"No active Mormons will always point out at this point that the United Order was fully voluntary and families under duress to participate. This is bullshit Jan yeah yeah. Brigham young was known for many things but issuing suggestions was not one of them more not really known for voluntary. Do It don't. So. From Eighteen, seventy, four, forward, two hundred or so communities implemented some form of the United Order and every single one of them would eventually fail most with only within only a few years. The town of Orrville. In Central Utah which was founded specifically to practice the United Order gave up on it and eighteen, thousand five. One. Of the names name didn't change. I looked up orrville online and at the two thousand, ten, census, fifty, five residents. Yeah tiny. It's tiny if you drive south on eighty nine to Vegas, you drive right through it. one of the last towns to continue the practice was ironically Bunkerville Nevada. If that name rings a bell. It's because it is the hometown of one cliven Bundy. Right? We talked about backing episode Communist. Super Big Fan of a socialist ideas. Yeah exactly. He's famous only for his disdain of centralized government and the specter of socialism. So, there's that. Now. I'm not going to get into the political differences between socialism and communism except to say that most of the experiments under the United Order tended much closer to communism with property and goods being owned by an undemocratic preoccupied with the equality of outcomes. So. This is not the form of socialism that we would find compatible with democratic societies today. These experiments failed for the same reasons that the Soviet system failed in the nineteen eighty s corruption and mismanagement widespread, and so distrust and resentment eventually led the these communities to give on the United Order even though it contradicted. Brigham wishes so. Not a common thing. Yeah. Yeah. But the fact remains that from its inception to right before being granted statehood the Mormon Church was at least trying to be a communist collective. If that seems somewhat incongruous with with the Mormon. Church has become. That's because it is. The fact that an organization only all the way. But only completely totally yes. Yeah. The fact that an organization that would make Adam Smith. was founded on principles that would make Karl Marx. Proud is not lost on modern mormonism. As, churches desperately tried attempted to be accepted in modern society. This history has proven problematic especially since the main political bogeyman of the twentieth century was communism..

"Bad company corrupts good morals. And the truth of the matter is this was investigated thoroughly. And a decision has been made. One person is being charged now. What apartment now what's what's what's getting people angry. Is that that all three cops aren't you know, being a CZ subject to those of the electric chair. They shouldn't have to be. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. The grand jury weighed the evidence which trust me had a variety of colors. On that jury. Evidence was looked at testimony was taken and therefore A decision was made that does not give the right to peaceful protesters to burn their cities down. It doesn't give the right to go shoot an innocent cop that had nothing to do with this. It doesn't give the right to black lives matter. Let's call them who they are. The black lives matter Group. To go out and threaten police in Louisville and threatened them that you're going to get ready, too effing die and now one cup is shot. And cities will burn. Maybe even this city. I won't I wanted to try made about the school lunch program. Yes. I grew up in Essex Massachusetts, and it was a pretty affluent family. My mother and father, and I always had plenty always had plenty of money by me to milks in to ice creams. Every day. But when I was in elementary school. They had this class called home economics which taught kids how to run home like a June cleaver. And what they did was with the kids families that couldn't afford lunch. During the lunch period. You know, it was forty three minutes. Same as a math class or social studies class or whatever. Mcandrew bring him stuff from home, and they would make their own lunch in the home that can learn how to run the stove the dishwasher. Well, Jay Schwartz. World over Washington's wash dishes by hand. Does was. Their favorite class in school. Brennan. Donations and the kids were ashamed. They would learning how to cook. We're going to be self sufficient. Again. Sometimes I'd go there. I'd take my lunch money and buy lunch. Hot lunch in the cafeteria, really. So I just throw that out for food so far. Well, I appreciate that. That's kinda cool in my high school. That was also a home economics department, and it was kind of freaky because it was like a they built the school. I think in nineteen way back in nineteen forty three and back in the day. It was important to have a state of the art home economics centre. So they had it was like a home that a kitchen and the whole thing right weird. And what they did was the ethics element school system. You know, want to be shipped out to go to high school age gloss high school, and that's where I reside. Now in Gloucester originally for mastic forty five years, I'm in my sixties now, but those kids. Mine was back then was thirty five sets of day. Thirty five cents a day. And not to be derogatory. It'd be charged about these people that can't afford kids. I mean, these kids whose mothers and fathers having these kitchen say they came afford to buy lunch around E K. I don't know. Good