Philadelphia D.A. Larry Krasner Believes You Commit a Crime Because You're Oppressed
"Lens Here's what I mean by that You take Philadelphia for example where Larry krasner is a district attorney This is a guy who believes that if you commit a crime it's because you are oppressed You have to understand the system is against you It always has been The schools have failed you society's failure capitalism's failed you And it's come on we're not gonna put you away You're only here because we failed you You didn't fail us we failed you So that's why people get back on the streets That's why bail reform is such a joke You know the cops told me in the city here Cops tell me that it used to be that a cop would be on the street Talk to people get to know them You don't need policing Get to know them chat with them find out who the bad guys were And when people would come to the neighborhood well they didn't recognize they call the cops And these are white neighborhoods these are black neighborhoods Brown neighborhoods whatever other little colorful designation the left wants to use because it was people in boxes Everybody's doing the same thing Then you get this very very woke district attorney What he starts doing is what a lot of woke district attorneys across the country are doing He's letting people out of jail He's not prosecuting people It doesn't matter what they are I mean in terms of what their crimes are just letting them out Putting them back on the street So what happens The people become incredibly nervous about calling the cops because let's face it snitches get stitches and they don't want to get stitches So they don't tell the cops anything Knowing that if they tell the cops something the guy's gonna be out back on the streets the next day Only now he's gonna know somebody dropped the dime on him and he's not gonna like it And he's gonna find out who did it and it's not gonna end well So what's happening now is the cop's job is getting even
Vice President Kamala Harris Defends Joe Biden's 'Disgraceful' Africa Travel Ban
"Then another tweet said Trump further diminished the U.S. in the eyes of the world by expanding his travel ban. This new African ban is designed to make it harder for black and brown people to immigrate to the United States. It's a disgrace. And we can not let him succeed. So riddle me this Batman is Biden's presidency and disgrace. Is Biden disgraceful in banning, travel? From South Africa? My gosh. Here's the vice president Kamala Harris defending what Biden used to say was a disgraceful racist, horrible thing that diminishes us in the eyes of the world, and that is to ban travel from other parts of the world. Travel restrictions. We'll take it one step at a time, but as of now, we've done what we believe is necessary. Perfect. Thank you all so much. Yeah, we're back. We're taking the steps we think are necessary.
The Hypocrisy of Joe Biden's African Travel Ban Versus President Trump's Travel Ban
"Just confirmed that everything you think about what we're witnessing with the Biden administration is true. Headline, President Biden mocked for restricting travel from African nations after he attacked Trump for doing the same. This is so ridiculous. This is beyond satire. We're at a point where it's not even satirical anymore. You know the news about this new army Kron variant and South Africa. So what's Biden do? He bans travel from South Africa. Do you remember what he said about president Trump? Who did the same thing? President Trump trying to protect Americans from COVID. This is a tweet from Joe Biden. Trump further diminished the U.S. and the eyes of the world by expanding his travel ban. This new African ban Biden said hell of a difference. In March of 2020, is designed to make it harder for black and brown people to immigrate to the United States. It's a disgrace, and we can not let him succeed. Yeah, that's what Biden said last year and now he's turned around and he's banned, travel from an African nation.
Democrats Go on the Offense With Biden's Agenda
"Christian cinema is the subject of Selena zito's latest column in the New York Post and it's a terrific one. Selena joined me from Pittsburgh also in morning after a football lost this weekend, like the browns. Good morning, Selena, happy November 30th, to 29th to. Good morning, happy November 29th year as well. You know, I am very beleaguered by the browns lost late last night to the ravens the Steelers got blown out. We are both not likely to go to the playoffs, though it's possible for the browns. I don't think it's possible for the Steelers anymore. So you might be depressed, but I like your cinema piece because I read a lot of the build back better Texas this weekend. I'm up to page 800. It's a nightmare for Democrats. Yeah. I mean, I haven't been that diligent in reading it because I've fall asleep. But I completely agree with you. There's so much in there. And, you know, it's really interesting, I think, to me, here in western Pennsylvania, the amount of ads being run by Democrat affiliate organizations that would side with the Democrats pushing them not only to vote for this, but also to make more amendments to add more things. And I'm just sort of stunned. Watching these ads call senators Casey. Make sure he adds this to build that

Author Lee Strobel on What Near-Death Experiences Tell Us
"What is in this book, the case for heaven? This is your discussions with people who have seen who have experienced these kinds of things. Yeah, I interviewed neuroscientists, for instance, and others on the question of what a near death experience is really tell us. Because I was a skeptic about this. I thought no wait, they're just hallucinations. That's just oxygen. Even as a Christian, you were a skeptic of that stuff. I didn't think that the science supported. I thought, okay, I can't believe what the Bible says, but certainly near death experiences are just mythology and make believe in wishful thinking. But what I learned was that there have been 900 scientific articles written about near death experiences over the last 40 years and published in scientific and medical journals. This is a very well researched area of science. In fact, the lancet, which is the famous medical journal in England, did an article that said that when you look at all of the alternative explanations for near death experiences, oh, it's oxygen deprivation. So none of those explanations explain what actually takes place. And then I interviewed John Burke for my book. John Burke is a Christian pastor in Austin, Texas. He has studied a thousand near death experiences over 35 years. And his conclusion, which was radical to me, is that when you look at the core of what happens in these near death experiences, yes, there are some differences. But look at the core of what actually takes place. Don't look at how people interpret it, but look what actually occurs, it is consistent with Christian theology. That was very important to me. And you mentioned the word corroboration, and I'm with you. I mean, you know, when somebody tells me, oh, I died and I met Jesus and these 5 foot ten is brown eyes. I may go, okay, well, I can't corroborate that. But when we have a study that was done of 21 blind people, most of them blind since birth, who, during their near death experiences, could see for the first

