"Gomez was a tall man, though you can tell he used to be even taller. He has a deeply lined face and a white bottle brush mustache. He used to be a firefighter, so his family and friends sometimes call him chief. Juan Gonzalez is already at the house, and misses Gomez is around two. She's short and wears her dark brown hair in a bob. I feel her wariness. But she's polite and says hello. Even though she doesn't want to be recorded. We all sit unfolding chairs in the front yard. Mister Gomez says they've lived in this house since 1973. He points out 6 Italian cypress trees that he planted almost 50 years ago. One for each member of his family. And I'm not even at the end. Eddie, Oscar's younger brother, joins us a little ways in. How's it going, Eddie? Seeing Eddie is a jolt because he looks a lot like the photos of young Oscar, except Eddie got to grow the middle age. He says he loved growing up here. Their house was a magnet for the neighborhood kids. We all knew each other. We all played together. We all like they were composed with a couple of my parents, and it was safe. You know, that street light would come on, it would be like time to go home. Misses Gomez chimes in that the grass in the front lawn was always dead because the neighborhood kids used it as a baseball diamond. She once counted as many as 17 kids buzzing around the front. But a lot of these kids growing up, they didn't have what we had, I think that's why they enjoyed coming over here so much because they saw the love that my mom would give and I think that's why because we kind of gave them that love that kind of what they were missing in their home. I asked mister Gomez to tell me a story about Oscar as a teenager. He started working really young. He started working at Burger King, and his friends would go, they knew that he was working there. So they would go in, and he gave him all free hamburgers. Everybody showed up. Well, he didn't last long. He got fired. You know? So misses Gomez gets up and heads into the house. A few minutes later, she comes back with a wooden plaque. Teenage Oscar is smiling at us in a sports coat and skinny tie. Put Oscar over there. Above his picture I read Baldwin Park, high school, scholar, athlete of the year, and underneath Oscar is a list of his accomplishments. Junior class president football baseball. He was a wrestler, too? In high school? Oh my God. They put the plaque on an empty chair next to me. It feels like Oscar's watching us. You know, at school. At school he was always like admired and the teacher's always liked him. Especially if he was sick, they would come here and bring him his homework and they never did that for.

Are You Ready for the PHD Weight Loss Nutrition Program?

"COVID. You just want to get healthy. You want to take off ten, 20, 40, 50 pounds, my son, Brian said, dad, how have you been losing this weight? I said it's called PhD weight loss and nutrition. He said, well, I need to lose about 2021 pounds. Yep, he hit his goal last week. 21 pounds of weight loss for my oldest son. This is an extraordinary program. And you got to be ready to make the commitment. You're never hungry? I had a nice turkey burger last night with some mozzarella cheese. I had cauliflower slices instead of buns because you don't eat bread or buns. Sometimes I feel like a big, I feel like a big quarter pounder with cheese. I get the quarter pounder with cheese and I go get the cauliflower slices and put the quarter powdered cheese between those two slices and they taste great and that's all approved. I mean, I could go all day long on the food to eat. I had the PhD oatmeal this morning with some half and half. Apple cinnamon oatmeal. Scrambled eggs, here's what it starts with the phone call to make to book your consultation. Here's their number. 8 6 four two 5 two 49 25. You could write it down 8 6 four two 5 two 49 25 or just go online, their website is my PhD weight

The Substitution Effect Can't Happen With Baby Formula

"This is not like the price of steak going up You know we have this thing in economics called the substitution effect You probably heard of it The substitution effect can mitigate the effects of industry specific inflation So let's say there was some catastrophic chicken disease okay And the chicken population gets wiped out You'll see chicken go up in price because it would be hard to find Everyone tracking it doesn't necessarily mean there's a monetary or financial problem It just means maybe in that industry that happened That's not what we're seeing now We're seeing widespread inflation But there's a substitution effect What happens when the chicken price goes up then it's unique to that specific industries people buy pork people buy hams people buy steak people buy tofu burgers they substitute other things Just look it up It's called the substitution thing It's not complicated It's simple stuff Folks the problem with baby food is there is no freaking substitution effect What are you going to do Give the baby chicken nuggets What are you going to feed the baby a whopper From Burger King the baby's three months old It's GI tract hasn't matured What are you going to feed the baby a protein shake Do not do that There's nothing you can do

James Freeman: Thank You, McDonald’s

"So James Freeman is a column It's a pretty good column He covers a multitude of different stories That's why you can never really go by the headline But the piece in The Wall Street Journal called thank you McDonald's It goes on about the burger chain and stuff But at the end he diverts a bit into this student loan topic And he covers a tweet by a guy named Adam ozimek He's of the economic innovation group and he tweeted this about this student loan scandal Quote if we're forgiving student debt because the student got a bad deal The program that they went to should be banned from student loans If the degree they got pays for itself then they don't need forgiveness And if it doesn't access to that program shouldn't be subsidized in the future Yes Yes Thank you Adam as a Mac Very well done Good job Let's go through that line by line If we're forgiving student debt because the student got a bad deal In other words some school ripped them off Okay fine people get ripped off all the time Then that institution university whatever it is scam factory should be banned from the program forever and should no longer get taxpayer funded student loans If the degree they got pays for itself then they don't need forgiveness So what's the point And if it doesn't access to that program shouldn't be subsidized in the future Brilliant

