"WE'RE GONNA get to know exactly how really feels like a month and a half back to the NFL? Now bleacher report redrafted. The first round of the twenty seventeen draft. This was fun. Check it out. Instead of the browns going with myles Garrett number one overall they had cleveland sake robes with the topic riley. Start with you nick. Rights life would be different. If mahomes didn't go to his home town Kansas City. It would be so different. I went back and watched that super bowl tape when the the cheese ended up winning. And I see nick at the TV staring up. And I look at my little son watching all control and I say that's Nick Right. He's cheering clapping. He's crying he's doing all these different things. None of those things would happen if Patrick Mahomes went to. I went to the firm with the first pick. So Nick Right now. The smile that we see on his face. It's nice ear. The nice beard all this other stuff. None of those things would be happening. We will see the hair. All shoveled beard all over the place if the chiefs did not win the Super Bowl because spectrum. Hard to one of our morning meetings Brian. Nick I I did something yesterday. You would actually like this. I went back and tried to find. Patrick mahomes draft predictions and there was like it was a lot of like Patrick. Mahomes flying up the board. Here's Patrick Mahomes. What about Patrick Mahomes? His Dad was a baseball player but he slings it around and it. It's just a fascinating fascinating. Look on how much uncertainty there was before the draft and to see his rocket ship over rise to lander wonderful Kansas City chiefs. Well and it should be noted he and his land there the chief coming off a division championship another double digit win season and they traded all the way up an extra first round. Pick to go get him because they saw something but hey bleacher report and my friends. Adam left going all the folks. There missed me with this nonsense. We're.

"Doing the best guys every position and that would have been my five as well with the exception. I WOULD HAVE DUNCAN IN OVERBURDEN. The power forward spot but. I think maybe a more interesting way to do it is. What's the most unstoppable five? You can create in any era so you don't know who they're going to be up against. You don't know if it's going to be three point shooting Europe. It's going to be a physical era and to me. You cannot come up with a better. Five-man unstoppable unit in this one. You have steph curry playing point. Who's as only limitation is defense more on that in a moment but he gives you ultimate for spacing you have the ultimate competitor one of the three greatest players ever and the best mid range shooter ever in Jordan at your to do everything greatest player ever at your three one of the most underrated players and arguably the most underrated defender in league history. Four and a guy who in a singular game was arguably the most dominant guy in league. History your five with Jordan. Lebron and Duncan at two three four steps defensive limitations are totally eliminated. You have two guys. That can be ultimate playmakers. There's no answer for shack. And you still have Michael Jordan so wild to me. That's the most unstoppable five doesn't mean anything steps better than magic but I don't know what Iran playing and I need the shooting lyles. That's the five. I'd come up with a lot nick. I'm no you're a numbers guy. I think sards five has twenty one. Mvp's between them yours has fourteen MVP's so just by the numbers Bouchard's imaginary team would be your imaginary team. You know guys when we look at the numbers I I I would put in in this. China changes it just a little bit. We've seen Lebron this year played the point guard or than any time in his career so I was shipped abroad to the point. Guard takes out and now have Michael in Kobe as my garden. Small four right there. So I think as the to Mike Wazzu three vice versa abroad as my point guard. Tim Duncan and shack. You're talking about the most unstoppable team. That's the most unstoppable team you got a bunch of competitor that want to go out every day and score and play defense. I think that would be hard to be on the offensive side of the floor as well as the defense I I understand. Of course Lebron can be. Your point can be your center. He can be everything. That's what the greatest player ever can be. However I want the best version of all these guys so I want Steph from about three years ago. I want Jordan from the early nineties. Not The late ninety S. I Want Lebron from his final couple years in Cleveland where he's not playing point guard. He's kind of playing point forward. I Want Dunkin from the oath real four era and I want shack from ninety nine two thousand and with respect to Kobe. Shooting Guard position is filled with Michael Jordan. With respect to Larry. Bird the power forward position. I need the deepens because I've stepped is filled with Duncan and I think some people are saying where's Kevin Durant in this? Kevin Durant is on the sideline waiting for next next next but this team. Just keep winning. The good news is Kevin. Durant tweeting about it. So we'RE GONNA.

