The Most Insane Leftist Responses to the Rittenhouse Verdict
"Excuse me, the daily wire. Collected, they listed. We're going to post this, Mike online dot com. The most insane leftist responses. To the rittenhouse verdict. President Biden, while the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge the jury has spoken. What do you mean you're angry and concert? What are you angry about? What you wanted this kid's head on a platter? Is that what it is? Self defense isn't supposed to be self defense? How about Gavin newsham? This nutcase, governor, America today, he said, you can break the law, carry around weapons built for a military. Shoot and kill people and get away with it. That's the message. We've just sent to armed vigilantes across the nation. You see, newsham, these kooks never condemn the rioters or the looters. No, no, no, no. The guy that had a gun in defect was trying to protect a business and was defending himself. He's the bad guy. Not the pedophile trying to kill him. No, no. He's the good guy. How about governor J B pritzker, of Illinois? This classic. He heard about Newsom evidently instead hold my beer. Pritzker said, carrying a loaded gun into a community 20 miles from your home and shooting unarmed citizens is fundamentally wrong. How about the congressional black caucus? Here was their statement. It is unconscionable our justice system would allow an armed vigilante who traveled to Kenosha Wisconsin and killed Joseph rosenbaum Anthony huber and the wounded gauge grows gross Croix to go free. Colin Kaepernick. He said, well, but I can do you better. We just witnessed a system built on white supremacy validate the terroristic acts of a white supremacist. NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, ha, let the boy be black, he said, and it would have been life. Hell he would have had his life taken before this BS trial. Sad. House judiciary committee chairman Jerry Nadler. These are not insignificant people. This is a very prominent Democrat. He said, quote, this heartbreaking verdict is a miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by the Department of Justice.

"Open, right? Yeah, things like that. It doesn't bother me if they have a better career than me and all those things. I pull for those. They're Friends. And so, you know, I would love to see them win. But I'd love to see them have to wait a year because I beat them. Fair. And what were you saying? Sorry, man, we interrupted you. Way over there in the sunny. I know I'm out here in the desert and three hours behind. But you got a hoodie on your air conditioner must be working. Oh buddy, I keep it. I keep it low in here. You gotta keep the AC low. I just think your whole outlook, you're positive guy right now. Seems like you're in a good place. You got such a good vibe about you. You're doing tours, chit chatting up pod. So it's nice to see bubba Watson in a seemingly phenomenal place right now. It's like, you know, it's just easy to be happy for you, I feel like. Yeah, man, thank you. You know, it is. It's funny, these articles. If you go off of articles and different things, the Internet's not true all the time, but talking. Every time me and you've talked every time me and you've been together, you've said the same thing. That's who I am, right? I'm not faking it. I'm not doing anything. And but yeah, my life is definitely in the right path every day try to take that step forward. And we're doing good. I gotta find a caddy though. Maybe I'll get you to one of y'all to carry for me because I haven't found a cat of yet, so. Okay. We're in. Okay. All three of us. Yes, exactly. You get 6 holes each. Cheers. So you can make it. We'll break it up. We can do a caddy. We could do a caddy competition, so you're like which one of us wins the competition? Because low round or maybe high round because I don't know. I'll change it up. I'm a lefties. We have that in common, but I also have a bum elbow, so I don't know. I'll be able to carry it really. Pull cart, you'll get pull cart, maybe. Yeah. Oh man. Or maybe the middle guy, the low man and the high man are out in the middle guys. Shit. All right, well look, we appreciate it. As always, we got to get you back on over and over again because we love having you. Check out the book, all kinds of good golf puns in there. And you get two of them right away up and down victories and struggles in the course of life. So bubba Watson we appreciate you. They appreciate you coming and I appreciate you remotely. Yeah, thanks for coming in. Yeah, for sure. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks..