Biden Admits COVID Stimulus Checks Fueled Spike in Inflation But Left Doesn't Get It
"Now Here's this Catherine rampal from The Washington Post I mean this is just comical She's on Brian stelter's show the coffee boy there And stouter of course it's just a great scene doesn't understand any of this though right But she's talking about inflation and comically states that Joe Biden has almost no control on what happens with inflation which is really weird because let me read this to you This is an actual headline I'm not trying to be funny I'm not trying to be silly This is an actual New York Post headline Steve Nelson November 10th 2021 Biden concedes his COVID stimulus checks fueled spike in inflation President Biden wins they conceded that inflation's at a three decade high because quote people have more money now as a result of his $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus legislation recognizing essential point made by people who are arguing against a nearly $2 trillion sequel So just to be clear folks Joe Biden himself is now admitting because his lies have become untenable Joe Biden is now admitting that his decision to engage in this bill is the so called infrastructure bill which is really a poor deal spill right Is causing the inflation crisis because they had to print a lot of money to pay for it But here's the media bringing the righty Jim get very Brown get Mariano out of the bullpen and her Sandman bring the right hand No I love Marietta comparing him to these idiots It's an insult to the great Mariano right Bring it we gotta think of a really bad reliever in the past Bring in There we go there's a Rivera was one of the good guys Think of like bringing turd Ferguson out of the bullpen Bring it to the right Turn Ferguson time Here he comes out of the bullpen We have Ricky Vaughn before they put the glasses on Just a bit outside Here they are Here's the media to the rescue out of the bullpen Catherine rampal say no Biden's got nothing to do with it despite the fact Biden already admitted that their printing a bunch of money has a lot to do with it Check this out My general view about all of this is that the media Republicans and now The White House are laboring under the collective delusion that the president can do something about prices that the president controls prices That is incorrect And yet that is the premise of so much news coverage right now whether it's Fox News or other right wing coverage talking about hashtag Biden or saying you know why is Biden not doing more about gas prices or even more ostensibly more neutral or objective news organizations asking officials at The White House Why aren't you doing something about inflation He is all ready admitted the

"You know, check and release is a should be a big part of the game plan this week for the Patriots. Whether it's with tight ends or with running backs. I think that that sort of play is like you said. I mean, it's beat the browns this year, it's something I'd like to see them run a couple times. We saw a good one last week, right? Against the Panthers, it was Brandon Bolden, who that one Mac just floated in over the defensive end. Got it to him. And they picked up a good gain on it. I think checker release should be a part of it. What did you think mister offensive line of my change of pace tackle idea? I just thought of that sitting down right now. I kind of know where I was going with it, but if we're going outside of the box, change of pace tackle. So I remember in 2018 or maybe it was this year. I think it was 2018. Trend brand was talking about how he wanted to flip sides. Oh, that was 2018. I do remember that. Yes. That's what it kind of made me think of. So Trent Brown was saying, and miles Garrett's not typically one of those guys that flip sides, but a lot of these great pass rushers will flip sides. If they like the matchup on the right side, then they'll line up one week. Both the two weeks ago. Yeah, next week, the lineup over the left tackle. And Trent Brown like a cornerback shadowing a wide receiver essentially, wanted to travel with the best on the other team. And I thought, why don't teams do that more often, especially for a guy like Trent Brown that can flip so seamlessly because he has his entire career flip back and forth from left to right tackle. Some guys, as we found out with even a guy like a reserve player, like, Dustin her on. He's a left tackle, right? He's much more comfortable on the left side. Some guys are like that. This guy's a left tackle. He's not a right tackle. But with guys like Trent Brown who are unique that can switch side to side, week to week or game to game or even play to play. I love that idea. And maybe you're onto something, right? Isaiah win is more of the positional. Let's call him finesse blocker to a degree. Turn brown is more of the road greater, the big guy. If he's ready to go, I mean, maybe, yeah, or maybe it's just to keep him fresh, right? It's kind of just a way to make sure that the guy that's going up against miles Garrett is always fresh. Maybe that's another way to do it as well. Well, I mean, great pass rushers like miles Garrett day of moves with like, for people who don't know how we're for the most part with pass rushers. You're trying to get after the quarterback every play, but there's also sequencing to it, right? You're not bringing out your a move on every play, because the other guy's gonna size it up. You know, you go a little harder on someplace than others just it's a game. It's a chess match, right? So really good pass rushers they have set ups and they can be four, 5, 6 place setups where, you know, it's move a then move B, then back to a then C, and it's all leading up to, you know, they know if they hit certain moves in a certain order, the final move is one that they know they can get to the quarterback on..

"Want to get to some of the Odell stuff here in a second Alex and just put a bow on the Odell Beckham junior sweepstakes, pursuit, whatever you want to call it, but some news just coming down right now from ESPN's field Yates is that brown's top running back. Nick Chubb will not play in the game on Sunday, so no Nick Chubb for the browns. I do think this considerably changes the equation for the Patriots defense and how you game plan and scheme up against this brown's offense. Well, it certainly helps, right? You know, you don't have to face running back. And we also know Kareem hunt's not playing, demetrick Felton, who we both really liked during the draft isn't playing. So yeah, yeah, they're in good shape. You know, it's interesting, because I'm sure we'll talk about the Patriots running backs too and Stevenson. Stevenson and Harris both missing practice today. So we've all been talking about all week and we, I mean, me you, Matt, doll if we work with everybody who's covering this game. Yeah. We've been talking about winning upfront, running the football in the trenches all that both teams might have to throw the ball on Sunday and that could be really interesting because I don't think that's what anybody expected. I think it could be fun. But certainly this game kind of taking a hard left turn here in a few days leading up. I actually think that heavily favors the Patriots. Thank you. A passing game. And mainly because I'm confident in the Patriots past defense right now and the way that they've been playing without Odell in Cleveland, we're going to talk about Odell not coming here to New England, but with that Odell in Cleveland, Donovan peoples Jones, Jarvis Landry, they're tight ends. That's what they're working with, really, right now with the browns. And you start to look at some of these pieces. People's Jones is played well over the last couple of weeks about the last month or so. He's been a dynamic downfield threat, but mostly off of play action. And skiing up those deep shots off of PA and you look at deer and as Johnson, he started a couple of weeks ago on that Thursday night game against a Denver Broncos an averaged over 6.6.

