"My grandfather wasn't an Omaha He was at Utah beach but he fought in the Battle of the Bulge He named my father John after a battle buddy of his who was killed in combat And when I graduated the Secret Service academy we didn't have a lot of money so we all stuffed into one room and double tree in Alexandria Virginia my grandparents came down you know we had like cots and everything We just didn't have a lot of dough So we couldn't afford another room So my grandfather stayed in the room with us and I stayed on the couch and in the middle of it of course he gave them the bed and in the middle of the night my grandfather got up and yelled really loud It was really odd I don't know two 3 o'clock in the morning And nobody responded but me I just was kind of like are you okay Everybody else just slept through it and got up and went right back to sleep and was interesting The next morning I think I said to my dad I said what was that about Or maybe it was my grandmother I said what happened with grandpa I said why do you do Oh yeah he has bad memories from the war when he came back from World War II You know sometimes he'll get up at night and he'll scream and it's because he's having some kind of nightmare and he just goes back to sleep Those are the sheep dogs Those are the men and women who have decided to raise a right hand and pledge allegiance to the United States serving combat and leave a piece of themselves behind for you My grandfather did that Never talked about it by the way ever I remember when Sabin private Ryan came out I asked him about his experiences in combat and more and he never said anything He didn't want to talk about it The silence there was deafening at times Showed you what they'd been through

So it was three and a half that means that it's a push. Listen, I'm looking at momentum. I mean, I don't see my ultimate Boston. Games four and 5. Yes. Game 6 to me, I look as a fluke. I think it's the same bet, bro. It was the hand of a guy that got that child 'cause they had less time, like if everybody was 2.1 on the clock, they're outta here. They're not, it's over. Kyle Seraphin: FBI Investigation Into Trump Lacked Evidence
"Kyle you will remember the FBI So although you weren't an active member of this Trump investigative team you understand the process is better than the average guy and even better than other federal agents because every entity Secret Service DEA whatever has their own processes Now one of the things I found deeply disturbing about this is they move to a full investigation on Donald Trump and his team despite John dorm acknowledging in the report that quote they never possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings Any Kyle they don't say a little bit it was on the margin they had no evidence So how is it in the FBI that this didn't even go to a preliminary investigation but a full investigation with no evidence isn't there some documentation have to produce It's funny So the way that that works is that somebody agrees to sign off on it And when the deputy director which was Andy mccabe at the time goes and tells his buddy Peter strzok who was the deputy assistant director of counterintelligence to go open this case and do it as a full investigation then that's who signs off on It's the number two guy in the FBI signed off on it I'm using this got me blocked by Peter struck today I've been waiting for this for kind of a while actually But he finally blocked me because he does this whole thing and he goes you know the Clinton foundations they opened a preliminary investigation how dare them And it's like yeah Pete That's actually how the book works The policy says when you have some allegation but it's unsubstantiated you do a preliminary investigation tops You don't start with a full investigation This is a cell phone that you always did But end of the day the guy doesn't care about policy or law or his marriage vows You know he's just a dirtbag And amusingly he still out there being listened to by the left because they can't help but celebrate these guys who are heroes to them but violated federal law violated FBI policies and really made a clown show of that organization that used to have some respect in this country now half the country is looking at them like they're the enemy

Remind me never get on Kurt schlichter's bad side over town hall. He writes a piece about Michelle Obama that is scathing. You want to, but his argument is, she could be laying in wait. First of all, I've been saying this for two years and everybody, oh, that's stupid. You know what people say? They say Mark, stop talking about that. Who tells me to stop talking about something unless they fear it. So thank you, thank you, thank you. She is an incredible candidate for no good reason, but you don't need a good reason. She has incredible star quality that's attached to who her husband is. And that's not to take anything away from her accomplishments, whatever they are, her services First Lady, which was fine for a Democrat First Lady, whatever. But she brings back the aura of Obama back when the Democrats had a president who could complete a sentence in the English language. She's a huge rockstar, massive positives, almost no negatives because she has no policy track record that is real. So it's not like I necessarily fear her. That's an overstatement, but would she be a force to be reckoned with in a Democrat landscape if Joe winds up being sidelined, you bet you it. Now what did Kurt say? I mean, I have all kinds of things to say about her. Her views that are terrible, but. First of all, Kurt was saltier than usual. I mean, for example, he writes, he writes, everybody knows that Joe Biden is a demented freak and a creepy confident weirdo who was an idiot before his mind disintegrated into the kind of mush that he eats on the rocking chair every afternoon watching matlock reruns.

