"This isn't about, well, they had to make some business choices because maybe people weren't buying enough milk and bread and sugar in the local Chicago neighborhoods. No, they were running for their lives. For God's sake, they were shutting down. They couldn't shut down fast enough and get those those stores closed. Welcome to another Financial Guys podcast. I'm Mike Hayflick along with my partner Mike Speraza. Mike, how you doing buddy? I am good. I am good. We talked about this on our morning show. We got a Bill's win this week. That felt good. Oh, that was so good. Yeah, so hopefully they keep that going in Washington this week. Yeah, and it's definitely like a palpable feeling in Western New York and across, I guess, Buffalo Bills fan land when they win versus when they lose. And so, I don't know, everyone moves around and walks around, talks like very optimistically. If you pay attention, some people go, I don't even know. I don't even know what the game did. You know, who won? But it's a pretty cool thing when a lot of people get together and actually there's a victory and there's a conference tough this year. So, one -on -one and go beat up Washington and then you got a big one against Miami. Yeah, oh yeah, they're a scary team. A lot of offensive power over there in Miami. So, Mike, first I need to make a correction. I mentioned on our morning Mike's episode yesterday that Philadelphia was looking at government -controlled grocery stores. I was wrong and I think it's important that we confess our sins. Fact checkers. Fact checkers. It was actually Chicago, Mike, another wonderfully run liberal Democrat city in a very wonderful Democrat -led and controlled state called Illinois. Well, Illinois, Mike, just so you know, is now also what I'll call a no cash bail required state. And this was pushed by, you'd guess it, Illinois Democrats. The idea here is judges can now determine whether individuals accused of a specific set of felonies or violent misdemeanors pose a risk to another individual or to the community at large. So, you know, once again we need to go to bat for these people that are alleged criminals. And forget about the victims, Mike, because the victims, you're victimized, allegedly, and you better seek some help, seek some safety, because these folks might not be held. They might not even have to produce bail to be held. Is it getting, I mean, is this just absolutely absurdity? Like some violent crimes, Mike, violent crimes, they might not have to post a bail. They could just basically be let out. And as long as you come back within 48 hours for your hearing, you know, then we'll deal with it. As long as you come back to court in 48 hours. You know, so, you know, we laughed yesterday because you realized right after morning, Mike, that you put in Philadelphia instead of Chicago. But it was weighing on my Christian mind. I know, I'm thinking of the Catholic school nuns and priests that I grew up with, you know, in education. I'm thinking, oh my gosh, I have to get back on the air. I have to redeem myself. And I'm sure we'll fact -check you on The Morning Show again tomorrow, too. So we'll get a double dose of it. But what I will say is you put in Philadelphia instead of Chicago, but just insert Democrat City here. So if you want to use L .A., if you want to use Buffalo, Rochester, New York City, like that's how bad it is. You screw these things up, Mike, because all of these places are the same. They really are. They are. They should be treated the same, too, because they do the same things. This government controlled grocery store thing, though, if we could just go back. Oh, yeah, yeah, we have to do that. That is as ridiculous as anything I've ever heard. A government controlled grocery store. The government can't control health care. They can't control anything. You know, F -35 planes that just go missing and or the budget or you name it. Right. Right. Now they're going to be controlling grocery stores in that area. Why? Not because they need to in terms of, you know, like every grocery store is out of business, but because grocery stores have said, I don't want to be there because that place is a hole. Right. That's exactly right. And that's that's really the absurdity of it and the humor in it. So this is this is from Amaya Powar, senior adviser at Economic Security Project. This is about that. The Chicago run city owned grocery stores. The city of Chicago is reimagining the role of government. Mike, stop, stop for a second. Yeah, let's not let's not do that and say we did. Let's never reimagine the role of government it's unless closing government down and reducing the size of it. I want to know who first imagine grocery stores run by the city, by the government, and now who's reimagining. So it was an imagination. Let's leave it in imagination. Let's not make it reality. So this was the idea though. What role can government play in our lives by exploring a public option for grocery stores? Bad idea. Bad idea. Via a municipally owned, municipally owned, Mike, who owns municipal taxpayers, right? Yeah. So municipally owned grocery store and market. Not dissimilar, Mike. So, so if you were thinking this is maybe going the wrong direction. Oh no, no, no. Think like this. Not dissimilar from the way a library or the postal service operates.

"Some of this stuff, like I'm almost speechless. Like I can't just keep yelling about it anymore. And it's that feeling of like, oh God, here we go again. Right. But like, that's what it feels like. It's just a never ending cycle of like disappointment because it's, and again, like it's the simple, like one plus one equals two. Welcome to another Financial Guys podcast. I'm Mike Hayflick along with Mike Speraza. We are actually recording on September 11th. So Mike, we're going to start a little bit with September 11th. We're going to end with Buffalo Bills talk because tonight, Monday night football in New Jersey to play the New York Jets. I always thought that was fun. Yeah. We decided to record this morning in case we have a couple too many pops tonight and we don't want to get in at seven 30, eight o 'clock in the morning. So that's the reason for this one. Hopefully out of celebration, let's not even talk about the other reason we might have a couple more than usual. That's right. That's right. Mike, so September 11th, 22 years ago, since the Twin Towers fell, America attacked. Couldn't stop thinking this past weekend about how united we became after that attack, yet how divided we are right now under this current administration. First, where were you on the day, September 11th? I was, I believe in third grade and I was in school on Grand Island at the time. I remember, not very much, but I do remember the school, of course, and I'm sure your kids, Mike, probably dealt with this if they were in school. Everything was shut down and you had to have your parents come pick you up. They wouldn't bus kids home. I just remember utter chaos, really, is what I remember about it. And it's something I feel like we may never feel again, hopefully, right? Knock on wood, we never feel that again. But it was, and days after it, because we had, I think, a day or two of school off after that, because I believe it was a Tuesday, and it was just crazy watching that unfold on TV. And again, I was a young kid, so I didn't really understand the moment that it was, but it was wild to watch on TV. You see people jumping, you see planes continuing to hit. I mean, it was craziness. Couldn't make sense of it. I remember, so I was a career changer a few times, and that was in the midst of a career change for me to go into teaching. And I was just about to start my fall, which would have been basically my last of three semesters to get another master's in this time in education. And on 9 -11, I had gotten invited to an interview to a nice little Catholic school out in Alma because they needed a math teacher. So, and I got this tip by a Canisius College professor. So I said, hmm, I remember calling my wife, in fact, a few days prior to that, saying, hey, they need a math teacher. And she kind of eyes me up and down, and you know my wife, she's like, hmm. Yeah, you could probably do that. I could help you with the lesson plans and so on. So anyway, I go for the interview on 9 -11, and it's like 7 .30 or so in the morning, and I ended up getting that position. So I went home, and it was funny because Mikayla, my older daughter, was actually only two and a half, just going on, or no, she had just turned three years old. And Maddie, my youngest, was like eight weeks old. And I'm with my father -in -law, who has now passed, rest his soul, wonderful man, Al. He was with the baby and with Mikayla. And I remember saying, hey, yeah, turns out I'm gonna go out and work as a math teacher out in Alma while I'm in school for this last semester. I'll go to classes at night. You know, and we just chatted a little. I walked into the family room, and I see the TV, and I'm like, hmm, plane hits tower. And I'm like, that's crazy. And of course, right away, I think, private plane. You just, you know, small private plane. You hear of these accidents, you know, an engine failure, whatever it was.
Bills safety Damar Hamlin eases back into practice 5 months since near-death experience
"Buffalo Bills safety damar Hamlin began easing his way back into football during the team's voluntary mini camp on Tuesday, some 5 months after having a near death experience on the field. Buffalo coach Sean McDermott says the team is taking things slowly. He has not been practicing, we're just going to continue to take it one day at a time. And just support them every way possible. Hamlin participated in individual drills and the stretching portions to open an end practice in taking the next steps towards resuming his football career. I'm get cool.
