"Welcome back everybody everybody time once again for another episode of OC spotlight the one show that takes look the most incredible people doing the the most amazing things and boy do our guest qualify for that today here. We have with us some folks from well. I'm GonNa let I'm explained to you here. We have with US Dana and ED welcome to the show here. Thank you very much so Dane Ed. I feel like the old quiz show. I'm old enough remember. What's my line and people will come on everybody. Who Try and guess what you do if I had that same show today nobody nobody would guess what you guys do. What do you guys do where pirates play pirate interplay pirates here. You're part of the pirates dinner adventure this. This is a dinner theater in Buena Park has been there for a long time and you're failing a new show for the first time in five years. Let's talk about that start with Ed here because you actually serve as the show manager yes that's correct on the show manager for Parson Adventure in Buena Park we opened secrets of the deep back at the end end of May and it's been a new show for us since we opened your way back when this is like ninety six or seven back in ninety seven okay so it's been around for awhile and before that it was even existed in another iteration. It was what wild that's right. The the the venue was wild bill's back in the early nineties and then in the late nineties the owners of pirates adventure bought the property and renovated it and now we have pirates dinner venture there you go and sub for those who've never been and I confess all the years. I've lived in Orange County. I've never been to the dinner theater. I don't think I've ever been to a dinner theater at all. So what is a dinner theater experience like what happens there well. Let's see you so you actually are entered the arena and you are greeted into the governor's gala so you come in you're able to prove the shops enjoy a beverage at a bar and and yes even an adult beverage. Should I choose to get uh-huh. Oh Yeah we we encouraged Rome. Do you serve other things other than pirates run. Probably it's a full bar plot tasty cocktails that are bartenders will be more than happy to make for you so you come in and then you go once the show gets rates start you go into sit in at unlike going to to a movie recent chair and watch something in a screen this interactive in some sense. You're not just even a play. You're not just sitting in the audience passively passively watching actors on the state talk about that a little bit what what's the difference between seeing live dinner theater and regular theater. Well imagine you know. You're a mom of two kids. One is four and one is six and you. Maybe want to take them to a movie but they can't sit still or they. WanNa talk and they want to engage with you and your questions. I'm a grandfather that's like it happens and kids love to ask those questions and they want to talk to the screen like Sh- xactly but with this place we encourage that because when you come in it's like you said you're greeted by all these pirates senior put into this immersive experience where you have a team and so maybe you're part of the blue pirate it crew and so that means you're going to be cheering and screaming for your pirates to root for in this and it's an incredibly immersive experience. We do bring kids aboard. The ship were where we have them outside of the ship helping us through competition. GonNa see like on stage. There's a big ship. There's some sort of pirate ship and everybody is seated all around. Hey I just in front watching it up on a stage. You're all around. It and it's there in front of you. Yeah you're in three hundred sixty degree environment. Basically you don't interesting to me because I don't think this immersive idea it was once popular. Maybe it still is back east with this idea of going to a dinner theater and being immersed in the play having dinner and watching than a a live performance that doesn't seem to be a popular notion more at least not one that has has survived. You guys have survived various iterations but I see so many local dinner theaters have gone away. Current curtain. Call was one that was when that went away Elizabeth how it's Curtain Call Dinner Dinner Theater and then it became the just the curtain call yeah. I was a part of that theatre true for ten years. So what a great the idea to go see you know these aren't amateur production Caesar Quality Productions here just a nice school player professional professionals and yet. You're seeing something something come to life in front of you hear anything. I mean knowing you go to a movie. You're going to see two dimensional action and and other things like that. Sometimes Three D. ed this. You're gonNA see stunts right in front of you. We have pirates swing out over ropes right over exactly where you sit. It's just inexperienced unlike any other mermaid splashing flashing upper tail at you during the show you might get a little a little bit. Is this idea everything old is new again here. Suddenly only when you look at the new Disney Park that opened up the star wars park they are trying to be less of a ride and more more of an immersive experience and miniature walk in. I haven't been there yet but they tell me you know. People run up to you and say are you part of the rebellion. People things are HAP- from the minute you're there. You are living in the play. You're you're a participant in the actuator. We encourage people to come dressed up as pirates. We want you to be a part of our L. And there's a lot of people that do it. We'll give you flags and things to wait so now you're there and you have to you have dinner first and then the show or does the show go on during dinner at the show goes on while you're eating so you're led into the arena