"The best way from Baker and be better is to get the ball of the best player on your team here first. Things first slippers Lupus here. Yahoo senior rinsing goodwill Vince. Thanks for joining US basketball to talk about with you. Start with last night's action last night sixers in Utah to face the jazz and that Guy Joel. EMBIID back from suspension. After his fight with Karl Anthony towns dominant in his return to it's twenty seven seven right there including sixteen of Eighteen from the line sixteen boards as well bad news for the sixers. Though Ben Simmons suffered a sprained a C.. Join join in his right shoulder. He'll be reevaluated. Later today Donovan. Mitchell and the jazz unstoppable six zero four Vinson. What do you think what are the sixers need to do if they want to get over the hump this season and be that team out of the umbrage San Joel embiid was suspended for fighting because that wouldn't fight it with you then? No no no no. I'm from Detroit where basketball players used to really fight back in the day but I don't know if they have the right personnel to be able to make a legitimate finals. Run not from a defensive standpoint because I think right now they're six inefficiency they have lymph across the boy. Al Horford Joel Embiid. Nobody's GONNA be able to go on and it sixth inefficiency. You almost feel like they're underachieving. A bit defensively. This should be a top. Three defense will be. I think it will be yup but when it comes to play basketball you have to be able to have a guy that can create his own offense outside of the structure of the offense last year. The head Jimmy Butler to be able to do that and had not made that incredible shot from the baseline who knows what would have happened on the rest of interested in gaming arrested Iran. But Jimmy Butler. Isn't there anymore. And who knows what you're going to get out of a guy like Tobias Harris who can create his own shot but do you trust him blatant games that you trust. You'll be to run. Your offense threw him late in games. Been Simmons we know can't shoot. Don't shoot and that has not improved until where the where do. Where are they going to file offense? I'm not sure unless they make personnel changes but they've committed five hundred million man dollars in in the personnel that they have this past. The Gate is a totally fair concern. And it's been like joint injury regardless Eh and I hate to be at this place with him but he refuses to evolve is game no matter how many videos we see of the fact that he doesn't isn't have that ugly of a shot like it's the Hell Jaanus shot is ugly like these three point shot. There's a hitch to it. It takes forever to get going going but he will shoot it and even though he's I mean you can't be shooting eighteen percents. He was going into last night's game but he believes attempted. So you can't just stay off ten fifteen feet from him been won't shoot it outside for eighteen feet outside of eight feet and so that has been the issue with them the question with them and we had to buy his hair on this show after he got the huge contract and I can't remember if it was on the air or off the air but I I asked him I said hey into games james the exact situation you're talking about that's gotTa be you right and he said absolutely can he do it. Tobias Harris is an awesome player that a bunch of teams. I've said we don't need like eight Tobias on the magic and the clippers on the six he's and I. I liked bias as a player but when he gets paid the way he got paid when he slides slides into that spot. The in place of Jimmy Butler. It has to be him because he can't be one of your big men can't be Horford or I. It's obviously not going to be Josh. Richardson if it is then. You're in bad shape like an and the guys they got the don't have that much depth because they've allocated so much resources in front court. I liked the rookie rookie. They got but he's a one way player. He's a spectacular defensive player even as a rookie but he's got no offense whatsoever so the only guy that can be as tobias vice chairs and if there's only one option and the whole league knows it and it's an option that that's probably not really what is best suited for eight is a legitimate concern. I still think thank the second best team in the east. I believe in them more than I believe in Boston. I know some people are higher in Boston and I am this year Boston's a nice story. They're not as good as Philly. But how do you get through Milwaukee. If you don't have that guy I don't know if you can think last night's game proves Vincent Point because they're talking about a four point game until Donovan Mitchell takes over and he's the catalyst for that team going on at twelve to run in the second half which really created that separation so yeah the sixers are going to have to find somebody that can get them a bucket in clutch time. I don't think he can be Joel. Embiid you haven't seen historically a lot of big men in NBA history. Be that guy in the critical moment late in the game to take that shot. It's not Ben Simmons. He's shown us that he's not going to be that guy. So your banking on Tobias Harris. I don't know if he's got that element to his game. They're going to have to find that part of it. They're going to have to get somebody to give them that. Identity late in games that can take over. That can get them a bucket especially once we're talking talking about postseason basketball because you know. The intensity ratchet up the defense is a lot better. So who's going to be that guy for the sixers we just don't know. I think that defense is going to give them a chance. Chance Defense will keep the Games close. But you're going to have to have somebody that can create their own without Brett Brown drawn up on the sideline. I don't even know browse capable. Draw enough on the sideline align nothing that. He's not good enough coach. But when you get to the where the margins are thin is he going to be that much of an advantage over my boom hauser over an air expulsed Miami over a Brad Stevens like the east is a little bit different this year at the top than it was last year. Where we know Miami has Guy Jimmy Butler and a seven game series is going to go out and get his own? Boston has a few guys that. Let's say Jayson. TATUM has taken his next step. Let's say Gordon Hayward is fully recovered. Let's Kim Walker Kemba Walker. You have three gosh us now Joel. EMBIID is supposed to be God. If he's the franchise he's supposed to be this thirty point. MVP candidate which. I believe he is. He doesn't have a defined or refined like post game to move into counter. He doesn't have that he jerry on. You can't run an offense out of your big when he saw mechanical and you can sort sort of you can easily easily get to help. Take the ball away from oil at least doing things that he doesn't WanNa do and clearly nobody else's equipped to beat as secondary primary mb the and when beads on the court outscoring opponents by seventeen points per one hundred possessions. He's been sensational. which is one of the reasons why by the way we all laughed about a call to fight? Call it not he. He can't getting suspended Joel. EMBIID you can't get into that. Because the three game. Since the suspension they won the first one barely thanks to Cork Mas hitting that three at the Buzzer. They lost the next one and then with his first game back even though he said go he twenty seven and sixteen yet but he was five of sixteen from the field. He was making his money. The free throw proline they needed. Joel embiid not knocking some rust off last night. Maybe they win that game. What embiid needs to do is pay the fifty grand or whatever kimes charging these days to go down to Houston Houston for a long weekend and work on some post work on some back to the basket work? But I don't know who that guy is for Philly and it doesn't have to be a great great player what you're talking about. is they need a Lou Williams. They need help it. Jamal Crawford maybe not at this age but a guy like that that even if if he is not your one or two option a guy that can just break people down. What they need is the Guy Mitchell's turning into and they don't have? That is the gaping aping hold on their roster. And it's going to. I agree with you. I think they're going to win. Fifty seven games. I think they're going to be in the Eastern Conference finals. They WANNA get there there. You can't name a team in the past past Millennia in this millennium of e either side that got into the final without a guy that can get his own shot and Eastern Conference when they make fun of it and everything else but these other teams are better equipped even if they are better teams better offers up and down. But when you're talking about playoff basketball you can get one guy I can still you a game. And that's the difference in assuming.