NFL season kicks off with Super Bowl champion Chiefs hosting Lions; Rodgers on MNF
"Patrick Mahomes and the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will kick off the 2023 season against the upstart Detroit Lions in a matchup of high powered offenses. Coming off their second championship in four seasons, the chiefs will host the Lions on September 7th on Thursday Night Football. The Lions finished 9 and 8 last season after a one in 6 start and knocked Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers out of the playoffs with a 2016 victory at Lambeau Field in the final regular season game. Meanwhile, Rogers will make his New York Jets debut on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills. I'm geffen cool bar.
AP Sports SummaryBrief at 7:19 p.m. EDT
"Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars will become the first NFL team to play two international games in the same season when they spend back to back weeks in London this year. The Jaguars will host the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium on October 1st and visit the Buffalo Bills at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 8th. The Jaguars were set to play two designated home games in London in 2020, but the pandemic canceled those plans. The NFL also announced dates for three other international games and released the opponents for a few other games, including the first Black Friday matchup. I'm geffen coolbaugh.
Damar Hamlin cleared to play, 4 months after cardiac arrest
"Buffalo Bill safety damar Hamlin has been fully cleared to resume playing and is attending the team's voluntary workout program. It's the latest and biggest steps in his remarkable recovery, some four months after going into cardiac arrest and having to be resuscitated on the field during a game at Cincinnati. Bill's general manager Brandon bean said the clearance came after Hamlin met with a third and final specialist last Friday, with all three being an agreement that Hamlin can resume playing without any fear of setbacks or complications. The 25 year old and former 6th round pick is set to enter his third NFL season. I'm guessing cool law
Actor Dean Cain Describes Meeting and Dating Brook Shields
"When you were in college, you were still really into sports, you weren't athlete, you mentioned even after college, how you played for the Buffalo Bills. How did you get connected with Brooke Shields in college? How did you ask her out? I heard you guys dated. So did you kind of see her and think, you know what? I think I'm gonna go chat with her or did you kind of already know you're both a Hollywood or LA connection? No, I don't think that was part of it. For me, just having that knowing that world, it wasn't something that was unfamiliar to me. But she was a year ahead of me. And we ended up having a class together. My sophomore year, religion, two 11. Malcolm diamond, the professor, and I remember I just was waiting for class. It's like, you know, wait for a class to get out. and we were in this big hallway. Staircase kind of going up. And I looked up and she looked at me at the same time, I looked at her and kind of just saw each other, it's mild. That was it. And then we just started chatting here and there. And I really, there's a lot of baggage that would go with dating someone that famous. Even at Princeton, even though Princeton, a lot of the kids were like, oh, we're so cool. We're going to pretend like we don't care that she is who she is. Oh, who cares? And then there was a lot of that stuff kind of going on, but I didn't think twice. I was an athlete and just doing my thing. And then we sort of met. And after we dated a little of my sophomore year, I literally said there's no way. I'm going to ever date this woman. It's just too much stuff. What a pain in the tail. No possible way. And then, of course, my junior year in senior year was still dating there. But that happens. Things change. Things change, yeah. Yeah. Well, I saw that reason. So that's how I developed a really normal boy meets girl girl meets boy in the hallway outside of class.
Dean Cain on His Journey From Trailer Park to Princeton to Hollywood
"So dean, your life has been so fascinating. So I wanted to ask you a little bit about just kind of your journey before we talk about more of the news stuff. I saw that you spent some of your childhood in Michigan and then in California. And in high school, when you were in Santa Monica, you were excelling in sports, and you even played some baseball with Charlie Sheen and Rob Lowe. Is that correct? And what was that like? It's mostly correct. I grew up, so I grew up in I was born in Michigan, but I moved to California when I was three. My mom up and took off with her two kids. Her first husband was my biological father. It was not an ideal husband, was philandering and so she left and came out to LA to be an actress with two kids to the Asian kids. And we looked more on my given name as Tanaka. So she came out here with us too, and met and fell in love with my dad. Who she married a year later. And then through a really terrible story actually, a woman was raped and I believe killed in an apartment next to us or right near us. And then the next day myself and a couple other guys, my brother and another couple kids were out playing cops and robbers as they used to back in the day. And I was the youngest and so I wasn't able to have I didn't get to a gun. So I went looking for something and I found the real gun and it was apparently the weapon that was used and that day my dad borrowed, I don't ten, $12,000 from his parents in South Dakota and moved us to a trailer park in Malibu. And I grew up in a trailer park in Malibu, which sounds, you know, like trailer park. Yeah, but it was in Malibu. So we'd spend our days outside all day long on the beach, running around, and I grew up with kids like Sean Penn, Chris Penn Rob Lowe, Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, all those kids were just, we were all just part of this one little Malibu group. I guess all our parents were involved in the business, not all of them, but in some way or another. And so through this weird happenstance, those kids all ended up being actors. Now I played baseball Charlie for a long time. Rob, rob was never the great athlete. Rob even back in the elementary school was just all the girls loved him and he's so pretty. And he loved the girls back. So that was the that was the skinny and rob, so to speak. Charlie very good baseball player. Played on teams with him forever. And then went to high school, Santa Monica high school. And I was a good athlete student. It worked out real well for me. A lot of the kids are madly when they got to Santa Monica worked able to compete at that level, unfortunately. So a lot of the kids stopped playing sports, Charlie continued to play for a while. I don't even know what he did to seeing it if he played a scene here or not. And then I was lucky enough to with my grades and thank you to get the president of the university, had a wonderful career at Princeton. Grew up a lot turned into him and went from a boy to a man there and played very well. I played football. I mean, football ran track and I played volleyball. And then I got a chance to play for the Buffalo Bills afterward, which was great. And got hurt right away. And then it's been acting and directing and filmmaking ever since.
Connecting 'The Silence of the Lambs' to the Modern Liberal
"As Silence of the Lambs that movie this is an amazing scene in there Anthony Hopkins plays Hannibal lecter the serial killer right He's talking to Jodie Foster the FBI agent Many of you have seen it And Jodie Foster's investigating another serial killer Buffalo Bill and she can't seem to figure out or get to the crux of what's motivating Buffalo Bill to kill these young women And Anthony Hopkins who was a killer himself but is a very brilliant psychiatrist too Play an elector part He keeps telling her no no Clarice every time she and finally they get to the point he covets He covets when he can't be That's why he wants to be a woman so he covets I always love that scene And strangely every time I get into some dispute about liberalism I always think of that scene Not because Anthony Hopkins or Jodie Foster probably both liberals himself But because when you get to the essence of what the modern liberal is their quest for tyranny totalitarianism and censorship all of this stuff makes sense and it all falls into place Why would you want an open border Because you've told us why you want an open border They literally wrote an op-ed at the Wall Street at The New York Times excuse me a liberal paper About demographic destiny called we can replace them They talked about it all the time This is their thing Just look that up Don't take my word for it Then of course when that results in a backlash and some people take it to mean something it does or doesn't mean they try to blame their theory on conservatives It's the weirdest thing you've ever seen
Bills' Hamlin: Didn't mean to offend with jacket
"Buffalo Bill safety to mar hamlins found himself wrapped up in controversy over a jacket. He wore to the Super Bowl. Less than two months after his amazing resuscitation on the field. Demar Hamlin is apologizing to anyone offended by a jacket he wore. Decorated with an abstract depiction of the face of Jesus. Hamlin posted on Twitter it was never his intention to hurt or disrespect anyone, adding his beliefs and relationship with God is not tied to symbolic images. The second year player during the Super Bowl was wearing a blue Kanye West, eternal saint varsity jacket with a depiction of Jesus on the front and back with a cross and
Steve Deace: Why Are More Young People Dying?
