How Joel Dahmen Sees His Future in Golf
"What's your number? What's your, like, boo weekly always said, if you won 10 million bucks, you'd hang it up or tire. Obviously that didn't happen. You made way more than that. Blah, blah, Watson. Bubba Watson said if he won ten times on the PGA Tour he'd hang it up. He's won like 13th. So and two majors, yeah. I don't know if I have a direct number. More have more of a timeline. So I'm 34. I'll be 35 this fall. I think if I can play 15 years on tour, I would give me to basically 45 allow hopefully two kids by then that are kind of in grade school and I want to be their tee ball coach, who want to be basketball coach, I want to be around. My parents were great. They were always around for me. But if I can't live off of that, then I got probably bigger issues in my life. So I just think the other, like you said, you made a good point. There are people that play for legacy that play for whole thing, that major is like, that's just not one. I know, I know what my level is and it's not that top 20 levels. So I'm just going to, honestly, I'm playing out mostly fear of having a job. And so I'm just going to keep trying hard and keep going until I can stack it all up and not have to worry about it really on the back end. I'd love to play champions to where smaller champions are right at my ally. Like, you hang out with your buddies, three, three days a week, sounds like the live a little bit, but I don't really want to go there. So I just want to see kind of how long I can make this thing last, and I believe I have 5 really good years left in me. And then after that, if I could just hang on for dear life and with the purses increased all up on jazz, I'd like to. Kind of just see where this goes.
For Sports Agents LIV Golf Is a 'No Brainer'
"I think I got to take the perspective of an agent right now. Because if you think about this, the age of right, when you're a player, a lot of these high profile guys, they literally are on a leash by their agent. They don't do anything that their agent says not to do. A robot and the best sense of the word, and then when their agent tells them to show up where this, eat that, talk to him, get this phone number, play golf with him, they do it, right? They do it. So a lot of these dudes, especially these younger guys, can get swayed by the agents. So much and if I'm taking the agent's perspective here on Cameron Smith and he's got a $100 million fishing line out in front of him, guess what the agent fee on the PGA Tour is the normal one is. 20%. It's 20 percent. So 20 million dollars of that 100 million would go to this agent. That, that's generational money for the agent. Not just Cameron Smith, so what do you think that agents pushing for? What do you think bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson, all their agents were pushing for? All Greg Norman has to do is get a bunch of agents on his side. That's it. And he's going to have a full roster period. But so that's kind of my perspective on it. I've got kind of an aged point of view at this point with the live because the agents want these guys to take it more than anything. It's the biggest cut in professional sports. There's not another pro sport that pays 20%. To their agents.
Caller: History Shows the FBI Has Been Corrupt
"I just like to point out all of the things that they've blown for years like the pulse nightclub and Omar mateen and his father was an FBI informant and the Boston bombers. The son of brothers with the FBI's gap tips, but lost and ahead of time. And the Parkland shooting and the fake warrants in the state with Donald Trump, you know, and how the Department of Justice found 209 heirs in the 29 5s of warrants to stand Bernardino couple with the ample iPhone. Wallace, there's some 13 ages down to investigate the news news and Bubba Wallace's garage door and don't even start me on Larry Nassar. You know, at the FBI, it's this corrupt as corrupt gets and the whole thing's got to be taken down and replaced with U.S. Marshals and as soon as the FBI gets involved my Jerry and oak ridge come get me guys. You know what? They screw up everything they touch. And I'm sick and tired of hearing about the FBI.
