"Me. Swirl the surprise our listeners. Tell me this new investment. Yes so so. This latest investment Into a okay capital Which is the majority holder of the burnley. Football club So in there in a premier league on the uk. So i'm officially one of the minority owners of brighton. Football club for fully. Yeah how did this come about. How did you become an investor in burnley in for merely started really with their chairman alan pace in his group ale capital We've done some business with them in some other ventures. Whether it's all franchises here in the state they recently took over the team and we have conversations kind of joking around like hey. Next time you buy team smoke. And that really snowballed into fruition actually In the same way that the. Nfl is investing into trying to expand their market to uk and around the world I think the premier league is finally really understand that they are the number one sports league in the world to do more investing in marketing and branding stateside and so it was an opportunity for us to come in and and we looked at burnley in their team in the history of that club It was it was really an exciting venture for us especially in aligning. What you know who. I'm about and malcolm make which is my business my holding company that made the investment. You know we look for a strategic partners and burnley the players you know they are socially conscious they take a knee before all their matches. They've been very very vocal about the black lives matter movement in support of other as well as the the ownership group and so it just a line really in all levels for us it made sense to to make that investment. Were you a premier league follower. Do you know a lot about english. Soccer has been an interest of yours for awhile actually neutral. Sport is not something that not a sport. I followed you know regularly but you know like anything. We look for good opportunities and and obviously now. I'm very very much attuned to what's going on and pay attention to the premier league but no soccer. I've always grown up playing american football and track and field on so this was this was an interesting In endeavor for me but sports sports. And i know you know what sports can do to communities. I've been on teams like the saints. The the eagles that have you know been really those cornerstones of the communities and barnard the same way and so a lot of those things you know that. I'm still kind of learning the game but the core principles of why we wanted to be a part of. This are very much familiar to me. So will you be passive investor. Will you get involved. I mean it. You know in sports so well and you being an athlete. Will you get involved in any of the player movement. Obviously you're not an expert on the talent but all over there in terms of winning but in terms of front office management any involvement there. Now i don't i don't really have a lot of interest in in getting evolve player you know movement and the day to day of the team is doing but when it comes to you know especially how to bring the burnley brand of the premier league brand here to the states and really Amplify that with that team is doing the principles in ethos of the t- That i am having a voice. You know it wasn't one of those things where i just want to put my money into something and walk away from it. I wanted to be able to be engaged. Not only way the only the ownership group but the the entire club. I don't need to be a gm or anything like that. They've got that do for a living but as far as the building of the brand messaging..

"This week you're going to hear a couple rants for me about things going on out there. And then we're going to bring in malcolm jenkins the new orleans saints well known figure in the nfl for so many years with the same then the eagles now back with the saints. He's got a new venture. I'm gonna tell you right now. You gotta listen. It is amazing what he's doing right now outside football in another world of football something. They call football in different places. We'll get to that in a minute. We're sponsored always by draft kings. And i want to get to my i rent. It's about ben. Simmons yes the nba starts. Tonight actually started last night. I'm recording this on wednesday but it starts for the philadelphia seventy sixers tonight without one. Ben simmons for those. You haven't followed off season. Didn't want to be here Word from his agent. He'll never set foot in philadelphia. Where i'm coming to you from. But loma hold the sixers advantage of the contract so the contracts said that he gets quarterly instalments of his money. Thirty three million dollars. Eight point two five million every quarter. The eight point two five. He got the summer. That's is than eight point. Two five million to october the sixers said. Hey we're gonna take that. Eighteen five million or to keep it as a fun for any fines or suspension amounts that you incur and they kept it in escrow escrow advantage sixers so low behold guess who shows up last week. Ben simmons who said he'd never played philadelphia. That's the easy part. Then they get into practice. And simmons is non engaged in similar. Exacting lady doesn't wanna be there in. Simmons doesn't go in the drills and he is sent home in suspended for tonight's opening game against new orleans. Pelicans now my insight into this is really the fact that simmons does not have leverage. You i know people say he's going to be a pain in the ass until the sixers trade him and he's going to force a trade and he's going to manage the situation while the problem is he's got four years left on his contract. This is not a creation. So ben simmons has to deal with the fact that he's got they got his money and he's got Contract that's where it gets difficult now..

