Rep. Chip Roy: Biden's Language on COVID Response Is Always About Others Than You

"Doing. So I've got it. We're gonna force the boosters. Soluble. They're going to force you to do And by the way, it's all purposeful to say it's to help other people because they don't want to make it about you. Because then it's about freedom for you to make a decision about a mask or about a vaccine for you or your loved one. No, no, they want to make it about. You must do that for the other people. Even though there's no science to back that up. We all know that you can communicate the dengue virus. Even if you've been vaccinated. Remember, they move the goalposts on that. Right. Originally, it was all Oh, no. Well, you know, it's going to protect you from being able to communicate the disease. No. Then they found out. That's not the case. So now there's a well you've got to do it just to make sure that everybody can be taken care of. It's absolutely outrageous. And the booster stuff in the FDA is particularly telling that you've got experts there that are quitting over it, and that they're voting against what Biden. He does because here's the thing Chip. You can support vaccines as I do and oppose tyranny. And that's the point they support tyranny. And support vaccines. We support vaccines and opposed tyranny now De Santis is even pointed out. I'm pulling this up now. Broward County. In Florida. The anti body doses are being were being distributed 52% of the patients and a whopping 69% of the patients over the age of 60 had been vaccinated. Yep. So yes, and and the sentence has said I recommend you get vaccinated. Yes, but it's not enough. I mean, I got to have these and I've got to have these therapeutics if I want to use them. And now they're cutting them off. And look and add on top of this. You know this? My dad had polio. Okay? And I love my watch My dad his whole life. I'm very pro vaccine for for when we know what it is, and you make a decision. That's good for you and your family. But if you've got natural immunity, there's evidence that maybe you shouldn't get it right. Or maybe you're think so. I think you're right.

Biden Regulary Targets Republican States, Passes on Democratic States With Low Vaccinations

"Neither President Biden or pass sake have been critical of Illinois, Michigan, Nevada and North Carolina or their Democratic governors, for quote lowered vaccination rates. On the other hand, just sent this in Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sparred with the president a number of issues but especially in the subject of Covid and how best to balance the public health challenge It represents. Whether the priorities let me make this as clear as I know how I don't know. The single governor in this state is anti vax. As I've said over and over again, you can be pro vaccine and anti tyranny. The Republican governors, most of them with the exception of the governor of Massachusetts, in Maryland, I guess Our anti tyranny, Pro vaccine anti tyranny. In Florida is a massive state. Texas is a massive state. And they're actually doing very, very well. It's also notable national review that vaccines have proven resilient and preventing hospitalization and death amidst the Delta variant outbreak. "The people around us in a radius of a few miles there will be so many people people who are poor and who aren't able to do anything and it would be a humanitarian crisis What do you think about that? What do you think the human side of the equation when it comes to climate change down here in Florida with with people we live in in our communities with extremely extremely important because we see the potential of having a thousands sounds of climate refugees just from south along? And I get I get the argument. They're saying but at the same time you know that that doesn't translate over to going to be happening in the people who live this trunk or little Haiti or and marginalized communities and I've seen a semi neighborhood as well with a lot. The Sky rises up. More sky rises in my neighborhood. Now they're you know moving a lot western gentrified area and they're kicking us out and then we. We won't have anywhere to go because as you go to the beach. You can't live can't afford anything in there you go. Wes saw grass can afford anything over there in Western pembroke pies and the only thing you can do is find another place. Lisa lift and climate change isn't just about sea-level rises about the quality of the air the quality of the water in those communities the infrastructure and those communities and and sadly the economists as well we have a lot of a belief they're caught free fun areas. There's one that right across the street from my house and there's a playground Super Fun Super Fun. superfund yet finds freedom superfund stairs sue freedom him dividend superfund sites. We have some of them. Down here to We have I think. In the last ten years we've excavated three four different Public