Period of 40 days in which we reflect repent and prepare for the glory of Easter Morning Lent is marked by the three pillars of prayer, fasting and arms giving. By doing so, and of course always depended on the grace of God. We will experience a spiritually transformation. Now is the time to draw near to our Lord to purify our hearts and to humble ourselves before him make time to visit a church or a house of worship. To sit in silence with Jesus and invite him to speak to you. If we do this lent will undoubtedly be filled with abundant blessings. You want coffee your way. He was a consensus all American. He was the first pick overall, you know three at the USC. He joins us on behalf of Kingwood and its performance based CBD Sports cream level. Select Course I'm speaking of Carson Palmer. Carson. So good to have you back. How are you? I'm well, Jim. Thanks for having me on Always good to have you on. Listen before we get into any of this stuff a break games down. I'm kinda curious. What's it been like for you during the pandemic? How have you approached it? How is life for you? Overall? What your perspective like now? Well, I've got four young kids and we've been in school out of school. Um and just kind of all over the place, but, um, you know, I think, God every day we've been healthy. We've We've dodged some bullets. We've had some negative tests. After some scares, but overall, we're blessed and hoping to get past the pandemic and back to normal here suit. Here here. Glad to hear it. We're joined by Carson Palmer. Right question. When Tom Brady went to Tampa Bay, you were pretty clear that things were going to work out well, with Bruce Arians knowing that are you at all surprised to see them in the Super Bowl together? Was that pretty much what you expected? Don't think I know back in September after watching their first couple games, assumed that they were going to be in the Super Bowl. Just because Tom Brady was on the team. They exceeded expectations. They've got better and better as the years going on. They've really improved just chemistry and technique wise within that system and Tommy's gotten used to the play calls. He's gotten used to the new Burbage Burbage after so many years in New England, and they're just firing on all cylinders offensively and You know you washing play. There's some balls they miss here and there, there's even more yard. It's there's even more points on the board, and I'm sure that's something that they're talking about. Especially if they go back this week, and they watch over that Kansas City game from I think week 10 or 11 12. At the midway point have watched the number of times. I'm sure they've gotten confidence and that's game film just seeing him and we can run with these guys. We could keep up with them. We left points on the board. We only scored 25 were worth 35 against these guys. Let's continue to progress. That's why I think Tampa Bay is gonna be my pick this week. Mm Carson Palmer Joining us you mentioned all the time they spent New England like, for instance, if you're Tom Brady, and you're going from Bill Bella jak to Bruce Arians. What do you suppose that transition is like, And how rejuvenating could that be for a guy like Tom? I think it's extremely refreshing. I mean, I I I think back right when I had gotten the Phoenix remember I was having a conversation with Larry Fitzgerald in the middle of the middle of the season. I was like You don't understand how good this is. We're out here on natural grass. It's not 15 degrees and raining and cold. You know if the grass looks like Augusta National, you got a little more bounce in your step. You're not having a practice on national security. Bad post, not you know that That is just is like one of your buddies off the field, and he's a coach on the field. I just think everything Whether the practice environment the head coaches Delivery to the team and his delivery and conversations with Tom himself individually. I think the entire thing was invigorating and refreshing for Tom and you're seeing it in this place, especially late in the season. Talking Carson Palmer. You know, one earlier in the year and because, you know Bruce Arians, you understood this whole process. But earlier in the year when he kind of called Tom out publicly, and all of a sudden all this hand wringing Carson about these guys are on the same page. You don't do Tom Brady like that. What's he thinking? I mean, you know, because you played for Bruce Arians. What's he like in a meeting room when you're watching film with that coaches? He's super intense or see a lot of fun to be around. Or maybe both. Well when he's talking to you. It's not fun, but it's fun when he's talking to somebody else. I mean, remember when I first got there, and he led every post practice. Film session where we go back and watch the previous the prior practice. We just got off the field from and I was taken notes on the exes and those of it as he was coaching. I wish I would have taken notes. On the one liners he had for guys that consistently screwed plays up. He had. I mean, so many F bombs. And and he would string together three or four words that were just hilarious. Half of them were cuss words, the other. We're just directed direct directly at the player. But you know I should have. I should have. Roll index of one liners from all the funny things, he said, where he was dead, serious, yelling and screaming at a guy about screwing a play out for the third or fourth time and practice. And most of the room is laughing at what he said. And then he gets more pissed because he's not trying to be funny. He's trying to make a point. He thinks everybody's in there goofing off and having fun, So I mean he's constant comedy. But not when he's directing. You know his his ast voices, too. That is an awesome anecdote. Carson Palmer is joining us. I'm curious. What about that first conversation that you had with him? Is it true that in that first conversation with him over the phone, he was storing ice cubes in his yeti cop? And if so, you had to speculate. Carson up put in a bad spot. What do you think was in that cup? Besides ice? Well, I was actually with the season had ended. I was in Hawaii with my family and I got a call from him. And he didn't even we did talk football it all. But hey, what's up, dude? Hey, Coach, you know nice. Nice to meet you. And I hear this like cleaning My coach would What are you doing? He was sitting by his pool with his shirt off and Steve time and him were drinking Tito's and I think at the time it was Tito's and crystal light. But I know he loves this. Tito's I know he loves his time away from football with his family and his new grandchild, so I know at the time he was enjoying himself out by the pool of Phoenix. I love that Carson Palmer is joining us. All right. So then you got Bruce Arians. And then you got Andy Reid through the most aggressive head coaches in the NFL. You touched on Tampa Bay and why you like them overall? What kind of a Super Bowl are you expecting? On Sunday? I think, you know, I think it's gonna be a really, um, well displayed defensive effort from both teams. I think Kansas City there's such a ball hawking secondary. They are built to play with the lead. They're built to try to stop the past and not so much have to worry about the run. When you got tired, Matthew, who is like a receiver, hands wise on the back end. But the reason I like campus, I just like the lateral speed. Um We blast through the city play. They do so much with me. Cole Hardman with Tyree Kill. You know, getting the ball and running it from the back field on these speed sweeps, and they just outflank defense's and they outrun linebackers..

