"Pittsburgh pirates here, baby. Stephen a Smith, how are you, my friend? What's up, my brother, how are you? How's everything? I'm doing great. How's your shoulder? I didn't even know you had an operation. Yeah, man. What'd you do? Working out between lift and wage box and stuff like that. What does this teach you? And years of attrition tier to cuff, far too tier to bicep, frayed labrum and a bone fur. So I had a scope. This stuff like that. They told me I'm a be down for a few weeks, but I'll be better than ever in a couple of months. So hopefully that's right. You got to listen to me. The moral of the story is stop exercise. I'm serious. I can't do that. I can't do that. I got to exercise when I can take it a little lighter. I can do that, but I'll never stop. Do you used to play basketball, didn't you? Yes, sir. I played, I played at Winston Salem state university in North Carolina, division two basketball for the legendary clarence big house game. You know, I'm not just saying this to say this. Yours is the only sports show I really like. The particularly since what's his face isn't there anymore? But I don't want you to comment on that. But it really is because you give it a lot of thought, I can tell you prepared before the show. I don't know how you know all the stats and all the different sports, how you stay motivated and so forth. What do you do? Right. Well, I mean, first of all, you know, if you don't care, you can't expect the viewer and the listener to care. That's number one. Number two, I think that the ultimate if I had to tell you what one trade I would hope that has made the show successful and has kept it number one with sports wanting talk shows number one for the last ten years and counting. Is that our pride myself on being very, very fair. You know, a lot of times you and I have spoken and yes we do speak offline and we speak off the air and I've known you for years and obviously we talk and got a lot of respect and love for each other. Here's my attitude. You know, it's to make sure that everybody understands whether we agree or disagree that we're going to pay both sides. One of the things that I don't tolerate on first take and I'll give my bosses a lot of credit for this because they allow me to be in control of such things is that it's not going to be a one sided thing. You know, sometimes we get into political stuff. You're going to hear people from both sides. We're going to touch on sports angles. You're going to hear people from both sides. You've got people that have a capitalistic points of view like myself because I'm a proud capitalist. And then you have others that they could have been differently. We're going to hear both sides. So what I try and obviously I'm a black man and I want white folks to come on the show. I'm a man I wouldn't win to come on the show. The list goes on and on. I want people to look at the show and to make sure that at some point in time when they hear our dialog Benjamin back and forth that they hear some semblance of what's going on in their mind and what positions they represent and how they feel. That way, even if you hear a dissenting point of view, at least you're heard their side as well. That's incredibly important to me and I think that's what ultimately breathes the success for the show. Let me ask you about LeBron James. Sure. You know him well? I know him well enough. I mean, we have a communicated too much over the years, but obviously we've met and we've talked on several occasions in the past. There were years ago when I was very, very critical of him and as a result, he's been very reluctant to talk to me for safe, but he's always a gentleman. He's always respectful, but do we sit down one on one and talk anymore? No, that's not the case. How about Cantor Freeman? Do you know him? Vaguely. I mean, I've said hello and goodbye and pat and I covered his exploits on the basketball court, but I don't know him personally, however, I'm very familiar with this position and I'm very familiar with how adamant he has been against LeBron James. But let me ask you this. LeBron James, he makes a statement. They make it. Their own promo in which people like me took the position. What the hell are you saying? It's one thing that the difference of opinion you don't want to come back to America and he seems to have reversed course or at least clarified what he meant, which was I meant emotionally. Does that make sense to you? Right. Oh, I'm not really. I've been on vacation. So that's why people haven't heard me commenting about it. I'm most assuredly would have talked about it the next day. And basically said that that was a foolhardy statement on his part. Now I will tell you that LeBron James obviously is a phenomenal play in a phenomenal athlete and an incredible role model and a lot of different ways. But that doesn't mean we