"The size of the core the thickness of the crust and the structure of the of the mantle of mars on that rebel. You know we we could sit on our laurels now and say no. We're done of course we're still alive on the planet. Were still alive. On the surface taking seismic data as we speak. And we'd like to first of all you know we find those those measurements. Get get them down to more precise values and we're looking at at new things where we're looking at. The possibility that seismic activity on mars might have a seasonal variation which is We have some hints of that now. Which would be very strange. And very a different than what we see on the earth There's lots of different rear kinds of quake signals that we're seeing that we don't understand yet so there's a lot to steal to to understand about mars. Well the things that. I'm hoping to learn about the You know for me. The fascinating thing about venus is that it is so similar in size to the earth. But it doesn't have played tectonics and we've been talking all about how planets lose their heat and how what's going on inside with the loss of that. He affects going on the surface. You earth has plate tectonics. Mars has these big volcanos in still has a faulting and so forth. Venus's crazy place in has a young surface you know it somewhat similar in age surface of the earth but it ended ended so big. Has this giant amount of heat heat engine that should be churning and producing something like played tectonics but it doesn't so the big question for me is how is it operating. What's the process. We think that it may have a lot to do with vulgarism. There's eighty percent of the surfaces covered in volcanoes and so maybe there's some kind of intermediate process where it loses a lot of heat through volcanoes erupt in the surface. And the other thing. That's truly fascinating to me is that we believe it has seduction zones where one of these plates is sinking into the mantle. And that is how everyone thinks. Plate tectonic started on the earth. You know. I didn't start out that way it. It didn't form plate. Tectonics informed the single plate. So this huge questions. How does plate tectonics start and that crossed is like billions and billions of years olds. We have little data to actually tell us how the earth made this massive transition to play tectonics which is so. You know dominated the evolution of the earth but on venus. We think we can study the process of seduction occurring today and to be able see how a planet maybe start down the path of plate. Tectonics to me is super fascinating. Well as our planet is turning we've run out of time unfortunately But bruce banner thank you. So much sues schmor- car thank you so much. You're very welcome. I'm really thrilled to to be able to talk about this. A pleasure thanks. Bruce banner is principal investigator for the mars. Insight mission and sues smart car. "He just looks like a guy who doesn't know what he's doing and he is lost because who he is has been taken from him and that might have been mephisto actions but quite frankly from pfister's perspective the more he can cheapen the idea of life and death the more he benefits so the idea that i don't get to come back as colliver and that that science gets more and more out there that yes we can record your memory structures. We can let you live forever. Were there take him because obviously if you get to live forever as a computer program that means your soul. You're not gonna worry about it when you give it away. Or i mean we have the technology in this story. People are getting split. I mean curt connors was split from the lizard. I mean back in two thousand eighteen when this whole run What the is the lizard. Just a monster or delivers lizard have a larger percent personality which might have. I mean back in two thousand eighteen. I mean this machine. You know when nick. Spencer started his run. Peter parker and spiderman were split into and they were both like separate entity. No they were an immediate question But we also saw that that And being separate entities each one lack something the other half and they kind of became this sort of like every time that you separate people in comics. Like when when bruce banner and the hope cut separate in just became the hulk is a mindless fruit and banner..

"I don't like the fact the hulk not in his movie at all. I think that it's okay here that they do it but i wish they wouldn't have kept that going. So this is where issue with the starts is because we see this three times over the movie where bruce trying to bring out hulk and refuses to come out and they never closed that loop. They don't talk about it at all and then game. It's just your fight and jet. Well they really will end game where the first time you see. Hulk he's full hawk like full. Bruce banner is walking around and taking hall. Yeah professor is completely neuter. The hulk nothing comes to this performance thing that is didn't want hawk to fight which is a good point for sure but you just watch the movie so i can't argue that you're right. I remember that too because this whole ever fight in Is kind of kind of the end. He's not rage hoc now. He's just canal. Yeah right yeah like obviously. He's afraid because he just lost got his ass kicked by thanos. I'm like all men and endgame. He's gonna come back and he's gonna. Yeah no that's interesting. Because that's exactly what i was going to happen because again. It's been a few years since i've seen in game. I haven't watched since my thought was like. Oh well yeah. This is kind of interesting like the hulk and him can actually argue and have conversations and hulk is still hamas but he still learning to wrestle with it. Okay that's cool. I know you're i know. The directors thought his big ironman hawk suit was going to like replace. That it doesn't cause bruce's still just not good. He does get one fine one moment of him being good at things It's called pretty great. Which is pretty great. Yeah it's pretty awesome. But don't turn bruce banner. Don't turn him into old hulk. Bruce banner don't turn them into. What was it god. I had the joke of my head. Hurt joke joke is trying to get out. I'm like joke it out. And he's like no edward norton. Don't turn him into edward norton hulk anything good. 'cause edward norton bruce banner as we all know nothing around and and looks for begs for spare change. Hey he can travel across the country country with no money. Hey feet i just tossed. I just tossed. Mike belva could put the down at the ball in front of them. Had it on the bed like you go jainal bongo bat wing away. I will never thought making that joke on the show. never listen. We've been doing this for a year..

