"Hi. Aaron what's up? Nice to meet you. If I could weigh in quick on the done eating their children at school. I believe typically with kids are two different times their kids who were about done to have a fear. Maybe a safe fear, and then other kids who are just fearful is done because of either bad situation or they've never really been taught. There are. Okay. In the most part with the gun. That's my opinion. They're going to be fair to them or their. Fear or knowledge of of of on a gun can do. They're also going to be kids who love guns a little bit too much and can't wait to get their hands on guns their kids who are curious about guns who if they see one we'll pick one up. There are kids who will be heinous irresponsible. Their kids will be way more than two kinds of kids when it comes to guns, but go, okay. Okay. So when you see an officer or. Holding a gun at the at the front of the school in the state arms of a police officer. I think kid will leave either I I inkling older either be a little afraid or they care. So I'm gonna put it that way. So I have an eight year old daughter, and a sixteen year old son who is so grown up with the police as a father, and they have a a knowledge of fear. They've excuse me a knowledge of the gun they shotgun. And so, you know, it wouldn't it wouldn't disturb them to see a police officer who's been trained to use a gun to have a gun in Greece them at school. Okay. I believe that's not going to be most of the people you're dealing with. Right. So then you come to. Well, you know, you can't probably can't pizza the entire school class on aren't done. Probably not going to be. That's probably not gonna float. So I don't know that it's a great idea. I think as parents a lot of us would feel pretty good and pretty safe knowing that their officers with guns. They're ready to attack somebody who's got a gun, but that's not supposed to have it. But I don't think that's gonna be the overall consensus. So cool. My opinion. Thank you very much. I appreciate your sharing your opinion. Thank you. My pleasure. Seventy seven five seven nine one zero two five eight hundred seventy seven while I wanted to five to live alone. Oh. Hi as so like as far as having guns on on teachers with their like a like a school. I personally don't think that's a great idea. Just do the fact that I've had teachers that are like mad aggressive in my high school, and I wouldn't trust them at all. And you know, there's so much training. It's involved some individuals probably perspire better than most honesty. Did he say some individuals perspire better? What does that mean? I think you were saying like if a kid acts out classy might get shot because he had some aggressive teacher. So I mean. It's it's it's a sad. It's a sad thing to even have to think about that's I think that's where like just to have. The discussion is sad. We can't even trust our teachers not to bang their students, but you wanna put guns in their hands. Let that sink in for a minute. Look ninety five percent of teachers are great individuals who give their own money and time to make our world. A better place in shape our youth. And then five percent of them sell drugs at school, bang the students at cetera. So you want to arm them. But I get what you're saying. I just think that we are getting into the point of talking about someone murdering someone else or shooting someone else and just because you can bang your students or sell some weed your students. Does that mean that you can murder your students demeanor compromise morally, I mean, it means like, you don't you? Don't hold yourself up to a high standard. I I get what you're saying. I'm just turning a gun on somebody. Seems like something very extreme for a teacher to do you think that they that would not happen? You would think that, but you also think that a female teacher who's thirty two isn't going to Bank a fifteen year old kid, and they do hormones, you know, all women get those when they when they get a little older feel needed. What else? Chris what's up? Hey, I figured instead of arming the teachers or arming police officers are full-time why not do an automated system that's located throughout the school multiple locations with a gun attached to it. Great idea. Thank you so much to grab a live. How can we help you? Hey, how's it going? What's up? Hey, so a couple of questions that I just wanted to bounce off you if I could Hewlett please. What is what is your take on police officers at their disposal? Have you know, many different tools other than going to use nonlethal in some also can still be lethal? You know, like a flashlight to the head. So what is your take on giving teachers the tools immediately to go ahead and terminate a wife? Would they won't do you think they'd also be able to get some nonlethal options to and you know, paddock carry like a whole utility belt of options and should the need arise. Here's here's where I weigh on. I I hate the fact that we even have to have this discussion, but it's a necessary discussion because society has crumbled to the point where our kids now have to worry about going to school and not getting beat up or seven and a trash can but shot to pieces we're coming up on the year anniversary tomorrow of the stone of the Douglas shooting. Correct. And that's Amaro. I believe those on Valentine's Day. Yeah. So I hate that. We even have to talk about that. Because I'm a parent. And I hate that. This is where we are. But it is where we are. So let's talk about it. We ask so much of our educators already. Yeah. They get a three month vacation in the summer. But during the school year, they work way more than forty hours a week they bust their ass. They're stretched thin. I don't think it's reasonable or fair to expect them to be cops to expect them to take marksmanship courses on their own time. So I'm not a big fan of arming teachers. I don't I don't think we should even go there. If we need to put more money into the schools, then great. Let's get more cops in the schools and more people who are trained in handguns rather than relying on these teachers who are already underpaid overworked and stretched thin. Good point. Thank you. Appreciate that. I make those from time to time yesterday. If you. This is a this is another just sad point to make. But let's say hypothetically, we start arming teachers all throughout the country. How many teachers are going to shoot their students or shoots someone or have their gun taken away and kill somebody. Because I would imagine that number is pretty low in all it takes his one shooting. I mean, we see a school shooting. We're talking about numbers like six seven eight nine ten thirteen whatever it may be. So you'd have to imagine if it came down to just a numbers game, you could save more lives as as far as bottom line. Right. This manatee school. That's got the long guns. They they have to guardians as they call them. And they're both they're veterans and their train. So I mean, I'm I'm okay with that good with that. I'm good with that. I don't think that we should go near training teachers how to shoot right? But you've got these two guys that are trained that are in and walking on campus. I'm okay with that one hundred percent, okay. As a guy. That's not sure if he's going to send his daughter to public school if I do. Okay. With these guys carrying on campus, seventy seven five seven nine one zero two five eight hundred seventy seven five governor to Santa's right now is making a major policy announcement. Ability, not only in our county throughout our state. And so we'll go ahead and introduce Lieutenant governor and allow her to bring us up to speed. Thank you so much for everything you've been doing over the past thirty days Broward County courthouse to this governor. So the focus he has on public safety and accountability. And you're going to be hearing about a lot of the things that the governor is doing and has already done most importantly this governor understands that we have single primary responsibility to keep our residents safe. He understands that from the perspective of being a veteran. He understands that from the perspective of being a federal prosecutor. But most importantly, he understands that from the perspective of being a father and on the eve of a tragic day in Florida's history. This governor continues to show his commitment. Not just to this come every single county in the state of Florida. So make sure that we never have a tragedy like this on our hands. Again, very proud to stand alongside him. I guess you know, you can watch his hands to start over and start frankly. No. Game. No family. No. The people from making a mistake in American Home. And I thought it. No, no. I heard about it. But.