Kevin Harvick ends 65-race drought with 6th win at Michigan
"With time running out to make the NASCAR playoffs Kevin Harvick picked up his first win of 2022 after leading 38 laps at Michigan International Speedway locking himself into the postseason There could be at least 16 winners I mean you've still got Daytona You've got another road course There's a lot of things that can still happen here Harvick drove away from the field in the final stage to a 2.9 second lead over Bubba Wallace Wallace who is also trying to win his way into the playoffs finished second There's a lot of positives in this but I'm a person that looks at the negatives more than positives I need to change the button I want to win so bad And this was the best opportunity Denny Hamlin was third I'm Jerry Jordan
FBI in for a Rude Wake-Up Call Over Hunter Biden Investigation
"Joining us right now is a friend of the program someone who is super smart and does phenomenal research and investigations, Miranda Devine from the New York Post also author of the laptop from hell, Miranda, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Thanks Charlie grot to be with you. Thank you. So I want to talk to you about this story here. FBI, director ray, are in for a rude wake-up call over the Hunter Biden investigation to your latest piece up at the New York Post NY post dot com. What do you mean by that? Well, on Thursday, Christopher wray, the FBI director appears in Congress before they oversight committee and the Republicans there are planning to really grill him on a few very sinister and concerning issues that have come to the fore in the last week. And you probably know already about chuck gresley has had several FBI whistleblowers come to him and give him information that basically the FBI just sat on buried the Hunter Biden information that came out in 2020 in August 2020 when graz Lee and Ron Johnson were both investigating the Hunter Biden and burisma corruption connections. And then again in October 2020, which was, of course, the month that we at the New York Post broke the first story from Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop and October was also the time the month that tiny bubble linsky, the navy veteran and former business partner of Hunter Biden came forward publicly to say that Joe Biden was involved in his family's influence peddling scheme that Joe Biden was the big guy who was slated to get 10% of one of the Chinese deals and that Tony bubba linsky himself had met twice with Joe Biden to discuss these deals. The Latest Update on Eric's Late-Night Talk Show
"About a month back, you mentioned you were working on a TV show. What's happening with that project? That show is a reboot of Sanford and son. And it's not going anywhere. Nobody buys me as Lamont. And I said, what about Fred? He said, we don't buy you as Freddie. I said, what about bubba? What about Grady? I just want to play one of the, nobody's buying it. And so I don't know what's going to happen with that. We're working on another project actually to do a late night talk show. And that, where is that? We're probably going to be shooting 5 more shows at the end of June for that. That's the talk show with Eric when taxes, kind of like a Johnny Carson show. So that's a long story. But that is happening. And I'm excited about it. Yeah.

Bubba Wallace Claimed NASCAR Noose Was Real, Even After FBI Refuted It
"In Northern California. And I love your show. We agree on a lot of things and disagree on a few things. I do want you to know since you're doing a journalistic piece about Bubba Wallace. He did not find the news. There was nowhere around women who found someone on the team in the garage found the news and reported it. So just to keep your most successful not find the news and he did not report it to the FBI, the kingdom. Irrelevant, he kept saying it was a noose. He kept saying it over and over and over again, even after the FBI said it wasn't. He still insisted that it was. So as far as I'm concerned, he's probable and pushing a fake hate crime. Thanks for the call, though, triple 8 9

"Investor trader and you'll survive through all markets instead of just thriving when they go crazy in your favor. That is some seriously good wisdom. I expected nothing less. Thank you for that. And thanks for being here today. It was a great to be here. I'd love to come back again. I hope you'll help me back. Yeah, we will definitely invite you back for sure. Thank you so much. Well, you know, it's funny, we have all these traders on here, and I always wind up back at the same topics. And that's kind of part of the point. All these experienced guys like bob are they've been around forever. They've survived and thrived and succeeded in a highly competitive undertaking. And the wisdom, it's like an iron law. It's like the law of gravity. There's not much in the world, you know, there's not much outside the physical world that is like the law of gravity, but you know the wisdom from great traders is like that, you know, control your risk, don't over leverage, learn to read the market, et cetera, et cetera. It all sounds the same. And that's why I'm going to keep trying to find more people like bubba and getting them on the program because it's something that we can't hear enough of because it's unnatural. It's nothing anyone naturally does. You have to learn it. And if you want to trade, you had better learn it or you're going to blow yourself up. All right. That was great. Okay, let's do the mailbag. Let's do it right now..

"You said 9 months. And I wonder if I could ask you, look, we know you've learned a ton since then. I get that, right? That was a long time ago. But after that first 9 months, what was if you remember and I know it's a long time ago, you know, one old guy asking another old guy to remember. What was that first insight after 9 months? What hit you on the side of the head and you just say, oh, okay, now I get it. Do you remember what it was? Well, I actually do. Is when I learned how to trade some of the arbitrages that are available for floor traders and wholesale traders. Actually, in the options world, we would trade what they call boxes, which is creating a call spread and a put spread that created a box in the in those days they didn't have all these small strikes or $5 wide. And if you could buy a box for less than 5, or you could solve for more than 5, but what it really did is it gave you a better feel for the market. And it gave you more of a discipline to find the best, because basically as a floor trader, you're trying to trade the bid offer spread because your built in edge on the floor was to buy the business all the ask, right? There's many guys I know that did nothing else. They never took any risk. They bought the beds all they asked all day long. They were working, trying to make 50, $60 a trade, a $100 a trade bang bang bang, and they'd make a few bucks and be happy. Versus taking bigger positions and doing some of the arbitrages and creating huge positions that didn't have a lot of risk, but it took a lot of cost to carry of these trades. But that was the beginning of learning because when you learn the direct relationship between all, for example, options and futures and all these other things, it then gave you a much keener sense on market direction as it was trading and where paper was leaning. They call it reading the tape. And that's the order flow. And if you start to see that more clearly, it gives you a greater opportunity to understand the market itself. You trade a lot of options, bubba. I do, but I trade very a ton of options. But not down a day trading basis, but I trade probably 2000 a week, maybe. You know, like trade. I trade a lot of multi leg strategies. I'm one of my big strategies is 'cause I create not only do I have a future sport for you, but I create some synthetic stock using three legged option trades that create that represent the ownership of stock, which gives you much greater leverage. And I use a lot of weekly options to do so because the premiums are smaller. So I tried a couple thousand options a week, but they're always meant for either a week a month or longer because those trades will carry on in the direction of the trend. And of course, my hedging stuff is all done with derivatives, which is, you know, depending on what the market action is. To be lots more options. I mean, but we'll say I average a couple thousand trades a week in options. I see. So above a typical thing that I'll ask like a mutual fund manager or a hedge fund manager, a strict bottom up equity guy who's focused solely on fundamentals is, you know, I'll say, hey, do you care about technical aspects like charts or whatever?.