agree with everything that he says. And there have been occasions from time to time where he said stuff that was either ill advised or flat out incorrect. And I think in the plate in the case of Brittany griner, I mean, I don't know how you can deduce that. And we're not talking politics here from the standpoint of buy them as opposed to Trump Bush Clinton Obama or anybody else. But if you're the president of the United States, I'm quite sure that there are an abundance of prisoners that you want to get out of jail who may have happened to have been imprisoned by Russia. We, of course, we want Britney grinding back home and safe and a lot of people feel like the penalty against her is excessive. But to take for one second that the United States is not doing enough, I just think that that's a line that none of us as Americans should cross because we don't understand the intricacies that go along with all of that because we're just not in that stratosphere. And so for me personally, when I've spoken about the issue Mark and you know, everybody was talking about, let's get a home. Let's get a home. I'm a strong advocate on behalf of that. I desperately want her back in the United States, but I've also reminded everybody I said, are we sure it's wise to be as outspoken as we've been considering that we're talking about Vladimir Putin and this notion and I've said this as well. This notion that if it will LeBron James, instead of Brittany griner, that somehow LeBron James would have been home by now, I remind everybody again, we're talking about Vladimir Putin. You can't predict that with this guy. I mean, the world just do is telling everybody, I'm not doing anything when everybody was warned in the world that he's about to bomb. He's about to invade Ukraine. He did it anyway. And said that they provoked him and is lying to the public in Russia. I mean, you don't know what this guy is capable of. So again, when we say stuff like that, unless that's our level of expertise, all we can do is follow the administration and the State Department and follow their lead because that's where their expertise lies, not odds, and I think that LeBron James would have been wise to do the same, even though he wasn't speaking about Russia, he was speaking about how Britney Brian Brittany grinder must be feeling. I just think that all of us need to be careful because we don't know who might be listening and we don't know how it may force or compelled them to react. That's just my personal opinion about it. Can you stay over the break? Of course. Because I want to ask you a bunch of other questions. You're see that? Liv and I sat there. I mean, that's very intriguing what you just said

"Are you kidding me? He's trying to make the case his poll numbers are Obama Bush Clinton at the same time, that's completely flat out a 100% false. His poll numbers are historically low, Americans aren't buying what he's selling do your job. I've got this perennial mystery. I can not understand why people aren't back to work. This is, I know this is purely anecdotal, and I know you get tired of me saying this. And I'm sorry to be a broken record. I'm in this schedule or I'm rehearsing for this musical. Here in South Carolina. I'm going to be in Annie head going to get shaved in the next week or so. Brace yourself. If you watch online, it's rough. But I'm going to be a bald daddy warbucks. Rehearse at night, we get out at 9 or 9 30. I go to get some dinner. I want to go get a grilled chicken sandwich. That's typically my dinner when I'm trying to keep the weight off. Used to be a Big Mac or a whopper now to grilled chicken sandwich, good luck at any fast food location anywhere in this entire region of the country. I've given up. You might sit in the drive-through line behind one or two cars for 30 minutes. When you get there, they tell you that they don't have enough staff to even prepare your meal. And when you push them when you challenge them, they say we don't have enough people. Shines are up and places all over the upstate. Sorry, short staffed. People are not coming back to work in the service industry. And this I'm telling you, this is a giant issue. And nobody really talks about it. Nobody knows why. You can have all these different theories. The best theory I've heard is that people who didn't have to work for a year shaved up all the pandemic assistance money, they got a bunch of money in the bank, and they don't want to sling sling burgers for $15 an hour. Right now. Maybe they will at some point because the well is going to run dry. I don't know what it is. Don't go into a department store. Try to buy a pair of shoes in a department store. It's like it's like tumbleweeds. On the whole floor, nobody's there. Nobody's coming back to work. I mean, I'd say nobody. You know what I mean? There is a shortage of people taking honest.

