In this case the crazy white supremacists who are just basically running around with guns and causing all types of ma'am could everybody make alive and get out of the country because america sucks. Well other say. I admire the actually. I have a lot of respect for this movie. Because i i want to say that if you are friends with trump supporters i've seen i've seen people post on social media. Please be kind to each other okay. Black lives matter the the cake. They're the same thing okay. Why can we all get along. It's it's just opinions. He voted for trump twice. So okay. he's just like you. Let's all get along here. Those are real social media posed by the way actual people really believe that can help deal how. Everybody's everybody's everybody is a good person and this movie is like no screw that you don't get it and not only that. But they go out of their way to basically both make a fool out of an piss off white supremacists. 'cause they're the bad guys in here. I mean this is something most movies are afraid of doing. Whenever you think of. Who's the bad guy. People beat up in a movie. It's always the russians or the nazis or moral were to or space. Nazi some sort of fictional being but people like bill makers never seem to or not very often. You don't see. Filmmakers touching i in lake white supremacists or modern day nazis as the bad guys of fell goes. They're like we wanna appeal to them to we want them to watch your movie and the forever purges like no screw you guys and i i respect that because it is a move it. 'cause this is what i want to dumb movie when i wanted to quote unquote turn my brain off just to have fun. You see action. That's all i look for. You don't have to make a two and a half hours. You don't have to have one amounts of exposition where we have to look at a drama. A if you want things to remain fun had the characters be fun. You know the dialogue can be done. It could be ridiculous. Keep a ridiculous. The whole movie and they did that. I even even when it's trying to be serious that there. I mean yeah. EVO 2020 was cancelled
"Yvo Twenty twenty has been canceled due to various sexual abuse allegations. Yvo Is the biggest annual fighting game tournament in the world, and even with the covid nineteen issues plaguing everyone on the planet. The tournament was soldiering on with plans to make it fully online. Earlier this week, however that all fell apart, and in order to learn more about it, I called on Imran Khan to explain everything Imron. Come into the gaming ride home show again for having me Yvo was canceled. And I just want you to give me the full story. What happened? Why was it canceled? Everything start from the beginning, so ego is the biggest fighting tournament in America Kinda the biggest in the world. There's like some discussion about that at this point, but ego is basically where fighting games have been aspiring to for the last twenty thirty years and listening started in the ninety S. This year, obviously because of covid kit have their usual Mandalay Bay Las Vegas big gathering of fighting game players. So this year they ended up canceling I place. Eve Online Eve online was a different thing where the. Mainly, got games together with like Netco like mortal Kombat eleven and them fighting her indie game that was originally based on my little pony, but basically it was A. It has to evolve brand that could stay around despite not being the big mass gathering tournament that they expect over the last couple of weeks. There's been a bigger. industry-wide movement to out sexual predators in gaming and the gaming industry, and some companies have been hit harder than that are with that bubis off for example, but for the most part it's. It's not a huge thing within the FTC. Because the FTC's always kind of had a reputation of like. Being a bit more open with their sexual harassment and it's always like. It's never been to a level of. A mass critical mass. Joey quilter this past week yesterday in for yesterday in fact was outed by a player. Named He's just does mikey. He goes online and is after the tag is crack. Peron but George Taylor. Who is the head of the current? President Vivo who founded it with Tommy Tony Kanaan. was outed for experiences when he was. Close, to twenty, where they were southern golf land, which is an amusement park in l. a.. That mikey accused him of basically. Paying money to young kids to take their shirts. Germany polls mikey related experience where he said quarter. Paid him twenty dollars to see his genitals inside a restroom and bought him pornography so. It's IT'S A. It's a larger thing that when you look at it from the perspective of not a child who just thinks they're having fun. It's real creepy, but what is conditions came out. Other people's Front, also coming out of the woodwork, saying like more finding old chaser people were talking about doing these things, but not naming names, and now that it's out. The floodgates are broken out. Yvonne immediately went. No, WE'RE GONNA put on administrative leave and check this out, so I mentioned Tom. Tony Kennedy before their more famous like they are obviously co-founders of ego, but there are more famous right now for being developers of Product L. at riot games so. They had to step in for this and go okay. We're looking at this right now. We're investigating and seeing what happens. It did not take very