parks that had toxic ash under one of our superfund sites is a water. Distillery Korea. Water water main up north in Hialeah that is basically just the toxic plume of of trash that is at any given time a few feet of sediment away from getting into our ground supply water and I always wonder what will happen when I mean you've got a city of fifty thousand people like flint that have been without water for going on a decade now. But I can't wait to see what happens when when it happens in coral gables or some place where the average household income is uh one hundred and eighty thousand dollars a year. They won't be happy and a lot of it is a lot of it is is the I call it environmental racism and is not an issue unless it's affecting certain communities have an income over one hundred thousand dollars is not an issue to me is an issue you have a playground on a superfund site or wall on a superfund superfund site or right across the street. From my house I breathe in air. Every day I go out there with the kids and I play every chance I get with the kiss. And we're right there on the superfund site and They'll say the levels. Are you know the acceptable limits of. Yeah Okay to Florida Department of Environment Blah Blah farmers for I might. Yeah they take a little sip of the water. The water tastes fine to me. What the filter? But I think those are going to continue to be issues in with these hurricanes That are getting stronger Yet they have insurance on their property. But Mahmoud Abbas party our house doesn't have insurance most people might never we don't have a share there's something happened those landlords they'll have insurance bills properties back up and those renters and also a little talked about things that most people who most specifically elderly people who own their homes outright. They don't have insurance either because by the way it doesn't make book and sense to have insurance because the insurance company never pays you so if you have a choice of either by. I don't have a choice. I have a mortgage. They forced me to have insurance. But if I had the choice to not have insurance I probably wouldn't because they never put pay so it's a real catch twenty Timothy suspenseful to is yes. She's more and more every year. I know somebody WHO's spinning. He has the money spending like three thousand a month on home insurance and you can afford it so yeah but like most people can't afford that and I think you know the insurance industry is going to make they're not gonNA pay all that money out of You know we had a Hurricane Doria style here you think state farm. These insurance companies are going to come out so this is why I have a good plan for. We have public insurance on. So I set this taxpayer funded. You don't really have to chip in every month or do you think it's coming out of your taxes and it'd be similar to what famous it'd be under FEMA and anytime anyone's property is damaged or destroyed because of any natural disaster. We're paying for that collectively through there and you don't need to pay out of your pocket for that and this will help people who are disadvantaged in Mosul who are most by this or who may have lost their properties or have had some major damages. They'll be able to get AH assistance with that. Because we can't control the WHO can't control their so why are we charging people in punishing them because of the weather. I mean if we're going to punish somebody for the weather. We punishing fossil fuel industry in a one hundred corporations that are contributing to climate change. Because they're the reason why these natural disasters are happening. Not Susan Loosen a two bedroom apartment. Let our insurance lapse or just never got it again. It's funny because public insurance. Just another one of these things that when you when you. It's a necessity we need it and when you remove the profit incentive from it works just as well yeah health insurance. We're just if you remove the the health of the profit incentive. It's still just works just fine and for some reason we've told US tells a story where if it's not some open market where by the way you can only get like three different insurance prince plans anyway but when they when they came. When I bought my house they came with three insurance plans? And that was what I had to choose from and Yeah for for some reason. We told myself this story where the choice and the you know all of this false choice. Worshiping markets I say. Here's the here's the choice. He's the choices half your medicine. The choice is not having enough money to pay for your healthcare two choices not going into doctrine and dine as a result the choices says not really having a choice. That doesn't sound like freedom that doesn't sound like I have. Liberty was sounds like liberty media's having a healthcare system where you may be paying two hundred dollars more in taxes federal income tax month but at the end of the day you're not