"Unbelievable ally really in the same key. Your football expert. Are you gonna come out of that game if they beat tampa bay and say this is a team that can contemporary super bowl or if the browns win the chiefs against the cheese. Will you come out of that game. The browns a team. That can win the super bowl with more. I would probably come more out of the cowboy game than the browns game. Because i believe that the cowboys need something. They need something to get them to believe that they actually can do the cleveland. Browns did that already. Well i would say here's the end that that will get them to believe. They already believe they can do it the day believe they can do it. The cowboys don't believe they can do it yet. The differences like. How do they win. If the cowboys defense looks good. I might say okay but even if the cowboys win the defense. I'm not going to believe in them. But in the in the afc we ask the same thing every year. Yeah but can you beat kansas city ca poltimore. Up kansas city buffalo. Can you be kansas city. Cleveland can you beat kansas city and again they lost by like five points. They can beat kansas city even week one. I think that means more than the cowboys. Beating the bucks unless key. The cowboys defense shows that nothing feels better than beating a super bowl champion with tom. Brady nothing coming off a super bowl. You bring all twenty two back. You got all your coaches. You getting ready to shoot two. You're getting ready to drop the banner on our head in turn on the lights and then we go into your stadium l. national tv on a thursday night and pop you key. You don't think that feels good. Polls to beating a kansas city chief team that we barely lost to and we already jumped over the hump last year by making albums. Aren't nobody ever thought that we would ever be anything. But let me let me bring back a point that you brought a couple of days ago because we were talking about tampa bay and their route to win a super bowl and you said well you beat a washington team. That had a good defense but really didn't have a quarterback being new orleans team where drew brees. You know happy ribs right without ribcage. You beat green bay where the miscommunication the floor and airlines kansas city. Their line so that almost. I hear what you're saying but in kansas city. Kansas city was smacking people last year in the end in the end. I just beat the greatest quarterback of all times an team that just wanted them super bowl no matter how they got it fair point. Yeah but you know what. Here's here's the difference for me unless the defense shows up. I still don't believe in the cowboys even if they win. I believe in the browns. If they beat the chiefs. I already kind of believe in it or they beat the chiefs. Oh listen th these are. These are some great stories. I believe in two. I believe in them too but remember the question who has more to gain not who you believe in you like the cowboys. We liked the browns. He's got an argument. According to what. I stopped trying to conversation. We're asking who has the most to gain in week one on the dr pepper call in line. Eighty eight say. Espn seven to nine three seven. Seven six guitar to sneak in a call here No yes no. It will do that coming up. The browns are not the only nfc team. Sorry nfc afc north team with a lot on the line in week one We'll tell you that who that.

That were probably means. It's an early season bucks team. They'll get hot later. There's plenty but the browns. What i'm saying the reason it's so much to gain is their legitimacy. Even internally we see building last year built it built through the playoffs especially importantly against pittsburgh big radius. But they've already gotten over. That hump was getting better winning a playoff game something that they had done forever. The dallas cowboys. What was the last time. They beat anybody that was anything but if the dallas cowboys win considering what they were last year six and ten that game with dock where they won against atlanta which was atlanta in that moment. The browns a team. That can win the super bowl with more. I would probably come more out of the cowboy game than the browns game. Because i believe that the cowboys need something. They need something to get them to believe that they actually can do the cleveland. Browns did that already. Well i would say here's the end. That will get them to believe. They already believe they can do it the day believe they can do it. The cowboys don't believe they can do it yet. The differences like. How do they win. If the cowboys defense looks good. I might say okay but even if the cowboys win defense on not going to believe in them but in the in the afc we ask the same thing every year. Espn seven to nine three seven seven six. Get time to sneak in a call. Here no yes. No it will do that coming up. The browns are not the only nfc team. Sorry nfc afc north team with a lot on the line in week one We'll tell you that who that.