"That movie so much. Yeah i love tim. roth. And i don't know steph worse than ironman too so i agree with that to put it about by mark. Ruffalo will be officially returning as bruce banner. I i've said it before. I said before. I thought that he would definitely be a part of this. And i think some of these characters. Like i think she definitely is going to show up on the big screen as well. I agree i agree. I just said it. Before on this. Podcast i do not want the blood transfusion to figure out a better. Two thousand twenty way to make sure your then the fucking blood transfusion. It is really bad judgment if you're the whole to give somebody a blood transfusion worked in the seventies. I don't think it worked so hot now. I mean unless you're absolutely desperate situation in which she dies unless he gets her immediate blood transfusion. What's weird about the show is. It's going to be a comedy. I didn't find that weird at all. I think the best hawks is the dan slot stuff which essentially comedy john earn back in. The day was largely comedy his his great.

"I like that is something he will do without that is instinctual drift for him like without any intervention that will come back right and no matter like no matter what you do to that dog here. You'll be stopping in the moment and you'll be added like Managed IT and you'll be able to stay on top of these things but left alone to his own devices. You're going to chase and bite every bike. Yeah, right and it confuses people because it looks like an aggressive fish fry and the dogs are sweet hot the dog loves everybody right? He's a great dog except for that and he will Massacre your back tire while you can get off and he won't hurt. The person is zero interest in buying a game. By killing that tire is the most important thing to him and it looks like oh, yeah, he's fucking okay, sorry up heaps of like because and that's the worst part about it is that he's actually had success to the back office. And so what he had was no success stories critical. Where he was just chasing them a chasing and the frustration frustration frustration builds aggression. So when you look at it, it really is aggression. Like you would think he's been wronged by a bike or I like white killed his family, right? Like it's that sort of intent with which he goes at it. And as I say like, I don't know that that's ever going to go away we manage it and there's been lots of intervention but left alone by itself. Say two weeks, you could go, you know, super strict aversive steam every time he tries to chase a bike. You can try and counter condition. You can do all sorts of things. Yeah. I took right? No collars no edits back to yeah, right and that's just because that's who he is. That is a deep-seeded. Well, that's like selling printing. Yeah. It's like telling Bruce Banner not to be the song. Yeah, it's just something he can't help. Yeah, you know it's there and as soon as he gets stimulated in a certain way the Hulk emerges. Yeah, and it happens with a lot of dogs with aggression as well. Like that's the analogy I try and use with people now seem to understand a little bit better, you know, like in one of the events. I don't know. What was Thor Ragnarok or one of the Avengers movies when Bruce Banner turns around and goes what people don't know is the rage always there, you know, when he turns around and you just explodes and turns into the Hulk straight away..