"When you were writing the book how deep did you guys go into coming up with the puns, the golf puns up and down? I love it. Well, yeah, but that's really it. But truly, because it's up and down, I mean, it is. It's one of those things that there were so many different names I wanted to do and all these things, but up and down, just it made the most dumb stuff. How many names did you have in mind that you went through? Well, I mean, I'm selfish as I noticed in my life. I'm very selfish. Sure. And so I wanted to just say bubba Watson. You know what I'm saying? Or maybe even act like a really awesome and just put bubba, you know? So, you know what I'm saying? That's where, you know, that's the selfish part of me coming up. I like up and down and I also we like the victories and struggles in the course of life. You throw a lot of golf pundits. You know, it's very thoughtful. It's very witty and it's also very impactful. But if you look at it, it was trying to get the golf people to read it. We've got golf, and then you get the other people to read it. It's not just about golf, right? And so you're trying to impact a lot of people, golf fans or non golf fans. You look good on the cover too, man. You do look, you look like healthy, look happy. Right, exactly. Awesome, man. Yeah, no, it was good. It was a fun time and still a fun time, right? Because we're still talking about it. And I get to from now is the fun time everyone's going to be able to enjoy it. Everyone's got to go out and get up and down. Where are we selling this thing? Where can people find it? Bookstores, and we go to Amazon, you go to bubba Watson. Every time. We're everywhere, man. What was just like, 5 tool player over here? Absolutely 5 tool player..

"We have a double interview show, two interviews, one show, been a little while since we've done an interview. We a couple of weeks maybe, but now we're just coming back with two. You never know what the fuck you're gonna get with foreplay. We got myself Frankie Trent, and then we get bubba Watson, and we got Matt every two completely different people to completely different topics of discussion among the two of them. Baba has a book out up and down is what it's called. We get into mental health in the book and bubba and win in the masters are going to Knicks games. And then that average just came in from surfing and was talking about how he sucks at golf now, so he's going to get into TV and how that's one of the main requirements and how he's got a good personality things he'll be great at TV. You know he's two time PGA Tour winner. So you could totally two totally different interviews to fantastic interviews. And I like both these guys a lot, gentlemen. Yeah, a really good mix. Having bubble in here was I mean, I know we do a lot of cool things with this show and on this show and because of this show, haven't bubba Watson in the building is pretty cool. Yeah, it was pretty starstruck if we're going to be honest. We've talked to him already, but when we talk to him, he's obviously over Zoom or whatever we were using at the time. And seeing him in here just being inches away from bubba Watson two time masters champion was very strange to me. Right, like at one point we were sitting in here waiting, and then it's that moment where you're like, oh man, bubba Watson's about to walk into this room. And then he does, and he was super cool and super open and his book obviously he's promoting that. And he was just great. And I also think we do something when we do a regular podcast. It's just us shooting the shit and I think obviously there's a crowd for that. And then when we do interviews, it's a completely different. When they're in studio like that, it almost feels like a mix of both, where they're just joined the conversation. We're talking about the Knicks game last night, and we were talking about him being a Georgia fan, all that stuff and going to Georgia. It's just different as opposed to just being back in New York City and having people here and not over the zooms and over the Internet. It's just so much better being able to talk to people. Didn't it feel just so much more personable this time where you're actually able to see him answer you? And you can see if something mattered to him, he would almost like close. You're in the mix with bubba. It was fucking awesome. Yeah, and we've obviously been doing zoom podcasts for a while now. And because of the pandemic and, you know, now we've got different people on different parts of the country. But then, yeah, when you have somebody sitting next to you, it is different. The dynamic is definitely different..