"I think they're bailing us out in that like 'cause like to me he's paid. That's too early for me. He's going ahead of juju smith schuster. He's going ahead of michael. Thomas like if you're going to take a flyer in that range on an injury prone wide receiver that has massive upside. Why wouldn't it be michael. Thomas odell beckham. junior has missed at least four games in three of the past four seasons since joining cleveland okay. He's wide receiver thirty nine on the points per game basis. Thirty nine thirty nine since he's been in cleveland on points per game basis wide receiver. Thirty nine point nine games. He's had three games. Only three games in cleveland where he's had more than twenty points. He's had two games with over one hundred receiving yards and i bet one of them was that monday night game against the jets where he took that one past ninety yards or whatever you want to prevent exactly and so you know thursday. Kyle found this seventy fifth out of eighty nine qualified wide receivers in fantasy points per target since he joined the browns and obviously some of that is the touchdowns and they tried to get on the ball. Hit that weird year where they just could not get on the ball in the end zone. Despite you know throwing it to him a ton but like michael. Why would you not want. Juju smith schuster or michael thomas. Both of whom have also been elite. Fantasy receivers candidly more recently than odell beckham has. Yeah you know. And i don't know that. Michael thomas injuries concerns are any than beckham's at this point in their careers. It's kinda reminds me of the emotion side of fantasy football. Because what's the expression. Fool me once. Shame on you for me twice. Shame on me and it's going to happen with people this year. Right is there is going to stay to themselves. I know they're done. Yeah i was a world where odell finishes a top five wide receiver as you noted but i also drafted him last year and he did very little consistently up until he got hurt so i do wonder if maybe that. Adp will correct itself little bit as we get closer and closer to this field. Can i ask a real quick question because they were moving on here. Other than those who pass catchers. You basically ever shot higgins and donovan people's jones. Neither of those guys are guys that you really targeting redraft leaks. But i don't think so interesting donovan people's jones do you like him. He's getting a little. Bit of actually like higgins interrupt. I do so higgins. Is they reside in this off season. He's back for one more year. But what's interesting about the browns. An again turn into salary cap. But the browns have a lot of players who are young about to get paid paid like myles. Garrett baker needs to get paid at some point. Nick nick just got paid. They got a lot of money currently sunk into two wide receivers. Odell and jarvis landry. At some point you're going to have to make difficult decisions across your roster. Those are two players that are often speculated upon as potential trade or lease candidates. Down the line not right now. So i mentioned that only because a year from now this wide receiver group could look very very different. I don't have like i grew. Higgins is my favorite. Because i know the most about them at the same time he could also be gone a year from jeb. Like the one of the last picking dynasty league graph was anthony schwartz. Yep a rookie at auburn that they like a lot like i can fly. He can absolutely fly so like that's a guy that i'm stashing. And our dynasty lead a year from now. Maybe he something. The bill eventually comes due in the browns who have a lot of success..

"The matter of time isn't it. Yeah just just the fact. That wasn't hugh jackson was in the news today. Actually it was complaining. Yeah basically complaining. They didn't really get a fair shot. Fair i mean he. He only went to is about to turn one winning two seasons. Yeah yeah that's the way. I think he's got the farish shot of anybody ever. Yes jeff fisher. Have had the most fair shots shena tim couch she got. You put through the ringer too long. How many names do you think you can name on the on the famous jersey. Go hugh jackson says. Brown's ownership lied to him about the rebuilding process. I guess he thought we know miss coach to buddy use browser of lying about the nature of the rebuilding processing cleveland. Jackson said jackson said in cleveland that the extent to which the decision makers would use wasn't as close to him when he took the job. There's no doubt. I was lied to by ownership and leadership of the team. Jackson said they were going to be football plus analytics but it was football verse. Analytics jackson said he plans to publish. A book about is experiencing cleveland story. He says hasn't been accurately told. I think i became the fall guy because that was the narrative the truth needs to come out for other minority coaches. They need to know the pitfalls out there. My story has affected some of their futures jackson set. Jackson said he signed a contract extension. The middle of the twenty seventeen season when the browser owen eight and had gone one in fifty in the year before but has them wouldn't announced the deal. I got a contract extension at one and twenty three midway through the season. Jackson said our to go public with it but the browns didn't i can't imagine why little doubt that deserves a fair amount of the blame for the browns lack of success since he bought the team. But the reality is a lot of coaches have come and gone since has on bought. The browns and none has had as bad a record as jackson. Yeah it's today nerds and nerd sucked at it too. They both suck. The nerd sucked sucked. You start saying you. Under the impression that this wasn't like a results based in distract. You thought that you know they'll just let me go through two seasons about winning games. I'm curious how how the how a contract talks wet like well. You did manage to win a game but you also have lost twenty three others and your own eight this season but sure no. Let's talk about next to you. That's a great idea. Yeah no definitely. We'll definitely put together the contract extension for next year. We're just Let's let's not tell anybody about it. Do you think his about jumping in. The lake was part of that contract negotiation. He like make that part of his deal. He's like why i'll do this. But you guys won't say anything..

Forty two thirty nine and there's a forty one yard play that lateral so so lucky. It was also also the faculty to get that many blame dwayne for celebrating their. Yeah no exactly but this is just one of those stereo typical losses that as a browns fan. Just tears your heart because you will that close and it almost almost lost technicality. You know team week. One start the season really well was just finding creative ways to lose games. you know. we'll just losing regular normally get your aspect. Whatever but to get a sack that was it actually a sack with a flick with a run with a penalty attack don. It's just just silliness in two thousand hundred. Cleveland browns team that went nine and seven nuts where they made the playoffs played. The pittsburgh steelers lost thirty six thirty three in the game. Greg talked him but they win. they were. They opened the season with that win. Maybe there are ten and six maybe They're not playing the wildcard. Maybe they're playing second round the playoffs. You know who knows you never know what could have been but because as we all know not. A fan of referees referee zandi not a fan of referees out as a browns fan may be the worst loss in browns. History is against jacksonville in two thousand and one week. Fourteen browns sitting at five hundred six six looking to keep their playoff hopes alive looking at try. Get in the playoffs for the first time in a long time down. Fifteen to ten sixty eight seconds left in the game. Browns are driving greg's boy. Tim couch tim sofa. Tim said he whatever you'd like to call them. Looks like he appears to complete a three yard. Throw to quincy morgan on fourth and to jacksonville. Twelve setting up first and goal right clocks tick tick tick tick tick tick couch. Hurries everybody to lines spikes ball boom after we spikes the ball terry mcaulay the the head referee signals that the morgan completion before the spike is under review. Even though and dude at the rule is yeah once another player has run the play before. Care like it's over. That's you've seen teams like the patriots start running re running as soon as a questionable. 'cause we runs up and just like tries to run a play real quick to to get that second playoff before the play can be reviewed. This exactly what happened. But the referees reasoning is that the replay booth buzzing before the spike play was run but he had to confirm it with another official. That the buzz. It happened before the play was run. And so of course this being the browns. They reviewed the play.

