"Is not, it's not because it will basically determine who gets homecourt advantage. But basically. It's pretty solidify again unless the seventy sixers win two straight and then whoever from the pacers heat lose two straight. They're going to play in the first round, the playoffs. Obviously. We've talked about the story lines. Hiding behind are riding around. You. The. Heat and Pacers obviously brisk basically between Jimmy Butler. In TJ warn? Obviously. It's going to be a game. For for for a lot of people to pay attention to. It's a series between two teams that are just it's just a good series to watch. It, it's not a big series terms of stars like Oh. Wow. But it's just a game that if you're a true basketball like I, WanNa Watch this series, I wanna see to good quality teams, play each other and see who's the better one. Really, it really is like if you think about it, so people could see Butler a B. Plus Star. A lot of people considered to? A Be Star. If the bonus was playing, you'd have the battle of to up and coming big men. You know. You. You, know you have a lot of young players in this game and. One of those things where. Either way. I see the heat winning this game was six. I I had this feeling of the patients when the series seven. But I could see the heat winning six I. Don't think this will be I think it will go longer than seven, but it won't be any shorter than six I think that's how competitive is going to be. This will probably be the most competitive series of the first round. For the Eastern. conference. Based off the two teams. Ed You know listen t warranties the play. The way he plays. It's GonNa make some fireworks because listen they're playing now, and then literally in about a few days, they may have played again, four, five, six, seven times. In. So basically in about a span of two and two and a half weeks, they may have to play each other eight times the Pacers in the. That's eight times for Jimmy. Butler into tie TJ Ward get into it. It's eight times for this. For this. This series to be actually maybe physical series, a series of just a lot of things. Like a lot of stuff. Could come out of this series. I think it's definitely one a more exciting wants to watch. So we'll have to see what happens I for me right now, I'm going to take the heat to win the series. But soon as go away my pain. But that's all the time here. The segment coming up next, we're GONNA break down the first round matchups potentially in the West. Obviously, the Abe spot, I'm going.

They wouldn't build the odd driving when I had the whole building would have been open. No, you understand. I'd be getting close to people driving a Montreal because they got tickets. No doubt stubble. Don't try to go together. Now, if you're American you across. That's what I'm saying. It's different. And I need this. Like a sociological study. I need to understand. Warren when he faced the Sixers in the first game of the bubble, 53 points. He got Butler goes public in, said Warren is soft. He's not doing that to a T. Mama. All right. How do you think Warren did last night? Miami wanted to blow up by the way. How do you they take Warrick got 53 last night with Butler on the court. What you have 12. He had 12 points. He had 12 points. I Jimmy Butler is not just a good player. He's a mentality that the sixes don't have bright Jimmy Butler is a tough player who plays best in the biggest moments, and they let him go because Brett proud wasn't comfortable with him. That that that when Yu CME beats quote about it, he wasn't even in it seems like indeed saw it. He would have another shot with Butler dramatic to play again. Try to get further in the East and they represent over Jimmy Butler. That's great way to look at Brian give me something worse than the Phillies bullpen. A flooded basement. Oh, last week. Oh, my. "For coffee lovers today's mystery. Well, this industry Gabi Crockett on March six. Great. Texas heroes like Jim Buoy, James Butler Bonham, and William Travis dead among the defenders that day was Davy Crockett former congressman legendary hundred scowl, and teller of tall tales according to sell accounts Crockett died in. A battle that according to others. He was one of a handful of men captured and later executed what really happened while there's the battle and Aaron Lace, the myth and mystery. But exactly who was Davy Crockett he was born in Tennessee. Eight seven, hundred, eighty, six as a young man he was indentured by his father to pay off debts once they were paid in full he was finally allowed to leave home. Although he was voted into Congress, no one knows where he was educated yet he was articulate understood politics and could play the fiddle Crockett's true claim to fame prior to his death at or around. The Alamo was just a hunter in his youth tessie was still a wilderness out one time. He supplied food through skills of hunting for an entire army. While in Congress, he opposed add Jackson's argument to relocate local Indians. Congress. Crockett became a freemason. What We Can Learn from a LOT of Blood Samples

"This episode, we're going to be talking to Tatyana for rude and Brooke pates about the Bio Bank. What is it? What does it do? How can we use it for research including COVID Research Brooke. Tatyana. Welcome, Brooke, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what do you do? My name is Brooke pay I manage the operations of the. INDIANA. By obey can have been doing that for about seven years now. So all of our intake of samples are recruitment of subjects. That is all falls under what I do. Well, how did you get to this? What training via have? What did you go to school for degree to get what? What do you do to get this job? I have an undergraduate degree. Degree from Butler University in Biology, but always liked the ethical issues related to the technology of the science. So that landed me in the Masters Program at Iu, I have a masters in bioethics after I graduated. I. Took a position with a bio. Bay That was a nonprofit startup by obey associated with are you and then several years into that role the company. Became more associated with you and I began working for Tatyana Tatiana. You've been on the program before, but for those who might have missed that episode and they should definitely go back injured anyway, you tell us a little bit about yourself, your training of what you do, of course. So many Tatyana, food, I am the chair of the Department of medical and molecular genetics and. And I'm also now the director of the Indian Bio Bank. So I got here through have an undergraduate degree in biology and math I did that in Connecticut at a small liberal arts. College called Fairfield. University. And then I got a master's degree in something called bio mathematics put those two things together. I did that at Ucla and then I got my PhD. In Indiana University and loved it loved what I did and just stayed and never left. So I've been on the faculty now for over twenty five years. So let's strong with just the basics. What what is a bio bank? So I can start with that. So if you take the word apart bio meaning anything biological and Bank we all think of a bank is a place. You put your money. This is a case where this is a place where you put specimens or biological material. So if it was just Just Bank of biological material I. Mean it has some value, but it's really valuable when you link it to information about the individual from whom you got that biological sample. Typically, we do this for all kinds of diseases, but we're going to talk today about in particular people who were Kovic positive and it lets us ask questions about, for example, why did some people die? Why did some people improve after being in the hospital? Why did some people never end up in the hospital? Why do some people have long term complications? Complications and others not and this marrying of biological samples and clinical information lest you ask those questions. So it's a a bio bank I have so many questions about the logistics about it. So what what kind of samples first of do you take an house? One of the things that's really easy to be able to obtain relatively easy is a blood sample. So if you think about a people go to a doctor's office, you get kind of blood drawn for lots of different reasons. So it's a relatively relatively easy thing to. To, be able to collect, but there's lots of different things you can obtain an study from a blood sample. So one of the things that you can obtain from a blood sample is DNA. So that's our cinetic material allows us to ask all kinds of things about genetic people use the word genetic predisposition. Why do some people develop disease and you ask about changes DNA that might contribute to that? If you take that blood sample now and also do some other things to it. So for example, if you're able to. Literally spin a sample you to spin it in a machine that spins it really fast. You can actually get the blood to separate and it comes into these different parts of the blood. One of the things we study is something called plasma. So plasma and and kind of a partner to it, which is serum are really valuable because you can measure things called proteins in and proteins are things that our body has. A lot of people have been talking about like. Like, antibodies and things like that. You can measure antibodies, which lots of US have been hearing about in plasma and serum. So we collect that from individuals that are in the Bio Bay something else that we collect is something called Arnie. Now aren a simply tells us how much of a protein we make. So week study thing called expression, how much do we express it and so some of the things that can be important is if we make a lot. Lot of something or less of it, and could that be controlled by something, for example, in our DNA, those are things that some of the things that we study in our blood. The other thing that we've been studying particularly around cove it is we can take that blood sample and we can actually sort the different kinds of cells that we have in our blood. It's kind of amazing and we can collect one particular one called a Mon- and lots of people. People want to study the different components of our blood because we can also ask do we have more or less of them? Is that affected? For example, by having certain diseases, what it is that those products are able to make. So we've been studying that and the other thing that we've been collecting is not anything related to blood. So we've also been trying to collect urine from individuals who have had covert to try to understand what we can measure. Measure in the urine that might help us understand why some people are having kidney complications and some people are not.

