"Eichel's time is Buffalo Sabre could be winding down sooner rather than later as tsn Pierre LeBron reported yesterday. That the market is starting to heat up on the conversations, and they're becoming more intense and serious by the minute. Some of the teams that LeBron mentioned in his report included The Los Angeles Kings. Minnesota Wild Anaheim Ducks. Columbus Blue Jackets, Philadelphia Flyers. And New York Rangers. Meanwhile, the Stanley Cup playoffs last night, the Montreal Canadians come away with a 32 win over the Gold Knights to even their series at one game apiece. "Are best of edition of the nightcap. Playing back the best of what we heard on the station. Throughout the week. We hear from Aaron shots in the first segment got some football in. Now, Let's change gears to hockey a lot going on with the Sabres. The draft lottery the first overall pick the coach search all that's going on with Jack Eichel in his neck injury. Let's get more of an insider look from T s sins. Darren Dreger, who was on with Andrew Peters and Craig Reveille on Friday morning. If you don't follow him on Twitter, he's at Darren Dragger on Twitter and you know, he's a TSN hockey insider. And about five minutes ago, he tweeted. About to jump on with my pals. The instigators will chat about the Sabres coaching search. Rikard Gronberg, head coach of the Zurich Lions, has been interviewed for the Buffalo job. Good coach. Good morning, Daryn. Horia. I'm doing well. Good morning, guys. So what's up? How's everything going? Don't things are going well, Yeah, enjoying the playoffs for the most part trying to stay on top of, uh, you know, the coaching search and everything that's going on, not just in buffalo Butt. Around the league, and I don't know how surprised you guys would be that Rikard Gronberg would be, uh, interviewed by the Buffalo Sabres. Probably very little. I mean, he's been interviewed by other NHL clubs, I think, most recently, the New Jersey Devils. Real good coach. No question about that long time Swedish national coach. He's been around some top notch players. Nick leads from Henrik Zetterberg go down the list right of all the Swedish great players that He's uh he's been around and his coach more recently. He's been with the Zurich Lions and and is highly highly regarded, frankly. I'm surprised that he hasn't got an NHL head coaching job to this point of his career almost 53 years old. He's got North American experience. He played college hockey at Saint Cloud in Minnesota. So he understands the North American game. Very, very well. So, um, I I would expect that Kevin Adams and Jason Karmanos. Whoever were involved in the interview process would have found him to be impressive because that's the feedback that I've gotten from. Other NHL clubs over the years, so all we can do is throw them in the mix and ultimately will see where the process takes Kevin Adams and the Sabres in their final decisions. Who else is in the mix? Now? We talked about talk it. Obviously Don Granado, Um, U mass coach. What's his name? Greg? Colonel. I think he was one of them like who else is in the mix new names coming up or names that are standing out right now? No. And again, I wouldn't say it's early in the process. You know, they're probably at a point now where they feel like Um, they they basically seeing everything that they need to see. Now, there might have interesting coaches who are still on benches. You know that. We don't know why I've got that feedback from some other clubs or in the coaching search, waiting to see what happens. Um, so I I can't be certain as to who would be the front runner beyond Don Granado? Of course, who We've talked about week after week. Deservedly being you know, in the upper echelon of of the process. But to just just give Dr Gronberg guess, uh for a second I think he's reached a point in his career. I haven't dealt with him directly, but where he might even consider coming over as an associate coach, and that would intrigue me if I were Kevin Adams and and management, the Buffalo Sabres. You know, Donna Granado has shown enough. In the short period of time that he deserves the head coaching opportunity, but you want to bring in something new. Something different in the next Gronberg would be right up there. Rick talk it. I mean, it feels like he's just kind of jumping from one airplane to another, isn't he? You know, he's he's interviewed a couple of times with the New York Rangers. So as Gerard Gallant, his coaching team Canada at least twice. With the New York Rangers, and I'm sure Buffalo is circling back on these guys as well. But you know, beyond what we already know, Marty, I don't think that there are any surprises at this point. Instigators Darren Dreger joining us here, as he always does. On Friday. Now, at a new time at 11 o'clock, we had Kevin on, um last hour, and we did not ask him about Jack's situation. Jackson Neck because you know what he's not going to tell us anything. Um, it's and we're going to be wasting a question. And wasting his time so What do you know? That's why we That's why we like to ask you these questions because you find these things out. And there are, uh there at a very interesting timetable. Right now. They are. They have not made a decision yet on what the ultimate path for recovery is right. Is that again, the more traditional means of just continuing to treatment. Working with the medical staff and and just trying to heal naturally or the surgical route. They have not made that decision. My understanding is That the Buffalo Sabres had a bunch of conversations in the past. Few days this week, certainly gathering all the most up to date information from doctors and again the medical stuff and sources indicate that Adams also met in person. Um, with Jack Eichel's agent, and and that I believe happened as early as yesterday. So the communication is regular. And if nothing else, I think that's a positive step right because it kind of felt like during Jack's exit interview. That this was headed in a nasty direction. And I think things have settled down a little bit because both sides can appreciate, uh, that that the work that needs to get done moving forward here has to be in the best interests of both Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres organizations, So the fact that they're in constant communication is a good sign again. Lots of dialogue this week with the medical group involved with Michael's agent, Peter Fish, but no final decision on ultimately what direction they're going to take. It's time starting to be a pressing issue with that, as well..