and the first thing you see is a giant pirate ship surrounded by water and you lead. It's not it's not even you don't have to use your imagination not just a ship on a dry stager and I'm trying to pretend I'm watching Captain Hansen Hooker. There is a There's a a replica Spanish galleon sitting right in the middle of the arena surrounded by water and you are sat around around it in six different color cruise so yeah blue orange purple yellow red and green. I see so that's the section. You're gonNA root for yeah exactly so it's more than I remember going years ago. I don't think they have it anymore. It's been so long since I've been to vegas but treasure island used to have the giant pirate ship and they do the the play. Hey for a few minutes and crowds would gather but it got old. I guess because they didn't change it. It was the same thing over and over and over again but you updated this show and and it's actually a story story. It's not just pirates coming out and going if some story to talk about the story here 'cause you each play different carrots. Dana place treasure to who is treasure treasure treasure is the pirate queen and a lot of the time she is running that shipping all of those other pirates when the captain is not around and at the very beginning of the show she helps CBS to capture the Princess and the mermaid and the treasure and bring it back for the captain. They're really we're pirate. of lady pirates this was an equal opportunity employer back back in those days in a world where women didn't have much opportunity. She could be a pirate so she's the pirate queen she runs the the pirate crew here and they follow her her lead and then who else what is in this thing here. Ed plays a cutthroat to Jack. That doesn't sound like a good guy. He's a mean Jonah. Hill stab me in the back. Steal your drinks and your women well. I don't want to sit in that section. We have a lot of fun I mean. I'll give you a women back. I don't know cutthroat. Jack is yeah. He is your classic pirate. He is a surly man who is not afraid of a fight and he won't back down. You can beat on him. All you want but what's his role in so we've got the pirate queen in his he's trying to also also run. Another crew of pirates. Jack is the red pirate so he's one of the captains henchmen basically there's multiple pirates all fighting over what the treasurer They're finding over well. They're older. They're fighting over loyalty to the captain. They're fighting over the princess okay. So of course there has to be a prince. Oh Women on board ships GONNA happen. Something's something's GonNa have a boy well. Let me see if I can make some sense of this so there's a variety of pirates all fighting over treasure women in another pirate sort of things here and I'm rude. I'm not just watching him. I'm rooting for what if what if my team wins. Do I win something or do I get honor just honor glory of being on the winning team here exactly we have competitions for I mate basically and you you know where becomes I made obviously is second line. behind treasure and is it really participatory. Do people go up and join the crew at -solutely Lee you I leave the dinner theater. I leave the dinner experience and go out on the stage. You'RE GONNA have people that are well. First of all we start off competitions as we involve the kids. The kids are might might be made to row a boat and race around the ship one time tyrants then we have what order called cannon masters where you have to toss a bag of gold to your pirate above you twenty five feet up in the air and then they have to swing in deposit bag golden into a net we have treasure hunters which have to find the flags that are hidden and run them up there mast so there's a lot of interaction actually going on. We're doing stuff. We're not seeking their union. One of my favorite sections of the show is when at least probably what twelve kids or so get brought up board the ship and they get to actually get sworn in as official pirates for everybody does captured for the data ever absolutely love it. You might not get do some one on one stuff. I mean 'cause you know the arena sits seven hundred twenty people and of course you can't have seminar in two thousand people running around but certain individuals are selected by their pirates. GonNa want to jump up on exactly but the interaction also involves you following all the wing orders you know by cheering on your pirate or waving your arms back and forth standing up at attention and being sworn in by the captain himself himself so there's that type of interaction that's where the people are a little bit less outgoing and not really. WanNa be up in front right out on out out fighting in the frontier here on the high seas all right. So how did you to get into such a crazy thing. Come on you. Did you dream of being pirates when you're a little kid answer. Yes I've been in theater and performing ever since I was four years old. So being on the stage is nothing new to me and I knew about this show and I wanted an opportunity and I was actually working at a Tatra Martini which is also owned and run by the same company who runs pirates in adventure there you know right next to each other. I mean I can be doing the show in here. Pirates going on next door. Shut another more of like an adult variety type cabaret show on the weekends no kids they over they've got some great fun acts magicians and aerialist and fun stuff like that and so because I was a singer in that show I thought I always wanted to do pirates and so I found the auditioned for pirates and said I wanNA hop on over there and be a part of this experience and then I founded. How big is the cast. How many people are in this in pirates. We have a cast of eleven characters okay because you play a variety of the characters..

