And today we have a very special guest with us that is joining us all the way from Texas. Pastor Max, would you welcome our audience and then just help us understand a little bit about what we're talking about today and some of the things that God has burdened your heart with that we're going to share with our audience today? Well, hello, everybody. And thank you, Rachel. It's a real treat to be with you. Yes, I send you greetings from San Antonio, Texas, and love what we're going to discuss. I'm a pastor. I've been at this same church since 1988. I love to tell and teach Bible stories. And what we're going to be discussing today is the life of Jacob, the life of Jacob. We're following along a book that recently came out. I think it's coming out this week as we're taping this. God will never give up on you. That's the message of Jacob. And I'm super excited, Rachel, to have this opportunity to talk with your audience, your wonderful audience, about an understanding of God's grace, his mercy and his relentless devotion to us. I love that. The tagline in your book, it says, teaches us about grace, mercy and God's relentless love. I love that you call this a refresher course, because I think it's something that we know, but sometimes we often forget that God uses imperfect people to do great things. This life of Jacob, I think, is something that many of us can relate to, especially in a season where there's been a lot of chaos in the world and we find ourselves in this place of just, man, what's next and the frustrations that happen. So I thought it might be a good place to start. If you could describe some of the terms you talk about in your book, the super saint versus the tilted halo, can you maybe elaborate on that a little bit and then also share where you see yourself within those two categories? Well, I see myself as a tilted halo person for sure. I'm a converted drunk. I'm absolutely aware of how frail the human spirit is without the help of the Holy Spirit. And ever since temptation, knocking at the door, maybe there's somebody somewhere who doesn't fear that temptation will find a way into their lives. If so, I may have a sermon or two on humility from which they could benefit. I'd start off the book talking about that if you do see yourself as a super saint, this book's probably not for you. But if you do find yourself struggling to keep your spiritual cheese on your cracker, to keep your balance, to keep your equilibrium, to keep your temper, keep your cool, then the story of Jacob is the story for you. We don't often think about Old Testament characters as a picture of grace. We have this binary, this dichotomy of grace is New Testament and law is Old Testament. I don't hold to that. I think that the God of grace is a God who has been a God of grace since the very beginning. And if you want a great example of the great grace of God, then look at the lives of people like King David, who cheated on his wife, the stories of Abraham, who lied about his wife. But most of all, the story of Jacob, who just seemed like from beginning to end, he was living up to his name. His name means deceiver, and it carries with it a connotation of scoundrel. He always seemed to be working the system, but he had been given a place in God's covenant. And that is that through his lineage, God would bless the world in that covenant. Once God makes a covenant, he never breaks it. He sees the end from the beginning. And when he makes a promise, it's like he's declaring a decree. He's making a decree, this will happen. You and I might change horses in the middle of the stream, not God. Once he says something, it happens. So Jacob was the beneficiary of God's faithfulness, as are all of us. And I think the hero then of the Jacob story is a lot less Jacob, and it's more God. You know, that's something that I talk about a lot on the show, that so much of scripture is descriptive, not necessarily prescriptive, especially when we're talking about some of these individuals that have messiness around them. And like you said, God is really the true hero of that story. I think that is such a good example for us. And, you know, I guess given that lens, what does Jacob's story tell us about God being this God of second chances? And also, what does Jacob's story reveal to us about God's character? Would it help for me to do a quick summary of the Jacob story in case somebody's trying to remember where he fits in Bible history? Yeah, absolutely. I think that's a great point. So Jacob is the grandson of Abraham. Abraham was given a promise by God that through the descendants of Abraham, God would bless the world. And oh, my goodness, has God kept that promise, because through the descendants of Abraham, we have the wonderful Jewish nation. Through the Jewish nation, we have all these stories of Esther, Daniel, David, Isaac. But most of all, we have Jesus Christ. And because of Jesus Christ, we have the church. Jesus was a Jew. The church was founded by Jewish people. And then we as Gentiles, or those of us who are Gentiles, have been beneficiaries of that covenant. So God has made a covenant with Israel. And that covenant began with Abraham. Abraham had a son named Isaac. Isaac married Rebekah, and Rebekah and Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob, twins. They were already fighting in the womb, the scripture tells us. And Rebekah said that God told her that the younger would rule over the older. Well, in this case, the younger was Jacob, the older was Esau. So God had already determined that Jacob would be the head of the clan. But rather than wait for God to create that scenario, Jacob and Rebekah took matters into their own hands. And here's where the story of Jacob begins, deceiving his brother, swindling his brother out of that birthright, deceiving his father, telling his father, nearly blind father, that he himself is the older brother and receiving the blessing that should have gone to the older brother. And so the tone of the story is set. Jacob is working the system, ever taking shortcuts, cutting corners, not waiting on God. And as a result, running. He has to go into hiding that his brother Esau is going to kill him. I mean, this is not a happy story. This could be a reality TV show in Jacob. However, though he does nothing to earn the attention of God as he's running from God, God appears to him, reiterates that blessing, presents to him Jacob's ladder, that famous vision, that dream that Jacob had in which angels are ascending and descending and recommits himself and not recommits, but reminds Jacob that this this covenant includes him. And so on what we have is God ever faithful to Jacob, Jacob ever forgetful of God. Now, that reminds me of me, God ever faithful to Max, Max ever forgetful of God. Jacob tended to lean on his own strength. Max does that. Jacob tended to try to negotiate with God. Max does that. Jacob tended to end up having a taste of his own medicine. I've had a taste of my own. I think that's why I love the story of Jacob. He reminds us of ourselves. Some people can relate to Joseph. I mean, not a bad thing is written about Joseph. Some can relate to Mary, mystical and so faithful. Some can relate to the apostle Paul, though he had his struggles, he was so brilliant. But I'll think a lot of us can relate to Jacob.

A highlight from Europe's Anti-Bitcoin Bill Reveals Plan to Stop Adoption | EP 829