"This is the perfect opportunity such a great program because this home partners literally goes in there. Buys the home rents it to you and then front agreed upon price. They sell it back to you when you're whatever that variable that's missing for this case this, gentlemen This isn't it's his employment. When that has more seasoning behind it, he's going to be approved to buy the home and so he gets to move in. Although he's technically renting for a short period of time, there's that there's a sense of ownership there because ultimately he knows that that home will go into his name. And he'll be able to realize that equity if you like some more information in regards to the re Kon Home Partnership program, I want you to text Lord partner 2411 92 3 92 3 That's partner 2411. 92 3 you to think of already started drinking, and I haven't yet been fumbling over the word. You know, the other thing, you know, for those of us who have rented or those of you Who are currently renting, you know, every year that there you know, it's the fear of is my rent going to go up because you are at the mercy of the landlord. And or maybe, you know, you kind of a verbal arrangement with the landlord. You gonna buy the house one day and in the time comes, you're ready to buy the house. You have no set price, and now you're at the mercy of what the landlord is going to charge you. But more importantly, it's the increase in rent. You know, through the re Kon Home Partnership program when this program buys the home for you and rent it back for you, you You know what your rent payment is, You know the duration of the rent payment and you were settling on a set price, so it doesn't matter, And we predict that home prices are going to continue. To appreciate over the next couple years. If you are sitting there, thinking that we're headed for a market crash or the market's going to depreciate, you're gonna be sadly mistaken. I'm just I'm just going to say it and throw it out there. Because we care about our listeners would care about them building personal well through the acquisition of real estate. But now you're now when it's time to 12 months down the road or 18 months down the road when it's time to actually purchase the property already know what the house is going to cost you and it doesn't matter how much the property goes up in value and in more cases than not You're now going to be walking into equity. So the other thing that Ah lot of times, Okay, we'll meet back up here. Just just a quick second. You've probably heard the term rent own lease option lease purchase. You might have heard all of those And it can get funky. There's a lot of herbs in there that you may or may not understand And don't get me wrong. This is gonna take some navigating. If you haven't had any exposure, Tol real estate lingo or Burbage. There's going to a lot of discussions just so that you understand what you're signing. But we want you to realize that equity if we want you to actually have the home transferred over into your name and we and we want to do it quickly. So with this, there's no pre payment penalty. There's no penalty if you decide to. Hey, you know, Instead of taking me a full year, it only took me six months. They're going to let you opt in any given point in time, so that's number one number two. We're going to help you. So case in point. If you have credit issues, we're going to help counsel you to get your credit in a better position or into a position to buy his quickest possible so that you're not throwing money away. And so that that your money isn't going into somebody else's pocket. I'd like to say You still need to have a job. You still right? You know, I mean, because because you're gonna have to get you know you're gonna have to get qualified in said period of time. But one thing we know this is one of the very rare situations where a renter can start building wealth with the acquisition of real estate. It's very unique. We called the Re Kon Home Partnership program. You like some more information about it. All you got to do is text word partner 2411 92 3. "Off those currently But I think that the concern is you're not just hospitalized for one day, necessarily. So those hospitalization numbers really start to stack up, and that creates concerns. For more than then. Just the covert numbers, right? So the other part that I'm having trouble with with this station. I don't disagree with any of this, except for they speak in percentages. So if you go from 1 to 4 cases You could say what that's that's a 400% increase, or 300%, whatever Whatever that would be in my point is that they speak in percentages with this. And you typically don't hear when you you know you You will see that. Oh, we have an increase in a 300% increase or 220% increase. In hospitalizations or whatever. And that's the part. I think that a lot of people are becoming skeptical, skeptical with and also to another different point. I was telling Josh a little bit ago. I'm watching some of the morning shows this morning, you know, getting ready for the show. And I see this nurse that they have on their and this nurse is I mean, she is She's giving it all She's it's like we're talking And and and nobody's listening, and I sat there and I said to myself, because you guys have screamed. You have cried Wolf for so long. All of these shows ah, lot of the mainstream media. They're flat out responsible for people not paying as much attention right now because every morning and I think you understand what I'm saying. Every morning Stasia. It's covert crisis covert crisis. They're on the brink of, you know, completely running out of space running out of space. They have said this in times when it's it feels their embellishing. And so they've done it so much that now if, in fact it is real, you've got people who are very skeptical out there going Yeah, I heard this song and dance before. I mean, you think about all of the verb Ege used during this time over the last couple of weeks. We've all heard how dire it is. Now. It's so dire. We've heard how long in different spurts over these few months the fatigue is off the charges. No question, but when they're using the same Burbage in there, they're pushing this say When you see this nurse going, nobody's listening. It's because a lot of people aren't at this point. They're going. We've heard this before. We don't necessarily believe you. You know, I think there's truth to what you're saying about even in those moments when we got down to 900 cases a day you're still hearing. This is so very serious. Can't let our guard down your report. The conversation was exactly the same. So I think there is fatigue. I think it's really the best word Covad fatigue and we've talked about that with health care professionals in particular. And just overall mental and emotional fatigue with dealing with this all of 2020. It's been a long year on many different levels, and now these cases are creeping up. I think The extra emphasis on the same Burbage used as