Four times the number of colors on screen at once. Wow and it can pull colors from a Palette of sixty four total options. No longer were you forced to decide between supporting dark yellow or having Brown. Cgi chose Brown because it was decided that that was a color that would far more frequently be used than dark yellow. The resolution sobar graphics had increased as well as support resolutions of up to six forty by three fifty. Though there are some caveats. I'll get to in a second. "Primary season download it where ever you get your podcasts C. A. R. news in nineteen C. A. R. news so what we do what should we do what can we do how do we make the most of this going forward there's a couple of things we can do is take a look at what we could improve to make sure if something like this ever happens again we're better prepared whether it's food storage and ammunition storage for some people or whether it's financially not being in a place of such great need whatever it is but I would say in the immediate future what we can do is if you are able to help out with the people that are on the front lines if you are able to if you have some of those masks if you have hand sanitizer drop him off at a fire station near in your neighborhood drop him off at the local police precinct sheriff's office make sure that the men and women there on the front lines can protect themselves now most of the time you will see firefighters medics EMTs whatever or cops troopers deputies officers they carry hand sanitizer found called going hands on when you are hands on you want to make sure you're safe you're protecting yourself a special EMT first responders in that regard you know you're dealing with people that are not well you're B. deal with sick people and so they do use a lot of hand sanitizer now it's imperative if you're able to all these people they're hoarding hand sanitizer and doing those things you're not just doing a disservice to your neighbors and being selfish this is a public health risk for the men and women on the front lines if you're able to donate some of those things just drop them off at the local precinct even if it's a little bit the reason why is it shows those people that have no choice but to be in harm's way that we are thinking of them and we want to make sure they're as protected as possible just like you know we weren't we were not saving lives in the war effort when we were packing up boxes are sending things to the troops deodorant hard candy socks stuffed creature comforts that they didn't have issued to them there were a lot of people in this country that were part of packing parties and shipping goods over to the troops and it did more to for them to know we were thinking of them than anything else but that was the idea behind it here it can feel tuned to needs to voids one is yes it's that we are thinking of your mom more than ever we appreciate you being willing to do your job I have a friend who was a firefighter and his wife for family friends and he's a captain with the fire department in Phoenix and he's got young children she's in the medical field she's she works in a dentist's office or family owns and they are shut down now except for emergencies because they're not doing the left of work but imagine the concern of bringing home a contagious diseases contagious virus to your family that is a real concern and yet their job mandates that they still do these things we can do a little bit to make sure they keep in just a little healthier and it also was a gesture and saying we understand sacrifice a little bit I think that's something we all can do if you're young and you're healthy yes you can go out and you can volunteer I think that's something that we all can do I have a a neighbor a couple right next door to us that are that are an older couple of being able to ask them what do they need can we can we pick something up for you at the grocery store so you don't have to go out and take a risk my neighbor next door maybe reach out maybe I was I was on it I was actually thankful a little too early maybe my neighbor reached out to me because he thinks I'm elderly maybe that's why he reached out to me to ask me if he could pick up something from a cosco maybe I thought it was just a nice gesture but maybe he said was white Hey the old guy next door might need something and he's at a high risk group maybe that's what he was doing but it was nice my neighbor said I'm going to Costco it it did it decreases congestion and and and things it just nice things we.