"bubba" Discussed on Cannabis School
"Welcome to Canada school. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles and I'm Brandon Elder and we're here to talk to you about everything pertaining to cannabis from a fate flower Edibles strains and everything in between Well, it's Tuesday, everybody. Welcome back to the podcast. We're so excited that you're able to come and join us today. You know, we we are overwhelmed. We feel so excited. We're so supported, by off our community and people wanting to be able to learn but more now, they find what we're doing is exceptional. Yeah, we appreciate the listeners, any feedback we would love shared follow like us. That's all we ascribe. So what we're doing here, all right, so the strain we're getting in today. Brandan what are we? What are we going to discuss? Oh, we're going to talk about Bubba. Bubba, Kush Bubba Kush? Yeah, Bubba Kush Jesse. This is a strain. You recently found. Yeah. Yeah. It's it's, it's really good now. I tried it only in The Vape but I know that you've tried. It looked in the flower form and man, I'm excited to be able to learn a little bit more about this. So take it stage. Bubba, Kush, man, like, you know, give us give us the profile. Yeah, of course. So, Bubba Kush is a heavy Indica. It's originally from an l, a breeder. Matt Burger off the 1990s. So Bubba Kush is a mixture of OG Kush and Northern Lights, or a Northern Lights phenotype. Basically, this strain, you'll get smells of vague coffee or cocoa hint with slight fruity undertones? Yeah. Fruity undertones. That's. That's what I taste in the, in the Vape form. But man, I gotta tell you, it hits you right in the head real quick. You know, some strange that I've tried you feel it like hitting the shoulders or a little bit in the face. But this one hits you right in the middle of your brain. That's how I fight in the forehead. I would say, like, right in the middle. I'm sure you could expand upon it, it makes you really chill. So it's really good. I know we've talked about a lot of strains that give you the relaxation, to help with anxiety, but this one is a little bit more focused on that. When you say yeah, with Bubba Kush you're going to feel a lot more relaxed. Happy uplifted in high doses. You'll feel sleepy starts. Like I said in the head and then it'll settle down into your body more. Yeah, I notice that's kind of the best way to be able to describe it would be if you could put relaxation into a giant jug and then slowly pour it over your head and then it just slowly starts to put down your body almost like in gel form. Like, I know that's so descriptive. I was just imagining coffee. As I'm sipping, it going through my entire body. That's how I feel. That's the description you're putting there in my mind. Yeah. Yeah, it's great for relaxing song. Asian and some people suffer from having difficulties going to sleep. I was telling you about it last night, I've been off, I'm going on a break for caffeine for for a few days. And my body is just too much into that one. And I actually had used above Coast last night, just to finally, get me to relax enough so I can fall asleep. So, can you use Bubble Kush to fall asleep? Of course, I mean your experience. It definitely worked for you but other years as well, are using it in larger doses depending on their tolerance that helps them sleep too. It's also used for anxiety. Great for exercise or sexist. It's used for depression loss of appetite great. Strain for a lot of views, and that's a thing too. With cannabis, I would say that the Indica variety pack More geared towards those who are having difficulties with nausea, upset stomach, they've been either, there are certain type of medication, they're on. That's making them feel that way. Of course, you know, you hear about it all the time, cancer treatment with patients, they'll take cannabis what they just so they could be able to eat because it's so rough on the body, but can you speak to a little off on that one? Why do we feel hungry depending on the terpene on the strain? Some of them have cannabinoids were turbines that actually cause loss of appetite. Like this one that typically is Faith. You're not pass hungry. There's other strains that have an increase of appetite. Like you said, for cancer patients. It's a lot more commonly used in their treatment. That way they can actually overcome. The Nosh the painting from chemo so they can still eat and somewhat live a decent quality of life. Yeah, yeah, I like that profile noticed that was certain and we're talking dog. A deep indica and that deep Indica, meaning that it's pretty fast acting almost instantaneous that you feel it in the head. The nice thing is, is it's not a couch locked, strain. It's more of a, you know, you're able to focus have conversations everything like that. It's not one of those strains that makes you become one with couch. It's a great strain to use even in a group home. Yeah, one thing that I have noticed about sativa strains compared to Indica strains is exactly what Brandon brought up the higher dose of a Indica. Strain. I'm going to be a little bit more angry, but on the sativas side and it's different. If, if I have a vape or maybe flower, I still get, I get the munchies a little bit off on a say, like a teacher, not at all. I am one hundred percent. I don't get the Kottonmouth. That's another thing that we should talk about is the side effect. That's very true. Common with any cannabis use which is the dreaded dry mouth. You will get dry. Mouth feels like you have a wad of cotton inside your mouth. Drink a lot of water. It's common. Most people get that. Would I do with Edibles? That's where I fill out a lot is when my edible kicks in, that's how I can tell that it's kicked in. Usually, I don't feel overly. Hi, I just don't feel it, I feel less package. So at that moment I can tell it's kicked in because well one my pains not as high and two, I have dry mouth. So yeah, absolutely suck. When talking about Bubba Kush, you can find this pretty much anywhere. Bubba Kush is a very, it's a very common strain, would you say, yeah? That's why it's Brad. You'll find it all over the US wage. Yeah. Anywhere from if you're listening to this from California mean. Yeah, absolutely. You're being able to find this in a million dispensaries that are there, but you can also be able to find it in Colorado. Arizona wage. You can even find it in Utah throughout the Midwest to Travis legal states through there. There's dispensaries that carry Bubba Kush. It's pretty well-known strain. Yeah, it's a wonderful strain. The tones of that won't take us through that Brandon device, smoke it in the flower form, so it's going to be pretty rough. Bubba Kush is a lot, it's a smooth smooth, strain. The notes are flavors that you'll get when smoking it. You get a little bit spicier. Like peppery, Woody Earthly, with some slight, Coco, undertones, or coffee, undertones, when you smoke the flower and be aware, if you're not using flour, first, which we always recommend, right? Low and slow. But when you're using that, you're not going to taste these undertones I.