"That she had to post this post because in the previous thread, the minister had turned up the comments, so she could no longer defend herself. And guess what she did this person who believes she needed to defend herself enough turned off the comment. So I couldn't defend myself because she didn't include my message. She only included hers, and she tried to say that I was a bully tards, her and some other things that were in very nice just wanted to make me look bad. But the reality of the situation was that she didn't post the whole message. I message adman and Mike. Hey, you know, if you don't post my post than at least you can take on the other person's post she took down that post and didn't post didn't approve my. That's, that's the most Redel ahead. No problem. That's her post shouldn't have been there in the first act in your no retalitated retaliation will my post was responsible, not retaliation. That's what she called it a retaliatory response, the originalist model. Glad I brought that to the tiny way. I then decided. Okay. I'm just gonna use the Buena park news, I'm gonna publish editorial about what she did. And I did I laid it out. But I before I laid it out. I proved that she was paid. Of course proof. We have that it's thing. So enjoy. Yeah, this kind of it was kind of intriguing to me that one thing, that's intriguing to me is how people blindly discontinued a follow somebody and believe them, even when they know truth about that person. Here's what I thought of today. It really kinda came to the forefront of my mind. These are the same people who would tell you how terrible Trump is, and all of the people who support Trump because. They know that he's a liar. And they know that he did some underhanded things and yet they're still following him. While I know I've made that example six times. Well, it's no different xactly. It's no different. So essentially, if you follow somebody, blindly, who you know to be a liar, you're in idiot, or any much. That's the consensus, all of those words led to that single sentence, and we keep hearing, how, you know, we're racist on or member bringing race into this issue. The people that brought race into this issue did, so immediately, by the way are the ones who were crying races when the message was delivered and the person was served at the city council meeting to city council members stepped down from the day and exercise their rights as citizens to speak, and both of them brought in race into the issue both of them because they're the worst that they were the ones who brought race. And we were not once brought rayson nor have we ever brought race in to the next. It's not part of it race as nothing to do with it. It's an forty. Senate that, that kind of thing gets played because let's face it, it kinda goes back to topic. We sort of touched on once about how a lot of minorities. I do not doubt that they face racism, not a not even a smidge do I doubt it. I don't. Okay. We don't even need to talk about that part because shopping do you doubt it? Oh, okay. So we have concluded that they definitely face racism. So why if we've concluded that the face racism, can I say that the why do they make racist situation? Worse by everything anyone does screaming racism, I in a lot of minority groups do this white people. Do it talking about. Everybody. Does it? Yeah. Everybody does it. It's stupid when you think about it, because you're actually experiencing racism in your day to day life. Police officers harassing you because you're a certain type of person whatever, but your son..