question. Yeah. I mean, it does that factor into the equation. I don't know. Sully. Thanks a lot, man. All right. So calm economics for the poor kids. They learn how to cook. And I get to eat what they make good idea. Good idea. They care. Thank you very much. We turn. Yeah. Thank you. For your time. A group. Sully grew up in Essex of Whitman's, right? Woodman's clam place. I moved to Gloucester. I wonder what it's like living in Gloucester. I'm I'm curious about that is it is Gloucester report town is working man town is it a blue collar town. Seafaring town, or is that our people out of work in Gloucester? What's going on in Gloucester? Hello gloucester. Six seven two five four ten threes. WBZ I wanted to ask him. Another question too. Because I want to throw this into the mix. Everybody has everybody's gotten fired once right? Everybody. Can we this story when you got fired? Even if it was when you were a kid, what were you doing and? And why does he get fired in? How did it? Go down. Tell it in some details for some reason distract me last night. I was watching TV somebody was getting fired. I realized whoa. Everyone has getting fired starring I'd love to hear them. It's okay. It's not a shameful thing. If you're if you're embarrassed you can use a fake name. Tell me the story of the time you get fired. I'll tell you can talk and talk to me about shame. Shame valuable tool for bringing up a kid or whether that's more harmful than it helps. As far as getting fired. My first job was raking blueberries told you about this. And I I just I wasn't very good at it. I also hated it was really hot hot hot hot. And rubes. Boop. The blueberries day, we didn't take them there were low Bush, and you use a blueberry rake. I was. Not good at it. And when rake blueberries, I guess when you pick them too. They used to have to winnow them. Do you know what winning is? You've heard the phrase win win out the bad, the badness, the bad guy, the bad girl winnow out. It means to sort of get rid of the bad part of something to keep the good part. They had winnowing machines. And when winnowing machine for blueberries is. I motor with a conveyor belts on an angle. And there is a. Fan blowing on the conveyor belt. Up the hill fans going up the hill when you pour the blueberries you picked on the on the winnowing machine. The blueberries roll down the conveyor belt. Variables going up at the blueberries roll down and. There's a fan blowing on it. So the sticks and the leaves and stuff they blow out so only the the various remain the problem with the blueberries I would produce mushy because I was I didn't rate them correctly. And they would yell at me all the time. We can't use these blueberries for regular sales. We have to sell them to table talk for pies because it's mushy, and I guess you don't get the same amount. So finally. I got fired this okay, though. I was so glad and maybe I'm sure that had to do with. Why couldn't really do a very good job? I didn't care. I wanted to get fired. I hated it. And that was my first job. I thought this is what work is going to be like, this is work. Really, this is it the rest of my life. I'm gonna this is what is in store for me. I was pretty bummed out. Another reason I didn't like it was paid four cents a pound and a basket was twenty pounds. So what's that? Four cents a pound twenty that's eighty cents, but it took forever to rake a basket if you've got a soda from the company store, it was twenty five cents. You have to rake like seven pounds blue is just to break even on a soda. It was a bad thing. I wonder if anyone that used to work there or any of the owners are the owners kids listening because sometimes that happens. So I got fired from that one. The fruit picking job. I'm just not that guy. I'm not that guy. I am. So glad there are people that pick grapes in California. So I don't have to. The other thing was picking apples. To get up really early in the morning in the fall is freezing. And wet damp trees, and you go up on a ladder and. Close get wet and cold. This wasn't down with it. I thought I'm never going to be any good at anything. I don't like this. I I had to get all the apples even hard to get ones. I don't know how they got the hard to get was they put the latter are way out in the brands and clam up just to get that one. Apple. So I did my brother, and I did what I guess. I hope other people did the for the difficult ones. We throw other apples at it's trying to knock it off. And then put it in the basket, but the buy saw us doing that. And said, you gotta hear kids. Go home. My brother, and I were both Don fired. And after that, I really didn't get fired. Except one other time in all these years. I can remember is that was the talk show host. My first talk show jabbed down it down. Oh god. W S A R in Somerset Massachusetts, which is on the border this time. I Fall River and the border with Rhode Island. And. There was a. Those rule. You can't talk about Israel that that was ridiculous. I was driving all the way down there. It was an hour each way. And it was not fun having route forty four. I didn't. I actually hated the drive in hated doing the show. But. Something I had to do to get practice and get skills. So I did it was doing it during nine nine eleven. And they said, you can't talk about Israel, which is ridiculous ridiculous. So of course, at some point I talked about Israel anyway. And I got fired. And then you know, who my boss was Todd. He was a talk show host for busy for a while. He was my boss, and then he got fired. Oh, so happy to get fired. Because my work I would not allow me to quit. But. I was glad to be done. It's WBZ. Talk to you..

