Is Lara Trump the Future of the Republican Party?

"Where does the republican party go from here. How much do they go back to trump or you know. How much do they kind of. Rebuild this mega faction of the republican party. Going back to lindsey graham. He said that you know richard. Burr obviously is going to be retiring. This just opens up the senate seat for lara trump president trump's daughter in law. So that already kind of laying the groundwork he's saying that she's the future of the republican party. I think that anyone trump in their last name is going to struggle to win office. I think that they will have money and some support but there will also be a lot of opposition even within the party. Sort of even a quiet structural level can make it difficult to run. But i think that The party doesn't know. I think the leadership of the party doesn't know and i think you've got the josh hollies type cruises of the world. Who would be happy to continue in that. Populous trump approach. And then you've got the benz asses and the mitt romney's who want to abandon that and find a new way forward and i think they're really going to be fighting it out over the next. Several years

Nationwide of new covert 19 infections since the pandemic began, the largest the largest drop, so I mean, obviously we scaled up. We were at high just early January due to all of the travel over the holidays, But now we have. I think there's 180,000 new cases today, which is like, you know. Nothing. It seemed like it was just weeks ago when we had that second, Serge. Yeah, that's what it was. It was January early January after the but now we're seeing the largest drop. So they're wondering. I mean, is it is it the vaccinations? Is it just, you know, herd immunity because so many more So many people have had it. Even people who never got tested for it, or is it tied to the weather? Is this a spring fall? Surging virus thinking much more. And I'm I'm seeing a senator Amy Klobuchar of being interviewed about the dangers of the capital that the new video showed. So she's among the lawmakers in the Senate who are paying very close attention to these these video clips, okay? That's not the case for everyone. Among the Republicans who believe the impeachment trial of former president Trump in the Senate is nothing more than political theater is Senator Josh Holly. He's a Republican from Missouri who has chosen to sit in the gallery rather than on the floor of the Senate during the trial, and Garrett hey, ache. Is a reporter for MSNBC. He took note of that, and his report is our featured audio clip this hour. Garrett. I noticed you tweeted about the conduct of some of the members who were not paying attention. Tell us about what Josh Holly was doing. Well, I think that was one of the sort of two main takeaways from the last hour again the intractable nature of trying to get some of the folks in the room to actually engage with the material and be present and take this seriously. Josh Holly, who's made his disdain for this process, abundantly clear in public comments. Doing the same thing in the chamber. All the senators have the option to use the gallery, the upstairs area for seating for social distancing. Josh Holly is the only one taking advantage of that opportunity. He's been sitting with his legs up on the seat. In front of them, essentially reading non related material.

"Television, and he can imagine pretty much probably without too much heavy lifting even what the big stories of the week have been the people on the list, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. They go Go through them quickly. Starting the people list. There are a couple of names on here. I don't even recognize Joseph Biggs at number 10. Anybody know who he is? What, to his reason for being On this big big Eddie Biggs from Arizona. All right. So number nine. I mean, look at we could look him up. But I don't know who it may have something to do with the capital. Attacking Mr. Cowboys leader arrested. Uh, yeah. Okay. I'm happy. I don't know his name. That's a good thing. Me too. I didn't even know who that I didn't even know who the proud boys were. Until the debate. They can go away fast. Yeah. Okay. So number nine is Jen Psaki and Amanda Gorman. The number eight number? Well, these are all people who have been pardoned here in there's a bunch of them. Jen Psaki as the new White House press secretary, and Amanda Gorman is the kid who performed up the Inauguration. Who read the poet? That poem? Yeah, Kinda cute. Nice. There's nice Touch number eight. The pardon people, Bannen boys, you see his hair do what in the world is with him. When is this Steve Bannon? He never like. When does he ever looked? Okay. He looks like a homeless person. He Yeah, he kind of all right number seven, Josh Holly and Ted Cruz. Number six. Pete Buttigieg died to get dad to write for the first time. You know, Pelosi is five. McConnell is four. Harris is three. Trump is too and Biden is one Area this richer the switch A Rooney has taken place. The story list has a number 10 the Capitol attack in the investigation of that education situation at number nine. More and more. I've no center but where you are, but the schools were getting back into open