"I'm like, that is unbelievable that that banner just asked that question. Okay. Still sure if you're starting off your NHL career on the right foot by going after NHL referee, So listen, So, the ref says, the ref says Well, Thomas, you know, we sometimes we miss something. Sometimes we get calls wrong or, you know, whatever need basically, you know, gave a very diplomatic response and he's just basically saying, like we try to call everything we try to call it fair. Um, you know, and you know, if you see something that you know, don't be. You know, you can always approach us or something like that. Well, I think I see that's where we got to get banners. Part of the story After what it What does he say? Because I heard there was a meeting and I've ever say So. What was sadness as he wasn't happy. Well, so fast forward that same game about another hour, Okay? I'm like 90% Sure, it's the same game. But if if I'm 10 if I'm wrong, and that other 10% Vanner Wilkins confirmed this part of the story to this is all the same training camp. He had these Red Eastern gloves. He's coming up in 11. So we're gonna ask him about this. He's ready Sting gloves. I think they were golden goal for gloves. I'm not sure, but he had these red gloves where we were a play where he was playing D one in Minnesota. Yep, he played from he played for many, and they might not have even been golden goal for gloves. But if Regardless. They were red and they went with the red that we're on our jerseys because we were black and red, but our gloves were black with red and white accents, not red and white. So He's told throughout training camp. Get rid of those clubs. Get rid of those gloves. You can't wear them. We're not wearing them. That's not our color scheme. Bubba Bubba Bubba from trainers from players management. So he goes out for his first exhibition game anywhere is the right gloves and the problem with the right So the problem is, I think I think number one he had been told numerous times not to wear them. But number two He scored two goals that came In the red in the red gloves. So now he had to switch the gloves right after scoring, too. So I think he had another meeting about that. Or maybe maybe the raft meeting might have been before the game. The glove meeting might have been after. Maybe they were both at the same time. I don't know. But banners coming up at 11 and I just open the 1st 10 minutes to show with that night. Apologize. Wolf. Confirm all that with him. What do you make of that razor? Yeah, I I always appreciated Thomas for His openness in honesty, and he wasn't those guy that you'd stand. They might not say much and I don't know if he really liked that part of it the attention but he was always honest when he said 100%. He didn't mind and he didn't mind and he Repercussions trouble. As you said from management coach. It didn't bother him. That wasn't him. And you got to respect the guy for that we've had would be chicken shits and not say anything, and I'm sorry. And, uh, just kind of got to go. Well, the thing is Is the other the other part about he's been on before, and I don't want to have a repeat conversation with him. He was on last time and it was he was still play, contemplating playing. It was a year and a half ago, he was on But I don't know if we ever asked him about Ciara. He could not. He hated playing against the day. No Ciara so damn like I remember he would come in after he would say forward in the league. I know, but I was it was it was C. Van Ear's where it hit home with with us because Vanner was fearless, right? So Ciara used tow. He used to go at Ciara. Justus. Muchas Charlie used to go at him and And you know, Thomas was one of the toughest players in the league and not by fighting just by Is his willingness to go to areas and get abused to try to say he never got quoted for that. No, he never did raise good credit for that. Never He never did and it you know, and I think that that's something that's overlooked Litigators in the best net front presence player that I've played with and I would I would go right now and be able to kind of have a discussion slash argument debate. That he could be one of the best net front presence in the last 30 years. Yeah, you need two guys, Dave, and the check I played with and watching Thomas. Well, he played I can name one name One more guy That was unbelievable in front of the net, and I could name one to Ryan Smith. That's a very good one. I was going to go Detroit Red Wings Oh, yeah. Home their home strokes from my Lord. I hated that guy. Everybody hated that guy and he took abuse. So when your dog in a boat being able to go to the front of the Net back 10 15 2025 years ago. You are. Literally going to get physically. Abe used with the rules back then the rules is defenseman Could Flatow cross check? And try and break the spine of the opposing player standing in front of the net, and you were one of those