"It's all going to zero against bitcoin it's going up for ever more you're against bitcoin you're against freedom yo welcome to simp with bitcoin live we're the number one source for the peaceful bitcoin revolution we will be your guide through the separation of money and state speaking of the separation of money and state interesting news coming out of Europe kind of not as bad as the proposed bill by Elizabeth Warren that we covered on one of simply bitcoins simply bitcoin lives episode this week but it's something very similar right this idea that every single transaction needs to be KY seed right and then I think that will inevitably lead to the any host unhosted wallet needs to be KY seed all right the the wording specifically in the Elizabeth Warren bill included any minor any validator any software wallet so you know it's just of course the powers that be that tremendously benefit from having a monopoly on the creation of money having controls on money of course to benefit themselves of course they're not going to be okay with this and this was the theory that was originally you know put out back in the 90s in the book the sovereign individual I'm going to read you guys a passage from that book because I think it correctly predicted exactly the reactions from governments I don't think governments have been able to they're not used to this environment where they have competition and most importantly not only do they have competition but they can't shut down the competition right because we remember we saw Facebook try to launch their own you know digital currency and they got shut down real quick the thing with Bitcoin right and Bitcoin only right because aetherium is inherently centralized meaning it will inevitably be co -opted so they have no choice but to ally with the state and they were in order to survive but with Bitcoin can't be stopped and because it can't be stopped it creates a forcing function in the long term as more and more individuals choose to opt out of inflationary money into deflationary money so yes of course times are changing but it's not only on the money front right we're not only living through the disintermediation of money but we're also living through the disintermediation of information and yesterday was a historic day I've never seen this in my life the UK Parliament sent Russell Brand an extremely popular independent content creator a letter to rumble we love rumble by the way we're on there subscribe to us on there and shout out to our rumble audience as well it's been growing by the day so we appreciate you all they sent a letter to rumble asking rumble to demonetize Russell Brand like YouTube did so we have governments that are directly asking platforms to demonetize content creators of which they don't did they don't agree with that is absolutely absurd and these are the same governments that want you to trust them with central bank digital currencies if they had central bank digital currencies in place they wouldn't even have to ask the platforms they could just flick the switch themselves so when we say Bitcoin or slavery or how beauty on said it and I'm starting to lean this way to Bitcoin or death we are not exaggerating and you have to choose what world do you want to live in in the future and most importantly what world do you want the future generations your children your children's children to live in so it's gonna be a great episode I'm really looking forward to it you have to stay on top of what's going on anyways we also we also have a very special treat for you guys we have the head of customer experience from foundation devices the maker of the passport hardware wallet and he's gonna do a live demo for us during the culture cement segment so I'm really really pumped about that let me bring up let me bring him up on stage Bitcoin Q &A you're quite well known on Bitcoin Twitter as well how you doing buddy yeah doing very well thank you very much for having me I'm psyched to shoot the shit with you guys this evening well even in my time but yeah certainly some interesting goings on especially around the Russell brand thing so I'm sure we'll be able to share some insights on that one but not a good look yeah I completely agree man it's it's some some interesting times we are living through people some people call it the fourth turning I don't know man but the phrase that sticks with me the most is weak men create hard times hard times create strong men strong strong men create good times we're definitely going through this era and then I think it was actually Vladimir Lenin that said the very very famous quote right where there are decades that nothing happened and then there are weeks that decades happen I think we're definitely living through this moment of time anyways no more delay let's bring up my legendary co -host not optimistic today no smile oh there's this smile sorry I was caught reading the channels optimistic fields how you doing bro well I am doing wonderful and I'm actually really excited for this culture segment today guys I got a sneak peek of the demo that we're going to see and I think there's gonna be awesome this might be a simply Bitcoin first for the live show but to the news stories and stuff it really just goes to show that if you speak the truth you are the enemy of the state and I think more and more and more people are waking up to this because they either continue to de -platform you from your banks or de -platform you from social media for saying what they don't want to be said you know for saying the quiet part out loud and you know this is why we do our show in a very particular way so that we can survive on YouTube but man it really just goes to show that the powers that be are completely terrified of people talking about the truth hence why you guys need to talk about it more and continue to spread that signal but it just goes to show that this is the the last I don't know the last gasp of the great Leviathan you know what's them saying like darker before the dawn like this is their last grasping at straws to control the truth and and I mean I've been saying for a while I think the monopoly on truth is slowly and dwindling they're going to try to make examples of this so you know just be prepared we know what's coming so protect yourselves protect your family and continue to spread the Bitcoin truth the Bitcoin signal actually just truth with a capital T I suppose anyways Niko let's let's get into this one let's get into this one let's get into the show man I'm really really excited alright guys let's get to the numbers we have a lot to talk about today and I'm super is your Bitcoin in cold storage really secure is your seed phrase really secure stamp seeds do -it -yourself kit has everything you need to hammer your seed words into commercial grade titanium plates instead of just writing them on paper don't store your generational wealth on paper papers prone to water damage fire damage you want to put your generational wealth on one of the strongest metals on planet earth titanium your words are actually stamped into this metal plate with this hammer and these letter stamps and once your words are in they aren't going anywhere no risk of the plate breaking apart and pieces falling everywhere titanium stamped seeds will survive nearly triple the heat produced by a house fire they're also crush proof waterproof non -corrosive and time proof all things that paper is not allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for the long haul stamp your seed on stamp seed alright guys I literally made it super easy for you guys you can scan the QR code on your screen it will take you directly to stamp seed website you can get you could store your generational wealth on titanium so you don't have to explain to your children why you lost your Bitcoin because you stored it on paper you can use promo code simply get 15 % off anything on the stamp seed website at the time of recording the Bitcoin price is twenty six thousand five hundred and seventy sats per dollar three thousand seven hundred sixty four block height eight hundred eight thousand seven hundred twenty nine blocks to having thirty one thousand two hundred seventy one having estimate April 21st 2024 total lightning network capacity four thousand eight hundred fifty five Bitcoin capacity value one hundred twenty nine million US dollars realized monetary inflation one point seven five percent the market capitalization of Bitcoin currently sitting at five hundred and seventeen billion dollars Bitcoin versus gold market cap four point zero one percent in the grand scheme of things Bitcoin is still a baby if Bitcoin reaches not if when Bitcoin reaches the gold market cap that is five hundred thousand dollars per coin and I think that's just getting started anyways we played you guys a video yesterday of a member of the United Nations talking about how we are in an information war we played you guys the video and she was basically recommending that that that they no longer have people to call on on Twitter to censor information she was also saying how there's an army of people that are propagating United Nations approved information well you know she's she's talking about as if the information that's coming out of the United Nations is a matter of fact right she's talking about the problem of disinformation disinformation well my question to you guys is who gets to decide what is disinformation and what is information right well we advocate for on simply Bitcoin is individuals not central planners not governments using their own critical thinking abilities right to dictate okay this is a good idea this is a bad idea right this is how the American this how the American Constitution it's literally written like that that there's a reason that the First Amendment is the way it is right the government or Congress should make no law you know basically censoring or stopping the freedom of the speech of people right and they made it that way for a reason because if there is a central authority if there's a government that gets to dictate what information is true what information is not true history has shown that they'll use that power to protect their own political mode right so thank God for the internet thank God for technologies like Bitcoin thank God for technologies like Noster for example they can't do this anymore and because they're not able to do that they're freaking out number one and number two and number two it becomes a forcing function over a long period of time but that doesn't stop them from trying here is the former New Zealand Prime Minister at the United Nations saying that that words are weapons of war right weapons of war if so if you say something against the government that all of a sudden becomes a weapon of war and again this has escalated it is escalated to the point where the UK Parliament has asked rumble to demonetize Russell Brand who's a very popular content creator who goes against the legacy corporate media's narratives right and it kind of embarrasses them so what are they doing they're attacking his money they're saying rumble okay they can't they've tried to deplatform people before they've gotten a lot of pushback so what they do instead is that they attack his pocketbook obviously YouTube complied they demonetize Russell Brand's content but rumble said no we're not doing that so love that of rumble we're on rumble we support rumble that's awesome but another thing that I want to say is that the allegations against rubble Russell Brand are just that they are allegations they have not been proven so something that has not been proven is a justification to shut off someone's living that is insane anyways let's check out this letter and this is a letter by part by the UK Parliament the specifically the cultural culture media and sport committee to the CEO of rumble Chris Palavoski who says dear Chris I'm writing concerning the serious allegations regarding Russell Brand in the context of of his being a content provider on rumble for more than 1 .4 million followers the cultural the culture media and sports committee is raising questions with the broadcasters and production companies who previously employed mr. brand to examine both the culture of the industry in the past and whether that culture still prevails today however we are also looking at his use of social media including on rumble where he issued his preemptive response to the accusations made against him by the Sunday Times and Channel 4 his dispatches while we recognize that rumble is not the creator of the content published published by mr. brand we are concerned that he may be able to profit from his content on the platform did you hear what they said the government is concerned that Russell Brand might be able to profit from his content because there was some allegations made against him conveniently a lot of Russell Brand's content is criticisms of the government so I mean big coincidence I guess you would you could say we would be grateful if you could confirm whether mr. brand is able to monetize his content including his videos relating to the serious accusations against him is so we would like to know whether rumble intends to join ryu tube in suspending mr. brand's ability to earn money on the platform we would also like to know what rumble is doing to ensure that creators are not able to use the platform to undermine to undermine the welfare of victims of inappropriate and potential potentially illegal behavior so they asked rumble to demonetize a content creator an independent content creator that's the key word when we had Parker Lewis on the show and I was talking about the legacy corporate media he didn't say no Nico it's not the legacy corporate media it's the legacy government media so anyways why is this happening I think Jeff Booth said this perfectly we read this to you guys the other day and this all boils down to the money this is why we say as Bitcoiners fix the money fix the world here's Jeff Booth he says because broken money Elon Musk said how did most of the legacy media go from superheroes of free speech to supervillains of speech suppression and Jeff Booth says because broken money ensures the centralization of power by stealing the productivity through inflation that should flow to society in the form of lower prices then those enriched by that theft and subsequent power must control the messaging to keep it but it all it wasn't only Jeff Booth that said this here's an article from our friends over at Bitcoin magazine of nine Bukele the president of the country shining on the hill the Savior El Salvador the first country that made Bitcoin legal tender the beachhead for the Bitcoin movement around the world he goes on to say the most vocal detractors the ones who are afraid and pressuring us to reverse our decision are the world's most powerful elites and the people who work or benefit from them they used to own everything and in a way they still do the media the banks the NGOs international organizations and almost all the governments and corporations in the world and with that of course they own the armies the loans the money supply the credit ratings the narrative the propaganda the factories of food supply they control international trade and international law but their most powerful weapon is their control of the truth and they're willing to fight lie smear destroy confiscate print and do whatever it takes to maintain and increase their control over the truth and everything and everyone I think come from Nico or simply Bitcoin that came from the president of El Salvador name Bukele so what is happening here two things are happening here thing number one the internet has empowered individuals and those individuals can now use the internet to uh to grow these massive platforms themselves and because they're individuals they're a lot harder to co -opt and at the same time we are witnessing the distance remediation of money that internet has allowed Bitcoin and Bitcoin has empowered individuals to choose their own money too so government states NGOs international institutions right that have had this privilege of having not only having the monopoly in the control over money but also the monopoly in the control over information it's quickly diminishing in front of their eyes and of course that system is fighting back they can't take that they've been used to operating in a system where they've been able to control the narrative they've been able to control the truth and that is slipping through their fingers and they don't know what to do and that's why they're short -circuiting the way they are that's why we've gotten to a point where the UK Parliament is literally asking a platform to D monetize an independent content creator not to mention all the stuff that was revealed during the Twitter files where it was exposed that the US government even though that is explicitly against the US Constitution the government should not be censoring speech was asking Twitter to D platform D boost and censor certain speech and these are the same governments that also want you to trust them with central bank digital currencies and they expect you to believe that they're not going to use central bank digital currencies as a weapon as a forcing function in order to control your actions as a individual and this was all predicted I might add in the book the sovereign individual which we'll get to during the new segment but this is some crazy times now what can you do to protect yourself in this particular situation do your own research pick what information sources you choose you you want to choose I love Twitter because it's like a news aggregator and the the news that you know pops up pops up Noster is a great platform rumbles a great platform YouTube is is good to do your own research don't rely on a single information source and then most importantly the most empowering thing you could do is to opt out of state money opt into Bitcoin I think that's the most powerful thing you could do look the most important the most important vote you can make that voting for a Democrat or Republican it's not to say that it's not important to vote but the most powerful vote that you can do that will actually change things is voting with your wallet opt out and the way that you do that is you buy Bitcoin earn Bitcoin mine Bitcoin and take that said Bitcoin into self custody the moment you do that you're part of the peaceful Bitcoin revolution whether you are aware of it or not and that is how we win if enough people take self custody we win and there's nothing they could do about it speaking of self custody we have the head of customer experience with us today Bitcoin QA and you guys make it super fucking easy to take self custody with the hardware wallet that you guys make and not to mention the awesome application that you guys make so Bitcoin QA what's your take on this whole Russell brand stuff I can't believe we've reached this point if I would have been told this five five six years ago I would have said that's impossible there's no way that's that that's so ridiculous what's your take on all this yeah before I enter you I've just got to say that was one hell of a fucking monologue I take my half to you that was fantastic yeah kudos and yeah the whole Russell brand thing man just completely shocking another example yet another example of government overreach Russell brands been a thorn in the side of the UK government if you can't tell by the action by the way to anybody's listening that I'm from the UK and he's been a thorn in their side for years and he's a very well educated man he's very well spoken and he has drawn a lot of following by speaking out against money printing against government policy he was rabid about the whole covert thing pharmaceuticals getting rich because of you know yeah you know all of the corruption that went on over those couple of years and I see this recent letter as that them seeing the opportunity as they're into trying you know get one back on him you've touched on earlier that the fact that all of these are just allegations at the moment and the fact that they're going around trying to take money off him from you know he's not been convicted of anything at all that's not see won't be but right now they're just allegations and they're trying to take his money off him it's just completely shocking and they're just trying to lash out because he's been a pain in their ass royally for years so yeah I mean they're just they're just overreaching and leveraging their powers wherever they can just to kind of deep platform and then hurt his wallet as well unfortunately yeah 100 % they attack his money they attack and again like they attack his money and they're also like hey guys these CBDCs like we'll respect your privacy you could trust us what are you talking about anyways Opti what's your take well I actually I kind of want to ask Q &A question because there is some talk about this in the chat what's your thoughts on Russell Brand being like controlled demolition Q &A whoo how do you mean like basically that this is like an orchestrated attack you know once everyone's talking about this maybe Russell Brand isn't necessarily as much of a truth speaker as people are making him out to be like does he actually believe what he's saying or is this just kind of one of those things where you know you create a figure and then you kind of tear him down to discredit the whole movement in general the whole truth movement yeah possibly I think I think most of what he says is genuine he before he started doing all of the YouTube stuff like he was he was a you know some form of a celebrity he had a big following and could have monetized himself as a product in many many other ways by coming out and being as outspoken as he has against the the prickly topics of like money printing and you know COVID etc he must have known you know he's smart enough to know that would have been incredibly divisive to people that followed him so I lean towards the fact that he's genuine and the fact that they're probably gonna try and use him as a scapegoat to warn ward off other people that kind of speak out against any government policy etc etc yeah I'd agree I mean like especially considering what his status was it's hard to follow the incentives and be like yeah he's got a lot to gain from this when in reality he's on the verge of losing everything so I'd agree with you and then just kind of going back to the beginning of this rant and and people are saying epic daily Nico Jones rant today so good job Nico I like when Nico gets get animated remember growing up guys when I grew up I had a saying and I'm sure your mother told it to you as well and we all probably said it in kindergarten you know sticks and stones but words may never hurt me and now we grow up in a world where words are violence like what is going on guys and that's a convenient it's a convenient way I know Nico I was getting there I'm asking rhetorical questions on the show now okay I'm learning some Nico Jones tactics but as we know guys as we know guys you know if you can stop words from being said then you can stop thought and if you can stop thought then you can ultimately stop behavior and this is where they're going they want to ensure that you guys sell censors so that you guys don't lose everything and this is where we are guys that they are absolutely afraid of people speaking the truth they're absolutely afraid of the average person waking up and exposing all of their lives because that's all they have they have lies and favors and they have the monopoly on truth as we think now is more important than ever to speak your minds to make sure you're having these conversations to as the saying goes you know speak truth to power and all that good stuff because there's been a constant theme throughout 2023 or actually rather since 2020 basically is that if your voice is too big and you talk against the establishment then the powers that be will do anything they can to put you back in line and whether that means you know breaking your reputation taking all your money dragging you through the court of public opinion we know what their tactics are and if you're following along closely then you know what the playbook is and it's almost like they're doing the same thing over and over and over again but I think the silver lining of this is that it seems like their playbook isn't working as well as it used to which in some sense should be absolutely terrifying because then they're going to go to even more extremes and you know I'm not gonna say what everyone's thinking but it's gonna get crazy guys and so I think it's just becoming very very clear that as an individual just even a normal person that doesn't have a platform like you want to do whatever you can in your power to protect yourself and hence why we always say that it always boils down to the money guys so protect your money protect your livelihood by taking your Bitcoin into self -custody by saving in Bitcoin and because remember guys this is always about theft they want to take your wealth and put you back in your place and then distribute it and make everyone feel good and we're seeing this happen in real time and it isn't lost on me that this is done via a letter you know it's just like hey how nefarious can a letter be but if you're reading in between the lines then you know how nefarious this letter actually is and that this is a coordinated attack on someone that's talking against the establishment and if people like Russell Brand you know say what you want about him but if people like him can't speak about the truth and they also get run through the grinder like imagine what would happen to an average individual like there's no hope for us if people of that stature can't talk about what's actually going on in the world and hence why it's so important to continue to double down on independent content creation spreading the truth talking about all this stuff because this is all we have we have the truth on our side and as the saying goes you know the truth will set us free so just just don't be afraid you know be brave but also be smart out there and the best thing you can do is just protect yourself and protect your money protect your family and I think as more people do this then the world will slowly but surely start to fix itself anyways you know amen we'll see what happens amen preach brother all right everybody let's get to the news we got a lot to talk about today let's check it out no no no no no no before we do that before we do that I have to give a shout out to our awesome sponsor Bitcoin 2024 it's gonna be the largest Bitcoin conference on planet earth it's gonna be in Nashville Tennessee it's not gonna And today we have a very special guest with us that is joining us all the way from Texas.