On the Buffalo sabers radio network, welcoming everyone to the broadcast. I'm Brian calls hell, Thanks for joining us hope for having a good Tuesday night. We want to welcome in all of our local affiliate stations that have just picked up the broadcast here just after Seven o'clock eastern, The Sabre's coming off of a meeting with the Rangers on Sunday night. Ah, lost by a score of 6 to 3. Buffalo never led in the game. Jeff Skinner, Victor all of sin, Sam Reinhart ended up scoring for Buffalo in that game. Buffalo Tided it one early, first on a Skinner goal after the Rangers grabbed an early lead. But really the rest of the way. The sabers didn't get any closer than a two goal margin at 31 and four to eventually ending it up with a 6 to 3 Ranger win. In that game. Dustin Tocar ski played in goal. He will be the backup tonight who kopeck a Lou Cannon gets the start. The highly I would call it an anticipated start tonight as a saber fans have been excited to see. The youngster in goal. He handled himself very well in his first start in his last outing against the Bruins last weekend, but winning a 6 to 4 score. And some of those goals late went in off of saber players. So I think even just looking at that score four goals against wasn't indicative of how good he played facing 40 shots in that wind over a very good Boston team. Tonight? No, he'll face the Rangers, who also can put the puck in the net. The Rangers are trying to catch the Bruins for that final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. They come into tonight's game in fifth place. In the Eastern Division. They trail the Bruins by four points, but have played to more games in the standing. So a tall task here for the Rangers. They have seven left counting tonight's game. I've got to make up four points on the Bruins, and also two games in hand on the Bruins as well. Hey, we'll take a break when we come back the anthem from MSG and then tan Dun leavey and robbery with the play by play Savers and rangers on the way Next right here on the Buffalo Sabers Radio network. "Took nearly five weeks. 34 days more than 800 hours. But Thursday night, the drought finally came to an end. It was a nightmare to say the least hard practice yesterday, a positive attitude and a little turnaround tonight when number one is a head coach for Don Renato, snapping this 18 game winless stretch their first victory in 19 as they surround Lena's hallmark and a 61 win. Over the Philadelphia Flyers favors win. Haven't been able to say that since February, 25th Nbcsn with call prior to Wednesday, Buffalo had gone Oh 15 and three since their win in late February. It was the second longest winless streaks and shoot outs were introduced in the NHL in 2005, and they tied the 0506 Penguins for the most consecutive losses, including overtime and shootouts. In the 21st century. Over the 18th team in NHL history to go winless over an 18 game span. But the futility of Buffalo is over for at least one night

How Will Postponed Games Help The Boston Bruins?

"Bruins will be they will not have their upcoming games against the Buffalo Sabres both postponed due to Buffalo. Cobra late issues not bruised related issues. How do these poems postponed games affect the Bruins going forward? Well, if you want to look at the negatives first, which I think the only real negative there for the Bruins the fact that they're not going to you know, they're going to add those off to schedule later on when you already got a pretty compressed 56-game schedule like the last thing you want is to just kind of drop those games, you know in March April with the schedule really sets picking up there. So that's Thursday. The only drawback um and the immediate, you know, you look at losing those two games off the schedule probably helps the Bruins right? Because one obviously the priority it's not like this is an outbreak on the email. They didn't you know play a team that you're going to see guys also get held out cuz of, you know contact tracing or testing so the room starts your vote on that regard. But yeah losing those two games for right now seems like it's a I wouldn't say it's good fortune for the Bruins, but they definitely could use it right especially that that's Saturday game. If you play that Saturday home game against the Sabres you're looking at three games in four nights for this team and you look at you know, the amount of guys they already have on the Shelf with the bruskin grzelcyk and Kasha and stood Anika and you add in the fact that you know, they get through that Washington seriously doubt anyone getting really injure like put on the Shelf but held yeah. Yeah exactly, but you still got quite a few guys with bumps and bruises Bruce Cassidy said so the fact that song Um, you know, I'm Bruce Cassidy more or less said that you know, maybe they practiced on Saturday, maybe maybe Sunday but having you know, four days off without actual games is a good choice, you know a good break for the Bruins in terms of letting them rest of these guys who have taken maintenance days as of late. Plus it allows you then to rest a guy like Chris like in Nebraska who would be back pretty soon both guys already started skating at Warrior. So rather than you know, Rush those guys back or have to play know another two games against Buffalo without those guys in the lineup you could rest of those guys, you know work back at their own pace and potentially going to go back on the road again next week have all of a sudden your you know, your second pairing defenseman and your top six guy back in the lineup, so I'm obviously not ideal when you you're having games postponed due to covid-19.

Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defender Zach Bogosian

"Swipe up. I wonder if Zach Bogosian things he got a swipe up. He went from getting weighed by the Buffalo Sabres had his contract terminated Then a couple of days later he signed with the Tampa Bay lightning lightning for one year. One point three million dollar deal obviously going to be prorated goes from Buffalo eight points out of the wildcat to Sunny Florida and Ana Content. That not too shabby on this deal. Make sense right. They they bring in a guy for depth And just for him to have that moment of. It's it's embarrassing right when you when you do get way they didn't want to go to the AHL so everything gets terminated but then when you hear your agent say hey there's some teams interested in Tampa one of them. You just start feeling a lot better about yourself so I don't know how much he'll play. I'm sure he's going to go down. He's going to get the vibe of how that team is. They're going to see how he looks at practice. He'll get a chance. And who knows if he really is a part of this lineup and playing lots of minutes or at all when they end up getting to the playoffs and try to get back what they lost last year and then bashing first round. I don't know of ZAKPA. Gordon will be a big part of that but no matter what he's around a winning culture and he's not playing in the minor so everything's everything's good in his

Hockey News Releases Its '100 People of Power'... Only 4 Were Women