"bubba" Discussed on Stansberry Investor Hour
"And it shows itself up because it creates typically much more price movement in one direction and much more volume that is usually a great opportunity in which somebody who's willing to step in front of that is gaining the edge on the market. Bubba a typical thing that I've heard from futures traders over usually folks like yourself who have long careers under their belt already. Many of them, we've spoken to quite a few of them on the show. Many of them have said the patterns have changed over the years. Have you found the same thing? No, I don't agree. The patterns are the same today as they were when I started 40 years ago. The difference is 40 years ago, I wasn't trading patterns. I was trading the better offer spread because on the floor, when you're a floor trader, you have no time to get charts. When you become a retail trader, that's all you have is the charts. So you have to, you know, there's a major difference in the two vehicles that you're using. So you have to be prepared to read this in the chart and as far as I'm concerned, the boundaries are exactly the same, and I can prove it. Anytime you want, I'd be happy to prove it for you. But I can't do it without showing you, but if you go back and look, all markets are the same, all patterns repeat themselves. And the shortest time frame always has to resolve itself backwards into the longer time frames. Remember, no trend can start without it starting in the one or the 5 minute first. And it's got to work its way backwards to turn a market in a new direction. So right now, if you say the market is in an uptrend, which obviously you're looking at today, it's probably not too much enough time, but it isn't a general Upjohn. But the downturn has to start first in the one minute, then the 5 and the ten and so on and work its way backwards. I see. So if you're a successful guy, you're successful trader, you've been around a long time. You don't even survive in that business if you're not pretty damn good at it..
ESPN Revives Debunked 'Noose' Narrative in New Bubba Wallace Documentary
"So for those of you who missed it there's a NASCAR driver at NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace So Bubba Wallace and his team they're in this garage in a NASCAR race and I listen let me just be up front with you I'm not a big follower NASCAR I like car race my father used to race cars to race figure 8 but I don't know a ton about it I'm just putting that out there as a full disclosure But I know this story So Bubba Wallace is black so they're in this garage And they see a garage poll Now for any of you who've actually been in a garage it garage poll is relatively uncontroversial thing It pulls the garage close I don't remember what else to say about it For various reasons if you have a garage pole with a rope it is easier to put a loop at the end of the rope Force vectors and pressure it just makes it easier so your hand doesn't slide off the road Now that's not a particularly controversial thing Well the story got out there And Bubba Wallace thought it was a noose It was a garage poll The garage poll had been there It wasn't Bubba Wallace's specific right He didn't own it People go in that garage door race the garage poll had been there for other races at a best because it pulls the garage door close Now the story was debunked as about 46,522 FBI agents descended on the scene to determine that this garage bowl had been there for a while That's not enough for ESPN ESPN's got a movie coming out Bubba Wallace about the noose that wasn't

"Ryan, we are just. Heard you talk about the cinematic level of solidarity being displayed by the drivers of Talladega. But the FBI, at the same time, they're also on the scene here investigating. The hate crime that NASCAR had publicized had told the world about. And the question of whether somebody put this noose in Bubba Wallace's garage, what did the FBI determine there? Well, the FBI ultimately determined and they found a piece of video that backed us up. Was that this was a poll, a rope poll for one of those doors. And it had been fashioned. Into a noose. Would the FBI ultimately determined was that it was not a hate crime, was that that rope had been fashioned into a noose in a previous race as seen a photographic evidence. And so there was no way anyone could have known that his car would be in that stall and tied that not that noose that far in advance. They actually NASCAR went on to look at every single garage stall. At every single Cup Series racetrack and there were thousands of these rope poles. This was the only one that was in that shape of a noose. The frustration I have is that when, you know, when the cretans roll in on social media. And they start calling Bubba Wallace bubba Smollett. Yep. After the actor. Yes, Jessie Smollett, who was convicted just last week incidentally on charges that he had faked a hate crime against himself. And it becomes this thing where it's a hoax, and he did this, and he created this problem. I went from Bubba Wallace, the somewhat favorite driver to the worst hated driver in the sport. Fake news, hoax, all that stuff. I planted it. I was in the garage. I did it. It never stops. The unfairness of it is how suddenly this become bubble losses fall. Right, which is obviously absurd, Ryan, because it wasn't Bubba Wallace who publicized the existence of this news in the first place. That was NASCAR that did that and bubba had apparently never even seen the news at all, but I wonder now when Bubba Wallace shows up to races these days and he's doing his job and this is the backdrop, how is he received? He's booed. Not by everyone. But I think for the rest of his career, there's always going to be a handful of people to boo. Those booze are going to dwindle down just like the protests about the confederate flag, dwindled down to almost nothing. I was at the Daytona 500 in February and it never came up. I never saw a flag, hunter