A highlight from The Web3 Nonprofit Episode 3 - Black Women Blockchain Council

"We feel that as we're building this ecosystem, there's a need for so many different hands to be involved so that we can build it the right way. I see blockchain as a revolution. I see it as an opportunity to rewrite the wrongs of the past, or at least try to start with a fresh start and create opportunities for everyone and not just a select few in tech. Hi there, welcome to the Web3 Nonprofit, a special 10 -part crypto -ultrism podcast series exploring stories of nonprofits who are leveraging Web3 technology for good. My name is Drew from Crypto -ultrism .org. In this series, we will chat about the highs and lows of being a nonprofit in the world of Web3 and how organizations of all sizes can leverage this transformative technology to grow their impact. So let's dive right in. Welcome, welcome to the third episode of our new very special 10 -part podcast series. In each episode, we will be highlighting a different nonprofit organization that is innovating with Web3 technology. Now before we dive in and welcome our guest, I want to give a special shout out and thanks to Endowment for their partnership in helping bring this to life. So before we get started, I wanted to share a special message from their team. Hey, it's day. So as you know, Endowment lets you gift over a million US nonprofits and thousands more globally and you probably want to support a lot of them. You might be like, I want to support five different organizations. Does that mean I'm going to get five different tax receipts and have to bring them all to my accountant? And I've got something that I think can help. It's called a donor advised fund. You might hear it sometimes called a DAF. Think about it as your personal giving account where you can make one donation and get one tax receipt. Oftentimes you can write off the full amount and then take your time. You can grant to those five orgs, 10 orgs, however many you want all from one place. And because Endowment funds are all on chain, they're faster than traditional DAFs, they're way more affordable and they're transparent. You can follow the money all the way to its destination. So if you're ready to simplify your giving life, go to app .endowment .org and click the start of fund button. And now a word from Larry at the lawyer box. Endowment does not give financial advice that is a job for a licensed tax professional. I love that. Definitely head over to endowment .org that's E -N -D -A -O -M -E -N -T .org to learn about their incredible work. Okay, now the moment we've all been waiting for. For the third episode, we're excited to highlight the work of Black Woman Blockchain Council. An organization incredible with a mission to create a safe space that inspires, trains and activates a talent and economic pipeline of Black women pursuing professional and entrepreneurial careers in blockchain and fintech, including inspiring and educating the next generation of diverse and inclusive blockchain leaders. Today, we welcome to the podcast, Olayinka O 'Danneran, founder and chairwoman of Black Woman Blockchain Council. So let's dive right in. Okay, Olayinka, thank you so much for being here today on the Web3 nonprofit podcast. So excited to have you. Thank you very much, Drew, for having me. I'm excited to be here with you as well. Yeah, yeah, for sure. And, you know, really excited to learn about the fantastic work you're doing with Black Woman Blockchain Council. I've been following it for a while now. You're really doing some really great stuff to just build up, you know, inclusion and to make sure that it's a really positive space to build in. And so to start things off, I'd love to hear your story of how did you end up working in the nonprofit sector? Well, I have to go back a journey to how did I even get involved in the whole blockchain space, right? Yeah, yeah, for sure. So it was around 2015, I wanted to do a startup and I met up with a guy that I had reached out to simply because his name was in a magazine that I was reading about a local startup and she had referenced his name, so I was like, okay, he must be a great person to reach out to. I ended up reaching out to him. We met in D .C. and he was talking about Bitcoin and every time that we met, he kept talking about it. So it piqued my curiosity and I started going down the rabbit hole and fell in love with the technology more than the cryptocurrency and actually got myself involved in the ecosystem as an educator through Black Women Blockchain Council since 2018. That's been going as a benefit LLC, but more for for profit. We really wanted to build a lot more programs in this space to provide access and resources to the black community, especially black women in this space and young girls as well. And so we figured going the nonprofit route would make sense for us to be able to tap into our networks and get them to feel incentivized to donate money so that we can bring a lot more of our programs to life. And that's really how I got involved in 2021. We started Black Women in Blockchain and since then, it's been a great journey that we've been going through. We've had several great sponsors and donors of our effort and brought forth some programs and we're looking to bring forth some more. Definitely. And I'm excited to learn more about those programs, including the training and mentorship and stuff that you offer. I think that's so important and I'm really excited to hear about that. So maybe to start things off, can you please just like at a higher level, introduce listeners to Black Women Blockchain Council, including your mission and impacts? Yeah, so Black Women Blockchain Council, we're here to provide education and awareness about the blockchain technology. Our goal is to make sure that no one gets left behind in this ecosystem that we're building and that there's plenty of resources that are presented to the Black community as well as underrepresented communities within the space. So that way we can continue to grow and really create solutions that can be social impactful. I love that. And I want to dive now a bit more into your programs and on your website, you mentioned how your organization is committed to empowering Black women through comprehensive training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and visibility programs, which is great. Love that, super important. So tell me about the programs you offer. Tell me more about this. Yeah, so we have educational programs. We have a two -track certification program that we created with ConsenSys, which is part of the Ethereum Foundation. They're a huge organization out there and they're really diving in into helping a lot more people get involved in the blockchain ecosystem, in particular, the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem that they're working under. And so with them, we've been able to create these certified programs to allow individuals to one, understand the foundation of blockchain, two, dive deeper into the realms of being a developer. In this space, there's still a lot more people that are just understanding the basics, but not really understanding how to create the technology or build the technical code, I should say, the technology, right? So we want to make sure that women in particular have access to that. And our goal is to bring on board half a million Black women blockchain devs. And that's an ambitious goal by the year 2030. We feel that, you know, as we're building this ecosystem, there's a need for so many different hands to be involved so that we can build it the right way, right? I see blockchain as a revolution. I see it as an opportunity to rewrite the wrongs of the past, or at least try to start with a fresh start and create opportunities for everyone and not just a select few in tech. I love that. And, you know, that's something I've heard consistently when I've spoke with builders, you know, especially builders from communities have been like traditionally excluded from like traditional tech circles and those sorts of things is that like, it's almost like this feeling of like it's wet cement, you know, we can just kind of build from the ground level, have a say in the development of this new ecosystem and learn from the mistakes of web one and web two and build from that and build a more equitable ecosystem. So really appreciate the work that you're doing. I think that's fantastic. So let's say that there's someone listening right now that wants to get involved in that course or take part in the certificate program. How would they go about doing that? Yeah, they can go to our website, bwbc .io and click on BWBC Academy. That will take them directly to our LMS learning management system that we've created specifically for this course and also for individuals to interact with others who are taking the course. They can do it that way. Or they can go to community .bwbc .io forward slash sign up and they'll be able to quickly sign up for the course that way, too. Very cool. I love that. And so you mentioned earlier that you're a public benefit LLC, a nonprofit benefit LLC. Tell me more about the structure in the community behind the organization, because I'm you know, I'm not as familiar with this this type of structure. So tell me more about this and why you chose this. Yeah, because, well, the the it really starts with what the intention of the organization was. When I came into the scene around 2015, not a lot of people were talking about blockchain. And, you know, it was it was a tech space for tech bros. Right. And so you you got surrounded by that. And but then at the same time, you saw opportunities around 2018. There was a huge uproar about a Bitcoin conference and that created avenues for women to really stake their feet into the space and let it be known that there are women in here. I started seeing opportunities being passed around and my fear was that we were in the verge of recreating Silicon Valley in the sense that only a certain group of people were known as the builders of tech. Right. And so I didn't want to repeat what I feel was a mistake. I saw it as a way for us to be able to create an avenue, as I mentioned before. So with BWBC, the intention was really to go into it, creating an opportunity to be impactful into the ecosystem that's being built, as well as the black community. So our intentions wasn't really to generate money, but really create avenues that allow people to to gain the sources, gain awareness. And so the benefit aspect is really what drove that. And so we wanted to make it clear to people that we're not just a fly by night. We really want to have intentional, beneficial programs for the community to get involved. And that's where Benefit LLC came from. Yeah, that's amazing. That's really cool. And, you know, you'd mentioned around, you know, a woman building in Web3 and blockchain. You have a really beautiful piece of artwork in the background there that says the future is female. Love that. That's beautiful. So, you know, what advice, I guess, would you give to two women that are looking to build in the Web3 ecosystem that are maybe hesitant because of this perception of like, you know, that it is maybe reality to some extent, too, that it is, you know, just a tech bro dominated space. What would you say? What advice would you give? I would tell them not to consider it that way. I would tell them that there's a lot of women in this space. One of the things that I've been privileged to have in this space is surround myself by women left, right, front, back, you know, and they're everywhere. So I don't know that type of tech space where there's no women. I know the tech space where there are women because I've been fortunate to be surrounded by them. And I want to let other females know that we're out here. We may not be as vocal. We may not be the one that are pushed to the front, but we're the one that's building. We're the one that's educating. We're the one that's creating community because, you know, you can't have blockchain without community. And Web3 is solely based on community. And the people that are actually taking the time to build that foundation to make it sustainable are the women. And so there's a lot of us here and we're coming from various backgrounds. You could be tech adjacent. And when I say tech adjacent, you know, attorneys are needed more than ever in this space. As educators like myself that are in this space, you know, we have a lot of hackers going on. So if you're in cybersecurity, you're needed in this space. Policymakers are needed. So like these are avenues that women tend to, you know, gravitate towards. But for some reason, they feel that they can't be in tech. Yes, you can be in tech. There's a lot of opportunities and positions for you. And I would say don't let the fear stop you because you just may end up realizing that you love it and you love being here and this is where you need to be. Because right now we're still in the build phase. And so we want you we want all voices to be added to how the structure is being built and what type of foundation so that it can be sustainable. We have so many different, you know, negativity that are coming our way that we're trying to build something sustainable and impactful to society. And women are important in that. Yeah, definitely. And I think, you know, what you said there, too, really stood out to me around, like you don't have to be, you know, a developer, a coder. Right. And I knew that like a lot of people have this perception that you need to have a computer science degree or background and be some super coder to be able to engage and be successful in this new ecosystem. But I think you're 100 percent spot on that, like anyone, no matter what your