"Rent for. I don't know if i disagree with you. I'm swapping burnley bradford and sticking with his i think burnley burnley's the second or the third worst i think bradford and are going to be way off by the end of this thing. I think the only team saying this. I'm taking my bias. At off to say this dealer team that i would throw in the mix there other than obviously newcastle will be offered riverbed for that bad but look at the other teams at the bottom of the table right now leads arsenal southampton wolves villa. I mean those are all teams. I think villas stink. Say leads leads as my thirteen. Just really flat half half of what they were last year. And i don't know if it's burn out or just locker. I don't think they obviously end there right right. Now they're form. I think they would really flat keep in mind so shero zero against liverpool when they lost the the strike or whatever knows what no one no okay but it that game you know lou. The whole lot different. After he was gone agreed agreed Leads is a good show. Tommy actually you know like a team. That has i mean. We all fell in love with them. But didn't we feel that some people may feel that way about sheffield united. After a great season. Come up you have a great first season in that second season bounce just pigs now. I remember them. They're pine city this time last year. And they had half of the city team on the knees after seventy minutes. Gas doesn't feel the same hyper impetus power that. They're putting teams. I were like that. i like that. I'm gonna keep an eye on that now. Because leads going down would be very very good back at this moment like value is that you could get some good money for that interesting right there. Are i think everybody's done the power rankings. This point now. Let's talk about the weekend preview. If we absolutely must you're gonna get smoked. Oh my god. I want to talk about this. So tottenham and chelsea is the beginning of the weekend on sunday No go ahead. Go ahead on anybody can i. I'll try and make some try and put some thoughts together Who we're going to get worked. Probably if there is one thing that's going in our favor. It's that we've shown that we can play against better teams. We beat city one zero the first week of season but yeah. I don't see that happening again. I just i thought that like city system actually worked out well against us because they don't really have that number nine if we don't have their dire in the back. I don't even know who's going to be setbacks. So lou copy was just going to absolutely manhandle us and i think son probably is not going to be ready. That's just a guest. And if he's not ready. I mean like no chance i would take out take chelsea to win by three goals. If we don't have son said i you can get it at minus one twenty five for chelsea to what we isn't this. Why you have those just a nil-nil the.

Will Liverpool, Leicester or Chelsea Qualify for the UCL?

"Let's start at. What was i think. Effectively may not turn out to be this way chelsea could still go out but a play off for the champions league between chelsea and leicester city it's bridge was a replay of the game on saturday. Then you have a cup final Homemade some not all of the same choices including putting my man reese james in the back three convince And chelsea one. I think in the end it was to wind. And you could say maybe you're gonna start at the end but i thought chelsea really really dominated the day. That was their god. They were after they were really fantastic at times. In the way they build up the movement away from the back under pressure at times. I still alice the plate for draw. And maybe i'm wrong. Maybe that's not. That was the idea. But he's certainly felt like that in in the team that selected with natural on the bench in the way they played in the weather priced. Look to me via merged lockheed. Very happy with that was fair well. Madison came in. So we can have madison. I thought was really poor. I don't think he's fully fit. Maybe no he's on your hard if you play for a draw to to have my against a team like this against him chetty like this to to to expect too much from madison. Nothing the upshot of all this is that we're set up for one of those end of the season kinda three way runs but three-way dances chelsea are playing away to aston villa. A win guarantees them. A champions league. Place is only going to be easy at all we'll get on to this lester. I'm liverpool liverpool beating burnley three now essentially if they both way and they're gonna finish level on points it's going to be decided by goal difference and liverpool now have an edge of four goals in the goal difference so so liver put up again chris perez. That's right liverpool roy. Hodgson his final his final game. He loved to put one over liverpool and less spurs. Who can still still have to play for your petty place. Yeah so clearly lester. Greatly advantage giving. Now just kidding kidding