"Look at the foibles PERV Curva lease and mistakes that are made in the hockey media like for example forgetting about all of the influential women on your influential people at hockey. The hockey news put out. It's annual People Power Influence in the hockey industry list. It has a hundred people on it. Ninety six of them were men a There was also a top fifteen media the head. One woman on it. That was Cassie Campbell Pascal. Who's also on the top one hundred list? There was a list of fifteen fifteen non NHL executives somehow. Danny Ryland didn't make that list despite being the Commissioner of the National Women's Hockey League Jayna Hefford also do not make the list it is. It's stunning to me. Like the women that made the top one hundred list were Campbell. Pascal Hillary Night Kim Davis of the NHL and and Hayley wickenheiser maids list. And you think about all of the people that could have made that cut. Here's one that absolutely absolutely stuns me. They have Terry PA- Gula at like number thirty. Something and Kim Gula who if you ask literally anybody buddy within the orbit of the Buffalo Sabres who runs the team. Why it's Kim Pula doesn't make the list you know? Alexandra mandrake you. Who've who've the Seattle franchise hired basically straight away to be their analytics? Group does not make the list. PARV underhill skating. Grew credited by so many people people in this league for improving there game does not make the list you'll to Grad of the NHL. In charge of concussion. Stuff does not make the list like I understand that the immediate default a fall argument is well when you went to quota. I just want you to expand your view beyond every you know dude. WHO's a CEO dude who's the GM dude who's an owner and just default setting to those people being on these lists? Because you know what. Guess what I was on this list. It's a nonsense list. You could literally put uh-huh anybody on this list if you wanted to but you chose to put four women on it out of hundred. That's crazy. Yeah you said you were shocked by Eh. I'm not I think this is a reflection of the views of women and women's hockey particularly. Because you mentioned you know Yes yes Danny Ryland should be on this list. Yes Jayna Hefford should be on this list there. The two women who essentially are figureheads guiding this really tricky landscape of women's professional hockey. Not Right now but this is just how we view women's hockey this. This is how it is. The institutional bias that comes from media comes from other areas. And look were you and I are both guilty of it as well. I don't cover women's hockey as well. They should've I. I'm sure you feel the same way. But the fact that they can't even be recognized like this shows the uphill battle that we have to yeah and the biggest the biggest failing for me. And when we're talking I'm really admit those that I cover it more much more from the perspective and from maybe the the personality perspective that I do the actual casual gameplay perspective on the meaning or as guilty as anybody of knocking the indicate shell a certain level of credibility if I just kind of you know covering it from a what does this mean for women's Women's hockey and here's an interesting player story kind of aspect versus which team is actually leading in the standings. That's that's that's obvious But again like like hundred people on your list and four there were women like there is ample and it's not even it's not even like you know should we force somebody on there to know. Oh there's people that are evidently qualified. You put Don Cherry on the list as a person power influence. He lost all his power and influence this year ear. Congratulations on the hockey

"Game together with the new personalities different lines is it cetera etcetera so there's gonna be a lot of ups and downs some teams are steaming along like Colorado others like Minnesota are in the dumper and so is Dallas we are the two best examples I guess and it doesn't mean that whether good or bad it's sustainable for some of those teams so I think the lightning are working on a different personality here they'll have to recover as Andre polite said again John it gets Pittsburgh many got national coming in Nashville the really good deniers solid they've got scores they play it they play the game hard they execute really well you can't give them power place we got good goaltending so there's all that and then it back out on the road again for basically two weeks right it's going to be play all three New York teams and then leave right from New York to go this week for a week there in two games against the Buffalo Sabres so it's gonna be a long haul once the team gets back from that trip to Sweden in there be basically the middle of November already that you see where you're out there points wise and you get a chance for things to even out a look a lot more normal December's not bad as far as the schedule goes in a January yet your yet up with the all star break I think it's eight or nine days this year all together but then it's a grind down the stretch but in the immediate future here you know playing one game to the next and get their defensive game back in order their battle level and take care of the park the right way that'll be the order of business have you seen anything to indicate.

"Eric resear- is joining me now. And boy, it was CB J on fire that this is going to be a fun final home game for them tomorrow. Yeah. I think so it'll be against the Boston Bruins, seven o'clock puck drop, and you're probably gonna expect Sergei Bobrovsky in net. And he leads the league in shutouts. Unreal. Got his ninth one last night in that four nothing feeding of the Buffalo Sabres, and there's a team that looks pretty listless. It's buffalo and unfortunately for them it's going to be a long off season if they're going to fire their head coach even though he's in his second year. But you've got a big win on Saturday night against the Nashville predators couldn't have gone any better for the jackets this weekend. Who now? Jump into that first card spot and avoid for right now the Tampa Bay Lightning, but NBC's projection has them against the Washington Capitals in the first round. So I did go on Twitter and ask the question who right now would you rather see the jackets face in the first round the Washington Capitals or the Tampa Bay Lightning? And so far seventy five percent say they'd rather see the capitals over the lightning. But there's a question there last this throughout the show is look the capitals have been your boogeyman the past two seasons. But the lightning are the best team in hockey. So it's kinda like you do you want to try an exercise that demon? You wanna try to face hockey's best team? It's a team that's playing now. The one that played versus the predators on Saturday that team the one that's played the last few games. Do they they have a real shot? Yes. Against the capitals right now, they have a better shot against the capitals. Jackets fans is focused on this field. A team that's playing the best. But again, so it'll be Boston tomorrow night the New York against the Rangers Friday Saturday against the Ottawa Senators from the central. Hello. Hi. Oh Honda dealers sports desk. If we still got some time, Eric Reaser, NewsRadio six ten WTVN. I did want to give you some props though on your minute man madness bracket with the Auburn Tigers making their way into the final four like you said from the beginning of this. It was something look if they beat Kentucky. I I don't think there's a team that they can't beat right now. Because again, Kentucky looked almost as good as anybody. And so for your Auburn Tigers who have Virginia and look this is as bad of a final four matchup as the network could have hoped for CBS. Auburn in Virginia will be your first game Saturday at six that Texas Tech and Michigan state. So boy, here's what it's come down to for the VIP. It's me and Tony White and he is up by a few. He's got Virginia. Final game. I've got Auburn in the final game. Whoever wins this game on Saturday is in essence going to win it. And if you'll just remind listeners how many times you've felt that a bracket. None. This would be my first time just goes to show you that to everybody. Well, you said the broken clock. Right twice. I'd say it's more than that. Because brother, you did it as good as an or is better as anybody could have asked for so again.

