"It says a lot. It's so symbolic journey topping Number two, A woman trying to photograph a herd of bison ended up getting attacked when she got too close to one of the calves. The counter was caught on video at Custer State Park. Didn't know we had that. But I'm on for No. They named it after Custer. Shouldn't they have named it after the the the Indian chief who beat him? Who was that sitting bull? I don't know I'd have to go. But I don't know that. I don't know the story. Well enough. I certainly don't know the story. I wasn't asking you. I was just making the comment. I'll have to look it up. Now A woman approached the mother Bison and her calf on ly to be attacked. This is bigger than the little big horn there that okay? The wife's gene's got caught in the horns on so Bad news. The Buffalo was spinning her around until the pants ripped off. So she was pantless. A park visitor who shot the video shared it as a warning to others about the dangers of approaching a wild animal. Crazy horse. She was found or hospital on an unknown condition. I'll be honest, I watched the video if she I would be surprised if she's survived if he where she was taken to a hospital in a pantsless condition very much, saying I wouldn't Here's the problem that people have when they're on vacation is they think that they are immune? You got people walking through neighborhoods that nobody should be walking through, even during the day, But they'll be there in the middle of the night because they had this bubble of immunity because they are on vacation and nothing bad. Can happen. I, especially in Yellowstone. People. Just think these animals are. Oh, they're so cute. I think I'm going to go up and pet it buffalo. Might as well be a damn dinosaur. Yeah, they really are. It's there to kill you. They are incredibly powerful. Do yourself If you're really thinking you got to get close to a buffalo to get that selfie. Go on YouTube and put Buffalo Yellowstone and the first few videos that come up. We'll probably dissuade you from the idea. There are a number of them as they but with their heads a car and the car is barely able to drive away. It's so damaged so I don't know what you're thinking. Thinking itself is that important? By the way, I'd say in North America think Buffalos. My favorite animal. Is it really? You think so? They're super cool. I got hit by the meth lab. Yeah, there there. Listen, Are they on your property? No, that would be awesome. Now, that wouldn't be awesome. You could never go outside because they charge that cabinet years. If a buffalo hit it, It's gonna roll down the side of the mountain. No, they're about half a mile away there. Not far though, okay? They're on our enough that you could just Ah, go up there with the big hunting rifle and say, I think I'm gonna have some Buffalo meat tonight. Here's what is said about it because you want to see the bolt because there is so much bigger. But this guy clearly sells them like it's not just like he has a wild herd. Right. So there's only one and I never see the ball. You just see the female. Yes, okay. It's not a school, the bull sitting on his throne somewhere very much there just so much bigger, and that's why it's cool to see him. All right. Attorney Topic number one here in D F W and around the world brought to you by if you watch blazing saddles on HBO, Max. Many times you'll notice a new disclaimer has been added. It's similar to the one hears the disclaimer. Mongo only pawn. In game of life. What's that from blazing senses? Yeah, you might want to watch the movie before you comment. I haven't seen it and forever. Okay. Ah, it's similar to the one the streaming service put in front of gone with the wind. The same woman's doing it. She's a college professor. And apparently you have to be really, really woke to be watching this movie it and not understand it. Only Social justice warriors would watch blazing saddles and be hurt by it because they're so psychologically fragile. HBO. Max said that the disclaimer for the Mel Brooks comedy Classic warns and educates viewers. I will be honest listening to her disclaimer. I thought that the being eating farting scene I learned more than I learned listening to her disclaimer listening to grown men. Passed gas for a solid 60 seconds was Maurin formative. Been listening to her disclaimer? I want to say that actors got some car dealerships. If you're headed up 75. You're talking Burton Gilliam? Yes, Burton lives. I think he lives up in Alan. And But he has dealerships as you get closer to Oklahoma if I think he sponsors him, I don't know that they're his dealerships. I feel like he's making. I bet he made. He plays like satellite. Yeah, I'm sure he makes d c. I originally thought that he just did that. But then I start to think I was like a body on him. I don't know. I think he just does the spokesperson for them. Maybe maybe they gave him a piece of Miss Compensate. I don't know. You know, for a while. He seemed ageless. Yeah, he did. He's starting to put it on. Yes, because he's like, 80. He was. You know, he was a firefighter here in Dallas. Really? He was a firefighter and got a job using. I can't remember. I can't remember the history I I met him back in 2009 over the other station and talked about his past here, and he's in a bunch of movies, and he always has thes small parts that are very you remember them for someone is like a honeymoon in Vegas. He's the head of the Flying Elvis is it's a small part. Guys in Ah, in flinch small part, but you'll remember it very memorable. Actor Burton Gilliam is seen Fletcher Fletch lives in Fletc. The original he was the was the airplane mechanic. That's right now that's right. Such a good movie. Good movie could moving. The movie originally hit theaters in 1970 for not Fletc, but it is ranked number six on the American Film Institute's 100 years. 