"Dance in the wind. Bidding farewell to the bodies no longer centering their enveloping embrace a morris code supplicating the silence a noisy universe offers anguished nations losing one sister needing answers and preventions missing from clotheslines fiber optic lifelines connecting emptied dresses. Who's read now. A reminder of derogatory references turning deadly in dehumanizing efficacy still pushing against enduring forces were erasure now reminiscence of the vibrancy that imbued. They're criss crossed weaving like you. That's such a powerful thank you. I read it several times at apart being quite take a bite. This power ole circling around this image all dresses that have kept on bodies. That was very much in my mind as i read. This does are present. Act so my first question to since the way that you execute this is so seamless in terms of the two ideas. We trouble against it. The idea of communication accommodation which is thus in scope because it's really the whole universe countries an intimate olsen. How did you settle on the true crime berry images that rub up against each other at this point in the communication tressler the force. Okay so i wish. I these were my original ideas to factors M i w g means missing murdered indigenous women and girls and twenty twenty was obviously last year so i wrote this in commemoration for may fourth which is is a day on which indigenous nations and allies. Try to bring attention to the fact that they are eight outside number of missing murder indigenous women and children that are not getting enough attention. Because they're not getting enough attention. The resources are not spent two eight count. Exactly how many missing a b. to put efforts into prevention of what's happening and obviously as any case like this those who are more marginalized tends to be Indigenous peoples of darker color. And also those who are non binary people So stor unfortunately is a hierarchy in that as well. Red dresses is used to commemorate the end i. It started with a belief. A canadian indigenous female identify person artists. Who decided to use the red which i believe is a symbol of courage as red as symbolize all the world as you know something that's life force and so she started using. The red dress comes from that and it's become very popular as a symbol for that people dress in red in order to commemorate that day maith morse code. I don't know if he no but during world war two the us government leverage a diverse but also navajo nation language. Donate bizarre especially. We is well known for that. Use their language as unbreakable code to i think a compliment. Moore's coat You know in order to defeat the axis powers. So that's where the motors co concept comes in. even though it's not morse code. I had thought when i first wrote this poem that it has supplanted morse code but when in fact it did not but i left to ask. Moore's kobe because it just sounded better. And it's more familiar concept for people to grab onto so those are the where the to come from Somehow there is the history of the whole picture of. I think it it made me think about again. The distinction between indigenous people at the loss of territory than loss of rights the first nations people. Actually what that really means. So could you share a bit more about of course this visible. It's not just people big wiped-out but it's particularly been people as you've said all a particular agenda feminine identify people or not binary can you share a little bit y. You'll think this is being accepted at white. This kind of trauma is practically invisible. So i am mentioned when we were talking about your poem about the cause and effect a little bit. And i think does again as people have a tendency of using affect to deduce 'cause and because life doesn't work the way human minds work people will get things wrong so from what i've read of the cases and i am not an expert at is that because of the way that indigenous peoples have been marginalized their land being taken away their culture being erase actively erase by placing them in these unquote schools where they were beaten or worse for speaking their language languages their hair was cut to quote unquote civilized them. There is a famous saying. That says killed indian now the man which is behind these boarding schools that are more recognized in canada than in the us. These atrocities were committed. That would fit into the un steph addition of genocide because of these trans generational traumas some indigenous. People are very much affected by psychologically as coping perhaps state attorney to substance abuse or because their way of life no longer are in existence. Many are forced to live on reservations where the infrastructure really doesn't exist very much the they're being built up now a little bit more you see. I don't know if you saw in the news of how cove it has. Dramatically lopsidedly effected decimated the indigenous population over the past year as well as other people's color. Because of this lack infrastructure and the same lack of infrastructure means that a lot of people turn to societally unaccepted ways of earning a living some become sex workers.

"If they could. That's report. no no i you know. I think we agree on this point in that. And i remember the first time i read in a large newspaper in the us. The new york times would have had enormous influence over especially more elite crowd. And it really just anger me so much that they decided to use their platform to proliferate this particular term and i really can't stand the idea that people throw the term migrant around and even even human rights organizations now have taken up the term because it just sanitises the atrocities that people have to face in order to induce them to leave their homes. Yes it probably have read all heard or century read of where this line has been quoted over over again wishy space. No one gives a missile is the mouth of a shock. No one wants their child to a boat. Walter is safer now really struck me that people don't usually yeah. Yeah i think from the individual to the collective diseases overwhelmingly tool and i think for people who have experienced things like domestic violence or childhood trauma childhood abuse. There is a equivalence there where you feel like the people that you thought you could trust. That could provide you with this. Ability are actually not those people in that unique to seek your sanctuary elsewhere and refugees is a collective outcome of someplace that but more on a statewide level at just boggles the mind that we as twenty first century. Humans still do not understand how our modern world is form by these migrations while it's true though we didn't have cleans and faster vessels to bring stu places of furthers end of the world from where we originate it in the fastest way as possible. You know thousands of years ago. The fact is we always migrated. This is how the human human world has taken the shape that it has. It just drives me crazy. That people don't realize that don't think about that. Fact is a continuous speculation. Going on autho information shaping. The way that we come to see the world as a connective was wailed. I suppose that it helps us to justify while selves why we put up with search and find other things in total. Yeah i think so as well. And i also think again going back to something upset over and over again. Is that we as a species have certain limitations that we both need to acknowledge and address and that is our incapacity to pay attention to everything at the same time we have mental limits. And so i think that underlying human condition or i guess a living species condition probably also makes it a a sort of a uphill fight to think of human beings that we don't necessarily come across that often in inclusive term or even other planet natori species in a more inclusive term and seeing the bigger picture. So that's definitely something that we always have to fight against and it's a constant struggle especially when a lot of us are not even aware of the problem. I think on some level. I definitely agree that it is at manipulated to keep us In that sort of ignorance date for the gain of a few who benefit from that experience. It's interesting that you say that because you mentioned two things that are really relevant. One these mountain villages which are being about because people are just not able to limit them all year round. The mountains intervened the world areas as able to the city because young able to find it so interesting to farm anymore. Quiet life villages an actually italy they is the reverse trend rats are these villages have welcomed refugees with open arms that the villages looking quite different several villages Look quite different. There are laws which permit farmers access to public land so that if any refugees boost for this village is the farm and they are really successful. Stories people from the for instance if european woman old kamer hugely successful coach former Hundred eighteen goats chiro. In a small town on your fault village and of course the reason i know about this story because the local people local activists there they raised quite as about the beer but town was absolutely shocked. He really very very publicly on this widespread attitude. I think the pope also wrote something about it so on the ground. of course there is action on. Counterfactual is not as if there is one on it. let's italy is a mollet. They have trends or all across the world Quite harsh authoritarian force using politics. Of course there's also.