"C. A. dot com see you can score some passes there Gregory's was kind of rolled through this what are some of the other kind of hot items you feel like we should hit on we've got to you know a few more minutes before we have to take another break what can we what we jump into and help our radio listeners our well you know I think that so many people out there to buy a whole mentality a lot of that goes back to to the mutual funds and your retirement accounts and so Amy and I think I talk about people who are retiring maybe are nearing retirement or thinking about the retirement in one big things I I hear all the times will say oh yeah I retired a couple years ago and my my very first question them is always you know give an old four one K. or four to be a sense an old employer and sometimes they'll say yeah yeah just to sit in there to me that's like a garage fight yeah yes yeah right like pickers yeah like Raj finally find this car that you see all the time like the final nineteen sixty five Milano marine corps vet you know prime shape and it's worth you know a million dollars or something clean one owner original title all that stuff and I think sometimes people don't realize that they have that inside of an old four one K. for to be seen all employer and I'm not a financial vice gonna be very careful here but you know there are opportunities you can talk to financial visor on the potential of ruling that over to a self directed IRA yeah and now once it's there guess what you're not just stuck with the the ten or twelve mutual funds that it's in you cannot certain brokers you can actually best in all the mutual funds you want not just the ten you can invest in exchange traded funds MTS and we already talked with home amazing opportunities are there compared to mutual funds he has a liquidity all sorts of things you can do the things that we start to touch upon at the at the introductory class will start interviews he told it to to options and futures and forex and leverage your money and to the world kind of opens up to you versus just you don't deal buy and hold and just now well someday I'll get it out there and and try to retire off of it and a lot of times I've I've heard people and he is a good point to pay you back what you're just saying a lot of times I've heard people be fairly nervous about doing that let's say well you know I'm I'm I'm worried about trading inside of my rate because of the tax implications and and so there's a lot of kind of confusion around that work just because you're buying and selling you're still in that tax deferred vehicle which would be your IRA just because you're buying and selling stocks doesn't take you out of that and so I know there has been some concerns that people have brought up around that you're still keeping everything in that account so you still get those kind of deferred benefits that that four oh one K. or that irate you know those different account types actually actually went to you you're not putting that stuff in jeopardy but the first one of my one of my favorite things lately I'm sure your pride and sick of hearing me say this is of some of the things we were not but one of my favorite things lately is when to do what I said it like a week ago now I can't stop saying it but that's really what this boils down to write when to do what when to buy when to sell right whether to your IRA with your four oh one K. with us for for like the short term side of things with the long term side of things the key is when to buy what and you in your structure team do an amazing job with that with introducing people to what that concept looks like which is with our padded core strategy we got to take another break here in just a second how do we try to squeeze in another give away let's do it we do a quick little giveaway here to give you the opportunity to win win a few sets a tickets to one of these classes so you can start really getting introduced to what all of this looks like and how it could possibly fit into your life we've got a class coming up in.

"Then he went into all of the accomplishments of the he has made in the last is in in the two years since then and any talked about U. S. M. C. A. and he talked about the economic boom that we're experiencing did he do this because of all the naysayers I mean everywhere along the line the global community has said that the president was going to crash the economy and he was gonna drive America into the ground is that why he he did this or they on his side or the cheering him yeah absolutely merry that I don't think anyone and there's very few people and and gave us that really necessarily wanted the president to come but and it certainly the president has reason to be skeptical of going to have to hang out with the global elite and you know that something his supporters have never really appreciated but the way that trump does it is it is so refreshing for his supporters he's traveling there to talk global elite so what do remind them that America is back he did what he said he was going to do and and you know this his twin victories with the US MCA and the first phase deal with China neither major victories not to mention all of the great economic news the United States and he's there to say you know America is the best and you should do what we do and you should not follow countries like China I think that's a very important message to send the the the global elite yeah Charlie I'm seeing some covers the suggests that that those folks who attend Davos these world leaders are are there in some sense with a sense of relief that their dire predictions about Donald trump's presidency did not come true but how do they respond to a world in which he is the leading edge of re orienting trade policy for instance where instead of these gigantic multi lateral deals we have these bilateral deals including one that were ranging with the U. K. in the wake of brexit we've got the U. S. M. C. a set up and we also watch the present working directly with China how does Davos or that sat reckon with that world well I think the approach it with a little bit of concern you know the it is a different approach than there used to wear and you know as trump says America was willing to give away multiple multiple deals in favor of greater global influence and I think that they're going to approach it with a little trepidation but I'm sure the leaders and in early nineteen M. are certainly interested in getting trachea bilateral trade deals done which is something that no president Obama warns that would not happen under his presidency if they decide to leave the European Union and certainly you know president McCrone of France he's a little concerned because trump has threatened to level terrace on on one another products in retaliation for their decision to level more terrorists digital on American digital products so I think that David approach it with a little trepidation because they know that trump is willing to use the terrace and it's but it maybe it's an opportunity for them to sit down with the president work something out he's also a deal maker Charlie engine what's the purpose of this meeting the purpose of this I think for the president it's it's a you