selling and protests and anything about the flag. Everybody's moved on with their life. Let's watch the great American race. And I think it will quiet down for bubba over time. But this is going to follow him the rest of his life. And he's just learning how to live with that. But I also think this is the difference between 28 year old Bubba Wallace and Bubba Wallace even just two years ago. He's ready for this now. You know, he's ready to handle this now. He's ready to take on this responsibility. Sir Ryan, all of this brings us to 2021, finally, here at the end, because it's October of this year. What happened at Talladega this time? He won the race. History made once again Bubba Wallace gets his first career win. He's just the second African American to ever win at the highest level of NASCAR. You're gonna go through a lot of bull put you always gonna stick true to your path and not let the nonsense get to you. Plenty of times where I wanted to give up. You surround yourself with the right people and as long as they say you appreciate. My favorite part of that whole day was about 30 minutes after the checkered flag, I called Warwick Scott. He is Wendell Scott's grandson. And as soon as he answered the phone, he just started screaming. This is 30 minutes later. It could hardly talk, he's such a composed guy. Carla talked to me because he's crying. Just Ryan, Ryan, Ryan, Ryan, Ryan, Ryan, right? Can you believe it, can you believe it, can you believe it? It was finally. And now,.

"I think that so many of us were forced into some level of education and maturity at that point. But Bubba Wallace experienced that on a level that I don't know a lot of people did. Because this all happens at the exact same time that his career is on its trajectory. And so what he wrestled with at home when we were all stuck at home was what do I do with this? And so when NASCAR, which was the first sport to resurface and start running events, when NASCAR showed back up and started running races in the middle of May of 2020, I don't think it was ever a question of if Bubba Wallace is going to do something. It was a question of when he was going to do it and how soon he was going to do it. This is hard to imagine if you're just sticking ball sports fan. But there's a group text of all the drivers. In the Cup Series, all of them. All of them. I mean, and you're talking about just a few dozen guys. Bubble Wallace went to that group text. And said, guys, we have to do something, and he went to individual drivers, who were the biggest stars in the sport and said, guys, we have to do something. And the reaction in the group sex was largely silenced. I had text the top dogs. Once you see winning every week, we had good conversations. And a lot of it was sponsors. Like, it's tough. We can't really don't want us to talk about it. I get it from that standpoint and also get it from the other side of that affect me. I don't have to talk on it. But it's so much bigger than you. So much bigger than your race team. So much bigger than your sponsors. This is about life. And that's what's tough, and they didn't want to speak on that. And so it's just like, you know what? I'll roll up my sleeves and let the rest of us do the work. So the next race ride is in Atlanta. And what is bubble wall is given that sort of a response? What does he decide to do? He decides to bring some t-shirts to the restaurant. Black Lives Matter. I can't breathe. Knowing that I was gonna wear the shirt Black Lives Matter, I can't breathe her. I could feel the whole garage looking at me as I walked through the turn for gate there on the racetrack. Walking down pit road, I thought everybody looking. There was a mixture of I can't believe he's doing this right now. And then there was also a reaction of man I'm so glad he's doing this right now. Imagine walking into that arena with that shirt at that point in time. That kid I've talked about earlier about being brash and always speaking his mind, that's who that guy was. And he was doing it just out of pure guts. I mean, all of this really does seem to come to a head with the conversation Ryan about a subject you've written about a lot, which is the confederate flag. And specifically at NASCAR events, because look, to be blunt about it, you see it everywhere, right? I mean, it's waving proudly from the infield, in the grandstands, right? Outside the tailgating. It was the staple of your sport. Well, Bubba Wallace's experience growing up with it was like mine. You know, I don't like it, but I got to the point where I just became indifferent because it just was kind of in the background. But what he started to realize is what I had always realized, which was this was what was keeping my Friends. That I wanted to love the sport that I loved away. So, bubba takes it upon himself to go on to CNN and says, hey, it's time to take confederate flag down. My next step would be to get rid of all confederate flags. No one should feel uncomfortable when they come to a NASCAR race. So it starts with confederate flags, get them out of here, they have no place for them. And what he said was what so many people in the sport have been thinking for a really long time. It felt like about 5 minutes later. We got to email. I think people wanted to do it. They just needed someone to step up and say, this is dumb, just going and do it. And that's what bubba did. So we have some breaking news in NASCAR moments ago. They released a statement banning the confederate flag from all of its races and properties. You know, a lot of people from all backgrounds all races were like, absolutely amen to that. And then you had the ones that were stuck in their ways that, you know, this is BS. You're bringing politics in a NASCAR. What do you say to people when they say that though? Keep politics out of sports, keep the politics out of NASCAR. People want to make it political when it's just being a decent human. Treating everybody equal. Treating everybody equal.