mode pretty fast. Right there where you are in New Jersey. They've been open in New Jersey. They they've done two days in our two or three days in and then two days off. So what's the point of that time? What is the point of going one day and staying home the next day? What is that supposed to? Because the thinking of it, I guess is that it's in shifts. So there aren't so many kids all at once. So that it's not like a crowded classroom, and it gives the same Children go one day and other Children going other than everybody's doing stuff all five days and depends on what county you're in the in the county that I'm in Mama's County were now like the hardest hit county with Cove it so they're doing. I think two days in and then and then virtual for the other three That That's recent. That just changed so, yeah, but for the most part, I'm like I have a friend, A couple friends who are teachers in Manhattan and the kids are in the classroom. Private public squares and S. J. You're down in Nashville. What situation with schools there? I don't know my kids. Not instantly yet, So I really don't pay attention. Paying attention? Yeah. No way. Jennifer. What are they doing? That's just a mess there. What do you think this stupid? Everything in the glasses is stupid. I mean, it's really sad schools have been closed since March. And what is this going to do? What is this going to do to people? What's appropriate waste of a whole Imagine if you live 80 years 1/80 of your life is basically been wasted. Especially if you live in California. I mean, think about it that way. You know, I guess I'm just a extra angry this week because my grandmother passed and we had plans Tioga together not to do anything crazy, but to just rent a house together. The middle of the country in the middle of the state in central California. We were going to do that around Easter time and I was stripped of spending my last healthy holiday with my grandmother because she got sick. I was able to see her. Now she's gone and it you know, I'm angry, and I think other people are in there has to be a better way to do this. Can they need to take the power washer? I was talking about that earlier. Take the power washer to the politicians in California to sweep mall. Okay, get rid of all of them. Number eight is the economy. I thought it was interesting that the congressman Oh, sure where he's from. His name is Steve Stivers. Says the next round of checks the stimulus checks are to go on Lee to people who get the shots. What do we think of that? Yeah, that's that's his proposals. Stupid. Because now I can't even get the shots right now, if you were going to say, and I have never heard of this person, But if you were going to say it should only go to people who are unemployed. I would be for that. Okay? Yes. If it's only people who are, you know, at a certain income level, Okay? I'm for that. But only people who got a shot like that's just crazy. He's a lot of people are more because he is. Oh, I know this guy. Yeah, Yeah, Okay. I know there's a lot of it for that. There's no way that you could mandate you can't reward people for taking a vaccine. I'm sure that would be challenged. I don't know, but He wants there a lot of people who are disappointed because of the $1400 checks. Going instead of $2000 is a lot of Georgia voters are ticked off because it looks like the next round of stimulus is actually to be 1400 instead of 2000, and they're saying Well, we've got 600. They're saying a total set, but they feel like that was an ass trick and that they actually were taken were Hoodwinked. Need land out. They need to learn how to read and think. Well, the problem, though, is some people haven't even gotten that 600 because they haven't filed taxes for 2019 85 Saxes, right? And so if the 1400 passes if you haven't filed your taxes, I don't know where that's gonna. I don't know They're gonna have to change. My accountant said that people are entitled to it and haven't done their taxes will be able to take it as a credit on their tax return. For next year that is there 2020 tax return? Nothing that doesn't nothing. You know, cash in hand. I would. Since when have they thought things through the Iris? Hello. Oh, I know being no, No, there's no thinking anything Throw anyway, this guy Stivers says he thinks if you encourage people to get the shots, then that would be better. He referred to it his herd immunity. So you get the check. Here it is. Get a shot in one arm and stick your other arm. Let's get a Jetta vaccines. Heard immunities is naturally letting of Barry was the guy said, Well, then he needs to look up a lot of things. He needs to Google a lot, then congressman for awhile. I remember him. Yeah. All right. Meanwhile, back at the ranch here the economy as I said, his number eight. Our relationship with other countries, which has been on the back burner would seem at least as far as our attention is concerned. That's number seven. What? We were talking about the Russians being investigated by the new administration. What? So what? Give us a few details about how that's going to take place because everybody is now really focused on the Russians as well as the Chinese. I think they ought to be more focused on the Chinese..