"And I wanted to mention something before we get started because this was so just insane to me after all of you that that that were, sort of following as. I've. Talked about over the, last several years the Bundy. Case berry interesting you, know when they I went to. Trial from the bunkerville but that was when the FBI. Came in and, they were trying to take, all of the bundy's cows, okay and the government was was doing this. In Nevada and they saw the FBI pushing people to the ground and, they they, saw, them all tacked up and ready to shoot at these protesters, who by the way weren't even armed they were they were just on some of them on horseback on just standing there to protect the cows from, the agents trying to come in, and take them and they were killing them and the. Cows they were doing all kinds of stuff and so people started. Coming from other states and they started coming in to, try and help. This family just like anyone would right that's a good American hearted American well that ended up in trial and the bundy's one and they won they won because they actually went to court and proved that the, agents involved that the. State. That the b. m. Bail there was so much collusion so much lying that even though the state wins. Ninety seven percent of their cases they, absolutely one hundred percent lost this case and with prejudice which makes it even worse for the state that. They. That they they actually prevailed okay because there was, so much lying in collusion going on well I just wanted to, know that when they went back to the same judge the government went back to the same, judge on our, tax time. Yeah just remember that they went back to the judge the judge and they wanted her to reopen they wanted her to to redo it and she, said no okay now she is she's scum in my I can't this woman is. So bought and sold and I did I do think she got a lot of political pressure on this on this case and. She's. Been ruthless on the other people. That, came from other states just to help out the dispatch but on. This particular case she said no so now they're going over her head to go back to ninth circuit court to Get it reopened again again can you believe this and, this is as bad as somebody coming fourth in a murder case and and and proving that the DNA didn't match or that, they couldn't have. Been. There in a million years and the reopening trying to. Reopen, and go after it again even though they already know that's about as bad as that because they have already been proven to lie collude there. Was, so much proof about lying and collusion you couldn't ignore it I mean there was no way. That trial could have gone any other. Way but but, the, way. It went where. The bundy's prevailed because there was. So much of it that they couldn't refute it and. So they were one of the three percent cases that actually win and they're going, after it again that's how ruthless and and nauseating this this judicial system we have while others that we. Are very high profile people, are walking, around. And don't even lose their position or their credentials I mean give me a break This is just insanity going after the American farmer the American rancher like this nothing makes me more upset. That's just what really frustrates me is a vindictiveness prosecutors certain prosecutors will not get that role and. They, cannot lose consider themselves God when I, go after somebody yes they will go after them and I've seen them, I've seen them hide evidence manipulated evidence failure to give discovery to the. Defense all, kinds of this stuff Purposely frame somebody just so they can't lose yes hi collar, welcome show go right ahead True Stops. Here All the time Always stops We should Fired immediately if, he could Oh The president who's, doing Twenty one we know. Gender Twenty-one Ringling high-priority I don't understand though how you're saying. The president's doing this this is the prosecutor is going to. The ninth circuit court We don't Okay. Yeah okay just. A second Just No we don't know what's going to happen at the ninth. Circuit, now if the ninth circuit says yes to this, then, okay I'll follow your line of. Reasoning they haven't said yes to it, yet but. The but what my point was was that the prosecutors actually have the gumption to even. Try that's what was so insane to me is they're actually going to try to do this after losing so. Badly but let's see what the ninth circuit. Does then if the nine circuit, says, yes Bulk of, ninth Prosecutors are. Doing, off automatically okay. Free right now and it was the case ended up where. The bundy's prevail that's. What I'm saying so that went in there and. That, was good now let's. See what happens. So let's see let's. See what happens and then I'll have a problem because, in this case I was president or Aw Would have been fired a long time. Ago agenda twenty. One Breath People need to realize Who's, behind the prosecution well I don't, know if even Ron Paul could accomplish all of, that in one year but maybe I don't know. That I'm gonna guess no.