"Kid coughed on by her classmates. I am so tired of this. Do what works for me. You do what works for you take on a public health crisis and we are never going to get out of this if we can not start collectively thinking about how our actions impact the people around us. She said one thing there. That's probably true. Did you catch what it was. We are never going to get out of this that that was the only thing she said that might very well be true now. Her argument is were never gonna get edifice if we don't give into all the new measures and give up all of our rights and up in the standards of society. of course the opposite is true. We're never going to get out of this. If we do constantly were the mask and allow them to jab us with whatever they want and give all of our rights and give up our churches and give up our business and that that's the way we're never going to get out of it because when when people take power they usually don't want to give it back they don't give it back very easily. She has another interesting line there. She says there is no such thing as individual choice during pandemic right right that. That's the premise. That's the whole premise. And so the pandemic can never end and so when the pandemic is ending. You've got to change the rules which they have done now like five times. You've got to so. The goal has to go from flatten the curve to slow the spread to find a cure to spread the cured everybody to stop surge. They're already talking about the what the lambda the sigma verion. The there's going to be a million more variants and it will never end because they don't want you to have individual choice. Because they basically agree with arnold school freedom. I got really have to work on my schwartz. Everyone has a good schwarzenegger but me. That's what they really believe is what the doctor said yesterday. When he was salivating oath she was so happy. I know all you people. You want your individual liberty but we cannot have there now and he just. He was so thrilled that he could take more power from you for himself. Dr who has never appeared on a ballot anywhere. No one has ever cast a vote for dr chee. He has been in his position of power for. I think what five presidential administrations now. Let's see. it was reagan. Bush clinton bush obama obama trump biden seven presidential administration. This guy has been in political power so now they don't want they don't want you to have any of that. What is the what is the pandemic. What is the pandemic from the very beginning. The death rate was much much lower than people warned us that it was going to be among children. Which is what we were talking about right here. Way way way way lower beyond that we know that the media and the scientific establishment of the politicians have been lying to us from the beginning. And when you compare it to other not just other pandemics but even just public public health problems you you can see in. Its context not quite as big a risk as people have made out to be but as long as it remains v. pandemic then your individual freedom your way of life. More importantly goes by the wayside. Want to remember those good old days when you had your way of life your traditions your freedom. I would strongly recommend you check out legacy box one of my most treasured possessions. Maybe my single most treasured. Possession is my collection of photographs. An old movies. Because you know. I got i got some nice stuff you know. All sorts of nice doodads and gizmos. But those can be replaced and your memories cannot and what happens over time is that they fade. They start to deteriorate they degrade and sometimes they get lost. I've lost some very important photograph. So sometimes they get destroyed in the fire. Sometimes they just they just don't last..

I knew that the power grab be try to the bushes. The clintons and to a lesser degree the obamas had really were controlling the country for years their their family their influence as president power Politicians was vast and ally that probably got taken away and they wanted that back. And that's when i knew you know just layman's brain. That they were trying to get that power back. And that's why i see him as a puppet to those three the bush clinton obama family. That was that's my take on it. I don't know about biology. Yeah just in general that biden for those three those three family. Yeah they're definitely. They're definitely the probably called the general managers..

"His own attorney compared this to the civil war urged the judge to follow the example of president. Lincoln's planned approach to the defeated south after the civil war before he was assassinated which is granting them leniency so even his own lawyer is positioning his client as being the racist in the civil war. I mean this is. This is crazy. What they're doing and that brings other other elements in there. It's not it's not okay to make more more severe sentences because of what somebody thinks. It's absolutely not okay. I must get to the story about haiti there. There's all the. I really think i absolutely nailed the haiti thing. Minute one that looks like a. us led coup. And i wouldn't be surprised if it's partly because of their low covert rates low death rates low vaccination rates non-existent vaccination rates all of that. Because that is the new. This is world war three and it's based on on this biological foundation for the new society. It's going to be worldwide. Society has to take these people out there. Knocking them out. I mean these countries who stand up to this world plan. I listened like why is every country every government from top to bottom capitulating. It wasn't every country wasn't belarus. Wasn't haiti it wasn't burundi. It wasn't tanzania and those people are all getting taken out one by one. There's other reasons. I think it's very clear. That biden wants to reestablish western hegemony the us hegemony over the western hemisphere as we sunset as the world hedge on the unique one time only world hedge on we are. It's almost like hey you can have stopped competing at the industry level side competing with me to be the big guy we will let you have this entire division this entire an market and no one will ever mess with you. You just structure the western hemisphere the way you want it so. They're going into the northern triangle. They're going into haiti. They're going to cuba. They already did bolivia. And this is that trump biden continuum just like the bush clinton obama continuum. It's just all same with foreign policy. But the evidence is the colombians went into do it. They were trained by the us government over time. There was a washington post article. Oh don't take that as such a big deal. We do it all the time. We have interoperability. Are we have like cross training all the time they admit that. Da and fbi informants are among the suspected hitman that we are actually admitting and it says that.