"And it's our Pleasure to welcome in a two time Emmy Award winning bucks. TV analysts a five time eh, NBA All Star. Did also play at Bella and won a national championship. That's Marcus Johnson here with us on the Zach Yelp show. Marcus appreciate the time How you doing? I'm doing bills. Everything is no good. All can play good benefits in basketball family from your lips to God's ears. Can't wait to see what's gonna happen in the N B. A bubble. I saw video back in February, You were wearing a Kobe Bryant jersey and you actually threw it down in your road. I'm still dunking at 64 years old. Have you been dunking at all during the pandemic? Or was that a one time thing at 64 district Cream donuts, Bad eye. You must have been nervous, right? Well, every year on my birthday, I do a dung just to see if I could still do it. I didn't plan on doing it this year. Just chill out at my son's a SIA. All over social media. They have got to do it contingent to the one in Sydney one in with that inside, And so, of course, I did a couple of warm up to feel pretty good and And we decided absent phone brought up two tackles. Omar, you know, taco fallen. Whoever jumped over him, Aaron Gordon. Whoever dumped over way last year Next year I'll be 65. That's the official retirement age. I've been retired. I'm Travis. You have to do one more 65 years old. I gotta pay the bed after that. I don't blame you. I don't. I can't even dunk right now. I can't imagine being able to dunk when you're in your sixties. Marcus Johnson here with us on the show. When we look at this MBA restart. We know that the Bucks are the best team in the league. From a record standpoint right now they're going to be the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. The's eight games inside of the bubble. What do you look for out of them where they could really ease themselves back into playing shape? The annex a great question. I was just kind of pondering that looking at the books. Play that scrimmage against neworleans the other night and You know, I just don't think that teams should put too much into the eight. Feeding games. It's a gradual buildup. You want to be planned your best basketball. Obviously when, when the playoffs start. This is such a weird. Praise the different type of experiment. Probably guys. And so, um, you know, see positives from the brother. I've seen not good things about in terms of Kind of fighting since, um, some difficulties against the product in here tonight, but, you know the season games Because boom Jose lost compete. He's gonna want these guys to come out and and just so effort show competitive competitiveness from Paris. But I'm not sure about the ones. The won and lost record is important. At this stage of the game. It's all about kind of a slow, gradual buildup. I've been exploding wants to play all secure here. When you look at the team from last year to this year. What do you see is the biggest difference as they even got better from what they were last year, which was impressive. Well, I mean, ways that it rest values that they're so what he has done that He's given Chris Middleton a breather at defense. Can't Chris I was just looking up Christian defensive record 107th overall, 22nd ranked small forward LeBron and collide As I said at the top. But Chris doesn't have to get all that energy trying to beat this Great three and the win. Clare and I could focus on his office and I was a result becomes one of seven or eight guys who was Trying to suit you both 20% from the three point line, stick to the set plus from the field and monitor it from the people that I think a 20 point today. Yes, I think that's direct benefit to Chris Middleton. Eric Bledsoe also, let's not forget him, Master. He struggle big time last couple of years in the playoffs and honestly, stuff a big farm of the playoffs. Uh, this year, he seemed to be a lot more comfortable in his basketball scared now. It is kind of getting a late start based on tested positive and them in quarantine and all that stuff. How quickly he could kind of get back into a rhythm and flow going to be a big difference. But today I think this team has gotten even better, but local tradition of Robin Has really been a great great move. But John forced our president breaking Robin Lopez, and now we've got two bent beak gets standings and leave so I think the defense has been even better than the great detective team from last season. Marcus Johnson here with us it Zaki help show on CBS Sports radio doing a little bubble breakdown on the Milwaukee butts nationally. The big question about Chris Middleton is. Can the Bucks win it all with him? Be in the Bucks. Second best player. He's a two time All Star. Give me the local feel on that. Our people still concerned locally about Middleton be in that number to peace and winning the championship this year. Right here is where you go. I could go to a barber shop in the hold of the brothers give Ah, little about depended on Chris have the huge games but In terms of inside basketball people, people that have watched Chris closely like myself. I really believe that Chris, it's all about his confident being an all Star to the second consecutive D up really? Helps his belief in himself as being one of the elite players in the league and kept in one of the shooters in the league. And you couple that with the fact that he comes back, he's getting guns for arms and get this definition I've never seen before. His body status. Probably way dog looks really good, really in great shape of the Kalpoe talked about his explosion and bounciness coming back after the four months off was really, really surprised. So he's really putting the work that during this time off to come back and make himself I've been so on. But with president mentally I think that way you get tomato last year, the average with just 14 points in the field, and he left. How Laurie, pending for a big cheque of those minutes in that six game lost to the crap. You have to be enough to love. So you've got a lot to prove, but I think Based on what I'm looking at changes of his body where he is physically brave is right. But I think he's ready to make that statement. When I look at the Eastern Conference, I really do fully expect Milwaukee. To get to the finals. They were in that one seed spot last year did not get there When you look at the Eastern Conference this year, who's the biggest challenger for the Bucks when the season resumes tomorrow night? It's really interesting. You get him some. I think three really legitimate. Even the Miami that mix also, you can't count out exposure and then the butler as your lead gap, but I think there's still a little bit godly hero of none. And guys like that. And then he began by making just a little bit young and that, Betty, but I really believe that Celtics man. I mean, people talk about the Raptors, who I respect about. Nick Norris is a great coach. Brad Stevens was great, but one through four in terms of scoring and issues and problems. You know Jason Taylor planted Kemba Walker is the number one option. That's two through four group these guys to produce and I think about taking on like the game, and that's the most since that Golden State a couple of years ago, but most just like second most 1995 in terms of looking for and then when Gordon Hayward is your fourth option, going going home. What is your fourth option? And then we talk about a container my greatest been, but then this Dylan Brown watching his footwork. Watching the lip bruised stands the finishes in traffic. He's a guy that could be a real problem for team like the book had been. The wild card would be market smart. Distant Jabba, even though Marcus Smart Sixthree export out of 16 11 Marcus Smart office of players and we know how much she just underneath their skin. And so he's a guy that has given me honest as much trouble as anybody scoring effectively and officially against it, So I said that and then the two big catch I mean the pick and roll for five hours straight that Boston life's run. Those two guys found business cancer, pounded it inside a greatjob getting into the paint and score of them that I'm not gonna puke my shot and roll that movies have private medical himself. I really believe that Celtics to me that they're not deed. I think both those four score that they have been a lot of pressure on the Milwaukee ways that do the Middleton. "So Tom Thibodeau is gonna be the head coach of the next. Here's our guy. Stephen A. Smith, Our first take host was on return to the MBA, and he discussed the