"L. like freetalklive that'll save. You the fifteen percent. There as we. Continue we've been talking about democratic socialism in. America I wanna get into. This it's actually just one sentence about their philosophy from their groups, constitution and we'll get into. That but first we've got JT k. on the line in Nevada on, Skype go. Ahead JT k. Hi guys I'm calling about the recent conviction in the, Bundy trials sentencing actually Is this? From the. Malheur federal wildlife refuge occupation or we talking about way back from Bundy standoff since ranch or we're talking about the bunkerville standoff now. I know there was a first year. Of defendants where two. Defendants were convicted of felonies the rest were acquitted and went free in the second round we saw the bundys on trial and the entire process. Blew up because it was shown. That the prosecution had hidden, exculpatory evidence from the defendants that should be a prison offense, if any prosecutor in America the land, of the free, and, the, home of the brave, if, any of them. Ever hides sculpture Tori as evidence Wham bam ten, years in prison mandatory I don't care Yeah You, no it's never going to happen because that's not the way the government. Works people stop. Thinking the Justice system is just please go. Ahead so when this came, out of, course the entire trial blew up and they had to let everybody. Go and there was also a third tier prisoners awaiting, trial and they were all they were all. Dropped all charges dropped with prejudice because it was shown that the state had withheld exculpatory, evidence but we still have two people who had already been convicted in the first round of the. Trial one of them tied angle was sentenced on Thursday to fourteen. Years there's this is outrageous for two different. Reasons, one of. Course They weren't they weren't able to take. Care they weren't able to take advantage of the scullery evidence in. Their trials and you didn't get a fair. Trial, that's not Get, the notion. Of a fair trial if he. Takes this on appeal in any way shape or form he should be, able to to come back from it. Then again Thing about. Russell Br Second. Half of the tragedy here's the second half of the travesty after when he was when he? Was, sentenced the state no I'm sorry, when he was convicted he was the jury was hung on a number on a number. Of. More serious offenses okay on, the most serious offenses the jury. Was hung on him so he made a deal, for the. Prosecution said we will we will drop all of the more extensive charges if you agree not, to appeal the two. You've, already been convicted wow Burston the other guy was convicted. Got like seventy years so under, that kind of pressure Totta angle. Agreed, to that deal now what hit so that's outrageous. In and of, itself but on Thursday they actually used when they were when the judge was explaining. Her deliberations in house she came to. The fourteen year sentence she used, the Drop charges against him as if. They were true Is she she used the drop charges against him for He had been, charged with conspiracy to commend, offense, against the United? States and he and he said well? How can, you, can you put that in. The deliberations she said well. Some people thought you did some people thought you didn't I think you did Jeez evidence be damned additionally they? Threw in, through, in a burglary conviction had. From age seventeen thirty three. Years ago as if What happened in bunkerville So. That's how it's. Done just a travesty the man deserves to walk free just like. All the other defendants but because he was convicted before Jerry's were told. Of the government's misconduct He's going to go to prison for. Fourteen years can you outline that misconduct and you know one short minute Oh the misconduct well for instance the they the yes before. The first trial the prosecutor whose name is Myra fired, the lead investigator because lead investigator whose name is Larry Wooten was saying what was telling people, in the prosecution, the, FBI we have not turned over all the exculpatory evidence to. The defense and they said they fired, him you're you're off the case and..