background can find a place in Web3. Right. If you're a lawyer, an artist, an accountant, you know, a creative. Right. There's just so many opportunities in this space for you to join it and to have an impact, which is great. So I'd love to shift now, if that's OK, a little bit, you know, because you mentioned earlier that you've done some fundraising in the space to be able to raise funds to help get this off the ground. I'd love to hear about your experience fundraising with crypto and, you know, what advice you'd have for other nonprofits, whether it's, you know, a benefit LLC or a charitable organization that are interested in engaging in crypto fundraising. Yes, so for me, it was easier to transfer into fundraising through crypto because I'm in this space, I know how it is. I've been able to meet individuals like Alexis Miller, who works with Endowment, that was able to bring us on board to their platform, which made the exchange from, you know, crypto to US dollar really easy. So I suggest that, you know, this is not a plug, but it kind of sounds like it. You know, Endowment was a lifesaver. The fact that they had such a platform in place really was helpful. But, you know, it's it's just it's just preparing yourself for the future. Right. As a nonprofit, we got to think of avenues, different ways of, you know, fundraising and different ways that people are going to show up with their funds. There's a lot of people that, you know, a couple of years ago made a lot of money in crypto, knowing the IRS is now looking at that and they're thinking, you know, long term capital gains or, you know, taxes, the word taxes is now introduced into this space. A lot of people are looking to actually, you know, find ways to assist them in being deducting their taxes. But I want to say that they're looking for ways to donate, you know, to a really good program or something that's social impactful. So, you know, this is an avenue that a lot of nonprofits are missing out on because they're not looking at crypto. I think it's it's it's just being more sustainable in this space, you know, to be able to take different resources and different funds as a nonprofit and as a new nonprofit. You know, we we can't afford to be closed minded to the way the funds are coming. Any opportunity for us, we're going to research it. We're going to look at it and see if it's viable for us. And it just so happened that crypto was something that we definitely were able to receive. Yeah, definitely. And Love Endowment as well. Huge fan of the work they're doing. Excellent platform. And Alexis, I think it was actually who connected us as well. So shout out to Alexis. Thank you for the work you're doing. But yeah, that's great advice. And I think that, you know, like nonprofits, a lot of nonprofits that I've worked with are struggling to kind of like keep afloat and keep up with all the tech advances and everything and, you know, really relying on kind of their traditional donor base and everything. But that donor base is also really, you know, aging out as well. And, you know, they're really struggling to, I think, attract new donor bases. I think what you said around like it's a great way to like future proof and like, you know, I think, yeah, definitely spot on. And, you know, I think fundraising, too, is just one piece of the puzzle, right? When it comes to the benefits of blockchain and crypto. And so I was wondering, like, you know, beyond fundraising, what are some of the ways that other impact organizations like Charities, B Corps, whatever it is, can leverage blockchain technology to grow their impact? Yeah, I mean, like NFTs, non fungible tokens, right? A lot of people have heard of NFTs, you know, a couple of years ago when people were making ridiculous amount of money, all for what they deemed to be PFPs or profile pictures. Right. But these NFTs can also be a way to incentivize your donors by giving them something, an NFT, an artwork that are either created by the people that were impacted by that donation, by the program that, you know, a symbolism of, you know, a thank you for helping us obtain our goal. I think a lot of people will find value in using NFTs in a way that will be more commemorative of actions that donors have done. And yeah, and it could also be a way to make it fun for especially the younger generation, because they're all into NFTs. So, you know, imagine if a sponsor or sorry, a donor, imagine if a donor decides to present you with some crypto currencies, right? And you send them an NFT just simply as a thank you. That's really impactful for them. And also they will keep it within their portfolio or their gallery. And others can see that NFT. And once they see the NFT has your name, it's another way of marketing, you know, that's nonprofit. So if someone sees it, they can click on it, see the name and then decide to research it, look into what you guys are doing and consider donating that way. So it's it's an ongoing gifting platform or avenue or vehicle that you can use. Yeah, definitely. I know and I think NFTs are so fascinating because a lot of people like look at them and NFTs are just no JPEGs and whatnot. But I think that there's such a cool opportunity there for like nonprofits to use them to engage donors, like you mentioned, right. You know, to recognize and reward them. It can be like a really cool like badge of like a proof of impact. Right. Proof of impact, yeah. Yeah. I've also seen like dynamic NFTs where, you know, it can be updated, you know, as you donate more. So like there's some really creative use cases there. And you're right, too. It can also be a way for the nonprofit to tell a story or to raise awareness of the work they're doing, too. So, yeah, I think that nonprofits should definitely not be so quick to discount NFTs. I think they can be a very valuable tool for them in their in their yeah, in their growth. So, you know, obviously, a lot of nonprofit leaders are skeptical about Web3 and many rightfully so as well. Right. You know, there's been a lot of unfortunately bad actors that I think have kind of tainted the space a bit, you know, which has resulted in a lot of negative coverage, that it's a lot of scams and, you know, bad actors and those sorts of things. So nonprofit leaders are skeptical. So for those that are skeptical to get involved in this new and emerging space, what advice would you give to them? Oh, if you're skeptical, I would say, you know, read up on the technology. Right. Because I did come in being skeptical of crypto, one aspect of, you know, the technology and decided to read up and started seeing, oh, there's so many different possibilities in this space. You know, my background is also in cybersecurity, so I know about hackers and vulnerabilities and all that stuff. And I want to say that just to say that, you know, the breaches and incidents that do happen in this space is not only isolated to this space, it happens elsewhere as well. It happens with fiat, you know, US dollars as well, you know, so you're not really going to prevent all kinds of, you know, vulnerabilities. But however, that should not be the reasons why you decide to stay away. Another thing is, you know, regardless of the things that are happening when it comes to the vulnerabilities and the threats and incidents, so many different industries are already incorporating, you know, the different type of use cases. We have Visa, you know, that just stepped up, you know, their game again. They issued NFTs, now they're doing, you know, USDs, you know, stable coins. And so, you know, there's a lot of people that are slowly changing and things are changing around you, you know, you don't want that negativity to stop your progress into what the future is going to be. And the future is coming. The future is tech, you know, and it's female, but, you know, the future is tech, you know, and it's important for nonprofits to stay up to date. Every single time when people ask me, you know, about why should people be concerned about, you know, crypto or not using crypto, I always think of Blockbuster, right? They were a well -known company when I was younger, you know, used to be able to go to their store, rent out videos and all that stuff. And everybody thought that they were going to be here forever. All of a sudden they're gone, right? They're replaced. And the younger generation have no idea who they are only because they didn't change with time. So as nonprofits, we have to change with time. We have to be kind of one step ahead, you know, wear multiple hats. And I hate to say it, but kind of experimental, you know, in our approaches, in our marketing and in everything, right? Because if we get to the space where we're just stagnant and say, this is the only way that we're going to receive, we're going to be left in the dust. So you do have to conform to tech. You know, even A .I., nonprofits can't be close minded to A .I. is very helpful to a lot of people. The same thing with blockchain technology. You have to be open minded to it. Yeah, definitely. Wow. Great advice. Thank you so much for sharing that. Yeah, I think, you know, it's the future, right? And to stay afloat, to stay relevant, to stay impactful in the future, you got to, you know, stay up to date with these new technological trends and movements. So, yeah, that's some great advice there and great advice all around, some great insights. I appreciate everything you've shared and obviously weren't able to cover everything about the work you're doing. So for those that are listening and that want to learn more and get involved and support the work that you're doing, what's the best way for them to do that? Yeah, so you can go to BWINB .org, which is Black Women in Blockchain, and find out more about us. We are doing a fundraiser right now. And, you know, you can check out our fundraiser. Our goal is to raise money for programs that we want to implement. One of them is a mentorship program for the younger generation, high schools and college students. It's an 18 week course that we're trying to launch. And this 18 week course will allow these younger generations of females to be able to tap into careers in the blockchain space because there's several different careers and give them access to mentors within these different careers so that they can have the opportunity to maybe transition or look into the possibility of transitioning into these wonderful, lucrative careers that are happening in the blockchain space. And there's plenty of them. It's not just developers. You have influencers. As I said, you have regulators, policymakers, lawyers, attorneys, educators, so many different positions and roles. Yeah, definitely. Thank you for sharing that. And of course, those listening in, all the links will be in the show notes so you can follow along and get involved in this incredible movement. And to end on one final note of inspiration, if that's OK, I'd love to hear a recent success story or win that you've had at a Black Women Blockchain Council that you can share with the audience. Yeah, a recent success story was our ability to provide a fellowship program to college students to attend one of our conferences that happened earlier this year. It was the Women of Blockchain, the International Women of Blockchain Conference, which is an annual conference that we put together. It gives you access to different women in this space. As I mentioned, there's a lot of us. And you get to hear from them and what they're building, how they're showing up in this space. And it's a three day conference. So we were able to provide free room at the hotel as well as their travel expenses. And that's something that a lot of conferences don't oftentimes do. They will lower the price for scholar students. But I remember being a college student, you know, I remember not having the resources, but I want to attend. And so we made sure that they were that they had the opportunity to attend for free without having to worry about how they're going to come up with the money and gave them access to a lot of networking. And to this day, a lot of them are finding success in this space. So I'm really excited about that and the potential of what's to come for them. Yeah, totally. That's amazing. I love that. What a great opportunity for those for the scholars to be able to join that conference. And yeah, I think back as a student, I would have never been able to afford to and transportation hotel and, you know, all that stuff to go to a conference. Right. So that's so important and so inspiring for those individuals that we were able to go. So thank you so much for all you do to uplift and build in this space. And thank you for sharing all the fantastic advice you have today for those listening and definitely check out the show notes to follow along. Hopefully you can also support this movement because they're doing a fundraiser right now. So thank you so much for being here, Olga. It was a pleasure to have you. And thank you for the work you're doing. Thank you, Drew. Thank you very much for having me. A huge thank you to Olga for joining us today on the Web3 nonprofit podcast. Make sure to check out the show notes so you can learn more about their work and consider making a donation to this incredible organization. They're actually running a fundraising campaign right as we speak. A big thank you again to Endowment for their partnership in this podcast series. We couldn't have done it without them. So thanks for listening in and make sure to join us again in a couple of weeks for next episode. Also, feel free to head over to cryptoautism .org to learn more about our work and feel free to shoot us a message if you'd like to chat. A highlight from Robert Kiyosaki: Buy Bitcoin NOW, Before Market Crash | EP 828