Interview With Bruce Vanderhoff, MD, MBA: Chief Medical Officer at OhioHealth About Coronavirus

"So I'd like to welcome me chief medical officer with Ohio health Dr Bruce Vander Hoff and Dr thank you for being on the mark blazer show I know you're very busy very pleased to be able to be here with you yeah it's fantastic that you've taken time to be on with it so everything that you're seeing and reading right now with regard to our we are we really close to hitting what they're calling the surge is is that something that you're seeing within the next whatever few days to a week yeah all the modeling that we've been doing here in the state really is pointing toward hitting our surge over the coming days now of course we're hopeful that that surge is as low as possible but I do think that we're going to begin moving into the peak season for our our who bid nineteen search sometime over the course of the next several days so from when you first began seeing the data for the corona virus and where it was projected to go and so on and where we're at now is it promising you know based on the comparison there and kind of the things that we're hearing kind of alluding to what you probably just heard me talking about with the governor during his press conference today and all of that your thoughts on that yeah it's very promising and I think the people of central Ohio and really people all across our state can be very very proud of all the sacrifices that we've made and although the hard work that collectively we put into one thing this curve it's it's had an impact you know modeling for epidemics is actually not something new for people in health care we've been modeling epidemics for a long time early estimates about what this virus could have done in our state we're really pointing to pretty frightening picture and I think collectively now we're all cautiously optimistic that while there are still going to be people in central Ohio who gets sick and they're still going to be serious illness for our health systems to deal with that we're looking at a much much better picture talking to chief medical officer with Ohio health Dr Bruce banner often with regard to the surge we were kind of just talking about that is projected to hit here soon how has Ohio health prepared for this well we've been preparing in a lot of ways of for a long time really dating all the way back to H. one N. one and then the concerns that have arisen around of the potential free ball walk to jump from Africa to other countries but when it became clear that this illness has the potential to spread from China to the United States we began thinking about well what were all the things we would need to do to be out that set ready to go so a few weeks ago we already had a command center up and running and from that command center we began looking at how would we need to change the care that we provide day in and day out how would we need to help support the community in new and different ways how is the house Ohio health been handling the PP shortages are you guys experiencing that I think that every healthcare organization in the country has had to contend with that you know the the supply of of PP medical supplies really it is a worldwide distribution chain and unfortunately this illness hit some of the sources of that world wide supply chain pretty severely so that by the time it got to us our usual sources had been really really badly impacted but you know Ohioans are really remarkable and certainly the team here at Ohio health I think it's been remarkable it really prompted us to innovate and so we innovated and a whole lot of ways some of which your your audiences are undoubtedly heard with we partnered with some local innovators like the tell and Patel helped us find new ways to continue using important things like our masks and so today we are recycling our masks and a very very safe and FDA approved way when we have many were very grateful to Patel for that but we've done other things up we we've worked with local companies to help us produce some of our P. P. P. companies that you know previously were were not in the business of making PPP and maybe even done other things like three D. printing a lot of the swabs now that we used to do the testing we can't get but but it's okay because we're three D. printing I I I'm with chief medical officer with Ohio health Dr Bruce Vander Hoff and I also read doctor that you know you guys are using this is incredible by the way the iPad to communicate with patients from say on like the other side of the glass in the I. vis with the longer to being set up so you know in the hallway the nurses can you know Dodge having to go into the room for somebody who's infected to change that kind of stuff is unbelievable to me that so really really cool and you know what's really the coolest thing about it is that these are innovations that were developed at the bed side by the folks who care for patients every day so when they were faced with the challenge of needing to decrease the traffic in and out of the room because we had real pressure on the availability of personal protective equipment they looked at it and said well you know I we can change how we how we care for patients but the caring for them in ways that didn't isolate the patient so while we're going in and out of the room less often because of some of the things you just described IV pumps outside the room we're also giving the patience I pads and now the doctors and nurses are able to interact with them often much more often than they were before because it's you know if you see a patient and then half an hour later have a thought want to ask them something you're on the other side of the hospital in the old days that might mean you got back around later in the afternoon now you get on your smartphone you connect to them on their iPad and it's a much better doctor patient nurse patient interaction that is really really it's fascinating corona viruses