"No there's no fair weather fans in cleveland browns are. There's no fairweather. No no it wouldn't be leaving a game no matter how bad they be one thousand two wildcard. Remember this one of the only playoff games on this list your steelers endings. Thirty six thirty three down. Twenty four seven comeback twenty nine points nineteen minutes in the game. The browns are up twenty four seven with gord in the third quarter as tough. It's one of those early. Two thousands playoff gains fields. all muddy. everyone says browns-steelers smash mouth. They just they were up. Led the whole game and chris format to ma five hundred and twenty seven yard scrimmage no touchdowns in the regular season in the whole season. Last fullback is one bad foul. He had he has more apostrophes in his last name than he had touchdowns on the season. He has more than one pasta. Yeah that's what i'm saying. And then he's the one that's going to score the touchdown and then ran tom and l. frozen two point conversion to see what's neutral browse never even snuff unbelievable whole contra for like four hundred yards in that game though he did and they some tom. There's a bunch of chipping before the before the game started as well is just. It was just tough especially the playoffs. You know it makes it so much. Yeah i mean because some of these are big blowouts. Some of them are are like will. So which would you say is worse getting blown out. Even if it's at home on monday night or europe big and you you lose in comeback fashion like a twenty eight to three. Yeah i think you lose big. You know because that's worse it's all sort of blend together eventually and it's really painful losses that stick with you right. Yeah okay. that's what i'm saying. Yeah and especially. I think it adds more to when it's the playoff game as well off the playoffs either. Both of those are worse than the playoffs are worse in both of those. You know just in general. Because i don't think this'll be a top ten loss if if it was in the playoffs. It's just another. They lost nineteen the loss of twenty four seven lead. It's worse their next game on the list. Two thousand one week. Eight chicago bears in overtime. Twenty seven twenty one. I remember this game up. Twenty one seven one minute to play air score thirty seconds left recovered the onside kick sensing trend here and then convert a thirty four yard. Hail mary as time expires title. His create more fights because he's insulting of people's intelligence. And it's like it's this not years ago when he came into the league, this people a savvy the thing, they have something called the internet. They have something called social media when he can get a lot of information. They could get players chirp lot players talk. You it's a different world. Well, but I mean task it. Okay. He's put he's also. I mean, why not just be open and honest, why not just be a case of you don't wanna show week this. That's what I think it is. It is a really show weakness to say that you need better from Eli. When it was asked that question test and say, well, listen as an organization. We weren't exactly sure where we're gonna go at the end of the season. We looked at the way that we went back and watch the game film. We analyze what was going to be available via free agency or trade as an option a quarterback. And right now ally manning is our best option to win and to win in two thousand nineteen is our best option at quarterback for the giants in two thousand nine hundred. What's the problem saying that there's honesty there's no problem? And that's basically what the giants dead, but to circle back to the backup thing it's the same thing with that. It's like one minute. He says that we didn't pay this money to trade if they get rid of them. And then they turned around the deal. They're trying to deal, right? He's trying to act like that sound bite. We heard like moose. It's like I was just an offer. I couldn't refuse. It's like he was just sitting back and Beckham he's on all team. He's a giant. But yet there's offer came in and they just couldn't refuse you search the officer. You did so called the Buffalo Bills. And you you you want them to work a deal out with the belt? And the San Francisco forty trash. That's right. So he's trying to deal the. Why would he call every team? At that stage. And you've come to a decision. All right. Let's see where the value is for Becca. We've got a ways to go tasks we've got a lot of needs. We're tearing it down. Why not then call every single team outside the NFC east? You're train them. The eagles. You're not trading. The redskins. You're not trading. Dallas cowboys. Why would you then call every other team in the National Football League? If the Browns gave you an offer you couldn't refuse. Maybe there was another team. Me give you maybe there was another team that was so desperate that was willing to give you even more. So hang on. So he called the Niners. He called the bills who else to call the Browns and the Browns the Browns Dorsey so spills at forty nine Brown's got the second pick. Maybe this is water and the bills got the ninth pick babies trying to get teams that he could work something out what what the drive, but no going to give you the number two or the number nine selection, and that kind of a trade the Browns gave you the seventeenth selection. But maybe you could get a future first round. Right. Maybe maybe maybe you could get a maybe you could get a pick from you know, who knows? I mean, maybe the Jacksonville Jaguars rolls. When love to add an old L Becker. Their offense is I don't know financially whether or not they could access with that because they're paying a lot of their defensive stars amount of money, and they just gave foles eight million dollars over the course of the next four years. So I mean, but TASR why wouldn't you do your due diligence with that dad compound it, and then you bring up the Landon Collins scenario planning who walks out of the so the idea of you don't give up on talent, you don't walk away. So he said, well, we didn't give up on talent. Because I got three assets for one, right? I traded Odell Beckham junior. I get the seventeenth pick the ninety six and I got Gebreel peppers or starting safety is going to step in for Landon Collins. However, if you as an organization already made the decision that you were not going to sign the Collins to a long term deal, and you're not gonna franchise him after the season. And you were offered a fourth round draft choice for Collins last NFL trade deadline. Why would you not trade him? He comes out with this explanation yesterday that that would. Send the wrong message to the team. Dave, you got the sick Stovall pet heap stakes you you to build it. Help the mess. Wouldn't that be? But here's the deal won't that be the right? If you did not want to sign him tasks, listen, I want that actually be the right message to send because it would be a case of wealth. They could trae Landon Collins then nobody's job. Nobody's safe. Right. Nobody said, yeah. I think it would be if you as a message. I'm not signing him. And that was the giants decision that it was too rich for their blood. They weren't gonna franchise them. They weren't gonna sign them. And they didn't make that decision. Two days before the tag. They made that decision basically a couple of months ago. Of course. So you knew at that stage. Probably by the NFL trade deadline tasks they had an idea moving forward. The season was over Caesar was loss of what not gonna do one depth night necessarily not have been the wrong message put the right message to send now only that isn't that. The smart business decision to trade. Landon Collins and not let them walk out the door to add that to a head scratcher that too. I mean. You know, I feel like get up in the movies making and I'll tell you just in the New York area. I mean, people are not exactly doing backflips over of what's been going on with him really seriously like, and and again, the Beckham thing to me besides and I love I love these guys. Yeah. Okay. They're gone now. But the Beckham things just I'll I just don't I don't I'll never understand that. This guy is a guy that I feel you want to retire him in your jersey you want to put him once he goes into the hall of fame. You want him to go in as a New York Giants. And whenever his off field stuff is it's nowhere near like Antonio Brown. Was you gotta work that out you Sherm, discipline wise. It's gotta be worked out whatever the hell happened there. I think it's just they didn't like him. And he didn't like them. I just take some disdain that. That's what I can take. Why the giants grow tired and frustrated by the act, and they just wanted to get rid of it. And wanted the focus to be on the field. Well, not all this nonsense off the football field task. That's what the giants did. I think ultimately that's why they made the decision to make the trade. And they got a trade that they were comfortable and making impairing off Odell Beckham junior, but the gallon wants to tell you it's purely a football decision to hear from you at eight five five two one two four CBS eight five five two one two four two two seven should the giants be more transparent about ally. And the Odell trade want to hear from you. It's task to the moose on this Tuesday morning right here. CBS.