Oh i don't know what kind of archetype is brooding vampire and he turns bad because they have sex. It's always there's always metaphors for any who well molars walls. Okay bubba soon. So the michelle obama thing. I not heard of that. So i just pulled it up to see a so awful okay. Michelle obama and jill biden booed at nascar race. This was in two thousand eleven verse since i got ladies appeared at the sprint cup. The final race of nascar season to promote their joining forces program or supports. Us military troops in their family does support the military in their family to obama and biden co grand marshals of the race. Along with sergeant. Andrew bear in iraq veteran and his family. The crowd cheered berry but those trips were overtaken by boos. When obama's name was announced biden and obama seemed unfazed and joined berries. Family and kicking off the rationing. Gentlemen start your engines sucks one hundred thousand fans at those things too so it's not like a few few boos it's it's a cascade of booing is so stupid. I don't think i've ever been. I've never booed says a lot about you. If you boo. Now i'm saying them like have. I probably a light because the crowd was doing it. Maybe i did but it wouldn't have been for a person it would've team won t right. That's what i'm i. I like that. I did that. Yeah it's very silly. Very rude cod. Do you wanna tell me about shifter car versus pushing go. Yeah so i could be wrong about this but my understanding is that probably fifteen years ago almost all cart racing was a shifter kart so it had a six speed gearbox from a motorcycle in it as well as a dirt bike. Engine a two-stroke one. Twenty five engine. So you'd shift the gears like in a manual car and the current popular karting series are pushing. Go see you to start them. And then they're automatics but a clutch in there so basically the difference between an you on. Yeah but a shifter kart goes like fifty miles an hour faster. Wow there's so much more fun. That's what i have because you're six gears. Confederate flag was a staple in nascar. I'm really impressed that he was able to. I mean i mean he takes it sort of just like yeah. Just i did what i believe. It just answered questions and whatever but that's hard to do. Yeah yeah when a whole sport revolves around southern pride on there's a symbol of southern pride. Which is that flag. So i think that's really impressive That's the one thing about the dunes..