long before nether realm. I believe the first one like say. Are Involved with ego involvement in that sense means we don't WanNA game there. We're not going to earn any money towards prize pools. We're not doing any advertising which is fairly big deal. Arguably moral combat was like the lead game for that tournament. Right for the online tournament. Yes, Merle come at usually has a hard time with like the in person tournament. Fighting community hasn't really take to that game too well, but as an online net code game like for example, smash brothers was canceled for Eve online because the net code. Isn't that good, so this is more time to shine. The actual like really arguably was streetfighter as it is every year. This year. Are Not meeting her, but a little bit. After another canceled COP CANCELED IN ONCE CAPCOM cancels gets away from ego. Then that's that's the ballgame lets. Everything goes away soon after main sex developers of them biting heard who this is their big chance to become A. Kind of a household name and if I didn't need community, they cancelled. Bay Namco canceled and ran into that ego are the canons came out with a message from as ego saying? Hey, we were cutting for joy color. He is not president anymore. In the future, he will have zero involvement with the organization this not he's going to not be on. He's going to be on the board, or he'll be the FCC or he'll still kind of tournaments. They're cutting it off completely. Shortly after that they also that announced, we can't under these circumstances and this change in organization also do evil online in a couple of weeks in August. A month or in August? I. Know that screws over a lot of people, but. It seems like honestly the best. Call right now of. You'RE GONNA have to go through with work. That joy has done or you're going to have to. Try It's from scratch. Cobble together in event that takes at least a year to actually set up and try to get together in a couple of weeks. Yeah, I mean they just they basically. Got Rid of the boss in the most public way, possible right I mean it's it's you can't just like recover from that in a matter of weeks. Really Yeah, it's. It is one of those things of a lot of this is. Probably high time for the funding community insert reckoning with a lot of these things, because it's an issue for a number of years, it was I. I don't know if you recall but a about eight years ago, there was a street fight across capcom across Tekken. Show online, and it ended up ending as a result of some sexual harassment claims, and those a big divide in the community about like whether sexual harassment was a just a part of the culture or not and. Stuff like this doesn't help that argument. No I mean I like you, said earlier I mean like. Feels like the right call to elevate it, and as disappointing as it is for Yvo to be cancelled like it's a big flag for like we need to address. This is if we're going to cancel this event because we need to look at ourselves internally and I think I. Mean Hope the hope is that they come out better on the other side. I mean it seems like this is one of those things where. I. Hesitate to say Covid kind of save them but. If. This were an actual in person things still at Mandalay Bay then they wouldn't be able to cancer that quickly an online tournament. Shuttered a lot more easily. The bigger question now is what happens next year.

"About our episode today I'm so excited about the topic this is something being before we say what it is this is something that helps so many people and many ways my mother included I have to say just an amazing thing and I'm excited we're talking about this knock knock knock on heaven and it has been what months now that I've wanted to do this and I've been so good and putting it off and trying to be seasonal and everything so I kind of feel like deserve a little pat on the back go hey look at me it's finally time it's time so today we are talking about something that is so near and dear to me and to you yes as I as you know as I know as As I know we know we all know that's not even a thing so I guess the best way to to approach this is just say that what we're talking about our Bubis Bubis Not Bubis not booby we are not talking about Bubis today we're talking about the lack of Bubis today yes and how we can we as a community have come together to rectify that so as a member of the Integrative Medicine Program here at Mary Washington Hospital we have we have health fairs every year and see these women that are going into treatment or coming out treatment and it was always important to me to ask them how I could help them in the one thing that I heard most often from women that had gone through treatment for breast sir was that they never felt like a woman again they never felt pretty so being who I am an avid knitter I started here in Fredericksburg. A local chapter of knitted knockers so it's Fred's knockers is who we are but I didn't thanks Fred but I think we actually have a friend who does in fact knit the aforementioned duckers that's funny you know you got to do these things but what we do is we are a group and I can't stress this strongly enough and I don't just mean our local chapter I mean nationwide and now in fact worldwide we are a one hundred percent volunteer they buy their supplies to do this but what we do is we nit prosthetic breasts for women who have