"Along with greater houston community foundation over a couple of our or more recent disasters. We partnered together onto funds. There which i can talk a little bit more about if you want. I want to get to that. But first steve the same question for you. What role does the greater houston community foundation. Play when it comes to recovering from disasters Similarly we play a number of different roles. We have a long history of administering disaster relief funds. Going all the way back to the bush clinton katrina fund and That's a major part of our activity but in addition to that we work with our donors And connect them to various nonprofits who need assistance. During a disaster work we have our understanding houston data indicators project that we utilize and we'll talk a little bit more about that. I'm sure To drive the relief efforts in the data. And what have you. But the core of our activity is certainly administering. The types of funds will be talking about this morning. Amanda let's talk about those funds and what it means that you're officially partnering up. What what will you do differently from before all right. Well steve mentioned we both have a long history of administering disaster relief funds Going going back for almost a couple of decades at this point but one of the things we did in the last couple of years particularly starting last spring with code one of the things we realize is that we can be better together so we came together did the greater houston covert nineteen recovery fund where we were able to raise eighteen point four million dollars in really incoming together both for that and the winter storm relief fund which we were so excited to have david czar of centerpoint energy chair along with great support from turner's office judge. The dog often the cova fund having tony chasing and jamie roots. Who is what the texans at the time lead the charge as well on the fundraising side when we come together. We can do a lot of things. We can leverage our collective histories in terms of our grant making skills. We can use data together in a much more meaningful way.

"Mentioned the sears catalog. Because the younger listeners are like what are you guys talking about. But i certainly remember as a young child being able to flip through the sears catalog. like that's how you found out what cool toys there were. You like flip through this beautiful glossy magazine like. I didn't even know. I wanted that. But now i do. It's like endless growing on the internet but instead it was a five hundred page also listeners. Probably like what's sears. But when you look at like eighteen ninety six eighteen ninety seven. You're seeing this. The alcohol habit a lot of times the cure for the alcohol habit would just the alcohol. Can they would put it in these motions and with your of the alcohol habit. If you take this you're not gonna wanna drink and largely what it is. Is that alcohol. So you're basically getting drunk off of ger. So that's when you start seeing nineteen o five nine hundred six same thing once again in any roosevelt's administration you're starting to see. Well there's a need for regulation in terms of protecting the consumer so forget about protecting labour or environmental standards or anything like that. The consumer now be fully bought into capitals. they're seeing how cheap goods are in the sears. Catalog their tons and tons of them. They can very clearly see that. They're living much better than their parents did. And older people are also seeing themselves that the does the country that emerged from a very bloody civil war and here you're having this enormous consumer surplus certainly and enormous selection of consumer products within a week or her piano. that's delivered to omaha hysterically. Substantial consumer revolution happening so be fully bought into the fact that the the dividends of capitalism our life enhancing in a highly materialistic way but even though these people have bought and now all of sudden the consumer has a backlash in terms of medicines. These patent medicines that are called patent medicines. But there's no patent behind it you know. People are highly secretive but what's contained in these medicines and same thing with meat in terms of food. So there's this upton sinclair's book know lots of times you can also look at the power of and power of fiction in exposing certain excesses and upton sinclair. It's those is that everything from dead rats to all types of things that shouldn't make its way into meet are happening in these giant meatpacking plants in chicago and writes this pretty big expose in fictional form and his book. The jungle makes its way into the quarters of government and the american public revolted when teddy roosevelt stands actual agents into some of these neat facilities in secret and finds out that exactly. This is what's happening. What happens in claire had written in fictional form is exactly what's happening in reality so once again. American consumers revolted. They don't wanna play dead rats falling do the same thing that their children are eating right in canned meats and other things like that so now all of a sudden