"Upper right, hand corner Twitter Facebook Instagram Twitter is where I reside most of the time. But Sergey Steve does a great job with Instagram and Facebook, but Twitter at. Cigar. Dave show is my handle and follow me along not just for cigar and alpha male related maneuvers. We get into politics. I get into anything that I enjoy whether it's aviation sports awful low Bill. Syracuse Orangemen Tampa Bay Lightning Buffalo Sabres you name. It. We get into it. Fear. Not. All right. Let me reintroduce our guests. I up somebody Dave covina's a resident who's been doing this with us? I don't know twenty some odd years it's over twenty years. Yeah. General hard to believe. Sure is and this is, but it's been fun. And the great thing is every year. No matter if we do champagne or sparkling, we do Irish whiskey we do. Cognac or we do cabernet sauvignon. There's always new spirits and wines to try. And that's the best thing about it. I was just gonna say that for all the years doing bourbon, there's all these other bourbons now that have come on look at all the different Irish whiskeys. That's right. The end of the year when we do the sparkling wine. I've always got a nice French champagne or in American sparkling wine to bring it turned you onto and it's really unique. And we talk about Irish whiskeys it has it really went into a long period of decline. But it started a renaissance a resurgence much like cigars did cigars about twenty three twenty four years ago. But when you look at Irish whiskeys, probably in the last seventy years, we've seen a major explosion and angel Benitez the senior executive general manager of all the corona cigar stores in Orlando three in Orlando and the Davidoff Geneva store lounge here in Tampa. You now have full liquor bars at all of the locations and you've seen an increase a big spike in Irish whiskeys as well. We have Jameson still holds strong. But you know, it's kind of funny because there's so many other Irish whiskeys out there, and I tell them or do is it it's a really really good one. And we've got him. We're going to sample that Dave Tournus onto that about three years ago. Three years. Oh, like crazy repackaged beautiful packaging, and we've got a couple that I'm looking here that I'm not familiar with lamb bay. They're small batch and lambaste single malts Monday day. Tell me about Lambie, sir, right off the coast of Ireland, which is Irish territory is an island called Lambie. The whiskey is brought to the island and cognac barrels it because it's on the island. It gets all that sea salt, which will give it a little I dine in the cast will be exposed to all the very nice sea salt air, so lamb bay here. We've got your single malt and a. It's a small batch and a small batch. Thank you very much. So we're going to go off with the single malt. I it's going to have a really nice mahogany Brown. Color to it. The aromas gonna be green fruit. Here's your ripe bananas again that one you like, and you're gonna tasteful coconut mall and dry, berries and fruit with this. It's gotta be real nice got a little bit of spiciness to this. Well, as I look at the bottle. This reminds me exactly of the Breckenridge American whiskey, Bob. Yeah. It's the same exact same bottle. I looked at it. But again, I love the packaging definitely not your traditional little bit more edgy almost looks like there's a penguin looks like a guy that looks like a penguin almost with the with the tuxedo. There's word there's a plane on here. And again when I look at this to me this this screams fun. Yeah. This. So this is the single malt finished in cognac cash triple distilled blended with their Lambie island. Trinity well-water finished in cognac casks. I cannot wait to get to this. You're looking around. Fifty three dollars a bottle for this. And as far as the Glasgow's, there's only so many glassmakers they're outselling glassware to the different distilleries. So that's where you'll get the repetition on whether it's whisky rum vodka. You'll get the same looking glass. Well, I'll tell you this right off the bat. Lot going on a lot going on sweetness. Some sizzle on here some spice taking on. Yeah. That's for it being aged out there. Oh, yeah. Island not not it doesn't. It's not super sharp words going to knock you down. But it's got that. Sizzle coming down angel. Would you think it's pretty good? You get that little sweetness. And then that spice I'm getting a cognac that little finish Dylan. I'm gonna take that one. These are unbelievable. I mean, every once somebody Dave every one that you have selected so far has been outstanding. Well, general the is always on to give you the top of the line. So very fortunate that the brands I represent our back quality. Now this to me I'm getting on the on the pallet here. Getting a little bit. Trying to think a little cognac a little bit of almost a malt coconut, not a mall. Not a coconut. I'm trying to it's almost it's a sweet raise any type of tastes. I can't tried Perry for now. Yeah. And he hits the front of the mouth it. Does it does like a little sizzle and then it teams right down. But this is delicious fantastic. Now next up from by the way, who Lamba is at a new distillery. That's yeah. This brand new. It's. Brought to the United States by cognac. Supplier came. This is there. What's what's happening is the suppliers for all branching out? They have tequila vodka. They have whiskey and this is their whiskey. Let me take a look at other. I just noticed this on the back label. They actually have a taste grid where here are the different. It's a circle, and they've got balanced fruity floral Woody multi salty, spicy sweet body. And what they do is. They actually have a little grid on here. And. Post this because I'm the one that we just had the Lambie single malt finished in cognac, basically tends towards the fruity the floral the Woody the multi and the sweet. Now, we're going to go to the Lambie small batch blend Irish whiskey. Also, this is the small batch plan. Correct. But this is the single this is the single, wait. Is that was that the single malt? Yeah. That's single malt. That we just had to this is the small. Okay. So we reversed it. Okay. Right. So basically, all right. So let me just I made a little mistake. Okay. Got now. So the Lambie whiskey this one it says looking at this particular, this is going to be more sweet and spicy it. Just goes right on right? Yeah. Little little bit of floral, but not in really ten stores, the sweet and spicy. So let me. Pour that will take that. And again looking at this little bit lighter in complexion. Yes. Little bit lighter in complexion. So let me swirl this around here with it being a single batch. You're not gonna get, you know, the different we'll say cheers colors of the different blends. And all that that you have. Definitely sweet and spicy. They hit it right on the nose. Yeah. Man. This is great. He's two that's thirty bucks a bottle thirty dollars. So you get the wood. That's really good which is the spice and it had a little bit. It's sweetness to it. Yeah. Little lighter on the palate. Also Grech little bit lighter on the it's not as viscous as the other because of the cognac, but I to put this one too. I love this just said it over there. I mean, if if I never had another bourbon or scotch whisky just had all of these very happy. I mean, this is a I think more people need to be turned on Irish whiskey triple fermentation process explained that against somebody. Dave why that's so important. Well, because it softens it up. Would you do the double distillation at the end of it? You're going to have a little bit of the harshness from that lasts distillation. So when you do a third dislocation it softens it up. Plus, the fact that it's either call them distilled, which is continues distilled or pot still which is just one particular distillation, and they do that three times. Just softens it up all the way round. I'm already Paul. Bradley black-market, filthy hooligan, Barbara Paul it pairs up perfectly every single Irish whiskey. I don't know if Alec Bradley. Jim and Ralph Montero Jorge Sosa if they intended to do that. But this just pairs beautifully any Irish whiskey. It is just so smooth. And it just it's very complimentary. One doesn't overpower the other now very nice. All right. Next up. We're going to go into to do. Now somebody Dave, you expose me to l'amour do that was a relatively new single malt or new Irish whiskey about five years ago. Maybe a little bit longer. You you introduce me to to more do the bottles were different. They've read they've rebranded it. It's much more elegant much more noticeable on a shelf now. Yeah, it goes all the way back to the seventeen hundreds to Lamar do where they. Started and everything and a stable boy who then eventually became the president of the distillery has taken it to where it is today. Of course, he has passed many years ago, but his great grandson, now's running it and his name was. Dawson e Williams, and that's where the do comes from. It's from the town of Tula more. That's what d e w. Yeah, that's his initials that's his his first name middle name. And last name all right now to Lamar do which just opened up a new distillery back in seventeenth. So it's like a year and apple okay? One of the first to come and started going from three distilleries to the fourth distillery, and we are going to be sampling five different only four. We don't have their regular one. I thought you were bringing it. So I didn't bring my I thought I did did I not know because a lot of people have tried to l'amour. Do they've done a great marketing job. It's out every go wrong with it. I sweet smooth very very nice, and it's just a retail for the regular tilamortgage like nineteen dollars a barrel. No, all right. So we've got the two l'amour. Do we got the twelve year old twelve got the fourteen year old? And we we've got ten we've got the ten. In the twelve to fourteen and the Caribbean. Casper. Okay. We don't have the cider gas now. Okay. Got it. So let me scratch that one off. So we've got the ten the twelve fourteen and the rum cast. This is going to be interesting. So let's start with the two l'amour do twelve. We've got that right here. All right fantastic. We're going to or this. You're going to get a little bit of spice on this. It's going to have a deep robust taste. It's going to be right on the nose big-time pair..