undergone mastectomies to help them feel pretty yes again yes so we knit them out of cotton or acrylic it's it's a very specific yarn that we use but the reason we do too is one is for everyday wear but acrylic dries more quickly so those are for swimming so we actually make knockers for swimming and we make every day knockers they are available free free F. R. E. cannot stress that enough to anyone who wants them anyone anywhere period regardless end of story doesn't matter why you want him doesn't matter what color you want doesn't matter how many you want if you want them they are the size a through double d standard anything above a double D which I have made we do those on special order but they are all knit by volunteers women who have either gone through cancer treatment who knows someone who has gone through cancer treatment who just are crazy avid knitter like I am and they want to help it's something that we can do their quick they're easy and it's litter Lee something that we do as you know that changes someone's life absolutely I was just about to say it's life changing my mom who is currently going retreatment and working with you a lot with a lot of things at the beginning of the year had a mastectomy and I have to say we went through this process for a while thinking okay what do we what do we get her what kind of clothing do we buy and then finally when she came in here and saw you and you said why don't you try this she has been wearing it ever since and it literally makes her feel whole again pretty and that is amazing it's amazing and I can attest to that first hand by just saying that that you were right it is life changing she wears it every day it is something that she now has has orders for her friends that are going through treatment as well and it's life changing and it does something for these women that is there in such a time in their life zo to be able to provide the service it's an unbelievable service it's it's unbelievable for us to I am lucky in that I am a distribution point for them as well I'm I'm very blessed to have people come in and you know I helped them pick them or I just let them sort through we have five different nations here in the Fredericksburg area where you can pick them up for free and you can get whatever size you want you can get whatever color I have some amazing niggers they do some crazy stripes and colors and we've done football team colors we've done baseball team colors we've done them with little tattooed arts on them it's such a blessing to have these women come in that are either immediately post surgical or who have been out of treatment for some time I've had women who've come in here who've been out of treatment for years who have gone through the process of having a prosthetic made and I I certainly am not saying anything negative about that but as you can see here today this is a prosthetic that is made for everyday wear it is slimy is cold once it gets against the skin it gets warm it gets sweaty it's heavy as you can see it's a very very heavy thing to carry around it requires a special bra that not many women have difficulty getting on by themselves so they have to ask for help so it's it's embarrassing and then this is the in this is the swimming version so this one is as you can see huge yes and heavy same thing so the ones that we make are very lightweight very excited we have a separate bags actually while we're while we're doing the episode I have such amazing volunteers that drop them off here so that I can fluff them in Baghdad send him out into the community but as you can see here I have a size see and assize de so you can see them both they're very soft yes they're very lightweight their mission gene washable and dryable you can hand wash them in the sink you can pretty much do anything that you want with them some women like to put a little pebble in him to give him away but most importantly the thing that I hear from women is you don't have to have a special bra you can put them right into your everyday bra you have the comfortable and nobody knows the difference yeah I mean it's just an instant change for them so one of the things that we really need to talk about with knitted knockers I either so important is that one in every eight women will be touched in some way by breast cancer during their life yes we are supposed to as society as women we are supposed to be beautiful clothing is meant and and I'm sorry but but I'm just you know me I'm a no BS person clothing meant for women that have breast as larger breasted women I can tell you that they're certainly not meant for people like me and finding clothing that fits is a challenge yes I know that for baller breasted women it's the same thing they're just not but all clothing is cut to to curve and surrounded women's breast to make her feel beautiful and to make her feel feminine if you don't have that they're nothing fits right and we need to change that we need to change that perception we need to change that in the women that that or going through it but we also need to change in society society is not going to change anytime soon but helping these women to be able to reach out to them one knitted knock her time as it were it really is just such an amazing thing so in your community in every community across the United States there's east one place that these women can go and pick.