paying sixty thousand dollars to the healthcare corporations who are making a profit and who are who are denying people are saying. I don't want the government to be deciding your health care. I don't want a private company that being a death penalty deciding whether or not I get the the insurance or anything that I need or get the medical assistance that I need. So I'm glad that I have medicaid a right now and the most I had to pay for my pocket for Medicaid was two dollars dollars. Wins Two dollars to get any assistance extremely popular program people who use it love it absolutely. It's almost almost like it works right. It's crazy -solutely and the only downside to it was. There was to wait times with it. But that's because Florida and Hispan- Medicaid right and that's the only reason again in other places you see where they did. Expanded live in Kentucky was Apart from the the political discourse and the just general vitriol the having to rename it from obamacare because nobody would ever have something called Obamacare the the the the expansion of Medicaid actually worked really. Well they did the job really excellent program. I get all of my. You know I when I go to get my medicines. I get a little paper like a little receipt and around the pay anything but I still get receipt in Cedar prices for these medicines and six hundred eighty seven dollars. Fine if I did not have medicaid or if my mom or if if I was making you know just a tad bit more than I make now I would be having that come out of my pocket and pay and and that's probably a pretty good you're seeing unlisted. There's probably a pretty good price for the medicine because Medicaid is a huge right now purchaser and negotiator exactly For folks who are on smaller group plans hands. I mean those those those retailer people were buying. I mean imagine wanted problem with the costs. Probably the most dopey thing I saw the other day was A vending machine at sawgrass Mills Mall are in a machine. had a bunch of medicines there and you swipe your card and pick in Sodas Silvas high. I am your pharmacies this and can get the medicines and that was just so terrifying. What they're buying things I've ever heard? I'm sure we'll see those coming soon. Replacing every pharmacist in CVS and Walgreens and they'll say people they're not going to you keep their daughters and everything and s s big hose. You will be able to keep your doctor but most people aren't concerned about whether or not you're gonNA keep a daughter competing. They're concerned more about am. I going to get care can i. You cannot get medicine without going broke without putting my entire family. I switched my doctor any second amendment. I I'm going to pay less or I know I mean I. Fortunately I don't have. That is just that that I have something that everyone should have. And you know they say oh you you're under a specific Income level that's why you get it and I say let's just give it to everybody and have an equitable society. There's no anita means test. These programs the means testing is and that's the I mean like you're touching on what the key Stress Point Right now. The Democratic primary is a group of people who want to continue to means test everything and undermine the viability of everything mayor Pete and say some names and another group who more or lasts even though there are some waffles here and there who kind of gone back and forth a little bit but One specific name who does not move an inch and hasn't moved an inch for seventy years But they understand the viability of universal programs. and that when everybody has skin in the game then everybody's willing to protect it and the minute you start saying saying like oh well. Millionaires shouldn't be millionaires. Kids should be able to go to school for free by the way of millionaire to me. Is Anybody who makes over one hundred thousand dollars a year which would be two who parents making fifty thousand dollars. A year in Miami would be broke. And you know it's just the minute you go down that road so I guess you know millionaire. She didn't have fire departments drive on our roads and go to schools public schools. They shouldn't have anything in society because they're millionaires. I see no. That's ridiculous argument commit. Everyone should get these programs. This is part of the social contract that is should be available to everybody Y Are we trying to limit. who gets these programs you actually incentivize them to privatize these programs? If you do that right in the end because now I don't understand I do understand what you're saying. Winging what they're saying is that we want to listen to our donors and that's the sad part you want to catch up with you can't the campaign trail and and let's tell people where they can. They can catch up with you right now. They can Donate were they can take part in the campaign. That's absolutely so if you want to donate visit visit a large and manly dot com..