100 laughs list, but you have to have and once again, even Mel Brooks acknowledges. Well, you couldn't make that movie Now. What? Why not? Why couldn't you make it? It isn't because of people on the right. It's because of people on the left. Why in God's earth would you want to participate and support anybody like that? And yet they do blindly. These people in Hollywood blindly support censorship, and I don't understand that kind of thinking. Tell you what. There's starting to be a big exodus. You should see. OK, now that Joe Rogan's move into Texas you've heard that. Yeah, but he moved to Austin. What a dumb thing to have done..

And then I do the pictures while the picture a bunch of you on Hollywood didn't quit paying job. Fire station. Three months later. I got a phone. Call swoon some guy who said no Brooks. I tell them no again. The story down. Steve Ahab a lot. It was a lot of fun. It was prob. What did they give you for it? Oh, my deal was I was. What are made in a whole year to fire department back in well thousand dollars twelve thousand? Thousand bucks for three weeks. But I had a week and a half overtime. More overtime. Twenty five dollars. Oh. In Florida week. And taking me over. Two years. All I love you. Toby? The morning move. Never been done before. So I was going to be for. Parts in emotion. I I skipped. It did not say. Well, that'd be one of the guys. Open. I and right. What was he liked to work with what was it like just being around? Mel Brooks must have been like a story every five minutes. How do you how do you laugh through that whole three weeks kept? "It's great show that Sunday would be with Burton Gilliam, whom you may know from blazing saddles the scene where everybody passes the gas. He's the one that invented that scene. Get any better than this. Also, we've got my interview with Joe long of the four seasons is up there. Lots and lots of good stuff. A good time. She'll be had by all reading my page on nj one zero one five dot com. Now. Is this is this court case really necessary is this lawsuit really necessary. When governor Murphy was running for office. He said that he would take on Donald Trump. And now New Jersey is going to take on Donald Trump attorney general Gerber as wall. Join California at fourteen other states ensuing. Over President Trump's decision to fund a border wall by declaring a national emergency annexing, billions of federal dollars earmarked for military construction projects in law enforcement, drug interdiction efforts now jerseys now going to spend we're going to spend our money involved in a lawsuit to sue the president. There's one comment on the page here. How will this help lower taxes in New Jersey, fix New Jersey transit make the state pensions whole reduced property taxes? Make New Jersey more livable and affordable. It's posturing, you know, it's it's it's unnecessary. And the real national emergency is a president who refuses to adhere to the rule of law says gray wall in its effort to cater to a select few on the right? This administration is trampling our constitution and circumventing the will of congress as the chief law enforcement officer for New Jersey. I have a duty to stand up for New Jersey residents, including our immigrant community. And so I'm joining states across the country in challenging this emergency declaration in court. There is a difference. Again. There is a difference between an immigrant and illegal immigrant is someone who migrated to this country become a citizen of this country become part of this country. That's an emigrant an illegal is someone who snuck into the country, and there's no one ever becoming a citizen of the country. So I it's hypocritical for these people to continue to come out and say they doing this for the immigrants. Imigrants call this radio station, all the time saying that pissed off over this. There's unfair to what they had to go through to become citizens. And now, we are spending tax dollars your tax dollars our money in a free your lawsuit. Can't we really devote the attention to the things that are wrong with the state to the things that we need here as what I just listed earlier the property taxes. The pensions. No, we're now now now we're going to mess around with California. Does it we have to do it? All of a sudden, we become a California light. If such a thing actually exists. One eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five how you feel about this. Should we be involved in a lawsuit to sue the president? Ends in Tom's river, New Jersey one zero one point five. Hi, hi, Steve. Thanks for taking my call. Sure. First off we're kind of really wasting our time tried to sue the government because they don't believe the federal government can be soup by the states or something like the federal government has to pay out millions upon millions of dollars right back to the states. That's