Musical Note Perception Can Depend on Culture
"Music music but what shapes our perception of music to candidates are the limits of the human brain and the exposure. We've already had to music during our lives. If we only test participants with expense with best music than we'd really can't know whether the speeches come from the experience or from the biological constraints psychologists noory Jacoby of the max-planck-institute for empirical aesthetics during the past few years he and his colleagues have visited a remote area of Bolivia took investigate this question so we traveled there by taking canoe ride or it can Cessna plane or a couple of hours track to communities. Don't have running water orange. The CIMINI are an indigenous people who live in the Amazon Basin we specifically recruited participant from the believe in Amazon because this this participant had relatively little exposure to music for example octaves are a staple of western music but Jimani musical instruments don't feature them as an acoustical go phenomenon. An octave is defined as the interval in which the vibrational frequency of the bottom note is half that of the top note. They're considered the same note inactive apart for example Middle C. N. Nine High C. for the study she money participants pence were asked to listen to simple melodies and sing them back to the researchers. This exercise revealed that the money don't perceive tones that are knocked of apart as the same note on the other hand participants from the US did recognize octaves other musically trained Westerners were better at it than those with no musical training ansel Hansel what is exciting years highlights the importance of experience and exposure on the mind the researchers in the journal current biology in an earlier study Jacoby Bubis colleague Josh Mcdermott and his team from mit found that the chimney don't find an unpleasant to hear notes sight-seeing f sharp played together but there are distant Combo. That's particularly grading too many western years. Despite the evidence that experience influences pitch perception biology college is also a factor. Jacoby says the new study also revealed the both Westerners and the Toumani have trouble distinguishing between really high notes above four thousand thousand Hertz even though human hearing goes all the way up to twenty thousand Hertz and that may be because no matter where we're from we hit the limits of our brains before we reached the limits of our ears. Using seabirds to track ocean health
"We have and Roquetas Velarde as she's here to talk about using birds to you understand the Ocean Heinrich Atta Hello Sarah. How are you good? Thank you so much for joining us. What kinds of birds are useful for tracking what's going on in the ocean so I mainly working with turns and goals the but we can use Albatross is's bubis any kind of seabird will be giving you some type of information depending on how they use the environment so they could be telling you things about their prey species so if they you know certain kinds of fish? What else can they tell you about the ocean and the ecosystem they can tell you about whether their prey is very abundant or low usually low ocean temperatures will be the base of more productivity activity and so when the water temperature increases then the productivity goes down so they will tell you about that they can also tell you about pollution either from chemicals or from <unk> plastics like particles that they accumulate in their stomachs? Why is it easier say if you're looking at service temperatures and ocean productivity what why would it be easier to look at the birds rather than say the fish or plankton plight dinner something like that will for example of you want to know something about the fish? Usually you have to go with very expensive oceanographic research trips and if you're looking at the birds and you were at the nesting colony Lonie for example you can count the number of birds that are nesting or the number of nests that are established and then you can also weigh the birds or you can see the clutch size which means maybe they will lay one egg instead stood up two or three which is also indicative of lower food availability lewer ocean productivity these are much more accessible markers of all of these things rather than going to the ocean and trying to find the fish or measuring a lot love a large swath of ocean temperature exactly and if you have a large population nesting in a single island they will be your samplers and they will go out in every direction and they will bring back to the nesting area the information regarding whether there's a lot of food and what type of food varies right. There's also this important link between seabirds and fish stocks. We're talking commercial fishing here. Can you describe some of the past observations survey ships of this connection. My own experience for example is that when I started measuring or looking at the Diet of the birds that I work with they were feeding mainly on Pacific Sardine starting up saga about ninety percent of their diet was Pacific Sardine and a fleet the local sardine fishing fleet was taking a lot of sardines later on the birds started showing less and less sardine in their diet so about in nineteen eighty nine I. I started seeing almost no sardines in their diet and I went to the fishing fleet industry and I told him well you know the Sardinas almost gone and they were surprised because they were fishing a lot of sardine. They we're still being able to get a lot of sardines. The Sardine population collapsed in a couple of years so they're actually not only indicating how much there is but they can be predictors of what is going to happen in the following fishing thinks seasons because they are feeding on the small sardines which are not being fished yet by the fleet in these small sardines will eventually grow up in one or two years. These sardines are also known as Forage Fish. They're they are really a key species. What happens when they're over-fish? Twenty decline will the overfishing of all the forage fish is very important something that is happening worldwide one thing that is very important in about these fishes that they are key species. If we have a the upwelling ecosystems in the ocean that's when cold water comes up bringing