"Yes super cool. Yeah i've gotten to know. Jimmy obviously race for kyle busch and the truck series. Kevin harvick has been a big supporter of mine. Do you know matt craft. And now that. I'm seeing your goal craft and yeah absolutely we go way back. We're on the dunes together. All the time oh cool. that's awesome. Yeah we have the same kind of sand rail. Tatum and he runs the nascar motor in his fucking. Which so oh yeah. He's got yeah he's got it all you know. He's been doing that for a long time. he's always asked. Hey you need to come out and enjoying the dunes. So i may have to take him up on that one day. It is the most fun you can have okay so now a couple of cool things that well let's get into some of the ways that they're evolving. Thank god outside of just adding road courses and whatnot. The most recent thing that happened was they finally said no confederate flags at the races anymore. That was just a week ago. Maybe almost a year ago. Oh i watched the race day. And i felt like it was brand new so it was a year ago. So what happened at martinsville and martinsville was two weeks ago and so they could have been talking about our tom or we were here at martinsville for the first time last year. That's when everything happened so that can be that. Yeah i have to imagine your presence. There has something to do with that. Yeah i mean. I ultimately called nascar to get rid of the flyer. Yeah i feel like you're in a really of all the sports that you would want to be vocal about. Blm lewis hamilton is very very vocal about blm gets to be very supported. It's not that big of a swing in formula one to take that position. But nascar is a southern tradition. There's never been a per-capita flag. Flying event that had as many confederate flags is probably previous nascar races. and so. you're in a very precarious situation to be vocal about your beliefs. Because i think the base generally is on the other side of that argument or at least traditionally has been when you've thought about being vocal and you thought about the risk you'll take on which again is so much more significant than doing it in the nba. Doing it anywhere. I would argue. What you where you're doing. It is probably the hardest place to do it. Yeah what's that risk reward analysis look like in your head. I don't know if there's much risk. Yeah you're gonna lose some fans but so be it The reward is revolutionizing the sport and changing for the better. But that's huge. That's going to be much bigger than any race win on that. I'll have and accepting. That is huge. Yeah now before last year before. All that stuff went down. I was getting introduced a bubble wallace driver of the forty. Three getting a decent amount of cheers and it was cool. Yeah now i'm right up there with kyle busch sometimes more than kyle busch than than on the booze and i haven't even done anything on track to piss anybody off and so it's i feel like it's more on a personal level like personal hatred that people it's not like kyle busch his attitude sometimes as people give him crap for that. Yeah sure i'll have said was. Hey let's get rid of confederate flag in sort allowing people and all of a sudden. I'm getting more boost. So that comes from personal hatred. I feel. that's just for me speaking yet. Now i imagine you were probably at the race that michelle obama came out. Everyone booed ria that race. No.
Why Public Health Communications Are an Utter Disaster
"I'm jordan heath rawlings. This is the big story. Matt gurney is a columnist with tv ontario and with the national post he writes a newsletter called code. Forty seven which you can find on sub stack. Hey matt hey good here. thank you so much. if. I had to ask you to describe canada's public health communication during this pandemic in one word. What would you come up with bad. And if you allowed me more words and if this was not family friendly podcast i could add at least one qualifier before bed but for our purposes now bad will do what are the hallmarks of again just for everybody listening. Who who didn't get it from the insurer. We're not talking about specific policy today. We're talking about how that policy's been communicated To the public what makes for bad public communication. I think maybe it's easier to answer the question in the reverse what what makes for good bubba communication which is Clarity accessible language free of jargon are strong communicators. Whoever your chosen person is doesn't have to be the policymaker doesn't have to be the expert but there needs to be someone who's actually communicating the policy in a way that they are comfortable with it. I mean even if they're not themselves an expert there are. There are many good communication professionals in this country who who are not originally either by by workplace experience or education actually experts in the topic but they they learn they mastered so. I would say it's clarity. It's simple language. It is consistency. There are complications. Are come into it because we were. We live in a big diverse country right. And then you kind of have to figure out okay. Having communicated effectively english and french then we gotta go out and start getting these Messages out to people who are new canadians and speak other languages. But even in in the core official languages we have not been clear. We have not been consistent. We have not had effective communicators. Actually doing the job of the communication
European MPs Targeted by Deepfake Video Calls
"Someone impersonating a spokesman for imprisoned russian opposition figure alexander navalny conducted zoom meetings with european parliament members. The sessions featured. What the guardian and nl times called a deepfake video call purporting to be volley associate leonid volkov which volkov himself said looked pretty convincing. Speculation about responsibility for the incident has focused on vo van and lexus. Two well-known russian prank callers pranksters and such nuisance. Humorous are known. The incident is of course troubling for coming at a time when navalny is imprisoned and on a life threatening hunger strike and it's worth noting that relatively senior political officials were taken in by the scam but to place it in perspective. This is more shock jock stuff than it is a spore of new and devilish lena. Various approach to disinformation technically. It's a cut above the kind of jerk who had called the live news coverage to holler bubba buoy during the slow motion. Chase of oj. Simpson's bronco down the four zero five in los angeles but let's keep it in perspective. The lesson is that video that appears genuine alive call need not be and that some authentication beyond look and feel is necessary but we already knew that it's even become atropine gag insurance commercials where there's a guy video conferencing with his move colleague and so forth. At any rate on balance not very funny and vo von alexis themselves aren't novices. We note. they pranked to name. Just three sir. Elton john the duke of sussex and senator bernie sanders but of their targets have been critics of the russian regime. Mr putin himself has not been pranked and seems unlikely to be
Why Is Bubba Wallace so Confident?