"To the BROWNS. Now it's hard to imagine back in August. That team with so much talent could implode the way they have well out of the insults injury. Speculation Odell Beckham junior could be on the trade bloc bleacher report spoke to anonymous team officials who said teams could come calling if they keep losing quote the volkers will be circling if the browns keep sucking. Nick sure the BROWNS actually consider trading. Ob Jay this off season. This is I want to make this clear because I relation to with Dell. I've talked to Odell about any of this. This is just my opinion. What's exclusively man? I hope teams come calling. I WANNA see Odell play with a good quarterback. I thought he was playing going to get his first opportunity. Thirty now once upon a time was a good quarterback. So del got there. He was on the back end and WH- by year three zero Dell was finished and they just were continuing to try them out. There Odell has never had a season where his quarterback was above league average in passer rating. Never despite the fact that when your target. Oh del this year. Notwithstanding is Baker's number bad targeting anybody he allies passer rating was like one fifteen when targeting Odell and in the seventies when targeting even having Odell couldn't bring that up up above league average we all the great wide receivers e get at least a moment in their career with a great quarterback. You know our friend Chris Carter order he talks about. When did he set the NFL record? When Warren Moon was his quarterback those two years Fizi has always been great? When was he at his best when he had Kurt Warner briefly randy? What is an all time? Great but randy in the very beginning when Randall Cunningham was an MVP caliber quarterback and the Oh seven season when he had Tom Brady like the Julio's always had Matt Ryan and we can pick apart Matt Ryan but Matt Ryan at his best is excellent. Maybe had big Big Ben. I mean you're seeing this year Hell Tyler Lockett having been success. You know why. Because he's got a star deandre hopkins gets to play with the Shawn Watson after going through the osweiler's in the weeds and the Gabbard throughout his career. That I want to play with a good quarterback and I do believe Baker can be via good quarterback again but yet if you're the browns for your sake you need offensive lineman for Odell Sanity. I'd like to see him. Go to a team with a quality quarterback trek. So you can't say no you can't do it. Even though he is the best player on the team. Well the second half of two thousand eighteen had us all believing that the browns were a lot closer to being a playoff contol. Aw Short rides edible. Most people were thinking that they could be a playoff team or at least challenge for a playoff spot and twenty nineteen. That has not been the case so to me. The wide receiver position is akin to the running back position. In this regard that is more of a finishing piece rather than a piece that you build around and right now. You're not getting the utility would be looking for for God. It's going to take fourteen point. Two five million on your cat in twenty twenty now. I think the browns have. Some flexibility flexibility is an opportunity there because Odell only has a two seven five cap hit if they decided to move on from this coming off season. So if you're Freddie Kitchens if your your job well I probably won't be there but if you're on Dorsey. Maybe that's a decision that you consider trading Odell because the browns they need players not just one one player and I think that Odell is one of the assets that can bring back a hall to jump start to rebuild process and as as ineffective as the browns have been as awful as bakers been still on pace for about twelve hundred yards. He is now his touchdowns Hudson cliff because they won't throw him the Red Zone. He's got four red zone targets this year. Your which is an absolute travesty. Eight Games yeah. Because one and that one touchdown came on a drive where the place I started in the other teams red zone and he just took an eighty yards against the New York. I mean you're seeing it right there. They won't throw him the ball in the endzone instead thrown into Calloway and the and the tight ends and it's just an absurdity and so the the browns have systemic issues and even the biggest Odell Beckham critic cannot cannot blame him for them this year. The biggest the worst thing. He's done this season. is where a watcher where different shoes. He has not been part of the problem but if they we are not going to figure out how to if you the joke with Chris canty mostly because I'm jealous of it. 'cause Chris game he owns a Bentley. Ain't no point in owning if you can't drive exactly and right now. The browns have a Bentley that just sit in the garage and your occasionally taken out for a Sunday stroll like that. That's not the best use of the reason yet for the last couple weeks all we hear about from Baker and Freddie Kitchens is we're going out of our way we got four sim the ball. We're going to try to find a way. We Are Game Plan Frontier and we've got a scheme for for him to get the ball and yet as soon as the game starts. Odell doesn't get the ball if you're ob Jay. Would you want out of clean one. Well if I'm Jay. I consider it just because they're not using me the way that he thought he was going to be used when they traded for keep in mind with the browns gave up they gave up a former number one. Pick number one round pick Gebreel peppers they gave up the seventeenth overall. Pick this past Asher and a third round pick so I mean you're not trading all of those assets away for guy that you're not going to use based on the statistics from Odell this season. Yeah I mean. They're not throwing him the ball in situations where they should be trying to get it to him. Last week's game against the Denver Broncos case employees fourth-down. He's got one on one covers. An an old L. is putting his hands up for Baker Mayfield to throw him the ball. I understand that sometimes the coverage might tell you to throw it to a certain player put in that situation got to have it game on. WanNa line cody. Your best play by the L.. Is Your best player. And in if you're gonNA forced the ball in double coverage to a guy that's when you you can the only guy on the team can forcible on double coverage to his Odell instead down five you have Odell. streaking down the sideline. Not only for the first down for the game winning touchdown he doesn't don't even look to him so the for the record I don't think they're going to trade him. I think they are going to put all of this season this debacle at the feet of Freddie Kitchens and and just say it was all on him. Baker is going to be fine. John Dorsey is going to wipe his hands of it. Because Dorsey by the way is that we we give John Dorsey. A ton of credit. Help a building. Green Bay help build it in Kansas City. Dorsey traded away Zeitler. Dorsey is the one that prioritized Odell over upgrading. The offense wind door sees the one that hired Freddie Kitchens instead of hiring a coach who you had more certainty about. They're going to blame this on kitchens. They're going to run the same team back next year. And we'll see how much it's better they are but Baker's gotta be better.

