"For a lehner life and doing so small business. Working really hard to elevate play. Welcome back we all knew that you know who was not going to go quietly. But it won't stop the country and the world from entering a whole new era once. He gets out the house joining hot topics to talk about this. Joe oh my god. I'm so sorry. I just had a had a flash of you all talking about this for the last four years anyway. My bad the author of the new book saving freedom scarborough and co host. Mika brzezinski there with us this morning good morning. Welcome to morning. So yesterday was the tale of two press conferences. Then was that brian. Press conference is first slate of cabinet picks and then you know who would his big baby act who took the mic for an impromptu briefing which lasted sixty four seconds. Apparently what is happening. What is happening now. What's happening is exactly what we knew was going to happen. And donald trump is continuing to perform his shock opera. This is sort of. The finale is not a grand finale with more like a law long maybe so and the comments from the the people in the white house press corps afterwards. Where a lot. Like george w bushes after the inauguration said that was some strange stuff watch asset the word. But but you know there's nothing he can say. There's nothing that he's going to do that. Can stop the inevitable. Which is a emailing people voted for. Joe biden joe buying one over three hundred electoral votes. So he's gonna be the next president united states and i think the best thing we can all do is focus on what's relevant. That is what the next administration is to look like and so forth oil. A lot of the pixel awfully greg biden introduced members of his cabinet yesterday. It was truly a moment that reminded you of what this country was all about. So okay joe are you. Are you surprised so many of your republican colleagues have stayed mute while the president tries to undermine democracy even now there are only a few willing to call biden. president-elect. I mean how quickly will tune change once he takes office. Do you think fairly though it. We once again. Find yourself in a position where we're week. We can be not surprised by what we're saying but at the same time still be shocked that these people will continue to carry water for donald trump. you know it we could go back and talk about donald trump blocking kids in cages and republicans remaining silent we can talk about charlottesville remaining silent. We can talk about the fact that he denigrated a gold star. Parents and republicans remained silent even right before the election when he was asked. I is attorney. Pass is political opponents. Something they do in china in russia in in saudi arabia so it it was just stunning. That republicans didn't speak out then and they aren't speaking out now. Not exactly sure what they're afraid of. Joe biden is going to be president united states. And they're going to have to deal with gel. My husband eight up. I was gonna i was just and that was just want to add to what i said joe. You know what they're afraid of. They're afraid of the big bad wolf. Who will bad mouth them to his base and then they won't vote for the republicans in georgia for example right now. That's what they're afraid. I don't agree with that. But donald trump's not gonna do anything for for the senators running georgia. Donald trump is worried about donald. Trump doesn't care about the republican party. Never cared about the republicans. He contributed the hillary clinton nine times that suited his purpose. So he's never going to help anybody but donald trump and what's so discouraging to me in fact no republicans were on be have even tried to tell the truth about donald trump s and. They're so obsessed about their base that it never occurs to them that maybe they can move their base along with them some money. Donald trump said himself a young everybody all these republicans want across the country except for donald trump. Obviously he's not doing something right. Joe actually i would. Add larry hogan the governor of maryland to that list with mitt romney. I think he too has been a beacon of truth but my husband al cardenas hello. He was chair of the republican party. Florida when you weren't congressman from the state and you know it it feels like it was a completely different republican party back then and so i ask you where does all of this leave disaffected. Republicans like you like me. Is the republican party to stand any chance of recovering from something like we just went through. The last four years can can make win. Somebody like you back. i can't let me back. I mean you can't have a party that supported a president that was talking about creating a muslim registry a president who was talking about throwing his political opponent in jail Two weeks before the election. Who wouldn't guarantee a peaceful transfer of our told. Bob woodward he knew exactly how dangerous this pandemic was and instead lied to the american people over and over again over. Two hundred fifty thousand americans have died and they keep making fools of themselves. Republican party keeps making fools of themselves by again kowtowing to this guy. So i don't know where i go. I'm not sure where you don't know where al. How's me where people do or used to be criticized and being called nazis for supporting people like mitt romney and jeb bush. I want for those good old days but wearing i. Don't go back to the republican. Barring any donald trump is a fascist donald trump as behaved like a fascist and Again just look up. The definition look at the fact that the men time and again as has called on his supporters to commit acts of violence. Look at the fact that again. He's talked about arresting political opponents undermining our constitutional nord saying that the constitution article do gives him unlimited power. My republican party. The republican party by you remain silent. I can never go back there. So the question is do remain independent for the rest of my life. Do we haven't expanding different party. Democrats welcome conservatives and welcomed Suburban voters that helped elect george are helped elect joe biden descent. I mean i think that's that's the big question. Well keep even. I think. I think we're going to have more questions when we come back for you. Joe so we'll be right back with joe and still held garth brooks is performing on the view and won viewers winning by brand on our black friday cash sweepstakes..