positives and negatives. Of the Knicks hiring Fido. Nevertheless, nobody can argue that Davidow has the most successful resume it available coaches that one open market he's one about 59% of the games. You know the job you did in Chicago. We noted he sold it to the postseason first time in like a decade for like, 13 years. We know that he's with one could easily argue whether not Doc Rivers would be a champion as a head coach had it not been for top Thibodeau being his assistant. In Boston back in 2008. Plants grown throughout Mexico South America southwestern United States, and the Canary Islands off the coast of Spain. The male Cockatiel plays its own unique role in nature, but it's the wingless legless female that interests dye makers. If you go looking for her, you won't find her vibrant red bounty on display. The female Koch Neal's grey exterior is covered in a white powder that protects her from predators as well as the scorching sun. In order to harvest the Koch Neil, the prickly pear pads are cut and brought to factories so that the bugs can be pulled out and processed, but it takes some serious people power. Approximately seventy thousand continentals are needed to create just one pound of die. That's a little less than half a kilo. Once harvested bugs are dried ground and mixed alcohol, solution or other compounds like borax. They give way to a vibrant long-lasting die that can be used to make colors from scarlet purple to pink to Peach. have been used to color everything from textiles to pottery, since the Neolithic period or New Stone Age with the majority, sourced from vegetables, plants and trees. Coveted by the wealthy. The Royal Family is in the artist's crossed Europe. This die created fertile ground for contention. Those cumbersome and secretive production methods certainly made Carmen expensive. The car itself was an explosive part of Carmen's mystery and popularity. We spoke with Amy Butler. That's why it was prized. When industrialization arrived in the mid eighteen hundreds, the demand for textiles increased dramatically and created a need for more cost effective dies. Chemists began to use petroleum and coal to formulate synthetic ones ultimately reducing the need for the Cockatiel bug. The shift towards synthetics pushed Carmen to the background, but it didn't disappear, and now it's making a comeback. Showing up on ingredient lists for anything from cake POPs to lipstick. Greenfield said when reports started linking synthetic grads to cancer and hyperactivity, and as people started taking an interest in natural foods in general, the market for catch. Mail ballot surge places Postal Service under spotlight

"Last year the United States postal service delivered one hundred forty three billion pieces of mail this year the postal service to deliver tens of millions of ballots due to health concerns around the crown of virus outbreak police that's the plan the states have shifted their primaries to using mail in ballots on a large scale for the first time the U. S. P. S. it's been struggling there been problems with delayed delivery of completed ballots and requested mail in ballots that never appear sometimes it's been a handful of ballots sometimes been hundreds the USPS faces a huge budget shortfall thousands of workers have tested poet positive for cover nineteen and the president has called the agency a quote joke joining me now to look at what's behind the recent problems and what they mean for the election in November is Ryan McCarthy's reporter and editor who covers elections at ProPublica Ryan welcome thanks for having me great to be here all right so I'm going to use the word unprecedented speed you seem a lot a lot but is it accurate when it comes to the number of mail in ballots that American voters will be casting this year totally accurate you know in twenty eighteen about a quarter of Americans orders castor ballots by mail this year based on estimates from election experts in some states up to fifty percent could vote by mail this year so half the state's roughly had go by mail rates last year of under ten percent did you think about that increased state and local election officials have to build these large really complicated logistics operations at a time when there's a pandemic at a time when they're under budget pressure on the state level and a time when the US postal service itself is under huge pressure and and budget pressure itself so I want to be clear about this president trump has said in a statement that has been debunked repeatedly that mail in ballots would be substantially fraudulent that's not we're rich you're reporting on it isn't about any kind of fraud real or made up what are the issues that you have the issue that you've been diving into sure so we spent several weeks looking at whether or not a cash strapped severely diminished US postal service which as you said it's become a political football on a target of president trump could rise to the challenge of delivering an unprecedented amount of mail in ballots this year tens of millions in in the picture that we got in part from the US postal service track record which was not totally promising did they think they know about the US postal service is that after years of plant closures and cutbacks it's really not living up to its own delivery goals particularly for first math class mail which is how most election ballots are sent it has not hit any of its goals for first class mail in five years and according to a recent inspector general report the US postal service delivered ninety five percent of election mail on time last year which presents actually pretty good but if you think of four to five or six percent of ballots being delayed international mail in election then you get considerable chaos and it is also worth noting that in some of the work lowest performing areas of the country for election Malin twenty eighteen including in swing states like Florida Ohio and stuff like that almost eighty four percent of election mail was delivered on time so that's a huge difference that actually could be proved pivotal and I think election officials and voters this there isn't a widespread acknowledgement that the US postal service has been struggling and may not be capable of performing to the level that most people simply because let's talk about Ohio since you mentioned Ohio specifically there were problems in Butler County during the primary on April twenty eighth what happened yes so in Butler County which it would actually have been affected by some of the plant closures I talk to you about eight two US postal service employees showed up in the office the local director elections there this was three days after the deadline to count ballots it really is a tray of three hundred and seventeen open ballots that were too late to be counted and essentially those ballots have been sitting in a U. S. postal service warehouse uncounted for two weeks in the context here is that Ohio's election was crashed some of the rules that once were set up by the state legislature went against the advice of election officials and voting rights advocates and there had been such bad delays in mail delivery that the secretary of state Republican warned voters and pushed not only for the US postal service to add staff to process balance but also to make sure that ballots all ballots from Ohio voters were processed at at Ohio mail facilities in northwestern Ohio in cities like Toledo because of this wave of plant closures mail within two to three day process and Detroit it turns out was hit by some really bad code related delays with malice like a lot of places around the country and so so the Butler County incident was reflective of what's been happening in in a handful of states if your primary where there is this sort of circle of blame between the US postal service and local election officials were kind of baffled why did their ballots are not getting to voters in in some cases it's because of poorly conceived election operations in cases it seems to be U. S. postal service there in some cases it seems to be a mixture of the two