"A tackle it's harder to get these deals done at the trade deadline because you know you've got a gun to your head and you gotta move bias they really had a much bigger market earlier and they dug their heels in untrained Williams and I don't get what I know now I think in their mind they're like okay if we don't trade him now then we'll get something in the offseason firm but man I look listen it's the Redskins I don't understand why they do the business they do and I think most of US lead we'll back you up on that okay let me talk about two teams that are interesting the Philadelphia Eagles do some things well they I think they're run downhill throw the tide and on play action team they could use some speed outside to Sean Jackson's older and injuries Bobby Anderson of the jazz do you think Philadelphia makes a move in the next several hours who else who was trying they're throwing it away they their GM Howie Roseman he trust just win the way and he called everywhere and trying I don't have a lot of money I just talked to some people in Philly they're like we're trying it's GonNa take a lot right now don't don't they were trying they were really trying to bring in a playmaker for that team on at corner at receiver trying Okay New England offensive line no he's not a bust at all he just he hadn't played much at all he's is there a you believe takeout Trent Williams takeout Jamal Adams do you think there's another player GonNa get moved.

"He told me how dangerous they were. That's what you sound like used to write in Akron that's Cleveland is sexy endangers other new and five not the they're not they're not the Cleveland browns zine about the mood swings because if you talk to people in Boston and talk to people in Cleveland that if play around the team at that time and they said he me and the story that Jackie roll about the incident in China where she said they were taking the team picture and Kyrie wouldn't take off his hat and he told them to photoshop it when they ask like photo shop it out that is really bothersome mood swings tough enough to deal with but if it's that of arrogance absurd that's going to rub guys the wrong way and if you have a situation like this subversive it's it's been it's been difficult just being because you can like for no reason what you need in a situation like this is a strong leader and Lebron look we know what the tweets and the grand they Lebron he's not perfect but he was a strong leader and there was no doubt that that locker room and that team was going to be set by brand the tone of it was going to be set by Lebron and even though you had to assist situation with Kyrie you still end up winning a championship now the question it is who's going to be that leader who sets the trees the leader right now is his team when Katie comes back Katie I mean he's Kyrie's artist I'm GonNa let him do what he does that's fine that's your boy you great friends and I get it but that's not the leadership they're going to need to win the championship so are they capable of winning a championship Katie and Kyrie yes but if I had to bet on it I bet they do not win the championship I like I don't like Kevin Durant unnatural launder for the first time in his life got great support from Kerr they put their arms around him and as a natural wander this happens just not just athletes when your natural wander based on you know your childhood and you never kind of feel embraced when somebody finally does embrace you Draymond a pain in the butt but he's a loving pain in the Butt Kerr Bob Myers I think Kevin Durant chose Kyrie over staff he chose structure over whatever that is in Brooklyn I think K. D. I really think it was a massive mistake I've said it from the beginning I think Kevin Durant left the first place that loved him and put arms around him and he just naturally said that's not perfect that's like dude it life's not perfect that was pretty good in San Francisco I think okay see loved him too and I love no I think they did but his remember the stories that came out is that he went to the organization a couple of times and said guys you gotTa sit down with Russ he gives me ball with the second shock ride and even though they did love him he could have interpreted it as they're not listening to me Kinda defend Katie there you cannot tell me the warriors didn't bend over backwards for Katie they did the whole team went out to recruit him here's the other thing because k. d. we know it was never going to be his team and he felt that but here's the thing if he just not played in is funding knows or even if he got hurt and what happened happened that changed the narrative what I thought the fact that they didn't win without him that they clearly needed mm-hmm it would've changed everything it was always going to be Steph team to a large degree but now it was slowly moving toward maybe being both of them more people recognize Katie was the best player even the players staff and clay they all recognize he was the player so had he gone back to golden state the narrative would have been different it wouldn't have been Katie jumped on the bandwagon one title that a lot of great players could have done it would have been they need to be a championship team and that's what he lost the only way career wise is not a regret if he wins it in Brooklyn that's the only way NAFEA wizard in Brooklyn that is.