"My what are you? What do you think of me proposing a year away from football a second chance? And and then that is a and you have to go through a full protocol. In terms of rehabbing yourself in regular therapy. Absolutely. Absolutely. I would be all on board with that. And I'm sure a lot of players in owners probably would be as well. I think he at least set precedent. And know exactly what is is in your way. If you commit this crime. If there is this kind of crime of abuse that there is something in that says this you're gonna miss an entire year. You're not going to be around the players. You're not gonna be able to practice. You not get paid leave. You are out of the league for a year. And then, you know, let's come back to this and reassess this problem again, but I Mali I totally agree with what you're saying. Because right now, we just don't know there's so many balls in the air. You just don't know was it is it going to be six months. Is it going to be seven months how how long will he be punished for? This this incident. I think it should be listening. Here's a structure, let's move forward. Molly. I like your idea of the year. I think it is firm and yet it does allow for second chances. And let's face it. Sure. There's video evidence of what he did. And then he wasn't forthright at first and all that. But at least he didn't gently point out in a perfectly not only legal way. But along with the rules of the NFL that people of color have always been treated fairly in this country for that you get a lifetime, man. Max, I appreciate that. That's still an important point and important issue. But I do think it muddies the waters on this particular issue where we need to answer some very difficult question. Why hold on because I think this is important on this particular issue. It was clarified for me. And I want to be clear. The producers told me this. I didn't the commissioners nonexempt list, you still get paid. So it is it is raise pitied. But here's the thing. Molly. Here's the thing. Getting paid right now you're saying well Darren would be better to answer that question and when you get paychecks in the NFL during the off season he's now. Right now. Right. When the season starts from the Cleveland Browns. But here's the catch. And I'm not trying to be in the flying the open. It's just easy. Conclusions are hard to arrive at do you punch. Somebody by not paying them when you are still unsure and your investigative process. I understand there's a video with cream hunt. We also we saw. But the idea that something is under investigation means it hasn't arrived at a conclusion, we'll verdict, but do you pay some real? Pizzas. Let me just add another detail. There was the bar fight. Correct. Me if I'm wrong also with Kareem hunt this off season that they're also investigating. And then he also lied to Kansas City about what happened. I would say this will I understand what you mean about it muddies the waters because this is a serious issue that should be dealt with on its own particulars. But really what we're talking about here. And the reason some people have a problem with bring up the question is this too soon you even brought up should the should teams. Even take a look before this has been concluded before the league is investigated. Believe will you brought that up Molly Darrin Molly did. But so so the reason we're asking those questions is because the league has put an emphasis on this in order to demonstrate the values that they think are important as the league. And my point is simply it's difficult for people to take them seriously about this being an important value for them in light of capper, Nick, I think that issue looms over the league as it results to who gets second chances. Oh capture Nick did anything wrong, which he didn't. And who doesn't who plays in the NFL? And who doesn't what values does does the NFL hold most? Dear. Apparently this issue does not rank as high as not standing for the national..