you refer to the last couple of months in particular, when things even were so much seemed so much more positive. I think going into these times where we have these bigger gatherings just traditionally Thanksgiving Christmas and all of the events in between. I think that these health officials are really just trying to get across to people. That they their their message is it's not the time. That's their message right now. And I'm thinking they're just afraid that they're not gonna able to keep up if people don't hear this time, those last few months where I was talking about what we're hearing. It's covered crisis and we're at the brink, and it's you know, emergency rooms are filling up and this is very serious. It's very dire. The warning is this. The warning is that this was all an attempt. If you'll remember. It was obviously pre Election. And this was an attempt from the mainstream media to run trump out to continue to shed bad light on his mismanaging as they put it, of the of this crisis of the cove it the whole thing with the pandemic. And it's come back to roost now for him As far as the same Burbage. You've got all these people saying the same stuff and a lot of people like I said, there's a lot of people going. What we've been hearing this, but yet before it.
Trump is stonewalling Biden's transition. Here's why it matters
"Amy Walter from the takeaway were well underway and the ability for Theo administration in any way by failure recognizes this our wind. Does not change the dynamic at all. What radio peaceful transfer of power is a cornerstone of American democracy. Right now. President Trump is not only refusing to concede this election. He's also denying the incoming Biden administration access to keep documents funding an information they need to ensure a safe and smooth transition. Now the formal transition process is actually a pretty new thing. Congress passed the Presidential transition act just over 50 years ago. Him. Things proceeded from there with relatively little drama or problems until 2000 President George Florida's certification of George Bush is the winner. It's not up for me to accept or reject. There's a legal process here, you know, let's just watch this happen. It'll be over soon and we'll be ready for the transition. It wasn't until weeks after that. Bill Clinton Cabinet meeting December 12 35 days after the election that George W. Bush was officially declared the winner. That gave then President elect Bush just over a month to plan for and staff his administration. Course. Nine months later, the September 11th terrorist attacks happened catching the nation and relatively new president off guard. When the 9 11 Commission report came out in 2004, it pointed to this truncated transition. Is a weakness and recommended a more formalized process. Catherine Don Tempus is it senior fellow at the University of Virginia's Miller Center. She's also the senior research director at the White House Transition Project. So laws were passed in the 2000. There's been sort of three sets of laws that have been passed to kind of they keep refining it and keep refining it. But what they did primarily is that they enabled the winning candidates to receive funding to start their transitions after they were formally nominated. So that meant that once Biden was the Democratic nominee, he was he was provided with office space. Some funding for salaries. And the ability to start planning ahead. Talk to us a little bit about how worried you are or how worried we should be as Americans about this, As you pointed out, the attacks on 9 11 happened. No, not that long after President Bush took office. If something happens January or February of this coming year, would the Biden Administration be potentially unable to respond because they just simply didn't have the staffing and they didn't have the time to ramp up and be ready. We'll let me back up just a bit to point out that there are basically two important phases of the transition. The first I pointed out was after the the nominee. Has been formally nominated by the party and they receive some resource is the next big transfer resource is comes after the head of the G s A has ascertained the next President, United States and they use that Burbage ascertain that bird. I'm not really sure why, but And that's the point at which The president, the incoming president can start to have access to classified material. They can start to be part of the president's daily brief with which is the tells them all of the national security issues. It enables the Biden transition team to have access to all of these individuals, civil servants and political appointees at the various agencies so that they can interview them. So what's happening now is they are preventing the Biden from moving to the next phase, and what I would argue is the most important phase of the transition. It's critically important that the Biden staff members be able to go to the Department of Justice, for instance, and to be able to interview the FBI director, the head of the Criminal Division, the head of the National Security Division. Try to get a sense of sense of what's the lay of the land where the priorities what the crises that might be boiling over by the time we get here, and that's what they're being denied. So I think there should be a lot of concern about this. The inability to advance to this next stage of the transition. It's not to say that it's going to necessarily result in some sort of crisis. I don't know that, but We want a country that's prepared so it strikes me as we're basically just sort of harming ourselves for no apparent reason, and we're inhibiting our ability. To be in the best possible situation. We can be on January 20th, and there's no reason for that. We have the resources. We have the capacity. So why? So let's talk about the why. And the who? So Emily Murphy is a name that most of us Probably weren't familiar with until now. She is a person who is at the head of the G s A. Can you talk a little bit about How her role what her role is and how much leeway she has to continue to refuse to release these funds or to allow The Biden team to start integrating with the outgoing Trump administration. So Emily Murphy is the administrator of the G S. A. It's a political appointment in the GSC itself is largely responsible for all the government real estate, so they help provide office space and oversee office space. Um, you know, and in most situations you would never even hear of the G s a in this particular case because all the transition funding the legislation housed it in the G s a She has the capacity to release the funding in the resource is to the party nominees and then eventually to the president elect by law. She is the one that has to ascertain the election, so there will be no funding going out until she does it. So what's tying our hands? I mean, she is appointed by President Trump. She must be a Republican who has some Loyalty to this administration and is unwilling to buck