one number two. Congress is saying all this coast against the will of congress. Congress is supposed to be the will of the people, and I'm hearing a lot of border agents at a lot of people throughout the country saying they want the wall that they want better enforcement. So, you know, I think nothing but a real big publicity stunt for people. Again, we're very upset with Trump. And let's be very adage. You know, why lease politicians are upset with Trump? Steve I'm gonna tell us he control. When he was so pissed. He took a lot of projects that the government. We're supposed to do he does faster and under budget. Now. He's also take a lot of the platforms that these politicians would run on, you know, health healthshare unemployment and one for me elect me, I'll get something done. And then oh, you know, I try maybe if you for me again, so he's making them all look pitch. And that's why they're really mad would be guy. But this whole thing with the wall and sewing, this waste, my tax dollars yours, and we're not even past of these politicians. We're not even ask we want our tax dollars to go through a lawsuit about the wall and about these analysts investigations, it's just these politicians are out of touch with us. Well, they get to make decisions. Right. And we know get any say, no, Ian, thanks for the call to New Jersey one zero one point five, adding how do you feel about the wall? The few. It's something that we in New Jersey need a lawsuit on where the hell do you think everybody's gonna come when they crossed the border, right? The guys that are given out the driver's licenses. The guys that are giving out the legal aid. I mean seriously. I'm very concerned with President Trump's decision to declare an emergency to build his ineffective and unnecessary wall. His decision to circumvent congress is not only fiscally reckless. But constitutionally dubious said governor Murphy. How do you feel about it? One eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five you think it's right. The we should be suing the the government where are we going to gain out of this? How does this benefit New Jersey? I mean, if anything the war would benefit New Jersey because you've got too many people to begin with that we're paying for. Claiming an influx of immigrants Central America created a national security threat, the president declared an emergency at the US border with Mexico in so doing the president said he would forge ahead with plans for construction for massive multibillion dollar border wall. They congress refused support. They can do that. You know, what I mean that's part of his purview. I guess that's part of his power. But either way. Do we need to be suing over it? How do you feel about this one eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five is this something that you think we should be putting our tax dollars into. I mean, would it be nicer they've come out and say look what we're doing for New Jersey look at our help and lower your property taxes. Worried about the border wall. And again, you know, this whole idea between the immigrants and the illegals we're doing this for the immigrants. We really doing this for the immigrants are we doing this for your own political agenda, and should we the taxpayers v supporting your own political agenda? I mean, there are people in this state that support Trump there are people in a state that want the border wall. There are people in the state that are against it. But I don't know. Should we put like if we're going to file a lawsuit? She we get everybody involved in action. That'd be a vote. One eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five Michaels in Trenton under jersey one zero one point five, Michael what are you thinking? The on again, if you worry about paying taxes Trump the nuclear arsenal by train dollars five thousand dollars per taxpayer. Second of all the people in Texas, you're against the wall third -able who is doing a great job. You basically golden pedophile piece. He's helping get released. The convicts were convicted wrongly. We're not really. Guilty doing a lot of good. Stand keep doing good things. But this is not something we need to be doing focus on New Jersey. I don't I don't disagree that he's doing a great job. But I don't think this is something we need to be doing. Well, why not get most in any way? We can. Mentioned or do not take an attorney general. Right. Never seen. You suggested about what we should be focused on do not taking attorney. No. But they do take our tax dollars. And that's what we should be focusing our tax dollars on Michael. Thanks, call to New Jersey one zero one point five. This lawsuit is gonna have to be paid for by us. How do you feel about it? One eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five the attorney general is suing the challenge. President Trump's emergency declaration on the border wall. Do you think how do you feel about the whole idea? How do you feel about the border wall? You they get something you like to see. And also, do you think that New Jersey should be involved in a lawsuit over the border wall? Should we be challenging the president because it's going to cause money's gonna cost our tax dollars? So where were you of this one eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five his New Jersey one zero one point five fast traffic..