"So Ryan, I want to go back to last year 2020 now because a lot of the questions about racing and race, they actually started at the beginning of the pandemic when the drivers couldn't race on the track and had to compete virtually in this thing called I racing. So what exactly happened during the April iRacing event? So we're watching drivers play video games. Tens of thousands of people are watching this. Because there's nothing else going on in the sports world. And there's certainly no auto racing going on. And so with so many eyeballs owned this virtual event, Kyle Larson also an alum of NASCAR's job for diversity program. That's right. He's half white half Japanese. A friend of Bubba Wallace's for years, a competitor of his for years. He dropped the N word..
Todd and Caller Rocko Discuss Fabricated Hate Crimes
"Let's go to the phones Rocco and Georgia, a W DU N are affiliate there and a Rocco wants to weigh in on this juicy smooth lay story. Hey Rocco, what's up? Hey John, how are you? I'm well, thank you, sir. Now that juicy has joined the tawana Raleigh hall of shame. Where is when are we going to go after Bubba Wallace? Because he perpetrated same sort of hopes in 15 FBI agents were dispatched to Talladega motor speedway. How much money did that hoax cost? You know, that's a great question. And Rocco, I remember, and again, our listeners may not, especially millennial analog. I don't know what they're doing. I don't know what they're teaching the kids in school. Hey grace, grace, turn your micron. Yes. You know who to want a broly is grace? All right. You see what I mean Rocco? I know. So ladies and gentlemen, a tawana brawley is the young lady, 15 years old, she alleged that four white men kidnapped her and raped her in New York City. Al sharpton is camel really onto the national scene as a result of all of this. And it turned out she made it all up. All of it was completely untrue and she ruined an Al sharpton ruined people's lives and this caused riots it caused chaos in New York City and it was all fake. And Todd, when they Googled her, they'll be a black guy standing next to a Raleigh you probably won't recognize him. He'll be wearing a jogging suit and he'll spot twice the size of Al sharpton. That's the fat Al sharp. Bad out. Yeah, that's fat Al sharpen. Yeah, you're right. To want to probably probably help pay for his weight loss surgery. Well, it may be. That was a lot of money. But to your point Rocco, we have these cases and it's not they're not just random events. But these are fake hate crimes and the media covers this because in their hearts they still believe that we're some sort of I don't know a pre Civil War country.

President Biden, while the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge the jury has spoken. What do you mean you're angry and concert? What are you angry about? What you wanted this kid's head on a platter? Is that what it is? Self defense isn't supposed to be self defense? How about Gavin newsham? This nutcase, governor, America today, he said, you can break the law, carry around weapons built for a military. Shoot and kill people and get away with it. That's the message. We've just sent to armed vigilantes across the nation. You see, newsham, these kooks never condemn the rioters or the looters. No, no, no, no. The guy that had a gun in defect was trying to protect a business and was defending himself. He's the bad guy. Not the pedophile trying to kill him. No, no. He's the good guy. How about governor J B pritzker, of Illinois? This classic. He heard about Newsom evidently instead hold my beer. Pritzker said, carrying a loaded gun into a community 20 miles from your home and shooting unarmed citizens is fundamentally wrong. How about the congressional black caucus? Here was their statement. It is unconscionable our justice system would allow an armed vigilante who traveled to Kenosha Wisconsin and killed Joseph rosenbaum Anthony huber and the wounded gauge grows gross Croix to go free. Colin Kaepernick. He said, well, but I can do you better. We just witnessed a system built on white supremacy validate the terroristic acts of a white supremacist. NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, ha, let the boy be black, he said, and it would have been life. Hell he would have had his life taken before this BS trial. Sad. House judiciary committee chairman Jerry Nadler. These are not insignificant people. This is a very prominent Democrat. He said, quote, this heartbreaking verdict is a miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by the Department of Justice.