we know doctors changed you know how we approach medicine talk to me about telehealth I know that something that is kind of a newer term for some people and how it's becoming kind of the new norm right now well this this code nineteen experience really challenged our health care providers our our doctors our nurses to think about new ways to stay connected with patients in new ways to continue their vital care so some of that it's been through video and telephonic care and now our our primary care physicians are specialists are more and more having their visits with patients via video telephone I'll give you a great example my neighbor came over and asked me to help him with his I. phone because his very first visit with his specialist was going to be a videocassette this is the headphones yes we haven't set up in it and and he did very well with it but you know that's not something that would have happened is recently is three months ago give me another really neat example and that is we're doing more and more hospital at home care so patients in it in the past may have come to the hospital for something that required relatively short hospital stay but now because we're able to provide monitors special monitors in the home we're able to use these video visits supplemented by maybe once or twice a day nursing visits were caring for some conditions without the patient ever having to come into the hospital Dr venter offices Dave I was curious you know one point they were talking about forty to seventy percent of the population what would get corona virus do you and there's a thirty percent swing in there do you still see it in that regard is it just going to be that it's going to be spread out over more time do you think that percentage is going to drop any insight on that you know one of the challenges that we have is that but we really don't know how many people at this stage in the game have been infected with the corona virus but what we do know is that far more people have and miles for a symptomatic infection with us then we believe from the early data that was coming from China in a way that's a hopeful factors because if a lot more of our people have required the virus had the virus and yet really have very mild symptoms maybe a mild cold maybe little at all it it may point to there being more and you've heard this term herd immunity and we might have thought possible that that seventy percent number that you've heard referenced the recent people point to that number is that's right around the point when the community has enough immunity at at that it helps reduce the likelihood that more vulnerable patients will get the illness and be exposed to it in the general community so we don't know yet but we are hopeful that maybe there's more community in our community at the end of the spring season then at first we thought might have been possible chief medical officer with Ohio health Dr Bruce Vander Hoff thank you so much for coming out today and for everything you and your staff and everybody at Ohio health and the health community doing for us not only during this time but all the

Joker, Commentary

"Going to be a podcast her everyone laughed at me well no one's laughing now and Stewart and this is the host who always has negative thoughts Jacob joker a movie that I could not believe have the height around it that it did I can't recall the last time a superhero film was Ben so polarizing I mean people worried about shootings in theaters people saying Joaquin deserves an Oscar yeah it was all over the place coming out of Toronto Oh this is going to be the film of the year it's going to get all the Oscars and then Todd Phillips director opens his mouth and got a lot of backlash for what he thought we're comedy was these days yet all the place with this film that said I got to say this one took me by surprise I assumed that DC was in free fall. I mean we have all commented on how their output has been inconsistent can we all agree at best putting it nicely right that they have not had the scene unless nece that the Marvel Universe has been able to bestow on all of their works when I heard they were doing a one off joker movie I was like that sounds like a bad idea story are you getting those marvel paycheck saying they're in free fall I mean wonder woman made one of a billion dollars off man made a billion dollars what kind of free was that will somebody say well I don't care what the hardcore people think the truth of the matter is a lot of their movies have stone DOC and they've not consistent the fact that we have a one of joker movie this joker that we're told will never appear with Batman what the hell are they doing marvel would never do that is what I guess I would say sure but I don't mind that like what is the best spider man film Spiderman entered the spider verse like that is not connection to the m. c. you or what Sony is doing with Tom Allen's spider manoeuvres etta any of that so I don't mind a one off if you can just pull off a good movie I don't care if it's in any kind of continuity villain standalone movies making a Superhero movie without a superhero has not been something I've thought has worked before I mean Holly Aries cat-woman Tom Hardy thinom they could never figure out how to do sinister of six I mean you could even probably throw the Star Wars prequels into that concept having the super villain story told without a counterpoint of heroism where's our entry point who are we supposed to be with and what are they going to accomplish the you mentioned marvel I think that DC here is taking a cue from Marvel's newest acquisition Fox Todd Phillips talked about how it took a lot of convincing at Warner Brothers to let him do an R. rated joker movie but that was the only thing he was pitching and he's literally hearing responses from Warner brothers like we sell joker pajamas at target what are you going to do to our character that might hurt Pyjama sales and look at the roads that deadpool