"Google. All is a nice beat the waiver wire we should've mentioned him san francisco for cisco allowed four point one yards per carry the running backs last year they held alvin cook kareem hunt david johnson twice todd gurley saquon barkley and chris carson once up two games to fewer than seventy rushing yards so i don't know i thought it was a good matchup but maybe it is not and no hesitation at all with obviously eban's but with godwin must start must start okay. Do you care about this in d._f._s. I know you're starving seasonal but o._j. Howard the niners niners allow the fourth fewest fantasy points tight ends on they did not allow more than forty six yards to a tight end in any of their last nine games and only one touchdown in that stretch but i think a lot of that was the competition they played so you know what do you think about howard. I think he's not worth the squeeze. He's the fourth most expensive tight end on draftkings. Evan ingram's cheaper under henry is cheaper. Dan waller much much <hes> so look if you're going to spend spent five thousand on o._j. Howard maybe opponent but extra eleven hundred hertz or you dial down two hundred seven ingraham. I actually liked hunter henry because colts so bad against tight ends but he's eleven hundred less yeah oh jay howard ingram good history against the cowboys too good games last year against the cowboys detroit at arizona order. He's going to be very popular. I this is an interesting game to me detroit at arizona. I really interesting. I would say tell me if you agree. The only leap player that i feel like is definitely going to have a good game kerryon johnson. I think all day does i knew you were going to say that. Uh and i hope you're right. If patrick peterson playing it'd be different but i just can't get over the fact that teams did not throw did not pass the ball on arizona last year they they didn't have to and and i just have this fear that marvin jones is going to be. It's going to be too good and it's gonna hold golladay back but it. I don't know what's your take on detroit. I think you're right. I think carrie johnson and listen as much as i want to buy into carrie johnson being a slam dunk running back and everybody's gonna start them. The lines could fool around input c. j. anderson in there in short yardage goal line situations and take points away from from carry-on. You're gonna start them like i said and i think you're still going to start. Golladay and marvin jones isn't bad either. It's a little risky but not the match. That's ups great. If arizona's offense holds up its end of the bargain then all three of those guys are going to be outstanding install will matthew stafford and arizona's offense stinks. You know their defense stinks. It's going to be more of johnson and less fewer targets for the other receivers. It's going to be a little bit harder for them. So really comes down to the cardinals and i want to make clear i mean i. I'm starting golladay across the board. There's no question jamie's got him. Twelve thousand thirteenth in non dave's got him seventeenth and non p._b._r. Twentieth n._p._r. Sigala holidays start marvin jones number three wide receiver a really good opportunity here against a team that is just bad on defense for sure and then which quarterback better in this game because kind of underrated like the the lions had the lions were terrible against the past last year. We're just terrible. They didn't see they saw the third fewest pass attempts per game but on a per diem basis awful so cuyler murray or matthew stafford. I have murray ranked higher staffer. Okay five quarterback scored twenty or more fantasy points and six point per passing touchdown leagues with fewer than thirty not pass attempts against the lions last year and they should have a better defense but i don't know about their secondary..

"To be able to lay a hands on kirk cousins enough to make him jittery. We'll have a kirk cousins performing team. That's actually good because he tends to focus those games yeah. I don't know if i land is going to be that good. I think cousins can find two touchdowns in two hundred twenty. Five yards and digs phelan can probably reap the benefits of most of that. It'll it'll probably be one of them getting close to eighty yards and the other one probably getting close to eighty yards in session okay but it was really more about cousins like no no excitement for him now. It's week one dude. Everybody's at a quarterback. I'm starting inner starting kirk cousins who quarterback i'm starting over stafford though and i don't think that's the easiest decision stafford yeah. I don't know i mean like it's hard to ignore how bad quarterbacks were against zona because they just ran the ball all the time against arizona sonal so i am going to cousins but i could see that that is a toss up <hes> and <hes> if you had to pick a tight end in this game would be <hes>. I would go oh with hooper. I guess it's super all right and the minnesota d._s._t. You can start them but they're not great twelve for jamie thirteenth for dave eighth for heath by the way. What's the spread in this game four for the vikings yeah. It's like four is a big game. It's a fun game. I think i'd go falcons there. I think it'd be wrong well. I don't know if they're going to win. I think they'll cover. Would you like to make a wager now. Which let let's wager. After a milkshake dave go to the next game. Take a break and then go on to the next game ramsey panthers we write.