"Blue jackets are tied at three goals apiece. Doc. All right. Let's check out scores around the NHL twelve games tonight. They're almost all final and. The. Three massive nights of hockey this week for some reason, there's just almost every team is on the Avs schedule right now where it's game day off game day off. So we're having these met like Thursday night, there's fourteen hockey games. And then on Saturday, there's fourteen hockey games. Like in the NHL like this is a good time of the year. All right. The finals look like this. Well, I guess if easier pledges to tell you about the one of the game that's currently underway. Right. The Edmonton Oilers taken on the Chicago Blackhawks as we speak. They have played two periods of hockey. They're in Edmonton and the Oilers had themselves a two one lead over Chicago. The Boston Bruins taken on the New York Islanders. That's a two of the three teams are going to face on this upcoming trip. They take on the capital's in Washington on Thursday. And then they go back to back Saturday and Sunday against the New York Islanders and then the Boston Bruins. The Bruins beat the aller snipe. Boston gets the three one victory is Bruins scored twice there in the third period. Depict the win. Patrice Bergeron score two goals. Say eighteen on the season. This is a game. He's remember for a while. He scored two goals and tonight was his one thousand career game there so became for Patrice and took caress who made twenty eight saves. The Bruins get the three one win over the islanders. Buffalo Sabres taken on the y. I really wish buffalo could held onto this lead. The the sabers were up two goals. And in the wild scored three in the second both teams tack on one in the third. So they go into overtime. So many picks up the point no matter what. But luckily buffalo wins it in the shootout five to four sabres with the victory and the wild with the one point now fifty seven points over here, the central the Panthers did the same thing. Florida panthers. Had a two goal lead against the Saint Louis blues, and they kicked it Panthers up two nothing in the third period. No less and then the blue score three in the third to show up and over Florida get the three two victory. Saint Louis now is one point ahead of the avalanche Saint Louis with the two points that are now sitting on fifty three which is insane considering how they started the season the LA kings were in New Jersey taking on the devils. And the kings have starting to play some good hockey. They score five tonight. They got forty eight points with the five one victory over the devils. Tyler toffoli with two goals. He scored those in the thirty scorgeous thirty five seconds apart in that one to just pay two quick goals and the king's roll over the devils. Pittsburgh ping was host the Carolina Hurricanes night for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Tonight was totally awesome. Eighty s night. So they had everything everything was eighty s and they had some eighties band. I can't remember who it is. But what would I do? Remember is that the pay one set up there at PJ PPG paints arena in Pittsburgh, they set up miss pacman and Calica in all those eighties video games all the way around the concourse, and they were free for anybody to play. So you could go to the Pittsburgh Penguins game tonight and play video games all night. And then watch the pig was get hammered. They got smashed. I four nothing by the Carolina Hurricanes. But I'm always there for a good eighties. Eight the capital's taking on the connects get the win three two two is TJ OC scores. His sixteenth season. Rain hope he makes thirty saves caps with that three to win sixty four points to connects still on fifty four they still hold the final spot there in the Western Conference currently with their fifty four points there. Two points ahead of the Avs one point ahead of Saint Louis. Three points ahead of Edmonton. Arizona and Lanman Anaheim and a five points ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks that's how jam packed the Western Conference is as of late the Montreal Canadians taken on the ducks tonight and mantra wins that one four two one. Carey price for twenty four saves between the pipes the Vegas Golden Knights in the Tampa Bay Lightning just went into shoot out. And it's the nights getting the win and shoot up fashion three to two, but Tampa still picks up a point which means the lightning are now at eighty one points leading. Everybody in the NHL, the predators had not too many problems with the cowardice is the press get the five to win Filip Forsberg is nineteenth of the season sharks. And jets went at it. Here's something I disliked completely a three point game over here in the west that the sharks and jets went into overtime and the sharks get the three two win over Winnipeg joepat Belsky his twenty ninth of the season. It looks like who that Logan couture scored the overtime winner there for San Jose Sharks win with jets pickup point. They now have seventy one on the year. That's what the NHL looks like quickly over to the NBA to hit you with some scored. The Celtics have the Cavaliers one of three to ninety six. How about this score Lakers rolled into Indiana Pacers tonight Pacers won that game one thirty six to ninety four Indiana. Just the Lakers. Lebron James eighteen points, seven rebounds, nine assists, clippers over the Hornets. One seventeen to one fifteen the pistons roll into New York and beat the Knicks. But who doesn't do that one? Oh, five ninety two Detroit with win raptors handled. The Sixers one thousand nine one zero seven grizzlies get a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. How do you like them? "Side looked like it hit me, go Koivu and tumbled up and over the glass. So we get a whistle. No score with thirteen twenty four left in period. One tastes working on a three game point streak. Cain. The current leader. A point streak in the NHL. Ten straight games for nine goals, sixteen assists, twenty five points for that. Do. Play at center ice pattern, drives the puck off the right side boards and down behind the hawk net. Rolls around to the left corner. Marcus Felino their chipped it away into the far corner. Victor Raskin, Connor Murphy battle Murphy checks the puck away