And would it be at Burton Gilliam? This Sunday, you know, him from blazing saddles. This is a man who. The epitome of his career. The first man to pass gas in the movie, and I get the open form. What am I going? I gotta write material and he passes wind and he's the headliner. Anyway, I don't meet the complaint. Thank you any brands. So what else are we got going on? Is so much. We're going to get into tonight. We're talk about the the border wall. Because why not we thought about retiring in New Jersey because why not? But I wanna start off with the the the things that we have seen in the roads and driven around or avoided or narrowly avoided things it fell off trucks things he crawled out on the road things that ran out on the road. A truck dropped nearly a ton and a half of bailed residential trash onto an exit ramp off route forty six in Richfield park and it just kept going on Monday afternoon. Bell fall off around two afternoon. They know things falling off the truck at a different meeting once upon a time. But now, it's actual garbage falling off the truck. Just like it did back then depending on who is you know, who you were getting we're fell off the truck from but one eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five we've all got those stories. I just want to start this off like what is some of the things that you have seen in the jersey roadways..

"And he's married to this African American lady and Sylvia miles talking about, you know, obviously, still married to that N word is just like, okay. Yeah. Again, where being kind of time specific to stuff, but it's just his introduction. The this new character this musician. Character doesn't make any sense who really cares about him. There's some fake. Pathos with his kids. And like is my daddy gonna be okay. And that Marlo has to explain that down the their dad is dead in a scene takes place off screen. It's like who cares? You know? I'm sorry to sound cold hearted. But he is not part of the story. And it just doesn't really matter. You know, they just should have just left him. Be. He wasn't in the book. He wasn't a murder. My sweet he wasn't in the falcon takes over. So who cares? He's just as this added character. There's other weird things to, you know, talking about oriented, Liz, I'm like one point the say, oh, yeah. Go if you I know about Jade, go to Chinatown ends up talking to this Chinese guy for like a half a second is like, oh you again, they're speaking in the broken English. And I'm just like oh, God, really? This is so embarrassing. You know, like bad for glass, I. All right. Great. So ended up sending them over to another place. It's like, okay. Yeah. This wasn't that necessary. Either, you know, the murder, my sweet condensed those connections. You know, we this character then became that character in order to make that connection, smaller and smarter and quicker. Whereas in this it feels like they're throwing more bodies into the mill and just like, oh now go talk to that guy who wasn't in the book. Now, go talk to that guy who wasn't in the book and just adding more of these tertiary characters are not even tertiary they'd be it'd be lucky to be at that level just to keep us going, and yeah, it does feel really flat. And I do that dumb gender. Swap on. I am still whereas will which makes it slightly more interesting, but not very much one of the things I like about this film is it's one of those movies that shows these exactly has showed so vessel actually is pretty I I have never heard Stallone talk about Joe Spinella. But those guys have been in so many movies together that they must have been pals off screen, and I can only imagine and police somebody if you're listening give me a documentary or a weekly adventure show of the week the adventures of spinal in Stallone. I mean that must have been quite a party those two guys getting together. And yeah, I love when they're they're Burton Gilliam who I just talked about last week when we talked about the getaway him spinal Stallone mitchum all them one frame. I was just like, wow. This is pretty amazing and yet going to see Kate Murtaugh. And yeah, I did like that. And I like that she was this kind of hardcore lesbian style. But you know, Stallone ends up being the one to kill her. And it's like, okay..