"The new graphics that look how would you leave for a week or two veterans much better welcome to the jump I've been to multiple ring ceremonies just not mind other teams have gotten their rings gotten along let's get for that one time they gave him a ring though so that's good Richard at Ford Twenty game and just three quarters of action last night is this the start of VP campaign I though Jimmy Butler hasn't been sleeping much this past week he has a new baby a little girl which had been keeping him from his other new baby the Miami Heat originally none of this was supposed to overlap the baby was supposed to come during the preseason but babies even babies born under pat right alias Richard Watch not stick to schedule and so two of the most important ventures of his life starting simultaneously as he missed the first three games the regular season by last night though both mother and child were home and happy allowing Butler's career with the heat to get off to a rollicking official start here's a little peek into Jimmy's mine that pre-game on undertaker as walking once the ball tip Butler wasted no time driving in for the heat I bucket and many more after that he would score twelve of Miami's first eight points and then just kept going from there this cross on Tyrone Wallace not nice there are also plenty of moments like this Jimmy voluntarily taken Cam Reddish elbow to the face to draw the call so much rent somewhere allows Donna Butler has a reputation for wanting to be eighteen. Alpha and that's certainly earned but he is never among the league leaders in usage he has a track record of leaving room for his teammates also flourish and last night that teammate was tyler hero who broke out with a nineteen point second quarter name hero was just an absolute marksman this make make make you would finish the twenty nine points the most scored by a heat rookie since dwayne Wade did it in two thousand and four now afterward hero played that part down but obviously you're hitting any of Wade's records just four games into your rookie season things are going well for you there was one damper on last night's game trae young who had gotten off to absolutely see swing start this season left in the second quarter with that ankle sprain you're watching now fortunately follow up evaluations this morning found no significant injury young didn't even need an MRI and he is expected back next week Butler is expected back next game like every parent in the world is work routine will now be a juggle butler he won't miss any more time and said his new role as a dad we'll give him even more purpose I saw looking at live different a long time ago but definitely get it way differently now aw I feel like every time I leave the house overtime card and someone do anything inside your home so I look forward to having that feeling for the rest of my life Butler realizes he's still got a bunch of sleepless nights ahead of him but as he showed last night his game is fully awake and ready for a run in Miami skin son out there you really upset with the higher it's like some days McMenamin hand Jimmy butlers faith Dave is the most your and I'm pointing out the is it not funny if you pointed out I wanNa know what you think about Jimmy Butler on court action how do you think he fits in with the heat I think he fits in great one they're looking for an Alpha right so I think that's great and the second part about it is that they're couple of places that you can go where you have to like fit into Ino- that you'RE GONNA fit San Antonio Miami Pat Riley top so when you go there you know that this is what about me this amount be coming in and fitting in and I think Jimmy can relinquish some of the kind of stuff that might have followed him showing up in a place he wanted to be but I think there was a personnel they're feeding around him the way around he could have been the third cog with the Lakers potentially you know had they gone down that road you could have returned to Philadelphia and played part of that system but he got to be the guy down in Miami and now they have some younger pieces that are fighting alongside him clearly as the Betas even someone who is Alpha personality like down waiters says you know we don't he's basically been out of the picture based on this from the standpoint of Yeah no I'm saying Dan waiters issues don't seem to revolve around Jimmy Butler they seem separates and dealing with coaching staff here is no longer suspended he was spending some time even after his one game suspension he was spending some time away from the team he has returned to the team as of yesterday we don't know when he will be back wikipedia entry and all the correct information on that same point is though the team has made it clear that this is all about Jimmy Butler this year and he is not running within being attack Errand with thus far it seems like he is trying to find a role that will help everyone else you know you could save you want about him but he has the work ethic and he has the you know the want to be the Guy Layton Games leading score for the fourth quarter last year for the Phillips Seventy sixers when you're talking about a group that is still trying to figure out who they are it's really nice to have that piece in place already so it's like when the game's tight we know who the guys are and we decide to play hard as Bamako bio or just winslow or tyler hero for the first three quarters and then hit over to Jimmy what a great situation and that's the thing that I think they're going to miss in Philly we're not gonNA talk about too much but it's like that lasts five minutes Jimmy Butler time right it was not Tobias Harris Time and it's not Ben Simmons time and it wasn't Joel embiid time Jimmy Butler time and so yes to being a place like you said where Hey Jimmy it's yours you're not in Minnesota anymore you're not you're not could I ask to be something in Philly this is yours go in for all the authorities idea to him when he was in Philly last year when I was cover them in the playoffs every single post game press conference which was a huge part of the play-off experience guys he was sitting next to Joel embiid Joel embiid had a tough playoffs last year missing some time and dealing with the knee injury and all that stuff and some sickness and Jimmy was right there to take the heat to be maybe a bodyguard of perhaps a buddy for embiid that's leadership maybe oh and there's a reason you're on a sports show not acing I was backing up your point about damn waiter saying it was not Jimmy issue it was a totally Britt issue and and look to your point about the team fitting into team culture I think when you go to a place like a heat and your Jimmy Butler he doesn't have to us because the things that he's had issues with guys don't play as hard as me right that's one of his issues in Minnesota right he's like guys don't know who they are and who they're supposed to be on the team that was another issue kids and the timber wolves both of those are always taking care of on a Pat Riley team playing hard everyone knows their wall but the one thing about being an alpha and in the greatest ones is that that I've played with and watch they raise people's level you don't just complain about it and they're like you're right they're not playing hard so we're going to get them out and we're going to build around you and we're going to get people in here that do play hard as you because that's the standard that we want to but that was never the case in the last few places there were like all right well we're going to get you out well that was the the case it didn't seem in Minnesota and Philadelphia back up what Dave said yes Joel embiid sat with me a month ago and said I wish Jimmy Butler still on this team I wanted them to resign him he as we could have been partners for life the way he spoke at that so I think he did help his teammates wired video right during one of the playoff games of him trying to back up and up Joel so I think he's done that I think obviously he's a strong personality but that strong personality fits in in Miami and they do want him to be that late game guy so him wanting to be the guy uh isn't a problem there either in the end you gotta find the place that fits the pig that you are Richard is still looking for that place maybe it's here maybe it's not we'll find out the rest of the show they stay with us because coming up the mavericks pulled off a tough road win in Denver despite their duo not having the best night so we're GonNa ask what you learned about the mavs last night income chime in on twitter we'll hear what these guys have to say I oh here's our distant replay from this date in two thousand one featuring our guy the jumps own Tracy McGrady teammates got you take a look where we're going to get real "It's really weird. Well that one night where you heard it bouncing off the shower walls like you're in the locker room, and you could hear that coming out of the shower. You just