but pattern came down for the right white. Suspend the puck down along the end boards behind the hawk net. Selena's got it there. Lino gave the puck harassed moves around to the blue line, then it across into the left corner. Felino their Pollino lease it along the left wing half boards now for yellows Brody, and he's pushed off the puck with a nice play by Marcus trigger perfume went in to get the puck is step. Stick was lifted by Felino squirming. Susan the corner over the Deel is right at the left wing corner for awhile parallels. Drums able to extricate the puck from Jordan Greenway of the wild. Connor Murphy moves it up. Up the left side, Brandon. Saad can't clear it out kept in by the wild Greenway. Now lost the puck in the far corner as he's hit by David camping goes down. But a penalty is going to be called here to the hawks clipping is going to be the call and the wild are going to get their first power play opportunity. Venite good hard working shift. By the vendor sort of wild draws the penalty point Marcus Felino hundred thirty four hits coming into tonight's game. He's a big strong man and the Jordan Greenway you mentioned to me is six six two hundred thirty pounds. Eight were just muscling the puck around the boards on a drawing the penalty. So Blackhawks we'll be on the penalty kill for the first time in Buffalo Sabres able to get one by Cam ward. Tall shots on goal on their three powerplays. Blackhawks got to cut down those opportunities to ten more. Great saints right now. The wild have three shots on goal. So far the game. They control the puck off the draw random the left point down to Jason's sucker left corner to Michael gremlin beside the left wing circle. Senate to the left point Ryan Suter lose at top of the right wing. Brad hunt recently acquired from Vegas as I mentioned earlier but down behind the hawk net to grantland along the left boards to suit or flat Mahut, right circle. Hoxha one-timer toward the net partially blocked by Keith wild, retain, possession, grantland and the left wing corner suites it behind the hawk net stall centers that's over the stick of everybody to the near boards. Grandma. Got it against the left wing how scrambling to the left. Faceoff dot centers. Golfer Jason Graham, the goal at eight twenty two. The wildly one. Assist. The last six games for Zucker before this is an excellent play by grandma fakes the shot into slides it into that high slot area. Tough. I think for Anisimov try drift down into into that Scott. Everybody including Delia thought that the shot was gonna come from grandma and grace little pass a little toll drag pass looker and a great shot by offering her top quarter fourteenth. This season was fifth on the power play. Minnesota one nothing mission accomplished that have been assaulted wild. The first time in the four games at these two teams played scored the first goal. Nothing in favor of the wild. As we rejoin the play in the far corner hawk zone. Parcelling got to the puck at a jammed office. Stick by Koi around behind the hawk net into the near corner. Dominic Senator have to center ice on strong, Alex debrincat stepping in over the wild line to the right point dumps the puck out of the right wing corner. That greasy their hands a decoy who then lost the puck along the boards. Brodine is able to fight it free. From Stroman Wilbert around up the right side, the coil who retreats down to the corner. And then sweeps the puck in behind the wild. Yoenis Brodine, oxen line change grow. Dean moves the puck to the right wing side. The pattern ahead to quaver wildlife. Mrs on a pass up ice it slides down behind the hawk net. But no icing call Augusta. So now takes a pass from Colin Delia on the right boards hawk zone. Sat down into a wild in Ryan Suter got to it there. Vetted ahead on the left wing side into the hawk zone. Eric Fehr yet with silver check by Gusta some but fair now has the puck in the right wing corner to the right point off Spurs and stick here comes great. Could you try and try it free ways at the wild blue line and the wild KT Brown slaps it back. Deep into the wild zone near circle as caves was held up right at the wild blue line Barrick, fair that makes a pass up the left wing for J T Brown into the hawk zone to the left wing corner. Dad was teddy Brown who played for the Minnesota. Vikings JT with the puck along the left boards to next Steve point with a shot, and like let's say made by Delia, and then one of the wild heading to the net a little bit late GO that's Hendricks. He was pushed away there with a sticky glove there from Carl dalstrom now saying something to one of the referees. Matt Hendricks is not going to take shortcuts. That's why he's been around the NHL for as long as he had. This doesn't have a ton of skill but voiced by a lot of heart. He's going to try and get into the face of the goaltender. He's going to get right into the crease area. Little bit late as you mentioned getting into the crease trying to track down that puck and Kolstrom cut off. What Matt Hendricks is all about give it everything that he has in each and every time he's in the lineup. The drawn out to Gillian's right one by the wild Jordan Greenway back in the net. Get by Dunkin leaves the puck along the boards as dangerous pass to the front of the net. They're doing off, but he put it over his French Seabrook along the right boards, declares to center ice cayden per lenient. The wild line they crisscrossing per Laney backhands it into the right wing corner wild zone. Lies behind the net to stay lock who Clair's it to the left wing boards portfolio. And then Hayden steps into him kicks the puck down behind the wild nets day. Locked we'll wave it over to the far corner Duprat hut. Passes on the left wing for Wayne over the hawk line. Seabrook down to the ice. Yeah. I'm with you. This is a terrible. Call. Has got to be set off for what tripping is the call on the wild. They're going to get another power play. We'll have it for you. When we return nine twenty nine left in the first period. One nothing wild. This is Blackhawks hockey on seven twenty WGN Chicago's very own seven twenty WGN. Revved up. Maybe it's heading toward that next adventure driving farther in exploring more or maybe it's just spending less time. Worrying and.