paved and I think even more specifically logan going more dramatic and being R. rated you can't beat marveled by playing Marvin those game the way you beat marvelous by making your own Fox did that and nobody is even see new mutants because nobody knows what to do with it again the X. Men horror movie yeah they've experimented sometimes those experiments have been successful I'm just saying approaching this project hearing the we're going to do a one off film about the region of joker seemed like a waste of time I was not excited about this movie at all until I saw the trailer Yeah Al admit I mean after seeing what happened to jared Leto in jokers role in suicide squad. We'll see at that movie he doesn't think he was in that movie enough he's got a scene it was not overly excited to see what they would do with joker now what I will say is somewhere at this very moment jared Leto has pissed Yeah Joaquin Phoenix get attached this because that's what I would have gotten excited you know he's one of those actors like Tom Hardy who's like a Nicholas cage who is just going to make some decisions and go with them they could be czar. They could be captivating like that trailer yeah they really tapped into Martin Scorsese in that taxi driver field but I was even more excited about Joaquin Phoenix playing this role and should be pointed out he is the man that would be doctor strange he has quartered comic book movies before and walked away saying this is not really for me why do this one he was also offered the role of Bruce Banner the reason he didn't do them he didn't WanNa sign multi picture contracts he didn't want to do what Chris Evans and Robert Downey junior did where the next seven years of your life you're working basically as a day player for marvel here it's a one picture deal and the ways they got him on board for this one it was Todd Phillips again Joaquin was connected from the very beginning and the Pitch Phillips gave him is we're going to make a real movie but we're going to get warner brothers to fifty million dollars for it by calling it fucking joker yeah how did Todd Phillips and doing this because I've seen a lot of his films old cool that hangover trilogy these are not things that I associate with a Gritty New York Scorsese style film you saying that and coach when I look at this filmography I hadn't seen most of what he meant. Yeah they're bad comedies well he makes kind of comedy I don't patronize the I'm not ever interested in watching skin hutch that's just not something I'm going to see I did see war dogs which I actually thought it was a little underrated I thought it was pretty good it's okay yeah kind of fell apart at the end yeah thought it was decent as well and it was four dogs that actually got this happening as he was at an early screening of war dogs with Warner brothers and realize is is exact phrase was war dogs wasn't going to set the world on fire as so he started talking to Warner about what could we make that's going to really get attention and do a little bit more be a little more provocative look way down on his resume his first film and you might actually see why he really got the Gig I was doc I didn't realize I had always heard about this documentary about the punk icon singer G- yeah I did not know top Phillips did that I have seen it ooh those are some live performances you wanna be careful with he strips down throws a species tough stuff to watch yeah I watched the movie I was like Oh I've always wanted to see it this gives me an lent reason it may be the closest of all his films to joker it begins with an actual endorsement from John Wayne Gay see another killer clown so yeah brutal I don't know that I'm telling people I recommend that experience be prepared I don't say this lightly it is very punishing it is very hard set is provocative and ways a lot of people probably want appreciate but you can't see a director who's very much trying to confront a freak entertainer and I do think at a core G G Allen and joker are two sides of the same coin so I would be interested to see a guy that came from punk rock bring a punk rock aesthetic to of joker movie if we must Gotcha Joker Origin Story. I WanNa say though I'm hesitant because I mean I always liked the way Keith Ledger played it how did I get my scars there's a danger and telling US definitively how joker came to exist right. There's something about the mystery we want to leave I've always liked the mystery the funny thing and you can go back to books and Nachos where in our talks about the killing joke written by Alan Moore the joker says I always change my story but here's the version I'm going to tell of my own gin and they tell an origin story and then just as origin story we're just GonNa make that the real thing but yeah I've always preferred him to be like Batman rewritten so obsessed with origin Martha Thomas Wayne Getting Killed and the pearls and walking out Zora all of that that has been told so many times joker being the opposite of Batman I liked that you just this mysterious chaotic clown figure that comes out of nowhere yeah I've definitely was thinking the killing joke when watching this and how it took elements of that in that Comic Book Joker was a failed stand up comedian who was kind of down on his luck in a rundown older Gotham city but I came in I think we might be seeing virtually and adaptation of the killing joke minus all the Batman stuff no they definitely go in a different direction with this but it gave them a good starting point and joker said he likes his origin story to be multiple choice. DC is having both ways they're gonNa make their continuity multiple choice switch movies do you want and continuity go ahead that's weird for me that we're seeing something that I should not think of as a comic book movies essentially what they're telling me don't worry I'll have nothing to do with Zam Aquaman wonder woman and all of that I mean did they even have that DC logo they have that old school