"Then this lady, the schilling of Nepal Schillinger Boina park tells me that I don't know how to tell you this in a nice way. But and proceeds to tell me that, you know, I'm hurting someone's feelings and Babo ball. And so I said, well, really none of my business, whether she's hurting her feelings are hurt or not truth is the truth and the truth are. It's in exactly. And if the truth hurts is not my fall. Yeah. That's a cure. I mean I get it. If you lie about somebody, and you make up stories about somebody and they get hurt that's your fault truth. Here's the thing there. He try to lie about me, and they try to make up stories about me. But because of my motto, the what other people think about me is none of my business. I don't give two hoots about what they think I don't but anyway, though, so this lady, she decides to say that. And so I come back, and we'll of course you're going to say that your page Schill or the person were recalling. And she sends me, a private message demanding that I provide proof of her being a page Schill Ling a page schilling or in that, yes, she only got paid during the campaign, and has been retired since then she was paid. Volunteer is was a paid volunteer. And she demands that I either provide that evidence. Or apologize and I responded with an alibi the way I'm not an elected official in knocking to stand for your bullying added. We'll first of all using the term bullying to describe what we're going through is an insult to everyone Gooding me who's ever been bullied, correct? Then I said, number two, I don't need to provide you with any proof of anything, nor do I need to apologize because you admitted to being paid, right? And you do pay people in shillings, so put she paid what you admitted it you admitted that you were paid. So why do I have to defend myself? When I said you were paid your joke was dumb because we don't paint schillings here. You still allow dollars. Anyway, you admitted it. Why do I have to prove anything? So I then proceeded to tell her that she was almost worse than the other person because she knows the truth, and looks the other way. And that special and I said from going forward, do not contact me again or I will consider it harassment and I will take appropriate. Action, then goes on the public group how this post even got through is beyond me and puts on there about how horrible it is just a post this, but that she defended herself and I gave her some really long basically offensive response. And so she had to block me what she said. The funny part is the funniest honest, you saw this post you guys just going to say, I'm sitting there saying to myself, if I'm blocked why can I see the post, why do I see the post, if I'm blocked, but the best part is in her message she said that she had to post this post because in the previous thread, the minister had turned up the comments, so she could no longer defend herself. And guess what she did this person who believes she needed to defend herself.

"You guys are blaming us like, no, it's, it's happening. You know, I had I was working out in my garage. I had a guy walk up on the other side of my car scouting my garage, and he didn't know I happened to be down in a push up position. I saw. Underneath the car in. I'm going this thing with the hell is he doing so I popped as, hey, what's up dude all just time I shoo any went to the shoe? Like, we'll let let me ask you something kinda sounded earlier. Like you were saying that you think people need to hit rock bottom before they're gonna be willing to help. Is that what you're sick and tired of being sick and tired? Okay. But I would you agree? Would you agree that rock? Bottom is different for everybody. Yes, it is. Okay. So is it perhaps possible that if someone's out on the street, and they're doing drugs, or maybe they're just drinking too much? Or maybe both and, and they're told by the police will look, you can either go to jail, or you can go into this homeless shelter. So the accepted invitation onto the whole nicer. Is it is it possible that at that point they realized that their rock bottom, and they want help, hoping that's possible? Oh, ayso. Also, here's what this, I always go by what the real statistics statistics can be manipulated. I get why why like to quote, some of the statistics because nationwide, they seem to hold true. So I would kind of feel like nobody's fudging these there have to be some massive conspiracy that happen, but let's forget about the statistics. Let's just talk about what happens in the real world. You know, in many, many cities around the world they've had come as you are housing. So they offer your place to stay, and you're even if you're even if you're drug addict in alcoholics your. Common. You're allowed to stay there. Even if you're a drug outgrown alcohol, and what actually has happened? We can. This is the problem. We why like to use real world examples, we can surmise on our own. What might happen what we think will happen. What are any will happen? But you can't argue with what actually happens like give me yesterday. My son guaranteed us. It would not rain while it ran. He, he was sure it wasn't gonna rain, but rain, well, what happened was these people for whatever reason their self esteem, slowly got restored. And they started to realize, you know, five years ago when I first became homeless, I wasn't a method and I wasn't a an alcoholic, and I want my life back that I had, and they turn things around and actually happened in every single circumstance. There is not been a single instance where they have tried housing, the homeless, that has not worked not a single instance. And the problem here in Orange County is they think creating an emergency shelter is. I'm gonna use the capital t the solution and it's not it's part of the solution, but it's not Veselin. There has to be a way to give these people back their self esteem. And you know what those who? I hate to sound harsh, but those people who say a while, they're gonna do, do their drugs from their bed at cetera et cetera. You know what I'll admit they could be right. There's going to be a percentage that are going to be. Yeah. And you know what? They're never going to change, and eventually, they'll get booted out of there, and they'll end up in jail. And there you go. Problem. Exactly. At that point. I'm going sounds reasonable like how much money do we throw at it love when people ask that question? You know, my answer were already paying for it. Yeah. How much are we paying for it? Do you know paying fifty grand per person? Exactly on the top ten percent. I mean let's be let's be accurate. It's the top, there's they they've ranked these homeless people in, like order of, like service provider usage and the top ten percent cost fifty grand per person per year. And the average is thirty five grand per person per year, so you take thirty five grand, multiply that by seven thousand that's a lot of money battle..