Dennis is out today and tomorrow I'm here with you today, if it Mr Idlers in tomorrow, Dennis back on Wednesday, and we began way back for the first full day of the body over the first half day of the Biden administration. So I'll tell you what, Since I guess this is pretty well guaranteed. We've done a lot of business together here filling in on the Prager show, and it's always a joy since this is our last conversation together. During the during the remaining dwindling days of the trump era. That's probably something we can talk about. As we take stock of these four years that we've all been through love to hear from you. You know the telephone number 18 Prager, 77618 Prager 776 Let me give you a little thumbnail of some of the things I'm going to ask you about. We stand here at the brink of an inauguration, which is festooned with what 25,000. National Guard troops to some degree a slice the pie for me. There are two reactions to thousands upon thousands. Of troops adorn not adorning taking up their positions in Washington. May God bless every single one of those men and women in uniform. But here's the thing. That is either Hey. Proper vigilance in view of the fact that Hey, we did just have some riots. Or be it is political theater designed to make America think. Oh, my God in heaven. This is what we need to protect ourselves from crazy. Violent Trump stirs. Now. I don't think that's binary. I think it may be some of both. And I don't know exactly how I'd slice the pie of I've all I've often said in terms of preparedness for anything That I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. And how do you like to be the official who understaffed. You know the troops for the inauguration? And then have another riot. Break out. That would not be a good luck. But you know what? I have zero expectation of another riot breaking out just as I and you and everybody else. At zero expectation of a riot breaking out on January 6th Yet here's where we Are. We had Ryan on January 6th so suddenly retroactively President Trump, who spoke that morning he incited the riot. Have some idiot says that on the street, I'm prepared not to care. But when the Congress of the United States floats and impeachment based on that, Are you kidding me? And sadly, I'm not getting Cause that's where we are. And it's just centers like Ted Cruz and Josh Holly, that famous now infamous photograph of Josh Holly walking up on Capitol Hill, seeing perhaps a smattering of people they're gathered to support him, and Cruz and other brave Republicans who stepped into T cast some question. About this tainted election. Into perhaps opposed the acceptance of electors from some states where the constitution had been so savaged with laws had been so sidelined. That's what they were doing. It was constitutional through the system thoroughly lawful, everyone free to agree with it or disagree with it as they please. But now retroactively since we wound up having rioting that day. Cruise and Holly being called on to resign. All of this is stuff and nonsense is sound and fury signifying nothing, as is the impeachment, but you know, silly me. There may be impeachments in my life, and now we may have one every few years. I don't know that I agree with or disagree with, But this one is a stain. It's a stain on the Constitution. It's a stain on our history. It is a stupid juvenile vendetta moment born of a toddler tantrum of people who hate Trump. And and it's not just Democrats. Because 10 Republicans Liz Cheney, for crying out loud, who has done much that I've admired? Fred Upton in Michigan, Adam Kinzinger in Illinois and seven other backbenchers. Decided that the only way to telegraph their revulsion about the riots is this where we are now that in order to make sure that everybody knows that you are sufficiently repelled by the riots. Is to vote for impeachment of the president and and to invent out of whole cloth, the notion that he incited them, which is simply factually. Incorrect. It is a lie. I am. Universally repelled by the riots. Am Holy Condemning those who took part. You know what else? I'm repelled by. Tainted election. States changing the rules in midstream of sacrificing the Constitution and proper election procedure on a phony altar of covert urgency. You know that kind of repels me too. So there's a lot to be worked up about. But this notion that you you have to be on board for it for falsely accusing the president of incitement. In order to lay down some bonified of having been sufficiently critical of the riots. Good grief. Is that where we are And sadly. We are Follow me on Twitter at Mark Davis, the best show prepping the world before I do. The Prager shows. I finished my own three. Our program here on 6 60 am the answer in DFW and Boy did we way had quite the shindig this morning here on a Monday where we're anticipating Wednesday in the beginning of what I playfully, if perhaps accurately called the Harris Biden administration. Trump's second impeachment: Timeline of events by Julia Manchester