with it nutrients and food for other birds and fish yes exactly that's what Edward Enhances the production of phytoplankton and so apply often. There's a lot of species many many species of Blackston those many many species of plankton get eaten by only a few species of forage rich fish like sardines anchovies carrying sent so forth these few species of fish are then used by seabirds other larger fish marine mammals of many many species even giant squid many species. He's so it's their job to turn plankton into meet exactly and that's why it's called the wasp waist ecosystem it goes through this very narrow tunnel and if that tunnel is disrupted then you're going to have a lot of Hungary a big species not able to deal with plankton is those fish are taken by fisheries and they're not taking sustainably then that will disrupt the foot web very drastically so birds are here not only not only is that food web important to them but there also these indicators of when this is happening yes so they're telling us that the plankton is not available through for example Tsk Sardine or northern anchalee or other species has following these birds on their colonies. How does that line up with other evidence like what satellites can tell us? Actually we're trying to do that right now. Many other scientists costs are doing that trying to relate for example the number of birds that are nesting or the breeding success to images that indicate sea surface temperature or chlorophyll concentration. It's turning out to be very interesting thing because it confirms that the CIBA's are actually telling us very interesting information even without having satellites for example if we didn't have satellites we could learn about the state of the ocean just by looking at what the seaward are are doing we have started deploying small tiny radio's on seabirds and that is also very interesting because that will tell us where they're feeding what routes migratory routes. They're following before getting to the breeding colony. What does it mean if their migration routes change or the breeding colony changes position or something like that well the breeding colonies have been changing positions recently in many species and that is a reflection of what's going on in the? The Ocean for example the sears that I work with the elegant turns through the years their nesting area has been shifting north they first established a little colony near San Diego then that colony grew and then they went all the way a close to L. A.. It's about a hundred kilometers in miles. It's about five hundred miles more or less so they're moving north and that has coincided with an increase in the ocean temperatures and increase in the ocean ocean temperatures anomalies in the Gulf of California and that is a reflection of they're not finding enough food where they used to nest in his Larisa where I work. How long have you been studying? These turns forty two years. We need to keep studying these patterns because our life is too short and if several generations of humans follow the studies then we'll be able to find something even more interesting than what we're finding doc. No all right thank you so much will thank you for inviting me for this interview and I hope many people read it here because I think it's good for the public to learn about all these issues and rick head of alarm. "It's just nudity, and it's, it's got its her Bubis who cares shake cared. She deleted her social media. She did that for a tension man. And she's planning to, to. Good luck my one of my friends. What am I best deeds who listens to the podcast shout out to, you know who said that Iggy should join love and hip hop? And I said, no, that's the wrong look for her. She needs to join real housewives of Beverly Hills. Yeah. Because well, I don't want to speak for them. I'm not a person of color, a not a black American, but I would imagine that no matter how much she tries black people won't fuck with her. She needs a wider, and gayer audience, which is the one that watches housewives. Yeah. Anyways segue out of music, and onto my favorite topic in the world to discuss sports. Are we going to talk about Drake? I've got my whole two cents on. All right. Leonard rip. Let's go Drake. He's just a superfan. Okay. And luckily for him. His number one team made it to the NBA finals and he's been at every game Booker, and I were texting about this privately I even mentioned to him that there was one video of Drake literally calling this player. Draymond green look. Dammit, Draymond green trash. He literally said your trash, and then Booker was like, well, that's why they call it trash talk. But, but listen, trash talk and I'm clearly not the sports aficionado, but to meet trash talk goes two ways from player to player and then from Fanta fan, you don't think it's appropriate to boost somewhat on stage. If you paid money to go see them, see difference. We have a difference of opinion on this one. I think if you pay could do whatever you want trash talking is just that that is acceptable trash talking, that's not talk at Holly trash talking about his game. His game is trash is what he saying. But that's just trash talk that's acceptable. I don't like it. Well, I know you don't dream on green himself would tell you. That's acceptable. I think it's acceptable for the players to trash talk each other and for the fans. To trash talk each other. But I don't think it's okay for a spectator to talk that way to somebody that's playing. That's entertaining. You Drake needs to, like slow his role. I mean even the NBA asked him to slow his role and he's not stopping. Look, they created this monster. He has a locker inside of the damn raptors locker room. Okay. So they've created this with him they've given him all this access, and now they want him to bring it back a little bit. But it's good for the NBA. I think the players think it's cool. The Drake is there Drake likes the access. The trash talk is just that it's not over the line here. The funny thing to me is a guy that makes such great music comes off as such a dork. He just seems like such a Dushi dork. No, he's still that guy from grassy. He's just Dushi. There's no other way to say it like I kinda cringe watching his behavior. It's I get it. You're, you're a fan and you know the guys but it just seems.