defenseman and I'm not saying one of those defenseman that did that. I think every defense when that was on in front of the net with guys We're supposed to do you cross check to hurt guys, Which makes you what it was. That was the rules back then, and you're telling me rib that as a defenseman, you didn't know where the shoulder pads ended in the pants ended and that the space in between where the spine was available, and I wasn't I would never deny myself the smartest guy in the world. But I'll tell you this when I was standing in front of the net with a forward With his back turned to me, and I see that separation of shoulder pads in his pants. I'm going to drill him right in the kidneys. So Aiken try and hurt him. That's what it was all about. That's what you did back then. And you know what guys like Thomas Vanik guys like you just said Ryan's Med, Holmstrom, Dave and a truck. The problem is Dave and a truck with bigger than everybody else. He was, like, you know, he was giving it back to you, which wasn't good, but you know those those guys that stood in front of that net. They are something special. There's something special because there's a lot of players. They didn't want to go to the front of the net and take that abuse. Homeless for years now, and there's guys that do. No, I want to go the problem, right? You said it, Rob, not me. I'm just saying absolutely nights when you're sitting there, you're like, get in front of the net. You gotta get it from the net, and they want to stand up to the side and Waited there. Stick in front of the goaltender and the guy that's in front of the net. Defending is a skilled defenseman. Yeah, he's not even not even. Ah, physical. Somewhat mean Guy Instigators. Three mean guys here. W gr Sports Radio 5 50, Rob Ray, Andrew Peters, Craig Reveille Mean on the ice. I think we're puppy dogs off the ice. Um Razor. I don't know if you're if you're Following. Really? I mean, I'm sure you are but really, really closely about return to play and and you know, but I'm having. We talk about it every day because it's basically it is the conversation. The EPA and the league are talking and trying to work things out..

"Because it wasn't It had nothing to do with the IAEA's hanging in a black man is really wheeling his car in like, I don't see that it was me. I would have seen it was the garage door when I pulled in. Well, we know that now but there it looks like a noose. You haven't seen the pictures. It looks like a noose. I've seen Dorothy for someone with a very small I don't know. I look, obviously it looks disturbing, I guess, but I think we're so quick to jump to conclusions and let facts come out. And so immediately. Everybody who doesn't like stereotypes plays on a stereotype that NASCAR people are racist. And so that was what dominated the news cycle about how terrible NASCAR is and how races they are. And all they like the Confederate flag and Bubba Bubba Bubba, And so we play the same group that calls for ending stereotypes played to a very Prevalence Syria type and didn't actually do better and rise to the occasion. So that's unfortunate, But there are some stereotypes. That's how they become sterile. No question about this on absolutely right. And by the way, I think we all have them. I think anybody who tells you they don't have stereotypes. They're lying to you because how our brain classifies things, but certainly But the question, But here's the thing and I'll just finish it up in and be done. The fact that we're not celebrating that this was not a noose and instead of garage opener for Baba Wallace is disgusting to me. You have people like Al Sharpton rather going on. Don't know if I really believe it. Believe it power that wasn't installed to scare anybody. It was a garage door opener. I don't understand why we have to keep pushing a narrative What it's dead. All right, So here's the part of the narrative that I think does need to be pushed. A story about an 18 year old girl by racial living in Wisconsin. This assault on her now being investigated finally by police as a hate crime, she was set on fire in her car. In Madison, Wisconsin. Her name is Alethea Bernstein. She told authorities she was stopped at a red light. When her driver's side window she headed down. She heard somebody yell at her something that I will not repeat on the air. And these four white guys in the car sprayed a liquid on her face and her neck and then through a lighter at her, So this kind of ignoramus, it infuriates me. To the point of wondering what you know what happens to you. I didn't even know they caught these guys. S so she was able to put the fire out on herself by patting herself down. But the fact that even happened are the people that air that ignorant in this country? Yeah. Yeah, there are And they really making a batch of the rest. Yeah, FBI, youthful unionizing. The shock of that happening to you Have you driving along in your car?.