The Anti-Cancer Revolution
"I'm here with Ryan Stir Nagel who is the founder along with his wife Teddy of the stern method, a platform informing and inspiring families going through cancer to succeed on all fronts in May of twenty fourteen, their son Ryder was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma childhood cancer of the nervous system just eleven days before his first birthday through an integrative approach leaving nothing on the table today writer is thriving along with the stern method website and social media. Presence Ryan hosts the anti-cancer Revolution podcast and online conference, and is the creator of going into creative a step-by-step course for cancer patients, parents, and Caregivers Ryan. Welcome to the show. It's such an honor to have here with us today. Meant, the really really good to be with you. Well, that's quite a story I'm sure you hear this all the time every parent's nightmare to go through what you have been through with your son Ryder I'm so happy to hear that he's thriving today and not only that, but you've taken that journey and you've turned it into an opportunity to. Pass things on past things forward. So not just going through what you've done for your cells and healing your son, but turning around and helping other people go through that journey themselves and being a support for people. So just wonderful work you're doing and I couldn't be more happy for the existence of your story because it's helping. So many people I'm curious after writer was diagnosed. How long after that point? Did you start using a more integrative approach wasn't like right away or did it take some time to get to that point? We were very, you know I don't know. A million different words come to mind but alternative minded going into it even when my wife was pregnant with or even before she was pregnant with rider, we really started. To clean up our act in terms of we had been out of college for a little while, and of course, we're living the standard American Diet Slash College lifestyle right you know. But then you know we got married at nothing better do but watching documentaries and. Started started, find out about getting healthy. So we were we were already experimenting with different diets eating all organic food getting rid of chemicals in the house already. Getting rid of. Not using, Wifi or anything like that. So we were we were already going down that rabbit hole. We'd seen several integrative alternative cancer documentaries just kind of out of general interest I. Guess We'd. We'd bought stuff on the Gerson. Therapy and the Brzezinski documentary in the so yeah. When when Ryder was diagnosed we already had a very firm handle on the direction we wanted to take in looking ahead I already perceive the fact that we were going to have trouble because of everything I knew about the way the conventional medical system is set up set up particularly when it's when it's your child, you find out pretty quickly when your kid gets guide diagnosed and and hopefully nobody's kid listening to this gets diagnosed but the conventional medical system and the in the state don't necessarily consider your child yours. You know when you're going through a cancer diagnosis and especially it's not a big deal for a lot of parents that just kind of roll over and just do whatever they're told. But for parents like us that really wanted to do everything we could for our child in knowing that everything we could do meant a heck of a lot more than than everything that we were offered in the hospital and perhaps not doing everything you're offered in the hospital. Yeah. Yeah. That led to that led to some real real ugly situations and actually moving

"Trump is going to get rid of moths once and for all. I'm talking of course about trump's executive order targeting political bias at twitter and facebook. He announced this sort of like off the cuff last night that he was about to make a statement and issue an executive order because he was mad that twitter at an an addendum to his tweet. About how mail? Mail in ballots are like all fraudulent and this is the first time twitter did that. Because they've been receiving like Meka Brzezinski is basically just been saying. Please stop accusing my husband of murderer trump at Jack. Please stop him to lead his account way and they're adding this kind of like this fact checking feature trump now and he is very mad about it and Is Response To. This is reading from these account era says President Donald Trump is expected to order a review of a law that has protected twitter facebook and Google from being responsible for the material posted by their users according to a draft executive order an assertion me. The situation news of the order comes after trump. Threatened to shut down websites. He accused of stifling conservative voices. Following a dispute with twitter after the company decided to tag trump's tweets with about unsubstantiated claims of fraud in mail in voting with a warning prompting readers to fact check the posts the order a draft copy of which was seen by Reuters could change before it's finalized on Wednesday officials said trump signing executive order on social media companies. Thursday the executive order would require the Federal Communications Commission's to propose and clarify regulations under section thirty to thirty of the Communications Decency. Act A federal law largely exempting online platforms for legal liability for the material. Their users post such changes could expose tech companies to more lawsuits. The order asks the FCC to examine whether actions related to the editing of content by social media company should potentially lead to the platform forfeiting its protections under section two thirty