"Manchester Political reporter at the Hill. Thanks for joining us, Julia Thanks so much for having me. The House has impeached President Donald Trump for a second time. He is now the only president to be impeached twice the article of Impeachment was incitement of insurrection. Obviously we know what happened on January 6th when these pro Trump supporting mob stormed the capital, and everybody had to take cover. You know, it was just a crazy scene this past the house. 2 30 to toe 1 97 with 10 Republicans voting against the president. Julia tell us about, you know everything that led up to this moment. It's been a crazy seven days in Washington and really across the country. You know, it's interesting. You know, the insurrection of the capital happened seven days ago. And then seven days from now, a week from now, President elect Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46, president of the United States. So what happening But in leading up to impeachment, obviously what sparked? This was the insurrection. We saw that President Trump Help that rally in Washington, D C, telling the attendees of his rally to go up to the capital to voice their displeasure with the election results, and many interpreted his remarks as incitement, and it would appear that he did in sight this group of rioters to go to the capital now, Obviously, there were thousands of people to attend President Trump's rally, which was to essentially protest the electoral college results. And then we saw that you know some of the People. Large number of them did stormed the capital when they stormed the capital. It was during the certification of the electoral college vote had senators Josh Holly and some there's had crews essentially proposing challenge the electoral college results in states like Pennsylvania. "This is Bloomberg 11 30. Now. Global News update. President elect Joe Biden is dodging questions about the possibility of House Democrats moving to impeach President Trump again. Biden says he has long believed the president is unfit for office. He adds. He's primarily focused on his transition to the presidency. President elect Biden calling the writers who stormed the capital Wednesday. Ah bunch of thugs. During a briefing in Delaware, Biden called for a full blown investigation and says people should be held accountable. D C is increasing security measures around the capital. Mayor Muriel Bowser says they're getting ready for more protests ahead of the January 20th inauguration of President elect Biden, this time with more federal help. Search and rescue mission underway in Indonesia after a passenger jet carrying 62 people crashed into the Java Sea. That's the latest I'm Cameron Fairchild. You're listening to Bloomberg opinion on Bloomberg Radio. I'm June grown. So the day after the election, Missouri Senator Josh Holly, a rising star of conservative populism, declared Republicans in Washington are going to have a very hard time processing this, but the future is clear. We must be a working class party, not a Wall Street party. Holly is right. But continuing to embrace Trumpism goes against the goal, says Bloomberg Opinion columnist Michael Strain, director of economic policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute. And the author of The American Dream is not Dead. But Populism could kill it. And he's here to tell us why. Pills have Republican senators Josh Holly and Marco Rubio are sort of interpreting the election results. Well, I think that there is, I think that they are taking away from Theo the surprising strength of of the president, uh, on the other Republican party generally. As evidence that that the president economic policy were successful, and, um, that they should, you know, kind of rebrand the Republican Party as the party of workers on day. That's a sentiment that both Senator Holly and Senator Rubio expressed that they after the election that the election results Pointed the way to the future and in the future is with the Republican Party is a zoo party of walkers. President Trump often spouted populist theories and pro worker rhetoric. But did he follow through on any of that? Was there anything to back that up? In my view, the president actual accomplishment for the working class are in and really the president. The president's effort don't even seem to have been its focus wasn't really on work that rhetorically itwas You know, I think the major legislative accomplishments of the trump years was the 2017 tax cuts. I'm of the view that that is gonna increase Workerswages. I bet indirectly on the left. You take it well. The problem is that the effects of that tax hasn't been really held back by the trade war. With China and trade hostilities with other nations, and that conflict in the room of international trade has held back investment by businesses which has reduced that spending put downward pressure on productivity. Put downward pressure on workers. Ladies, the president really undone. Good that he tried to do with the corporate tax cut with his trade wars. Even if you look at manufacturing specifically, you know, it's common to hear people argue, you know? Yes, the trade war You know a little bit bad for the economy overall, but it'll do a lot of good for being factory workers. The evidence suggests that Manufacturing employment actually was reduced by the trade war. So even even manufacturing workers haven't benefited from both. And then when you add on the failures that Advanced healthcare security for workers and failure to reduce drug crisis for workers. You know you really You really don't see much that the president or his supporters can point to, in terms of a changeable things they've done to