Ghost Kitchen (MM #4037)

"The mason minute. With Kevin mason. There's a phrase in the food and beverage restaurant, even delivery industry. You're going to be hearing more about the coming years. It's called the ghost kitchen. A ghost kitchen is basically a kitchen and a warehouse, if you will, where the people at the grill make all sorts of different types of food. And what I'm reading about is restaurants, fast food places like Taco Bell, like McDonald's, all doing these kitchens where they don't have drive up customers, they're strictly creating these kitchens for delivery sake. So if you get your McDonald's or your Burger King or your pizza delivered, it's not coming from a store necessarily. It's coming from a ghost kitchen. Then some of these kitchens are even pretending to make these foods. I've got a friend who's getting involved in the ghost kitchen industry. And he won't talk a lot about it because it's got a hush hush right now, but I'm reading more about ghost kitchens here in Nashville. And it's going to get very interesting. I have a feeling. Ghost kitchens could be the future of food delivery. Could be the future of restaurants in general because nobody wants to go sit in a restaurant anymore. You can't find help. You can't find service and the food just isn't as good as it used to be. An interesting thought.

Senator Mike Lee Discusses KBJ's Appointment to the Supreme Court

"Support. It's senator Mike Lee senator. Welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Thanks so much, Charlie. Good to be with you as always. So just breaking the last couple of moments. Brown Jackson is now going to be a Supreme Court Justice. You voted no? Give us your take. I voted no. Look, she's got some impressive qualifications, academically and professionally. I'm concerned about her judicial philosophy and therefore can't vote for. What I mean by that is she doesn't have an appropriate relationship with the role of the federal judge, which is narrow, and it's supposed to focus on interpreting the law rather than making policy. There are too many instances in which she has done the latter when her job is limited to the former. So she was narrowly confirmed with 53 votes. Talk more about kind of her philosophical view of what she thinks a judge needs to be more activistic, a living or breathing constitution. Kind of in the tradition of Ruth Bader Ginsburg or the Warren court or the burger court, when in reality, we've kind of seen this really exciting revival of people more in the tradition of Scalia. Talk about how she's kind of a departure, obviously, because of who nominated her, Joe Biden, and what that could mean for liberty and for citizens watching the show. Yeah, you know, I think she'll be to the left, not only of the Republican appointed nominees to the Supreme Court. But I think she's probably to the left of Earl Warren of Harry blackman of Stephen Breyer. That's right. Even Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I think she is a liberal ideologue, a very smart liberal ideologue who has shown her colors in the past. For instance, by enjoining Trump era administrative decisions that were outside of her jurisdiction. On at least two occasions, she took a Trump era executive action. And invalidated it in the absence of a valid cause of action, really in the absence of jurisdiction and was twice reversed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. circuit, which is a very left leaning appellate

"You know Rudy Giuliani at the time share of implemented with Jack maple and others is broken windows policing and it was precisely kind of what you're talking about just worded a little differently and the idea was that the guy who jumps on to the train to commit a robbery or God forbid a rape or a murder he doesn't pay for the train share of he jumps the turnstile He's like hold on let me pay here So they jumped the turnstile So if you catch the guy jumping the turnstile for the minor crime and you put him in jail even if for overnight until he gets a hearing the next day you may have prevented three or four other crimes A robbery a rape or potentially a murder And that kind of ties into this retail theft thing the way I see it If you let the guy go with a woman go for stealing whatever lipstick or a pack of gum or some protein shake from a store then word gets around that oh they're not doing that They're not forcing that And then two people show up And in ten people show up and then it's open season Is that the correct analysis Yeah you're right on the money I know that when the broken windows came out it was very effective in New York The theory basically is if you have if you have a side of a building which has a hundred windows and they're all intact nobody breaks down If someone breaks one window and you don't fix it then someone will break another one though and at the end of the day all the ones are broken So we do that here in Martin county We tow to that line And we believe that we don't look at crime as just background white noise If you break into a car here we will move heaven and earth to find you because if you get away with breaking into that car the next time you break in something it will be somebody's house And we know that And that's not just conjecture That's exactly what happens So if you catch the car burger you probably prevented Diaspora

Or are a lot of people voting? Nobody's votes being suppressed. Nobody's being disenfranchised. Nobody's being turned to turned away because of the color of their skin. Schumer Serves Nothing Burgers for Senate Democrats

"You outline in punchbowl news that Chuck Schumer ain't got the votes for Bill back better ain't got the votes for voting legislation and he ain't got the votes to break the filibuster. So he ain't got nothing. Fair summary? Well, I think yes, I think that's generally that generally speaking that's correct. Unless there's some deal we don't foresee, but Joe Manchin has been absolutely clear. Well, two things are true, right? So the BBB is stalled for now. So I don't want to I don't want to pronounce it completely dead quite yet, but it's stalled for now. Number two, Republicans aren't going to vote for the Democrats voting overhaul Bill. And Joe Manchin has said he's open to two different changes to the filibuster. He wants to keep the filibuster in place. He wants he would be willing to two very minor changes on the filibuster. Now, could he vote for a carve out for voting rights? I don't think so. But you can never say definitively that something will or won't happen, but my reporting at this point tells me that he will not do so.