Deeply because I had a vested interest in who one right back. I had somebody specific to really root for a team to really root for. And now I do root for, for Zach each but beyond that I just how did he do? He ended up being part of a crash that was not his call. Yeah. That's not. That's how that was sad. But no. I mean he was doing okay. He doing, you know, it was like a top twenty somewhere then that happens. You know, crash. I mean that's part of the racing deal. But yeah, I just didn't I didn't watch it in the evening when it was on is part of the race. The race is like the one sport where the pageantry leading up to it. Is more than the racist this morning. That was she was so into the she still ended. I love that part. I mean when when three hundred to four hundred thousand people are quiet simultaneously for taps yet greatest thing ever. And remember, when we we saw together, we went to the Indy five hundred together and we listen to Jim neighbor. Yeah. That was so drunk on China. Remember that, of course I do we cry. Oh, yeah. You can't not feel hugely emotional. You hear that, when you hear the Nash light when you see the flavor when you hear taps, it's all yes. So so you really are crying because of the gin and tonics. You're trying because you're so overwhelmed with emotion for your patriotism, for the for the spectacle, that is, you know, in front of you. And I mean this, I always watch, you know, the first few laps now and then I go, okay, that's right. I mean, a lot of it is, there's the fanfare and the formalities of it are, just are wonderful. "Can observe these behaviors without your presence affecting the behavior. So you got a maid you can look at these marine iguanas that AVI only reptiles feed on algae underneath the water. They look like these like little God villas, and they go to the water, they dive in the ocean, and they can hold their breath for long periods of time. And they feed on the algae and the ocean. And then they come back up. You see them something themselves in rock, and they spit salt water out of their nostrils at these wonderful intervals it's really like a little dragon. Just a wonderful abundance of wildlife that seen nowhere else on the planet. You're gonna love it the nesting what? The nesting Bubis the booby best. No, okay. I know where you're going guys. And as a matter of fact, they actually have t shirts there with photographs of the Bubis right across the chest to say, I love Bubis is that good is that is that pandering to your juvenile sense of humor. Actually, asking the question. Pete you're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead Pete. Hey, Ron our animals gay or straight like Hughes. Actually, you ask a very good question. Homosexuality is found throughout the animal Kingdom, I have documented in various species one of these. I've actually documented here at the zoo is we have a pair of lesbian flamingos and each year. They court each other. They each land the eggs don't have to because they're not fertile, of course. But they love each other. Okay. They're happy together. And it's not because they don't have males available to them that you have males avail. They choose to be with each other. Now, I'm gonna take this a step further. What we have done is. We have taken fertile eggs from a heterosexual pair put it under the lesbian pair. They have incubated those eggs hatch, those eggs and turned out to be excellent mothers. And I wanna take stuff even further than that those chips that they have raised have grown up to be heterosexual flamingos. So I'm not making any type of political statement here. I'm just saying homosexuality is found throughout the animal kingdom and that. Show out of your son Arctic Canova deal this week. Here. You're my feeling. Raindrop dropped top.