"That time on to the the Joe Biden situation and we've obviously dealt with the make it Brzezinski interview on MSNBC this morning and what I said now on the show for well over a week week and a half that the media must investigate this Joe Biden allegation with the same veracity and the same teeth they went after Brett Kavanaugh and the claims by Dr Christine Blasi Ford you have to so we are you CNN's doing decent covered I'll be honest CNN had a very decent report earlier today on the allegations against Biden they were graphic and what binds accused of and it was not a biased report he was a it was a pretty straight down the middle report so we're starting to see some mainstream media cover the story I will get as much as cabin all well that remains to be seen but this is pretty serious and now no we don't listen we are in the middle of a pandemic sue my executive producer points out so we might not get the same amount of coverage than if we didn't have a global worldwide pandemic killing tens of thousands of Americans but it is being covered the latest here and this is from law and crime what a long crime is part of media I'd and it's one of the Dan Abrams websites and Dan Abrams of course legal love corresponded chief legal for ABC news as well he does also Dan Abrams that has that very successful what's the show live PD on the weekends and their headline on long crime is woman claims Biden sexually harassed her when she was fourteen years old by complimenting her breasts the story says a woman says she was sexually harassed by presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee Joe Biden which was fourteen the woman eva Marie told law and crime so not not anonymous thing here this is she's giving her name the woman eva Murray told law and crime that Biden complimented her on the size of her breasts how creepy is that at the first state grid iron dinner and show back in two thousand eight a long running roast all and party for politicians journalists and prominent business figures that's held each year in Delaware Murray says she remembered the event occurring sometime around may of that year one friend and her sister said that Murray told her details alleged event more or less immediately after it happened four other friends of Murray's said that they were told about the incident with the same details between two and a hand between two and three years after originally occurred long crime interviewed Murray her sister and those friends over the course of multiple days Murray is the niece of former Republican Senate candidate Christine o'donnell and said she occasionally receive school credit for attending such political events o'donnell is running a long shot campaign against Biden at the time that the sexual harassment incident occurred the LSE Christine o'donnell had our own issues I had a field day with her let's be very clear I still can you dig up quickly some of Christine o'donnell's greatest hits if you don't mind just a quickly and if you can I'll even go to you on Mike if you want to just given to me I might just let me know when you're ready with some a Christine o'donnell's greatest hits anyway but listen it's not to say that this nieces claims are false because a lot of the story checks out is a long crime says that everyone's saying the same thing the Biden campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment by that's currently under fire allegations Tara Reid or Tara Reid with that penetration issue Biden's campaign denied it was buying them because Biden was on MSNBC this morning we've talked about that according to gridiron dinner secretary Kathy clock co K. L. O. C. K. O. clock all right the roast is held the first Saturday of may which I guess that's not happening this year which you would place the event on may third two thousand eight kaka went on to note that until recently the event was secretive and did not release information such as guest lists or photographs of the event I remember walking into the lobby and being in all of all the people in such fancy clothes Murray said in the interview along crime our two parties of people gravitated towards each other and everyone started saying their hollows when it was by then and my aunts turned to say hello he quickly turned to me and asked how old I was I replied with my age and he said the I plan to do that he said fourteen M. M. says your very well endowed for fourteen I was confused but it was definitely weird he looked up and down and Harvard is eyes on my chest so I had some clue about the notion of his comment but didn't fully understand at the time we quickly separated from his area after the encounter hello Mike that is that's pretty weird here all right and hold on to sue's got a little bit of Christine o'donnell just the second Murray is that twenty six and engage with the son and daughter was in middle school at the time by diligently made the comments about her breasts I'm invokes this sounds like Joe Biden I need just some of the creepiness that we've heard over the years the touching the stories of creepiness getting to close in your face stroking your hair sniffing your hair sniffing you does anyone doubt that Joe Biden said the fourteen year old girl wow look at your homeowner's well not every doctor quite like that but commenting on how well endowed she was for fourteen years of age I feel it's common for verbal sexual harassment Murray told law and crime I think it was I was too naive to realize exactly what amount of time but I vividly remember the uncomfortable feeling I had in the pit of my stomach it is the barrister who the hell what what kind of you well back in what two thousand eight you know when was this may of two thousand eight so he was senator Biden and he would not yet have even been picked for the ticket as well well when the swindle Bhama window bomb a pic bieten for running mate so this was made it here right so I I guess it was after June of two thousand eight yes this is may of two thousand eight so Biden was still to senator Biden and was not yet named as a running mate for Obama but that's just I mean I don't doubt that it happened I believe that it happened but also Christine o'donnell through which she the which one would be the yes you read yeah give me some of her do the greatest hits what do you want to start with which crafter masturbation you dealer's choice all right which preference second year old elderly what we okay here we go I doubled into witchcraft I never joined a coven but I did I did I dabbled into witchcraft I hung around people who were doing these things I'm not making this stuff up I know what they told me to do that was in nineteen ninety nine right M. I think it was probably all we need it's gonna be the masturbation stuff anyway but well I I think that what her nieces saying now twenty six years of age what happened to her when she was fourteen I don't doubt that for a second yes I mean that just sounds like something Joe Biden would do and say all right I am going to do one final lightning around with I have let's see I've got two hours left the material I'm gonna try to get into a get all into a few minutes and our final segment don't miss it.