"Billy Cunningham, the great American coming up in about one hour's the Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson live from Los Angeles. Why does it have sixty thousand homeless on the street? And cops catching robotic plague Taif isn't a bunch of other stuff that's in one hour. But until then I noted with interest Scott Peterson the coward Broward County security officer was indicted for eleven counts, which included three counts of culpable negligence seven counts. Joan neglect one count of perjury. He was the officer outside of stoneman Douglas high school. That did not enter in fact stayed outside is secure the perimeter against his training and things that character and criminal defense. Attorney with perspective on this, as Lisa wells and Lisa wells on the acute hearing center dot com hotline welcome, again, in the Bill Cunningham show. Lisa. How are you? I'm really happy that this Hodel jerk Howard embarrassment to law enforcement is going to. Yeah. I'm I, I can't imagine really town, right? Yeah. Yeah. I have one that just finished up back in grade going to another school. And we live in Boulder County and because where Mike has go and record. We, we passed a Levy, I wanna say about two years ago that enabled our schools to have a full-time Westchester police appetizer at every school. Good. And at we're relieved we are in. I can't tell you how amazing the officer was after going from Westchester. I we had him all the way through two, and he was just the kind of officer that left kid has kids and no way in the world would I ever doubt for one second. If there was anything that happened at that entry school that he wouldn't go running in gunk blazing. Amazing to me is Scott Peterson you go back on the nNcholas crews characters name I always fail to mention because he's an insane. Criminal, but there was thirty to forty times when Broward County came in contact with him because not just juvenile behavior serious criminal violations with guns and thirty to forty times the sheriff of Broward County. Again, name, Israel refused to do things to make sure this guy couldn't have guns didn't arrest him. They kept putting him back in school. The school board had a policy that when some kid is kicked out of school. He's got a right to come back. He had guns in school. He'd walk up to girls in the hallway with his trigger finger and thumb and pretend like he was shooting them in the head, and he was kicked out of school. But then quickly put into school he had neighbors telling other neighbors, that guy is walking around the yard where they semiautomatic Forty-five kinda simulating killing things in the backyard that he did things that should have got him arrested. But Broward County had a policy of having the rights of the one outright way the rights of the many and then when push. Came to shove nNcholas crew shows up and Ballo. He got out onto stoneman Douglas ice, cool. He got out of the school completely got several miles away, and the one copy was there to make sure that life would be saved was a coward who stayed on the outside circling, the perimeter and a golf cart, because it was too fat to get out and go in the school and nNcholas crews in school for thirty seven minutes. Thirty seven minutes killing killing kids and this guy stood outside and did nothing. And then he did an interview in, which is my training required me to do, so which was about face lie. I mean, the wives that could have been saved. It just it blows my mind. When I when I stopped being a prosecutor, rob Sanders can kind of come on. You can always represent police officers for free, whether it's domestic aces, or criminal cases, and I can tell you wholeheartedly. Out. And for something like this ever, I can't an took fourteen months, fourteen months of an investigation to get to his arrest on Tuesday. And when they're up he's got a hundred and two thousand one hundred two thousand bond bounties. He's out. We cannot put that kind of money up to put up to ten percent walked out mean, ten thousand ten percent is. I mean, the presumption on these charges prison, dental and typically that is one of the bond considerations. I mean technically, I guess he, he has so much notoriety that I'm sure he had to surrender path for it and can't have access to that he's not much of a flight risk. The investigation has gone on for so long. I don't know if he turned himself in or once the arrest warrant fishing or not, but I know they picked them up quite quickly, but I mean, I think we've all been waiting. I don't understand why he hasn't been charged before. And I think the perjury charge you know, it's so funny people get so caught up in their own lives. It's one of the easiest thing to charge somebody with perjury. But his inaction I mean not just not just his inaction, but him calling off telling other officers not to go in there. Be on criminal conduct. I hope he never never get that. He's fifty seven years old. According to the story, I'm reading on of Broward County. There were thirty seven minutes from the time the first shot was fired the last shot was far thirty seven minutes and during that time the video reflected that officer Peterson retreated from the gunfire stayed on the outside directed other cops subtype five hundred feet away from the building. Several cops disagreed with them. They got into an argument and several cops from another department ran into the building looking for, but they didn't know where they were going because Scott Peterson