you have federal meat inspectors that have to inspect meat facility. Sent out still exist today. So it's a consumer revolt in the things that are most sacred food and medicine that brings the federal government into a consumer regulatory and consumer protection framework. And from there. You can look at other products banking. Can anyone tell the solvency of a bank. Can you take a person that has an average education and look at a bank's balance sheet and look at their loan portfolio and say as is going to be solvent or not after the next financial crisis. And so then you have need for the fdic and other things like that. These are basically stabilizing framework. You don't want revolution so lots of times consumer protection labor protection environmental protection. What i think of these things are shock absorbers. You know and if you think about a car you think about a nine eleven. it's a rough ride. You put a shock absorbent Horses taking a little bit away from performance. Know the more luxurious the ride. The less response of the car is going to beat every bump in the road the less you can optimize for it as driver. And that's what it is you're giving up a little bit of gdp grow for a little bit of stability. So you're just buying insurance just like you buy insurance on a house. Your income is going down to some degree is. You're taking a part of your discretionary incomes going on the insurance issue ensure things. But that's the way that you should look at this regulatory framework. At least that's how i looked at it. When i was treating the emergence of some of these things safeguards and shock absorbers. That it certainly does cost something. It does take away from your gdp growth but downturns it protects you from having revolution. There's still some echoes. A singing of the nutraceutical world today which is a massive industry. Where i mean. I don't know ninety percent of the products. Probably don't do what they say they do. But they kinda skirt the whole fda process. There's been a lot of push polls and we talk about a couple of things that i think is probably near and dear to our listeners. Hearts that you. And i both experienced at times to which is the us in the world of course but today versus even fifty years ago versus one hundred years ago versus two hundred years ago if you look at the financial system and capital markets. I mean what massive differences there are gold standard no central bank various currencies the development of stocks junk bonds. Right down the road here in la fdic on and on and on and also this constant of booms and busts you and i lived through my favorite one but you've seen them in history everywhere no comment on what we're going through today any threads you like to pull on during this book that you thought were particularly interesting as you did the research on any of those topics of the financial sector and booms and busts throughout last four hundred years. Lots of times. I think what set soft these boom cycles these bubbles. It's not irrational. Might you lots of times. What happens is there's a collective troop everybody knew that radio in the twenties was going to be this absolute next big thing. Everybody seeing it. It's transformative it's the first time in human history that everybody's listening to a program at the exact same time and it's the first time that someone in new york and someone in washington. Dc or able to get the same bit of information at the exact same time and this collective trance that you can put yourselves in during sporting events during news broadcasts. So that's when you see. Rca become the high flying stock of the twenties. Sandy with automobile stocks. In the dean's is starting to see all types of automobile companies emerged. General motors in amalgamation of a number of these different brands. So anytime you start. Seeing the consumers react and get excited about the next big thing and investors get excited about entrepreneurs think of this as fertile opportunity at everyone sort of agrees you're going to have the conditions for a bubble to some degree but the bubble has a fundamental truth to it just like the dot com bubble. We think about the shape of the book is obviously next thing. After next big thing after next thing all the way from four years we take it all the way to the nineties. And let's look at crypto. Now bringing the crypto. Now let's look at what happened in the nineties. Because i did not think that i would see another bubble form the same extent that i did in the dotcoms in the nineties. But you're to some degree seeing it now and the reason. Why is. It's an exciting field crypto. Certainly very exciting field if it does what its biggest cheerleaders say. It's going to do it. Certainly going to be very transformers but in the nineteen ninety s. Everyone knew that the internet is a big deal. You had even in nineteen ninety-two during the election between clinton and bush clinton and gore. We're talking about information superhighway. They were talking about the information superhighway during that campaign before the browser before mosaic before netscape is the nineteen ninety-two mosaic. Comes the