Shit what did I say yesterday like probably October today? May I do think there is too much heat on it? It's it's just interesting. Timing on all fronts For her I don't know how what the circumstances were of her coming out at this time I know with Blasi Ford. It was like she was talking to a therapist and she was like confronted. And you know what I mean right. Don't with her do real curious timing as well sure. Yeah Yeah. That's what I'm saying like someone was using it but I'm just wondering if she had the same if this Tara. Reid had the same situation where someone came to her and said hey we heard you have the story to you want to like I. Do you know what I mean. Or if she just decided out of the blue she's doing a lot of interviews and you're going to see her a lot more so I don't know here's what I said. What's when Cavanaugh was going through? I said look. You're setting dangerous precedent by having this woman who blasted Ford. We'll start with her first right. Yeah you're you're setting a dangerous precedent by having blassie Ford. Who doesn't even remember if it was him out of place. What forty seven years ago or whatever the fuck it was And then magically it's like. Oh no but we were there and it wasn't. The same party wasn't the same thing and wasn't she the address of the person the place none of it and then we got this believe all women and I was like man. This is going to come back to haunt people once. You set this precedent. Then everyone's going to have to go through this every year. Now follow every lead all the way to the end you have to use all resources this story grow and grow and grow and grow and the next one. The next one's going to be tear read herself doing an interview. She said yesterday that when we got off air ironically she was like you know I would like to tell my story in a big Public Forum. And they were like well. Who Do you want to talk to? And she was like I don't want to do. She said the only offer. She's had his Fox News and she goes. I don't WanNa do Fox News because I want to do something so super rights and I don't want to do something super left. I'd like to do an interview with someone down the middle and they. They asked her who she said. Gayle King from CBS. She felt that Gayle King could do a fair and honest interview. So you can expect that. That's coming real soon and I would imagine Biden then after yesterday's development was just like let me try to get out ahead of this problem with it is He did not give a great interview this morning. And be it's technology problems of zoom or the questions themselves that he just didn't have an answer for or didn't want to answer. You had a lot of long pauses and didn't have answers to her questions and to her credit because MSNBC's pretty left. She went all in. Mika went all in on this which is like. Here's the deal. Why shouldn't we believe this other woman? Not This woman Blah Blah Blah Blah. I mean every question. She could possibly ask And he seemed flustered and it was not a good look for Joe Biden this morning and I have a feeling if homegirl sits down. Tear read with Gayle King. The story is only going to continue to grow. Were in May now. I had a listener after yesterday's show right in with a very interesting theory I I don't want to say his name in case you know. He doesn't want to be out there politically or whatever his name but he said hey listen to the show yesterday big Fan. I love that you guys are going every single day truly made my quarantine Raymond. It was awesome and he goes. Have you ever thought that this was someone from the left whose dragons grow out in knots someone from the right because they hate Biden and I was like simply Bernie? Bro Could Be I don out her. We go through her timeline of allegation. Yes fired you have it? Yeah so I just find it interesting as the only thing that I you know 'cause with this it's like I don't fucking know and even at the very end even with Blasi Ford. You don't fuck in now you don't know because it got so convoluted and so political and so you know and I'm not a news believers meeting. What was it high school or College? So and how? It came out and PERV inconsistency seven years later. Yeah yeah no so on April third two thousand nineteen. Do you remember when all those people came out that were like by you. Know he basically is old school in that Hill. Do Hill touch you. He's very Hansie. Nothing that yes but lots of just unwanted physical contact and this was like me to not height but like definitely were still full on in it so it's like no matter what it is. He touched my hand too many at that time. That was like who shit now. We're like a little bit more skeptical but anyways during that time. When all of those people came out she told a local. California newspaper that by news to put his hand on my shoulder and run his finger up my neck. She didn't feel she was a victim of sexual sexualization instead comparing it to being treated like an inanimate objects like inanimate object lamp is what she said she did. Not Say hey. I know you guys are saying that he they like hug. You inappropriately this guy fucking like major sexual assault on me and this is what happened so that is not what she said she said He. I'm right with you. Girls like didn't like the way he like touch my neck right march. Twenty Fifth Twenty twenty in a podcast with Katie Helper. Okay read claimed Biden sexually assaulted her in ninety-three pressing up against the wall kissing her neck. Penetrating her Blah Blah Blah April nine twenty twenty read filed a police report April ninth. Twenty twenty twenty. She filed a police report in April with Washington. Dc police alleging the sexual assault that happened in Nineteen ninety-three April twelve twenty. Twenty read repeated the Assault Story to the New York Times and said she had reported the alleged incident to Marianne Baker the executive assistant of Biden and two top aides. All of these people say that she didn't so that's kind of where we are now Even her brother was like didn't hear anything about it. The neighbor that she said was someone that she told about said. She didn't so April twenty fourth. The clip of Larry King comes out the twenty seventh to more people. Come forward corroborating parts of her story. And we're on May First Joe Biden addresses but says that nothing happened so I thought maybe there was some kind of report in ninety three so apparently there is and this is where