the advice. She's getting probably from Mark Meadows, probably the chief of staff who is weighing on her. So what happens? The electors meet in mid December, and they certify the results of this election. Is that the time in which you could argue that There just is no formal or legal option for the president to continue to It's sort of obstructed this process. Right? I think the meeting of the electoral college and the electors casting their ballots. And if if the numbers show that you know Biden exceeds 2 70 as he as they appear to now it strikes me that there is she has no justification. To deny the Biden campaign or president elect by and hit the resource is, however. This is a norm, shattering president and we've never had a president who has not conceded. He's lost the election. So normally, I would say yes. You know, that is clearly a decisive moment in American history when the electors cast their vote, And if Biden exceeds 2 70. He is the president. At the same time. I honestly don't know what to expect in this administration. It's very hard to predict many of his political appointees have been loyal to the core. You use the word norm shit or term norm shattering, and I'm wondering how close we are to instead of norm, shattering. Actual democracy damaging, I mean, really, fundamentally undermining the integrity. Of our government and the things on which it is built. I would contend that President Trump along with many senators, who are Denying the facts of the election results and are upholding sort of Trump's Baseless claims of fraud and stealing the election that they are undermining the very tenants of American democracy. In order to have a healthy democracy, the citizenry has to believe in the institutions. They have to believe that the elections that they voted are free and fair. And by actively perpetuating this notion that there has been fraud and some sort of stealing of votes. You are undermining the important tenets of American democracy. And that has long term implications and we are already at important and I would say high level of turmoil in this country. Pandemic has wrecked havoc on the account economy. Various incidents across the country have heightened racial tensions in this country. This is not a moment where we then need to undermine yet another important aspect of American democracy. How

They did not say that no lockdowns shouldn't happen. What they did say is what it shouldn't be the number one detriment to try handling this virus. That's what they said. You got to put it in context. Two completely different things there but going back to what I was saying before. These people are some of the dumbest and again nothing to do with political affiliation, the people out there that are still to this very day apart, not practicing social distancing. That's those were the conditions where you see Cove it spread, and that's why we're being so thoughtful about how we re engaged this in a in a safe manner and at the appropriate time. Thank you, governor. The last question will come from my set with W cesium. Good. I was wondering how surprised you were. I know this is a sports question. I was wonder how surprised you weren't at the N H s a resurrected the issue of football and then essentially Hunted the decision back to you. Nice use of football Burbage on that one. Planting it back to me. Listen, you know, I think that there are leaders on various Roles that are struggling to figure what the right thing to do is the science is incredibly important that we stay focused on that that we work together. I think that crises really revealed people's true. Character. It's been said, and I think we see that happening. I'm going to continue to work with the association to ensure that steps that are taken are Absolutely tethered to the best science and keep our athletes and their families and our educators safe. "Plan of action implemented, You can have everything you have in your garage but put in its place. Everything has a place, right? You have the nail on the head there, so we that is kind of our mantra is, you know we have the largest room in the house usually is the garage. First thing you see when you get home, the last thing you see when you leave And my Burbage is I always say, And it usually looks like a dungeon. So you know, we want to make sure we're opening one garage door at a time because we have this Kali has parted for coding that no one pointed out 15 year warranty on chipping, peeling and the lamination. So when we put it down, it's going to stay down. Um And then you know, we have these cameras and EV actually improved our cabinet systems. If you could believe it, we could truly do customized Cabinet now full design architecture that It can be truly to your states as opposed to, you know, I shouldn't just having modular cabinet but you know we have the modular design, but we also have now it can be No. Three feet and 1/4 inches, because the balls a little bit closer, one side So we have the ability to truly give everything a home and walk in and say, Wow, that was built for my garage. You know, And when you bring up that cut the custom thing a lot of times there will be some kind of Ah, build around, especially in older garages. Maybe a chimney. Maybe some kind of Ah, closet that kind of projections for the garage. I mean, with all the remodeling we've done over the years, a lot of time there will be like a fireplace bump out the bumps into the garage and the space next to that are really kind of lost and trying to go to a big box store and grabbing up. You know, 48 inch can that throwing it in there? You're still wasting You know, 12 to 14 inches of storage space. So when you talk about doing custom made to the quarter inch, that's a huge, huge thing that I think people don't really think about, because all they hear quite honestly, this is this is one of the things we have to dispel again. When you talk about custom cabinetry when you put the word for custom in front of Cabinet tree people think all $1,000,000. But that's not the case with you guys. What's happening is your building. So many of these in your process, like we talked about earlier is such that you can create these cabinets at very affordable pricing and keep people organized and utilized space that they would never used before. You know, and after the break, Troy Ellen, I want to talk a little bit about another cool thing that you guys do if you find lost space that we never knew it existed in our garage up out of the way, we'll talk about some of that as well. So I think that we came up with a great name for that, too. I'm excited to talk about that. All right, But don't that's that's our Caesar for the next segment, so The thing that you guys do, and I think you do very well because we've had multiple discussions on this as well as my desire to get involved with your company to get organized. Is you are not just people that come in and mop something on the floor like we talked about laying prey where you go to the big.