"Boy, we have more tape than we know what to do with, but it's really important, especially for those of you right now that are working for companies that are saying, hey, the osha mandates coming forward. For example, you might work for a worthless company like Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A, which has incredibly overrated food, which is saying to their employees that if they don't get the vaccine mandate, then we're going to fire all the employees. We're going to fire you by early February. I don't know if you guys know that. That's Chick-fil-A's new position. And we've bashed on Chick-fil-A plenty throughout the years. And we'll continue to do so. And that is in great contrast, by the way, to the wonderful In-N-Out burger. We're in and out burger has said we are not mandating vaccines for our employees. We're not mandating vaccines for our customers. We're not doing any of it. Huge contrast. God bless in and out. And I hope God will improve

"That. I also exceeded my doughboy's meal allowance. Taking this order. So just a heads up on that. But okay, we'll talk about that off pod. We're gonna need a breakdown of what your wife and daughter ate for the meal and then we'll subtract the final chart. So and then you know, I have to guess, for someone who scarfed a cheeseburger in the car, I'm gonna guess that you probably still won over. So and then I gotta say I did order store San iron cowboy cookie. Did not come wasn't included in the order. I think it's a sonoran cowboy cookie. I think the way I said it was right. Okay. Like a Star Wars planet, sun or. So that was the order. Wow. Good order. And I messed up not getting. I did get the spread sauce, but that all came on the burger. And I guess I messed up. I didn't really think that the sauces were something that I should pay attention to. And here and you say all the sauces, I feel like I messed up. There's some quality sauces. I would say always budget for a sauce or two if you're gonna go, you're gonna hit up the montees. I will say that Monty's is expensive. I mean, it is pricey. No, for sure. I came in over the, we allowed ourselves about $50 and my total that's before tip came to 59 78. So it was fucking expensive. Because but look, it's specific. What you're getting here is, you know, you're getting vegan food. That's supposed to taste like these, like In-N-Out burger wives, like these shaken burger spots, and to the most part, I think it works. I'm interested in hearing what suss says. By the way, I got a Monte's oh yeah, Oreo style Oreo style shake. That was my, that was my shake. I was nervous about travel just because the time I had eaten them before I was I don't know what my strategy was is I scarfed a cheeseburger in the car. I don't know if I mentioned that. No, you know, we heard that. Yeah, I think you need to get into that. Yeah. And okay, to see how it would be got it, got it. Yeah. So. Your wife, Jamie, who is vegetarian. She didn't get to scar for burger. What were her? So I thought that this was gonna be a deep run. Did you scarf or burger for Jamie in the car? I'd like to do a thing where you did one for me one for her. Tell her. One for your daughter. Yeah. So, I thought this was gonna be like a home run for her because she was a vegetarian. She kind of can't get this kind of stuff. She is a fan of the Burger King impossible whopper. And so I was like, oh, this will be great. And so she took a bite of the burger. And her first reaction, which I do kind of agree with, it's a lot of sauce on that burger. And it's pretty soft. And I kind of felt too that's kind of otherwise like it really is like, wow, it tastes like a burger, but there's something probably because of the vegan thing, the sauce doesn't taste exactly like what they're going for like McDonald's like special sauce. It does taste a little different or something. Sure. It kind of stuck out in that way. Then we shared the chicken sandwich. And she took a bite of it and ran to the trash to spit it out. Wow. What about which I was shocked? And I reheated that at home too. So I thought it tasted better, but I mean, again, what's interesting, unlike weigher, she's been a vegetarian basically her whole life. So things like fried chicken, she doesn't have like, oh, I just wish I could have that. So it was even like, what even is this? This is like even the concept of a fried chicken sandwich, I think, kind of sounds a little gross to her 'cause it's like such a big thick piece of chicken and then it's fried and then in bread, she just wasn't getting what was so good about that. Yeah, I get it. Now the fries and the tots and all that stuff. We're all good. I think everyone that was my daughter was very excited about all of that kind of stuff. The burger she just was not interested in, but that kind of is normal. Like she didn't even. She was like, I'll eat this instead. Then just like took all the fries. And then the milkshake. The cookie milkshake was a home run. That was good. The cookie milkshake, it's interesting. They have pieces of cookie in the milkshake, but then I also give you some other cookie on the side. And eating the cookie on its own did not taste great. It kind of tasted like cardboard. But mixing with the shake. I think we also thought this cookie shake was really good. And it felt a little lighter because it's not dairy. That was probably our sip of the trip, as I say. Wow. And then we also had the we tried the pumpkin spice shake, which was gross. We threw that away. That sounded gross. I'm surprised you got it. It sounded gross. It just, you know, the seasonal thing. Yeah, it just seemed disgusting. Yeah. I'm interested in Mitch's thoughts on the Charlie's chicken sandwich 'cause here's the thing I will say. I ordered on the app and I picked it up and then I ate it there. So there is a recently opened I ate it there. There's a recently open minded burger in yeah in the restaurant on Sunday, 'cause what I did is I just took it into my car and scarfed a burger in the car. That's right. You scarfed a burger there, and then you took the rest home. That's not what I did. I ate my entire order there. There's a recently opened body. I've got a quick question that I can walk to. Is that like a rare thing for you to like scarf for burger in the car? Like a question. Because you keep making a point of it so I'm like, oh, is this like something that he doesn't do too often? Is he not scarfing burgers too often in this car? Anyway, what were we taking?.