"To four wait a second zero now sean jeffrey how come i'm just not competent and he's going to play very much. He's hurt. Perhaps he catches a touchdown act sterling shepherd for sex marvin jones six seven. Would you start jones over sterling shepard. Yes any any arizona wide receiver nope. I'll put kirk. It's six really that's pretty. He's gonna get sleigh for so. I don't know if he's gonna get sleigh every play. I say no way komo cornerback gets every receiver replace so there's no way he's not gonna shat you think he's gonna like shadow him or come close to it the only way he shadows them of kirk based on where they will probably lineup. He's mysteriously david johnson. They line everybody up everywhere david johnson zero to ten. It's like a seven yes so okay. Let's spice things up a little bit guys. Who all right here we go week one gonna be which gave is it's gonna give us big fantasy auction. I'm down to two. I still haven't decided. I have like five seconds baker song dude anita. I'm going with the saints and texas. Todd is a week one bonanza all right. So what are you doing in regards to your survival yeah. I don't know i think i think if i pick teams. I can't pick them again for four weeks four weeks four weeks wchs so both teams both teams. They are out for the next four weeks. That's tough. That's really tough and i'm doing seventeen bonanzas. So what do you think like eleven. Here's what i think it should be. I think if you're right on the bonanza you can pick the team again and if you're wrong. You're not allowed to pick those. I like that better. It's like a coach's challenge challenge four weeks. I child yourself this year so four weeks. That's going to be wrong all right. So what what records should i what record should strive for. I think i think eleven six would be a good bonanza record fine. Okay eleven six can't use a team again for four weeks so so we live in texas and saints are up to him it. That's going to be tough games. You might be missing with those things now. We gotta get to the game okay. Let's go the falcons at vikings. <hes> there are a lot of stats here but hear how about this one the falcons three years in a row. They've been really bad against pass. Catching ching running backs they have given up the most the ninth most and the second most receiving yards opposing running backs. Davin cook should have a pretty good game and hopefully you know ads on with some the passing work there all right so matt. Ryan is eighteenth for david jamie twentieth for heath getaway from him. Would you start kirk cousins over matt ryan. I i would know all right so leave it baby mediocre milquetoasts game is going to be better than what matt ryan gives you start garoppolo over cousins right. I'd head-start garoppolo every quarterback in the vikings. Everyone huh kyle slaughter match shaab. Mike zimmer gets a helmet on it goes under center all right so devante speaking of run defenses that were in his yourself out of a saints cowboys prime time again uh-huh damn it only if it's a bad bonanza. Nope no no four weeks against four weeks. Okay okay joe patchy in lethal weapon gekas. I can devante freeman so this was a fun little statistic here. I looked at every running back in minnesota over the last two seasons. Every basically every team and here were the rushing yards for the leading rusher for every team at minnesota last two years eighteen yet. It's amazing eighteen fifteen ninety four for amir abdullah of course forty one thirty thirty seven thirty thirty thirteen forty three so in two thousand seventeen in nine games. Only one team.

"Nine hundred yards or five carries for nine hundred six catches for seventeen yards. He played fifty six percents of the snaps so yeah well. What's your. What's your takeaway away here. I have much to say but i'll let you say it so it's a stunner for sure to see you. Mike davis have that important of a role. He was their two minute drill back as well so so to end the first half he was in there not knowing not montgomery. I wonder if the bears will make going into week two and it's terrible timing to do it. It is to run the ball and take pressure off trubisky and not having it on him to have they only ran the ball. Technically they're fifteen times. Three of them. Were trubisky carries series one was court darryl that third and one that was weird yeah and the fact that montgomery only had six carries any led the team and carries it just. I think that that's where they they make a change i and i i'm really upset about starting montgomery. I'm sad that i took him in four but i'm not at the point point even close where i'm going around for after one game after one bill because the numbers were bad but i think he's so i know we'll let me get to my point. I think there's optimism. I think there's reason to believe that he will get better so you just have to be patient. Yeah and i think he looked like the best rusher. I mean well. The only only two guys carry the ball not counting patterson addison. It just felt to me like they were trying to justify mike davis. I didn't think he did anything special like if you're gonna throw the ball throat more toco in and if you're gonna run the ball run them all more with montgomery montgomery and this happens with rookie running back takes them some time so you know he was eighty. Six percent started david montgomery. Eighty six percent started whereas cohen was forty. One on percents started and davis is only ten percent own rogers was seventy three percents snap counts. I gave the snap counts montgomery thirty eight percent percent. Mike davis fifty six percent co and seven. It's okay it's worth repeating but the fact that montgomery was started and more leagues than rogers was interesting to me like kudos kudos to fantasy owners. We're starting rogers and only seventy seventy percent of leagues like it takes a lot to draft aaron rodgers and not to start him and i thought i thought the star percentage would be higher but i think we we all know even great quarterbacks construction tough match ups and he scored fourteen fantasy points <hes> so you know so the people bench them start a panic touchdown. I i <hes> yeah maybe but it was basically the the game was decided on one big play right the big to mark. Was this gatling <hes> yeah like my trade now dave now so they'll look it. I traded sterling shepherd for m._v._s._a. Pollard with with zeke league i._b._p. Great trade so all right anyway <hes> if you would you would you try to buy low on david montgomery. If you have a pan yes of course yeah check in with that guy. Would you sell high onto rico because the thing is if they weren't trailing in this game he wouldn't have had such great numbers he had eight catches for forty eighty nine yards but so much of it came on the final drive and again no carries. I think that's an adjustment. The bears will make any kind of isn't what i said before. They're gonna run the ball. More and tariq will be involved in there all right and mumbled on the i carry was there was trees start the game it was called back penalty okay attack with it was a pitch that he dropped any panic on the packers side aaron jones thirteen carries in jamal williams five now yeah weeks. I expect to jones to play poorly this game. This was pretty ugly but in the second half he started to break through a little bit more so the slow start what could have been his third injury in in a row and strips goggle he did but i think he came out. He's got punched someplace he's much or it was just like a hand injury..