"Player for the Buffalo Bills to mar Hamlin tragically drops on the field nearly dies in critical condition now young as far as we know relatively healthy guy early 20s right When I found so disturbing was there seemed to be some potential medical explanations including this commotio Cordis I'm not a doctor I don't have the facts But there's been a lot of this stuff about young healthy people you know quote dying suddenly What I find so disturbing is immediately there was one narrative and that was it And if you dare ask a single question you were to be silenced immediately But my question to you is that I'm used to that My question to you is do they really believe this is effective If they just would have said like hey we don't know what happened We've seen a lot of this lately We're going to wait for the facts to come out I think people like you and I would be like wow Cool A dialog on something for once That's not what they did And the minute they tell guys like you and me to shut up it makes me think that they're hiding something even though they may not be It's not helping is my point Correct I mean one of the bravest men of the last couple of years is doctor Peter McCulloch He might be the most decorated cardiologist in American history And American history started multiple medical journals he just published a paper In PubMed And what it shows is from the previous 36 year period Over the last two years there has been a 3586% increase in cardiac events with youth athletes that led to death 3586 3586% increase It's incredible I was looking at a dataset this morning that is showing we're looking at a cardiac level that's a 15 sigma event
An Update on Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills
"Let me start with an update on the condition of the Buffalo Bill safety demar Hamlin. According to the bills, he is still under sedation and critical condition, his heart stopped after a hit last night, and they revived him on the field, but he is sedated in a Cincinnati hospital forget the anti vaxxers who flooded the web last night and blamed really not a REIT. It's finest. Commodity Cordis is likely, according to medical experts, it's a blow to the heart. In 58% of patients, they recover, will pray for young mister Hamlin. No, the update on marble actor, Jeremy Renner, who was hurt when his snow machine tipped on him, his Reno, Nevada, retreat, no word beyond he is also in critical condition.
Stephen A. Smith: Philadelphia Eagles May Win It All
"Then same with sports except for the Dallas Cowboys you call them as you see them And look I'm an eagles guys you know I'm a Philly guy So that matter to me But you're like persona Well that's actually not true I was just hanging out with Jerry Jones on his private helicopter I mean he's going to not get along just great I've been invited to the yacht the whole bit I joke around with him all the time It's been damn palace cowboy fans They get on my last nurse They can go one in 15 months And the season on January 5th at 7 o'clock with a one in 15 season and by 7 15 7 30 this a you know we gonna win the Super Bowl next year right They just get on my nerves They get on my nerves That's all How about our Philly fans Well I love the Philadelphia Eagles fans That's just me I can tell you right now I think they're the best team in the national football conference And I think that pretty damn good I think Jalen hurts is an MVP candidate and I think they got a shot to win it all I really do Well that quarterback's really stepped up hasn't he He special I mean he has stepped up his game He really worked on his game in the off season He's gotten considerably better and I think that he's a viable MVP candidate right now especially since Lamar Jackson just lost his game this past Sunday to the Buffalo Bills and buffalo had lost the day before the week before the Miami I definitely think that Jalen hurts has an opportunity to catch league as you feel

"Protection value preservation and a durable rating ask your broker about bam and sure municipal bonds Now we are lucky enough to have Joey sack in the studio editor of the Bloomberg brief Wait did you use Taylor Did you use to work for Joe Joe hired me The only reason I'm here is Joe marsak I tell this story a lot but well Taylor's heard it a lot But I remember one morning about 6 or 7 years ago I was driving in it's four o'clock and I hear young Taylor Riggs on the radio talking about a Puerto Rico muni story And I thought it was so great that I parked my car and ran up here and confronted her as she walked out of the radio studio I mentioned something about the story and she said do you doubt my reporting As if I was criticizing her I was just so impressed but the fiery tailor rigs She is fiery But that's what you have to be to be a good reporter I think You know you've got to be skeptical You've got to be questioning You've got to be pushing back a little bit and she does all those things Joe talk to us about your Buffalo Bill's story What's the stadium deal here What can we get What can we get if we want to buy in Man this is just a fun story People have been waiting for this consultant's report On a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills for I want to say much of this year And it's going to be a feature in the negotiations between Erie county the state and the team probably buffalo as well And it was it said that the new stadium they gave they provided a few options And the consultants were an engineering firm Provided a few options and they said well if you renovate it's going to cost about 850 million And a new stadium will run you between 1.2 billion and 2.4 billion Something like that And it's just wow Prices of stadiums are through the roof But you know what's the I think the bottom line here is that New York taxpayers are going to be putting up a new stadium in Buffalo a couple of years What do we know about the history of these stadiums where for it to pay off you need the parking the tourism ticket sales right And there is a fine calculation that goes in to determine if this will pay its pay for itself or not The argument is that a loser for taxpayers right It's a giveaway to these billionaire sports team owners The most amazing thing in this report I thought was they said what is the financial payback for the county the city of the state from the state in being there right The Buffalo Bills being there And it shows 27 million I said 27 million What That's almost chump change right Can you imagine 20 And I just said we've had so many studies over the last couple of years from various academics saying hey you know these things really are not economic engines And this is really the case 27 million And they have another calculation there just no that's my problem It's even beyond the economics There's something to be said for having a great stadium I will never forget when I was a kid and my mom took me to my first Yankees game We were not wealthy you know but we could afford tickets and it was you know life-changing experience for me It was I get goosebumps just thinking about it The problem is with a lot of these big new stadiums no kid who isn't a millionaire can afford to get in right I mean who's going to the Meadowlands How much is a ticket cost to a giants game I don't know how much to take it cost to a bills game probably far less But the problem is the community I think can't always enjoy these things either You know most of these stadiums and to tell us point about you know how do you pay back the bonds Most of the stadiums don't rely strictly on the revenue coming in from ticket sales You have a whole raft of things You have the naming rights They got to get rid of those You got luxury sweets The special seats like you talk about you know that certainly a Yankee Stadium you can't get up front anymore for less than $300 And you have sales taxes throughout the cities sometimes hotel taxes so you got so much stuff in there to make sure that you're going to repay those bonds You know Las Vegas for example on their stadium they have one of the I think there's a 150,000 hotel rooms in Las Vegas Now right now they're not all occupied But in the normal course of events they are and that helps to go pay off their stadium Only have about 30 seconds left Give us a sentiment check We've talked a lot on TV We've been joked about the American Dream mall that stadiums right in this reopening And the muni bonds that are backing these things that are triggered by that reopening Where's the sentiment on the market about how well these can do now Well I'll tell you something The high yield muni market people continue to pour money in It's a money is coming in over the gunwales So obviously they are most buyers are looking ahead and saying I'd say if I can get 6 or 7% I am in Do.