"Off the majority. I think horace they are individuals clash each other. But if i have experience which is difficult with a white european. I'm not allowed to its logical. Think factor experience. Unless it's direct racial discrimination. I normally would not see the race. All acts against society mentioned in connection with the tongue. Because this won't vote that they racist proud of being left. This is that you notice. This is minorities racialized being held to represent while they are permitted individual and with the roma as well the official of the legal forcible staving stipple. What strikes me is once. Faith in human is in that way it has been considered. The big aren't subject to the same rules of behavior as everybody else. That's why it was quite okay. The children that each saw that was quite not care. That young girls were life. And i remember from my personal experience on each s. Well seeing a body wrapped up under the Kind of a beach petaluma. I think it was just covered up the week. And i was shocked because i was walking along with my trump asked. I was trying to understand is that was. I was mind recuse. What's up. But i couldn't think of what else it would be Yeah so knowing that they are lots of votes thing. Small boats out there the mediterranean which are not being rescued with the guido knowing that they're also took during every year. I am struck by the fact that if you have between one group and another group over grazing because houseboy too. Far of the farber of italy comes out with a stick tries to drive cows away of That's put this is the raccoon of the rural areas but in europe where the these luncheons or fix his european states which have not to protect Statistics it's quite. Yeah it really is. I think as an american thinking of europe there is this idea especially as a liberal american thinking europe. There is an idea that your overall is much more liberal. Obviously the past ten years has become or drag towards the more right wing more extremists just as we see here in the us. As well i think is a very important point and that you made about italy and italian citizenship. Because i think even ask as of now. Italian citizenship is through blood Marriage i know of stories of eastern europeans who been in italy for generations. Who are not allowed to be called italian who cannot obtain that citizenship because of how it's defined which is also interesting because it goes back to this idea of ethno-nationalism that you touched on. It is imported point. I think that's the right to citizenship. Is the kind of primary dividing line. Because of course the concept of the nation state is owned estates. That's ruled by law. At a state which protects certain rights move its citizens in exchange for the loyalty of their participation in the framework that the state has stopped establishes at everybody who falls outside eight. The protector of the state has to manage for themselves. So somehow the rights that we elect to think about as metro rights glowing to all human beings end up actually reserved for citizens but not just citizens citizens. Oh particular particularities right at. Perhaps the two hundred years ago with they shouldn't state came into existence as very young. He is also absolute trouble. But today people have much actual mobile add so if your rights are sorta mentioned at so depending on where your board depending on who you're genetically related to run your these rights so for people who already have these rights to have those rights taken away. I think it's quite frankly. Yeah yeah and i think these idea of a natural rights is not believed or maybe not belief asked firmly globally. Speaking i think with the body the existence of a body like a un for instance to member states may sign onto pieces of paper that Declare certain natural rights but it is also very modern concept that or one that we seek more about on a larger massive basis to judge. I don't think it's something that is as recognize even now. And so you do see the fluctuation of -application depending on nation depending on state or regions within nations as well This idea and also there are the unstated end. Explicitly stated and people don't necessarily abide by the explicitly stated. Go with what they're brought up with. Stay fall back on it. Almost on instinct as well. I also find it very ironic especially given the current topic that we're talking about that you know. There are currently italian. Towns are desperate for people to come repopulate. Because i think italy is one of those countries that have a falling birth rate along with many western european countries and also because there's a flight from rural areas into more populated city areas so there's this irony of abandoned towns. Abandoned houses are going very cheap cheaply right at the same time. A long italian borders especially bordering the sea but also land borders. There are these strict restrictions aganst refugees coming in. And i hate the word migrant. Because i feel like it's a term that's been cleaned to help people avoid thinking about those who come in especially on those dinghies that they're forced to come in because they have to flee they have no choice but to flee where they would prefer.