Warner Brothers logo show up no DC logo okay and yet I mean it's not just your average comic book movies this movie's doing bigger than a lot of films I mean it's opening bigger than the average thor film it's maybe not topped here it's not spiderman but I'm not really it's no atman though it's beaten that man right yeah this is going to have a ninety million joining in the US. The biggest October release of all time is it Halloween in the mood for something kind of scary after it we want another killer oh but it's shocking to me the box office for what essentially feels a little art film is so huge and that it's rated R. You can't get teenagers in which is where marvel makes its money is they are aiming specifically at thirteen to seventeen year old market with their PG thirteen films and yes adults can like it in younger kids can like it but they're keeping that content for a rated R. Film in an error where in my experience it's much harder for young people to get into a rated R. Film that it made this much money is shocking to me I expected it to do well I didn't expect it to break venoms record

Breaking up is hard to do. Here's why

"You've heard the saying breaking up is hard to do. And today, we've got some research that might explain why according to a study published in two thousand seventeen in the journal, social, psychological and personality science, even while planning a break-up. Most people continue feeling the poll to stay with their partner in a series of studies. Researchers from the university of Utah collected data from participants who were thinking about or planning on breaking up with their partners. And they found that it was striking. How ambivalent people were about their relationships. A lot of the participants felt nearly as strongly about staying as they did about leaving the participants in this study included, some couples who were just dating and others who were married and both groups had similar reasons for breaking up at the top of the. List? They mentioned emotional distance, unfairness dishonesty and their partners overall personality. But when it came to reasons to stay the two groups were very different people in dating relationships wanted to stay for the good parts of their partners personality, emotional intimacy, and how much they enjoyed being with the person married people on the other hand said they'd stay because of investment family responsibility fear of uncertainty and overall logistics that may sound like marriage kills romance. But that's probably too harsh after all marriage is designed to keep two people together mixing up your finances. Investments and children require security in a relationship. So there's no wonder that those same things are top of mind when a husband or wife thinks about divorce if you're wrestling with the decision to keep things going or break it off with a significant other. There's no right answer. But now, at least, you know, that many many other people have struggled with the same conflicts. You do. Breakup aren't a battle of good and evil. They're just two people trying to do what's best for each of them, unless your future x is evil in which case, it is a battle of good and evil or maybe you're the evil one. I'm not one to judge if you live in a comic book universe and your cackling once a day, you you might be evil, you might be evil on I presume Tony stark listening to this podcast and Bruce banner and many others. You know, what we're recording this before endgame comes out. So maybe some of those people are no longer with us. I don't understand that reference. Oh, boy

Nerd Death Match

"We're going to do what we call a nerd debt. So here you could find him on Facebook. So the way that formats you we each picked three characters and we're going to pick hit our character against the other person's character talk about their history. Their power says and buildings and then decide who would win the nerd death match. So we'll get started with the first nerd death match, which we've kinda subtitled whips to wonders. So I think this'll be fine. I really appreciate Lee coming on and doing this. We talked about it not this would be a fun format to do. So wins to wonders my first pick is the hulk for marvel. Of course, the whip side of it is Bruce banner he was introduced in may nineteen sixty two by Stanley. And Jack Kirby, which I didn't know that the Jack Kirby was involved with that as well. And as many of you know, in the early sixties, everybody got their power sets from an accident seems like and Bruce banner is no different. He was hit by a gamma bomb. Which caused him to transform into the hulk when he gets angry or stressed out. He was introduced in nineteen sixty two he started to appear green like we know him now in incredible hulk number two because the print printer that Stanley had lined up couldn't do the gray color that originally started out as you couldn't get a matched. I guess. And so they switched to green which they said would be more consistently green in the hat. I guess more of it. I don't know kind of a weird thing. That's how he got started in. He hasn't really he's been on and off. He only went eight issues that I run and it was in the vendors. And then they try to bring him back. And then win sells you well. So they get cancelled again and say a lot of back and forth. He's been real inconsistent. Even the movies, you see now real inconsistent with that for some reason. They just can't write it. I guess, but they did a TV show in the seventies. With bill. Bixby and Lou frig no lasted for two years. So I don't know why it's been so little more than two years at the warriors. But anyway, it went quite a while. I don't know. Did you ever watch the whole TV show? I did I remember watching the Lou for full episodes. Yep. Yep. Natta cartoon back in the early eighties, which I watched I think it was only again one season there too. I don't know that they went one one season with that as well. So he's been kind of