Miami Dolphins WR Will Fuller to Miss Buffalo Bills Game With Personal Issue
"Breaking news out of miami gardens. The miami dolphins will be without wide receiver willful or for sunday's matchup versus the buffalo bills. The team is calling it. A personal issue and brian flora's even when as far to say there was a possibility for may not suit up the rest of the season. Obviously a lot of unknowns. But what were your thoughts. Jake when you first heard this friday afternoon. Josh first and foremost i mean the seed blake first weekend forever where the dolphins were gonna have a completely clean injury report willful or was the only one who wasn't listed as a full participant in practice on both thursday and friday. But just i do have to say. I think we're kind of over-reacting about this. A little bit will fuller was in the building wednesday. I believe he was actually in the building thursday as well. I'm concerned for some things are bigger than football. I don't necessarily know. I mean ryan floors declined to say preston. Williams who is fully active is going to be playing on sunday. So i think that's more displays being bryant floors as much as odd. This is something that's gonna completely ruin season. I hope that isn't the case. I hope everything is all right for him and you know. We can't really speculate on too much by terms of what's happening on the field. It's gotta be a little disappointing to not see him out
Bills' Beasley Quarantined After Exposure
"Music. Margie Szaroleta, a source tells the AP Buffalo Bills receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis must spend at least five days away from the team facility after having close contact with the trainer who tested positive for the coronavirus. It means they will miss the bills last preseason games Saturday. Both

"Hello and welcome back to none. Other than the gs. Mc football podcast. Welcome back from commercial break. I am andrew dessino now. We had a very exciting show. Thus far we really have we of course talked about julio jones and him wine a big arm quarterback that can deliver the football deep. We event had an aaron rodgers. Update this has become the julio and erin show more so than the gmc football podcast. But that's neither here nor there we then spoke about afc teams that. Have the best shot of knocking out the chiefs in either preventing them from going to the afc championship game or to knock them out from being afc champions in general and we came up with. It's the buffalo bills more than anyone else. Buffalo bills have the quarterback that can do with josh allen. He is the best bill player of the last. A long longtime seriously could have won. Mvp if it weren't for aaron rodgers throwing forty eight touchdowns or whatever was besides that you know. Think about what the chiefs have. They have their guy. Mahomes tyreek hill travis. Kelsey buffalo has their guy josh allen. Stefan digs cole beasley. You don't think about those trios and then on defense. Yeah the bills yacht poi- and hide and trae white chiefs. Have you know tire and matthew. They have chris jones frank clark. So they have core pieces on both sides of the football. Both of them do so. They're similar in that respect. And if you think about a new young rivalry coming up that is one that we should be looking forward to. So that's why. I picked the bills the closest team to be able to compete with the chiefs. And that's why they're regular season matchup. This year's going to be so big as right now. The chiefs are up to now in that young rivalry bills need to get.

"Or at least personnel wise. Excuse me for the buffalo bills. Cincinnati bengals joe burrow. You know i. I think there's a lot still improving the joe burrow. But like i said i do think the bengals will be a lot better this year with a full Game log of joe burrow plane. But i don't think they're realistic. Cleveland browns bakers a big armed quarterback baker can deliver the deep ball. That could be a group to watch out for as wealth. Cleveland browns denver broncos with drew lock. Teddy bridgewater. i'm gonna say no houston texans. If just shawn watson is there that i could say yes. How about that for deondraye hopkins replacement two years later. I think that could work out fantastically indianapolis not much carson wentz I don't think so although people are saying. Perhaps he could go to indianapolis under julio's criteria. I'd pass jacksonville. Trevor lawrence again. I'm going to stay away from the rookies here. I don't think he would go there in the later stages of his career in risk it with a rookie. Although prove me wrong. Kansas city of course is a culprit is always to get offense of weapons of big armed quarterback that can deliver the deep ball. Mahomes is right there with the best right there with the best and he could be a fill in for sammy. Watkins and slide in right behind hill and hardman. The raiders car no car is a high percentage thrower and does not really risk it For the biscuit in lack of a better term the chargers just in harbor. This could be really interesting. Big armed quarterback and delivered the deep ball. Justin hubbard's got a big arm. I could easily see that happening in loss. On harris where the chargers and keenan allen could be turned up and especially you just lost hunter renfrow. You need offensive. Weapons chargers could be a culprit for who you now the dolphins. They had. <Speech_Male> And i just got <Speech_Male> to see evans <Silence> strut. <Speech_Male> The middle of the field <Speech_Male> evans is <Speech_Male> a great <Speech_Male> guy. And right after <Speech_Male> evans on my list. I have <Silence> antonio brown <Speech_Male> now <Speech_Male> antonio brown maybe <Speech_Male> a few years ago would <Speech_Male> be number one on my list <Silence> seriously. <Silence> <hes> <Silence> <Speech_Music_Male> he <Silence> would be <Speech_Music_Male> but <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Music_Male> right now he is <Speech_Music_Male> number eight <Silence> on my list <Silence> <Speech_Music_Male> and after <Speech_Male> missing nearly <Silence> two years. <Speech_Male> He earned <Speech_Male> eighty two point. Six <Silence> receiving grade <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> had <SpeakerChange> a fantastic <Silence> <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> last eight <Speech_Male> games and playoff <Speech_Male> run. <Speech_Male> He's a guy <Speech_Male> that tom brady likes. <Speech_Male> Throw to and. <Speech_Male> This is why i say this <Speech_Male> in his <Speech_Male> prime there'd be no receiver. <Speech_Male> I'd want more than antonio <Speech_Music_Male> brown. Because <Speech_Male> of what he can do on the inside <Speech_Male> his <Speech_Male> precise right route <Speech_Male> running and what he <Silence> can do on the outside as well. <Silence> <Silence> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Music_Male> Brown <Speech_Music_Male> is a catch machine. <Speech_Music_Male> <Silence> He really is <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> number nine on my <Speech_Male> list. I have allen robinson <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> partially why have <Silence> allen robinson on. My list <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> is <Speech_Male> because of <Speech_Male> the quarterback that <Silence> he's played with as <Speech_Male> well <Speech_Music_Male> <SpeakerChange> You know <Silence> playing with <Silence> <Speech_Male> mitchell trubisky. <Speech_Male> Nick <Speech_Male> foles <SpeakerChange> is not <Speech_Male> an easy <Silence> task <Speech_Male> but <Silence> he did it <Speech_Music_Male> and <Speech_Male> he continues <Silence> you know he <Speech_Music_Male> He's <Speech_Male> with a poor <Speech_Male> quarterback <Speech_Male> one of the better <Speech_Male> receivers <Silence> in the league. <Speech_Male> He had <Silence> one percent drop <Speech_Male> rate <Speech_Male> on <SpeakerChange> one hundred plus <Speech_Male> targets. That is very <Silence> impressive. <Speech_Male> And he has <Silence> to deal <SpeakerChange> with <Speech_Music_Male> poor <Speech_Male> throws <Speech_Male> as well allen. <Speech_Male> Robinson is <Speech_Male> next on my list <Speech_Male> after <Speech_Male> robinson. <SpeakerChange> I have <Speech_Male> the man of the hour. And <Silence> that's julio jones. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Julio although <Speech_Male> at <Speech_Male> advanced age <Speech_Male> and the injuries that <Silence> he sustained <Speech_Male> we <Speech_Male> haven't gotten a full. <Speech_Male> Julio jones experience <Silence> twenty twenty <Speech_Male> but <Speech_Male> still julio jones's <Speech_Male> someone that you have <Speech_Male> to dictate coverage <Speech_Male> to a you have <Silence> to be concerned about. <Silence> <Speech_Male> And we'll <Speech_Male> see this year if he changes <Speech_Male> teams in <Speech_Male> all likelihood <Silence> is that he will. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> What is the deal <Speech_Male> with. <Speech_Male> Julio <SpeakerChange> jones <Speech_Male> and let's <Speech_Music_Male> say he has another guy next <Speech_Music_Male> to him <Speech_Male> another <Speech_Male> star wide receiver <Speech_Male> may be like davante <Speech_Male> adams. Maybe <Speech_Male> we'll see the best. Julio <Speech_Male> jones yet <Silence> a resurgence of him <Speech_Male> but <Speech_Male> those are my top <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> receivers in <Speech_Male> the game again <Speech_Male> to summarize them. I have <Speech_Male> won. Stefan <Silence> digs <Speech_Male> to <Speech_Male> tyreek hill. <Speech_Male> Three d andre hopkins <Speech_Male> for <Speech_Male> aj brown five <Speech_Male> decay. Mike <Speech_Male> evans eight antonio <Speech_Male> brown nine <Speech_Male> allen robinson <SpeakerChange> and ten <Silence> julio jones <Speech_Male> and like <Speech_Male> i said <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> in their <Speech_Male> prime antonio <Speech_Male> brown no other receiver <Silence> i'd rather have <Speech_Male> because <Speech_Male> of his versatility <Speech_Male> route running speed <Silence> and quickness. <Speech_Male> All right <Speech_Male> that's it for us today <Speech_Male> on the. "The way you have to play the coverage. So he's number two number. Three guy is deondraye hopkins. Now hopkins is a guy who is now done it with two teams and you know he's been playing you don't realize this but he's been playing since twenty thirteen which is pretty crazy. And you know since. Twenty cents to shawn watson played for houston in two thousand. Seventeen hopkins has been an all pro three years. Twenty seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty twenty. He was not an all pro that went to digs but still over a hundred catches his last three years. He's putting up nearly fifteen hundred yards. And although he switched quarterbacks the last year he did not miss a beat with cuyler murray and another. That was one impressive feat. That i gave credit to stefan digs for you change quarterbacks. And you don't miss. A beat hopkins changed quarterbacks. Just like digs did and a covid season with limited off season limited. Time to work with your guy. A second year quarterback that is in cuyler murray and you still tear up the league and speaking of buffalo bills as well think about what he did to the buffalo bills on that hell murray. You have to almost three guys right there in coverage to stop it and hopkins has some of the best hands in the league and just literally goes up snags it and snatches victory out of the jaws of defeat from the bills crazy. That is something you can't teach. You can teach how to become a better route runner. I don't think you can teach how to go up and just.