like I can't I can't believe it. But anyway about the Sixers. So that low as a story today. So this is this is a little bit interesting. So last week we had Ramona Shelburne is back from attorney leave and was on the pod this week. And I thought she was great on the pod. Didn't you Andrew Han? Yeah. I thought he was she was wonderful. So anyway, she story with a terrible. Wow. Should I be? Yeah. Jackie. Okay. So anyway, anyway, she has started with about. A little bit of discord with Jimmy Butler and Zach Lowe has a story today where quotes Brown? Yeah. He quotes bread Brown goes on the record Zak about, you know, listen if you're if you seek players. Commentary in a team meeting. You have to be prepared for the players to say what they feel that. It was no big deal. And basically, the thrust of Zack's story is that it's an imperfect fit between the three stars that they have and they're going to have issues combine them, but it's not something that that is something to worry about and think that they're going to break apart. I think there's differing opinions there even within the team whether whether that's true. And I think obviously Zaka speaking from a standpoint of part of the organization, and I feel like Ramona and woah jar expressing viewpoint of another part of the organization. Jackie. How do you? How do you sort all this out? Yeah. It's it's I feel for Brett the one of the quotes of the year was in this story when I gotta find it here. I should have been more prepared. What he said something about oh, I this is Brett Brown. The coach of the Sixers and he says, I don't enjoy feeling like a waiter. Like, I'm serving each of the food. That is a great quote at times you have to be means touch. Joel needs in touch bend needs to be posted Jimmy needs to play. I mean that is a great quote this story by everyone should read today. And I thought he hit on something in particular that I've been wondering about because I look at Ben Simmons. And I just think he's so talented, but we all know, we all know, he's got you can't stubbornly refuse to shoot a shot outside of ten feet. Like at has to happen. It has to be he's gotta find a way to do that. But one of the statistics in Britain Zach store that really jumped off the page at me because it's something that I had noted when I've been watching them play is this Simmons has run only eleven point seven picking. Roles per one hundred possession this year last year, guys twenty six point two pick and rolls per one hundred possessions. Now, you gotta be kidding me. And Ben Simmons to his credit never says anything. So we hear Jimmy Butler, we huger well puff. And this kid is saying nothing and those numbers. I just read you he has he's the one that had some beef here. Right. And we've already heard you complain about how he wasn't giving. His preferred post touches. And by the way sense like shack. I'm sorry. I didn't mean don't you think Joel is gonna be like a little bit. I love Joel I love shack. But they're both stream of conscious is they're always going to tell you what they're thinking. Happy or sad. And so get used to it. Right. Well, you know, how an a game you see a coach go crazy on the sideline get technical. And sometimes all of a sudden the fifty fifty calls start going their way since Jo well said that his touches are up and he's been dominating. He had another giant game last night. They lost to the wizards. And as a quick aside here, the wizards of changed their lineup in the wake of John wall having season ending surgery. They've made out porter the sixth man and is playing terrific in that role. And even though they're out without Markeith Morris. They've won in Oklahoma City. And then pounded the Sixers at home last night sample size still too small, but Scott, bro. Also back to back with this against the same team..

We do an Elway tall and some parakeets afterwards. So my question to you is if you could eat only one breakfast for the rest of your life. What would it be you have to stick to it? There's no changes. No, nothing. Like, if you're gonna say party say open, I'll have bananas one day has to be the same thing every day. Yeah. Could be porridge with bananas every day. But you can't change economy's been jam actually. Sorry. Very strict on the rules today. Tacoma shows it's really hard. Don't know. Elise. Don't say beans, just like. I wouldn't every day kind of beans every day. I think I would either have the millennial avocado on toast poached egg all a really like shocked Shuka Osam really middle class. But I really like shut you. How you having that every day for don't cook. Cooking. Is this a match open your fridge this? They're ready made in his in the fridge because quite actually warm maybe stick it in the microwave, and it's done. How about this open the microwave, and it's all lovely. You can't change the rules. "Are you ready? I'm so ready for big question is better than last week's yet is also pretty pretty poor. Favorite win meal. The big question is a segment where I go on the internet and signed a load of things that I love and find interesting get a question from a firm over to you guys into markets and to me and we provide them on. So let's go. The headline is woman blocked from creating online account because she has an offensive surname. She's not the only one. Some of these names are mazing. Natalie wean says she was blocked from creating online accounts because of her name. I think a lot of websites do this because they think people are just having a joke in whatever another man go in touch it. It was Phillips born same problem, Matt Cummings. Always as a trouble. Mike Dickman circles Kylie medic. And the best what my favorite, Brian one Coon wine come Mr. winkle. Can you ever be in a scenario where someone has to say that straight face, like checking into Hello? Mr.. Welcome. There's just so many amazing moments that pass must have in their life and you spell out your name. So that's why comb. Yeah, w. a. n. k. u.. So Mr. one is that one. Makes. Yes, it is. I mean, we find it funny. They probably hate they absolutely ater. They could change it. They've got to have a good sense of humor. I just feel for people that have a surname that has ever been hard or first name very lucky that my name is quite like us to Marcus, Matt Viney. It's quite easy to to spell. So my question to you is, what is the most for strating thing about the internet? I'll go first because I as a sprawling question, mine is passwords because every site after go on, you have to create an e password. And each site has grown like special only have one special character or you have to have a capital letter. So you have to change of each one but was the solution. Then of course, Aleutian issue rise isn't as your fingerprint. Why don't we doing that on my own a lover. I'll try and do everything my phone because I can just do it. My issue. What you're forgetting there is your phone that you have the device that has got that piece. Technology. It's not the internet is not. The inset doesn't just go, fuck it. We're going to create is scanners and everyone's laptops. All of a sudden just going to have an ice cap on it is the piece of equipment, but they need to do something about this more because then you know what's going to happen once this is and fingers is going to be a lot more like those mopeds on the street. Just gonna take your hand. They are. The data then they can have if they've scandal ROY, they're gonna have access to all DNA. And what do you think it's the most frustrating thing about the internet? I am with you on the processing does annoy the hell out as well fucking hate having to reset password, but I go to get into young gonna stay passwords, not having wifi on a plane. Let's see. Good one. Why haven't you done that yet? What we get an underground? Why can't cable on some planes extortionate? Yeah, you have to pay for an as extortion and guys that just about wrapping things up for this episode of low expectations. You have been listening to Mappin Viney and up in case you forgot on since. And I've been joined by the lovely, Marcus Butler. You will hear from us very soon probably in a week's time, and if you don't know, we do have a patron page where you can support the podcast that's WWW dot patriot, and Ford slash expectations as lots of cougar awards and things over probably heard the plug by now. So I won't go to. And subscribing wherever you listen to to the podcast you can do on acres or whatever you listen to them. And yeah, you'll see us very soon. Bye. Bye. Goes.