help workers. Senator Hawley and Senator Rubio and many other senators are obviously looking to try to solidify Trump's base behind them. But does it seem as if it's not so much a base because of populist theories, but more because of Personality. They're following Trump because of his personality. Well, I think they have. I think they have an opportunity to actually put some meat on the bones. Here s O if they if they want to turn their whole party into a pro worker party, I think that would be That would be great. And then the Rubio you know, particularly several years ago, had some really good ideas to help workers if they were to move in that direction. I think that would be a departure from From President Trump's policies. It wouldn't be a continuation of the policy on that, I think is is the tree distinction? Secondly, what you bring up is really important. You know what? What will Republican politicians take away from? President success, you know? Well, well, they try toe to mimic his aesthetic. Will they try to, you know, kind of mimic the rhetoric. You know, my hope, of course, is that is that that isn't what we're in for from from the Republican Party. I hope that they try to come up with some Creative solutions to address today's problems and try and implement them again. Recognizing that that wouldn't be a continuation of President Trump's four years, it will be a departure from it. Michael, Thanks so much. That's Bloomberg opinion columnist Michael Strain, director of economic policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute. And the author of The American Dream is not Dead, but populism could kill it. Here we go again, Another year begins and another year of New Year's resolutions. "The selection of president and that is when the Congress Certifies the election now that is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. We now know that several senators led by Ted Cruz and Josh Holly, to separate approaches here. Are going to file objections to the certification coming in from the states. What does that mean? That means that what we will see happen is that As that's The envelopes are opened is a call for certification. I let them walk through the particulars. On that moment, there's going to be formal objections filed by the way, not the first time in history. That's happened in fact, in the Bush versus Gore Era, the George Bush won the presidency after Supreme Court challenge it went to the Senate for the certification, and Barbara Boxer led an objection. So this happens. We're gonna walk through what that means. But here the objection is going to be that an emergency Electoral commission be appointed to conduct a 10 Day audit. And then those states that after the audits complete Think they need to change their electoral college status can do that now. What's interesting about that, Frankly, is that There's right now 12 senators talking about this, so the get it to where it would actually happen. You have to get the house and the Senate fan to agree on that, not a likely scenario. Not a likely scenario J. But what is gonna happen when these 12 senators objected, joined more than 140. Members of the House of in Objecting is both Chambers will have to debate the marriage, so they will then recess back into their own individual chambers, and they will debate for a couple of hours. The objections and Jay you mentioned that this is not unprecedented that it happened during the George W. Bush. Election J. They're actually been four times were Democrats have objected in one chamber or the other? And by the way, While there wasn't a senator that joined the last time around J. There were members of the house that objected to the very last presidential election of Donald J. Trump. In fact, Sheila Jackson Lee repeatedly objected during that. So this is a process is laid out in the Constitution. We now know that members of both bodies will object. There will be debate and J on this Wednesday. We'll see this process play out. The American people will watch this debate in both chambers, and it will come to resolution. The objection is going to be the appointment of Electoral commission and you work next thing that will get into the Particulars. Excuse me on that, but as it relates to As it relates to history. There is a history on this is not the first time it's happened. We'll get into it in greater detail. But there is history on this. Yes, there is history, and it goes back to the 19th century in the race between Rutherford B. Hayes and Samuel Tilden, where the electoral college votes were challenged, and the commission appointed by the soup consisting of Senators and representatives and members of the Supreme Court voted along party lines and Rutherford Hayes was elected president, United States by 11 electoral vote in that election, so these are not new things. It's just that we know more about them. Now we hear more about when we see more about them. They're more in front of us in the media and the things that we are more aware of. Then we were in the middle of the 19th century. The latter quarter of the 19th century. Yeah, I think Look, this is going to be We want your comments all this and 868 4 31 10. The legal challenges are pretty much done. You don't relate. There's no real path there. This isn't a constitutional approach. Will it be successful? What do you say to people