"Of language that had been used about the roma at sixty minority emmy. I mean all across europe edge of this particular case was innocent because they are very very alliance. Also people and us your boyd ups. Worldwide are not given the dignity of either the individual personnel of eight or collectively. So they were in airports. Be italy cold. What we mcleish would say chips. Furthest cody scotland at the time. Which was a right wing government of course as with most of the governments in order to become popular at consistency demonized empty all generalized groups. All racial ethnic cultural minorities instarem. Yeah it was particularly strong so until now. They're still fingerprinting romney. That children and i was struck by also because of the idea of children being innocent of them just being children. When i was writing the i struggled a lot about vote naming on not naming these children. And i went into with not naming them. Somehow i felt assis- it would be a further indignity to name them in such an unbearable. I couldn't actually write it longer. I usually right block that works. But i found bearable to right so i stopped quite quickly when i did the research. I realized that it's a phenomenon. Probably worldwide but certainly europe-wide i on several cases where people on these beaches would be initially insult curious but very quickly they would go back to the normal activities and so even the children cope played. Just you did not find it. Strange that they should be fourteen herald at a sixteen year old stretched out under each towels just before that they be selling trinkets at the beginning. This is also very normal. There are people who walk along and go peddle schools things to people who are sunbathing. So there's very clearly a difference between people who can afford to pay for terrain to us face with an umbrella there and have other people usually immigrants coming on and give them massages or seldom sunglasses and so really for me. It was a very clear distinction that the people of the beach made between whose death could be ignored and could not. Because i could not imagine that if a human being was in that situation at the end of their life that the crowd around them treat their death was such a difference for me. It was a clear distinction between or is considered human amboise considered. This happened in two thousand and eight is august report in two thousand fourteen. And i didn't write. I wrote then nonfiction piece about it but i didn't write a pull until very recently. I think i wrote it the week before. I accepted to the third thing which occurred to me while i was writing when i looked at how similar drownings had occurred because of course the major crisis off the coast of italy the mediterranean now which is called migration crisis for europe but which is really messed death of the military Is sofa people in small boats being denied series you which is on international obligations uh-huh by europe action by the agencies. We try to charge the coast gut services under european order. Agents was these things which i was thinking about this sort of soil of which At your palm at despite knowing some other discrimination that the roma has faced for instance. I don't think a lot of people know that they were also put in concentration camps during world war two during the holocaust and they were killed by the thousands. I don't think enough people know no that fact and as she said throughout europe they been discriminated against even now. It's one that i remember. I think the first time. I was about to go to paris. Someone i news will who lose a good chunk of time in europe has said to me be careful of the gypsies. That's what she said. I have had unpleasant encounters at the same time. You always wonder about cause and effect and i also wonder about since this is an area of interest for you as well how people interact with each other especially people who live fundamentally different lifestyles because the roma are migratory people and we as a species over all majority of us live in a much more sedentary lifestyle in modern days and i think the roma and how they are being treated the fundamental lifestyle. Differences plays a part to it the fact that they leave. According to wikipedia originally day came from india and i remember reading similar clashes between people who are sedentary in people who are migratory or more migratory or maybe a hurting communities versus farming communities in sub saharan african countries. sometimes the clashes come with grazing rights and such so. I wonder if that's something that's come up in your research interesting points. So of course people are generally ill as robot are actually different groups because the names which they uphold our definitions from I recently was thinking about this concept of what people are actually cold in nigeria for extensive the euro. Aw one of the three largest groups nigeria. That name is a name which was given to them by another group of people outside their territory and it simply means those. What happened is during the time. The british six this nate more a number of very very dispirit people living with particular territory because this was By external force people educated thinking themselves as belonging. I did so. It's hardly employer of the tonight. On what the people who political activists within the robots to is that they've asked not recalled for instance at the pointed out that it's a really small minority old still.