I'm not allowing you to pick leash mun. You cannot gleasman or coke wreck co cracker release. man. I don't wanna hear it. I don't wanna hear you want it somewhat. Divorce off the board then. I'm going to give you a flyer. I'm not taking control. Correct thank you. Who do you got. I think two guys from way off the pack way out of bounds Have a chance to it to make some noise. This with mackenzie hughes is a canadian. Did not handle sunday torrey pines well when he was in that big spot however he's played well since then it didn't like crashes year that he didn't succeed on sunday tori. He's a canadian. Who hits the ball really crisply and mackenzie hughes as a chance to play well. This week i also think there's a guy way off aboard from germany. The schmidt played collegiately here in the states. He wanted earlier this year on the european tour. Yeah he's way off the board like you know five thousand to one or something like that you know if you want to someone in the hundreds that kind of thing but a little higher than a hundred fisher world. Golf ranking take a look at francesco molinari. Played a little bit better. Michael knows this. He hits the ball wonderfully and you know. He was the reigning open champion when he went to the masters in twenty nineteen and rinsed his ball at twelve allowing tiger to go on to win on that sunday. And it kinda wrecked molinari. Well he's played a little bit better of late and this golf course in particular suits him very well and with italy winning the euro cup. Even though i disagree with you. Tony penalty kick suck. You cannot have a fine like that. You cannot have a big final like that decided by penalty. Kicks play it out if it ends like pat lafontaine and four. Am middle of the night and go ahead play it out. But anyway with italy winning the euro final. And i'm not a soccer guy at all. Couldn't tell you one thing about the sports italy. Italy could win another open championship. Just minority could be the darker so take those three. If you're going to be playing anybody off the board that's wonderful enjoy it from royal stanford just in just enjoyed with the bangor's mass that i'm sure they're going to serve at world stanford. Enjoy the burger as is as it'll be the first time in my it'll be the first time in my professional career calling an open championship. The first of all. I'm not doing the interviews. Which can be really weird. Because i'm not allowed to be there but calling holes and being able to say yeah. Can i get another a chicken. Sandwich from chick-fil-a please the ever did not have lousy food actually have good food and and almost normal hours calling holes open championship. It's kind of very weird. Thank you steve. Jacobsen's either the second or third to last group and peter's known as a funny guy and he was very player won't one a lot of terms on eight. Pga tour events was in the mix of majors Clearly who's in the mix of this one eighty five georgia's at a streaker came out and he was make completely naked and comes running around the green. And the bobby's you're trying to get them and the fans are loud. And everybody's going crazy punitive standing beside the eighteenth green and he kind of looks over his caddie who's fluff cowan cat. He's now curious for tiger tiger woods and york city. Because you know if these guys bobby's. They're running around their hats on the whole deal trying to catch of materials. Like if these guys catch take lap. I'm gonna get him and mike. Mike fluff cowan and sure enough. He absolutely gets in there like he's dick butkus morning when you remember when you used to go to the open tony that on on monday morning of the open. It's one of the great kinda airport seems and all the sports everyone is flying out of the airport. That's everyone is flying on monday morning. So literally everybody at the open players caddies officials writers. Tv people radio people everybody to the tour european tour. The everybody's in that airport. The next morning peterson the airport. You know everybody's bleary eyed blah blah blah. He's looking at the london times. And all these papers. And you're thinking. Oh sandy lyle you know a uk guy wins the open that kind of thing front page. every paper. peter's safes scrunched up against some guys than other. I literally tackle nick. Sabin would be so proud of that fact peterson of all the memorabilia in his house trophies and all kinds of pictures and all kinds of things that he's done in his wonderful career he has that one phrase up somewhere. The basement of his house made oregon. He said it's just one of his prized possessions of his face. Some day could guy with a perfect clean tackle there. That's a wonderful story that i mean. That's a wonderful story. What i remember most about sandy. Lyle by the way as he seemed to always wear brown shirts he was not a well-dressed golfer. Not by any means nice enough fella but not well dressed but what you're talking about reminds me of what happened last week in the scottish open where that guy walks up on number ten where rory is tries to take rory's driver ends up with the head cover gets another club and goes up on the tee box as if to hit the cover of the of the driver and it took more than thirty seconds for security to get there. That is steve. That's so frightening isn't it. But i i'm out in tahoe. And i see this and i getting all of these texts from imagine them. All of our friends who play and our cat is on the pga tour and poor harry diamond or harry. Diamond is rory's childhood friend who's been his caddy for a long time. A wonderful guys. Like rory could not be a nicer guy. And i think the problem that everyone golf had is hang on a second. I t scottish open one of the most famous players in the world. A how does a guy just walk out there. Not walk out there without security being around. Be no offense to harry. But i can tell you about a dozen catty see would have literally four that guy. You don't someone's clubs. Michael knows this. I don't care whether you at the the girls junior columbia last week or whether you're at the open championship this week. You do not let anyone touch your clubs and if someone touches your clubs you gotta have a stronger reaction rory inherited. He just picked right out of their practice. Wins then secured people got. They put the club back in the bag to me. That club soiled man. I'm not. I don't want an amber touching my club and i'm about to go try to win a golf tournament. That was a bizarre. It was completely bizarre. We wanted to do the story on. Pti and they wouldn't release the video. And if you don't have the video you can't do the story right The people at the scottish open our thinking was they didn't wanna do it because it was embarrassing. Completely harassing yes. It was on social media but we needed permission to use it and north yet it. We couldn't get. I would have loved to hurt wilpon and we would've gone crazy crazy earlier in the day when we hope we be able to use it and we couldn't by the way what is the percentage is. It's the british open. It's called the open. Not you know it's just the open. What is the percentage of european players. That actually win. This is at a higher percentage than i might think or a lower percentage because i would say maybe fifteen to twenty percent but maybe it's higher an englishman hasn't won in england since faldo. I believe i believe those ninety. Three maybe ninety two and ninety three and I think tony jacklin. No he's last englishman dewitt. I think he wanted a mere ninety two and that was in scotland. I don't think an englishman's wanted in england since tony jacklin sixty nine. I mean well your opinion. Rory's wanted recently He wanted in two thousand fourteen but francesco molinari's from italy. He wanted a few years ago when he held. Clark darren far these irish yup. Last time it was here at royal. St george's That was in two thousand eleven. So yeah i mean. Europeans have wondered but for the most part. You know like everything else In the sport it's kind of you know it's it's it's a worldwide thing. Norman wanted twice He's you know. Obviously he's australian the bunch of americans of water but if an englishman would win in england. Remember how rory tight. Roy was a couple of years ago at in northern ireland. When he didn't make didn't make the shots i he shot out of bounds was a mess the whole time. It's hard to win in your own country there. It's different than an american trying to win in the us. I don't know why that is but in england to win it englishman to win it in england. Tommy fleetwood this week up. The place would go absolutely bananas. What kind of course is it in terms of favouring certain type of player. You know a lot of people now. This week's different because the weather leading up to the week is going to be very good for the week In twenty eleven it was really bad. One day with darren clarke but for the most part it was dry and it was firm and fast two thousand and three when benn chris wanted. It was really from this week is a little softer..