who are out of work and have no health insurance? We all know you have health, excellent health insurance. Well. Here's what I say. Look to Congress, the president Isn't I'll go back to Steve's called earlier about presidents. Congress is the one who comes up with unemployment insurance. They're the ones who come up with health insurance rules. They're the ones who determined that the details the nitty gritty Of all that the president is just there to sign. Whatever he agrees with. So I did not say I don't want Biden to achieve anything. I just don't think I think he's a placeholder. And if the Republicans hold the Senate Then they're not. They're going to have to Congress is going to have to craft Whatever they're going to come up with, has got to be crafted. That will be Not extreme right or extreme left. So that it can get through the house and the Senate and get onto the president's desk. So that's what that's all about, JK says. Like I said, Tom Cotton came out and said it on second thought I'm not going to go along with objecting to the electoral certification. And President Trump. This afternoon. Waited. How can you certify an election when the numbers being certified? Are verifiably wrong? Actually, they're not. They're verifiably. Certified to be what they are. And he goes on at Senator Tom Cotton. Republicans have pluses and minuses, but one thing for sure. In capital letters, he writes, they never forget. So he's saying You go against the electoral college certification or I'm coming after you. This was a direct threat to Tom Cotton. I hope Tom Cotton, who well, like I said, was a military officer. Fought in combat. I hope he has a spine to say. No tough beans, buddy. I'm going with what I believe. Why is trump threatening Tom Cotton? Because this effort On Wednesday is not going to succeed. You do not have the numbers to be able to make it succeed. So he went after. Um Tom Cotton. I wonder what he's going to do because Lindsey Lindsey Graham Also just came out and balked at the effort. Led by Ted Cruz and Josh Holly. Hey, call them a political dodge. Josh Holly. Is a brand new senator. And he's so over the top. It's so clear. It's like it's like, um Eric Swalwell showing up every time there was a camera somewhere he wanted so badly to run for president, and he did, and he was taken out almost immediately. And Josh Holly reminds me of the Republican version of Eric Swalwell. He wants his, um Look, I'm all for ambition. But it's clear I'm running for president here. Thanks to those of you in Missouri who voted for me to be your senator, But I Yeah, whatever I want to be president, and you can see Josh Holly is trying to separate himself out from the noise of everybody else. And he's the guy the first one to stand up and say, I'm going to object to the Electoral College now, Josh Holly Is like Ted Cruz. I believe he clerked in the Supreme Court. So that means he's a neck sectional lawyer. Same with Ted Cruz. They're smart lawyers. So this has nothing to do with They know they know. I know. They know this doesn't have a prayer. So why is Josh Holly And Ted Cruz going to object to the Electoral college about count. When they know it will never pass. It is like a dog barking at the moon. For what? What are you going to do? That's what's going on right now. And in Georgia in in Pennsylvania, in Arizona, in Wisconsin, in Michigan, in Nevada, Okay, all these places have certified these elections. Okay? And their disputed there. There's a reason why, but disputed by by my I hope that that state legislatures who has just won't have brought up my electors, Trump's attorneys for Trump Trump there. There's a reason there's a reason why 160 members of Congress are now saying it's not Trump's attorneys right. There's a reason why 160 members of Congress disputed it. Who's dispute 101 160 members of Congress are publicans objecting to the tuition. Joe Biden. What do you think that's gonna as the president United States? It was a big deal? No, it's not. It's not a big deal it all 12 okay, but that's never happened before. Any bet that we never had an idiot president like this. I'm not. I'm not saying it's going to work. I'm just saying it's a big deal. You know, it's not. You could make your statements and your obviously scared I could. I could tell by your voice just scared. You're certain you're you're not so some of that second by the next Hold on a second, You know, hold on a sec Should hold on a second, jt your statement that you just made I will bet you I'm not wavering about it. I'm not waiting for a sentence without you interrupting. I'm not gonna talk for 10. Seconds without you interrupting me with your stupidity with what you just said, Because you're lying. And you're wrong. I'm not scared One bit. I will bet you a car. I will bet you every dollar that is in my bank account. I will bet you my life I just said I could buy spices like and I'm not gonna wait. If I could Please finish a sentence. You let me talk for 10 seconds and you constantly Drop me. It's bad radio. Can I please talk for 30? Seconds? You just said something stupid. That is not correct. You can't get inside my brain. So I'm going to try to explain to you how I feel. Make no mistake about it. I'm not scared One bit. You know what? I'm scared that I'm scared at the threatening our democracy. That's what I'm scared that But as far as your statement is scared, I think you're scared because I'm willing to bet you excuse me. Let me finish. I'm willing to bet you any amount of money that you would like that Joe Biden will be elected that will be signed into office on January. 