know shoot out his America first message in relief declare victory and it's it's really just as a chance for him to you know stick it to the global elite says let the critics the critics and I think the president will join that more than anything else well he he actually did here's the president at Davos earlier today when I spoke at this forum two years ago I told you that we had launched the great American come back today I'm proud to declare that the United States is in the midst of an economic boom the likes of which the world has never seen before we regain their stride we discovered our spirits and we awaken the powerful machinery of American enterprise America is thriving America's flourishing in yes okay is winning again like never before yeah America's winning and then one greater than ever before he also cities was gonna let radical socialists destroy our economy which is I I think kind of a shot across the bow to some to some countries so the president touting America but is he taking an adversarial stance with some of these countries well I thought it was interesting that he you know stuff you'd specifically reached out to everyone who you know although the leads that have their number one issue that as global warming is the number one issue climate change and he said you know we must reject these perennial profit to doom and the predictions of the apocalypse because they're using more to take control of our lives and you make government the most important thing going forward yes and for the president it's it's no it's important to make our citizens the most important thing to fight for them for their economic success and I think that's a big turn from the European model which is increasingly looking like an overbearing government trying to control its citizens Charlie the before we let you go what do you think's gonna get more media attention in the United States today the American president demonstrating the success of our economy or the impeachment trial beginning in the Senate well I think he's I think Vince it's gonna be impeachment twenty four seven I just want a reason why the president wasn't didn't feel too bad about leaving town thank you Charlie Charlie Charlie spring always very good to have you and really appreciate your analysis this morning from Dallas thank you you back anytime all right at the end before before we get the traffic here I do want to share what Charlie just shared with us which is this global warming confrontation that trump that president trump had with Davos listen to him this morning take a look this is not a time for pessimism this is a time for optimism fear and doubt is not a good thought process because this is a time for tremendous hope and joy and optimism in action but to embrace the possibilities of tomorrow we must reject the perennial process of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse they are the heirs of yesterday's foolish fortune tellers and I have them and you have them and we all have them and they want to see is too badly but we don't let that happen they predicted an overpopulation crisis in the nineteen sixties mass starvation in the seventies and an end of oil in the nineteen nineties these alarm is always demand the same thing absolute power to dominate transforming control every aspect of our lives we will never let radical socialists destroyer economy record country radic eight our liberty America will always be the proud strong and unyielding bastion of freedom in America we understand what the pessimists refuse to see that a growing and vibrant market economy focused on the future and lifts the human spirit and excites creativity strong enough to overcome any challenge any challenge by far that's a big trump the finger in the eyes of globalism yeah it was it was a very good one thing that does surprise me is is that he said that the US is going to join the one million trees initiative to help Klimek combat she could to help combat climate change nothing wrong with planting trees yeah but which is why I think he did it it kind of threw a little bit of a bone yeah to to the climate people because this happened he also said this morning he believes in the environment which is nice well that's good that's good to believe it seven fifteen now WMAL traffic.

"About the U. S. M. C. A. which we got going on again getting that enacted as well well it does it actually was voted on in the Senate yesterday kind of surprisingly Joe that before they waded into the whole impeachment fog yesterday are they took a boat on the U. S. M. C. A. an approved at eighty nine to ten that means it goes on to the president's desk he will undoubtedly sign it still needs to be ratified by Canada but that is expected as well there're outs of Commons is on recess and they will reconvene later this month when they are expected to approve it so obvious I'll tell you what if it wasn't for the whole impeachment thing going on this will be pretty good marks for president trump not only getting phase one of the China trade deal finished now we have a new U. S. M. C. A. which will replace nafta the north American free trade agreement which had been in effect since nineteen ninety four now although the president has said that nafta was the worst trade deal in history needed to be torn up this new deal actually includes a lot of the same terminology exact same language that nafta did with a few changes to improve by the security of the auto industry in this country protect workers in this country also expand agricultural markets in Canada in particular or Gary farmers and poultry farmers so there are some important changes to this but Joe it's not the block buster that you would see with the China trade deal but it's important for stability in North America with our neighbors to the north and south and does something that will provide trade peace for us for the foreseeable future now there were some voting against it and the opposition they had was first that it did not address anything regarding climate in this trade agreement and the other part was that that they felt there wasn't enough protections for American workers there was one Republican that voted against this surprisingly Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania who's been a staunch supporter of president trump and his reason was interesting he has said that this is the first trade deal in history in which the intent was to diminish trade so there was opposition but none the less this is another trade deal that the press and can point to down the road in his reelection campaign and say something I accomplished good information NBC news radio's bills in for thank you Sir have a great weekend six forty two now on our land those morning news the five day forecast brought to you by U. S. heating and air conditioning good morning Tom Terry winter changes are coming Joe but is going to be next week that we really see the colder weather but at least we take it out of the rafters are not the eighties today only mid seventies gusty throughout the afternoon as well as we have a big ridge of high pressure building down the east coast to our north and that is going to keep us with a rather brisk on shore flow today blood tonight the.