"It's the federal court and the worst part about it is, it's the ninth circuit. Court, and they, they govern this part of the country. Everything from Idaho to Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada. And so they have ruled that you must provide resources. Well, okay, my plan does exactly that I mean I give them multiple types of resources at the end. Let's say let's say seventy percent were still left on the street who cares police can deal with them. Maybe there's only one person left in the street doesn't matter the police can deal with them. My end game is still allow the police to not be handcuffed. You asked about. So I have in front of me here, the, the Orange County twenty nineteen point in time count results. So are you aware of what the point in time count is yes? Physically went on walk around and hounded gained everybody got that she got made fun of for that Jeffrey counted, the people, okay, you don't know what you're talking about. All right guys, I saw groups actually I with my job on to go to field. I saw you guys out there. Cruising around looking for people like cool. So so it says fifty one point nine eight percent or chronic almost and that. And that actually doesn't mean what people think it means it means that for whatever reason health issues that are eating up their finances, or whatever they're just never able to going. Yeah. Like things always the great on paper, and they just don't seem to work out in real life. Then thirty two point nine percent are substance abuse issues. Thirty point eight percent is as a result of physical disability. Twenty six point four seven percent are mental health issues. Thirteen point seven percent are developmental disabilities..

"And so here's this couple and a three year old in their homeless because his similar situation, what you were talking about his job took him from sixty thousand dollars a year down to about ten thousand dollars years, a part time employees, so he couldn't afford livery was living, but in talking to them their problem was they weren't aware of some of the programs that were available to help them get back on their feet. And so, you know, I can for every story I hear like yours, I can tell two or three like that because there's, you know, there's two such the home shish and the problem is you heard the statistic gave you. It's about sixty forty so fron tents and purposes, it's fifty fifty. Right. So you got a fifty fifty chance of meeting somebody who you know, for lack of a better term, just lazy. They don't care. They wanna live that life. And you know, it's great for them or whatever. But here's the thing. That brings me exactly. My point of why have the plan half the end game is let law enforcement do its job. And you know, there several local homeless advocates who actually hate my guts, because them, they're such bleeding-heart the police, never be involved. And I don't agree with that, because of exactly what you said. Even let's say the number is, is forty percent that don't want help. That's forty percent of people that just wanna live on our streets and steal from us. And do all this terrible stuff. I do not claim that. That's not true. I think that they are out there like that. So here's my plant. Here's what my plan was that still leaves sixty percent who likely want to get off the street somehow but maybe they've been out there too long. So they've lost their identification. And, you know, our government makes it really hard as a lot of red tape to get through these programs. So the first step in getting the this problem solve is to take the people that want help. And give them some kind of transitional housing like these navigation centers that they're talking about key thing here, though, is there has to be services that wrap around that. So the next step is get them paperwork ready find, you know, get them. They're ide-, if they don't have their social security card helped them, get that connect them up with if they've got substance abuse problems. Connect them up with people who can help them with that. And then put them into more permanent housing. It's still transitional put them into something more permanent. And finally, you're, you're left with everybody that wants help us help, and you're left with a group of people that don't want any help will, then you give them step four, which is you can create an there's a proposals been out there for years to create like these mobile home park type places where the us like many homes, and it's like a hundred fifty bucks a month her person to live there, and most of these homeless people. Have that money, and it would give them shelter and give them a place to go and. Just happened type, and we have a breakdown between bad luck situations. Like I was describing myself and those that are on the addiction. Yeah, I can I can pull that up. There's a report that came out about that not too long ago. But the, the if you, if you offer them, those little houses, then finally, you're left with the group that we're talking about that. They don't care. They, they wanna be out on the street, but the police can now do something about it. Because, as you know, the courts have said, you can't do anything about this until there's resources. And so, to me, what happens is the people who are yelling and screaming about not wanting to provide the resources or sort of banging their heads against the wall, because it isn't use saying they have to it isn't me saying they have to it is the mayor saying they have to it's the courts end..