they asked Jill Biden about today and they said hey man. There is something in this and forgive me. I don't know much about well. I do but With Joe Biden. There's some Delaware Files that are with the states of the university and that allegedly this this report is in. Here's the three things that I have like. Kind of an issue with Why did the MOM call into Larry King in Nineteen ninety-three that one's a little look? That one's a little weird to me. There was two people who did corroborate her story that she had told this to in nineteen ninety-three they said. Yes The New York Times article on those those people at the end of its the New York Times piece. They said we can't conclude whether or not this actually happened or not all of it by the way for for both of these people blassie Ford and her. I find them both suspicious to be with you. But here's where we are once. You set that precedent with Cavanaugh. This is exactly what's going to happen. Not just to Biden to everyone coming down the line Republican and Democrat. Whoever you do and don't like let's say trump does get reelected right. Rpg goes down going to bring somebody up to replace her. That that official is going to go through the same amount of scrutiny as everyone else and they're going to try to dig up everything they possibly can in the past and who knows who is really behind all this shit and that is the problem when you have a movement called believe women started by the Democrats and you you WANNA move forward with it like if you go all in like that you have no choice but to leave yourself open to somebody like this and to be honest. I don't know that either of them fucking happens. I don't and but but here we are once you go all in on that your hatred for trump. Got You to this place now. The thing that I find fascinating though is I really don't know if this was set up by the left. Take a poll. Yesterday of who the most popular democratic politician was in the United States and it was fucking Cuomo the most popular democratic politician in the United States. Right now. Okay it's Andrew Cuomo. Would they probably like to have him running right now? Yes the Hillary thing look. We talked about it of her waiting in the wings and that is done man people do not like you cuomo right now would have a good would have a better shot at it. My opinion then Biden..

Explainer 159: Who is Slovakias new president?
"Unlike its neighbours in central Europe, Slovakia, risen, foamy socio political term, but it all changed in February loss yon Kuchiak leading Slovakian journalist found murdered on Sunday evening, please. In Slovakia investigating the murder of a journalist and his partner young was investigating government corruption. When and his fiancee were killed the first murder of a journalist is history. The killings triggered the biggest and to government protests in thirty years and fools the country's long seven prime minister will fit. So to resign. Antennas on chip I'm Susanna. I'm a lawyer is soda. Soft-spoken liberal in a single mother. She's ten Slovak politics completely on its head. And she's done that without any previous experience of governmental diplomacy. No mean feat in a country that's been dominated by conservative career politicians fits suit. And now she's president. How did this happen? In you opaque tissues. Not trust Augusta poem. They will be time for detailed analysis later. But I think that what resonated with voters was that throughout my campaign. I've always been truthful and candid and try to answer every question post to me, even when it was difficult, and this is something that Slovak's simply on use to Q V clam chuckled to the made maiden name as an environmental lawyer, but could death on the mass protests that followed prompted her to go into politics is Doug lost knit them. Get through some in little study, the tragic events of last year affected me very deeply. And now the time is ripe for Slovak's to demand and make change Slovak's beginning to cherish, the values of liberty and mutual respect. And they need political leaders who are all Fenwick in representing these values. Do not hold. Now, the Slovak presidency is largely ceremonial role. Of course, but you will still be able to veto bills to approve the formation of governments. But is that enough to tackle the problems facing stuck? Having Brzezinski problem? We'll see a calm city. Limit of honor up Oviously, we are a parliamentary democracy, but nonetheless, the presidential powers quite strong, particularly in the areas of Justice and the rule of law and as president hobby pushing systemic change in these areas. So some key offices like prosecutor's office or police can become more independent of political interference Sposa ball duck bullets bullets comfortably. What about your opponent motto smash smash chef chevik as vice president of the European Commission. He's obviously also strongly pro Europe. And yet his campaign has affectively failed. That we missed it. Another visa Willie hollow by Hove nem. Call dober- healthy Amata, I consider him to be very accomplished diplomat. And he obviously has much more experience in matters of foreign policy than me. But I'm better acquainted with the situation here at home as a lawyer, I've been helping ordinary people with their problems all my life. Also, I felt like he was reluctant to take a critical look at our current problems. And I think people needed him to acknowledge the reality of spoken on St. slim seizure, the procedural portrait. What lessons can the rest of Europe learn from this presidential campaign and from your success. Financially emotionally, I should share Velka Obeit now in this country and beyond a growing demand for honesty, and for lack of a better word normality in politics. There's a lot of emotions in politics these days, but the predominant ones are fear and hate them. I think we need to create more positive emotions in politics. More empathy. We need to restore people's trust in politicians. We need to show them that politicians are there to do good. This is the lesson that can be drawn from my success. Of the coastal now, but he's to acquire. Troppled Obas, liberal views and has supported gay rights will no doubt rankle with more conservative Slovak's. But her election is a sign of change this country and above all shows that a political outsider doesn't always have to be populist or an extremist for more and broader Slava. I'm lexie.