Chris stiff who's a lecturer in psychology keele university. Who? Tell us about it. I'm going to jump through the intro bit. So yeah, does it actually Joyce can simply totting up be that life changing. I've been following the con- Mary Methodist pot getting organized for New Year's resolution news resolution enough to two weeks. I still have clean office in my t shirt drawers, and we'll tidy what's more. I felt hugely invigorated by the tidiest base. I've created as a psychologist. I know the scientific research suggests that the effects of tithing may not just be a fad without Kevin considerations. Also could end up making you feel worse. Why the Kamari methods prescribes not just simple tidiness which removes objects from site, but the paring down in organizing belongings. So that you have precisely what you need when you need it. There are several basic concepts in the methods. I tidy everywhere the entire house all at once rather tiding a small bit at a time secondary second tidy by category, for example, Kloesel books. Not by location third bring every item in a cadre together. And discuss what you don't want buck before putting everything else away, full, and perhaps most importantly only keep objects that quote, Spock joy in you when you handled them with a lot of people say is a problematic in racists, because they mock her for saying throw away some books like book shouldn't spark Joyce and challenge you like well, these that translation of word she's saying is it joy. It is a complex feeling of emotion. Whenever okay, but. So he goes on one of the opium advantages to a tidy houses that being able to easily locate things because you less stress, but there's actually evidence that clean organized environments, improve our ability to think, for example, a study of ATP and at the university of Navarra found that participants made more mistakes when undertaking data inputting task in a messy environment than a tidy one successfully accomplishing tasks such as decluttering house also has enormous effect undergo self efficacy. This is a sense that we are competent autonomous people who can learn grow and succeed self efficacy gives a huge boost to our over wellbeing and psychologist of showing that can have an influence in a wide range of areas, for example, increasing self efficacy because the students have been shown to improve academic achievements. It is even been used to Jews Simpson's of PTSD in trauma victims. I guess that's I guess that's similar to all those how to get stuff done books advise on breaking up any tossed into small toss. So you get the feeling of complement bit by bit. Yeah. So when I was in rehab one of the things that. Stuck with me? Not just like loosely throw that in there. But back when I was nineteen one of the things that stuck out. Forever was always used to say cluttered room, cluttered mind, and I love that. Because when I do go, I I do sense when you go into a space, it's open it feels and not cluttered, it feels like it easier to think clearly, and I I like, you know, the people who hide all the clutter and like all the closets and drawers and whatnot. So it looks like hidden clutter. So that was one of the episodes that they tackle kind of it for me. It was more interesting. She wasn't. So it's okay to have stuff behind the door. It's okay. But it's still clutter, and it's not organized. So her whole thing is like you have to be able to see everything in if you're if you're storing things you should be able to store them in plastic and the garage, generally, stay away from plastic and be able to see everything so that you can access it. And that you don't buy more things you already have..

"Last two hours. We're talking with Olaf Danielson on Skype high Olaf how're you doing pretty well pretty well, you're dressed. I'm glad to see that. I mean, appreciate that. Know they'd free. We see assured who knows from the waist down. We, we understand that you like to go birding and we understand that you'd like to do it in the buff nude nude birding. Is that correct? Is correct. Yes. Now, why is that. Well, you know, I can get into the philosophical reasons, but the practicality of it all with sort of an odd, not really a bet, but a an encouragement from my publisher went one day when I was sitting in her office and she asked me what I thought of this bigger movie that was out about five years ago. And I said, well, that's all fine and dandy, but could he see seven hundred forty nine species naked. And then she sort of wrote out a draft contract for a book project and sort of slipped my way. And I looked at her confused and says, I want you to go do a book on this and and spend the next year seeing how many species of birds you can get while you're naked, things people do for their publicist. Yeah, yeah, I'm not quite sure I should have said yes to that, but it was fun and interesting and I met a lot of interesting people. It had some interesting adventures along the way, and that's what life is about. I bet. And we'll find out just a couple of seconds about that. But I think you know, for me. I wouldn't want to do. I just don't want to be in nature naked because I frankly, it birds love worms. Right? I I'm just a little afraid we didn't. You have any concern about that at all? Well, not that particularly, there are some other more pressing concerns. Mostly bugs. Cold came to mind or the authorities such as the police, of course, might be a bit of an issue and. You know, I sort of, you know, didn't really worry about my mother thought or my wife thought, but you know, there's a lot of different things you have to worry about. You know, I didn't really look at any. You know, the birds actually came that close thankfully. But what about you know? You said you didn't care about your mother, you know, but what about other people? Aren't there other people out and about? Well, a, it's sort of interesting of what tolerance people have, especially west coast now, I wouldn't say it's a different set of people in certain other parts of America, but they're a little more tolerant of finding the chance encounter of a naked guy on on a trail in the national forest.