"Open, right? Yeah, things like that. It doesn't bother me if they have a better career than me and all those things. I pull for those. They're Friends. And so, you know, I would love to see them win. But I'd love to see them have to wait a year because I beat them. Fair. And what were you saying? Sorry, man, we interrupted you. Way over there in the sunny. I know I'm out here in the desert and three hours behind. But you got a hoodie on your air conditioner must be working. Oh buddy, I keep it. I keep it low in here. You gotta keep the AC low. I just think your whole outlook, you're positive guy right now. Seems like you're in a good place. You got such a good vibe about you. You're doing tours, chit chatting up pod. So it's nice to see bubba Watson in a seemingly phenomenal place right now. It's like, you know, it's just easy to be happy for you, I feel like. Yeah, man, thank you. You know, it is. It's funny, these articles. If you go off of articles and different things, the Internet's not true all the time, but talking. Every time me and you've talked every time me and you've been together, you've said the same thing. That's who I am, right? I'm not faking it. I'm not doing anything. And but yeah, my life is definitely in the right path every day try to take that step forward. And we're doing good. I gotta find a caddy though. Maybe I'll get you to one of y'all to carry for me because I haven't found a cat of yet, so. Okay. We're in. Okay. All three of us. Yes, exactly. You get 6 holes each. Cheers. So you can make it. We'll break it up. We can do a caddy. We could do a caddy competition, so you're like which one of us wins the competition? Because low round or maybe high round because I don't know. I'll change it up. I'm a lefties. We have that in common, but I also have a bum elbow, so I don't know. I'll be able to carry it really. Pull cart, you'll get pull cart, maybe. Yeah. Oh man. Or maybe the middle guy, the low man and the high man are out in the middle guys. Shit. All right, well look, we appreciate it. As always, we got to get you back on over and over again because we love having you. Check out the book, all kinds of good golf puns in there. "When you were writing the book how deep did you guys go into coming up with the puns, the golf puns up and down? I love it. Well, yeah, but that's really it. But truly, because it's up and down, I mean, it is. It's one of those things that there were so many different names I wanted to do and all these things, but up and down, just it made the most dumb stuff. How many names did you have in mind that you went through? Well, I mean, I'm selfish as I noticed in my life. I'm very selfish. Sure. And so I wanted to just say bubba Watson. You know what I'm saying? Or maybe even act like a really awesome and just put bubba, you know? So, you know what I'm saying? That's where, you know, that's the selfish part of me coming up. I like up and down and I also we like the victories and struggles in the course of life. You throw a lot of golf pundits. You know, it's very thoughtful. It's very witty and it's also very impactful. But if you look at it, it was trying to get the golf people to read it. We've got golf, and then you get the other people to read it. It's not just about golf, right? And so you're trying to impact a lot of people, golf fans or non golf fans. You look good on the cover too, man. You do look, you look like healthy, look happy. Right, exactly. Awesome, man. Yeah, no, it was good. It was a fun time and still a fun time, right? Because we're still talking about it. And I get to from now is the fun time everyone's going to be able to enjoy it. Everyone's got to go out and get up and down. Where are we selling this thing? Where can people find it? Bookstores, and we go to Amazon, you go to bubba Watson. Every time. We're everywhere, man. "We have a double interview show, two interviews, one show, been a little while since we've done an interview. We a couple of weeks maybe, but now we're just coming back with two. You never know what the fuck you're gonna get with foreplay. We got myself Frankie Trent, and then we get bubba Watson, and we got Matt every two completely different people to completely different topics of discussion among the two of them. Baba has a book out up and down is what it's called. We get into mental health in the book and bubba and win in the masters are going to Knicks games. And then that average just came in from surfing and was talking about how he sucks at golf now, so he's going to get into TV and how that's one of the main requirements and how he's got a good personality things he'll be great at TV. You know he's two time PGA Tour winner. So you could totally two totally different interviews to fantastic interviews. And I like both these guys a lot, gentlemen. Yeah, a really good mix. Having bubble in here was I mean, I know we do a lot of cool things with this show and on this show and because of this show, haven't bubba Watson in the building is pretty cool. Yeah, it was pretty starstruck if we're going to be honest. We've talked to him already, but when we talk to him, he's obviously over Zoom or whatever we were using at the time. And seeing him in here just being inches away from bubba Watson two time masters champion was very strange to me. Right, like at one point we were sitting in here waiting, and then it's that moment where you're like, oh man, bubba Watson's about to walk into this room. And then he does, and he was super cool and super open and his book obviously he's promoting that. And he was just great. And I also think we do something when we do a regular podcast. It's just us shooting the shit and I think obviously there's a crowd for that. And then when we do interviews, it's a completely different. When they're in studio like that, it almost feels like a mix of both, where they're just joined the conversation. We're talking about the Knicks game last night, and we were talking about him being a Georgia fan, all that stuff and going to Georgia. It's just different as opposed to just being back in New York City and having people here and not over the zooms and over the Internet. It's just so much better being able to talk to people. Didn't it feel just so much more personable this time where you're actually able to see him answer you? And you can see if something mattered to him, he would almost like close. You're in the mix with bubba. It was fucking awesome. Yeah, and we've obviously been doing zoom podcasts for a while now. And because of the pandemic and, you know, now we've got different people on different parts of the country. But then, yeah, when you have somebody sitting next to you, it is different. The dynamic is definitely different..