"Now. No. Blackhawks radio. Chris Boden three straight wins. After a five game losing streak. The Blackhawks pick up their thirteenth wind under Jeremy Carlton and their thirteenth win in their last fourteen meetings against the Buffalo Sabres says they win this one tonight by final score of seven to three. Let's dive right in tonight's postgame lines as we take you up until ten o'clock here tonight. We'll get some post game reaction from this victory. I wonder if eighty eight is going to be part of that post game reaction I'm willing to to gamble on that one a little bit. But how said back to the key Bank center for a few minutes with Troy Murray, and Troy this one turned into a white knuckle or a bit in that third period. A good John to bring up in that first intermission right after it wrapped up wondering whether the legs would be there in the third period. They were certainly there in the second. But for a while the the second win and hats off to Cam ward because he he faced a ton of shots once again tonight that may be a bad thing. But in the end, he was the one who kind of guided them through until the offense could get going again they have to. Find a way to cut down the shots against they're asking too much for the goaltenders. But you gotta give credit to the buffalo. Sabres? They made a goaltender change after the second period, they really came out to Termine to start the third period. And boy they put a lot of pressure on the Blackhawks they closed to within one goal. And then a long range shot from Connor Murphy. I think took the window the sales of the Buffalo Sabres and then an empty net goal by by Kane. And then with just over half a minute to go Brandon Saad scores another won his second of the night. But the Blackhawks finished the game strong. But there was some anxious moments there without a couple of big saves by Cam ward things could have been different Cam Ward's been solid all season long now over the five hundred Mark on the year nine eight and four but an excellent job by Cam war. Nixon job way, the players to hang in there and find a way to to win this one. And then some real fun and excitement at the end of this game for Patrick Kane picking a four point camp took one off the noggin tonight. He also had his leg. Looked to be twisted. Looked really uncomfortable getting backed up, but apparently he's ok managed to stay in there and finish things off and. And how about Patrick I mean he was dangerous coming into this game. We were all wondering whether certain trends that had been seeing prior to this nine daybreak would carry over. But you figure he had be extra fired up as the always going back home. It probably has to be extra sweet. Because of the way the sabers were obviously trying to play against him early in this game, the sabers a little undisciplined playing against Patrick Kane. But obviously they had a game plan that they were gonna try and take take Patrick out of it. Well, didn't work they drew a couple of penalties to interference calls, and I liked the way that on both plays at a little late hits by the buffalo. Sabres was responded immediately by the Blackhawk players an excellent job by Seabrook on the second one at the tail end of the second period and then in the first period Jonathan Teves jumps in there as well. And gets a roughing call against the big defense for the Buffalo Sabres Ryssdal line in, but they did an excellent job in this one sticking together. And it really shows a lot that they were able to to hang tough in this one. Find a way to get some space. At the end of it, and then have some fun and in that first incident Jonathan tapes was quick to jump on restore land. And he drew a roughing penalty himself Drake Agila off to the side with another sabres play. Let's let's discuss could ULA. And you know, we we started seeing some of the benefits of having him on that line. When Jeremy Carlton decided to put him on the left side along with Dave's and Kane, and there were some opportunities. Maybe he was maybe he was a little too generous in his first couple of games in terms of giving up the puck. But he seemed a lot more aggressive tonight. And he certainly was paid for it. His game is biz being tenacious and relentless. And that's something to the Blackhawks were looking for in that trade bringing jeweler here, and then really having that determination great speed up front, and and being a player that likes to disrupt things and he's not going to back down. We saw him in that fight earlier on what he got here with the Blackhawks she's not afraid to mix it up not a big guy, but he competes hard, and that's what you're looking for. And I think he's been a real nice fit for Jonathan tapes and Patrick Kane. Three points in this game. Tonight. A go on a couple of SIS plus one had three shots on goal. So let's move right in its player with the most heart is going to be draped cajole. We just mentioned some of those numbers in sixteen and a half minutes. I thought he was really effective in this game, and it all areas and had a great opportunity to match Patrick Kane at the actually wouldn't have because Cain what had five points two goals and three assists with that late opportunity that you had the hallmark made his best save of of the third period on a Drake cajole. But transplant the most hurt is could up player with the most heart. Sponsored by mercy hospital, cardiovascular services, great call. There were definitely stretches in this game where the Blackhawks were trapped in their own end. They were scrambling in their own end. But then you you mentioned something that seem to really jump out in that second period was the way the Blackhawks eventually found a way to counterattack with the sabres. We're doing I thought that was great now. So you thought they did an outstanding job of crashing the nets night. We haven't always seen that as as consistently as we'd like to see. What the hawks this season. Now on a great example of Duncan Keith jumping up into the play at the right time taking a little feet in the neutral zone. And again that was a turnover by the Buffalo Sabres in the offensive zone. Quick turnaround by the Blackhawks Patrick Kane up to debrincat little touch pass and Duncan Keith jumps ahead. I mean, how many odd man rushes in this game to the Blackhawks have against the sabers? It was really a loose structure game by the sabres. And I know that Phil Housley is not going to be happy. The sabres are not going to be happy the way that they started. This lengthy homestand here that there really could make the difference between their make it or break it this year. So great job by the Blackhawks to take advantage. And then you could see that the the sabers feeling a little bit of pressure and pushing they know what this game meant to them. They could have closed the gap to within one point of the Columbus blue jackets in the wildcard spot, and they weren't able to do that. This is a big loss. But you could sense that they were there are pushing a little bit in the Blackhawks from smart plays in the buffalo. Sabres maybe a little bit too fancy at times trying to overpay. Pass a little bit. And when they did that they turned the park over on the Blackhawks able to quick counterattack and you're like Patrick Kane's goal that was a turnover and he gets a breakaway this first goal of the game. You know, that gave the Blackhawks that real good opportunity to feel good about themselves in this game. Because of the mistakes that the sabers were making. Yeah, the buffalo route certainly had an opportunity in the first fifteen minutes to jump on the Blackhawks quickly. And when they were doing that, except they they weren't able to light the lamp, and this isn't sabres postgame live by any means. But now that you've gotten a chance to look at this team the makeup of it. And you know as as greatest season Carter Hutton