"That's how he swayed, and that's no way to run a business. It's not. And I think that he was one of those guys it's not only that he's not been able to hire people well or see it through. But I think that like so much of Cleveland, he has a glass half empty meal if things, and I think that all of the negativities the Cleveland history has served real it can be very destructive in the building and accelerate things. And you know, I think that that to a certain extent played into it. Also, just you know, things get so bad, especially those two years, you know, where Sasha and Hugh, I mean, those were bad, here's 'cause you know. Everybody knew the Browns. We're gonna lose. They ended up losing worse than they even expected you and then they were fighting over why and band that get ugly? You can follow him on Twitter at Seth wicker Shem ESPN the magazine Seth bookish join in Spain and fits and Seth. I mean, Freddie, kitchens was a debate, Sarah. And I had as we were trying to figure out if this was the smartest thing the Browns have done or just the Browns being the Browns in hiring somebody that wasn't even almost radars. Just a few months ago. Did you get any sense when you were going through the process of putting this article together, did you get any sense of sort of Freddie, kitchens in and why he should feel or why fans should feel more secure about where the franchise is going. Well, he did it. I'd rebel job is offensive coordinator through the last eight games of the season. I know they were very smart people around the league where it kinda wondering why he didn't get more interest as a head coach from other teams. But at the end of the day, I think that you know, what matters a lot. I think is much as his ability as a coach. And his ability to put Baker Mayfield in a successful position. Is the fact that he and John Dorsey has to make this work together. I think that is a big deal because again, so many of these guys have gone down not only because of losing. But because of just the unbelievable infighting in that building, and you know, that contributes it's just it just does there's no way around it. And that creates a very toxic actress fear and makes it impossible to win. And I also think it'll be interesting to see how they handle Baker because you saw like with the Washington Redskins a couple years ago. We're Dan Snyder falls in love with RG three owners love to fall in love with franchise quarterbacks and that can become very dangerous. Also where the quarterback ends up undermining everybody else on the team. Would you give the same answer to Browns fans after doing all the research and writing this as you would have before when they asked you if they should be hopeful about going forward. Yeah. Because the quarterback hasn't changed. Only gotten better. I think the question would be, you know, can they keep him getting better? And can't they keep him, you know, defensive. We're going to have a year to study him. And can they keep him a head of the game? And you know that to be. Is going to be going to be vital. But again, it's like whatever reason it happened. Whether it was luck talent, the floods hit of all the station. They ended up with a guy who looks like he could be a legit franchise quarterback. The guy is unique player his person, and he could be a fixture and icon in that city and the only thing besides injuries that could get his way is the team's history. That to me is going to be the most fascinating thing to watch the next couple of years. Be sure to check.

Sometimes you find about out about dysfunction in championship culture, and it rocks your world, but other times, you can still find out about this function where it already exists, and you knew it existed, but just reading about it still shakes you to your core. That is where Cleveland Browns fans are right now. Spain and Fitz on ESPN radio the ESPN app. Siriusxm channel eighty Sarah. Spain Jason Fitz. Look, there's one reason everybody wants to talk about the Browns ad nauseam and has because there's this feeling of hope or around the quarterback situation. And there's this feeling that things have gotten better. But there's also this reminder that is much as we want to believe in the hype around Baker Mayfield in the future of the Browns. There is a level of dysfunction that has gotten the franchise to where it is right now Seth Wicker's from does a great job breaking it down. It's on the dot com right now. And when you read the inside story of the Cleveland Browns dysfunction is. Even worse to read than I thought, it would be in my mind yet, you know, I think talking about the dysfunction of the Browns was a bit like rubber necking a car crash over the last however long because it was apparent via their record the turnover at the coaching position. The the the flubs whether they be getting fined for texting on the sidelines or the amount of money that they owed coaches that they had let go mid contract all of it. Now, it feels like this is a particularly interesting dive into an organization because there is hope and because looking at having a resource like Baker Mayfield and looking at having a coach who managed despite all the overwhelming weight of failure. There to look competent to bring them victories to make good on the talent that they had all of those pieces then make this a hopeful time for Browns fans until you question whether or not they can really overcome. What is still a management and organizational? Head that has brought upon himself. And this franchise so much failure of late like has them still there. Right. And so if this what you and I have been talking about we were trying to figure out whether this was a good coaching position that people would want or not sure it looks like it draft picks, Baker, etc. But it's really still a poop Sunday with just a cherry on top until you can figure out whether that stench is gone and whether they've moved into a fully new era. Well, and I think the ownership portion of it is the most defeating portion of it because you we've joked before and really tried to educate people before you can really despise your team's coach your team's GM the players you cannot like your favorite your favorite teams quarterback. You can go across the board and be mad at any of these positions. Knowing full, well, there's an opportunity that it will change. You can't do anything about ownership being bad at their job. And that's what we what I think the deep dive Seth wicker Shim does such a nice job. And he's the guy that sort of broke into so much information around the patriots. And it was it was I opening. It's still I opening when you see what the has the ownership group of the Browns is incapable of doing and sort of the repetition that they go through the cycle. They go through of repeating their own mistakes to appoint that it falls on deaf ears. I mean culture has to be fixed. And I don't know how you fix a culture where the ownership assertive tone deaf to the issue and continues to make the same mistakes. Well, the thing is though fits if you look if you sort of read between the lines here, the aren't the exact same mistakes. What's what's continuous there? And what's consistent is that has them is not willing to see anything through long enough. He's willing to buy into a plan, but not patient enough to see if it pays off an I, of course, totally related when it got to the point where he said he was reaching out to other people who had helped turn around failure or had used rebuilds in in a in a beneficial land. One of them was the with the cubs when deal obscene came in. And and cubs fans knew there was going to be a rebuild. It was inevitable that midway through that a year to win when you're looking at a..