20th. So your comment about me? Being scared is not only stupid, but you're lying because you know that's not true. Brian, I'm not lying. Part of me is scared. There's a part of me is scared. There's a reason why you're saying that this is not going to work. This is not going to work because I'm not valuable. That's why there's 160 members of Congress. It's not that that our objective not enough that's gonna overturn the 2020 16. There was one. It was she Lily Jackson, a Democrat's, by the way, Jake Tapper and these and these media personalities they're saying, you know, this is a This is a subversion of democracy is this addition Was that what it was it was feeling was that when she lovely Jackson objected in 2016, Why are you doing what about is and we'll talk. Thing about Donald Trump Right now. I don't have enough information on what took place. Four years. You're pretending. I don't like this has never happened. So I don't happen almost every year, Really. Democrats really whenever a Republican Winston lately Democrats At least one Democrat does is, but they never have a senator. Okay, now you have what? You have a Republican. You know, you have a Congress person and a senator, not just one. But okay senators on Ted Cruz and Josh Holly and a lot of conservatives, idiots. And these and these conservative senators. What they're saying is we propose a 10 day full audit to look into the irregularities of this election right after that to certify, Actually, it's look it's looking pretty decent broke again. You 30. You've almost 40% of Congress saying, Whoa, this is not right. It's a huge deal. Yeah, yeah, They have a lot of credibility. These Republicans, they are Republicans, and they don't care. I'll tell you, I'll tell you what's gonna happen, and I'll open it. Actually, you know, actually is the least of our credibility right now. To me is Mitch McConnell. Think Mitch McConnell has zero credibility, but Trump Mitch McConnell is financially compromised. Right? I I think Mitch McConnell based on the results of his election, because Louisville is very democratic. And it is. There are a lot of minorities lived at that live in Louisville, And that's it. The biggest city in Kentucky, Mitch McConnell, one Kentucky in his Senate race, But like 40%, I believe that Mitch McConnell cheated in his Senate race. I believe that Dominion voting systems gave votes to Mitch McConnell. I'm talking about Republican right now. Okay? I think I think Mitch McConnell, who by the way, believes that $2000 in stimulus checks for for the entire country is unreasonable, despite the fact that People have had to shut down their businesses in our entire lives been turned upside down. I believe that Mitch McConnell and I also understand you already said that he's connected to understand the Chinese. So let me respond. This McConnell is compromised as well. But I will definitely talk about Democrats and Republicans. I think that the swamp The swamp is very deep in the swamp is very real, by the way that the swamp is very deep, and the only way for the swamp to operate properly is if you have if you have members in high places on both sides, both both Democrats and both Republicans who have been getting rich for years off the American public selling out the American public who have been prioritizing themselves and their needs of everybody else, and you looked like what's happening with the steam hose package, or $25 million is going to Pakistan for gender studies. That's just the highest level of money laundering and prime and right now, Donald Trump is exposing all of this on a national scale, and it's a beautiful thing. So what's the weather? Joe Biden or Donald Trump wins the election or not, The public is now aware of what's been going on with these elected officials and how they have been taking advantage of the American people to enrich themselves. Okay, I think everything you just said is completely ridiculous. Starting with Donald Trump himself, his family has profited off his presidency. He is the swamp is part of the swamp. That's number one number two. Everything you said, doesn't matter. Joe Biden will be our next president of the United States. You said something completely idiotic and ignorant. Which is that I'm scared. I just told you I'd be willing to bet you any amount of money that Joe Biden will be our next president. You're the one that just prove that you're scared. I will bet anything and I will bet anybody that Joe Biden is our next president. It was no widespread voter fraud. And it was a fair election. You know who believes the same thing that I believe not only, you know, the former attorney general bar not only many Republicans across the board but our own FBI and intelligence agencies who some have said This is the most fair election that we've ever had. The people who disagree with me are the Donald Trump idiots out there the Trump stirs. Each trump lichens or whatever they are called. I'm gonna open up the phone lines right now. FBI Exactly. Thistles the depths Desperate attempt by Donald Trump to try to overturn the election. By the way, Here's some facts..