"I remember when I interviewed him back when he was a rookie he said, I want guys to come to me in Cleveland. Obviously, he decided to do the opposite, but nonetheless, well, also imagine he realized that LeBron couldn't get guys really to come to him in Cleveland angles for you also. So who was the person that wanted to laugh the hardest Jimmy Butler was go ahead. There's somebody who laughs all the time who just down this to be ROY. Derrick rose is not a laugher, but I feel like Derrick rose might have the wisdom to look at that and be like, actually, this is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. Today's number. Is ted. That is how many points LeBron James's Lakers beat the warriors by last night in the preseason voted. Finally, watching this Lakers team in action leave you thinking they could actually be contender. Good said his game was in the what the pre pre seizes. These. Let me tell you something about the preseason. I generally believe the preseason doesn't matter, and that I drafted that do Ronald Jones in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers my fantasy team because I was like, hey, to preseason, it doesn't matter executives say, I say that say that I don't know if the preseason bad is not, but I don't believe that this team is going to be very good. I don't think they'll be bad, but I don't think they're going to be very good, and you're not gonna convince me of that in this game. I think that could be a top-five seat in the west, I think could be the fifth seed at least what I do agree that Golden State Warriors, man, they don't care about the regular season. So the preseason isn't the greatest judge of how much effort. Either side is gonna give what I liked about this game. Brandon Ingram standing next to Kevin Durant does sell me on Brandon Ingram as a person. Like I get why that dude is someone the Braun might be interested in..

"And the news yesterday by me at that time I come in here and I was just like, look, man. If his tests, they'll start stepping it up. In fact, I brought the whole thirteen out here. We did a whole shelves best show daily. I'm cat. I Andrew Wiggins and this. I don't know if you are, but I know that I am not lie know that I am the most God gifted player on this team. I know I am those towns declare on this team even if my performance may not show it. Sometimes you don't think. Deep down. I wanna think that, but you do play hard dupe patronize me. Don't. Jimmy Butler. Bomani Jones is the first name because the timber wolves have canceled practice today after the chaos of yesterday which included Butler yelling at Minnesota's, GM's Laden you need, you can win without any also shouted about Karl Anthony towns and Andrew Wiggins. The bleep they soft. Let's listen to the man himself. This is true. I didn't go at those. One of them came at meet, try cat. Cat came at meat. We're up in practice. He's anybody can get this work. I said, do it to me. That's all that I said. I said every time, I guess, wished out on you. Am I being tough? Yeah. Yeah, that's why I am not the most talented player lose the most not cat, who's God gifted player on the team's wigs, we've got the longest arms. Biggest hands can jump the highest running facets, but like who plays the hardest me. This is a mazing. Where do you wanna start? Basically, Jimmy Butler San noble music from the sucks. No one news it from the suckers, right? He's declared play fourteen full of sucker because the only way that you can put yourself as he did reportedly in this practice is if you believe that you yourself are surrounded by suckers. He's tried to get out of there in large part because he believed they, he is surrounded by suckers and I've tried to figure out where to go after that because there's so many different places we can go. But think about the image of Jimmy Butler walking in late and our life. He says, y'all got me for an hour. You points to Lou all, dang, and James Nunnelee Jerry Terrell a two way contract guy. Exactly those guys on the floor and the my favorite detail vote is that the June besides Jimmy Butler is mostly quiet. It is that man with a megaphone and Karl Anthony towns to your description of alleged sucker schnaps. Those in confront him does not go back at him. The very thing that Jimmy is daring him to do. He does not. Apparently what of the reports was that they huddled up at the end of practice across talking about how people need to learn to keep their emotions check. Is this your king right? Like I feel like Jimmy Butler did this is seemingly partially the play it right, but even if it wasn't, he's basically looked at the two of those dudes or like, are these your kings? Right? Because the question I feel like Minnesota has to ask themselves assigned for trading Jimmy Butler what they should have done. All right. After Jimmy Butler is gone, you have built your team. Mm-hmm. Around these dudes and not. Now, one of them said a word we Jimmy Butler wealthy and pulp the whole house that said, my other favorite detail is that the end Andrew Wiggins did give him dab by hand? Yes, he did sort of maybe got Jimmy was trying to go for, but but man, this dude, Karl Anthony towns is twenty two. He should not be a lost cause. But at this point after you see how people are talking about you, Karl Anthony towns. You need to come out here and say something to the people because your image is so rulings, right? It's too late. He didn't need to say something to the people. He needed to say something to that dude right there when that do who was about five inches shorter than towns somewhere. Dead zone was like, I'm gonna guard you and I'm gonna shut you down and you're kicking the ball back out while. No, it can't be that he's beating the first team with dudes off the street and the carcass of Luo. Dang, yeah. No, no, no, no, no, this is all been. This is actually my favorite part of this. Jimmy Butler. Again, this interview with Rachel Nichols with what his read is that Ditto thought about all of this, watch that..

"It'd be staying there, but he just can't stand these two guys that really it. I think the way his ego is if he could be responsible for Minnesota shipping out towns and Wiggins, and by the way, good luck trading Wiggins. Then I think he might stay. I really do. It's never gonna happen. It's purely thought exercise, of course, in that whole, that whole organizations just a cluster f apparent like teams who are calling about Jimmy Butler, don't even know who they should contact because of how screwed up the front offices. Yeah. I mean, he said in his, I mean in his interview with Rachel Nichols, I'm, you know, I did read syllabi excerpts, and he said, you know, at that towns was the most talented and Wiggins is you know the most was that most, oh, God gifted or something like that. And then then Rachel said, you know is this is respect essentially, and he, let's be honest. It's not not fix our people who aren't committed to winning. So I are. I mean, I guess that's still jobs what you're saying that contentiously Butler wants those God-given admittedly, talented players gone for more, you know, more try hard to players that may not be as is that what you're kind of implying very much and I want him to end up in Toronto so badly. I, I wanted to end up in Toronto so badly. 'cause I for Lowery. Right? I, I think they have a replacement there and van believe anyway in Lowery's very much, not happy with the raptors after they treated the Roseanne. Who is his best friend, right? I just think it would be so interesting and I can't even imagine I know about is not a hundred percent of what he was, but if your opposing player and and you're looking at this raptors team and the starting lineup is you know, vanity. We'll forget about that because the point guard position doesn't really matter defensively at this point the NBA, but Jimmy Butler Kawai Leonard Hanna, Nobie and Serge Ibaka and the starting lineup, holy. There. Amazing. There's. Yeah, I think an OB is at some point. He's just gotta figure it out and just break out so hard. But, oh, I just wanted to happen. I wanna see the dynamics between him and and Leonard too, because I do think I do think Leonard could actually benefit a little bit from playing with Butler and being held to those standards. Either be good or just absolutely horrible lie coli being, you know, in that Spurs system would take well to some of that needling, but I'm not sure how it works. It'd be interesting. The other thing about the upshot for the raptors be, hey, you know what? If they do this, they've and it doesn't work out. They get to clean their hands of both those guys, but just it's a, it's a reset button. You know, right after the clean break and they can just go right into the rebuild around Anna Novi and Benfleet and those guys and whoever else they draft. Yeah, I see what you're saying in there is there's some value I guess to it being clean, but I think that's that's the real only benefit there because nobody signing Toronto like it's just a great city, but no known gay players going to play in Toronto. No superstar. And so you here you have to build through the draft. I don't know, and I'll tell you what a team led by vanfleet and in OB and searcher Baca. They're going to be selecting high in the draft. Very true, especially with, like you said, van beliefs, offense leaves or leaves something to be desired for..