"The courts basically gonna handle that. So likewise with the mortgage. It's going to stop reporting once you enter into bankruptcy, because all that's being handled by the court and the court is not going Tio report that to the credit bureau, so that's usually the reason Okay. Okay, well, one of the things that existed brilliant until recently, is there were some lenders out there. Vet would do a mortgage Pretty much like a day after you got discharged from a bankruptcy Now. The downside, of course, is your you're going to end up paying a much higher rate and the terms are much harsher than they would be if you just were getting a regular mortgage. But for some people, that was a possibility. But that's not around anymore, Is it? No, No, no. There's been a lot of changes recently, as I'm sure everybody's aware, not just a lifestyle, but also Teo, you know, the lending industry and pretty much every industry out there. Yeah, I mean, even here, even here in national up there, there's a couple companies that we're aware of that. That actually went out of business. They're just gone. As a result of this whole covert thing, and all the different mortgage changes in the regulation and guideline changes. They just stopped. Yeah. Now what? You're what you're talking about the specific type of learning It's a very, very small portion of the market. It's called non Q. M and Q. M stands for non qualified mortgage. Right. So I want to take a step back and kind of explain where that Burbage comes from, because this is kind of a new things, So if you go back before 2008 There was prime lending and then subprime lending. Right, right. Subprime has become a dirty Where it wass. Yeah, but pretty much. Anybody could get a subprime loan back in the day. Yes. No job. No problem, right. Exactly. So Prime essentially means like, hey, you know, this is someone who qualifies for a mortgage. You know, they meet every single one of the pieces of criteria. Subprime man. Hey, they've got some good things, but they've got some bad things, but we're willing to give him a loan anyway, Right? Right. He deserves a chance at home ownership. So in 2008 when the market crashed and then subsequently in 9 4010 when all of these new bills got passed by federal Congress. One of the one of the changes that they made was to create. This thing called a qualified mortgage and essentially qualified mortgage meant someone qualified for the mortgage. Hence the term right and they get all of that criteria right because as loan officers we are required To make sure that the people were lending money to can actually afford that mortgage have the ability to repay. And so there's all the guidelines that then if all those guidelines are met, and we check off all the boxes That's a qualified mortgage. Right? Exactly. Now there's a section after that. That's about non qualified mortgages. So this is where someone doesn't need all those specific things. The lender is actually going to shoulder more responsibility if you default, so that's kind of the difference between human and non human. You know, why is that important? Well, non Q. M. Lenders are the ones that will give you alone one day out of bankruptcy. Now most mortgage companies and again this is just kind of reflective of the market at large, You know, 97 98% of the market is all Q. M stuff, right? Non Q. M is a very, very small ports very small, and they have since the whole coma thing. Much gone away, so I don't know if they're coming back. I'm sure they'll come back at some point. So if you are just got out of a bankruptcy, you know, two weeks ago, you're gonna have to wait awhile. Yeah, and typically depending on the loan program. It's anywhere from 2 to 4 years, depending on which type of bankruptcy. That you did seven or 13 and which loan program we're talking about whether it's conventional F H a, R Va or USDA. It's going to be anywhere from 2 to 4 years that from the date of discharge, right? Right? And actually another piece to add into this to speaking about home Specifically if you were to just foreclose on a home, which basically means like, Hey, you know what? I don't want to pay the mortgage anymore. You give the keys back to the bank is a term that people used to use. If you foreclose on a home, you have to wait seven years before you can get another mortgage. If you're going to go conventional, there's other loan types that are a little bit shorter. It's 34 years, depending if you include the mortgage or the house in a bankruptcy. That timeframe actually get shortened down to meet the bankruptcy requirements. Alright, Well, hopefully again. Hopefully you don't find yourself in a situation where you're even thinking about bankruptcy, but But if it's something that you do find yourself in, we wish you the best of luck. If you want to call us and talk to us about the ramifications of some of the things that you're thinking about, you know, we're happy to talk to you about that. Or if you've got one That's in the past that you're ready now. Toto, look for a house or refinance. The house will be happy to help you out with that as well. Anyway, We're going to take a quick.