"bubba" Discussed on Cannabis School
"Welcome to Canada school. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles and I'm Brandon Elder and we're here to talk to you about everything pertaining to cannabis from a fate flower Edibles strains and everything in between Well, it's Tuesday, everybody. Welcome back to the podcast. We're so excited that you're able to come and join us today. You know, we we are overwhelmed. We feel so excited. We're so supported, by off our community and people wanting to be able to learn but more now, they find what we're doing is exceptional. Yeah, we appreciate the listeners, any feedback we would love shared follow like us. That's all we ascribe. So what we're doing here, all right, so the strain we're getting in today. Brandan what are we? What are we going to discuss? Oh, we're going to talk about Bubba. Bubba, Kush Bubba Kush? Yeah, Bubba Kush Jesse. This is a strain. You recently found. Yeah. Yeah. It's it's, it's really good now. I tried it only in The Vape but I know that you've tried. It looked in the flower form and man, I'm excited to be able to learn a little bit more about this. So take it stage. Bubba, Kush, man, like, you know, give us give us the profile. Yeah, of course. So, Bubba Kush is a heavy Indica. It's originally from an l, a breeder. Matt Burger off the 1990s. So Bubba Kush is a mixture of OG Kush and Northern Lights, or a Northern Lights phenotype. Basically, this strain, you'll get smells of vague coffee or cocoa hint with slight fruity undertones? Yeah. Fruity undertones. That's. That's what I taste in the, in the Vape form. But man, I gotta tell you, it hits you right in the head real quick. You know, some strange that I've tried you feel it like hitting the shoulders or a little bit in the face. But this one hits you right in the middle of your brain. That's how I fight in the forehead. I would say, like, right in the middle. I'm sure you could expand upon it, it makes you really chill. So it's really good. I know we've talked about a lot of strains that give you the relaxation, to help with anxiety, but this one is a little bit more focused on that. When you say yeah, with Bubba Kush you're going to feel a lot more relaxed. Happy uplifted in high doses. You'll feel sleepy starts. Like I said in the head and then it'll settle down into your body more. Yeah, I notice that's kind of the best way to be able to describe it would be if you could put relaxation into a giant jug and then slowly pour it over your head and then it just slowly starts to put down your body almost like in gel form. Like, I know that's so descriptive. I was just imagining coffee. As I'm sipping, it going through my entire body. That's how I feel. That's the description you're putting there in my mind. Yeah. Yeah, it's great for relaxing song. Asian and some people suffer from having difficulties going to sleep. I was telling you about it last night, I've been off, I'm going on a break for caffeine for for a few days. And my body is just too much into that one. And I actually had used above Coast last night, just to finally, get me to relax enough so I can fall asleep. So, can you use Bubble Kush to fall asleep? Of course, I mean your experience. It definitely worked for you but other years as well, are using it in larger doses depending on their tolerance that helps them sleep too. It's also used for anxiety. Great for exercise or sexist. It's used for depression loss of appetite great. Strain for a lot of views, and that's a thing too. With cannabis, I would say that the Indica variety pack More geared towards those who are having difficulties with nausea, upset stomach, they've been either, there are certain type of medication, they're on. That's making them feel that way. Of course, you know, you hear about it all the time, cancer treatment with patients, they'll take cannabis what they just so they could be able to eat because it's so rough on the body, but can you speak to a little off on that one? Why do we feel hungry depending on the terpene on the strain? Some of them have cannabinoids were turbines that actually cause loss of appetite. Like this one that typically is Faith. You're not pass hungry. There's other strains that have an increase of appetite. Like you said, for cancer patients. It's a lot more commonly used in their treatment. That way they can actually overcome. The Nosh the painting from chemo so they can still eat and somewhat live a decent quality of life. Yeah, yeah, I like that profile noticed that was certain and we're talking dog. A deep indica and that deep Indica, meaning that it's pretty fast acting almost instantaneous that you feel it in the head. The nice thing