"To look out for her. So my ideal receiver tough. It really is tough because receivers. They play different. It's not like you know. There's there's probably i'd say you know one running back position right but if you think about receiver there there are slot guys in. There are outside guys and in general you know the outside guys are the ones who get the big bucks. Put up the numbers. They often get the touchdowns but inside guys like a julian. Edelman danny amendola beasley. Those guys are just as valuable especially in you. Know tight situations third-down red zone look for them because they have a. They have a keen knack of of being able. Just get open so my ideal you know. Wide receiver again. I think it comes down to versatility. I don't want a guy that purely can be in the slot or just purely run outside if you if you have now. I know this is asking for a lot but as quick as your fast sometimes you look at the inside guys and you're like wow there quicker than they are fast. Sometimes you look at the outside guys and you say well. Caffeine only run in a straight line and he can't do the three cone drill at a very proficient rate. So i'd want somewhere in between there now taking a look at you. Know some the wide receivers. I already mentioned you know a recently retired. Julian edelman as much as everyone thinks he's a slot guy he can play on the outside. Maybe not as well as he did on the inside but he can more so than west welker did and so. I think that's valuable type of receiver but let's first start with number one here and kind of just described them as we go. My number one wide receiver in the nfl is the man who led the nfl in both receptions and yards in that stefan takes now defined digs. Interestingly enough yet over fifteen hundred yards and one hundred and twenty seven grabs that led the league however one thing that starkly starkly for Is pointed out to me. Is the number of first two thousand nineteen. He only had sixty three grabs. And so the first down receptions number is not as useful however go back to twenty eighteen. He had one hundred and two grabs. Okay so twenty. Five less and he had forty nine first downs. Stefan digs is a first down machine. He has far surpassed anything else he has done in his career. In terms of statistics is yards per game was at ninety five point nine. His next closest was seventy five point three now his yards per reception did go down in. This could be this good and the reason this is good is because one thing that josh allen learn to do last year was not just huckabee. Deep was to it.

"For the patriots over the course of those three years. It was mainly manning right. Let's go back to two thousand eleven. They beat flacco in the afc championship. Game then the next year they lost flacco in the afc championship game. So for two years in a row was flacco. They had to get by then the following year. It was manning the they they they lost to right so there's payton than it was andrew. Lock who they be than. It was manning who they lost to then. It was big ben who they be then. It was bortles who they beat then. Who's mahomes who they beat. So the two most common ones were flacco and manning and of course after twenty twelve season. Flacco was golf. The face of the earth and manning retired after twenty fifteen. Big ben was there once against them. Blake bortles isn't i'm not going to be mean to blake bortles but we'll just leave him out of this conversation that we're not mean to blake. Bortles van patrick mahomes of course in their most recent afc championship game. So it's not like they had a clear rival who they're facing year after year after year after you. No one thought that he was going to be lucky and it could have been locked right. But then he got demolished forty five to seven and then retired a few years later because he just got beaten up so many times. You know an andrew luck could have been guida start facing every year or brady remained in new england. It could have been mahomes versus. Brady like every c. championship game. But it's not. He left so the reason. New england was able to go to in my point. Here you'll see a second. The reason they were able to go to eight straight conference championship games is because there is really no one to content. And i hate to say this. Yes they're very very good teams every single.

Former Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky Signs One-Year Deal With Bills
"Announced earlier today former bears quarterback mitch trubisky signing a one year deal with the buffalo bills presumably to backup josh allen. There it is a two and a half million dollar deal with some incentives tied into it. That's injury presumably would be the other scenario. He gets beat out for the backup and he's the third. Is that one. maybe it gets cut. It's a there's a chance he'll be the backup. Let me ask you this question though. Because it's easy and it's if we're making fun of mitchell way or mitchell and that's worthy of being made fun of i think but not this. He's okay right you know. He's making more than a lot of hardworking people. You know literally do in a lifetime in this bad year but they are in the end of these players these reaching the pinnacle of their profession. And it's a billion dollar profession. They make money. They're supposed to make. I mean to me. The beauty of the nfl's rev share agreement. Is they're saying okay. The players contribute fifty percent the infrastructure. The all legacy to have the trademarks team. You know however you want to think about that fifty percent we take the money in. We divvied up and go. I mean to me that means that you can't even debate if collectively that you were jones but collectively with the players deserve their millions and millions and billions ultimately. They do that said we can. Because they're making so much money. We can have some fun with it. But i gotta be honest. I think that trubisky getting resigned by the bears was closer than we thought. Because i would make the following case. Let me ask you joan. What you would have made the odds. I don't we didn't do it at the time but right when this season let's say the regular season ended and those that remember obviously foles got her trubisky came back in play statistically significantly. Better at that point. I would have guessed about thirty percent chance. The trubisky would've had been rinse we signed in some significant way. Not like a five hundred million dollar deal but a real deal. I think the odds weren't worse than thirty percent. What would you have guessed. The is debate. I yeah i would have said probably about the same because that was a lot of the discussions i know in and around chicago that day. Did he play himself back into consideration for the twenty twenty one quarterback job and when i see him getting beat out for the job. I don't mean that. As a slight m i actually think. He's a much better quarterback than people give him credit for. I think for that kind of money if somebody comes in and outplays him buffalo's not gonna be tied to that contract like if he would have signed for seven or eight million

Inside The Russell Wilson-Seahawks Rift
"Years russell. Wilson has been wanting to throw the ball more and at the start of this year. It finally happened russell. Wilson was not good in the first half of the twenty twenty season. He was excellent deep cap touchdown. Seattle you run down there and set in his answer. Any better than that was fourth in yards per attempt. Weeks one through nine i. In passing. touchdown percentage was second in passer rating. Wilson keeps as default talk. He was legit. The best player in the league madden gave him a ninety nine overall rating during the season because he was cooking notion as he throws an accident. Edi feeds defensive player of the years like russell. Lula's legitimately the best guy in football games of the season then week nine arrived and they had this game against the buffalo bills that you recently wrote about. Can you tell us what happened in that game. And afterwards what happened is russell had to cook in the kitchen. Just kind of just caught on. Fire his paycheck wine with a sack at a takeaway from russell wilson. I actually watched that game with a former cr defensive and cliff april and teased talking me through it. And he's like russ's off he's trying to do too much and i think turned it over like four times. He threw a pick on the goal. Line throws for the jordan with tyco. I think that really turned the tables for the whole team. After that loss where they gave up forty four points and turned it over a bazillion times and got embarrassed in buffalo. Well what i would tell you that. I don't recognize that game. We haven't seen the look like that and it's a game that i don't have any place in my brain for. He told us he didn't even have any space in his brain for that game. That's very important subjects right like the fact that he considered that not seahawks. Football was influential the rest of the year. Well the following week against the rams things. I guess only got worse. Wilson throws and the other one four darius williams second game. I know that there are better days ahead. I'll use a baseball now but sometimes you go up to the plate you know and you don't have your way today mike. You and our colleagues. Mike sando jason jank's wrote about a meeting. That happened shortly after that loss to the rams can you take us inside that meeting room and just explain what went down russia's meeting with the coaches normal game planning type of meeting and he has suggestions he is giving input usually does and his suggestions just weren't dismissed. There were dismissed in a way that russell didn't feel appreciate it. And i think that is really important. I'm sure they disagree in every meeting ever but in this particular instance rust belt that he was not being appreciated so rushed stormed out was basically this idea that. How dare anyone in this building. Be dismissive of my ideas. I am of the quarterback was almost like kevin durant warriors when he was like no way up. I'm kevin durant russell wilson and he rustled perceives him to be someone who has succeeded. In spite of what's been around him not because of running for his life making the pro bowl with battle lines perceive that to be like the story of his career. And you get to week eleven. And it's like do. Just chill out. We got this no. You don't don't get it. I got it and that forced him out the door. Russell in the second half of the season was which is not himself like he was twenty eighth in yards per attempt in his final eight games he was sixteenth. In a touchdown percentage nineteenth in passer rating. These are bad numbers. These are not just like below average twenty nine yards per attempt man that was lower than the