"Players to sixty four players but when you get to sixty four players then it's the ncaa basketball tournament then. It doesn't matter what your total number is. that doesn't matter at all. You have to win more holes than the other person. You're playing that chain. You explain this. Michael that changes the level of competition. The you have to be four different kind of best play doesn't give you four full-quarter's to try and get back. So there's there's no real way to get back and what's interesting for her. She's probably only played this coursing info times. Obviously at the two the two rounds through the strokeplay. But now you're trying to figure out okay. Where am i going to try and be a little bit more aggressive. A little bit more sort of particularly if i'm coming in as the one of the higher seed. Yeah because we have. I i would say hard. It's an it's an unassuming hard opening stretch. And then you can sort of ride that if you get out to that early lead and some of the holes you might not get to some of those score. Bill would say round changing holes. That are so important for say the two of us. If we're playing a club match with jimmy crowley sixteen seventeen eighteen. You might not get those you always. Can we get to the other side of the tracks and if you can get out to that it'll lead. You could close it out before so it's just a different deal. If she plays a girl who you know in the first five holes throws in three bombs. You don't know what that psychologically does too hard. It's it changes. everything might be. You know you might be standing on the eighteenth t. One yeah. I mean it's just it's just a weird thing it's not every stroke doesn't count you can pick up. I mean you can. You can just pick off some point. And it's it's really a different way of playing michael which is harder you've played both which is harder i in terms of match players strokeplay. Yeah i think if for many of these players in this tournament stroke plays what they do every single week. They're playing those competitions. They know exactly how to control their game. And so it's it's for some of them out of their out of their thinking to be more aggressive and more assertive if they're trying to get into a match minds mindset. I always enjoyed naturally because it gave you gave you a little bit of that bumper. If you had that whole the ad to move on from and you can try and shrink around into say a mini three hole round can i. Can i pick one hole up here before we get to the turn but it comes down to mindset. Can describe how you played yesterday. Because i thought you played very well. Sure michael played very well. We started. I am not going to go into specific details inside. Shot by shot but we started on the back. Nine and michael was three under at the end of the back. Nine and then had a hiccup or to the hiccups on rents who throws the ball year. Instable on came back with a birdie after that right deal you had five birdies and around very good a great way to celebrate my dad's birthday the day before i started to. I started to try out. The ron darling play. I'm not sure if you notice. I did not off with a few arms if you aren't so that right so that we could be in approximately the same place. If i hit the drive well which i did once or twice now. The the highlight was. I think it was on our ninth. Which was the eighteenth. And alan goes into great deal great detail describing a recent match. He had with gary as his partner. Gary opponents tried to coach up the old ball coach. Gary wasn't listening to most of it. He was yeah. The gary answer was wonderful. All right we will take a break when we come back later in the show. We'll do steve sands with golf. "The just off. The sound is sound like tropical. Almost sound like a be in mario. Kart you'll be driving in a song will be playing in the background saying we did that. My sister new autism named bless mclaren. And kind kinda like pushing to the front right now to get some notoriety Shots just yet. Matt shut out the bus man rates of right out. Shadow yonder did a concert to yet yet. We just did like full shows back. We did the top tuesday at codes. We did we did a event. What was his name. Cut up g black out the eight wall. We done something with him. We just did some stuff shoes berry. Just shot a music video. So i've been busy light craze like these past couple of weeks. You know what. I'm saying mean you stay busy and especially in the music business already know as a good thing. I mean shit. Flown so on the west bank is any honors out there that you really want to work with them you kind of roll solo sometimes but listen i just i just actually got the dm with dan. You're harmless ready to be honest. Like i talk to daniel hottest like off and on but me him just talk. He was like man. It's time for their feet. Like you've been told me that he was like man. We need to do something he be moving in. Ib moving so he just hit me up. Recently he was like look is time for feature so men on daniel hardest by the do some that probably about the only person not seen right right now off the west side that i immediately wanna work with would be day all this at this point first big while you know saying some coming down last you'll stay tuned to the. Let me ask you this though. And i know being in the studio and then i'll put out put some