"Amuses bring with your your poem. Ask mrs manners about roma children before we get to. That will love you to tell us. A little bit about yourself has been active. Was a writer own theory for the last seven or eight years. I write of course. Poetry have experimented a spectrum between prose poetry at flash fiction. I like experimental. I liked to experiment myself as a writer. So i'm always learning Hopefully always growing aiba feminist of politically active more ant movement building that frontline activism for fifteen twenty years now mireille of core interest. What makes me feel alive is looking at human relationship rigging at where we connect to each other. Sometimes that comes through it my butchering on its invigorating. You kind of infuses it with resilience at sometimes like that's so much so that's me. I feel like certainly a poem that you've raw with today. Shows that side of your work since you transitioned into writing a years ago if you can tell us when you began writing poetry very i i have to confess. I a eight and i know that exactly because i father had just retired and we had moved back to parents hope town. I caught up in the morning on morning. And might you bunk beds up wrote this poem long or which i showed to my mother who is an english literature or should i say an english literature teacher teacher trainer but also aspiring her cell. I showed her this boat which she was very positive about. But when i think about how i think she she was obviously a mother teacher up to be as well that would have been my first vote but then there were many years Before i came back okay. Do you remember what the poem was about. It is imprinted on my mind. Liverpool Crash and Burn

"Liverpool losing to burnley by final score of one nil a late penalty for ashley. Barnes the difference and this result significant on so many levels for matches in a row without a goal in the league for liverpool a sixty eight match. Home unbeaten streak snapped. You gotta go back to early. Two thousand seventeen almost four years ago for the last time liverpool lost a premier league game at anfield. They now six points off the league lead from our perspective. We welcome in stuart robson shock his lob julian the ron robbo all start with you. What's gone wrong at liverpool. Well in the last few games the final pass hasn't been quite good enough. They played with the fluency today. They go to into some very good areas. I mean trent alexander. Arnold must have had the ball twenty thirty times inside the burnley box with time to pick out across play cross into the box and he picked out the wrong option and the movement in the box. Particularly the first of wasn't good enough. You wanted to come short at times and rather mike dynamic hawksley Was on the right hand. Side is not really a front. Bless we've moved wasn't great in the box amani trying to the runs the deliveries from trent alexander. Arnold were good enough. He should've just been whipping booze. The goalkeeper in the back four and allowing people to mike runs into it. He was trying to pick people up. So they're they're lacking confidence at the moment you can tell that guy moron and other disappointing display from the shock. It wasn't for a shortage of opportunities. Perhaps nothing more symbolic liverpool recently than that. Remiss handed an opportunity and couldn't put it in. Yeah it was a rather ridiculous defensive era that the letter again and yet a lot of ground to cover before taking the chance on and let's be honest as good. As as nick pool was all game long. he shouldn't have said a chance to we. Went for a little bit too much. Pays the crossbar kind of some some liverpool up over recent weeks. They've been getting opportunities. But i just feel too many in that squad seem to have misplaced the shooting boot

"It was great actually to hear the the commentary team Martin Tyler and Alan Smith how many times you heard them? Do one of your games that happens in real life, but he made the point like kind of 30 minutes in I was watching it. I had the same thought which is Chelsea haven't put that much together in terms of the wage. Team over know when a penalty but I thought actually Ren was doing pretty well considering they're without their best player Eduardo come of Inga and the fact that they were still able to win three-nil off and exert that dominance right there just over there blowing teams away with their talent and that's not something they were able to do last season and that's part of that kind of unicorn lineup that you mention the fact that you haven't even gotten to it yet that you know Harvard's tested positive that plastic got injured and you're still able to throw out Vernor and z and mount and Tammy Abraham and and these guys that are immensely talented reach James doing work from the right page Mobile another Stellar performance. They still have things that they can put together from an attacking point of view and the overwhelming feeling you get watching Chelsea right now. Is there solid right and it's not even just I mean we can talk about social and their additions it's throughout the team and that's a surprise to me cuz it's not really a change in Personnel throughout the team, right? It's a lot of the same guys that featured last season or flare players and yet. Just looks so much more solid even though we've talked about mending his clean sheet run. Its they don't even give away that many chances when Ren are controlling the game a little bit. They're not giving away chances. It's remarkable how solid they become in the space of a few weeks it got off to a rocky start without West Brom howler from Thiago Silva, but he's settling in and we were wondering with all the money that Chelsea were spending. How are they going to address obvious issues along that back line? There was inconsistency that you're seeing this here from Kurt zouma who's been an absolute beast in the air. He was the best of bad options in the air from a central Defender sneak point last year. Now. He's just killing and he's scoring goals the way that John Terry did I mean powerful headers really impressive stuff there and Thiago Silva, none of us really had that pegged bit of a youth movement. I don't know if you've noticed that Chelsea a thirty-six-year-old Thiago Silva on a free transfer really wasn't something that we accounted for and it's a stroke of Brilliance wage. Says from Rena better check and Frank Lampard to bring him in Frank Lampard. Obviously trusted player hands him the captain's armband sort of immediately upon his first Premier League start Thiago. Silva has regressed me over these last few matches. We've given the back line shine. I want to talk about Tammy Abraham right now because it would have been very easy for Tammy Abraham to be a malcontent be upset about wage the record signings and Timo Verner obviously coming in the threaten his position. I know that there was contract extension talks and never ended up getting a deal taming Abraham was really good around this point last year. He was arguably the hottest goal scorer in the Premier League and looked like Chelsea had not just solved the number nine curse, but ahead found their Striker for the next several years and then this move for Teemo verner's sort of Falls in Chelsea's lap. After clapping Liverpool drag their feet Tammy Abraham Saison competes doesn't try to force a transfer off. And he has now scored in three consecutive Champions League match first player to do that since William and an 11 appearances for Chelsea this season 8 Gold Plus assist so eight gold contributions wage is the tally a gold contribution every 15 minutes from Tammy Abraham..