The Joe Biden Media Frenzy
"I am looking at my screen, and I'm watching some things that are happening on the internet, which I keep going when I'm on the air. Full disclosure. I use it from time to time to update stories that I've gotten front of me, and all I'm seeing rolling on the scrolls, and the other things that happened on on these web pages is pictures of Joe Biden, crazy old uncle Joe. And I see this person sticking up for him and that person sticking up for him saying, he's extremely furler -tations. And Mika Brzezinski says in an extremely completely safe way. And how do we know? How does she know? How can she pass judgment on? The fact that crazy old uncle Joe is doing this in a safe way. And this person shouldn't mind it and yet. Without any proof at all. The person is supposed to get upset and rabidly mad at somebody from the other side of the political aisle. Doing the same thing with no proof that they're actually doing that. It's a stunning to me. Can you explain this where did this mentality? Come from.
"brzezinski" Discussed on Newsradio 950 WWJ
"And so why would you try to do it on your own with impartial, knowledge and education or be why would you continue to let somebody who was best suited to carry you through your thirties and forties. Try to also carry you through your sixties and seventies. It just doesn't make sense to me breadth that such a good point. And for those who are listening, and maybe they've been working with someone who's been helping them accumulate save build up that nest egg, and they just like to get a second opinion. To see if they've done enough and to see where they go from here is getting a second opinion is that part of your roadmap for retirement processes. Well, it sure is it's actually the first step. Most people that start relationships with us here at the Brzezinski group have a financial advisor currently or previously in their life from a financial perspective most families in or near retirement at some point have worked with a broker or an accumulation specialists that has helped them get to the top of the mountain that is retirement as it should be my point. Is you have to understand that all financial advisers are not created equally. We all specialize in one thing or the other and for us, we solely focused on helping families get ready for into navigate them through to retirement years. And it's not that your broker or your adviser of twenty years isn't good. They're fantastic. I'm sure they're just geared for the first phase of your financial life worst. Typically geared for the next phase. So it does start with that second opinion. We will sit down with you. And we will give you an independent no cost assessment of your current strategies and plans if at that time, we think that as retirement advisers and specialists, we would go in a different direction or that. There are things you're doing that perhaps could harm you in retirement that gives us a chance to educate and teach you about what those things look like in how to solve those problems. So it starts with a complimentary second opinion in transitions Jen into oftentimes building a family their own from the ground up actual roadmap for retirement plan to get started on that planning process..