"Yo, welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution, we cover breaking news, culture, and medic warfare, we will be your guide through the separation of money and state. Robert Kiyosaki, he is the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, it was one of the most influential books that I read in my professional career, in fact it was one of the first books that I read in my late teens, early 20s, I dropped out of college so I took the non -normal path, the path where my parents are like, you're never going to make anything of yourself, and that book was a big inspiration for me, it motivated me and it really kind of changed on my mindset what is money, what is entrepreneurship, what is wealth, so I highly recommend that book if you haven't read it, and the reason I'm talking about this individual today is because he's pretty base, he likes Bitcoin, he likes Bitcoin a lot, and he tweeted something, something actually that he's been tweeting for quite a while, and essentially what he's saying is, you better get yourself some gold, you better get yourself some silver, obviously I don't agree with the gold and the silver, it's not that gold in itself is bad, I just think that the gold market is captured because of gold centralization, because of its physical characteristics it leads to a lot of people cussing their gold, and I think that inevitably leads to rehypothecation, that inevitably leads to manipulation. So, yeah, I think Bitcoin is the insurance, but most importantly, if this news was just on itself, you would say, Niko, this is a bunch of noise, what does it matter if another person is saying to buy Bitcoin? Well you guys know the deal, what we do here at Simply Bitcoin, connect the dots, remember all the people that are saying, buy Bitcoin, the other day I think it was yesterday's episode, you had Jordan Peterson, so you have another influencer, you have another person who has a huge following, who's the author of a very, very famous book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, it's a very influential book, also saying the quiet part out loud, buy Bitcoin as insurance, get on the life raft, so that is awesome, we're gonna talk about that today, and also in the European Union, European Union passed DAC8, and essentially what that would do is it would force crypto service providers to report all transaction information on EU clients, which is something very, very similar to the Elizabeth Warren bill that we covered on yesterday's episode, so yeah, we covered Jordan Peterson on Monday, we covered the Elizabeth Warren stuff yesterday, so you could see where all these countries, the direction that all these countries are heading, as the separation of money and state accelerates, and the nation state tries to maintain that privilege, the privilege, the control of money, the monopoly over money, but I don't think you can stop an idea whose time has come, so they're gonna have a very, very hard time stopping that, I'm very excited for today's show, it's Wednesday, we're halfway through the week, it's time to bring up my legendary co -host, who is literally smiling and laughing, this is Ati all the time, how you doing brother, what's up? I'm doing great, I'm just laughing at you, because like hey, you know, I was joking before the show, I was like okay, let's just get the show done, and you're like, I live for this stuff, this is what I do, and it still works, but we love to do this man, and yeah, to your point, you know, I remember reading Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad, my early days right before I found Bitcoin, and it was definitely one of those defining books in my life that, you know, I think I've come a long way since then, but it was one of those books that definitely got me reading, or at least thinking about money correctly, anyways, on that point, last week we had a kneel on, and someone asked, what are some of the Bitcoin fundamentals, and so I went on my Noster yesterday, and I asked people what they thought are some Bitcoin fundamentals, and shout out to Darth Coin, our simply Bitcoin Telegram group moderator, and he gave me one of his articles, so I'm gonna use that as a jump off point, so hopefully some new people that are in the chat, I saw someone say they just got their first, you know, their first Bitcoin, they just started stacking, so you know, we're new people in the Simply Bitcoin YouTube that maybe aren't as familiar with everything that we know, we're trying to get them on board, you know, I know you guys, I can hear you guys saying, you know, Opti repeats himself so much, but hey, we're trying to get everyone on the same page, not everyone understands as much as you do, and as I jokingly say all the time, I think I've forgotten more about Bitcoin than I remember, but all you need to remember is, stack sad, stay humble, stay solvent, take your Bitcoin off the exchange, keep it simple guys, so we're gonna kind of get back to some fundamentals, give you guys some, as Darth Coin says, some Bitcoin commandments, and we'll kind of have a little chat about that, I'd like to get, or pick Niko's brain about what he thinks are some of the fundamentals as well, so we got a good show, I think actually it's gonna be a fitting show with the Robert Kiyosaki news as well. Robert Kiyosaki man, it's absolute legend, love, love his work, love the book that he wrote, also guys if you're enjoying the show, help us break 100 likes within the first hour, I think yesterday, or the day before, we broke 200 likes, so if you're watching the live stream right now on Rumble, YouTube, Twitter, make sure to smash that like button, also join Simply Bitcoin's Telegram group, it's absolutely free, we're almost, we're about to hit a thousand people in there, so just go to t .me slash simply Bitcoin TV, join it, it's a party, you can tag Opti there with some memes and he'll feature them on the show. Alright everybody, no more delay, let's jump straight into the numbers, we got a lot to talk about today, let's check it out. The Bitcoin Numbers Is your Bitcoin and cold storage really secure? Is your seed phrase really secure? Stamped Seeds Do It Yourself Kit has everything you need to hammer your seed words into commercial grade titanium plates, instead of just writing them on paper, don't store your generational wealth on paper, paper is prone to water damage, fire damage, you wanna put your generational wealth on one of the strongest metals on planet earth, titanium. Your words are actually stamped into this metal plate with this hammer, and these letter stamps, and once your words are in, they aren't going anywhere, no risk of the plate breaking apart and pieces falling everywhere. Titanium stamped seeds will survive nearly triple the heat produced by a house fire, they're also crush proof, waterproof, non -corrosive, and time proof, all things that paper is not, allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for the long haul. Stamp your seed on stamp seed. Alright guys, I literally made it easy for you guys, scan the QR code on your screen with your phone, it will take you directly to the stamp seed website, you can use promo code simply to get 15 % off anything on the stamp seed website, store your generational wealth on fucking titanium bro, titanium. Anyways, the Bitcoin price at the recording is 27 ,155, sats per dollar, 3 ,683, block height 808 ,601, blocks to halving 31 ,399, halving estimate April 21st, 2024, total lightning network capacity 4 ,829 Bitcoin, capacity value 131 million US dollars, realized monetary inflation rate, inflation 1 .75%, continuing to take fiat currencies to absolute school, market capitalization, 529 billion dollars with a B, Bitcoin versus gold market cap 4 .09%. In the grand scheme of things, Bitcoin is still a tiny little baby. Anyways, something to point out, something very interesting, which is the Bitcoin versus gold market cap. That will continue to go up if Bitcoin reaches the gold market cap, that is 500 million dollars sorry yes, 500 ,000 dollars per Bitcoin, rough estimate. So and we all know that Bitcoin is better than gold because of its physical characteristics. Again I know a lot of people that like gold in the chat and I appreciate you all and I'm a fan of gold too, gold bar like physical gold I'm a big fan of but problem is that most people don't like they don't they don't buy physical gold, they buy paper gold. That's the issue right? With Bitcoin you know it allows you to take self custody of your Bitcoin extremely easy, you know you don't have you don't have to wait for it to get physically mailed to you. If you go to El Salvador where Bitcoin is legal tender and you go to a McDonald's you know you could pay with your Bitcoin because Bitcoin has a bunch of decimal places you know it's divisible it's goes through the internet if you use lightning network it's instantaneous you know the main chain writes roughly 10 minutes settlement but you'll still see the transaction immediately.