Browns trade DE Ogbah to Chiefs for S Murray
"We got some breaking news. We've got a trade live on the Browns have traded. Emmanuel AGA do the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for safety. Eric Murray manual by nice nice pick up by the chiefs, a guy that took your line there. A guy that that PF effort instance, always loves Aqaba because he's very much a hurry not quarterbacks hits or sack guy. But he's going against the Ron and get some pressure. Like he's starting NFL player, and they need some of those on there. They were trying to move the Browns also cut Derek kindred the safety today because he started to cost too much for what he was because of some sort of contract stipulation. But I thought they were gonna go out and get Eric berry potentially. So they still might do. They might Dorsey burn the phone lines with his old with his old front office group here Eric Murray's played a lot too. So that's the guy I think that they need would not trade odd. But I wouldn't think unless it's for someone that they believe is going to get on the field for them. Because I like what was Murray's played a lot of snaps for a horrible second. I'm not saying he's great. I'm saying they probably see them as having a role that I didn't understand the the need to get rid of odd buds. Good to have with defensive

"brown trade" Discussed on GSMC Football Podcast
"Hello and welcome. The GMC football podcast. Brought to you by the GMC podcast network. I'm your host Jeff Mellon off in bully. These last twenty four hours had been interesting. And we've had trades. We've had non-trade we've had thought we've had trays but social media made it not so and we've had now deadlines and now we've had where at the day of were supposed someone's getting traded. But maybe they won't be getting traded. They have limited options for that guy to be traded. We don't know what's gonna happen. Anything could happen in football in the off season. That's why we'd love it so much, but we're going to start with the in Tokyo Brown situation, then go onto the case keenum situation. And then we have a new trade that just happened with the Browns and giants we'll talk about the end of the segments. But first things first we got us started off with the Antonio Brown trade that never was as we thought keyword thought. There was a trade that was going that was bound to happen regarding regarding Tonio Brown being traded to the Buffalo Bills of all teams. And you know of all the teams. Our project predicted to make the trade to the all pro wide receiver the last team that I thought was going to be a factor or was going to be a let's say a front runner in for Antonio Brown was the Buffalo Bills. And as soon as knows news broke, nose broke news broke. I audibly went what like as in like you. This is serious being punked right now. My my praying to this. This is broke who act by phone. Ha ha very funny. That's what I thought not really. But it felt like it like that. And then just and then, of course, the NFL Instagram posted it, and so everyone's like, oh, the guest this visual. Antonio Brown loves to chime in on Instagram and just say, the classic Donald Trump saying and fake news. And then everyone's like, okay is this real or not? And everyone's all confused now even more than they already were. And I was just confused. I was like when I first read that news about buffalo. I'm like, there's no way. There's absolutely no way. That's good..

Art Rooney II: Steelers considering Antonio Brown trade
"Steelers, president art, Rooney the second speaking of sealers made some very limiting comments about intoning Brown his future. There is murky implied. He will be gone next season, but he gave a little wiggle room. He was asked to be season coming back, and he said as we sit here today, it's hard and vision that, but there's no sense on closing the door on anything today. We don't have to make those decisions right now. Whether the situation can be reconciled and having back on next year, we're not closing the door on anything there. Then Antonio Brown posted this photo on his social pages after that with the caption good business hashtag. I don't know that means, but. Solid sold ownership for sure I I don't think feelers to make a decision on Tonio Brown right now either. I think let the let the season kinda similar let everyone's emotions calmed down a little bit get everybody in a room have a conversation and see if you guys can all get on the same page. I don't think that's going to happen. But it's possible.
Carlos Hyde joins Jacksonville Jaguars