S. seven time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson disagrees this is really a personal thing for me I mean I know someone to make a political in in all all these injustices and inequalities that exist to me it's it's kind of simple we start with being kind first and with regard to the Confederate flag and we we we need to keep ministry box and not have them sign in the flag flying in the sky racetracks as for NASCAR's only full time black driver Bubba Wallace calls this a pivotal moments in the sport's history is it allows the community come together as one that is CBS's to re get Duncan reporting

"Enough to listen but not too bored by guys. Bubba Bubba yet will deal. The do help me. Tony, I'm addicted to social media and math, but social media is definitely more dangerous. How do I kick this phone habit? A worry about the meth later, first of all, you might want to start by writing something funny, that's fucking stupid addicted to social media and meth. Oh, I get it. That's hilarious comedy, writing is not in your future. So let's make this real quick here. How about you? Don't worry about looking at everyone's God. Damn highlight reel of all the fun stuff that they think they do, but they don't do you know how many people I know you know, I look at the social media now I married, my best friend, the, you know. Meanwhile, I know thousands of boat, some something else in, in the case that I'm thinking of happens to be a man. There's no judgment, but in the, you know, but then they're on the Instagram they're posting the pictures, you know, we're always never the honeymoon. Never ended. We're in love with eleven. It's just bullshit. It's bones. You what you're looking at is a facade. It's you know, they used to call it back in the old days. The Potemkin village because there was, you know, Queen somewhere, you know, wanted to come look at all her land, and she would flood, she would go down the river in a boat. And they built this fake city on the end of the river because everyone in the God damn country was starving. So they built this. Aac city. They called it the Potemkin village because so she could drive through there and go look everybody's doing great. But it's all a fucking lie. That's essentially with social media's is just a big Potemkin village. It's all ally. So how about you stop wasting your time here? Think about this. When you're on your deathbed. What do you, you know, you taking your last breath? What, what do you wish you had not spent so much God damn time on what you likes you likes in your fans you followers or whatever the hell they are thinking about that? You're gonna have five hundred thousand you can have a million of them. What are you doing with your life? Nothing nothing less, you could monetize that by putting on one of them, string bikinis in, you know, posing over there at the sandals, that's fine. Look, I get behind that personally because I you know, I like ladies form, that's just me. But if you're not, let's say, you're a guy for example, you, one of those fucking guys shrug, who you know, waxes, the eyebrows nothing's, you know what you need to get a fucking job girls. I can give him a pass to you. Do you know listen you got a powder your nose and you look pretty? That's fine. That's fine. You do you thing. But I'm telling you wasting time in your social media, especially you my fucking knees. Jesus Christ you constantly depressed about all the shit that you don't have. Well, here's a fun fact. All those people that you're looking at they don't have it either. It's a lie. Fucking go build your own life. Living well is the best revenge. That's the bottom line. Right. So go do accomplish be better than fuck off. You don't need social media because pop rise is going to be following you around taking pictures for you. So there you go..
Review: Maroon 5's Super Bowl Halftime Show Clung to Stale Notions of Rock-Stardom
"As Facebook post today asking people. Okay, did maroon five really sound bad? Or is it that you just don't like maroon five because I'll I'm hard rocker Rockin roller. Guitar driven stuff all the way. And that's not really what maroon five is all about. And a lot of my friends are the same way. And so the or you just biased because you don't like the music, and it was very interesting got a lot of great. I mean, great response is really insightful responses from people if you follow me on Facebook, you can go and check that out for yourself. What I wanna address very quickly today is this whole like polarizing thing. Like if you don't like it, therefore, it sucks. I mean, this is a problem. I think in our society in general with a lot of things. Politics, which I don't talk about politics on talk. But but it just with social situations. Anything that has happened dating life in general people are like, you know, you know, if they don't agree with it, it sucks, if they don't like it, it sucks if they if they like, it must be great. No, it's just the pinion. And there's a great expression opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and they all stink. Okay. So before you get all Twitter about somebody's opinion resolution opinion, you have an opinion too. And we can all we can all agree. We can disagree agreeably. We and it was great. Because if you guys go back and look at that post, everybody need, really, good points and people different. And because it was an open discussion. And when nobody was hating on anybody. We got to pick out little different things about the the. But the performance that I think we're able to actually come out. Out in a way that we could all kind of think