Yes, so just after the 9 11 tax, I and at about 20 other very good people started working at the agency, the CIA, and a very small program that basically was for younger officers to develop into more senior officers. So I started just after 9 11 attacks served the country for a good number of years left just before the 2016 elections and dipped my toes in front of a camera, even though I've been for a hydro cameras for years doing operations. And started doing more media work because I was increasingly concerned by what I saw to be really terrible leadership in this country. And I think the past 7 years or so, we've seen some of that haven't we. And that leadership that I think is so terrible is extended from the intelligence community. I'm sorry to say, people like John Brennan and James Comey and others from the CIA and the FBI respectively. And so in the past couple of years, I've been doing a lot more media work. You have been so gracious to have me on. And now I've started my own podcast called the right report, like my last name, WRI GHD. It's mostly news, very little opinion and analysis, but I want to help people understand the world and then yes, we will also be talking about some domestic issues, but it's a really frightening time I think what's happening in different places around the world. But most especially here in this country were former president Trump has correctly said that I think our greatest threat is actually internal, our own internal enemies trying to destroy this country.

"Comes to those you worked with, whether it was in the marines, the police or the CBP, how did what you learned from your aunt and your father inform your leadership style because this is a tough question. Often people get thrown into a leadership position, and they're not sure. Am I there buddy? Am I there drill sergeant? How did you, what did you take from them that you used to inform what you did as a leader? As a leader, I never looked at folks. I wasn't there to make friends Sebastian, but yet I also understood that everybody's role was equally important in organization. And I also sold my role as a leader is to provide them the tools of authorities and resources that they needed to do their job. And then ultimately, as we talked about, when they're doing their job and they're right, to be their protector as well, to have their backs, especially right now in this insanity that we're living in. There's an attack on the military, the attack on the police, the attack on border enforcement, we're really running true more so than any other time in our history. But at the end of the day, too, I also think it was important that I as a leader that I showed strength that I showed will that I shall decisiveness. I've been a leader and I've been a subordinate. And one of the most frustrating things that I had ever was a leader that was wishy washy indecisive and didn't have a strong will. And if you made a mistake, what would you do? I owned it, owned it without hesitation. This is another great thing, right? You set the example. Look, I made no bones. When I was a leadership position, everybody knew that I was in charge, and to me, what that meant at the end of the day, I was responsible for everything the organization did or failed to do. And one of the most important thing was when we did fail, when I failed, was to be honest open and own it.

This guy didn't give the documents to Jim Jordan or Matt Gaetz or breitbart or newsmax. He gave it to his 26th game of buddy. So can he talk to us about this case? So the classic stooge. In intelligence malfeasance and says, the characteristics have never changed. Some get sexual gratification. They get that reward. Some money. And we've certainly seen that in history. And others, it's a self esteem thing. Or it's like for the Cambridge 5, it's true believers. They communists. Yes. Burgess and Phil. Who infiltrated the highest levels of British intelligence. And Buckingham Palace. Yeah. That's what this guy is. But it's a deeper issue for me in that. And let me just say, it is not unusual. I've been in reserve intelligence officer. It's not unusual to have a 19 year old. Yeoman in the navy or a tech, pumping this stuff out. Just because of his age, he is not a function of access. What does disturb me is that this Pentagon, this DNI, this CIA knows that, for instance, the Wagner group. Infiltrates these chat groups. They have algorithms, and if they see the word secret. Or they see the word military or plans. They'll get people in these chat groups and voila. They have access. And they cultivate guys like this.