projects in the past and i know you still currently put now dead heat right now man you at a studio no survive when you get into the studio when you go into work and you know you crab superstitious about what you do in the studio. Did you have a certain ritual that you that you go through certain routine when you when you recording process because it is different being in the studio versus you know what i'm saying. Well you just just got at home to kind of get an idea in so One thing i normally always do. Is i recite my lyrics to myself. Like if i'm in a You already him. He ripe lovers. I will be in the show. I can be right outside. Juba jingle hill. What i'm rapping. Because i'm i'm trying to be bestowed much at and got to the point in my career to whack and write right averse right not and if i go in and go record it sound like i've been ruling. You know how some people you can tell they re. Yeah right like so that that'd be probably wanted things like that. I always you know what i'm saying. But in a studio arcana just adapt who kinda like to go off the vibe. I'll probably be sitting down. What you and be listening to jump. It'd be like i got the hook in all right. Nothing down and just leader hook them. Come back on you like damn. He was thanking them. Like that was my in donald style right again. You know what. I'm saying so but that that's definitely for show like recite my stuff to myself. Do that now the going to album album because when it came to me i was kinda move all i would. It was some stuff that you will write for an apple. But then there's some stuff that that's not album. Slated is some stuff just for you. And i think a lot of people when when he talk about record office whenever to gets a position where he can put out whatever they want. They don't want to stand the pleasantries to put out the music that they wanna put out. What these big labels wants to put out. That might not sound like you might not feel like you so tell me as an independent as a big time independent their freedom of putting out music that you wanna put out instrumentals data your career. It is important burden are just had a light alike conversation like this with my brother and he seemed like he was telling me he was like could we were talking about the video. But you gotta put out stuff you gotta start putting stuff like for the people you can't put out. You wanna put out for you every time in his office. You kinda sensitive today. You know what i'm saying. You like nigga on putting his out. 'cause this would fit. You know what i'm saying but it is tricky. You know what i'm saying. Like i just i just went to the show recently in Song you guys will do. He lay man. You need this song in my mind. I'm like i'll go do the song that baraga. I'm like all right. Well maybe i do gotta step aside outside of myself in take that take that signed viseu that it is a battle for show like just create. Y'all because a label go tell you the a you ain't got no choice. We will this record. Does this. We put money baron but when you independece it you can do what you want. But it's always have second opinions. Third opening is around you because you can just get stuck in your on creativity. I really don't listen to nobody. You say so 'cause listening to yourself it may be like i know when when it came to me when i was record and i will listen to myself. I listened to my guy sat out the foundation by the way. And when i was in a studio listen to us you get. It's not. it's not that you so high up on yourself right. It's just like Word differently why out out rush through that line sequence right yet. Yeah damn could've mixed that a little bit differently. You know what i'm saying like so are you. Are you one of those who who's kind of like maybe eighty when it comes to what you put our high you sound hood is fucking myself. Like i'm a big critic. Oh you know what i'm saying and then when you like that yourself and you put something out in your mind you think it's cold today personally like that but you gotta kinda like right fuck is is like i said yeah. It's crazy 'cause like i say i'm passionate about everything i do if i draw a straight line. It's the best three land in the world. You know what. I'm saying that just that just i am period so you know it is just basically stepping outside You gotta you gotta do that as a creative. Because like it's like you you giving it to the console. you gotta make shape for the consumer. Because i'm lyrical. Salaam won't play for cities. And i won't do all of that but they you've got somebody who's listening. Don't even care about that. So is finding a balance between ship. 'cause i'm a i'm a student is issue. You know what. I'm saying i'm not. I'm not a new generation when they come to this. I'm i'm from the era. Where you've got gotta rat really wrap yet there. It's me some you're right so you know just finding a balanced budget home out on the track. Yell may listen to dirt dirt. Singing saw that look like for me in. You talked about before the other day. No sam i one of my favorite song from you. That you had put up was fucking. Ooh i like that song. Because i mean i come on san that beat come all all. Yeah v. come on settled. The meat visas from lexi banks Legs back on your nebi. Come on he added on the beginning estimates of the solve. Facts you laura by the comments.