your after andriessen. When a student and netscape browser comes the year. after that. and that's when everybody's eyes are opened up that does browser has. How do we set up society. How do we handle these huge powerful tech companies and It's not clear to me which one trumps the other at some point. If i'm a politician in. I'm actually splitting amazon up. And there's some kind of of how fast the the prime member gets. There can bike oil. I wonder if that creates sort of a countervailing political pressures while. Yeah i like all your theories and all this but don't get in Between me and and that package of the blue smile on it because it's kind of central to the way. I live my life. I don't think you know, I don't know if impeachment had a measurable impact of the last two years of his term, because that's what it happened. It happened, you know, fairly late and his administration, but there's no doubt that if each minute is gonna affect his legacy, because now we see Bill Clinton through the lens of character and character defects. And that's what the impeachment was about gave the Republicans his Republican opponents a tremendous foothold in terms of attacking, not only Bill Clinton But attacking the man who wanted to extend Clinton's time. Al Gore. Fighting with Hillary Clinton for the mantle of leadership of the Democratic Party in the first place, and there was all sorts of in house intrigue on that front. I can't wait to hear what my little baby grandsons think about it. Is. I don't know that they can remember having seen snow before. I think they may have when they were even younger. But I don't know that their memories of that long. All right? You heard the numbers like him one more time. You can call or text 51283605 90. On right now, let's head out to driftwood. IBO. How's it going? Good girl. Thank you. Yeah, I'm calling about sand burgers. Um, I get Samberg's mixed in with my wild flowers and If I pick corn gluten out there. Wouldn't that inhibit my wild flowers from coming up? Also? Yeah. Once they're up, though, you could do it. Look, you know you got to make sure that they're all germinated. Some of them will come up earlier than the stickers. But there's others that won't you know, like you're Some of your legs, springs and self flowers would be black eyed Susans. And what not to come up here? Yeah, they come up later. So, Yeah. You've got a dilemma on your hands there. Yeah, Now, I usually when I do see him, I pulled him up course. Get rid of them. Don't They have those little yellow flowers in the beginning when they start coming up? Um, Hamburg. I'm trying to say Yeah, I remember. Uh I can't remember what what They look like when they're first coming up. I've mistaking him before for innocents, things, but I I haven't Actually looked at an emerging. Maybe somebody listening could give us a hint on this. The color of the Sandberg's when they first come up yellow flowers, like really low to the ground. But that was last summer. My hate for you to attack the wrong thing. The might be, it might be worth googling it if You know if we don't get anybody calling in to give us hero definite answer, because I can't remember. That's Yeah. I mean, uh, you know, the one thing that you can do to help break the seed cycle is too when there's nothing up. Could go around and dragged the area for to try to pick up the seeds that are just laying around Still with an old beach towel or an old blanket or something you burn afterwards. Because you can actually pick up a lot of seed that way. Mommies are OK. And then the next question is about Greg's missed flower. Yeah. We basically is that because I'd like to put in this one garden bed, and I'm just I'm just curious if it's gonna get out of there will stay in the garden bed. Well, it can get quite large around, but it's not the kind of thing that's gonna jump all over the yard and come up everywhere. Uh, yeah, but I mean, it could be big. It could be 68 ft across if it's happy. Uh huh. And what is it does it does play well, with Lantana? Yeah. Bush Clinton, Especially if you put anything low next to it. It'll climb over it, You know? Like, uh, you know, if you're gonna plan a new gold Lantana, for instance, one of low spreaders I would give it, you know. Plenty of room away from the Greg Smith flower. But you could plant a Bush land 10 are right in the middle of it. Okay, Well, I got some lantana nether armature. So they probably knee high or higher this last month? Yeah, so those would be okay. Yeah, those would be fine. Okay already, Cheryl. Thank you very much. You're welcome. Thanks for calling. Kill BJ today. Okay. I've gone through all the text, So the last one just says it's snowing in Georgetown time to plant Uh huh. Hope that everybody Woz, you know, cognizant of this weather coming in and covered their tender little plants. Especially tender little vegetables, and things like that should have been covered with road cover. This isn't going to be a devastating cold snap. But you know, when you get ice on, leaves it, it'll destroy them. So it's hopefully people. Covered or, you know, put row cover or buckets over things or pots over things and annoy also