"Bubba. Wallace is on. And he. Rates the season. So far driving for denny hamlin and michael jordan in that twenty three car. I had high expectations going in the martinsville because the success there and how well i've run there in the past and how well twitter has run there. We just kinda miss sometimes going into these next fourteen races in a row that we have Let's see what happens. I know we're going to run top. Twenty hopefully fifteen and start breaking down the top fifteen barrier and and consistently get there. Then start so people are way there. It's only a matter of time. We're we're hitting all fall ciller. Cylinders aren't firing at the same time. But we're getting all they're all kind of sporadic so it's like once we get that doubt and there's a lot of potential of his team act. Continue to say that like that's that's one of the most exciting things as can be this weekend. Yeah finishes could be a couple of spots or overcooked it all together. We're figured out what we need to secure those fox earlier in the race and go five something much greater than what we have been so You know we're only increases in and no one's right. The ship yet for our team in they still have our kinks ironed out and little things that are holding us back you bunch of little things. Add up to one big thing. So we'll be just
Kelly Loeffler sells stake in WNBA team after clashing with players over Black Lives Matter
"We have exciting news in the wnba. That kelly lafler has exited the building. Bob bub-bubba i feel like we should have celebration. Music will and even better a you. Part of that ownership new ownership group includes montgomery has an actual wnba player. And you know who has a podcast in who is a somebody who's been a real voice on issues equity all summer and beyond you know well into the past tradition in a history of ad. I think that's important because it means that the the voice of anti black lives matter is now being replaced by someone who can fully embody the spirit and direction of the wnba. I could not agree more and the power that the wnba has had. I mean we talk about when we talk about you know leading the movement. The black lives matter movement. We talk so often about the nfl or the nba. But really the wnba. And we've said this before. I mean they started this movement. Back in twenty fifteen in the sports world and You know they basically made raphael warnock. Who's now a us. Senator a player in this when they all wore those warnock shirts i think at that point he was voting. Nine percents Who pulling at nine voting. He was polling at nine percent And he wound up winning. And i think that the power that these women have in the way that they have used their platform for good and for inclusion and equity and making the world. A better place is something. That is such a tonic. To see it what we've gone through the past four years so i i'm thrilled to see it. I'm glad kelly law is out of the wnba. Imagine playing for someone who denies that your skin color that you as a human being matter. I mean she you know she tried to parse it a little bit more subtly than that she was talking about she would talk about the black lives matter organization as opposed to the concept of black lives mattering and i think she did that deliberately so that she could say things like i mean she said some really you know i i would say pretty crazy or just you know in such bad faith things such as that black lives matter doesn't want jesus in the church in you know that's just the tip of the iceberg and it just is so deeply offensive to people who are deeply committed attack but what i love about the wnba an and the way that they inserted themselves into those georgia senate races is that you now have a group of predominantly black women who are somewhat responsible for having a black vice president have to go into the senate to break a tie yet and that is i mean i just. I love the way that that is an expression of power but this is not over in georgia is already passing some legislation to make it more difficult to vote did particularly pinpoint Practices that black communities have used to get out the vote like souls to the polls closing the ability of pulse be open on sundays in the future and kelly law flir is not exiting from politics. She is actually spearheading some of those georgia movements to make voting more difficult for community of Communities of color. And so i you know this is. This is going to be interesting because it's you know this is not the credit should not be rolling here. This is still a very a live issue for georgia and for the rest of the