A highlight from Jordan Peterson: Scrap the Banks, Adopt Bitcoin | EP 825

"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin, it's going up for everyone, you're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo, welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution, we will be your guide through the separation of money and state. Crazy news, Jordan Peterson, one of the most influential people on planet earth in terms of media, basically said the quiet part out loud, he said, scrap banks, adopt Bitcoin. And the crazy part about this, right, is what you hear from a lot of the political rhetoric, right, what you hear from a lot of the people that correctly identify the problems, like Xavier Millie is a great example of this, right, he's correctly identified the issue, the issue is central banking, the issue is the state, right? But you if correctly identify the issue without providing a solution, you're not really going anywhere, like the whole end the Fed movement, shout out Ron Paul, because I think he really, really started that in the United States, like, that's great, right? But what it and the Fed, and then what, and the Fed and then Bitcoin. So when someone who has that much influence outside of the Bitcoin echo chamber is not only saying scrap banks, but is actually presenting the solution to his mainstream audience that is not, that is not inside the Bitcoin echo chamber, that is a really, really big deal. So we're going to get into that, he has a massive following not only on YouTube, also on Twitter, I know a lot of people don't agree with his politics. And you know, and I respect that. And I understand that. But what I ask you is to zoom out, it's not his, his politics are irrelevant to this cause to what we're trying to achieve here. And what we're ultimately trying to achieve is a separation of money and state peacefully, people waking up realizing that no one should have the ability to create money for free that someone else has to work for. And they opt out into not only a, not only a currency that is not inflationary, but is actually deflationary, your purchasing power increases over time. So that's why this is a big deal. That's why it's a big deal when people like Jordan Peterson, people like Joe Rogan, people like Tucker Carlson, when they taught Tim Pool the other day, it's very, very important that those individuals that have massive followings, independent followings outside of the legacy corporate media talk about Bitcoin, because that is when the mainstream starts to start starts to ask questions. And I'm very, very glad that Jordan Peterson not only correctly identified the problem, but also said, okay, the solution is Bitcoin. Now this was a, this is a major effort by the Bitcoin community, right? There was a podcast that he did with Robert Breedlove, Gigi. I think he did one with Safedean also that all contributed to him coming to that conclusion that Bitcoin was the answer, just like how Max Kaiser went on Tucker Carlson, just how Michael Saylor went on Tucker Carlson, just how Marty Bette went on Tucker Carlson. Bitcoiners breaking out of the Bitcoin echo chamber, getting into the ears of huge, massively popular mainstream independent content creators so that they can tell their audience, guys, it's not left or right. It's not, it's not all this stuff that you guys are getting caught distracted with. The issue is the money. You fix the money, you fix the world. That's why I'm so hyped about today's episode. Anyways, I want to bring up my legendary cohost. He's getting more professional by the minute. He's wearing polos now. Are we just, are we just, are we just poloing it up bro from, from now on? Is that what we're doing? Yo, Anders was trolling me that I, that I allegedly am going to be wearing a suit in LA. I don't have a suit, so maybe I'll have to buy a suit so that I can be more professional. No, it was literally, it just got washed. It was on my computer chair and I'm like, all right, I'm wearing a polo today. It is what it is. It is what it is. But you're wearing a lot more polos as of late, bro. I have two polos and it's like I put on a button shirt and everyone's like, Oh, you're so professional. It's like, guys, I'm just not wearing a hoodie and a t -shirt, but Hey, I don't know. I will do a poll. Do people want me to wear polos anymore? I, whatever, whatever. Anyway, this is not about my fashion decisions. Okay. Um, yeah, man, Nico, crazy stuff. I can't wait to break down this whole new story today, but we'll save that for later. On that note, we do have a guest today. Shouts out to Stefan, a Bitcoiner, and we're really going to dive in on the connections between health and Bitcoin and why you guys need to get healthy out there. It's super important. Anyway, Stefan, how are you doing today? I'm great, guys. Thanks for having me on. Thanks for joining us on Simply.

A highlight from Episode 122 - Sept. 17th, 2023 - B.A.N.S

"All right, all right, all right, all right. Welcoming you guys to another lovely episode of On The Record Podcast. I am DJ Intense, your host the most. And to the left of me, I have I am Walt. What's up, Walt? I'm about to say another word, my guy. If you guys heard earlier, you know, we were just doing some things off cameras. They're off the record. Things we don't, we're not going to bring on the record. And if we are, you're not going to get it. Unless you paid for it to Patreon. You know? Yeah, me too. That voice you hear right now, but there's no other than Ceddi said, what's up Ceddi? The infamous C -E -D. What's up people? How you doing people? I'm doing all right, I'm doing all right, man. You know, we took some time off. It was Labor Day weekend. Yeah. And then the final weekend, which is work weekend. Dude, we were work, work, work, work, work. Nonstop. Dude, I just figured they don't. Almost 90 hours of work. OT, OT. Man. One day was 20 hours of work. That's the state job. I can't wait till you quit that job. You and I both, brother. I need to make some money, but working like a slave ain't it, man? Nah. Bob Brock just said it. You think that you can get by with this hard work alone? Nah, you're fooling yourself. You're fooling yourself. Used to do that, but now you're doing that. It's a lie. It's a lie. It's a myth. All people is you do hard work, and you'll become a successor, that's all. Listen, reality is in this country, in America, you have to do a lot of grime. You gotta do a lot of collaboration. Depending on how you wanna do it, but most of the time, all those people who are billionaires and trillionaires are the ones who did the most foul -ish humanly possible to get what they're at right now in life. Listen, right now we're at over 180 days in the writer's strike and the actor's strike right now. And it could have ended this right now. This thing should have been handled already. $50 million for both unions. And now they're gonna get a loss of over $300 to $500 million because of this strike. And you have people like Drew Barrymore's punk ass. Well, she reneged on it though. She had to, because dude, she was getting the business with the WGA and the SGA. And it's separate, you know. Even... Bill Maher's bitch ass too, man, was... I didn't get the damn thing off the running. Was, oh, I don't need no writers, I'll be our show. Look, dude, your show sucks. The Seddie Swear Counter is in full effect. There you go, you have one. You can do like a ding sound from now on for my swears. I'm gonna keep it calm. I'm gonna keep it professional. Seddie the Sailor Man. I can't swish, come on. Listen, man, I'm just telling you, when Seddie get that spinach boy, man, we poppin' ice today. Oh, yeah. Little bird watch out. Now, but on some real issues, like dude, Bill Maher, the guy who said, I'm not a field n -word, I'm a house n -word, and who crapped on Stan Lee after he died and stuff, and says a bunch of other ridiculously retarded things, says he's gonna do a show. Stan Lee who? Marvel comic Stan Lee. Oh, Stan Lee, oh. That's what Bill Maher said. Yo, he be going extra heavy trying to relate to us blacks. You're a not house n -word. You're at the table, bro. You got the good chair. You got the good piece of chicken. He used to be down by the dam, but nowadays, man, it's horrible. He's just, you know, he's trying. What the legend Paul Mooney said, everybody wants to be black, so it's time to be black? Listen, you think Paul Mooney is trying to be black and competent? Hell no. I want to be in a gated community area. What's wrong with you? Like he says, everybody wants to be black. He listen to King Koon, so he know what that's about. Yeah, but Bill Maher is doing his show still, which I think it was crap with writers. It's going to be crap about writers. And then, you know, you're going to have to hire writers who are not non -union writers. We're going to be scabs. We're going to pretty much destroy their any chance of them getting actual work when the strike is done. If you get caught. Well, if you are what you say you are, then have no fear. Even if you're on YouTube and you want to get a chance of being in the industry, you can't do no reviews. No, no movie reviews, no TV show reviews, nothing. There's a strike. You doing that? You will be known and accounted for when you want to get your membership. And trust me, you don't want those problems. But my thing is, if there was already YouTubers like successful already doing movie reviews and being credible and stuff like that, that won't affect them. Is it already locked in like a partnership or whatever with certain movies? Then they could do it. As long as they get the permission from their respective union. OK. If they do something brand new, if we're coming out with The Exorcist coming out next week, they can't do no review for that at all. Oh, wow. Wah wah. Listen, I can't go into it because I want to become in that union because I want to be a voice actor. You want to sell out. I get it. So I can't speak on it at all. No, no, no. He's not selling out. No, he wants to. He wants to. No, he doesn't want to sell out. You want the Disney money. No, I want to buy in. He wants to buy in. Oh, yes. You want to buy in, you got to sell out, right? No, the license is fucking me, bro. I'm just saying. The license, the thing to get a SAG card, it's over $3 ,000 to get a SAG card. And you have to get that SAG card in order to get some work and residuals and all that stuff. That's just what it is. Listen, man, listen, Harvey Weinstein's in prison, bro. He can't get to you, my guy. He can't get to you, my guy. Listen, man, don't take that hotel meeting, bro. Am I Rose McGowan? Shoot it. It's either a Zoom call. I'm actually Judd. It's either a Zoom call or a posh Beverly Hills restaurant or a Permell Studios, wherever that super creep was out here making his rounds. But you don't got to worry about that no more. Filthy behavior. One of the girls was saying like, yeah, when I said no more hanky panky, you know. He felt a way. Yeah, you want that rolling letter to there, don't you? My guy, how could he feel a way? You've been imposing your will on these ladies for a long time. Speaking of entertainment, you had a concert this weekend, right? Yeah, yeah. I was, you know, I was like. This guy was really outside. I was like, I was like, I was like. What concert was this? I was like. Let me tell you. Go ahead, say it. I was like from the acting sheriff up north, back to back out here, you know. Yes, so for all the first time, longtime listeners, and you know, last time listening to how evidence goes, I had a couple of shows. This past Thursday, I went to an event that was sponsored by Spotify for up and coming artists. I saw three, three very, very talented artists. The main artist I went to see goes by Kamari. He's an artist that I discovered around COVID. He has a lot of like influences. He reminds me of like a Frank Ocean. He's really that, you know, artist type dude. And he put out this great, incredible album called A Brief Nirvana, which I advise everybody to check out. His name is Kamari, K -H -A -M -A -R -I. Highly recommend him. And I also saw these two other artists from the UK, St. Harrison and Elmin. That's my boy. And overall, it was a great experience, very, you know. It was at SOB, Sound of Brazil in New York City. Very intimate setting, great turnout, great energy.

A highlight from Why Tucker Carlson is a Bitcoiner | EP 825

"Yeah, welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin and religion of carbon making news called Traumatic Warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state before anyone makes fun of me in the chat. My mother -in -law got me these like blue light blocker glasses and I put them on last night and I felt like immediate relief and there's like different shades for it. So like these are like nighttime when the TV is there and then these are like right before you're gonna go to sleep but apparently these are for daytime. Anyways, they're badass, your eyes literally feel like they're relaxing and Opti of course is already trolling me and as well, I'm sure the chat is as well. So that's why I'm wearing these, maybe I'll continue wearing, they feel good, I'm on my computer all day, you know what, I don't care at this point. Anyways guys, today's gonna be a great, great show, orange tinted glasses, I didn't think about that. Today's gonna be a great show, we're gonna talk about the man, the myth, the legend, Tucker Carlson himself. His show last night that he released on Twitter, which I highly, highly recommend, actually has last time I checked, 320 million views, it beat the interview that he did with Donald Trump by like 100 million views. And once again, you have a politician, right, so Justin Trudeau is basically gaslighting saying like, you know, we have to put price controls on the grocery stores for raising the prices and all that stuff. But you have a politician who is literally identifying the problem, he's literally saying the government is the problem, the money printing is the problem, the government is the sole cause of these things. You have an Austrian economist who has a really good opportunity, really good shot at winning the presidency. And why I believe this video was so popular was the same reason as to why I believe that video Richmond, North of Richmond, went viral the way it did. People are feeling the pain, people are questioning the current system, and people are desperately seeking an alternative, which is why I believe this this hardcore libertarian Austrian economist has a really good shot at winning the presidency in Argentina, and the country is currently dealing with 100 % inflation, like, like, obviously, people are questioning it. And when you have a politician who's actually identifying the real cause of inflation, like people put two and two together, right? Javier Meli wouldn't be popular if he didn't strike a nerve. Richmond North of Richmond wouldn't have gone viral, right? Without any of the marketing and any of the push by the big studios, it was just basically a very small studio, it's a guy in his backyard with his dog, literally singing into a microphone. That would not have gone viral if it did not resonate with people, if people weren't feeling the pain that he was feeling, right? So this is, we are living through, in my opinion, the separation of money and state. All these roads, like even if Oliver Anthony, and even if, you know, Javier Meli, you know, and we know he likes Bitcoin, but you know, he wants to dollarize the country, all roads eventually lead to Bitcoin. Some people take the longer road, some people take the shorter road, but eventually it all leads to the inevitable conclusion that we have to separate money from state, because as long as the state has the privilege of being able to create money for free that everyone else has to work for, they will abuse that privilege to benefit themselves and benefit their friends at the expense of everyone else. And this is exactly what Bitcoin fixes. So this is really, really exciting times. Tucker, I don't think he would be at this point if it wasn't with the conversations that he had with Naeem Bukhale. Tucker would not be at this point if it wasn't, if he didn't have the conversations with Michael Saylor. Tucker would not be at this point if he didn't have the conversations with Max Keiser. And even though he was the most popular broadcaster on the legacy corporate media, his words were so dangerous that they had to fire the guy. And that makes sense. Look at all the other articles that are that's coming out of the legacy corporate media attacking Naeem Bukhale, attacking Javier Milli. Because I think they're exposing the fraud that is fiat money and the fraud that is the current established system anyways, it's going to be a great show before we get to it. I want to bring up my legendary co -hosts. We're both wearing glasses now, Opti. Opti was making, I was telling you hard, it's so much fun of me in the beginning, but I'm going to buy you a pair. You're going to be you're never going to take off anymore because I need the colorblind one. Your eyes are literally going to relax, bro. Like your eyes are literally like look at my eyes are like relaxing right now. They're like they're like, oh, like I don't even know what that means that your eyes feel relief. Like you don't even know what that means, bro. I have no idea. I've never looked as cool as you do right now with those glasses on. So I wouldn't know. I wouldn't know. But anything anyways to the opening monologue, which was great, very, very eloquent. And you had that politician rhetoric going right there. I really liked it. I really enjoyed it. One of the things that's pretty crazy is the fact that Tucker got so many views on this. What what I don't know what it is now, but last time I checked, it was like three twenty two, three hundred twenty two million. Like that's damn near the whole U .S. population. And we all know that Fox wasn't getting to every single person in the U .S. Obviously, it's global. But that reach that Tucker has on Twitter or X is just it's absolutely crazy. And this goes back to what we keep saying all the time of breaking the echo chamber and planting these ideas. And of course, Tucker doesn't have to go full Bitcoin maxi like we do on our show. But the fact he's having these conversations, I think does feel like a shift in the zeitgeist and people are waking up. And we've been kind of covering pinpoints and receipts about this constantly, whether it's the song, whether it's a post that I did yesterday in the culture, whether it's the tick tock videos, like people are feeling the pain and they're asking the questions. And so, you know, the soil is right for people to understand Bitcoin and for everyone to get on the Bitcoin standard. So it's just, wow, three hundred and thirty five million views now. OK, the Overton window is crazy, man, is shifting, man. People are sick and tired. People are sick and tired of the gaslighting. You had Opti's ex -girlfriend literally telling people that the cause of inflation is because workers are asking for more salary. Like it's absurd. Anyways, we do have a very special guest today. We have James from Stamp Seed and we're going to talk about the stamp seed before. Look, I got to show off my stamp seed hammer. Look at this thing. Nice. There you go. We got we got to we got to stamp seed hammers. So I'm very excited for the culture. We're going to talk about the stamp seed, why you should back up your Bitcoin wallet seed words on titanium, one of the strongest metals on planet Earth. Is that is that correct, James? That's correct. One hundred percent. Yeah, man. So we're going to we're going to we're going to. We're going to dive deep into all that. And I know a lot of you guys I know that you did you guys did a lot of the stress testing. I think it was Lop that did some of the stress testing comments. Migo, you remind me of Bono from YouTube. It's true, but I don't think Bono was wearing these. I think Bono was wearing these for stylistic reasons. I'm wearing these so that my eyes could relax from the from the evil blue light that's coming out of my screen anyways. So, yeah, you guys did a lot of stress testing on the stamp seed. That's correct, right? Yeah. We haven't had Lop stress tested yet. I think that's in the works right now. But we tested ourselves in house, various different sources of heat. One of them was a blowtorch, which is similar to Elon Musk, not a flamethrower, which is reaching temperatures triple the average house fire. This is one of the plates that we had stress tested. You can see it's been burnt to a crisp. That's why there's all that discoloration. We marred it up. So where you can see those hammer marks are hit. You can still see your letters. It might not come out too clear in the camera. Bent it, crushed it, you know, being that it's one solid piece and your letters are stamped deep into the metal when you bend it. Things aren't going to. There you go. Look at that. Look at that. Yeah. Things aren't going to fall apart. You know, there's no loose pieces, no loose tiles, you know, Scrabble pieces, I like to call them. Everything's in there. Yeah. Like this is like as if your house caught on fire that elephants stamped on the ruins afterwards. Yeah, right. This is what this looks like. Yeah. Or if you know your house, you know, you have two floors, maybe the first floor collapses during that fire. And, you know, you have some crushing issues on top of it. But chances are things like that hopefully aren't happening to most people. But if they do, you're secure. If they do, your money, your generational wealth is protected. Anyways, guys, let's jump into the numbers. I want to talk about Tucker. I want to talk about with about everything that's been happening. Let's check it out. The Bitcoin numbers, is your Bitcoin and cold storage really secure? Is your seed phrase really secure? Stamped seeds do it yourself kit has everything you need to hammer your seed words into commercial grade titanium plates instead of just writing them on paper. Don't store your generational wealth on paper. Paper is prone to water damage, fire damage. You want to put your generational wealth on one of the strongest metals on planet Earth titanium. Your words are actually stamped into this metal plate with this hammer and these letter stamps. And once your words are in, they aren't going anywhere. No risk of the plate breaking apart and pieces falling everywhere. Titanium stamp seeds will survive nearly triple the heat produced by a house fire. They're also crush proof, waterproof, non -corrosive and time proof. All things that paper is not allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for the long haul. Stamp your seed on stamp seed. All right, guys, I literally made it super easy for you guys. You can scan the QR code on your screen. It'll take you directly to the stamp seed website and you can use promo code simply to get 15 percent off any of the stamp seed products. And I know you guys are doing custom back plates, too. I saw some that were really bad ass. Yeah. So do you have one, by the way, on hand? I do, actually.