cincinnati bengals. Even when the circumstances are bad around russell he's been good enough to elevate situation still played inefficient level and twenty twenty was the first time it was like. Wow he's not able to elevate the lack of talent or execution of preparation around him and it produced like some of the worst numbers of his career certainly produced the worst playoff game of his career against the rams in the wild round sitting meeting big. Who's going into other sack four sacks two takeaways the interception return for the touchdown and floyd now all right. Let's fast forward a few weeks to the super bowl. The seahawks have been knocked out by the rams in the wildcard round and russell. Wilson is at super bowl. Fifty five in tampa bay sitting with none other than commissioner. Roger goodell mike. Tell us what you found in your reporting about russell. Wilson's experience at the super bowl. You know it's really interesting. Because i tweeted during the super bowl. That antonio brown caught a touchdown from tom brady in front of russell. Wilson there is the pass for the touchdown. What drive a super bowl. Winning drive that brady's only done throughout his whole career. I kind of just said it like star cast the as a joke. Not really thinking about how russell fell and then as our reporting i was like okay so i i was right like he is really upset. And it's so many factors. There is the fact that tom brady is in. The super bowl is the fact tom. Brady's they're playing pine. A good line is the fact that tom brady is playing in a system. That gives him some atonomy like got to pick players gronk. Antonio brown is the fact that mahomes is there again laying for again in a system that like essentially like his talents. The last time also played in the super bowl loss of tom brady seven years later prime many years. Tom brady's back. I suppose in a soup. Kitchen fuming so during the superbowl. He's texting his quarterback coach. And just close. Friend jake heaps. He's a local radio guy. Here jake to set it on the radio. He's talking about how russ was missed during the game texting him. They'll look the he had was in reflective of the text messages. I was receiving russell wilson. Just ultimately the overall sentiment was that he was mad that he was not lying in this thing and then russell spoke to the shortly after the game show. What's up with our line. You see that. Winning requires a good line and the gist of peace response. As far as i was told is about faith. And just you know we got this. And that just wasn't good enough for us

"There's a money line by that. And Freddie Coleman of Freddie and Fitz Simmons and ESPN radio. The ESPN happens is essential 80. There's definitely money lie. But it goes to a certain level. It goes to a certain point, especially the biggest city in the world that has been. Let's call it as it is. We're grown folks here. It's been a cess pool when it comes to Kobe 19. And everything that is affecting you upsetting everybody else and everywhere else. Build oblige. It took a lot of hits on politicians from the average Joe and Josephine. But at the same time you're going to make a decision like this. You can't just have a start, then a stop. Just go with it and hope that everything does not Set it back. That is going to be a setback. There's going to be that one person it that's where we are weak over 19. Not just in sports, but staying on the sports tip. There's always going to be that one and you have to hope that one does not affect others. Every athlete has gone through that, whether your professional athlete whether your professional coach, whether you're a college athlete, high school athlete, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. This is their way, In my opinion of trying not to accelerate. The new normal But at least you have to take the first step. They're willing to do that. He got started The Buffalo Bills. Buffalo Bill said. We're gonna last 7000 fans according to the guidelines that we have in front of us, and they had 7000 fans at both of their playoff games, and it sounded like a football game. It sounded exciting. It wasn't if it sounds like a glorified scrimmage. Glorified practice. There was an excitement to that, because for more than ever before, and I'm talking to you average fan out there, whether you got a lot of money or not. They have let it be known that they really want and need you. You do not have to worry about going forward of being disrespected or being treated as a second class citizen by the athletes can't speak for the owners. They made too much money for me to speak for them. But for the athletes because time and time again any time I talked to an athlete, what is it gonna be like when fans are allowed back? It's a sigh of relief thinking we can't wait to that day comes around. Especially everybody. Hope will be a lot safer than where we are now. That's why this should be a little bit more understanding why Mayor De Blasio and Governor Cuomo, New York are doing this starting on? 2030 February. The day I hope will happen in the NFL should have happened A long time ago when it comes to hiring a new coach is that's next. Thursday. Don't miss it with me. Green will be reunited and it feels so good.

"Just a second been. I apologize. I can't find the audio anywhere of my guarantee that the buffalo bills we're gonna win that game. For some reason. It's been lost forever. So it's weird. I've got it right here. Um, you really don't get on my phone? No way ahead. Coover. Mail it to me. Just as a precaution, Just in case you. Yeah. You know the system to delete that guarantee that the buffalo bills we're gonna beat the Kansas City Chiefs. I'm looking at the score here on this game. It's weird. It does not show buffalo having a higher score. Yeah, I know. It's so strange that Yahoo at messing up here what did I tell you? What I was feeling my oats there a little bit. I was rooting for what? My interests were more than anything. I did not want to see the can see Chiefs. Win that game, and I legitimately thought the Buffalo Bills were over all the better team. Josh Allen had a 58% completion rate, which is a little bit more like the Josh Allen We used to know in love. And he didn't look great the whole night he was missing high, which is also something we saw out here at the Senior Bowl a few years back, and so it's amazing. Still a spectacular year over overall, he patted some stats there towards the end, but I thought Josh Allen had had an off night in a game where he needed to really show up. They frustrated him after that, After they took that lead in the first quarter, Kansas City really started getting after, and they frustrated him. And that was it was a very evident and very clear. They weren't letting the vertical stuff developed down the field, and he was not patient enough and quick enough to take the underneath stuff. And Brian Table wasn't giving him any easy stuff. I thought some of the play calling there was those are they were having success running the ball because of the city's edge rushers. We're getting beyond the quarterback quick. And so I don't understand why there wasn't money draw calls. I understand why they weren't running the ball. Maura, I think there was ah, largely on the offensive coordinator in that game. Maybe maybe he had his eye on too many other jobs, head coaching interviews and things like that one. Keeping us on the ball. I don't know, but that was a problem for me. I will say this. I had a monster tease bet going ahead a parlay, plus 14.5 on both Tampa And in Buffalo and man, I was sweating it on. Then Buffalo came along and kicked that field goal for absolutely no reason and save our bacon. Yes, I thought of you As soon as I saw that I was like it's probably smiling because that will probably be the last score of the game and good for you. But know your 100%, right? I mean the play calling over all the championship weekend. I thought there was really Questionable calls. It seems like teams try to over think these things we talked a little bit about. The chief says. We were out at dinner last night, and we're talking about how there's a There's a little bit of it'll lure of the Chiefs. You know, like people go into this thing, saying that we have to. We have to move the ball. We have to score and they search of work outside of themselves a little bit. But then I also couple that with the fact that they settle for field goals when it was seem pretty damn obvious. You need to be trying for touchdowns. You need to be pushing the envelope a little bit. So you're right there. They were looking downfield, right? They were looking downfield for opportunities. One of the same time, then they get into a position Where really? You should be in four down territory because you know what your opponent is and you decide to settle for field goals. When you know you have to get more points than that. I thought there was some really questionable moments overall from just a strategy perspective to shake my confidence and Sean McDermott or Brian Table, even though you pointed out some good things there. But, yeah, I mean, if I'm a bills fan today, I'm certainly a little disappointed in some of the performances. But more than anything, the game plan the overall strategy well, and that's the thing so you you talk about a little bit there. Let's let's dive into that for a second, because the Kansas City Chiefs, you have to defend them a certain way. There's a certain thing that you have to do right. And it seems like teams just just overthink it like you mentioned you get Get these guys that want to get into his vertical shootouts with Kansas City, which is what they hope you'll do. They hope that your aggressive on offense because they understand that they're going to score points and so trading possessions. They don't mind if you get a field goal unless they're fine with it because they know they're going to come away with touchdowns long term, And so there's a couple of things and player number one Kansas City ever just 3.75 points per drive this playoff series, right? Which means that if you take a field goal on a drive you but you've given yourself a net negative. It's taking the points is normally like, well, we took the point. That's a positive. It's a net negative in this case, and Kansas City hopes that you will do that. They hope that you'll, you know you'll be aggressive and not take much time off the clock and allow more possessions in the game because they know that they're going to go for touchdowns every time. And they know that if they don't get them, that's still okay. Because if you get a touchdown, two possessions out of five, it doesn't matter if your opponent got a field goal five times, right Eun If you just settle for extra points is 14 15 at that point, right?.