is, is it's not a couch locked, strain. It's more of a, you know, you're able to focus have conversations everything like that. It's not one of those strains that makes you become one with couch. It's a great strain to use even in a group home. Yeah, one thing that I have noticed about sativa strains compared to Indica strains is exactly what Brandon brought up the higher dose of a Indica. Strain. I'm going to be a little bit more angry, but on the sativas side and it's different. If, if I have a vape or maybe flower, I still get, I get the munchies a little bit off on a say, like a teacher, not at all. I am one hundred percent. I don't get the Kottonmouth. That's another thing that we should talk about is the side effect. That's very true. Common with any cannabis use which is the dreaded dry mouth. You will get dry. Mouth feels like you have a wad of cotton inside your mouth. Drink a lot of water. It's common. Most people get that. Would I do with Edibles? That's where I fill out a lot is when my edible kicks in, that's how I can tell that it's kicked in. Usually, I don't feel overly. Hi, I just don't feel it, I feel less package. So at that moment I can tell it's kicked in because well one my pains not as high and two, I have dry mouth. So yeah, absolutely suck. When talking about Bubba Kush, you can find this pretty much anywhere. Bubba Kush is a very, it's a very common strain, would you say, yeah? That's why it's Brad. You'll find it all over the US wage. Yeah. Anywhere from if you're listening to this from California mean. Yeah, absolutely. You're being able to find this in a million dispensaries that are there, but you can also be able to find it in Colorado. Arizona wage. You can even find it in Utah throughout the Midwest to Travis legal states through there. There's dispensaries that carry Bubba Kush. It's pretty well-known strain. Yeah, it's a wonderful strain. The tones of that won't take us through that Brandon device, smoke it in the flower form, so it's going to be pretty rough. Bubba Kush is a lot, it's a smooth smooth, strain. The notes are flavors that you'll get when smoking it. You get a little bit spicier. Like peppery, Woody Earthly, with some slight, Coco, undertones, or coffee, undertones, when you smoke the flower and be aware, if you're not using flour, first, which we always recommend, right? Low and slow. But when you're using that, you're not going to taste these undertones I.

So the michelle obama thing. I not heard of that. So i just pulled it up to see a so awful okay. Michelle obama and jill biden booed at nascar race. This was in two thousand eleven verse since i got ladies appeared at the sprint cup. The final race of nascar season to promote their joining forces program or supports. Us military troops in their family does support the military in their family to obama and biden co grand marshals of the race. Along with sergeant. Andrew bear in iraq veteran and his family. The crowd cheered berry but those trips were overtaken by boos. When obama's name was announced biden and obama seemed unfazed and joined berries. Family and kicking off the rationing. Gentlemen start your engines sucks one hundred thousand fans at those things too so it's not like a few few boos it's it's a cascade of booing is so stupid. I don't think i've ever been. I've never booed says a lot about you. If you boo. Now i'm saying them like have. I probably a light because the crowd was doing it. Maybe i did but it wouldn't have been for a person it would've team won t right. That's what i'm i. I like that. I did that. Yeah it's very silly. Very rude cod. Do you wanna tell me about shifter car versus pushing go. Yeah so i could be wrong about this but my understanding is that probably fifteen years ago almost all cart racing was a shifter kart so it had a six speed gearbox from a motorcycle in it as well as a dirt bike. Engine a two-stroke one. Twenty five engine. So you'd shift the gears like in a manual car and the current popular karting series are pushing. Go see you to start them. And then they're automatics but a clutch in there so basically the difference between an you on. Yeah but a shifter kart goes like fifty miles an hour faster. Wow there's so much more fun. That's what i have because you're six gears. Confederate flag was a staple in nascar. I'm really impressed that he was able to. I mean i mean he takes it sort of just like yeah. Just i did what i believe. It just answered questions and whatever but that's hard to do. Yeah yeah when a whole sport revolves around southern pride on there's a symbol of southern pride. Which is that flag. So i think that's really impressive That's the one thing about the dunes..