"Great today I'm Bradley and this is your inspiration to start your week. Okay I. Don't think this story will sound weird and it will in cows this even inspirational. I've got a point to this. Back, until nineteen, I was going to Burger King because they have these delicious impossible offers I place my order we're going to the drive thru and all of a sudden the person had a me just drives off. I PULL UP I. Is this your food like. On. This person just up PICK HIM TO DEBATE FOR IT and. The. Employees had said that this has happened at this restaurant this driver pay for the food it destroyed off how often do we pay for something with time money and energy industry off without reaping the rewards? Right now working on building up the frazzle Youtube, the frazzled podcasts and the frazzle twitch channel Egg would be so easy for me right now just to walk away all that time money energy put into it and then I'm done. But like that person who drove off with paying without getting their food. Now there are sometimes you have to make decisions in your life. You have to look at your priorities and kind of say, goodbye some. I made the difficult decision this year to resign for ballroom dancing. I have been doing this for ten plus years and really enjoyed it. It wasn't an easy decision but I know in this instance, I did not drive off without getting my Burger I met so many amazing people I did so many amazing dances have so many memories there that really it's like I have a lifetime worth of Burger King impossible operas for me to enjoy what I've learned from instructors at my desk partners will go with me for the rest of my life. I've got confidence I get the address I've learned to be me. So this week, evaluate what you're working on. Ask yourself have I got the my bur yet or I still waiting on it maybe just maybe that delicious Burger King possible offers waiting for you and I asked You Burger King and impossible are not sponsors I just really love their burgers I'm working tobacco. No but the you see this is the thing is that the point isn't proven by this because what you did is okay so you're just took perfectly good brisket and you've made dog food okay. It might be delicious no expert. That's that's actually the point is it's not it's literally not what he so essentially if you go to the grocery store and you buy hammer you'll see it's written on the hamburger. This is an and you know a an eighty five <hes> ambassador. This is a seventy seventy thirty and eighty five fifteen ninety ten a ninety five five. You can even find so you know and that's actually good. You can get the jason so well. That's not you know the starting point of hamburger but editorially artistic expression every food every dish has ways that it can be elevated to grotesque protests levels just to prove a point. Sometimes you know you say oh well. No no no. I'm not saying you. I am that thing. You can't make a better burger sir. What i'm saying is is irrelevant now. There's one saving grace when he says it's a course grind which means you are going going to get a little bit of the natural marveling laugh from the hamburger but honestly that also just means basically basically it's whether you're doing fine grinder of course crime what makes a burger burger is. It's fat to meet content and having the flavor of the fat put into the me well no does. Don't you think that would be right now but but but don't you i think that would be a better experience as burger if you willing to be flippant and careless to the point of you know just just just saying i'm so luxurious. I don't care blah blah blah but that burger is going to be better no the one thing i didn't okay go ahead you can this. This is my and this is kind of my thing about like there's a pretension to it. Which even if you can say. Here's an interview say he made a good burger. Using fancy cut of meat in a in a hamburger is like using a fancy could've meat beef jerky. You know once you decide. I'm gonna jerky. Is it once you decide. You're going to turn it into sausage. That cut of meat is no longer as important because what makes. It's a cut of meat. A good could've meat is that it is naturally marbled in a certain way that it's meat to fat content meets a certain criteria that you're looking for in in this this this week once you grind. You can't tell me that when i bite a burger that his check meat versus biting a burger that somebody is carefully <hes> sort of <hes>. What's the word. I'm looking for a mouth. Feel the texture smith because you're tasting coke. Okay okay mas. I'm sorry i'm sorry. If you want you mix a liquor with a soda. You are tasting the soda with a little bit of oklahoma. Extent you know yeah okay tape. What what is it you can make eight but if that meek you know cannot be with us i mean unless you're using the new cherry whiskies he's they have and all the fancy shirt sugar sugar whiskeys or something but it no it's i will i would. I would say you would be very hard. Pressed poured you a jack and coke and a fleishman coke freshman being a low grade while whiskey very nice what whoa whiskey to nine to i i i love wilson's. That's one of my favorite whiskeys. That's worth the chief. <hes> you know <hes> or or heaven hill bourbon versus a jim beam black. Well no it okay so and then they're yeah but that's like saying you know any any you know bourbon and coke or any whiskey and coke is the same as you know having a jack and coke or or are you know like a whiskey. Ginger is the same thing no matter what whiskies if he's a better whiskey. It's going to be a better got. That's all i'm saying the ratio might still be pain or no no no it was that a just basic rocket wine in a fancy bottle and they judge in fact it was a fancy battle not the fact that was iraq but you can taste the with whiskey and coke though you can taste the would you can taste the sweetness and there's a you know visit house. The people read the labels so when you say i'm ordering a jack and coke promoting a ah. That's the thing it's like once you mix it with the coq now no drinking the whiskey mouth. This is just a little and i'm gonna tell you. It's ten to answer your question about yet so it's going to tell you that's a better drink and that his me okay. You know i i it is what it is. I think it is room for you know he does most of something. I think for that and were you buying it. Could someone told you it was fancy. Get back to the show. I'm sorry so <hes> then there's a knock at the door and again i gotta i gotta give props 'cause he is like totally playing hard to catch which is the way you had to play a character like the actor breath yet to be with the woman like jessica yet to be playing old time right now. I can buy that here. No she's in control because that's what because she needs to feel that and that's fine you know <hes> and there's this knock on the door were and they make <hes> the comedy movie the kid from upstairs idea diatta and she goes to answer the door and agai staff sir no but no one gets better drink than a well with skin coat upper abdomen yeah. I'm gonna have to agree to disagree here. I think i think there's all the room in the world for somebody to be artistic and curate every moment of effort i am happy to i think that's a wonderful awesome and jessica. You know most down and right. That's how this episode yeah well. I i think maybe but i also think incredibly to not admit that they would be a different or that. Somebody could taste the difference. That's it but anyways get back to the show getting the rest of this season's under our belts because it was really really good and <hes> veto v._w. To yeah yeah yeah right no way. It's about letting her make the first move oh yes right. Hey let's oh yeah. We love the new secretary. She is great. She is a just a brassy woman. <hes> full full of her own south and i do love seeing that in this episode seems they give her name. <hes> <hes> exactly.