We're waiting to see what's been done with that money, and the district attorney from their role tour is going to be giving it. Special presentation to the Legislative Finance Committee detailing exactly what he's done with his supplemental funding believe that's going to be December 12. In Santa Fe. So that's happening and we have provided and will continue to try to provide funding for additional police officers. Working with Dona Ana Berlioz's Tennessee counties. In the city's in those counties to see what we can do, Teo boost Uh, law enforcement numbers. It's all three. And lastly, we are just now starting the process. Of standing up. At New Mexico Tech. Which I have to mention for the sake of the viewers of my that No New Mexico Tech is the top 10 is in the top 10. Universities in the entire country. When it comes to data analytics and cyber security. It's right up there with Mitt and Harvey Mudd and Caltech. The end. So when we're standing up Data Analytics program there, it's going to be able to tell us In a way that we've never had before. What criminal justice reforms were? Which one Don't which communities are getting safer and why, but that takes a big effort. I don't want to make decisions based on God, you know, I agree. No angry. All right. And and New Mexico Tech is above all of those schools when it comes to space flight will be doing the show down. Spaceport America on Monday, December, the second doing great stuff down there. So we're about out of time. Can you give me a 62nd answer Speaker on legalizing recreational marijuana? Will it happen in the 30 day session? Best guess one. Ah, coin toss. Wait, I'll tell you the same thing. I told my colleagues in the governor, which is it passed the house narrowing and if we're going to take it up this session I would like to have the bills start in the Senate. I'm thinking that you know, right? Because you know I don't want to take it. But waste your time, right? Right. So if it's so the bill will come in the Senate if it passes the Senate And then I think we'll be able to get it up to the governor. But I I don't know enough about what happened with the dynamics over in the other chamber to know how likely it is to catch Mr Speaker. Thank you for your time. Happy all of this. In Albuquerque, Burnley oh county on the bail bond reform. And catch and release in a bunch of type thing based on what I know and people I've talked to is pretty much. Not an issue. Anyway. A lot of pushback today. Joe mon- hands blog. Against the district. Attorney in Berlin candy. Good thing. He just wants to point fingers at everybody else. If it's this phony pastor, Stephen Anderson just banned from another country overseas, and that would be Ireland having threatened the president having I think threaten Hillary Clinton any hates gays, and he just wants people to die. You know, you wanna have an aid free world, you have to kill all the gays and all yeah. You know, real real man of God. Crazy people the twenty five males who voted for the all abortion ban in Alabama. We need to boycott the hell out of Alabama. There abortion Bill puts gives more rights more right to a say, a father committing incest or a rapist. Then it does to the victims. You're in Alabama leave your there on business there, and pleasure pack your bags and leave. No excuse not to well. I guess unless you agree with them. Hey women. So Donald Trump supporters. I think. Think he's you know, like on this huge winning streak. He's still as unpopular as ever still about forty forty one percent. And a liar to boot over ten thousand documented lies. In a little over two years in office. He lied about his business. He's lies about his taxes. He lies about his properties. Trump towers in New York City. Is becoming more and more vacant by the day. People are selling their condos there, -partment, whatever they have in Trump Tower, not just selling. They're selling for an average of twenty percent loss because they want to get the hell out of the building. And nobody's moving. You know, obviously, it's not exactly a property that the average person wouldn't live in with the barriers and secret service and machine guns. He's not a nice thing to go home to every day. People are getting out in droves and not Reni not buying in Trump towers in New York City. On the average are losing willing to get out and lose twenty percent of the cost of their condo. And Trump towers, not the only Trump business. It is.