"Maria go. Bum is that we are talking about georgia. Yeah georgia as a state. That activists were saying forever like joe. It's right here it's happening. And all highs of the country and frankly of the world are on georgia and it's not just because the state flip blue for the first time since nineteen ninety two. I mean history right there. It's because of the runoff elections. So i in an early december run off. Democrat debra gone silent already has defeated prosecutor. James chaffin for district attorney in athens georgia becoming the first latina. This is deep to be elected. Da in the state. That's deep deep. Cut that right there. Athens georgia first latina. Da in the state deep and coming up on january fifth. There are three more runoffs. Okay you thought it was one. It's three more so there's gop incumbent. Lauren bubba macdonald who's up against democrat. Daniel black men for public service commission so don't dismiss that it may seem like a small thing it isn't and of course there are two senate races democrat raphael warnock versus republican incumbent. Senator kelly leffler and democrat john also versus republican incumbent. Senator david purdue as you know everybody knows now about senate politics numbers everybody. If the democrats get these two wins they democrats will have control of the senate which will change everything it would really i mean. I can't even imagine what that's like so on sunday night wore knocking leffler participated in a debate hosted by the atlanta press club. So let's take a listen to the clip from the warnock leffler debate. If you want to know who informs me and my sense of how we engage as people in the economic system You need look no further than matthew twenty five. I'm a matthew twenty five christian. That's what i am. I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was sick and you visited me. Love your neighbor and for me. That means you don't get rid of your neighbors. Healthcare particularly in the middle of a pandemic. Greg respond go ahead. I'm not going to be lectured by someone that uses the bible to justify abortion to attack our men and women in the military. You know what's happening here is someone who will not own up to their own record of division. He has called on americans to repent for their worship of whiteness. that's divisive that's hurtful he's celebrated jeremiah anti-semites he's actually called israel an apartheid state. That is wrong for america. And i'm going to continue to make sure georgians understand that. That is him in his own words. Please respond to the abortion issue in particular. Well listen i. I have a profound reverence relief and an abiding respect for choice. The question is whose decision is. And i happen to think that a patient's room is too small a place for a woman her doctor and the us government. I think too many people in the room. But those who are concerned about life. And i certainly am ought to be focused on the incredibly high rates of infant mortality and maternal mortality in our country when compared to other developed nations. That's something the government could work on. And i've been working on it my entire career. Alrighty there you go that's one. That's a georgia debate right there. Oh yeah it was what i'm saying. All right so on the other hand Someone just didn't show up purdue just didn't show up so did that thing where there was an md. Chirp basically your podium normally the round where candidates question each other since senator produce climbed to participate. Jon ossoff you may ask the question that you would have asked him and answer that question yourself. You have ninety seconds. I appreciate that well. It's a strange situation to be asking. A question of a sitting. United states senator. Who is not here to debate as he asks for the votes of the people to be reelected

"Are you with those that think? BUBBA was playing the victim card, or is this not even still a bad look for Nascar your turn away. Let's get to the cost George Rusty in Kentucky. What are you to say? Hey, what's up I? Show every day. Love what Y'all been. Thank you man, thank you. Definitely did not. Look for BUBBA. He believed the guy on his. Dislike anybody in any team sport. What do most of the time? I do think nice car. Come out of this with a little bit egg on their face, even though they're making all these great changes. Just because they. They orchestrated this whole big. Parade before they even made it on their own investigation to get done. This was something that could have waited till next week's race at Pocono when they had more information on hand. But but I feel like they kind of tried to push this whole. We're changing, and and but it's going to be our spokesman for it to the forefront before they had the information that they needed. Not It looked at. That's true. You can't deny that I think it looks good because their intentions were pure. But. Yeah, there's no doubt that you can. Some people are going to look at it as they rush George. Yeah. I think that if you feel like that, you have A. When you consider the. Death threats that he had been receiving after the confederate flag. Thing that if you look at it and say what was NASCAR being proactive to keep his safety, then, yes, you can understand why they would have wanted to do it to see if safety was even in jeopardy, but I do agree with the caller, and maybe you should have done your own internal investigation I, but but but this is one of those things that when it hits. Hits the media a lot of times that it gets you know it gets magnified and amplify because this could have literally been a person from NASCAR, saying okay, we're going to investigate this and then a reporter here is about it, and then somebody else wants to make sure that they have the scoop to their reporting the news, and then all of a sudden it spread like a wildfire, which was I don't believe which was Nascar or Bubble Wallace's intention because you do want to know. Who, who and where and what happened? Before you go to pointing fingers and all that stuff, because black people have been a victim of that for a long time and think that it is important to always be cautious. When comes to that?.