"Okay, one. He keeps saying it's all good stuff is a good American stuff. It's america. It's American stuff. And then at one point the guy like they ask you a question out of them from like, you know, the press pool wherever it's like what what do you prefer do you like McDonald's or Wendy's more? And he goes they're both. I was I was Seymour Hersh. He's not a new he's on it gets hot new scoop, Donald Donald Trump. You know, he'll tell you that he likes all of it because he has through. Now, you know, the generals of told him. Support all of them. But what would he won't tell what they've tried to scrub? And I actually got a lot of threatening calls about was he's he's been very anti Wendy's in the past. He's. The square burger. He finds kind of threatening the he doesn't like you worry. He's going to hurt himself. But James Mattis, James Madison is way out. He will you remember James Madison actually had a lot of projects in South America with day Thomas. He told Trump that even out of the White House. He wouldn't protect them from the other generals him out against Wendy's. Dave Thomas's legacy. So he wouldn't he wouldn't commit to McDonald's or Wendy's. And he just kept saying they're both American Eric Eric stuff. We love Burger King. Great bird, the Burger King. He say earlier. He said earlier before they did it. He said we're gonna have McDonald's Wendy's Burger King's Jessica stick in my head because I think he thinks that is those are guys there are multiple burger kings their their their their monarchs in small principalities in Europe. And I can't wait to have them. All come to the White House Booker amazing leaders the burger kings. I think are just all wonderful wonderful fellows, and you would hope you would hope that there could be one king. He thinks that they could figure something out. He thinks Peter King is like the son of the Burger King. So it's really nice. The burger teams are Harare. I just I laughed so hard and the last thing that the detail that you have to clock in this video. That's incredible phillix you reminded me of it. He's just given up wearing suit jackets out because you so fucking fat. Like he's wearing his kills. He's wearing his move our coat inside like surveying next to the heat lamps next next to his burder, bounty. I love bring a big overcoat. I love I look like it's a bath wearing four layers in the room filled with heat land room temperature fries and ask confused nineteen year old if he's bagging co Ed is he just stares at me. I'm just standing like a minute or in my giant coat because no one can know I gained forty pounds of thanksgiving high. So awesome, dude because his his his physicals coming up, and we all know last time that guy. Ronnie Jackson came out and said he's fit as a fiddle and one pound under obese, and then he was rewarded with. Nomination for surgeon general, and then it came out that he was just writing scripts to everybody and driving his car into trees. I would pay a number in the hundreds of dollars. And I'm not a wealthy man that I would pay that much to get the actual data of Trump's physical because I feel like his normal body temperature is either like seventy two degrees for like one hundred thirty one degrees. Frozen. Many many of said that you know, a lot of people have very fast blood good. It's not good because it doesn't stay in one place long enough to do the healing things. Blood. Does my blade sticks around? I I just it's like who are they going to have to get to sign off on saying that he's a healthy individual. It's Dr Oz. I mean, he's gonna it's gonna be like a three part. It's like, okay, guys. I did the physical doing great. And to tell you that. Here's the guy who killed Connie Westmont..