"Had a good holiday yesterday get ready here this year not even here in it it's very generals your mark Burbage then welcome everybody with the breakfast that's right we've got the he's very general ask for his own his own music introductions when he comes in as a walk in a baseball player that's all right up to the plate good to we got the special stuff or is it a mark for images here Arizona's Attorney General happy to have you give merry Christmas it was great it's it's always great to have friends and family around and actually got to go to the in laws last night for dinner that's right I can help with great I'll tell you what we were there for three hours it felt like three minutes underwater I'm just kidding well to be fun at home that'll be now that's good if you actually don't I get back to you as you see very I brought my daughter with me today and she started college which is which which is great but so expensive these days and you know it's funny you tell me a story right but she can also she's on your Christmas break here and she was telling me about one of our professors right for the brakes at well you know this is the time of year that we need to make sure that we concentrate on you know people to give to others and this time of year especially here we are in December we need to focus on a jolly old white haired man who's gonna bring us all sorts of presents and I said my daughter so wait a minute you guys about Santa Claus a college that no no no he wanted us to vote for Bernie Sanders all all that a real story that shot as far as losers are considered right well you don't think you so crazy left wing bias this is a very well my my sister and brother in law are in town and they're both college the professors at the Midwest and yes there's a lot of crazy that they'll do in class but there we had a we had long good political discussions already this this week with them it's been it's been three minutes under water so in any case there you go welcome home baby yeah are the speaking of universities though give me the update and I know you you have the suit against the Arizona border regions issue with what's going on with the the hotel there in the the tax situation what's the current status of that I would love to put some of this in context but we have to ongoing lawsuits as you know against the regents of our state universities what is happened is the regions have basically become rubber stamps for the higher education establishment here and so Arizona's actually now number one in the entire country for public universities when it comes to twitching increases on we've seen tuition go straight through the roof which is really not only unfortunate because it's making it harder for hard working middle class families to afford college for themselves for the kids but the same time we have a constitutional provision right we believe in the rule of law right the constitution says higher education this will be nearly as responsibility for his bokken somewhat the Regis is basically done is done nothing to address the problem instead they keep coming up all these wacky proposals for example you know they voted to allow in state tuition for people who don't have legal status here we actually sued them one of the court of appeals three nothing because there's a voter protected proposition that says the voters your proved it by nearly seventy percent they don't want to hear from you will have legal status and one of the regions to after one of the court of appeals they voted the next week to continue to give his right tuition so we had to take the Supreme Court will be one seven nothing and during the course of that I realize there's no accountability and there's this whole higher education industrial complex were you know the university for example a issues paying one million dollars for you Michael Crowe to be on the new America foundation board and do all this kind of stuff and no one's asking wait a minute why is tuition gone through the roof in instances where the constitution and then once you start digging you start seeing things like this on the hotel deal where you have an out of state the hotel chain multi billion dollar hotel chain where the university is literally giving them tens of millions of dollars of subsidies to build a hotel right on down you know milk break your mill Avenue we already hotels being built and so the universe she's now become the pick they pick the winners and losers and market place and if you want to know if the listeners want to know whether you're a Democrat Republican liberal or conservative this is an issue that should concern everybody because what this is about is a power structure where somebody is completely on accountable to the voters to the taxpayers in this created an empire and so when I see you know the university tops of Michael Crowe now has been nominated as one of the top ten business leaders in the state only person that certain you know works for the public we pay for his million dollar salary or whatever is these days it's like that should be troubling to people because it's a public entity I mean the mayor of Phoenix shouldn't be the number one business leader of the year the the president of a public university should be focusing on providing a good quality education at a price or at a cost of three free as possible instead of trying to be the business leader of the year and you know very part of the reason why the father's lawsuit the biggest the biggest real estate transaction airs on history was was done by issue and so they're doing this thing where they're basically renting out their tax exempt status so it means it means less money for K. through twelve schools and they were on the hook and and don't even get me started we haven't filed lawsuits but you know you've got just this last week and here's our public there was a story about the president of his local lower the leader was local thing that's been accused of the you know sexual harassment other improprieties there was an investigation report that found they were substantiated and guess what as far as I know he still employee of university and and the fact that no one's asking no one in the media and no offense to you or anyone else we only listen no no one's asking very wise why isn't someone saying wait a minute why is issue have buildings in downtown Los Angeles why are they buying properties in Washington DC while tax dollars I I let me just say one one quick one quickly this call filibuster brother I'll be right back yeah to start a new show on nobody was was but listen to this quote right was this isn't this is a quote that said I want you could Lister should gas screws there's we Russian leader of China Evans well who's this that said we are now excited to be taking part of the resurgence of downtown Los Angeles not only does the building illuminate the city's history dating back for the century we look forward to our presence there to play an important role in adding to Los Angeles downtown intellectual culture economic vibrancy global law we're creating a more real work with our strategic partnership dissipating critical issues facing the nation's second largest city you know a president that wants to be