"This thing end of the year winding up today really felt confident coming to this week. Like our guys were ready to play, and I think I showed. I think we played a good game. I think we played a good football team. So hats off to the buffalo bills and charming tournament. They did a good job today. Did. They made the plays they needed to make to win and then put their players in position. To win the game. Um it's quite all football playoff football. That's what we talked about the halftime this how much fun this was And, uh, wake are coming to the game about the importance of red zone and we didn't get it down on a fence and red zone two of five. Not good Enough s O a few too many self inflicted wounds. They played a good game, but the end of the day what I said to the guys in there been awfully proud of our team. We really I thought we played a good for. I thought our players played well. They played hard. Self inflicted wounds, though yes and a couple of them from the coach, perhaps being too aggressive going for it on fourth down and goal inside the five of the four yard line toward the end of the first half, as opposed to putting points on the board and kicking a field goal. And then later on going for two in a situation early in the fourth quarter, where it wouldn't necessarily call for it. You would have been down a touchdown, seven points, but instead you didn't get it and you were down. Eight Frank Reich at times today. To me did not have his best day. It was clear he went in there trying to send a message to his team that we're gonna be aggressive and go take this win. So you go for it on fourth down you go for two. You know, the fourth down is probably He hurts a little more than maybe that two point conversion try because at least you're still within one score at that point, So after Buffalo kick that field goal, you're in that 11 point range. Make it up, but Uh, yeah, Some of the clock management issues caught up to them as well. I thought overall the Colts played about as good of a came as they could have no mistakes, Move the ball, no turnovers. That's usually recipe to win, So that's a credit to frank, right? A couple of the clock management issues, though it took their time outs away, and it took some precious seconds off the clock when they needed it late, and they just couldn't get into field goal range. That was absolutely killer, the Colts become the first team in playoff history. So have more than 450 yards of total offense and no turnovers and lose the 11 previous teams would win have have won that game in the past, and then the big question coming out of it from a cold standpoint, afterward was what is the future for Philip Rivers hold and he was asked if he Had made a decision about next year after the game. No, it's not that easy, You know? I mean, I don't know this route with an answer often, but I think this probably sums it up. Um,.

Apparently, the Eagles took me. I don't didn't Eagle Eagles have knee joints. I guess I could look But they took. They took me again and we're back. It's a different kind of taking any. Apparently they forfeited again. Just stick it to the New York Giants. So the Giants don't get in to the playoffs, apparently. And of course, you get this, You know, draft choice. And if you haven't been paying attention to NFL news, and a lot of people have stopped The so called governor of New York is saying, Oh, if if if the Buffalo Bills are going to make the playoffs in the cold with this was dangerous, and we'll let people gathered for the game 6000 people and then you know the phone calls you're going on. Can we get our top $6000? Sir, that wouldn't give you a seat 5999. You bring your brother Chris? Nope. So back to this. In political news in Georgia. By the way, misspoke. It's not. It's this is bad, I said. The Epoch Times has news that's data analyst Now data Scientists say that I said it was 240,000 votes flipped. Taken from Trump in Pennsylvania. It was nothing like that and a deep apology. It's 432,000. According to the data, scientists And we have on this program. You mean you watched Lifetime. Sidney Powell talked about this votes on the TV screen disappearing from President Trump. Apparently, the people called the vote counters and said I changed my mind. Okay. We'll note that We're two days away from the vote. Counting least Republicans are standing up. Which is great. In Georgia. There's going to be 8000 GOP poll watchers 8000 poll watchers there Allies. On George, I think in the Democrat turnout is high. We're told. We're told. This is so vital. I think that people go in and vote with all these eyes on this. We could do two or three things at once. We can fight fraud. We contract down the fraudsters. We cannot give up and we can continue to vote. We're capable of doing all those things. All of them. And I think that is our duty. To do that. I'm hoping that Republicans in Georgia agree or even people who want honest elections in our lean Republican. Speaking of that, let's go to Georgia. Let's talk to Brian. Somewhere in Georgia. Brian, you are on the Rush Limbaugh program taught Hermann filling in for the Ma. Hi, Brian. Hey, Todd of pleasure talking to you. Yeah, I am a soon to be Ex resident of Georgia, Um But I stuck around long enough to do my constitutional privilege, which is to Vote in this primary. Our voting this runoff for Kelly Leffler in for David Perdue. And I didn't do it because of President although I would do it for Donald Trump. Not sure Zack didn't do it for the Modern day wig party. But, um, which is what you know, I'm a former civics teacher. And that's exactly the way the Republican Party came around is because they had a week party that have a spine. Uh, um, Yeah. Yeah, I did it because it's my constitutional privilege. And despite the fact that there may or may not be shenanigans and everything like that, I can't control that all I can control. Is what lever pull, so I did that. But honestly, this is the last time I'm gonna be doing in Georgia. There were several other factors involving A move out of state, but I don't want to be associated with a state. That's gonna be this, um Um, dishonest winning when it comes to Things like that. And that really pains me because this is there's been a right state. Most of us are our jobs or just dropped. A zoo result of what our governor and secretary of state have been doing or not doing, I should say. It's just not characteristics for them. I don't understand what it is, but I just like I just really can't be associated with a statement that does something like that. I appreciate your honesty, and I appreciate the principle of saying I won't be associated there. I'm tempted to ask where you're moving. So I'm just gonna ask you a quick Where are you moving? I'm moving to another neighboring red state. That, um I knew you were good. I knew you were good anonymous. Is this something told me Brian, that you get anonymous this I respect the decision look like how do you know what with the way people track down people in Doc's on these days? It's kind of dangerous to do so, but Rest assured, I will be involved in politics in that state and will be doing my constitutional privilege and duty in that state as well. Good will appreciate you calling Russia show Brian on a wish you God's good graces. You continue to the year. Thanks for sharing that with us on being a rush a show cause you remind me of something, Brian. Wanted to talk about this right? Quick when I use in politics, so many things don't make sense that to organize my thinking to see Am I seeing what I think I'm saying? I use some axioms. In one of the axioms I use is where there's a double standard. There's a hidden agenda. Have you heard of this? This professor who's also contributed to the Washington Post. His name is Edward Foley. And he was the guy who did this paper talking about. It's gonna look like the Republicans are winning. But then they mail in ballots you gonna come in, and it's gonna be Democrats. And he described this in sort of a pseudo academic sense, as they say, is also a professor. Then he was praised always saw this coming. He warned people, he warned people. This is going to be the case. Why was you not to call the conspiracy theorist? Incidently by the way. He's also predicted that Nancy Pelosi may God forbid be president for a while. He's also predicted that there's going to be an actual real.