Jussie Smollett Arrest Stuns MSNBC Into Silence
"Is the host of MSNBC's prime time lineup have oddly avoided the ongoing scandal staying silent. This says staying stone silent both Wednesday and Thursday nights about a story. That has commanded the attention of the nation all in with Chris Hayes. The Rachel Maddow show. The last word with Lawrence O'Donnell and the eleventh hour with Brian Williams did not utter small. Let's name the last two nights as all of this. New news broke about him him orchestrating elaborate hoax. So by the way, Suma executive producer said that she did watch. Brian Williams is eleventh hour on MSNBC last night. And they did not mention how can you not mention the story. How can how how can can Brian? Ian Williams, and the eleventh hour not have audio excerpts of that presser with the Chicago Commissioner the superintendent rather yesterday. Incredible. So all of those prime time shows now in fairness. Morning. Joe Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski they apparently did cover this quite extensively. And apparently, Reverend Al Sharpton was on the mornings with Joe Scarborough. But for the prime time shows all to ignore this case why because it's inconvenient. Because everyone wanted this to be a hate crime. That was essentially inspired by Trump. Is that why Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes in Lawrence O'Donnell, and Brian Williams eleventh-hour is that why they ignore this? Because the narrative that they all wanted that President Trump's rhetoric caused these white maga- Harry mega hat wearing maggots to attack. This black gay guy. That's the narrative they want. And when the whole thing is collapsed, and what they don't even talk about

They have built in sensors, and they can sense if you're gonna fall down they will send a message to France. And relatives saying, hey, Jeff is just fallen come take care of them. And they have an interesting pricing model that I would never go for. I don't know about you. It's interesting thirty five dollars a month or just over four hundred dollars yearly for these shoes. But you get new pair over year. Okay. So then there's the smart belt from company called Welt two hundred dollars for the belt Ican also detect. Your potential falls by analyzing you're walking patterns, and it can help keep you on track. Diet wise by sending you push notifications to stand up when you've been sitting too long or to scold you for eating too much. The belt has just been released how about a mailbox for people worried about porch thieves great idea. It's called the parcel guard. It sells for four hundred dollars. It's a forty pound slab of steel that lets the mail carrier slip in the package on top. And there's connected camera inside that lets the consumer check in from work to confirm that the package indeed arrived in a safe great idea. And because when you get home you can unlock this thing with a digital code from the app, which is all great. But this thing is a monster. It's giant. It's really big great idea. But way, too big you've got to have a really big house to put this on your porch. Now, you know, I'm a camera. Geek, so there were. To cameras there that I loved remember when we talked about Facebook's portal video chat device that has a cool camera that can track your every move which I loved I just didn't like it came from Facebook because I didn't trust it. Well to other companies here at C have cameras that can move all around and basically be your director for you. They track your face, and they will follow your every move. And unlike the portal, you can record stuff on it. So the hundred and forty dollars pivo is a tiny device that connects to a tripod, and it allows you to Brzezinski grammars in other content creators to shoot themselves and be followed without the need of a camera person. Which is great on the higher end. There's the uh spot. It is a five hundred dollar plus worlds. First cameras got ten lenses. So it's obviously higher resolution. It has a microphone jacket records to micro Esti cards. I can't wait to play with this. The Foley mate. It's. A device that automatically sorts close for you sells for thousand dollars. It's also mammoth mammoth, I can't imagine who's going to have room for this thing. But if you have a thousand dollars, I guess you have room right, Michelle, that's Michelle multi as line, and I just want to honor her by repeating it. And finally an airbag for cyclists. Why not right does a French company that makes airbags for motorcyclists and horse riders in now it has airbags for cyclists? It's a smart bag selling for six hundred fifty dollars with sensors built into no win to inflate the bag not over bombs, but went in a real accident. Now, I'll be back on the floor. It's a propaganda coup for the Chinese leader Xi Jinping his big theme since he came to power was promoting something which he calls, the Chinese dream essentially returning China to its proper place as one of the world's leading countries. And part of that is to put China at the full front of science and technology. Of course, at also has an economic spinoff because it allows China to develop technology, which can be used to make money that China is a signatory to wool the regulation that exists the green zone outer space activities. So there's no suggested the Chinese are going to start kind of setting up mining robots than the moon or anything like that. It's going to be collaborative. And they was stressing public comments about their commitment to expanding knowledge for mankind. But I suppose people will think back down on earth. China's approaches Norway's so collaborative certainly you would be right. Be slightly wary of those claims the Americans have banned the Chinese from being involved in space program because they're concerned about the transfer of technology in China stealing secrets, but even when we're not talking about space. There were all kinds of concerns about whether China's development of technology is for the benefit of everybody or whether it's just for the benefit of China. A perfect example of that would be the telecom company hallway, which is perhaps China's most international company the can accompany likes project and promote because it shows all the best of Chinese learning, and and technology a genuine international company, but yet over the last. Eight year all more a number of different countries around the world of being fearful of allowing way to use technology to develop telecom infrastructure in their countries. I was in the Carribean a few years back. I was very