intimately new every floor every classroom in that building any met the children at the door quite often shook their hands. It was large school. There's three thousand high school students. It's a huge campus. And so this guy was the one on duty. And no one including the sheriff, who was a terrible sheriff now released by the governor for incompetence. Even the sheriff Israel said, we always train, our cops in those circumstances to run toward the gunfire to try to save you. In lives. And this Peterson is a coward and a liar. And he should get at least the rest of his life in jail, the bell if I was there and I had a gun in my I want to go on, and I'm going to run into the school. Even though I know that probably against what district would want me to do, especially if I start not doing something, you couldn't keep me out even if my kids weren't in that school. Somebody has a duty to protect the kids. In fact, he had a duty to protect his kid, but I don't know any person when you watch the video, and I mean, that's really the thick part of it, right? 'cause you can kind of in your mind he what happened, but we get to watch his in action and because of the multitude of camera and that school. What was happening in that goal Lino, how long people? Seventeen seventeen injured. I don't care if she got killed he could've saved someone and I can't imagine a police officer, any officer that I've ever worked with ever known ever represented not immediately running towards that. Gunfire. Imagined in Westchester. Lakota Lakota west horrible event takes place not officer. You talked about ran away and hid. I mean this. Our officers. You I I graduated forever ago. Today's my birthday, thank you, so, you know, back in the day old saying our school resource officers, honestly. We didn't. This is nineteen ninety six thousand nine hundred ninety six they really were there for truancy, right? Drugs, things like that bring in the canine on things like that. But we at least for the last decade if not fifteen years, we have been an income wholly different world. Our school resource officers are I minded there there it. I mean, they are in my mind, they have done those important. I entrust the safety of my tiny children to then every day, and I just can't imagine any police officers that went out west. Here they're wonderful. They really are. But I can't imagine any officer. From that type of confrontation before we talk about castration. I'll say this, that nNcholas cruise was a mentally ill murderer who should be executed. He's nineteen years old when his happened, and the odds of fifty six year old deputy sheriff who's been in business for thirty years being able to stop him was pretty good. I, I can't imagine what the chaos that was going on then a skilled trained police officer with his nine millimeter, and with a vest on could not have found the shooter and neutralized him one way or another in that matchup, which went a fifty six year old man thirty years in the business as opposed to a nineteen year old mentally ill criminal murderer, I'll take the cop every time to take down the, the nineteen year old. Do you agree, I would take myself to take him down? Police officer, I just I don't know any other parents that doesn't care that wouldn't kill the exact same way. I. Sitting in the parking lot at that exact second. We're some mass shooting comes out like that. That's not gonna immediately run in thirty seven minutes. Carry people that carry. That's why they carry that's fell and to defend others and Bonda if for some reason, I'm sitting in that parking lot. I don't care what school it is. When it happens. I'm running in just for the hell of it. And most of these things are three to five minutes, and it's done. Thirty seven minutes from the first shot to the last shot. And he got out third. How long is thirty seven minutes on a mass murder that is forever, and he was at he was out of different building. He heard the shots and drove his car because he was a fat ass for Maury was to what building was taken place. It got there within forty five seconds. He was outside the building and nNcholas cruise was in there, another thirty seven minutes. Unbelievable unbelievable that he was the only one there the school that dies. I mean. Nike school is tiny and we have one full time officer and Kevin thirty thousand. Right. Doesn't saying, like I would assume an that really where parents are willing to pass these levees and put this money up. We want the officers in these schools board this reason, and we expect that they're going to do their job. And thank having we live in a eight county where I the presumption is, I would hope everyone feels this way about their school resource officer that they're going to do everything they can choose to the end as part of the deal, you're a man, you have a gun, you have training, you have a vest, you know, the facility, you know where he is. You know how to get to where he is. You know how defensive tactics I talked to sergeant Dan hills about two days ago, once a month, he goes out to the firing range to practice and practice and practice these cops. If you're thirty years in the business, you've shot thousands of time. This is what? You do. Okay. You're going to carry that's what any responsible person who carries does. Because if you're not with it, and you're ready to shoot it, you shouldn't have to point blank range about five times a year, just to run about thirty shells, through my through my three eighty six.