Cleveland Browns rookie Antonio Callaway cited for marijuana possession
"Getting a quote is easier than ever. So we're changing it to death taxes and that the Browns are going to Brown and the Sixers are going to stick, sir. Start with Cleveland free now and the news that the Cleveland Browns rookie Antonio Calloway. It's now been cited for marijuana possession pulled over in his car by strong Zillow, high police at Reemstma on Sunday morning. He failed to yield to oncoming traffic and a small amount of marijuana was found under his seat. He was also driving with a suspended license. This Brown's fourth round, pick despite a troubled past at Florida suspended last season for involvement in a credit card. Fraud case also tested positive for marijuana at the NFL combine in February. And this of course happened just hours before the Browns traded receiver, Cory Coleman. A previous draft pick to the bills. Also, Josh Gordon is out. So this would have been useful information to them a few hours earlier than they found out. They may not have made that move with Corey Coleman and either way free dial if you're the Browns, are you the team that thinks it's wise to take a chance on a guy with substance abuse problems that have already reared their had at the combine right? If you can't control yourself enough to not test positive at the combine and you already had issues at Florida, are you adding him to the list of potential draft busts that very recently include Johnny Mandel for the same reason. And jury's still out on Josh Gordon for the same reason. This is why the Browns are gonna are gonna Brown. Always do when when you make this kind of call from a front office perspective, you're hoping that you can catch value and you believe that the structure within your locker room can can bring a kid like this along and and get him not only right on the field, but off of it as well. But when you have this many red flags and warning signs and you still roll the dice and this happens, you have to point at the front office and go, what the heck were you doing? I mean, that's the key here. When you know this much information about a prospect in a prospect that has had this many issues in his past, and this still happens, you deserve all the criticism that's coming your way. You deserve all the people laughing and shaking their heads and going of the Browns because this is the call that you could have avoided, and this is the call you made anyway. Yeah, you're right. And I remember talking about Calloway back on this show during the combine and wondering which team was likely to be willing to take. Chance on a guy who had the history he had and showed up to the combine and was unable to present himself in a way that was that was sufficient to pass the test. I mean, also I didn't even mention yet that he was accused of sexual assault in two thousand fifteen and suspended from school that off season. He was later cleared in a title nine hearing, but the accuser enter attorney boycotted it because there was a Florida booster adjudicating the case. They didn't feel should get a fair shake in rightfully so during the hearing, he said, he was so stoned. He had no interest in having sex with anyone that somebody said as an as his defense for why he couldn't possibly have sexually assaulted her. I mentioned the credit card fraud incident, and you know, this is a chance that the Browns were willing to take on a guy who now could have already blown his spot has potential for a starting job with the Browns..

Nine up through twenty sixteen that's eleven different first round, picks not one is left on the Cleveland Browns not one let me ask you a stupid question I'm pretty. Good at that I also see the Brady Quinn talking about it but he didn't bring up does this, have anything to do with. Kelvin Benjamin popping up about Carolina because. I guess they weren't happy about that in in buffalo I. Assumed, it had more to do with Josh Gordon that he's. Actually closed Quinta but I don't know maybe I'm thinking, thinking outside the box here. Who knows I might also have something to do with the other horrifically awful receivers around Benjamin in buffalo right now I mean rod, Streeter Zeta Jones I just don't think they have any depth either but Tasker No Maybe No. Shortly I don't think they're gonna be asking the pro football hall of fame game the unwatchable annual exhibition nonetheless was the top rated TV show of the. "Be in the locker room is so important and then you talk about the maturity with tara taylor haven't been around have been on a the super bowl team in baltimore hadn't been a starter having having such an understanding of the game for the browns it was never so much talent thing it was always the mentality the guy that you have in those prominent positions being able to lead this team and that's what i'm excited about so i'm hoping rattled brings at eight i'm hoping jarvis brings at age amodi rub rings that majority in their leadership and i think that's when the browns will turn the corner one reason that i've always been a big huge jackson sanford one reason i am so excited that cleveland decided to keep him for another year was i think he brings out the best in people in he's really good at managing players in people in that was part of the reason why i was excited that he hired all an office of corner like taught haley coups now you can focus fulltime on the management of his players and his coaches and bringing it a guy like the various randall who maybe had a little bit of a chequered past with some cure to problems uh lockward problems in green bay i think hugh is exactly the right coach to have deal will help that player blossom into the type of player that he can be based on his potential and the talent level so uh bringing those guys that are competitive and that's one thing that it seems like john really wants to build in cleveland has that competitive locker room that every practice is going to be competitive like it's a game he's trying to build competition at all those positions that are really important receiver de be obviously quarterback there's going to be a little bit of competition between thai rod and then one of the rookie comes in uh but i think these are all positive things for a young team that's building that's growing and i love the direction.

"Nothing but that's why he did that that's that's why you get all the trade right already go the draft picks like why hold onto him go get players i totally agree i think since i've been in the nfl the last five years teams have overvalued significantly mid and late round draft picks i think general managers in general have a little bit ego they think they're smarter than maybe they are and they overvalued the ability to select draft picks that are cheap salary cap additions when really for the most sort blows fourth truth six seven th round picks for the most part those guys don't make the team yeah you're gonna find some players in there but overwhelmingly the teams that are really smart and handle the free agency in the treats really well like new england like cleveland's doing right now are trading fourth or fifth six seventhround picks first starters that our veterans can comment that can play really well that could lockup in solidify a position of need and in the dais in cleveland you're going to be getting an explosive wide receiver the catch the ball on i think he is good sit when i look at todd haley the opposite is going to be bringing in the things that he did with antonio brown to get him open to get the off his hands is going to be the same things he'll be able to do with jarvis landroute and you pair that with corey coleman in them deep threat by josh warden i think that offense all of a sudden got really much more dangerous and explosive because now you're you're dealing with match up problems for opposing defences because okay got josh taken the top off the defense you got rid of him nyagah jarvis who's a guy that can catch the ball all over the field and then it's real corey coleman in there now he's and other jitterbug uh.