struck on the island of Dominika by the presence of Chinese workers. Chinese laborers, a big sports stadium that had been built by the Chinese government is a gift the people of Dominique how does China defend that kind of relationship, which even some on the island worry about how it's going and others might say is not so very different from the sort of colonial activity that was seen by European countries. Like, the UK what essentially and a half ago, there is certainly a case to be made that China's only doing what other countries primarily western countries have done before China's argument is essentially this making everybody we h he's not only going to benefit China. The Chinese would say it's going to benefit everyone else as well. And so. This kind of development. You talk about issues China's gift to the world to help them. Enjoy the economic benefits act. China itself is enjoyed what are the risks of conflict over this approach. A first economic lists. Which already a number of countries, identifying example, you've seen in Malaysia Sri Lanka other countries as well where the burden of debt imposed on those countries by China because of the money, it's loan them each too much. And then the failure is that at once you get to a country, then you have to sing to whatever Choon that it plays on a wider scale as well. It's the idea that China is completely different in its outlook to the western world where we value an individual rights the rule of law tolerance, not always perfectly smooth sable. That's the aim at. But in China, it's a one party state is the Chinese communist party, they given anything. They can do whatever they liked. So the thing is, of course, that this is a country we've at completely opposite ideals to the western world. So what do they want where were they going? What do they do if they don't get what they want Michael Bristow Chinese diplomat's among the first I hasten to Brasilia when Bolsonaro won Brazil's presidential election. He took office on New Year's day declaring this week that is election proves people want hierarchies order and progress a phrase, which wouldn't sound out of place coming from the lips of a Chinese official president Bonar ru is a figure of the right. And both a well aware that it's on challenged violence that threatens the state on Friday, President Bosnia REU urged congress to pass legislation to protect the police from being prosecuted when they're on duty without that guarantee. He said there could be no guarantee of a rapid falling crime Leonardo Russia, the BBC's Latin America editor I into early in his political career when I was working in congress in Brazil. He was a newcomer. He was a new politician one of the few military men who had adventured into into politics after the end of the military government. And at the time, he came out to someone who was very very simple, not very eloquence, and the he had one he was just striking on one chord. He was saying he was there to defend the rights of the military, but not the rights, as you know, is a grander thing. He was there to defend the salaries the schools. Some privileges that many people had mainly lower ranking sub officials in the armed forces. That's quite a contrast in terms of his background to to Obrador in Mexico who who is kind of more steeped in politics, but also for quite a long time back Lopez over Dory is a different person. He is a much more ideological person. You can call both Mavericks is a term you can use to describe them. They both driven by their own agendas. But a LOP is a was a former mayor of Mexico someone with a vision that defied this of one party ruled it effectively was in Mexico phone for decades. And he tried to break that he ran for president. He lost an election, which many people thought was you know, he was cheated out of his victory. He certainly thought are you protesting about quite a long time. Yeah. 40 years ago, the Camp David accords
"Marks so rare historic milestone for peace in that region as forty years ago. Israeli Prime Minister Menachem bagan and gyp president on war Sadat signed the Camp. David accords the agreement brokered by president. Jimmy Carter after thirteen days of bitter and difficult negotiations pave the way for peace between the two adversaries that holds to this day. Joining us now, former NBC news correspondent and Tel Aviv bureau, chief Martin Fletcher who's reporting you heard coming into this block. He's out with a new book that takes us much further back telling the story of Israel's first two decades, and it's titled promised land a novel of Israel and with us from Washington President and CEO, the Atlantic Council Friedkin. Good to have you both on board Fred's start with you as we look back forty years ago, the significance of Camp, David, the accords as it stands today, especially in light of our ability to broker anything out of this White House in this presidency, Donald J Trump's presidency today. I will get to the lessons of Camp David because I think they're crucial for today. But first of all, it was almost upset by a little girl at Camp. David name, meek, Brzezinski. I was reading a memoir of her father over the weekend, and apparently you were in a golf cart with Amy Carter and you almost ran down the the Israeli Prime Minister and was only the security guard of Amy Carter that avoided international crisis at that point. Dr. So at any case, lay that aside, I think three things that apart and they don't exist right now. The first is you had Menachem beg on the Israeli side Saddad on the side and they were both strong leaders who wanted to get something done in Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas on the Palestinian side. You don't have that. They could make difficult decisions even against political opposition. You had president Carter who was willing to get deeply involvement details and come up with creative solutions during those thirteen days and Camp David elsewhere when things God blocked. And then the third thing Menachem bagan was willing to give up territory was willing to give up the Sinai. He didn't see any biblical connection, any historical connection. So he wanted to hold on West Bank and the way to do that was giving up Sinai. This has been a win for the US. We shifted Egypt from Soviet Union to ourselves, and and it's been really aloke. Conflict ever since as bad as the Palestinian Israeli situation has been the big powers have not been intervening in it and Israeli Isreaeli borders, though not entirely peaceful, have been certainly more peaceful than than they were then.