about and I want to hit on a couple of little things in in today's rant rook wick first of all it's a Super Bowl guys. All right. It is not like a concert DVD that you ought. Okay. The the whole thing the whole day at that arena is excuse me arena stadium is designed around the teams playing all that stuff. It's not about the halftime show that I just like fifteen minutes matey of stuff that happens, and it's it's really just a side show. So even if you went to concert, right? The bans on the side stage a second stage right wouldn't necessarily be have their shit together as well as on the on the main stage. So you have to keep that. Mommy, look at something like a super historically most Super Bowl performances have been very lackluster few here and there, but keep in mind, you have to take it for what it is. It's a sporting event, not ROY. Concert. Okay. Bands are going to get on there. Somebody vans can deal with it. Really? Well, other bands get you know, little mind blown because monitors aren't right or they're distracted. God only knows what's happening up. There. Looked to me looks like total chaos. Okay. Also, you have to separate the spectacle from the music some people commented that Adam sounded flat. I don't think word flat is really it. I think he sounded tentative through especially the beginning part of it. And again, I think he was just like it was just they were probably they're probably weirded out 'cause thrown on this stage in the middle sparring things something they're not used to. They'd all what the hell's going on? You can make the argument they're getting paid big bucks, and they should be professional Bubba. Bubba. OA seen bands concerts struggle with things like this over the years. And especially something is is unnerved as a frigging Super Bowl is going to blow your freaking mind. I'm not a big maroon five fan. I bought songs about Jane when I come out their first album, and I was kind of oh, the spans could be enough soulful rock band. But they're gonna go into Todo steely Dan direction, and they went to more of a pop disco kind of direction. If you wanna hear a great disco rock band. Jamiroquai did that ten fifteen years before maroon five and a my opinion that way better that is

"Hey, I'll be Rick and Bubba. And you're listening to w m SR Manchester, thunder radio, Rick and Bubba Bubba. All right. So the predators. Have Ryan Alison the penalty box. He was called nineteen fifty four. John Merrill is in the penalty box for Vegas. He was called for holding the stick at nineteen thirty nine man Nashville enjoying a two one lead coming into this four on four situation. How that happened? Ryan hartman. And you know, what I want to give credit to? Yes on that. He went out and did something. Here's proactive went out made a plays. And then it was beyond Hartman show. And here we are two to one proactive taking care of any acne concerns puck is given over now. Pull back by PK sue van again, four on four. Call bothered on the left board by Colin Miller. Carlson catch the puck off onto a stick cuts in looked at across and not getting a shot. Brayden McNabb predators escape that. Four on four for another minute four. And we have an icing call here against the Golden Knights with thirty seven seconds gone in the period. Trying to regroup hair, and they kind of. Foreign.

"Get to go where Rohan. Hey, now. All right. Well, I guess we're live. Great anyway. You know, whenever I have a guest on the show like this, like material expert it, it's can be really difficult to try to on rap and unfold everything actually, really impossible basically to unwrap everything all in one podcast, but we'll try to make the most sense of it as we go through here. One of the things that really interested me. Well, I guess let me back up a little bit. First of all, I got to say that we were introduced by our good franchise, pull the Quin RIP really tragic that he passed. And I know that you were really close to him. So very sorry for your loss. I, I've known him for a long time as well, but like we weren't colleagues. I didn't hang out with them a lot, but we were friends and you know, the fitness community has has lost a really great person that had a lot of great information. Anyway, you're one of the first. Names that popped up. When I talked to him a probably almost a year and a half ago and said, hey, who should I have my podcasts? And he said, this girl would be great. She's awesome. And then I started watching some your stuff. And one of the things that popped out to me is. You talked about muscle being like this active tissue in the muscle being like an organism that helps your body really burnt sugar and burn calories. And I just don't think it's talked about enough people mention it, but then you'll Bubba Bubba and a skip past. And it's just not. I think that's a big deal. It's a huge deal. Why don't you tell us a little bit about kind of what you found in your practice with, you know, helping people gain muscle, what has been some of the advantages. So it's really interesting when you think about muscle and I practice something called muscle syndrich medicine, and it's the concept that muscle is the largest organ in the body. So he talked heart thyroid, but really muscle just by mass is the largest organ and it's an endocrine organ and not only is an endocrine organ. It is the largest. So when you train your muscle right, it secretes certain anti inflammatory compounds, right? In addition, it is the largest site for glucose. Bozell and we all know high levels of glucose can cause diabetes cardiovascular disease Alzheimer's disease, right? It's.