President Trump's threat to impose tariffs on Mexico as a way of dealing with the influx of immigrants. Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell was pretty blunt about the lack of support from Republicans for tariffs. What I'm telling you is we're hoping that doesn't happen. "And Broward county's a fifty W dot com, but later, no we're talking about how cameras are everywhere for everything seemingly everywhere and assume they are even if they're not correct. So cameras were at the J rod engagement, and I've got that up under your page, a fifty W F T, L dot com crock. This was Bill what I said this morning. Okay. Tell tell it. What I went s no surprise to her. Right. These are all did. They just reenact everything was it all stage to begin with. When you look at it. He's wearing his World Series ring. Hand that he has the ring box in. So you can see the how choreographed is that very s sickening. So, but the thing is is that how it started. Or did they just reenacted right and release those pictures 'cause I'm thinking you were not surprised at all because this was all staged professional photographs or photographer there. Clearly, we need to call Jose can go on this too says. He says the whole thing is a sham is anybody. Boy that story went viral talking. Talking to him. I betcha. A rod made a phone call. Shut it for you. Who could take whom I don't know. A big guy could Saco is huge and crazy. Yeah. There you go. Never bet against that buddy. Rods like the best right handed slugger ever to. Juiced up? He would have been in. All no, that's not true. I'm sure you do. More coming.

"Marlins are not in any sort of position and completely close off an entire county for business who's upset about that honesty. If you're upset about that you need to get a life. Let's be real you need to real if they're jeeter say go, I want to focus on Coral Gables and coconut grove, and you're like up believe that he didn't mention parkland. I can't believe he didn't say fort Lauder. I'm not going to watch another Moreland. That's outrage. Broward. Man, outraged Broward County resident and I am not going to a Marlins game. Because of what Derek jeeter said on Monday morning, Dan, Levy hard. I feel like Billy's take would be a little differently. If it was talking about Miami fans, but you know, I'm not we don't have to go down there. But concerned about them trading with the MVP's AM about them saying who they're focusing on getting into the stadium honest with you that would keep me away more words, but it's hard for you to empathize with the people from Broward because you're being a little myopic. That's just you're in your own cocoon right now, Chris is a huge Marlins fan. He's actually made it out to games, and he's one of these English. Speaking Marlins fans at sort of feeling like, hey is this club. Really for me. I feel like he doesn't even realize how close Broward is the way he said it like I feel like he's just put it on the poll has jeeter ever been to Broward. It's an excellent point, dude. I live in KENDALL. It takes me just as long to get to that ballpark. As would for somebody that lives on in Las olas. Can we play the actual clip because I feel like we're overstay stating what he actually said he just said we're focused first on the people around the ballpark. You didn't like poop on our? You're you're right gamma. But what might is saying is also, right? There are any number of ways to answer this question. This is the least effective way to truth. Tell I I understand what you're saying. What are you? What are you going to check to it? Doesn't matter. What he's saying is my point that's fine. But he he was amazing for three decades not saying anything in front of the cameras he lives in a tabloid city and never had a scandal somehow because he doesn't say anything. And then they ask him about proud. And he's like we don't need customers over there. So I think for us we have to worry about obviously getting the fan base. That's closest to us know, whether that's coconut grove, whereas Coral Gables, whether it's Brickell with pine crest. You know, all these areas. We have to focus on, you know, really marketing to them and getting them to come into the park and experienced this, you know, Marlins brand baseball now. So I think we need to focus on what's closest to us, and then we can build out. But you know, I think it said something that this organization may have you know, obviously playing up that hard rock. What was it? What was the called back in the day here? Nine eight is somewhat play approp- players part. Okay. So. Yes, we need to focus on the community closest to. So the question in capsulated is you guys ignoring Broward County. And then he proceeds to ignore Broward County. Can you put a pit bull song together with jeeter just shouting out Miami cities? I was surprised. I I was surprised that he knew that much of Miami. For the reason that Chris stated about him probably not venturing a whole lot into Broward. Even though I guess didn't it did the Anki train there. When when he was there full Lauderdale really I thought they were Tampa there in Tampa now. But at what when did they leave for Lauderdale was jeeter there? He had a twenty year run in New York was he part of Fort Lauderdale INCE rose during jeeter's career, isn't that whereas castle was it was in Saint jeeter's Berg. Yeah. Do you think is actually turn people off, Dan like people are not going to ten games because of this because I feel like it's just an excuse to be mad at jeeter in the Marlins people who aren't gonna tend weren't going to attend..