"Lawsuits now being filed because of the Wolsey fire. We'll have details right after traffic less than two minutes from now it's four thirty five. Traffic and weather together every ten minutes on the fives. And here's the niece fondue on the one thirty four westbound Buena Vista you've got a stalled car and some slow traffic. This is in the third lane from the left, and it's slow from the five and then five south at the ten west in Boyle heights. Have got any problem there? It looks like it's right on the transition. The five south is slow as you head away from Los feeless LA, car guy sky, five Desmond over the sixty between Boyle heights, an industry driving to sell the pleasant, and certainly is not out of the east L energy. Schwartz six oh, five going to be pretty tough one there. But east of there while you're still be enough to breaks at headed into a dive bar seems to be a bit more manageable slowing at looking down at Gail and Kalima right now. Those are also pretty viable alternates. If you like us to cut through industry, let's go over to Scott now, he's got Alhambra the tent you got a wreck on ten eastbound right at free bodies to the Senate ten looks like a pickup truck and a car in the right lane. So out of oil hide starting at the five. It's going to remain slow into the Rosemead area out about Rosemead boulevard. It slows again from just about Santa Anita heading out toward a in west Covina Ninety-one Anaheim hills with Brian it's our westbound side where I'm getting reports of a crash. This is going to be an overturned blocking the fast track lanes westbound right before we're canyons heads up. I see a little bit of slowing their eastbound, you are happy. It's caught your attention the fast track a heavy off the fifty five to the to forty one. The main line actually loads up at the scales. Heavy out to green river on the five north before artesia. We've got a stalled truck reported in the second lane from the left and traffic as. You come up out of Buena park next report four forty five with four reports. More often, I'm Denise condo in the spectrum twenty four hour traffic center,.

"And weather together every ten minutes on the fives, Jennifer York, I just got word of a stall rig on the south five at Washington. The off ramp is it's gonna be blocked for an hour. Get a big big toe in there, and there are some slowing from Woody. Are it's not that bad. Yet. I hope it doesn't get worse. Northbound sixty-five gotta sluggish coming up from south street all the way up to the north. Northbound five is also still very heavy out of Buena park from karma Nita all the way up to the east LA area. Wow. Downtown really slam where the north by becomes a north one online through the four level as real heavy northbound five also really tough. This is the Golden State section from the east L A entertained up through the to and beyond in facts. Further ahead. That's why this is so heavy. I just got word of a three car crash northbound at zoo. So that's before the one thirty four I in the right lane. So that's adding to that heavy drive there on that northbound five coming up on the east LA interchange. Southbound five there's nothing reported in Burbank, but it is heavy heavy from Sun Valley heading down. Well, it stays tough all the way down into east LA. So now the five, unfortunately, it's rather heavy the one seven. Always been taught since the seven o'clock hour it's slow from victory. Heading into this past southbound four five you can count on it. It's tough from Sherman way to pass eastbound Ventura from one NetCom all the way across is very heavy now, the westbound one on ones kind of catching up it wasn't so bad. But now it's tough for before the seventy foot all the way across you get a bit of a break at the four five to that transitions. Always so heavy there is you tried this for the west southbound four zero five, but it gets a bit of a break in the right around wide. Okay. It gets heavy again heading out towards Woodland Hills. And speaking of heading north to the Chatsworth area to panga canyon got a downed power line. That's close right at Devonshire for a block to the north. So everybody's been jumping onto Soto. The lights are out there, by the way. Power outage. And we've also got a lot of slowing onto soda because people are jumping onto that. I would say you might want to go all the way over to Tampa to get up to the one eight team. Our next report at eight forty five. I'm Jennifer Yorkers more traffic reports more.

