"NBC and streams the next day on peacock. Much more on show as expressed dot com and for the show's express network, I'm Ross crystal. It's Friday. March 31st, thanks for spending the last day of this month with us here at WTO. Time now is three 80. Ian Crawford in the WTO traffic center. Pretty chill in our work zones in Virginia dino will start their interlude with the capitol bellway before you get to I 66 single right past that work zone. The bigger one was after one 23, but that's much tamer now heading to the dulles toll road also one to the right to get by. Outer loop work after the legion bridge, heading for the Delos toll road. It's a right lane to get by that one. In fact, you see the cones as you're coming off the legion bridge, from Maryland into Virginia on stick with Virginia on 66, the word continues inside the melway. Eastbound after the capitol bellway a left lane is blocked and then closer to fairfax drive again, single left getting by. That works on westbound outside the bellway. You'll find the work near the fairfax county Parkway. That should be one to the left to get by there as well. In Maryland, pretty drama free on both 95 and the BW Parkway waiting for it all cleared our work, so it's dork bound on 95 near the Baltimore beltway blocking a left lane. Southbound on the Parkway near I one 95 and BWI thurgood Marshall airport and the right lane was getting by their single file, 50 across the bay bridge two way traffic still traveling on the eastbound span without much fuss on three 55 through Montgomery county, the southbound work after pooch's hill road heading toward Cedar lane, single ride getting password, little confusing heading through this work zone. With the codes actually cropping up near grove near lane before you even get to the capitol bellway, but I believe that ramp that left hand ramp that carries you from southbound three 55 onto the interloop should be open without a great deal of fuss. Ian Crawford WTO traffic. As he moved towards sunrise a risk of frost across the suburbs, guys will be part of the cloudy and all of us will be the 30s by sunrise. "That across an agency that has over 800 employees and suggested there's a culture of corruption. There is not. Meghan cloher, WTO news. Three O 6 Friday morning, we're learning more here at WTO P this morning about the 36 hour standoff just this week between local police and a woman in a car on route one and high blue valley. At least say the standoff happened as police tried to arrest her for the abduction of a woman from Maryland. It was last Friday when 25 year old Lauren Kingsbury went missing from Laurel. Fast forward to Tuesday, she was found safe by fairfax county police during a welfare check, and at that time she told officers another woman, 29 year old Brittany Copeland, kidnapped her. That led to a brief car chase that ended on Richmond highway, police then realized Copeland was suffering from a mental crisis. You know, we're in control. And because we're in control, we don't have to act with haste. There's no shot clock here. Fairfax county police chief Kevin Davis has Copeland had a gun. They were several moments where she pointed a gun to her own head. Fortunately, Copeland surrendered Davis praises as officers for their actions, as for Copeland, she faces a long list of charges in both Virginia and Maryland. In fairfax county, Mike Morello, WTO P news. The family of a prince George's county man paralyzed during a traffic stop in 2019, reaching a settlement this week with the county and its police department. Demons award Blake was standing up in handcuffs when a police officer slammed him headfirst into the ground in October 2019, he was immediately and permanently paralyzed from the neck down. Attorney Malcolm Roth says ward Blake's family has reached a 7 and a half $1 million settlement with prince George's county, attorney Billy Murphy says the county has paid tens of millions of dollars out of its general fund to settle cases like this in recent years. They are to be angry about it. We need police for protecting our world so we can live life as human beings, but this has to stop. Renee ward is de Monte's mother, her son was shot and killed a few months after he was paralyzed. At the federal courthouse in greenbelt, John dome in WTO, he knew. The Friday morning march 31st, three O 8, WWE Champion. For only $59. Michael. And good morning to Ian Crawford. And we go right to the capitol beltway on the outer loop, we saw the cones in the road after the legion bridge, heading for the dulles tail road right lane getting by pretty effortlessly now, though with some caution, interloop to work after one 23 carries you to the Dallas toll road single right all the way. 95 cubic out of Fredericksburg so far so good this running no reported delays all the way to the Springfield interchange three 95 is quiet, all the way to the 14th street bridge. We still had some cones in the road, eastbound and westbound on 66. Eastbound is inside the beltway. After fairfax drive, exit 71, it's me left lane to get by outside the ball where the cones are going to be after the fairfax county Parkway and they should be single left to get by there as well. On the rest of the Virginia roadways actually doing fairly well so far this morning, let's go to Maryland. 95 north that watch for cones of the road near the Baltimore beltway exit 49 should be blocking a left lane beat up on the on the Baltimore Washington Parkway near BWI thurgood Marshall airport and I one 95. The codes were in the road, southbound, and it was a single right lane to get by. 50 across the bay bridge, doing pretty well, no reported delays, even though we're still doing two way traffic on the eastbound span of the bay bridge, probably for another hour or so. And then the ride between the bay bridge and the beltway through buoy at Annapolis is pretty uneventful. In the district, on D.C. two 95, the earlier issue we had in the main travel lanes, it's resolved near nanny Helen Burroughs avenue, however, right next to it on kennel or avenue that service road that felt that that's outbound service right is blocked between burrows avenue and Benny road because of ongoing police activity. Ian Crawford WTO traffic. Product cloudy skies and chilly overnight with the risk of frost across the suburban areas and overnight lows will be in the 30s. Layers today turning cloudy

"The weekends here, everybody. At 1218. Welcome in. Probably good weather all the 8s are what it breaks first as always over to Ian Crawford this morning at the WTO traffic Sims. And right back into The Rain, we got new activity to talk about this time in Virginia. And Alexandria or trying to leave it anyway southbound telegraph road as you make the ramp to the outer loop of the capitol beltway. That's where you find the crash activity. And the they say the exit ramp narrows, which doesn't really tell us a great deal. What we will say is follow police direction. We don't know which side of the ramp is getting by, but the ramp is open. From southbound telegraph road onto the outer loop of the capitol, bellway. What's on the beltway, you are good between McLean and Alexandria, no reported issues pending, 95, and three 95 as far south as register for green lanes, no reported delays, but again, it all comes with a caveat that we got a sloppy track. Extra caution, a lot of roads breaking can decrease your visibility. More following distance, less speed to get from here to there. On 66 between haymarket and the roslin tunnel, no reported delays, no work zones overnight. It's too darn wet to work, so we're finding the lanes are all open and available for the moment. And in Maryland 95 Baltimore, Washington Parkway doing very well outside the beltway inside the beltway, BW Parkway northbound still with some lingering crash activity near two O two over on the right shoulder. Near BWI thurgood Marshall airport Dorsey road route one 76 between telegraph road at old telegraph road crank activity, we're going to follow police direction around that 50 across the bay bridge, no reported delays, no lane restrictions, and no lanes being held. It's three lanes going west two lanes going east to and from the shore of the ride between the bay bridge and the beltway through Bowie and Annapolis, no reported issues.