Romney: Plan to challenge election 'egregious ploy' that 'dangerously threatens' country

"A growing number of Republican lawmakers back in President Trump's repeated efforts to overturn the 2020 election results today, Senator Ted Cruz announced the coalition of 11 senators and Senators elect who will vote against Democratic electors from states where the president has alleged widespread voter fraud. Those lawmakers joined Missouri Senator Josh Holly, who was the first to announce his intentions to object to the state tallies during the upcoming joint session of Congress. In their statement announcing their intentions today, those 11 lawmakers said in part quote Congress should immediately appoint an electoral commission to conduct an emergency 10 Day audit of the election results in the disputed states. Senators went on to say they quote intend to vote to reject the electors from disputed states. Until that emergency 10 Day audit is completed. The announcement being met with strong pushback from Democrats, including Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal, who tweeted quote this pathetic on the pathetic, opportunistic stunt is an attack on our democracy. It is un American and unconscionable. Votes have been counted, recounted, Certified and all challenges, totally discredited time to govern and get things done. Even some Republicans expressing their disapproval with those 11 senators. Utah Senator Mitt Romney, releasing a statement that read, in part, quote the egregious ploy to reject electors, man hands the political ambitions of some but dangerously threatens our Democratic Republic. The congressional power to reject electors is reserved for the most extreme and unusual circumstances. These are far from it. President Trump's lawyers made their case before scores of courts and every instance they failed.

"A bill concerning fishing off the California coast is expected to anger environmentalists. The bill would have gradually ended the use of large mesh drift gill nets that are used in federal waters off the California coast. The recreational boating communities say the mile long Nets also catch non target species, including sport fish. Whales, dolphins and sea lions can also become entangled in the nets, where they are injured or die. President Trump veto the bill, saying it would increase reliance on imported seafood and worst of the multibillion dollar seafood trade deficit. Except for California. Senator Josh Hawley to contest electoral college results, forcing vote in the Senate

"Bunch of members of the house from House Republicans had suggested that they will be objecting to the official. Electoral college vote tally that takes place in Congress on January 6th. That is when Mike Pence will preside over the activities of the Congress and count these electoral college votes. Throughout history in America. It's been mostly a routine affair, with some exceptions along the way a specially this century. I'll get into that in a moment. But Josh Holly became the first United States senator yesterday to indicate that he would also object to the Electoral College certification process. On January 6. Here's what he said in his statement. Well, First of all, I don't recall hearing the Democrats make any such claims. Hold tight on that. That is him on Fox News last night, and I just I just want to read the statement that that Holly released, he said, following both the 2004 and 2016 elections. Democrats in Congress objected during the certification of electoral votes in order to raise concerns about election integrity. They were praised by Democratic leadership and the media when they did, and they were entitled to do so. But now those of us concerned about the integrity of this election are entitled Do the same. Holly says he can't vote to certify the electoral college results on January 6 without raising the fact that some states particularly Pennsylvania, failed to follow their own state election laws, and I cannot vote to certify without pointing out the unprecedented effort of mega corporations, including Facebook and Twitter. Interfere in this election in support of Joe Biden. At the very least, Congress should investigate allegations of voter fraud and adopt measures to secure the integrity of our elections. But Congress has so far failed to act and that's why Josh Holly says he will be issuing his objection. In January. 6 now Beverly. What makes this important is you need both a senator and a member of the house to do that, in order to force both both houses to take a break from that joint session and head back to their separate houses and have two hours of sustained debate over whether or not honor the objection. That means the house and the Senate will consider this objection. Because they got the requisite one senator and one member of the House to object. It doesn't mean it goes any further than that. And we know it won't because Nancy plus that controls the house.

"Behind President Trump's $2000 direct payments proposal. Four Republican senators have publicly said they support those $2000 direct stimulus payments. Senators Kelly, left Lord David Perdue, Marco Rubio and Josh Holly left. Lauren Purdue are facing a tough reelection battle next weekend. Georgia So their support for boosted checks certainly makes sense for them politically, but the Senate will need him. For Republicans to support a procedural measure that starts debate on the bill. If all 48 Democrats vote for it to get to 60 votes, and at this point, we still don't know if Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will even call it up for vote this week. Katherine Folders