"The Provo code overtime. You get like fifty percent off your first sign up or something like that. Pretty fucking sick. I love my bookie. I'm getting back into sports betting. I've been doing a little March madness. But now the Premier League's back. I'm not going to bet international break because they're just like Marin personally like fuck. I don't know what I'm gonna kick. His teams are not even playing they own their full roster. I feel like teams aren't going like one hundred percent. So I never really bet the international breaks. I think it's just like a crap shoot. Do you agree? It's like betting on bowling. You don't watch bowling. You. Don't know who to bed for. On that. I mean, I watch break. But like, I just don't know what what product I'm going to get with these games. So we have main city versus Fulham or myth, Lester Waterford menu Huddersfield town. Crystal Palace Wolfer Hampton wolves Burnley Southampton versus Brian Everton West Ham. Then we got on Sunday that those were the Saturday matches Martin just me I'm getting chills. Just just naming all the teams again like. Back getting fucking goosebumps. All right Sunday, we got Chelsea card of and then the big boy for strap on your big boy pants Tottenham Liverpool. Baby. This could this could be the title right here. Martin could it could could Tottenham spoil it for Liverpool. And then Monday, we have Newcastle arsenal. And then we have weak. Got burping. So I I'm on me like second PBR already, and it's just a very gassy..

Chelsea and Tottenham battle to keep their flatlining seasons alive

"Wednesday three o'clock. This is probably the one that you'll be circling for your mid week slate, you be circling Chelsea and Spurs someone is really gonna feel bad about themselves. When this once, I know will it be you. Recent history will tell you. Yeah. Probably the bridge too. Yeah. Typically, not fared well there. Yeah. I wouldn't I wouldn't like to actually call this one. 'cause I'm sure there's a little bit of residuals from the weekend that will impact this game two and boy Tottenham they just they keep getting themselves to the edge, and they just refuse to take that next step. They just can't do it. I don't know what it is got dashed like they did in a year where Burnley has not been Burnley like the, you know, sound defensively nine there were a little bit more resurgent known in the last couple of months. Did you watch any of the Tottenham Burlingame? I only saw highlight because there were two refereeing decisions that came under the microscope in this. It was Mike dean, of course, it was obviously. But there was the one that led to Burnley's first goal when they ruled it out a play on for Tongan gave Burnley corner that was a tough one even on the replay. I mean, it was definitely gone on the Bernie prayers. It was a goal kick. It set here and argue for an hour about handballs on the. That one didn't out on Burnley should be Tommy defend the corner web, though, did you know, no, they didn't. And then the one that like people want to use this as okay, we're even now because Danny rose took the throw in five yards further up field, and where it should have been. No, that's what we're going to start. The way will be like they were agrees of wrong and getting a corner kick off which the opposition scores. Getting that decision wrong and the stealing of yards from throwing which as. Like, there's I don't even know what the rule is. It's just whatever the linesmen referee goes back it. I mean, they're always step stolen north in ever happens from where it should of like booing, Danny rose every time he touch the ball. You throw in faith. The eight you will tell you. What though when I saw Harry Kane and the team sheet, I was like really is this necessary we've seen this before. But then he goes out plays. The goal is scored it not as I touch his second touch was amazing incredible. For just see how he's going to respond to that. No. I I just think with lingered and an and Kane who I am not having a go at medical professionals. I'm just saying what is the Rocher especially to when you're in the Champions League against Bruce Dortmund three-goal advantage or not. I don't care like you got to play your best team for that game. You've got Chelsea mid week, which is more important. I think than Burnley. I don't know. I was I was a little bit surprised to see his name on there. Now, they will have a little bit of a break out of the FA Cup, obviously. But yet I'm trying to just kind of enjoy Tottenham for what it is right now, they're not going to win the league. They're probably still going to like top four is not set in stone, obviously. But I feel good about the seven per China champion grow. No, right. Like one enjoy the. Champions League just in. This is a big win against Chelsea like just enjoy life showing your life as a Spurs. Yeah. Try not to let that Burnley game ruined. My my day it ruined several hours afterwards. But you move on because this season is what it is. And like try to enjoy this