Michael Crowe it was Michael Crowe so there you go there's your tax dollars hard at work building and trying to do create more diversity in downtown Los Angeles and someone very plus the regions are sweep of the switch someone is start asking questions does very quickly what is the status of the tuition lawsuit because that's the one where we have a constitutional agents possible tuitions now around eleven thousand dollars a year for for in state residents we with that lawsuit actually is on we have filed an appeal to states OpenCourseWare was an issue regarding the standing there is an issue the universities have hired you know these attorneys from Perkins coolly if that sounds familiar that's the law firm that was responsible for the steel dossier you know seriously so I mean I was only there is going to all right canceling anyway I know their local local lawyers or or or okay but go ahead yes is one anyway the the the point though is that they try to get this dismissed on procedural grounds they don't hear so they say the AG doesn't have the ability to bring these lawsuits and and the reality is is that if the Attorney General can't sue to protect Ursula taxpayers the new healthcare and that's a real issue if I can't hold other government entities accountable who can really I mean it's ridiculous reading of the proposition and that's why I'm actually very proud the just recently for former AG's errors on AG's both Republican and Democrat filed an amicus brief saying that we should this lawsuit regarding tuition should allow me to move forward the attorney general's office has to be the last stop if if you're not there to protect errors on that represent a citizen to make sure the constitution being protected that who is what whatever your position on this issue is the Attorney General has have standing to bring that sort of the suit right and that's why you know better you've heard me say this I always look at myself as being the people's lawyer I am I'm the last stop and that's why some of the things that I am so proud of is that we've recovered a record amount of restitution Arizona voters yeah we sued companies like votes wagon we've been we have been afraid to take on the tough powerful interest and that's because a lot of people don't have anywhere else to go so so it's got to be a it's gotta be the AG's office has to the Attorney General has to have the ability to take on big powerful interests even if those interests are the universities themselves already turning generals with a smart bird of it she's live listen KTAR and can you hang on for a minute yeah all right I just got started take a breath maybe get a civil water yeah a brief where they'll get some updates from news dot roller if you're with headline some to come back I want to ask you for the status of the ride sherry she was guy harbor airport the uber lift issue that I know was being put in your office now and also with that data privacy and if we get to Arizona just brought a case before the Supreme Court right on a death penalty case so lots of stuff to get to stay with us folks news right now in back in sixty it's a it's a bruising panel showing very margin G..

"Mission and W. is here with us prime Burbage and you know happy to be hanging out with you on this Christmas Eve surrounding areas festival I a number reasons like some of the staff around here my talk or very very holiday dressed up as username I'm like I'm very very impressed I feel like I should have planned better I have the lows yeah and I'm like I'm wearing like email purple and black yeah I like it as well but I do have the the Christmas is looking outfit didn't think I didn't either I mean I even looked at my red sweater this morning and I was like this look warm enough they're not you're very practical very practical so it is nice to see some people who are appropriately dressed in their holiday but as we continue the dynasty shows they are enjoying their holidays we do have a couple of things on our list that we think make us go it was the first one about the tasty holiday beverage do you like eggnog I have a love hate relationship with eggnog I went through a phase where I was super super into it yeah because I felt like I was supposed to like a not is it especially like I think it started when I was in middle school because I would watch all of the movies about the holidays especially going with Arizona there's not a lot of that typical movie flair the holidays warm right and there's no snow or any of those things in the part airs on our group and so having a nod did feel like I was buying into analogy should be and then I tried it once I got older to make it more of an adult beverage so I went through that phase and then I realize I don't think I like it not with it I never ever had as a kid in fact we always had my family always had Tom and Jerry's doing time no one of those classic Wisconsin thing but it's like a jog it's like a jar you get that has basically I don't know eggnog mixture in it and well my parents would do is they would like warm up brandy out or for us the kids they were just warm up either water or milk and then they would like scoop sometime injuries on top so that was always my perspective is that it's basically like this sickening Lee sweep paste ism batter yeah Tom and Jerry batter yeah I you have to tell me what the ingredients are because I don't know and and milk it has in Excellency out of a dozen eggs in the Hague file salt a pound of butter there you go and at three pounds of confectioners sugar white that's exactly yeah well it doesn't matter Hobbes so you just take like a scoop and put it on top of your home warm whatever but that's what we always drink growing up so I don't have I not until I was an adult and then what did you think well I didn't really live I don't remember that much I was I kind of might missed my Tom and Jerry's like still in bed in my body is something I was I was a kid I have those things that I would like you know as a kid that I have people ask me if I thought they were good I can't even say that that's why I like I don't know yeah I don't know if it tasted good I just know that it's like member and I want it yeah yeah the reason I bring up eggnog is because they I was looking up some like what today is first about national eggnog day well well done so is that important everybody enjoyed exactly and then I was looking up some fun facts about eggnog and it turns out of the US army website this information about the eggnog riot yes so this was a while ago eighteen twenty six a historic at west point they were having like an eggnog party they're having a holiday party in and I've ever got a little too drunk on eggnog because an actual riot wow and it's now become like part of I guess the army lore they were having they were taking a break from too much too much life in the army that yeah I think it out live drink a bunch eggnog and they sort of breaking things and getting into fights and I guess the next date nineteen of them were expelled wow this can be kind of been kind of those you off the edge every once in awhile is it doesn't seem like it would be one of those dangerous strings no I was like can you know getting enough eggnog in you that