protected their You know their tender little container plants and stuff like that. So I was saying to bring things in. I was at a friend's house yesterday, and they're growing Cem Esperanza or yellow Bills, whichever you call it? From seed and they have emerging little plants and they have him and you know those little little containers and stuff and they had him out on the on the deck railing. And I was, like, Be sure during those in tonight because You know, they will not things like that will not survive something like this. So okay Lines open 51283605 90. Hollis and tell us what's going on at your house and also of somebody remind me what a sticker looks like when it's emerging. If it does have little yellow flowers, And of course, a lot of things have little yellow flowers. That's why I was telling him. I don't want to just go out there and start. You know, wholesale digging stuff up until you know What it is that you've got coming up there. I don't know whether any of my wild flower books have stickers on him. You know, I've got a wallflower. But no, it's that Marshall Enquist book. It's not gonna have it doesn't have stickers in it. Um so anybody that does know for sure can let me know now his dilemma And this. This is why I'm so glad that he asked. That question is do women is that they're in his wild flower field. And so rightly assuming that if he put corn gluten out, it would inhibit the germination of the wild flower seeds. He asked before he did it, and that was smart, because, yeah, you cannot plant seeds. And then put corn gluten down before they germinate. Now, once they germinate, and they've got, you know, two or three sets of leaves coming up that you're home free. You can then put corn gluten out. But if you have a mixed species wildflower field as you can imagine, And as we dressed, you got seeds germinating at all different times of the season. Throughout the summer throughout the spring, So yeah, you're gonna inhibit some of them if you put it down, so that's why I was encouraging him to try to deal with it while nothing was up and growing so Okay, We're going to go to North. Awesome for our next call. And if you all want to join the show 51283605 90. Hey, Julian, What's going on? Good morning, Cheryl. Well, so far here in North Austin, I've got about a half inch of snow. Yeah, and it's ticking. But here's my concern. Um, I didn't get everything covered. In my Easter Lewis have already started coming up. Will this inhibits them? Or will they be tough enough that they'll just shake it off? I think they'll shake it off. Assuming that we don't get a lot of ice forming, and I don't think that's gonna happen in bids. You know what I mean? It's just right. The soil started. All right, right, right. Right, So I mean, it would have to form ice on the leaves. And even so, even if it damaged a few the emerging leaves, I think they still you know, put more on when conditions are favorable, okay? Yeah, because this weather's been so wonky. They're already about Probably good inch inch and a half. Already? Yeah, again. I don't think in the beds, it's gonna be an issue. You know, I think if you're in a if you have a container of plants, a small container Out in the middle of the, you know, sleep. It could do some damage to plants that are in there because you know the parts are just so vulnerable but in the ground Uh, you know, I don't think you have to worry..

"We'll play ball, They will be the scripted once. I mean, you look at Bush Clinton, Obama all scripted all scripted Trump. Um, scripted some but most time extemporaneous talking from the heart speaking the language of the people that hate that. Like maybe they never know what he's gonna do next. And to them that looks unpresidential. But the people know the people can hear the difference between a truth and a phony. It's so incredible what you're saying because for years we've been talking about what is in front of us right now what we're seeing in front of our very eyes right now. And I mean, you know, and some of your books and some of the things that you've authored like, You know, the killing of Uncle Sam or socialism under a microscope. I mean, you have gone into great detail. On. And these these these books that you have my goodness, It's almost prophetic. In fact, it is because what you were stating there. Is happening in front of our very eyes right now. And you know when we when we first put the first book on that killing among the same, everybody thought It's just a conspiracy theory. But when you read it, it's actually history book and it's 7000 footnotes. I mean, there's nothing in there that we made up that I You know, this would be a good thing. So this Indian And expect none of the books about Trump. They're not the nonpartisan books. They deal with the system. That's right. And I did that on purpose I felt even when I was talking along these lines. Way back. 2012 2011 2014 15. I never focused on the parties. I talked on the system. Dealt with the system, and that's what the problem is. There's a system in place, so that system according to what's just happened in the House, the Congress and Senate Looks like it's triumphed. But