"Do you think MrBeast has on YouTube? Yeah, so MrBeast has I think I'll check this morning was a 140, at least million subscribers on his main channel. He has about at least ten other channels he's got one for like gaming. Another one for like the philanthropy stuff. So he's got a very spread out, but the main the main channel is. Yeah, very, very big deal. I've been a fan of him myself for many years. That's why I'm talking to you. Yeah. Exactly, yeah. So Simeon, by the way, on the team here at the Trish Regan show. And he and I were talking about this this morning because my kids know who MrBeast is. I mean, I sort of know him because, you know, yeah, I'm in this world enough, but I can't understate how big a deal he is, which is why I think it's important to hear those numbers from Simeon. MrBeast, AKA Jimmy Donaldson. That's his real name, right, simian? Yeah, correct. And he's had this YouTube channel for a while and he's got like his friends, his childhood friends and he goes around with and hangs out with and they're all kind of like sort of guys guys and they do these escapades. They give it a lot of money by the way, don't they? They do, yes. One of the main focus of their videos is the scale of money they spend like a recent one where they compare a $1 plane to get to a $100,000 plane ticket. So they do that. They do all these comparisons. They give it a lot of money, a lot of charity. That's nice, and they've got this huge massive following. But they've got kind of an image, I'm thinking, right? Well, this image is getting shattered overnight. It's been in the process because the kids have been noticing that one of the characters, a guy named Chris heisen, who's one of Jimmy's childhood buddies. He started growing his hair. Like it was getting longer and longer. And this is a guy who was married, had a young child, but seems to have been in the process of transitioning. Is that right Simeon? Yeah, correct. And for the longest time on MrBeast, pretty much his main sidekick. So as you would with the kids show you have all the main characters and the side characters. Because it turns out that Chris is going to become like Kristen. I mean, Chris, the guy's guy, buddy, for MrBeast, is now apparently a woman, and he's just figured this out. And so he's transitioning. And I don't know how that's really going to go over. I got to ask the audience, right? Because I think that a lot of the base that watched the show was probably southern American, lots of kids, by the way,

Now, even governor hulk will now say it, we can't let these criminals back on the streets. Why? Because you're talking about it said, I'm talking about it every morning. You can't there's got to be consequences. It's why we have all these shootings. These guys are running rampant and brag and all these Soros funded DAs exactly what you said are bringing down and slowly crumbling all the great big cities. And I can't figure it out. "We've talked about having a good relationship with your manager and how that can really be a key to success in a current company culture, but we hear so many stories about nightmare managers, right? And people that you just do not have a good relationship with no matter how hard you try, what kinds of suggestions do you have for people who want to maybe climb the career ladder in their organizations, but don't actually have a good relationship with their manager. Doctor joy, that is so hard. That is so hard. And I will say that one, the number one reason people leave jobs is because they leave that bosses. Not that companies the bad bosses. And so if you are someone who's listening, you are experiencing dealing with a bad boss, right? I know that is relative, then just know that you are not alone. I've had a lot of conversations with my community, in my coaching clients, on managing up and it is a process. It is a journey. A lot of people get promoted because they are probably good at their jobs, but they don't really have a ton of people, skills and experience. I think it's so important for organizations to require some type of leadership training. But before putting folks in management roles, but to answer the question around, what should someone do if they don't have a good relationship with their manager? So for anyone that is listening and feels as though they don't have a good boss, they don't have a good relationship with them. I want you to know one, you're not alone, and two, you can turn it around. If that person is willing to turn it around, right? There is only so much you can do. I think when it comes to just chasing career goals, you don't want to leave things unfinished or unsaid. You want to be able to walk away from an opportunity saying, you know what? I gave it all that I got. And I really tried hard with this boss in this manager and nothing seemed to work, right? And so let's talk about what those strategies could be. One, it's having regular conversations with your manager. Having strategic conversations with them. So I would recommend setting up regular one O ones. Weekly biweekly monthly at minimum, where you are able to get in front of this person, share with them what you're working on, questions that you have. How it's actually helping the team and the company and also taking the opportunity to have dedicated time to learn from them. And to build that relationship in that report, some bosses don't want to be buddy buddy, and I'm sure for some of the listeners, you probably don't want to be buddy buddy with your boss either. Don't worry so much about being liked. Focus on being respected. And if someone is really good at their job, if they're adding value left and right, who cares if we're not grabbing drinks that happy hour. Who cares if we're not sharing gossip about the water cooler in the break room? Focus on being respective..

All of these things. And that's not necessarily something that a ton of women identified with so i've created three different types of magnetic catalyst in aspirational all. Three different ways that you can show as a leader and use your presence to influence others but not feel like you have to become somebody else to be a leader. That was just talking to somebody it today. Who is more of a catalyst executive presence in what that means is instead of trying to just buddy buddy everybody into going along with what they want which is more traditional like magnetic style. They really try to make an argument when they're trying to influence based around rallying other people to the cause so getting people engaged in having them feel like it's a collaborative thing like they're contributing to this idea and it's more focused on values than on me as an individual influencing So that's kind of how i use.