"And weather together every ten that. It's all the fives of this update sponsored by Amtrak. Here's Barbara approx conked out in Sherman oaks went on eastbound for Coldwater canyon. It's sitting in the right lane. That's adding gear drive starting just before the four zero five traffic sticks with you to the one thirty four. You're going to be hitting the brakes again on that one. Thirty four eastbound from pass avenue all the way into Glendale. Clearing wreck in Hollywood, one seventy southbound four riverside drive watch after delays beyond that heading into Hollywood. And from there through into the downtown area. One ten southbound really jamming up through the Elision park area from the five through downtown. There's a crash downtown one ten southbound it's reported on the connector to ten westbound. So that's not going to help matters. Any annual stay slow into south LA and on the one ten northbound in south before century. Crash there in the center divider really jammed up from the one zero five bet, unfortunately, it will stay busy beyond that pretty much all the way into the downtown area. If you're taking the five southbound out of the east LA interchange, expect delays before the seven ten into Norwalk northbound still pretty tough out of Buena park making your way up into the downtown area. Looks like got a little problem on the five northbound Lakewood there clearing that crash over to the right shoulder and fountain valley for five northbound four brookhurst. Wreck off to the right slows you down from Fairview. Traffic stays slow up to bolsa. And then you've got more heavy traffic from Westminster to just pass seal beach boulevard and seal beach, where they're clearing a wreck out of the left lane that intern is slowing the twenty two westbound starting at garden grove boulevard. What if there was a car that could breeze through traffic there isn't?.

"They would've asked all of the questions, but they don't have the manpower to go out there and hunt the tap and never looked at again. Exactly. And that's because they don't have the manpower to deal with something that cost three hundred and fifty dollars. I think the left. Verge city police forces probably tripled the size of the point of our police force for the same size city. And then there's also the RCMP in the city for major crimes. Right? So if it's like having triple the Buena park police force plus the Orange County sheriff like. I get it. There's a lot more resources, but the point is it depends your feelings on how far you're going to be willing to let the Thorndike's go is going to be based on your experience with the authorities if you've had positive experience like I had when I was in Canada, I see your point, but see when you've had negative experiences like we've had here, what you say is no, I'm not giving in it is it's all about trust in with the Canadian police. I have like one hundred percent trust. I don't. I don't think they'd do anything bad to me now. That's not saying Canadian police officers have done bad things because obviously there are shitty people in every single group of people. Yes, but I think that the Canadian police have a different way of handling their training in a different way just like in their rotations, and I think that it's a little bit more successful than it in you. Just like not all American police officers are you know exact shady or not? Well trained or whatever. There's a lot of trust in Canadian police officers Canadian, and we're not even going to go so far as to say they could both have the exact same training and handle the same situation the same way. And they're still being more as near beaming trust over there than there is over here point being there's not anything they are doing right or wrong that's causing it. It's the public's experience over time. They've avoided a lot. They haven't had the big scandals that police officers have had here. And I think we've we've discussed this before too, that the race issues aren't as crazy extreme. There's they are here. Yes. I mean, there's obviously still race issues. They have their own race issues that don't exist here like, but they aren't as crazy extreme. Yeah, no, that that part makes sense. You know, it makes sense, but I don't think the public is nearly as polarized there. Well, that is why back to our topic people can get all I rate at in and out burger who, yeah, they don't into the Republicans, but guess what? They were donated to the Democrats to because they're a major corporation and they're trying to gain a little influence in Washington, right. And why the hell not. And so they donate to both sides of the aisle because then both sides of the aisle are fighting for the soldiers outlay. But here's the thing. Let's say you succeed with your little boy caught on you put them out of business. Well, guess what? That's a nice fat donor. It's not there to donate anymore to you either. Right. Yeah, I think it's ridiculous and that's where I sit on the issue is. They haven't thought it all the way through. It was interesting. We completely disagreed on the police issue and then figured out the reason we disagree on it. And now we can just go happily on our Mary way disagreeing and neither of us care we'll, yeah, doesn't matter because it doesn't matter because like what I'm saying to make sense. I totally see what you're saying. And I can see why you would stop right there. Let's see what the experiences I've had. I I keep going and I go, well, what would stop them from doing x or y, or z? No, three major interactions with police ever all of them again..