you know even if it is the sleep even if it is brandy our word brandy forward eggnog is still seems like it would take a bit to run forward eggnog was still take a bit well and it's gets heavy in your belly I feel like you're getting a little okay before you ever got to the point I would agree yeah I would agree that if you were really I guess it was very forward of of is more I'm presuming NO if if west point is like you know if it is like it is now where they have very strict guidelines on drinking so maybe all of the cadets of the time we're just out of practice yeah did not take note that we sent over that that could be just all of like not only a unaccustomed and lower levels of resolve because they had been drinking yeah I've been cadet yes and then they just had all the extra drenalin as well right and they just lost and then once it starts you can't on cap but I don't really drink so when if I were to have even one glass of eggnog I think it would put me to sleep right away that's fair that's fair and the whole thing is like there's so many is one of those drinks that I don't wanna say you ever need a drink but is actually one of those where you like I'm only doing this because the whole reason it doesn't say desert Niclas yes I I was one of the things I'll say my calories for pie okay and cookies I really like the almond milk eggnog they only sell it like obviously this time of year and a friend of mine is so into it that she'll go to Costco and get like a giant box of the all the milk eggnog says you can drink it all year long so this is like freezes the rest of it as you like I think it's in one of those like dry storage the last line yeah those are tasty to me I don't I don't really love like drinking a bill glass of milk right so I like the only a little bit better and help Tom when ever I wander past those things similar to the pumpkin spice I do feel this time of year I'm more compelled to buy all of the holiday product it's true and I am being lured in by the consumerism and I'm okay with that I agree with you I think that if I that is the only reason I enjoyed before and I am probably maybe by some of the adult throwback yeah the Allman o'quinn that you got yeah that that was good and then you don't have to make the real raw AG one because I don't know I mean I'm not trying in my dream maybe just personally trying to avoid Ella on the holiday I don't know I think is one of those things back when we were kids we ate a lot of things that were like a I don't think I believe them and what do you usually eat for your like Christmas Eve dinner our Christmas Eve do you have like Christmas Eve traditions that you always do I'm a we do we have a this started sees when we moved to Minnesota so our family does Mexican food for the holidays so we do a lot of the red and green is because of the lettuce and the tomato sauce water salsa is you know I'm gonna do like an enchilada casserole you know we make tamales you know how that say this is the time you that we'd hunker down and people in my family make tamales so I think that that was something that we missed we moved here from Arizona yeah so that was the new tradition that my family started doing this worked out really well because you do so much of the traditional fall type foods I think on thanksgiving that we found that we didn't really all of the stuff that you do Christmas we're not super hammock people yeah and we kind of just did cranberry juice at all yeah we're not with him none of us were super in hand we just yeah yeah now my family does Thai food hello we always growing up we did like Chinese food for a long time and a little and then as I developed my own tastes I was like I really like type it's always going to typhoon I miss that so much because my parents moved there were from and so we moved they moved to Amory Wisconsin we get a really small town and there's no there's very few restaurants in general and this reveille not Thai food so now we got there and my mama make like a roaster something here's my suggestion they don't have a good line of Ty related food to trader Joe's yeah so it means that might trader Joe's is my favorite if you're gonna get some pre packaged Fletcher was in variety of things maybe take a few that because the ally does you can dabble in it and spike it back in I think that's a good idea to be very portable our only absolutely something here and there that would come to work yeah I'm intimidated by a Thai curry making anti Kerr yeah because when we get it right you can get the components of it pretty easily you know at a place like trader Joe's probably hopefuls probably does it too but I know tree I've gotten that variety of foods from trader Joe's before okay that would be fine if you like show up with bags they probably would be expecting already like Hey that's true I have with the the flavor components in the things that really does hit that muscle memory party your pal we need that would be fine what we also got locked because this year we had those on him again on Thursday night but it we couldn't we went to target no lock because and I asked the guy I was like do you have any luck because I know what targeted goal to I maybe but I went to different targets and they didn't have and the guy I don't even know what I was talking about Byerly's inland just Google potato pancakes he's like okay but trader Joe's has changes yes has great lock yes I would also hold the Byerly's and lands on that okay doing all kinds of fun things like you know we spend a little bit different than you know we have some people that are you know we're not too happy with them so we're gonna put a few people in time out including a person that were like you got money to do better do best we'll be right back on the donosi show mission and add a W..

"You can lose twenty to forty pounds in only forty days what a turn of events at this NATO summit if you remember what are present in newly elected first went to his NATO summit is first one he was swinging in wing in he was making project RD of comments he was more friendly to Putin and the old Cold War state of the Soviet Union many was to our lifelong allies he called NATO obsolete he and questioned whether we the United States would even defend our allies if they came under attack why would we do that that's the whole reason that there is an eight in the first place I don't know he actually talked about pulling us out of NATO on Sir what is so it his view of NATO wasn't exactly the strongest in the most positive you and his Burbage wasn't either don't know quite a few Americans who upset when they because we were paying all the bills and doing all the heavy lifting I mean we had like two hundred and ninety thousand troops imbedded in parts of Europe so clearly that the president was surely hitting a vein there but he couldn't be nasty up but you know many people say you you go through maturation you know you're in office at first you make rookie mistakes now he appears to be the elder statesmen compared to his J. V. guy leader of Europe now in the absence of Germany mackerel of friends listen to what he said about my chrome after just having had to sit down with him at the NATO conference very very nasty statements.