"And granted. I will agree that this is the optimal scenario for NASCAR, because if one of their own because it could have only been one of their own, and you and you. It. Would have been somebody most likely in that parade yesterday. Right and that would have been the ultimate disaster for NASCAR and now you're going to have people standing on the top rope saying. Oh, he's A. He's a fraud. This is left. This is a left liberal. Fake News and it's like no. No I. If if there's smoke, there's usually fire, and it's a good thing that this time that there was no fire and the other thing. Is this like I watching that event yesterday? When they pushed Bubbas car and everybody was walking beside him. It was a great emotional event you saw he was crying after understandably I mean that's a really emotionally. However. It's also a bit awkward for Bubba. Like because when you're singled out like that, even in something positive and it was great again. It was very good nothing negative about it. But it still is awkward because you don't want to be viewed as a charity case. You know you don't WanNa? Be since I've been the only black guy around a bunch of white people. And you don't WanNa. Be viewed as the Black Guy. You know what I mean singled out as the Black Guy. You're proud to be black and all that. But YOU WANNA. Be Accepting. Yeah, you don't want to be. Like. Right, and then it could've easily been taken that way yesterday with Bubba and I thought he handled it well and. So I you know with class and with grace, and you know he, he went to the black fans in the in the grandstand, and saluted them, and so I thought he handled it well, but nobody would. George WanNa put as great as it was. That's not necessarily a situation you want to put yourself in. Your everybody's celebrating you because you won the race, or because you would have driver two year something like that, but just because you're black. No. That's not really what anybody wants so. Another big winter storm brewing in the northwest all of that and more, including Mr. Motor cO tonight at this America's trucking network, and let's get things started with your industry headlines today and on Friday, we always like to start with the oil markets WTI off eight cents there's past day finishing the week at fifty two dollars and seventy two cents. WTI was actually off four point six percent for the entire week. That's at steepest loss of the year. So far Brent was up fifty one cents this past day finishing the week. Get sixty two. Dollars fourteen cents. There's a couple of concerns weighing on the markets mind. First off the continuing trade dispute between the United States and China. It doesn't seem to be any closer to being resolved. And the March first deadline is fast approaching adding to demand that concerns the European Commission sharply cut its forecasts for euro-zone economic growth due to global trade tensions and an array of domestic challenges in another factor weighing on oil prices this week was a stronger dollar. Consequently, there was doubt pressure on the price of a barrel of oil. And for the end of the week truck. Drivers you're paying about two dollars and ninety seven cents on average for a gallon of on highway diesel, California has petitioned the US court of appeals in the ninth circuit asking it to overturn the federal motor carrier safety administration's recent decree that the state cannot enforce its rest break and meals. Roles against truck drivers the FMCSA determined that. California's law is and we quote incompatible with federal regulations and causes a disruption in interstate commerce. In addition, the confusing and collect conflicting requirements are overly burdensome for drivers and reduced productivity. Increasing costs for consumers. Additionally, safety issues have likely resulted from the lack of adequate parking solutions for truck drivers in the state of California now, California turned right around and its petition to the night court and argued that its rules are general background labor standards rather than a specific regulation of motor carriers. And this is not subject to FMCSA's jurisdiction. Teamsters have also joined in on the issue having filed a seat sutra lawsuit rather to maintain California's rules well on Thursday, the house transportation and infrastructure committee held a hearing about infrastructure funding. Among the many recommendations, the most popular was increasing the fuel tax now. And paving the way for a vehicle miles traveled tax in the future. Now, there are several bills in congress to address our infrastructure funding needs estimated at two trillion dollars over the next ten years. One of those bills will provide five hundred billion dollars for infrastructure by indexing the gas and diesel tax meaning when the price of gas and diesel goes down your tax burden will go up when the price of gas and diesel tack diesel calls up the tax will go down. So it'll be a sliding scale. But the lawmakers on Capitol Hill feel like that might be one way that we can at least bring a five hundred billion dollars into the mix for infrastructure improvements. You've all heard of EMT it is in effect in some other countries around the.