A highlight from Michael Saylor: Bitcoin to $5 Million is Inevitable | EP 824

"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin. It's going up for everyone. Bitcoin! You're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo! Welcome to Simba the Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution cover breaking news called dramatic warfare will be your guide through the separation of money and state today is September 14th 2023 another day in Bitcoin another day on the Bitcoin roller coaster they don't call the Bitcoin roller coaster for no reason there's ups and downs we hit 25k we're back to 26 ,697 but if you zoom out if you zoom out in the grand scheme of things if you believe in the meme 21 million divided by infinity or infinity divided by 21 million I think it is we all know we're early but there's something I want to talk about today specifically there was a very famous spaces that Michael Saylor did and I think he did it with some some legacy media people there's a huge spaces and there was three things that he said needed to happen in order for Bitcoin to 10x and then during that spaces he even said if these thing if these three things happen Bitcoin will inevitably hit five million dollars per coin now what were those three things first thing was the changing of the FASB rules right with the accounting the fair value accounting rules and that happened not too long ago we broke the news I wasn't there I had some swan duties that day but Opti and I think it was Rustin were holding it down so we covered that and then number two was large banks right I'm not talking about like small banks or you know these these Bitcoin crypto focused banks I'm talking about large banks offering institutional custody of Bitcoin of digital assets for their clients check that off that's happening you have banks all around the world whether it's Panko Santander the news that came out today which is I wanted to cover this is Deutsche Bank is applying for a license to custody digital assets for their customers and then there and the third thing which has been like the big news of this year is the BlackRock spot Bitcoin ETF or now I would even I wouldn't even call it the BlackRock just a Bitcoin spot ETF those are the three things that Michael Saylor said needed to happen in order for Bitcoin to just go parabolic into this five million you know etc etc and those things are basically already happening like the FASB check that off right that was a huge does a massive deal so check that off the list that doesn't start that doesn't start going into action until the year 2025 then you have so that's the FASB ruling then you have banks large banks cussing Bitcoin check that off the list as well really the only thing out of those three things is the BlackRock spot ETF or sorry the spot I keep saying BlackRock maybe it's a Freudian slip the spot Bitcoin ETF how long will Gary Gensler be able to delay this he got absolutely hammered in in Congress there was a hearing this week so yeah I mean this is pretty crazy and it's really interesting if you've been here for a while you know Opti and I are class of 2016 Opti's class of 2017 but it's the same epoch really you know one of the narratives that existed when Bitcoin was falling you know it fell from 20k back down to 3k and one of the coping narratives all the way down was the institutions are coming the institutions are coming the institutions are coming I think you could say without a doubt that the institutions are here you can't deny that now the thing is do the institutions have the necessary infrastructure to onboard on to Bitcoin and I think that's an open question but you can't deny that the institutions want exposure to Bitcoin that's undeniable right we broke the news the other day that BlackRock had a lot of micro strategy had a lot of exposure to public to publicly traded Bitcoin mining companies as well right so it's some very interesting stuff now here's the thing though right so yes this number go up whoop -dee -doo but remember the revolution is individuals taking back financial sovereignty by taking Bitcoin into self -custody so just because you're buying a Bitcoin spot ETF for BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF do Charles Schwab or Robin Hood or whatnot that that isn't real Bitcoin that's paper Bitcoin that's an IOU the only way that you get true real Bitcoin is by you know buying Bitcoin earning Bitcoin mining Bitcoin and taking that said Bitcoin into cold storage right and then preferably the step after that is stop trusting someone else's copy of the blockchain run your own run your own node the one I recommend personally because it's the one I use is start 9 they're freaking awesome so definitely check them out if you're interested in running a Bitcoin node but yeah it's a very interesting times that we're living in but uh you know I don't think I've ever been so bullish how you doing Opti and we're in the the simply Bitcoin merch today bro you're modeling I love it yeah yeah it's uh it's raining right now it's it's officially hoodie season so you're raining but you're inside yeah whatever I feel like wearing a hoodie today if it's nice it's comfy I'm wearing this all the time get yourself one at simply Bitcoin calm yeah man it's hey let your boy live for once geez yeah crazy you're not in uniform bro you you went from collared shirts to hoodies what happened you're regressing well suits coming soon I had a conversation with Chris yesterday I missed that episode man I love Chris shout out the coin shout out our boys over a Bitcoin mag but yeah crazy uh crazy developments and we really talked about it yesterday as well pretty pretty extensively on the show of how it is undeniable that the institutions want your Bitcoin there is so much institutional investment and there's just so much capital waiting on the sidelines for everyone for to get a shirt into Bitcoin you know like all the biggest asset managers well not all of them but many of the big asset managers of the world are looking to get exposure to Bitcoin we're seeing huge banks do the same thing and it just goes to show you that you guys are early and we are on the precipice of an amazing bull run as far as I'm concerned and now is the time to be stacking sats it's still what 26k so like we got the best opportunity ever and I know everyone is losing their mind because this bear market's been so long but this is where legends are made anyways on today's culture I saw this a couple tweets from Tom Luongo and if you guys aren't familiar with him he's a great I guess you call him like he is kind of low -key a gold bug and I know he's kind of maybe loosely understands Bitcoin but he created this meme in and I really wanted to touch on it today because it kind of changed my views on what we've been talking about we're always talking about you know the normies out there or in the not so nice way you know the sheeple out there and he coined this new phrase about like the masses comfortable are our wolves and I really want to cover this because I think it does change the framing and it's a little more positive view on what's going on in the world and we talk about it constantly that people need to feel pain and once they feel that pain and they wake up man shits gonna get really crazy and it really does feel like this is where we are right now so you know just prepare yourself it's it's you know are we on the precipice of a global recession who knows are we you know are we currently in a depression I don't know the official numbers are lying to us but we know that inflation is higher than they want and your purchasing power is going down the drain and I have these conversations with a bunch of my Bitcoin friends and we're all feeling the same thing it's like man dude things are getting more expensive and it's only a matter of time until people start to ask what the hell is going on right now and this is why we keep planting the seeds here on the show you know in personal conversations with people in real life and it's like we have built the foundation for people to protect themselves to get on the exit boat get on the safety net which is Bitcoin so get on the Bitcoin standard guys get on the Bitcoin standard that's right just get on the Bitcoin standard get on the life raft and you know you be watching the world around you doing doing its thing but you know that your future your family's future your wealth your time your energy your work is protected by the largest decentralized computing sorry I'm laughing at the chat you guys are wild breath the Bitcoin numbers is your Bitcoin in cold storage really secure is your seed phrase really secure stamped seeds do -it -yourself kit has everything you need to hammer your seed words into commercial grade titanium plates instead of just writing them on paper don't store your generational wealth on paper papers prone to water damage fire damage you want to put your generational wealth on one of the strongest metals on planet earth titanium your words are actually stamped into this metal plate with this hammer and these letter stamped seed that's right ladies and gentlemen don't put yourself in a position where you have to explain to your grandchildren while you lost your generational wealth because you decided to store it on paper store your generational wealth on titanium one of the strongest metals on planet earth you could scan the QR code on your screen right now to take you directly to stamp seed website use promo seven hundred seventy six Bitcoin capacity value a hundred and twenty seven million US dollars realized monetary inflation 1 .75 % the market capitalization of Bitcoin five hundred and nineteen billion dollars with a B Bitcoin versus gold market cap four point zero seven percent very very very nice all right good numbers overall you know I love my favorites that I always tell you guys this is the realized monetary inflation of Bitcoin 1 .75 % that number is going to continue to go down forever so it continues to take fiat currencies absolute school even if they get it to their targeted Holy Grail 2 % inflation you know it's not even gonna come close anyways I do have some ways you got my favorite number is block height cuz that number is going up forever Laura that that that number just it just makes an all -time high every ten minutes the matter what next block it's almost like a coin walk next block anyways here's a clip I have two clips for you guys here's a clip from SEC chair chair Gary Gensler and he said some interesting things at the hearing we're gonna play you some clips of this hearing as the days go by though so let's check out this clip and I have another one then we'll talk about it and help protect Americans from the crypto abuses that cost consumers billions if they were to live up to the investor protection built into their current laws it would help investors but right now unfortunately there's significant non -compliance and it's a field which is rife with fraud abuse and misconduct and help protect Americans from the so I I want a friend two things right I agree in a way and I agree in the sense that it is full of fraud it is full of abuse it is full of misconduct now the initial part and help protect Americans from the crypto abuses that cost consumers billions I'm gonna reframes that right from the crypto abuse that cost consumers billions fine you could say shit coins you could say this what about from the governmental inflationary abuse that cost people all around the world millions if not billions of dollars why is that never talked about and that brings me to one of Tucker's episodes that he did in Argentina he did an episode about a 10 -minute episode covering what's happening in Argentina he's gonna cover he's gonna interview Javier Maly Javier Maly is he is he's a hardcore Austrian economist libertarian he wants to end the central bank you know he wants to cut down on the administrative state all of that stuff he said some pretty crazy stuff not gonna lie Tucker's gonna interview him tomorrow but what was really interesting about Tucker's opening monologue which we're going to cover extensively tomorrow is he said the quiet part out loud the invade and inflation is deft politicians aren't productive the way that they raise money is through direct taxation but they could only do that for so long until people revolt so they do that through the hidden tax of inflation we must continue to chip away at this like you know peacefully of course but Chico chip away at this move the Overton window start get start getting people to ask the question what is money why does my money lose purchasing power is it necessary for my money to lose purchasing power that's when people are gonna start asking really big questions and remember they do not have a response to this anyways talking about shifting the Overton window here's Joe squawk five years ago you would have never have believed this we did have a a Bitcoiner who was a writer for Forbes and he got a bit upset when I said that the legacy corporate media changed their tune because of the black rock spot ETF and he said no that's not true I was working at Forbes from before okay I take his word for it he's a cable are news you trying to tell me that the interest from black rock to launch a spot ETF has not influenced their change of tune whatsoever I don't know about that anyways here's Joe squawk it's about a one -minute clip and then we'll talk about it and move on to crypto if you'd indulge me for a second because we always have these crypto conversations and there seems to be this thing happening I don't know Joe we were talking about $25 ,000 with Bitcoin meanwhile black rock and all these folks all the folks that we thought were never gonna do this are now doing it and yet it's not moving at all well it's moving today well I mean sure 26 this is 26 it was for when when we started saying it wasn't going anywhere 4 ,000 oh okay but so but the question is is this now a risk on a risk off thing what do you how do you even correlate this to what's happening with the Fed because for a long time used to talk about crypto in regard to the Fed so I think crypto settling as part of the ecosystem I think people have recognized it is not the new global currency people have also recognized not going to disappear tomorrow is becoming institutionalized and I think actually if I were a crypto person I think this maturation process is a good thing where it moves from day to day is I can't really comment on that I still think it's outperformed every asset one year five year and ten year I mean I think I think he's pretty jaded a little bit right like you know it's going to zero at 4 ,000 and mind you like Pete Russo does a great job doing this but like he goes back in time and finds like original posts of people which is why it's so important to zoom out when in doubt of people posting a Bitcoin isn't going anywhere and Bitcoin was at like $100 Bitcoin was at like $200 at the time right so like when in doubt zoom out obviously Joe is completely converted he's like why have we been talking about the short -term volatility when we started when we started covering this it was literally at $4 ,000 it's at 26 ,000 at the at the you know depths of bear market he gets it I mean and this is actually one of the things that has helped me orange pill as many people as possible it hasn't been me saying the bitcoins better money it hasn't been me saying like oh look you know separate money from state hasn't been me saying you know it's a deflationary currency blah blah blah blah blah blah you know it's been the biggest converter of people you plant the seed you say Bitcoin right they ignore you for like a couple of years and two three years later pass number goes up and all of a sudden you get that text from that friend that you haven't talked to you in a long time and he's like hey about that Bitcoin thing ng you is the biggest converter of people it is the biggest orange pillar in my opinion is the most effective way and clear you could see that with Joe right he was like hmm yeah I mean we started covering this was at 4k I don't know why you're talking about the short -term volatility what the hell's wrong with you anyways why are you pulling that up Opti oh it's from wine it's from wine anyways why what's why you know all the disgrace you've ever done and all the controlling calling me why it might be the worst no I'm just trolling love you wine anyways first and foremost you know shout out the Joe Kernen absolutely love to see him just constantly battle the corporate BS FUD around Bitcoin and and I say this all the time you know like number go up love it or hate it is the fundamental thing driving all a Bitcoin adoption there's that and then on the negative side all of the crazy stuff coming out from you know the bureaucrats out there we covered the g20 stuff where they're trying to roll out a digital ID CBDC central bank digital control mechanisms and these two things together are in my opinion the driving forces for Bitcoin adoption it's like you we say it all the time and and the memes been catching on Nico I don't know if you've been seeing it on Twitter but Bitcoin is slavery it's starting to catch on and people are starting to notice that it's not even hyperbolic anymore but anyways starting with the first video I totally agree with that congressman or whatever like crypto is full of fraud like what a hundred percent agree hence why we're Bitcoin only like there's Bitcoin and there's shit coin and it triggered the thought in my mind about I think I brought it up last week it was the idea I forget what video it was but we played something on in the numbers about the the scene versus the unseen consequences of economics and it's very clearly visible the scene consequences of crypto scams and it very easily noticed and you know it's always rolled out as like the detriment to the whole Bitcoin industry and those are the scene consequences obviously there's been a lot of people getting rug pulled getting you know losing their their life savings because of shit coin scams and so it's very easily an emotional thing you can roll out so people are like ah let's protect the little guy but as we've going to cover and I really thought you were gonna play that Tucker Carlson video that you put on your Twitter I'm sick dude I mean so I was divided I was divided about what I wanted to make the show I was like I was like are we gonna make it about Tucker are we gonna make this about the sailor I think the sailor thing I was I was much more excited about the sailor thing it's a little little thing came out in my head I'm like holy cow the three things that Michael sailor said needed to happen for Bitcoin to hit five million all of those things have happened they've all happened right so I was like we have to cover this we will cover Tucker tomorrow's really actually made a thumbnail for everything it was awesome but I guess I guess you know we'll put we'll put a pin on that thought but tomorrow remember we're gonna be talking about the unseen consequences of money printing and that always gets obfuscated it always gets lost on people because it's not like a linear connection you know like you you gotta you know there's some nuance to this and most people can't think past like 20 seconds you know ADHD or whatever like we're all being inundated with so much dopamine from from social media that we either tune out or it just like it doesn't seem like it's important and and I can see people in the chat saying the same thing that we always hear is like once you start talking about Bitcoin once you say the B word people instantly tune out and it's only a matter of time until people wake up to what's going on here so you know plant those Bitcoin fundamentals into people's minds without using the B word usually helps and and goes a long way and then you find like hey you know have you heard about Bitcoin here's the pill take it but yeah man it just it just goes to show that the world is waking up and every metric that I'm seeing is pointing towards the fact that I think in 2025 more people are going to wake up to the scam that is Fiat and of course the safety boat that is Bitcoin and hey we're here for it so I'm I am super excited yes yes hold on hold on Arthur you can buy our merch with Bitcoin if you so want to yeah exactly go and go click scan the QR code it'll take you directly to the website and you could you could pay you pay in Bitcoin I think a lot I think wine set up the lightning yeah yeah yeah we got you got we got you guys back we got you guys rep some simply Bitcoin merch anyways so yeah man it's a really really exciting stuff alright guys let's jump into the news we got a lot to cover today before we get into news actually right now we are currently sitting pretty at 70 likes help us maintain our streak let's break a hundred likes within the out first hour of the live stream so if you're enjoying the show make sure to smash that like but it smashes mess mess wait wait wait can we do a legacy smash the like button Nico something like that anyways guys let's get to the news the daily news I want to give a shout out to our sponsor foundation devices it's self -custody done right they built a premium grade hardware wallet called passport right here in the u .s.

