"Brook Lopez era when they first got to Brooklyn. But yeah, I saw brook Lopez a fair amount over the years here. Two things. One, he had foot injuries and foot surgeries that at his size at one point in time were considered like a career death knell. And there was a thought that, like, there was a point in time there where the question was, how much did the nets be paying him? How much should they keep extending him? Because he's going to be on tradable because the foot and other teams, there's no way you can move that contract if you ever need to and what would his market value even be? He was also going to be before. I think it was before the foot injury, the linchpin two, the Dwight Howard deal that they were supposedly going to make before Dwight Howard decided to lose the opt out or the opt in in Orlando that screwed up the whole thing, but they were going to get Dwight Howard and Dwight's prime. That was the plan and brook Lopez was part of a lynchpin to that deal. But the two things that you would think would have cast doubt on the idea that all these years later, he'd be this important and this good. The foot and the fact that he was this plotting kind of old school center, brook Lopez didn't start becoming a three point shooter till very late in his career. And was a guy who didn't have the mobility to defend away from the basket. And he's become a really good defender. I mean, he's still not a guy, obviously he's going to chase guys around screens for anything. But he's great and obviously in their drop coverages and he's a little bit more mobile than giving credit and he shoots the three really well. So he's an evolved and adapted his game to survive and thrive in the modern patient space NBA. You would not have thought that back when he was in his prime with the nets. Credit to him for evolving his game, he didn't make a three. Until his 7th NBA season. It didn't make it three. And even then, he shot 10% from three in that year.

"Chris Middleton and brook Lopez, both under contract, both extension eligible. I would imagine that if Middleton is willing to take an extension, they probably do it. I guess it's possible they could look into like a one year extension for brook Lopez, but to me, this is all about accentuating your core if you're the box and just hoping that you're healthy next year for the playoffs. Yeah, I'm with you. I don't think there's much to talk about with them. I think they bring back obviously the primary core. I don't think there's a lot of wiggle room to do much. They're my pick if everybody's healthy to win it all next year. And I mean, for them, they got the 24th pick. I would go straight upside with that. If I were them, I wouldn't, I guess this is where it gets tricky. If you could flip that into a ready now player to add to your rotation. It makes sense, but I also think if I were Milwaukee, I would just take a high swing on a guy just in case, like kind of like a warrior situation. Obviously they're not getting as high a pics, but you may be hope that this guy is better quicker than you think, or you have just some type of like light down the road. So what I would do if I was them, I think that the magic would like to move into the first round using 32 and 35. If I'm the box, I would rather have 32 and 35 than 24, I would move 24 for 32 and 35, get two swings that guys that frankly for me are in the same tier. For Orlando, they have so many young guys consolidating 32 and 35 into one young guy that they really like or maybe like a little bit more. Plus getting the extra year of team control is a little bit more valuable for them than 32 and 35 are for the bucks having two swings at potential minimum level players, rookie minimum level players where that saves them quite a bit of tax money, plus you get two swings on potential rotation players down the road. I think that's actually a really valuable thing for Milwaukee and that's what I would do if I was them on draft night..

But he's also that guy who's like this super crazy or is he just super friendly because it wasn't there last night i think it was with john collins. I think they had a little bit of a butts. Let with each other out sort of contested. Play so you're always like. I think these guys not crazy. I think he just looked crazy because he's a mirror attached to the hospital so he's well. What was the biggest reason for the bucks win last night at a to be honest with you because they weren't having it last night it's one thing to have production but they play with an attitude in terms of you what we're tired of just sitting back and letting the atlanta hawks dictate with the atlanta hawks had done to great effect before trae young when he was there then. After trae young guide injured we saw happening game for how the able to just step on the bucks throat early and not even backup before janas got into the nap. The honest got injured. The atlanta hawks found out that could happen to them. And milwaukee bucks did it. And i firmly believe it starting with holiday got that first two points in the pain and then brook lopez said. Hey that's good view then is good for me than everybody else. They will do the same thing. They force nate. Mcmillan the challenges basketball team to say. What's up with you guys. are you guys. He could not believe that. A buck seen that is known for being up for nest team was being the tougher. Basketball team was being the more physical basketball team. Is, you know that game plan Seems to look like The one that will work for them. And he wasn't alone. Middleton had 26 Um 25 from drew Holiday 22 from Bobby Portis. They scored the four of them. Brook Lopez Middleton. Holiday and port is the four of them scored. All but 17 of Milwaukee's points for the game. And other than Bogdanovich. Not enough support the other way. And I just wonder whether they learned something last night Milwaukee did about how to go about Beating this very scrappy, very difficult. Atlanta team. And you know 33 7. I think the Brooklyn Nets are the most overrated team in the East.