This coming Monday. Lots of it into. Aren't you a name dropper tonight? I don't I don't know where to start. That's I've always wondered what the N C A stand standard for. It stood for standard for it stood for Dan is fourth and four and so I looked it up and You know, National police Kleasen Athletic Association. Yeah, fact I thought of something with a curse word in it, but no playoffs. Let's get started the playoffs. Um, our buffalo bills. Our adopted team. The Buffalo Bills played a woozy of a game today, a woozy began city, defeating the Indianapolis Colts by the hair there. Cheney chin chins, They move on to play the Pittsburgh Steelers more than likely or unlikely next week. We're not watching the L. A Rams take on the Seattle Seahawks and Seahawks could not look more Dole right now They're just wasting Wasting Russell Wilson's career pop thoughts on the first game this morning. Well, let's give the score l a lead right now. 20 to 13 late late in the third quarter here, right, Russell Wilson. They're just wasting it. They're not sticking out too much in this. This defense by the Rams has been super super already in escape. Okay, then the Rams are also using their backup starter. Jared Golf should say because he was he was on the the He was on the active roster, but he was questionable going in the game, and they start John Woolford, but he was he was literally listed as emergency use only, but John Woolford decided to break his neck and is currently in the hospital. And so they had to bring in Jared Goff, who has four fingers on his right hand right now, we don't know if Wolford broke his neck, but we saw him get his ambulance. With a net deal on and he was really, really hurt. It was bad enough where they decided to take him from the locker room to the hospital, the hospital but Jared Goff is playing in his thumb. He's put up some really wild looking passes because of his injured some now on the first game. Buffalo Buffalo 27 Indianapolis, 24 Buffaloes of struggled in the first half. Indianapolis Blue a big chance, Ben. They lose by three points of this game, and Indianapolis decided to go for it on 1/4 and go from like 27 yard line late in the second quarter. It's a chip shot field goal where I said You always must take the points. They didn't take the points and Lord Behold, they lose by three. It was one of those, you know. It was the biggest risk you can take in football special the playoffs. I was just stunned that they decided to do that. I was shocked that Phil Rivers didn't didn't belay that. But they decided to go for it on fourth down with million half left in the half, and they did not get it. The bills go down and score touchdown, big mistake, and they can. They grabbed lead by four points going to the half time and That was the immediate shift. And you could tell that the moment I'm just changed fully, especially being in Buffalo. Elsa when there goes No. Almost a pick. Almost almost picked by by Russell Wilson got the CNC so terribly they really I'm gonna be going back and forth and back on the pills. Let me let's get our phone numbers If anyone wants talk about NFL playoffs 512836 year old 5 95 12836 year old 5 90. The Bills look like a different team in the second and when they pulled ahead, and I thought that the Bulls the Buffalo Bills We're just gonna flat out dominate butt handed to Indianapolis for coming back. Well, yeah, I think, obviously led by Josh Allen, who was 26 or 35 with 300 yards and two touchdowns. The guy Will be an M v P in the next 3 to 4 seasons. He's way way too explosive and he has way too many weapons specialist Stefan Diggs, who they didn't even utilize the first half. He only had one catch for about 40 yards, but second half He was the go to guy. I think the past after seeing the bills I'm looking at, you know they're scheduled past four weeks the past four weeks. They put a 56 points. 38 points, 48 points. 26 points. 34 points. After seeing that, I think for bills fans, it was like, Hey, where's the offense while while we scored right now, because bills fans are so used to them, putting up big, big numbers and the fact that the Colts did really They catch in the bay For the most part of the first half. Let me tell you. This is a classic NFL game. And it was a classic NFL game because even though he's never won really anything Philip Rivers to me is one of the gut season quarterbacks. I don't think he's a Hall of Famer, man. I've heard that a lot. I've been hearing a lot of people talk about that this year, debating C Hall of Famer as you've done enough hasn't won a Super Bowl now He's not even a conference championship. Yeah, he's been around he's had. You know he has some of the numbers, but but he's part of that class with With Drew Brees with Tom Brady with Ben Roethlisberger. You can even throw Peyton Manning and there he was in that class where the old elder statesman, Scott, You're a gamer. He is a gamer achieve the least bit around, and I don't know I've always liked him because it's either feast or famine. I've seen games like today where he played really, really well, but I've also seen games We throws four. But I'll tell you what he just he was the tonic for for Indianapolis when he came along. I hope he's not going to retire because I still think he's got some gas in the tank. But I like to watch him play and listen. If it wouldn't be in a couple of drops in that last drive, they might have. Set up for a field goal a tie. Also, they had a dog on the field goal to field goal kicker from Georgia hit that we had to cross bar s O a lot of things with bad, but I just admire Philip Rivers for this, but watch out for Buffalo because it looks like they'll face either Cleveland or Pittsburgh will be actually know what I We said top of the hour. That is gonna be Pittsburgh. I don't know the Browns you're playing so well. And, yeah, Pittsburgh, where they kind of started toe drown a little bit of the second half of the season, but the Browns you're looking good. So you know, I wouldn't hold your breath there if you're Pittsburgh thing, but the Brown's deal. I don't how can they do it? Their facility was closed because of covert concerns all week long they played they practice yesterday. Their head coach defense Key is not going to be there. He he's got Cove in 19, and he's the play callers and a He can watch on TV and have a freaking microphone set up to everybody's helmets. If he wants to, they could have Walkie talkies. That's that makes no difference. That's a lifetime. This is the NFL, not NASA, son. Here's something you know They're getting back. All the receivers Jarvis Landry will be back all their guys will be back. They'll be Unless there's of injuries. All their personnel will be in the game, so the Browns have the potential to do it, but they've had a great year. Steelers are the better team, and there's an interception by Russell Wilson. Wow, if one minute 50 seconds left in the third quarter, and they call it, they call it an incomplete pass. What's going on with Russell Williams? Wilson Wilson? Nobody So hiss. Look, I think it was two weeks ago. The bills were second in the favorites by the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. I think that plus 300 in Vegas We've got to get past the chief's, but I think these bills can win the Super Bowl. These bills are is this was the big test they survive. You're going to get to the playoffs. Who cares if you win by 30 or you win by one survive in advance, and the bills found a way to win these bills. Their offense is so explosive as long as their defense conduce their duties. The offense can put up the numbers. Well, they're looking like they're led by Mitch Morris Mix more night our friend the Center for the Buffalo Bills. If they can get past what we think, probably Pittsburgh or Cleveland. That will be more than likely a trip to Kansas City to face the chief and we talked about Mitch. That's his old team. It's gonna be fun. The rest the way again. This game in Seattle is almost through the third quarter. And this is a surprise because the Rams win 20 to 13. And you've got Jared Golf Quarterback for the Rams, Basically with one hand wasn't supposed to play today. One supposed to play a day and poor guy who was started the game. John Wolf Ward. Has a terrible neck injury. He's in the hospital in Seattle, so we'll see if the Rams could hold on and have this upset victory..