"How do you, how do you justify that you're giving away you are allowing them to have a way to make up probable? Cost? I, I can't vote here. This is why I don't care. You realize that right guy have zero -bility to influence anything political here or any of the things like that. So that's why I don't care. That's how do you realize I didn't realize that if I was somewhere where I couldn't vote yet. I would be keeping up with the issues and getting a passionate about one side or the other or the other, or the other. I would pick an ideology and I would work that whatever that was at that country. That's what I would be. If if we were in Canada and I was the Mickey Mouse party, I don't care. That's who Welby is the Mickey Mouse party. If that's who I agreed with. Okay. And that's my point is you've got to get behind things even though you can't vote, you got to care about it. Hold on. If you told me if you told me, I don't like this because Bubba Bubba or I don't mind it because blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But I don't mind it because I just don't care about anything. Not a cool answer. Just about this before I actually don't care because I think that it probably does more help to society than harm. I'm all you're one of those greater good people. What is the greater good by the way. See, that's the problem if you can't, if you can't define the greater good, how can you take on the project? I would be curious to know the statistics of how many people like terrifying murderer rape people are put into jail because they're licensed lately, randomly runs versus how many license plates are randomly run, and then somebody's pulled over for fake probable cause and just harassed for no reason. I would be willing to bet you that because there's way more petty criminals out there than there are hardcore criminals were would be a warrant like that out for their arrest. I'm going to say that it probably is more people were arrested on trumped up, probably charge. 'cause then were legit found out, oh, you're, you're wanted. Well, I don't doubt that, but I would be interested to know like what percentage super bad people found. Moderately bad. People found completely innocent. People found at harassed. Versus how many total searches were done. I would be interested to know the cystic. You'll never find them because nobody would ever be honest enough to release that information, but that knowing that would allow me to make an illegitimate legitimate opinion about it. But if I don't have the information to make a choice on how I feel that I'm going to not care, but that's the problem is the only way to know what it is you're asking to know is to give them the ability to do it in the first place. What if after they've done it for a while, it comes back that more innocent people are being caught up in this then guilty people. They're doing it right then what you do and then then what do you do at that point. Then you make changes that don't allow them to do it anymore. You're proven my point. You should have pushed back way back. You shouldn't just keep looking the other way and going. I don't care. You completely miss that her this statistic should already exist because they've been doing this for however long. It's all done on a computer. The statistics are ready exist, but there's been trucks are whether or not you should stop it now or just it's not hurting anything. Then you should evaluate the statistics..

"He was citing a case a legal case by priests for life that made it into the federal court system. The priests said they did not want to pay for abortion abortion inducing drug. That's what the lawsuit said. But these knuckleheads made it up Kamala Harrison's out the speech where they cut off. He cuts off the part where Cavanaugh said, they said Bubba Bubba Bubba. They cut off the days. You get what I'm saying? I know it's confusing. When I say, they said Cavanaugh said they said this. They cut off that portion and just left the rest of the quote making. It seem like Cavanaugh said that this is the kind of nonsense we're dealing with its complete insanity. And the reason is very simple. There is absolutely no popular support for their agenda. They understand that. We are an entrepreneurial country full of liberty loving people who are not going to accept you taking more of our money. More of our healthcare. More of our kids education away. We're not going to accept mounds of red tape. We're not going to accept that ever expanding government. We're not going to accept it. So what do you do you push your legislation through the courts where what do you have to do, folks? What's the difference? You only have to convince one judge. You don't have to convince hundreds of millions of Americans of anything. That's why that's why they're in a complete total panic right now. And they're in. Defcon six thousand four hundred seventy two panic mode right now. Because they don't know what to do. I get. I know I always get emails about afterwards. But it's funny when you say really high numbers. All right, folks. I'm Dan Bongino in for Mark with it. We'll be right back near saddest break. Mark.