"Welcome to the underdog episode. Number ninety. Three. I'm Chris del Joan balance. You Khanakala what's going on Chris doing well with you him in. I cannot complain a lot of really fun stuff going on with the company. A lot of fun stuff going on in sports. Starting off with the shenanigans that are Jimmy Butler and the Minnesota Timberwolves. I love this story like Jimmy Butler, man. He does not want to be heard, but he's handling it the right way. Like, I mean, he shouldn't be people, but, but. That's fair. I, I hear the, I hear the questioning in your tone, but it's not the Andrew bynum at least like went bynum was in Cleveland and he didn't wanna play for them anymore. He would just show up and he would take nothing but like three quarter court shots. He would literally shoot the ball every single time. You touched it until they told him to go home. Jimmy Butler showed up and he just tried to kick everyone's ask and bio counts. He did. That's funny in the story that came out about it after from one of the players that he wasn't even in shape, but he was still just murdering everyone he subs in. So the story is obviously he comes in late to practice. He jumps into a scrimmage with the third team, and then he and the third team just woke up on Karl Anthony towns and Andrew wagons into starters, essentially, and basically blur can be heard just yelling expletives at causing out at the not the owner, Glen Taylor and or no, the GM GM got Taylor GM and, and tips and you know, essentially towns backing him in and apparently he's like, you won't take me. You won't take many kicks it back out. It's just on real. What happened. And I mean, it was performance art and by all accounts, Rachel Nichols is up there. You know, why would she be up there? She's based in LA. I mean, yeah, it was Butler's. What should I practice or was in his pack as. But you this was going to be a show and Jimmy Butler his an expert in funding on show. Yeah, I don't do. Did you see the interview with Butler and Nichols afterwards? I miss that chills come out. Yeah, Butler was a. He was very calm talking about everything, but he's like, you know, I'm just I'm a competitive person and all of it came out at one time and speaking to the towns thing. He he said exactly what you said. He's like towns was back and people down, but I but I called him out and he's a, he's like, give it to me or something like that. And every single time he switched out onto Butler. He passed the ball every his cats not made for that, like he's not. He is so not Jimmy Butler. And it's interesting to think what if he was Jimmy Butler? Because if he had that like killer mentality and just a desire to destroy people on every single play, we're talking about a guy and no hyperbole, maybe with his town atop five center and NBA history. Oh, man. I mean he could have been an Anthony Davis. I think we saw Anthony Davis take that turn a little bit last year down. The stretch is most competitive for the first time like ever. And you know, the weirdest thing about this whole thing was just how bizarre it was like. All right. So Butler obviously wants to get traded, but he's yelling, you f ING need me at Scott late in the GM waving and like, what does that even mean? Though? Like I mean, you want to stay. Does that mean Laden should be embarrassed about the team put together? Like what? What's he trying to say? Because if he says you hit me yells back like, yeah, you're right. We're not treating you. I don't know. I found it all very bizarre. I read that as this should be my team. Like forget this other stuff. This is not Andrew Wiggins team. This is not Karl Anthony towns team. This is my team, get them. Oh, so he wants them out any walks amac to of Minnesota? I was. He does not wanna sign in Minnesota onto. I don't know that he wants to. I don't know if it's a location thing, but I, he just hates Karl Anthony towns, Andrew Wiggins. He hates them. So you think that he would? They would be three signing..

"I think it's really interesting because how we portray ourselves on social media compared to what we are in real life, and it goes with being self awareness, things at that because I think we do so many different personalities, of course, different types of social media, and I wanna ask you if you're going on this show, what kind of personality do you think you would other while? Would you use the same picture of yourself, or would you use one from when you're eighteen or So so. firstly, I completely agree with you about the people displaying different hand, a wheel, sociopaths. Joke. Joe, I'm one not coming for Shane to not claim in anything about sociopaths. Gonna go into mosques. Is that where you're going. For people, listening just reference pulling them all. I agree with you though. People do display different elements of the personality across different social media platforms, but as kind of the beauty of them in a way that allows you to do what you what you post onto its, for example, commit Instagram, completely different. The platform, I guess, can be at stake for providing that. There are many people I know from social media who are completely different, how real life you have announced. My question was a question who would be? Yeah. Yeah, that was. That was nice. I was like a shame that was a good dissertation at the start setting it all up. He would you be? Are you going to be the Marcus Butler twenty eighteen? Or would you be someone else? Well, I would be a character word. Close pets win. No, because take context of why do out of it. I don't think I would go on one of those shows if that show was laid out to me. I personally don't think I would never have wanted to be on a TV show as me or trying to make as a reality TV star. I was just thinking it'd be more fun to kind of play games of people is weird one isn't it? I mean, I've never catfish someone, but in the context of the show is entertaining. I would put my best self over in my mind what I wish I could be has to be realistic. So I'm not like, oh, I've written five films and directing must seek for next year, right? I've just signed a deal to write TV show, and my band is releasing its first now, but very soon. So your just go in like, I'm fucking great. You wanna talk to you. I'm cold as you're saying. Interesting because you're not like that in real life. Now, what does that come across? Like? Is that kind of like narcissistic? Brag would depends what you're looking for our. That's how I know you because it does come across quite Brady. Of course. That's the first time someone's met. You imagine, war camp summit. You meet someone in the street and you're by the way of TV show coming up and running for about being a band. What about you? How's your life going? It sounds Fatkin of x. looking for validation is I, I'm not happy for under our need you to say. Let's see. I'm becoming self wet on this podcast jetty, so that show leads in life. It was really interesting what you actually brought to my attention. Kanye west said recently about the way Twitter and Facebook and pretty much assoc meter works with the metric..