on and off as far as popularity I think in the new avengers movies fairly popular. But right. For whatever reason they can't get a good movie. So that's kind of the hoax story where he started from. Of course hawks mash they catch raised. Right. You buy the whole cans. Yeah. Keep reintroducing. Comes out and see what's the other. I'll hog is the strongest one there is another one. So the kind of common catchphrase, so the hulk. All right. Well, anyway, thanks again for having me on that show. It's always a good time to to get the leeann Lee matchup going on. So we used to wonder to match matchup against the whole this was a tough one. So I've chosen he-man from the masters the universe. Obviously his Wimpy alter ego is a prince atoms are prince Adam sorry team in being his his wonder ego. And then so anyway, nineteen Eighty-one he-man was a product of Mattel toy company, and he came along with an accompanying cartoon series and mini comic collection that came with him. Ran for about six years until nineteen eighty-seven when the toy line kind of imploded upon itself with a terrible live action movie, my personal opinion. Sorry, if you like that show has been relaunched several times and early nineties. There was a new adventure as a human where. He went into space in the early two thousands. There was a reboot cartoon that kind of went a lot more depth and kind of matured the storyline a lot, and it also came along with an accompanying comic book align with that as well. And then in two thousand twelve until present a DC comics apparently owns the rights to match the universe in relaunch to Hebron several times in in short series is in crossovers twenty twelve till present. Yeah, I read that the injustice versus he man. Right. And they had thunder cats versus man rate. Both pretty good. I thought the art was good at DC's done a pretty good job with the the he man comics in their last six seven years, whatever depend the right? So I just watched the two thousand two series a couple of episodes or really. Yeah. This is good. I mean, it's very animated. Ray right scenes. I do a lot of jumping and spinning. Whatnot. But you're right. They the storylines much deeper, right? Yeah. Yeah. I watched the whole reboot cartoon fact, I think that's the only the original vintage cartoon. I doubt I've seen every episode. Even though I loved it as a kid. I'm sure miss them. I've never gone

"I don't think this indicates that there is a problem necessarily. What I do think is this Lonzo ball looked really good. When Rondo wasn't on. The roster would Rondo was out on suspension. Now Rondos back in the wheels come off again for Lonzo. Like, that's the small part that I'm curious about. But it's gonna take a lot more than this before. I just say the Lakers, and this is kind of how the run gets going at least early on in the season. He is at times, very, passive aggressive. He is at times guy who fancies himself a teacher. And he also is a guy who understands he's a character in this reality TV show that he's invented. And that when he says stuff like this, which is a very viral friendly sound bite. He knows where it's going. Oh, it's going to be everywhere. And it's gonna put pressure on the young guys who is obviously very disappointed in to do the things that he wants them to do. Love him. Basically go at Bruce banner on it. Yeah. I'm going to turn green Ted is whole thing up. All right right off. Nice, quote, we will this special team. We'll see what they wanna do. But I think so. John Henry about whether his team will visit the White House. Low rez is manager. Alex core was critical of the president after the hurricane and Puerto Rico. Are you surprised to hear this? Well, I'm not surprised that the language here is a little bit of two. There has been some confusion as to whether he is talking about. Will we accept the invitation? Or will we be extended invitation and all of that beauty, of course, plays into the controversy that would follow because we know that the president only wants to invite people who want to see the president and Alex Cora Puerto Rico as you described is manager of the team, let alone with the other people on the team may think I feel like that would be an uncomfortable scenario. Well, what I find interesting about this is that it's a different animal when you talk about a baseball team going to the White House. Right. Like, you have all kinds of demographic questions that come with the basketball team your assumption is okay, they're not going to go with a football team. Kind of when I think of some of the guys will go. Maybe not everybody assuming they're extended invitation the difference. They'll be give when we talk about a baseball team is that we got a lot of people from countries that have been in the crosshairs of a lot of the political rhetoric that has come from the president. Yeah. This is compounded in this case, by the fact that the owner of the team owns a newspaper so much going on here it as much as people wanna play the, hey, stick sports thing about this. It has become impossible to do that with the White House. Visit I really do believe that this presidency is probably going to spell the end of sports teams going to the White House just because it becomes more trouble than it's worth the teams themselves. I agree. And this is one of those controversies that could just be avoided. And because it is a ceremony we must now consider what are all of the real the real world ways in which people's lives actually are impacted by news events that are ongoing as we speak. But it's also the complicating factor of what everything is that ties into this right because oh forget this. I mean, it's not as though Trump one massachu-. That's right. I mean, I'm pretty sure the every county in the state witted the other direction there is not like this is his base. But just the specter happens when they name comes up is so big I would have been like, we're not going. Just just busy. Yeah. That'd be nice.