"I do think it's interesting that this in this time round, the screenplay was credited, Walter hill and to Amy holding Jones, and I have read that one of the things that interested her was rewriting and beefing up that character, I think that might be something that makes it worth watching. But honestly, if you asked me, well, I know there are these. Versions of the getaway which one I looked when should I watch? I would say that you should watch. Steve McQueen alley McGraw version. No two ways about it. Yeah. There were couple casting decisions that they made in the remake that I enjoyed a lot like Jennifer Tilly that was a good choice for the Frank Karbi role. But I love Burton Gilliam of most people know him from people moon or from blazing saddles where he is just terrific. He's got that great smile and him as golly the guy showing around the hotel, and and being that dub Taylor role. I thought was great. And then I grew up watching the paper chase so seeing James Stevens as the cuckolded veterinarian was really nice to see him show up in something. But it was like, okay. Whatever I I had such a problem with Michael madsen's extensions. It was so tough watching him. And just like now, I know the character supposed to be distasteful, but just he looked like he had escaped from a bed cut. Entry band. You know, and it was just like, oh, just clean yourself up. Dude. Go take a shower. I really however really enjoy seeing James would as banyan. I mean that was kinda great David Morse and his small rule. Greasy a fully tail and he's gonna cheap deco. Save is. Okay. But he's not too. You could see bear stuff. And I was like David Moore says. Is and what was the TV show way to copy? It was called hack, and it's a really good sees because he's still getting in TV, it'd be like TV but stout. Good quality TV. And that's how you do it more like an it's like all this head from the hawk. Movies too the under days foams as his name has come up on this Joe so many times just for a while there. He was the go-to guy to just be a real SOB in so many movies things like the long kiss. Goodnight. But then he would play like the happy dead character in contact or the really creepy guy who's gonna kill the entire world twelve monkeys. And it's like for while he was playing so many bad guys in so many movies that I couldn't even remember when he was sweet Dr Jack Morrison on Saint elsewhere. It's to the point now where I'm like, I need to go back and watch saying elsewhere kind of get this David Morse taste back in my mouth of him. Being a good guy. Just because he has played so many bad guys movies. And yeah, he's terrific as what is characters name like, Jim, dear or something. Jim. Dear Jackson, and he's no the accounting. Int-, but he brings his own spin to that role. And I think he works really well, and that also like the fact that they're not rubbing Bank. They're rubbing a dog track. I mean, how much pack year. Can you be? They're not even robbing a horse race track. It's a dog track. That is so white trash low class. He really couldn't sleazy your than that. So you kinda like that. Or we're going to take another break in play preview for next week show. Murder. Book..

"Dot com check out my interview with burton gilliam who is the first man ever for the movie have you seen blazing saddles the guy i played it earlier it is hysterical but there were so many more david is in jackson on new jersey one zero one point hi steve how are you today i'm doing great thank you for taking my call and i have to admit i live my whole life every single day by quoting movie quotes and or tv quotes that relate to this particular subject love that i love that i had to narrow it down and i thought of it off the top of my head i use my nine year old son is a litmus test to see if it still holds up but it's my quotas from the movie dumb and dumber and i could have picked out about ten to fifteen scenes but one of my favorite scenes and i remember it being laugh out loud inside the theater is when jim carrey goes into a daydream montage with which became his first wife lauren holly and he's dreaming about winning her over in a restaurant and he uses the waiters quote unquote junk is a speed bag act ends up fighting it towards the end of the scene and literally made me laugh out loud and i could go on and on all the other teams in that movie but that's definitely a stunner and just to give a sidebar blazing saddles i could quote every single line from that movie from beginning to end and that's a classic so thank you for doing this topic and i'm going to hang up and keep up the good work you got my kids watch dumb and.