Because I said it was a great day. Mm hmm. There's many memes being created with these little aliens. That were unv - unboxed in Mexico. The little ET, the little stony ET guys. You know, I forget who said it, but there was somebody who said that the fact that not very many people are interested in this is because of the general mistrust that we have of governments and central agencies. And so most people are just like, yeah, it's fake. So they're just not even paying attention to it. And it's kind of interesting because that was that really that really resonated with me because I have become completely disillusioned with with our with our leadership, our political leadership. I really have. And and, you know, there's there's something to be said for that. I forget who said that, but there's something to be said for that. In journalism, right? It used to be, I think that people believed for the most part that they can they could trust journalists. And nowadays it's really the individuals that are telling the truth because almost everybody from the big networks, it's just like a nonstop stream of lies and propaganda. And people are just becoming inoculated to it. I think people are just like, yeah, whatever, bro.

A highlight from Ripple's Fortress Acquisition Shows the Brittleness of Crypto Infrastructure

"Welcome back to The Breakdown with me, NLW. It's a daily podcast on macro, Bitcoin, and the big picture power shifts remaking our world. What's going on, guys? It is Tuesday, September 12th, and today we are talking about all of this dust up with fortress and the Ripple acquisition and what it means and who you should be mad at. Before we get into that, however, if you are enjoying The Breakdown, please go subscribe to it, give it a rating, give it a review, or if you want to dive deeper into the conversation, come join us on the Breakers Discord. You can find a link in the show notes or go to bit .ly slash breakdown pod. All right, friends. Well, today we are talking about one of the biggest discussion points for the last week or so on Twitter, which has been the issues surrounding fortress trust. Let's begin our particular slice of the story on Friday when Ripple announced that they had acquired fortress trust. Now, the deal was pitched as an expansion of Ripple's regulated crypto offering as they built out a vertically integrated blockchain services product suite. And Monica Long, the president of Ripple, said in a statement, licenses are a powerful enabler to build and deliver best in class customer experiences for enterprises using Ripple's crypto infrastructure across our payments and liquidity solutions, which she was referring to as the fact that fortress trust holds a Nevada state trust license, which allows it to custody crypto and act as a financial intermediary with the traditional financial system. This would add then to Ripple's existing strategy of accumulating licenses. Between Ripple and its subsidiaries, the corporate group now holds 30 state money transmitter licenses, a New York state bit license and a major payment institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. So commentary over the weekend on this fell into two camps. On the one hand, this could have simply been Ripple buying a company to add a custody service to its one stop shop approach to crypto. On the other hand, many viewed this as a quiet bailout of fortress. And indeed, the Friday acquisition announcement was slightly strange in tone. Executives asserted that fortress could add a key piece to Ripple's vertically integrated crypto offering. However, the deal announcement was a little bit out of sync with previous announcements from Ripple. Specifically, the acquisition valuation was not mentioned, which was out of character for Ripple who had brashly announced a 250 million dollar deal to acquire crypto custodian Medeco in May. And of course, we have to put it in the context into which it happened. Fortress itself was already viewed with skepticism. The licensed crypto custodian had been founded by former prime trust CEO Scott Purcell in December of 2021. Purcell had left prime trust in January of that year. That was around the same time that prime trust mishandled wallet storing customer funds, leading to an 83 million dollar shortfall. Several key executives left prime trust to follow Purcell into his new venture. The firm was also aggressive in hiring former banking regulators to their team. The rift between companies was so acrimonious that there were even allegations of IP theft in taking software systems built at prime trust across to fortress. In June of this year, the shortfall in customer funds at prime trust came to light. Around this, the company was first placed into receivership by the Nevada regulator and later declared bankruptcy. Now prior to prime trust acknowledging their insolvency, numerous high profile customers fled for other custodians. It was already widely suspected that prime trust was insolvent at the time. The most impactful departure from prime trust was swan bitcoin. In June, swan announced that they would be transferring all customer funds held in custody to fortress. The transfer took over a week and involved a shutdown of automated transactions with swan. To many, it felt like an emergency operation more than a normal business decision, although throughout the process, swan executives assured customers that funds were safe. So this is where we were over the weekend. Lots of speculation, lots of questions around fortress, lots of questions around ripple. And on Monday, new information came to light around the circumstances surrounding the fortress acquisition. The day before the acquisition, my birthday, September 7th, fortress had posted a disclosure about a security incident which they tried to make seem relatively innocuous. On that day, they tweeted, Thankfully, there is no breach within fortress technology or systems, impacted accounts were fully restored. And most importantly, of course, there is no loss of funds. We immediately terminated the vendor integration and out of an abundance of caution paused all accounts to assess and ensure system wide security. We are taking all necessary measures to make sure the vendor is held accountable. Although this has been resolved, transparency and security are of the utmost important to us and our customers. We also have some big company news we are excited to share later this week. Now, Ryan Weeks, a reporter at the block received a tip that the incident had been far more impactful than it was made out to be. Indeed, he was told that 450 Bitcoin worth around 11 .3 million had been stolen from fortress trust, although that specific amount has been unable to be verified. What has been verified is that the ripple deal was much more of a bailout of fortress than it initially seemed. A ripple spokesperson said, Conversations accelerated last week following the security incident via a third party analytics vendor, but this opportunity makes sense for Ripple in the long term. Luckily, Ripple was in a position to act quickly to step in and make customers whole, and there have been no breaches to fortress technology or systems. Fortress notified customers immediately of the incident when it happened, as they mentioned in their tweets. Now, for those of you eagle eyed observers out there, or I guess eagle eared as the case may be, owl eared, whatever, you'll notice that fortress's Thursday statement said, This technically is consistent with Ripple swooping in to make customers whole, but also somewhat misleading if in fact Ripple had had to bail fortress out to make those customers whole, but also somewhat misleading if ripple indeed had to come in to make sure that those customers didn't actually lose their funds. Now what was also made clear on Monday is that the ripple deal is still pending regulatory and due diligence approvals. Given that we already saw the Bitco acquisition of prime trust fall apart during the due diligence process earlier this year, there is certainly no guarantee that it actually goes through. Now, of course, as you've already heard, there are numerous other companies tangled up in this mess. Swan Bitcoin is, of course, one of fortress's most well known customers. They have been in an absolute narrative battle and have claimed throughout that they were completely unaffected by the issue and the client funds remain safe. The other companies impacted are the custodian services subcontracted by fortress. Their role in the industry is mainly as the holder of a relevant trust license rather than as a tech provider. We know, for example, that hot wallet services are provided by fire blocks, while cold storage is provided by Bitco. And indeed, with the behind the scenes detail now made public, Bitco CEO Mike Belshi wrote a Twitter thread outlining his disappointment with how the entire debacle was handled. On Monday, Mike wrote, they are still at risk and whether Bitco was somehow involved. Spoiler alert, we were not. When fortress lost funds, they chose to omit facts about what happened, downplay the event and conclude, quote, most importantly, no funds were lost. Obviously, we now know this was not true. I guess what they meant to say is we believe we fixed the problem and we have taken steps to make sure clients are made whole. But those two statements are not even close to being the same. Ripple has done the right thing and disclosed that a breach did occur. But fortress still has not made a real statement about what actually happened. So, summarizing what is publicly known, along with what we know from Bitco, one, fortress suffered a breach through some third party integration, not Bitco, two, via fortress's platform and some third party integration, the attacker was able to drain funds from fortress's hot wallet system, three, fortress used fire blocks for its hot wallet system, four, fortress noticed the failure and says they have fixed the problem with the third party, five, although fortress did use Bitco to custody some of its Bitcoin and digital assets, Bitco was not affected. None of the fortress assets held at Bitco were at risk from this third party integration or taken. After the breach, fortress reached out to Bitco. Bitco strongly advised fortress to disclose what happened immediately. Fortress did not do that. Eventually fortress decided to sell to Ripple. This is a great outcome because Ripple was able to make all clients whole and will hopefully help fortress with resources to correct the security weaknesses which led to this event. Ripple is a good actor here and should be applauded. The real victims here are fortress's clients who deserve enough respect to get the whole truth. They are not to be blamed. The whole situation is exactly why we need decentralization. We can't continue to be dependent on the honesty of custodians, bankers or trusted third parties acting with integrity when bad things happen. Bad things will happen and most humans don't have enough courage to be honest through it. So there are a lot of things that people are upset about here. One of the biggest strands of conversation has been around Swan. On September 11th, the company tweeted, Swan client coins are in insured cold wallets at Bitco and did not move during the reported incident at fortress. The coins are protected by video calls and physical access and are not subject to any incidents at fortress. Swan set up this agreement with fortress to use Bitco as a cold storage sub -custodian precisely to prevent such a scenario. Swan has direct on -chain visibility to funds at Bitco. When someone asked what kind of insurance Swan was referring to, Corey Clifton the CEO said, It's $250 million per wallet, with no wallet holding more than $250 million, provided by Lloyd's of London. It's the best setup we've seen. As always, take self -custody if you're willing and able. Now, responding to the critique in general of Swan being associated with these companies, which now have a less -than -stellar record handling customer assets and are now owned by a company that is anathema to many Bitcoiners, Corey wrote, Separation of brokerage and custody is the model for traditional assets for good reason, and there's a good probability it becomes law for digital assets in the U .S. I am not a fan of the trust -me -bro model of brokerage and custody under the same roof, like Mt. Gox and FTX. The goal is to have no single company able to unilaterally move user funds. We very intentionally set up Fortress and BitGo with that model. Now, I understand the narrative frustration here, but at the end of the day, the reason that Swan had to work with these companies is that there just wasn't anyone else. This is why as much as some Bitcoiners are worried about the entrance of traditional financial actors into the space, many others view it as necessary to just have more market options for crypto -native brokerage companies like Swan to actually work with. Anyways, the whole thing is a mess, reflective of how bad the infrastructure is for crypto and Bitcoin right now in the U .S., and a reminder of just how challenging digital assets are, even for companies that have big history in the space. The one other big story from yesterday that I want to cover was the FTX creditor update. The FTX bankruptcy team reports that they have marshaled around $7 billion in assets. Using updated valuations from the end of August, the estate holds $3 .4 billion in major crypto tokens. This includes $560 million in Bitcoin, $192 million in ETH, and $1 .1 billion in Solana. Now, of that, it appears that only $137 million worth of Solana is listed as vesting, meaning a much larger portion of the tokens may be eligible for sale than previously thought. The non -crypto assets include 38 properties in the Bahamas worth around $200 million, as well as $529 million worth of securities primarily made up of grayscale Bitcoin trust shares, $2 .6 billion in cash, and $4 .5 billion in venture investments, although no current valuation of those investments was provided. The firm's liabilities show $65 billion in non -customer claims. That figure is massively inflated by a $43 .5 billion claim from the IRS, which is presumed to be subordinated to customer claims. The IRS generally submits the largest possible tax claim during bankruptcy proceedings, but often negotiates down significantly or differs entirely to a creditor distribution. Of the remaining liabilities, a $9 .2 billion claim from FTX Digital Markets is assumed to be invalid or redundant, which leaves $4 .1 billion claim by Genesis and $2 billion claim by Celsius as the major non -customer claims to deal with. So far, a little over 36 ,000 customers have filed claims totaling $16 billion. Of the claims that have been scheduled so far, around 10 % of customers have agreed to their scheduled claims, while 18 % have disputed their claims and 72 % have yet to respond with either an agreement or a dispute. Now, easily the most discussed part of the news dealt with the firm's clawback strategy. Transactions done within a 90 -day window of the bankruptcy filing can be eligible for a clawback, but in practice, not all claims are pursued. The estate has successfully pursued $588 million in claims so far, and they identify an additional $16 .6 billion in clawbacks that could be pursued. The estate is currently considering how to deal with customer clawbacks where users withdrew from the exchange close to the bankruptcy being filed. Several options being looked at included the full 90 -day window for clawbacks as well as a shorter 15 -day window which captures the major public news surrounding the FTX collapse. Travis Kling tweeted about this saying, This brings up a big question of executability. How feasible is it for the estate to go sue people in every corner of earth? This is a really surprising turn in this deal. Everyone was thinking this outcome was quite unlikely the entire time. If the estate ends up doing what it looks like they want to, it will change the nature of this bankruptcy process. We'll learn more at the 9 -13 hearing. Indeed, the estate is due in court tomorrow Wednesday for an omnibus hearing which will cover numerous aspects of the case including the potential liquidation of crypto holdings as well. You might remember that three weeks ago FTX asked for permission to appoint Galaxy Digital as a selling agent. Selling would initially have a limit of $100 million per week which could increase to $200 million if creditors agree. The market has obviously begun to price in significant fear of this FTX liquidation. Sunday for example saw a liquidity breakdown in Solana as rumors of imminent dumping spread. And yet many think that the market is overreacting. Jeff Dorman, the CIO at ARCA said, The way crypto market makers and traders are front -running the FTX supply shows a complete misunderstanding of how a syndicated sale process works. This isn't an every -man -for -himself VC unlock. This is a court -ordered process that Galaxy will sell very slowly and opportunistically. Lastly, the potential reboot of the exchange remains a possibility. According to the report, 75 bidders have been contacted. The report stated that Proposals are being evaluated. Transaction timing will depend on nature of transactions, readiness of bidder, and other considerations. So, friends, if there are currently two archetypes of breakdown episodes, with one being legal battles that are increasingly poking towards a positive direction for this industry, and the other being cleanup from the excesses of years past, this unfortunately was one of the latter. But, as they say, the only way out is through, and so until next time, be safe and take care of each other. Peace.

Dan Bongino: Seeing College Kids Obsessed With Che Guevara T-Shirts

"And tyrants don't care. You know, I think of all these stories when I was in high school and college, well, high school, we had to wear ties and stuff, so you didn't see too much of it. But when I was in college, my first year at Stony Brook, I saw a lot of these kids with Che Guevara t -shirts on. And you know, my first year of college, honestly, folks, all I was thinking about was baseball. That's all I cared about. Like baseball. That's all I wanted to talk about was baseball. I was a biology major. I was trying to pre go -med, but I just wanted to watch baseball, so I loved baseball. I was obsessed with it. I'd seen these kids with these Che Guevara shirts. I had to look up who he was. You're in college? Yeah, listen, I'm not going to lie to you. I had idea no who he was. So I went and looked it up. I didn't really get into politics and history until like my second year or so of college. When I really started to see the world for what it was, I started listening to Rush. That's why he was so important to me. He transformed my whole life. would I have been something completely different. So I looked this up, this Che Guevara story, and I'm sitting there and this guy's looking over my shoulder one day and he's telling me how great this guy is. Revolutionary, bro. Yo, bro. Revolutionary, man. started I reading the story. They sound like a resolutionary to me, man. I mean, you know, they have little nicknames for things was like in Spanish, la pared, you know, the wall Spanish for the wall. What was the wall about? What was where they used to put people up to shoot I mean, that don't sound too, like, you know, cool bro kind of stuff to me like that. That's where the don't get that comes from like, you know, don't get that don't be a communist. People are dumb on the left. They just they are they're just stupid like they don't understand. They don't the people like Lujan Grisham, they don't get any of that. A highlight from 1% Club of Bitcoin Holders Revealed | EP 822

"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin. It's going up forever, bro. Bitcoin! You're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo! Welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution of color -breaking news, culture, and medical warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and stay. Today, we're going to cover an interesting topic. I think I saw someone else making content in relation to this topic, and I thought it would be interesting. I thought it would be interesting to cover it, but what we're going to do differently is we're going to cover all the sources, and the million dollar question, or the million sat question, better said, is how much Bitcoin does it take to be in the top one percent of Bitcoin holders? That's the question, right? And there's so many different answers to that, right? Because it's like, of Bitcoin holders around the world, of just overall Bitcoin holders. So we're going to lay out, you know, all the cases, all the cases that everyone makes. So it's going to be a really good show. I'm excited. And yeah, it's going to be fun. And of course, I have my legendary co -host with me. He's always optimistic. Giant smile on his face, like always. How are you doing, Opie? I'm good, bro. The intro, the intro cracks me up every single day. Anyways, I'm doing well. I'm doing well, great and well. I'm doing well. Yeah, what's up, everyone in the chat? I'm doing well, too, bro. I'm doing well. Dude, it's already early. I'm already getting roasted in the chat. So, hey, it's going to be a good day. But yeah, I'm interested on touching this topic. I know all of you guys out there want a little feel good, hope you get some dopamine rushes and feel good about your stacks. And then for the people that are new stackers, these are the goals that you're going to have to, well, not have to, that you'd want to hit. I mean, in my era, it was 6 .15, but I think we're in a new era now, Nico. I think this is a new part of the cycle. But anyways, let's get into the show. Guys, it's just a button up, but thank you. Thank you. We have, Opti's getting professional. Opti's getting professional. I wear this on the regular. Anyway, let's bring in our guests. Let's bring in our guests. I'm wearing a complete Bitcoin merch. But someone asked, Tyler Durden asked, how about the 0 .1 %? We have the answer to that as well. We have you covered. We have you covered. Anyways, I want to bring up our very special guest, Anil. He makes amazing content on Twitter, some of the best. How you doing, bro? Welcome to the show. Doing great, gents. Thank you for having me. Appreciate you joining us, man. Opti, what are we going to cover during the - Well, I'm going to not only tee up Anil on some of his Bitcoin education work, but we will talk about, I saw you just released a book, some of your other stuff, all the other content that you're doing. And I think on today's show, I want to kind of dive in on why Bitcoin with you, Anil, because I know that's one of the big things that you talk about and how everything converges to money, how scarcity, scarce money, leads to abundance of everything. I think today is going to be a good lesson for people and we're going to get them stupidly bullish. I know I said bullish too much today, but I think today, especially considering what Nico is going to cover, I think it'll be a good, like well -rounded episode where we can explain their goals, their stacking goals, and then why we hold Bitcoin. So I think it's going to be a great show. All right, before we jump into it, is it still 6 .15? Is that still the goal? It always will be, always will be, bro. Anil, what do you think? Oh man, I got to, sorry guys, I got to reject the frame. You know, it's a different number for everyone. Okay, okay, okay. Could you elaborate? What does that mean? What does that mean? It means that if you tie, in the same, it's the same problem with fiat wealth, right? You're tying your happiness to some particular number that when you get there, everything will be great. And that's just, we know that's not true. Okay, wisdom. I think you'll be happier just adopting Bitcoin as a unit of account, because you will always see that increasing in what you can buy. Gotcha. I love that. So it's not a number goal. It's a, it's just adopting Bitcoin. And then that changes your perspective on the world. I absolutely love that. That makes me want to change the topic of today's video, but we do not have time to do that. So we're going to jump straight into it. All right, guys, let's jump straight into numbers. Let's do it. Here we go.

Trinity looks like shit. She always looked kinda rough back in the fucking first matrix movies. She looks like fucking ass, dude. That actress was something moss I think. Yeah, my Rolling Stone, bro, she looks like. No, moss doesn't grow our own stuff. I thought it's moss gross fat on her Rolling Stone. Rolling Stone. But the song though, I know, but it's a metaphor for the band, the Rolling Stone. And moss grows fat on a Rolling Stone. First of all, do you know where that Rolling Stone comes from? Comes from a Bob Dylan song. All right, bro, I'm just telling you. I'm just telling you how the fucking lyrics are in that song, bro, I know moss doesn't grow on a Rolling Stone because it's rolling and can't grow moss. That's how the fucking song goes. Let's do a little fact check here. All right, you fact check, what's the last part?.

How about because we placed a value on it direct right just like anything else because we invested the money in an inflated it to have a value now the one thing about bitcoin propped up. Well the one thing about bitcoin. I find interesting is there's only so much bickering right. One day they will mind the last bickering. It'll be in. It'll just be out there then right but they'll make more now. the way. the bitcoin works is there is a finite amount of it. It's it'll stay that way. What if it splits like a regular star. It's not stock its currency you could still split it. But it's not a stock you thinking stocks. This is currency. This is how you pay for but you can say you buy stuff but you can still print more in splitting you can. I know it's not splitting. They could still in the sense. Triple the amount of bitcoin..