A. across the finish line this time I ask unanimous consent is B. document be submitted for the record ways and means committee ranking Republican member Kevin Brady sent a letter to be submitted thank you as free from probably a one minute to the gentleman from Kentucky Mister comer madam speaker ever since president trump struck a new pro American trade agreement with Canada and Mexico over a year ago he has worked tirelessly with members of both parties to get to the point of passing the US MCA through Congress make no mistake about it the president's leadership on this issue has put us on the brink of this tremendous accomplishment today we will pass a new trade deal that will create jobs grow our economy and help our farmers having strongly advocated for the passage of this deal I'm proud to express my strong support for US MCA and all the opportunities it will provide Kentucky will strongly benefit from US MCA estimate show that our state alone will see over two hundred sixty million more in agriculture exports to Canada and Mexico you trade markets more stability for our farmers and manufacturers and more accountability from our trading partners will help our people and grow our entire economy as a farmer in Kentucky's former commissioner of agriculture I know first hand the need for our country to establish new markets for our farmers I'm proud to be a strong voice for the agriculture community and represent their interests in Washington this is a great day for our farmers for Kentucky and all of America thank you and I yield back the gentleman from Texas reserves the gentleman from Massachusetts is recognized man figure this really happy moment for me to acknowledge the work that Jim Gomez did on behalf of labor rights he stood up in the working group on behalf of working people and I think that he considerably shifted this argument in their direction the jellies and means committee chairman Richard Neal California Jim Gomez one and a half minutes the gentleman from California is recognized not a speaker before again I ask unanimous consent to enter my written statement and a letter into the record without objection letter shall be submitted madam speaker the ritual nafta was a failure for working families and that nafta two point oh deal that president trump sign in to in twenty eighteen was not much better house deck Democrats recognize that and we rejected it and we worked until we got another forcible deal and as a result the final revise your some say is much better than nafta one point no and it even even better than nafta two point now and I would say you can even call it nafta light anymore and despite our work even with the improvements that have that we have made I know that this will bring back all the jobs that we've lost here in the United States but over time I hope the new labor standards and then enhanced enforcement mechanisms we negotiated we'll help raise wages in Mexico reducing US corporation incentive to outsource jobs no trade agreement or legislation is perfect and I do not endorse every single provision of US MCA but I know that it's always easier to talk about a problem the to fix a problem and and when we would proceed on this issue future trade agreements must recognize that trade and globalization have push wages down and weaken the negotiation power of workers this is where our focus must be one provision I'm proud of is in labor and that is specifically a new rapid response mechanism to enforce labor standards this has never been ran into into American trade agreement and by sure ensuring Mexican workers rights are protected we prevent a race to the bottom for the first time ever we have an enforceable labor standard in a trade agreement so I like to thank everybody who worked on this and make sure that we're moving in the right direction with that I yield back the gentleman from Massachusetts reserves the gentleman from Texas is recognized yes ma'am three compound yield one minute to the gentlelady from the show me state ms Wagner the general idea is recognized I thank my friends in taxes now I'm speaker I rise today to urge my colleagues to vote yes on U. S. and see a trade agreement for months partisan politics in the Democrats impeachment charade have prevented us from finalizing this agreement but it is clear to members on both sides of the aisle that the president has to go she dated a deal that will strengthen our economy and benefit all Missourians in Americans one of every three rot rows of crop is grown exports in the great state of Missouri and this deal expands market access in Canada and Mexico for our farmers the first time that a US trade agreement is specifically addressing biotech and the St Louis region is the Silicon Valley for ag tech US sensei also includes the Wagner language on human trafficking I work for them that's our light Heiser to guarantee that the US MCA holds my fight online sex trafficking act frosted to help stop on my sex trafficking here at home and now throughout North America I yes on the US MCA is a yes for victims I yes for jobs I yes for farmers and a yes for the prosperity of all Americans I think you and I yield back the German from Texas reserves the gentleman from Massachusetts is recognized madam speaker there was no more important advocate of environmental issues it is number the trade working group and was Suzanne Bonham BG from Oregon and I'm proud to yield to her one and a half minutes the gentleman from Oregon is recognized thank you madam speaker I rise in support of the updated United States Mexico Canada trade agreement in the years that followed nafta's enactment in nineteen ninety four American jobs were outsourced to Mexico in the wages and working conditions were not improve for Mexican workers this agreement while not perfect is an important opportunity to fix the damage from nafta and to create a new baseline for future trade agreements the renegotiated U. S. M. C. A. strengthens labor rules so what will be easier to prove violations it includes a robust.