had for Saint Louis last season. I think Lena's ullmark is has been the better goaltender of the two here for the course of the season. But I think you're you're starting to see how some of these pieces are beginning to fit together the high draft choices that they have had in a couple of other moves that they've made even though Jeff Skinner will be a free agent this season. Whether he returns remains to be seen. But I think are you starting to see what what you know. Some wise drafting is at least start. To create their on that sabres team. Well, if you if you look at you know, where this team strength is. And it isn't that young core group of guys. Sam Reinhart was picked up with the second pick in two thousand fourteen Jack Eichel the second pick two thousand fifteen which means they weren't very good during those seasons. Crystalline and the big defenseman is going to be a mainstay. He's only twenty four years of age. He was the eighth overall pick and thirteen. So you're looking at thirteen fourteen and fifteen these bears are big pieces of the puzzle now, and you get the first overall pick last year razzmatazz dawn, he's going to be a great player Dolly. And he's going to be a great player. He's only eighteen years of age. And then he's got a lot of cheering to do. He's got to get stronger. He's got to get a lot of things, you know, as it moves forward. But they've got some good young forwards upfront Casey middle status. Another one in seventeen. So they've really got some good young pieces. What they're going to do with Skinner is a tough call. He's an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He's making five point seven million this year. He's gonna get a big race. And twenty six years of age. He's still got a lot of good years left. So I mean, the Buffalo Sabres are going to have a tough decision. What to do with Skinner? Do. They want to pay him the big bucks that has numbers are going to say that he should be getting right now thirty one goals in the season. He was in second spot coming into tonight's action in goals scored this year. But you know, I'm not sold that you want to give him some huge. Money's had a great year and he fits in nicely Jack Eichel, but the pieces are starting to fall into place here for the Buffalo Sabres it may be a little bit. While before it gets into place Carter Hutton was brought in here to be the number one guy said so he's had some good stretches here but three nine and two in his last fourteen games in four more goals in his last four games. So some bad things. Also from Carter Hutton right now. She tries to regain some confidence. Probably going to be calling you to the bus. You're pretty soon. So one more for you before we cut you loose here. And appreciate you sticking around. Now that this first game is under the belt. You do open though with a back to back with. Traveling situation. The Blackhawks in better shape after this game physically coming out of the break after that long left..

But golden you'll spin it down to Skinner behind the net in front of common candy store. Skinner sex common Palmdale who moved in from the race circles in the area in front of the hawk men. Took a pass onto his backhand and put it past Camborne. It's now four two in favor of the hawks with sixteen twenty one left in the third. The Blackhawks a little casual rate now, maybe a little fatigued, whatever it may be. But just a little bit casual in their coach they had a couple of parts of the possession and didn't manage it. Well, turned it over the pressure of the Buffalo Sabres better player palm and Bill was eleven th of the season healthy scratch last game against the Dallas Stars on restricted free agent at the end of this season. "Twenty five twenty two buffalo, still a minus three. Gold of ranch old Pittsburgh's plus twenty. So that kind of tells you that Pittsburgh should eventually right their ship. Even though they've lost two in a row and played five hundred hockey here over the last ten games that have dropped four or five. Remember, the sluggish western trip, and then another loss to the devils which just blows my mind back on Monday. Now, Pittsburgh tonight has got Tampa, which is a huge test. So a really good opportunity here for the sabres if they get a win against Dallas. That's going to be tough at a Pittsburgh loses to Tampa than the buffalo. Sabres will find themselves right smack in that playoff situation. The only other game last night of the three was the Rangers getting shut out by Philadelphia. The final score. There was one to nothing kind of strange game yet to backup goaltenders going against each other in Alexander Georgi of Anthony stole ours. And it was stole ours. Who stole the show literally made some big saves against Kreider on the power play in the second period. Rangers gross. Outshot Philadelphia for the jar this game thirty eight to nineteen for the game but stole ours. Just would not be denied gets a second NHL shutout in seventeen starts and Philadelphia's now on five in a row the Rangers three game winning streak goes by the boards. And I'm really not sure how much you can criticize the Rangers. Even coach David Quinn said didn't like the start a little bit of a sluggish start which they gave up the goal to to Lynn home. And that Lindblom excuse me, the made a one nothing amid in forty seconds into the game. And that was it. I had a chance to talk to Ryan Strom at the end of the first period. And I asked him did Philadelphia have an advantage having played the night before and you had gone ten days without playing and he said maybe in the first couple of shifts while the first couple of shifts is were Philadelphia got their goal and neither team scored again. But the Rangers were the better team. I thought they executed. Well, I thought they drove to the net. Well, got quality shots just stole ours. Stole it literally. I mean, that's going to happen sometimes in games. So I'm not sure the Rangers should make getting. Adjustments. They had to go with seven defensemen eleven forwards. Pablo butchnevich was a healthy scratch. Mat-su guerrillas got the infected foot and now Brett how and went down with a knee injury. And he's going to be evaluated. Looks like he might be out for a while. So it's becoming clear to me. Now, even though the Rangers are still mathematically alive, and they had this little bit of a spurt with a three game winning streak the visiting that has to clearly start thinking about the future. And now it's about getting everybody healthy like Hayes who did come back into the line of playing for the first time since January second with the upper body injury. Try to get Matsue Carello playing. He was doing very well five game point scoring streak nine points in that span before the foot infection because you've got to start trading. These guys I mean, that's what's going to have to happen here. And it's kind of frustrating doing the show here in New York and doing ranger games. There seems to be this momentum building among ranger fans that you can't trade Kevin Hayes. I understand you want them to be a part of your future. But you gotta think he went and became an unrestricted free agent by signing just. One year deal. All right. He had a bet on myself deal where he wanted to have a big year for the Rangers. We can parlay that into big contract. It was smart and outside of the injuries. It's worked. He's had a good season. But he's a center he complained wing. I talked to Dan Rosa from NHL dot com and the second intermission last night. He said teams are very interested. I think you can look at Winnipeg. He would be a perfect fit there for a for a rental to try to win the Stanley Cup. I think Dallas would be interested. I think Nashville would be interested. It's probably couple of Eastern Conference teams. They would love to give something up for Kevin Hayes because of his versatility..