"I look at Brooklyn which Sean has been able to do in really grow at from from the bottom in now, are you willing to kind of jump the shark here and get a Jimmy Butler if that may be? Does that get you another player? Possibly. It's a lot of money you're going to have to invest in in with Butler. One hundred ninety million possibly on a new contract for player who minutes. Consistently ranks in the top ten. He's averaged thirty seven minutes the last five or six years here. My concern is that what happens if Jimmy Butler does not like it there for the remaining six or seven months there? Because yes, you can have a handshake agreement there with the agent and the player there, but there's nothing binding. So now you are you recruiting him for you know that six or seven, six or seven months, and there's no sure shot that you're, he's another player is going to come. So now you are, if you're Brooklyn, he's your face your franchise. You have a lot of money invested in now you're possibly a playoff team, you know, in that maybe that back in at six to eight range, but that's, that's who you're you're married to with the clippers. You know, you'd have to probably got some of that young players draft. They've, you know, they've gone away. They had gone away from the velopment. Now they have some really nice young players that taking go out and develop and one or two, those guys would probably have to go. I think it would be interesting because some of those other players, Tobias Harris, the Avery Bradley's you know, guys like Lou Williams, possibly. There's a possibility that if the clippers are going to go get to max players next year, those those to those players won't be there anyway. So I think if you're looking at it from their perspectives that what our mindset isn't, I think. Maybe you become a little bit more aggressive, but it all goes back to, hey, we have the cap space to go out and get this player. This player really wants to come to Los Angeles or Brooklyn. We can fit him in with room in really do much to our roster and draft picks to keep on building this thing..

"Day window, or can you get it done that fast that the deals are. Going to be the same now than than they would be two months from now or a month from our weeks from now? Well, I think it's extremely rare to get a deal done and it feels like it's been three months and that a week since the Jimmy Butler. And just just circling back, you know, with with the kids situation back in. Two thousand seven. You know, Jason, you know, did not show for game citing migraine was a home gaming. It's New York, and that was in early December and he wasn't traded until the deadline in February. So that's three months, three months later. And that's how long it took to try to get the right deal. And eventually we got that with Dallas. You know, on the other end, having been part of the Carmelo Anthony process in two thousand ten little similar to to Jimmy Butler, but not as public Anthony showed up at training camp. You had a new general manager with Masai. That was the last weekend in September in that didn't happen in the trade didn't happen until MIO mid February. So I would you look at Minnesota where they are right now, you're, you're not gonna get the return back that you traded for him back in June of seventeen with. The rights to lower market in Zach, lean and Chris done. You have an owner who is been pretty up front as far as trying to get something done. Relatively soon here, you have teams that have started training camp, you know a week ago and you also have teams that the landscape in a league is changed so much that we're going into into a summer were half the teams that are going to cap space and are not willing to give up significant assets to go out in trade form where they can possibly sign them as a free agent. And I think if you're if you're Minnesota, you're trying to create a, you know, almost like a bidding war between teams that are over the cap coming into next summer, the Miami's of the world, Houston and try to get into a bidding war and I, you know, we, we don't see that happening right now. You know, the next thing we'll have will happen is of Butler. There is no deal to be made in, you know, when. A couple of days. And then what happens with Jimmy Butler in Minnesota's for showing up. And that's another issue of like, tap typical wants him to show up. He wants him to play. He wants to try to win with the group they have now. I think it will be a challenge to bring Jimmy Butler back into that locker room. There's a lot of animosity between he and their young star players, but I still think Tom thibodeau feels even with the dysfunction. The fact that they all don't really like each other don't like playing together, and there were a lot of things said in the off season and even in the lead up after the trade request. I still think Tom typical thinks his best chance of getting to the playoffs that he can still get to the postseason with these guys. And if he's let go at the end, the season, then he at least can say for his next job, I got Minnesota. The playoffs twice in a row after they missed for thirteen straight years. And I think he feels if they make a trade, they're not gonna get value..

"Much you could save. Welcome again to highly questionable this guy matching the watch with the way era is my father. Bobby, that's Michael Smith always matching. What do you like on the show today? Michael Crimea river, Tom Brady. Oh, wow. Quick officiant. Not only Bobby. The timber will need to tread Jimmy Butler from the athletic is reporting that Jimmy Butler has requested a trade that whatever the tension is. It's been reported between Karl Anthony towns, Jimmy Butler, Jimmy Butler wants out of there and you've seen in this age of player. Empowerment. You've seen since LeBron James had that controversial television show the when a guy is unhappy and a place you now have to trade him, especially if his contract is expiring at the end of the year, you have to get something for him. So when he requests the trade, he's got all the power, they're Minnesota. Ken, try and do it this year, go after the Golden State Warriors. One year would Jimmy Butler. But do you think that's enough with an unhappy? Jimmy Butler. You'll remember when the wolves had next in the west, that was fun. That was fast to yet. It's got the tree, Jimmy Butler. Also he walks for nothing all season and you don't want that given what you gave up to get him speaking of which if you're a timber wolves fan, don't be concerned about not getting equal value because you star player demanded a trade because when you got to push the cargo, you says, xactly being Chris done and the eighth overall pick which. Turned into lower remarketing, who's pretty good. So even though you may not get immediate great return for one of the best way players in the NBA right now, they're still hope that you get it. Right. The question is do have the guy in place to get it right, because they're also reports that the owner, Glen Taylor is concerned about whether you made a mistake given Tom, but, oh, complete control. The organizations that are that, oh, how great that the Ave. Great. Trade in mind, Jean Butler to the heat, four, Dwayne, Wade, going to timber wolves, man telling you that has really helped the timber wolves. You know, I'm telling you that's a hell of a deal. You selling it. That's right. That's right. What do you make of the report that Tom Brady would divorce Bill belly if it could Bella check is the way pronounces my father says, Bella cheetah, towns, different in his accent, this an Connor book. And there was a lot of interesting stuff in it and always apprising when the immortals are human. And the part that's most interesting about this is the idea that if this culture this team that is not about ego is always about team, you don't put anything head of the team than at the very top that food chain. These two guys would be feuding like this. It's just interesting. It doesn't mean much in terms of football. They've already traded away. The piece that has shown you in Garoppolo that they're going to stay together. But man is it interesting to see all of this playing out in front of us? Because if these temptations and contaminants can get these two guys with this success, then it can get anybody sign me up to work with somebody that I can't stand and be that successful. The Tom Brady show up to work today was the practice throw into -ironically number ten, Josh Gordon. Who basically is a bouquet of flowers that Bill Belichick has brought home to Tom Brady, Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time in large part because of his partnership with the greatest coach of all time. Bill Belichick one without the other is like cornflakes without the milk except that when you're looking at the number of times these two of one, do you not find it a little bit something to marvel at that they're sitting here saying to themselves, I'm responsible for your credit..