"So that's the meteoric leap that happens from the while we drafted somebody. We think it can be great. Wow. Now we've seen him play a little bit. He can be great now. All of a sudden, I think that you're looking at a Browns fan base that realistically says, okay? This should be an eight team that's in the playoff conversation. That's where their mindset is. We haven't seen a Browns coach deal with that level of expectation. While also having the expectation to continue to develop Baker Mayfield, one of the interesting things as we've seen this trend of offense minded coach is taking over is whether or not ownership. GM's people who are doing the hiring are conflicting the offensive coordinator job with the head coach job, and the and the responsibilities of it. Right. Whether or not these people are suited to not only working with the quarterback developing a quarterback being creative offensive minded guy. But also running a team being the CEO of a full team and balancing all those responsibilities. You mentioned already maybe this takes him away from his one on one work with Baker Mayfield. And obviously the reason that he's getting this gig in part is his ability to work well with quarterbacks he was the quarterback coach for Arizona. When Carson Palmer set the franchise record in touchdowns in passing yards in two thousand fifteen. This is a guy who since he took over for the Browns weeks nine through seventeen the Browns averaged six point nine yards per play. The two thousand ramps are the only team since the merger to average more over a full season. It is a small sample size. But this is a guy who's focus was just on. How do I get the most? This quarterback. How do I get the most out of this offense in in just a couple of weeks? And now we're seeing him. Okay. Now, you run everything. And that's the most interesting part to me. We'll get into that a little bit more to is this idea of what they're looking for new coaches, and whether these young inexperienced, but potentially creative guys are ready for the job of being CEO in Spain and Fitz on ESPN radio coming up. What are we actually know about the coaches that have been hired so far we'll try to figure it out next benefits Spain and fits all sorts of coaches being named the head coach positions in the NFL. Couple jobs still open. We'll keep you up to date the very minute. We hear about the dolphins the jets and the Bengals. But in case you were asleep. Today, we got two more in the Browns hiring, Freddie kitchens and the Broncos hiring Vic Fangio, which brings us to a couple of very young dudes that seem to be hired in the hopes that they turn into the next Sean McVeigh, we've got a couple of veterans and Bruce Arians and Vic fan. Jio and fits the through line for all of these Spain and fits by the way with both of us Spain and fits together again on ESPN radio ESPN app, and Sirius XM channel eighty the through line is that all of these coaches, so far have not been minority coaches. And we're going to have mean it comes on to talk about this with a lot of insight from some really well done stories about why the NFL which is seventy percent black players would have such a dearth of minority coaches. But I I wanna talk about it right now specifically in regards to Steve Wilks and the cardinals because I'm just curious if you think there's any way that this is a guy who. Having gotten one year with a rookie quarterback and a team that doesn't have a lot of talent on it. If the same exact thing would happen to a cliff Kingsbury coming in. And and and if so if you believe that like, I do that Kingsbury will get a longer leash why? And how has he earned it in a way that Wilkes didn't think Kingsbury this point has to get a longer lease than Wilkes just because you can't back to back one and done on coaches. But you know, I've decided, and you know, this will enough about me at this point that I'm sort of like if you go into a financial guy, and you have to fill out your risk profile, and you're like how how risk averse my like, I'm so scared of of change..

"Forward to they have to take and how quickly for us to deem kitchens as a success. Well, I think they're going to have to take a step a pretty substantial step this this season because the difference between this Brown's organization and the Browns organization the past is they have hope hope is what comes with a young quarterback so wins. Yeah. Ex exactly and expectations. Come with young quarterback. I mean Baker Mayfield going out and winning six games. Next year is not going to be acceptable Browns fans there that's the meteoric leap that happens from the while we drafted somebody. We think it can be great. Wow. Now we've seen him play a little bit. He can be great now. All of a sudden, I think that you're looking at a Browns fan base that realistically says, okay? "Listen, we've got breaking news. We interrupt this program to let you know that the Browns Chris Chris Mortensen. The more report is reporting that the Cleveland Browns are going to announce Freddie kitchens as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. A lot of things I'm not even saying this, right? Because for context, we we film this podcast a podcast was done. And then the news broke. So we are adding this and Freddie kitchens is the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Joe Thomas, give me your immediate thoughts. Well, another head coaching vacancy that yours truly has correctly assigned the coach to I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm like, the Scott Boris agent, NFL coaches because I just keep getting these things right? But all joking aside. I think it's a tremendous higher. It seems like it is the perfect situation for everybody in that organization. They've gotten a chance to see FREDDY kitchens. His personality. See how we leads see what is offense looks like. And they've gotten a full year trial run, which is great. You know, I think when you hire a head coach there's so many unknowns. But when you hire a guy from within your organization, a lot of those unknowns are gone out the window. Now, clearly when he takes over as head coach it'll be a role he hasn't had before. So there's still some some question marks. But it's going to be a lot less than if you go outside the organization and hire somebody. Plus they've got an opportunity to keep this momentum going the momentum that they build during the season the goodwill that they've built between Freddie, kitchens and Baker Mayfield. This gives Baker and opportunity in a second season not have to start all over again with a new head coach in a new offense. And the big question that remains for me is who is Freddie kitchens going to hires? His defensive coordinator Gregg obvious answer is going to be Greg Williams. It's always a little bit tricky when you interview somebody for your head coach or when he's been interim head coach to go and basically. Demote him and put him back to being defensive coordinator. But a guy like Greg Williams who has as much experience as he does in the NFL who's been a head coach before who seems to be very happy and satisfied in Cleveland. He loves Cleveland. He loves coaching for the Browns. It seems like him. And Freddie kitchens worked really well together. If anybody could make it work, you would think Greg Williams would be the guy that could step back and become that defensive coordinator again and keep this good feeling moving that they've got right now in Cleveland. I think it's good. And maybe that's what sucks so long. Maybe they're trying to work that out like maybe they're trying to secure great Williams, the defensive coordinator to stay there with Freddie kitchens. Keep things in place. The Browns played really really good down the stretch. And for a guy like Baker Mayfield who broke rookie records and exceeded everybody's expectations. It was super important to the organization to keep that in place keep that environment where he thrived just the way it is give them another year to develop give him another year to grow build the chemistry with the coaches with the players and everybody who bought in. And things are looking up with the Cleveland Browns. I'm really excited about this higher. I think they made the right move. We said it from the beginning that, you know, it's a it's a hard hard thing to winning Cleveland as two guys who played for this organization who are still very close to the organization. We've seen coaches come in and out players in and out for an office guys in and out in no one has had the ability to successfully win in that organization. So when these guys put together the resume they did at the end to show. Hey, we have the formula. It's hard to go against that. You don't go outside of that. And go higher known you go with the people who have proven and have on their resume that they have one in Cleveland. Yeah. We got a Baker kitchens in in in Cleveland, just the way it should be just makes too much since the thing..