as I keep telling people it's not the 20th year. And when I saw the concession, so called speech on the president last night, I said, Nah, that's not a concession. That is definitely not a concession. And then Today when he said that he's not going to the inauguration. Maybe means is not gonna be one, so there's too much happening, and that's why they frantically shutting him down, said corn. So what's actually happening happening all what's going on? But you're right, you know, And by the way, I mean, I know people think I'm a cute follow up. I'm actually not. I wrote a whole chapter in my book called Acute Conspiracy. Which 60% of what's said in this true But 40% is just Misdirection and Nonsense and fabrication. So I'm not a cute person. But I do believe that POTUS has still something up to sleep because he's too calm. The president is too calm. And the rest of them are too crazy. How would that look? You know, Dr Brown, you know, Let's say that is the case. And I have a tendency to believe the same thing. And I think many do as well and we're praying and hoping that's the case. What is that? Look like? If something goes goes down, Is it a military type operation? You know what happens is the Civil War abrupt in this country. Well, I mean, you know what does that look like? What can happen? Well, I think it's a military operation there outside of a military operation could forget about it because first of all the Patriots or the people they don't have what it is. You cannot come up against the military force. It's impossible right on the military weapons or too far advanced and stuff that gets up and a civil war. I don't think we can have a civil war. I think People are not stupid to go. Just start shooting other people. I think they'll be factions. That'll break count. I think they'd be nut jobs like what we have with Auntie friend Black last matter crazies that are going to do whatever they want to. But American people are not at that juncture at this play. It's not going to be at that. You know, we're not at that place, so I don't see a civil war and I do see craziness, but I didn't see a civil war. And Don't even recommend one, right? Yeah, you know. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I feel the same way. So really, how you feel like, hey, you know, God's the one in control. He's the one that is going to put the game plan in place. And he knows because I mean, here's the truth, and I think you'll agree. God's not gonna allow a Communist devil agenda to overtake America. Look, it's either in place now. It was not in place. Now. It's too late. Basically, it's you know, basically, you know, Baden will be integrated and will be Riding, let out like we did Obama fade years, but I think this one will be a little different because really accomplished. China's turning behind everything and you could still ready. See? Already see the purges on. I think there's a four million Twitter followers were deleted today, Newt and as you know what part of being Even 25 hours to sort their platform out. So I mean, I don't think it's going to stop. I think it's gonna be a witch hunt. Any maggot group or anybody that supported the president? Uh, everything to the jobs, their reputation and it's just really what communist China does. So, um, but I think they're gonna bottle on that. Then that control you're not stop America. Not now. At least, I think they think they jumped the gun too. Quick, too, you know? Yeah, and I and I happened to tend to believe that as well, you know, and I've said, you know, to turn my own family. And of course to this listening audience. I said, look, you know if, in fact nothing happens, and Biden, in fact is inaugurated. God still on the throne, and there's a plan for this country in God's people. And, you know, sometimes maybe a shaking needs to happen. Where more people wake up. You know, God, I believe allowed Trump to be the modern day King Cyrus. You know, number 45. He's the 45th President Isaiah 45 talks about King Cyrus. And, you know, how do we know that the shaking is not gonna happen? Where more people wake up? And then you know, there's another trump like person on Then there's this, You know, long period of peace time before we get to that other place. I mean, you know, God knows we don't but God does. So I'm not going to sit back and you know, sit in the corner waiting for the rapture. If, in fact, Joe Biden becomes the president. Yeah, I still I don't think Joe become president. I might be born Which is fun. I've got till the 20th. I told him I I don't want you to be wrong. I want you to be 100%. I'm with you, man. I'm I'm standing in faith like everybody. Yeah, I don't think it will be They too frantic. I mean, they don't act like winners. I mean, they don't act like they've won. It's like and it's like they know they've done wrong. Yeah, they know they've committed on trees. And I mean, I'm not about Jonah. I'm told about the whole of Congress and the Senate. Stop right there. I mean, let's see what happens. We've got you know this is gonna be get out the pop woman you sit down. See what happens Every day is like nuts. You know, I'm with you. I'm with you.
