Reflections on the Year Since the Murder of George Floyd

"Attorney general ellison welcome to washington post. Live great to be with you jonathan. Thank you before we talk about the derek chauvin trial and the killing of george. Floyd have to talk about some breaking news that hit just about an hour ago. Your office released a statement acknowledging that you are taking on the prosecution of kim potter. She's the former book brooklyn center. Minnesota police officer Who shot and killed dante. Right on april eleventh. Why are you taking on that prosecution. Well we've been asked to take on the case and we're willing to do it because we're public servants and win. The public needs service. We step up to do the work we're called to do and so we're going to handle the case with seriousness with all due regard for the precious life of dante right And you know. And we're going to seek justice in an affair trial and let me just note for everybody can potteries presumed innocent given that you were the prosecutor in the derek chauvin trial. Is that a template for how you will proceed against can potter because every single case is unique cases are unique as fingerprints. All of them are different in many different ways. So we will. We're our approach will be tailored to the case itself and i don't want anyone to expect that because we did one thing in one case we're going to do the same thing in another case what people can expect as we will bring the same level of urgency and commitment and fairness and professionalism after that anything could be different

Minnesota Mayor Wants Unarmed Civilians, Not Police, to Enforce Traffic Laws

"Police reform in a very different way. He wants unarmed civilians and not the police to enforce traffic laws. Proposed change comes a month after a white police officer killed a black man named Dante right during a traffic stop Matt Sepik of Minnesota public radio reports on April 11th officer Kim Potter pulled over Dante Ride in Brooklyn Center, a diverse community of 30,000 bordering Minneapolis. Police say it was because of expired plates writes. Mother says it was a dangling air freshener. As Potter and another officer tried to arrest the 20 year old on an outstanding firearms warrant. He broke free and got back in his car. On body camera video. Potter is heard shouting Taser, but instead she grabs her nine millimeter gun. The gun shot is edited out of this clip. Potter, who was a police officer for 26 years, resigned and is charged with manslaughter. That killing led to a week of demonstrations, including violent clashes with law enforcement. Security fencing still surrounds Brooklyn Center police headquarters. Today. Things are quiet as a crew of workers, repairs of looted dollar store across the street. Neighboring scoreboard Pizza, which was untouched, owner Jim Johnson says right should still be alive. They should've let that young man just go mean expired Tabs and is that worth pulling over someone when you already know that there were weapons violation? Johnson, lifelong Brooklyn Center resident says police could have made the arrest later. He's skeptical of Mayor Mike Elliot's proposal. The mayor wants a quote unarmed civilian traffic enforcement department to handle all minor, non moving violations, such as expired plates and broken tail lights. Elliot is pushing Council members to approve his plan soon. We need to do it as if There was an emergency and people were at the PD protesting again. We need to have that level of urgency. Brooklyn center is not the first community to consider

"Happened at that moment. Is that the guy gets out of the cars? Oh, And throws a glass bottle jar over his head that has some kind of chemical in it. The officers then engage in a pursuit where mounds of cocktails Are thrown at the police. Now. The question for the mayor of Brooklyn Center is Is this a traffic stop in which a firearm would be acceptable. The police officer never knows what's going to happen. Yes, it is rare that somebody had to stop gets physical. We're not talking about the majority of cases we're talking about this. Shit. The cops shouldn't have Ah, firearm for a traffic stop is an ignorance, nonsensical garbage point of view from an ignorant, nonsensical garbage person. In this case, the mayor of Brooklyn Center Oh, and a lot of people who are completely and totally anti Second Amendment and also hate cops. Can't argue that I'm actually the biggest fan of police and the way policing is done. I think that's more of ah of the better way to say it. Have long talked about the militarization of the mind. I've long talked about the militarization of police. I have zero issue with discussing how we can make these things better zero issue with it. With the idea that I was set a cop up for failure or physical harm or worse. By saying in a traffic stop. You don't bring your gun with you. I mean, let's be sure we understand what's happening. We want to put beyond onerous regulations on the police, and we want to excuse all the actions of potential suspects or suspects, so when they resist arrest, it's the fault of the cup. They throw something at the police. The police shouldn't follow them. You know it. It happened. No. Well, maybe they should have been pulled over to begin with. You create a situation where it's always a fault in the top, Always a phone to the top, always the fault of the top. And you'll get people to completely and totally disrespect police and the very idea of what it is. They do. Cops just stay in the car, drive around and get paid. No, that's not what they should do. That's everything they shouldn't do. As for Maxine Waters. I'll get to that story. You won't believe it. And you will want to hear from those on the political left who demand that those who in who instigate violence be thrown out of the U. S. House of representatives. Maxine Waters before Marjorie Taylor Greene and I'll explain why coming up I'm Tony Cat's eye spends a lot of time talking about my pillow. And now Mike Lyndall. He's done it again. The and of so many languages in fifty fifty some countries with in the continent. You know that breaks it up. You know if if africa was just one place you know what. You've but in the meantime we have to deal with what's happening at home for us. Yeah and you know what guys. I mean we. We're just exhausted from it. Yes we are. I mean you know look. I'm still a fighting age. Sixty four but man. Oh man oh man. This has been monteilh life. I've been faced with these major disappointment. And the first huge first disappointment i saw was my mother crying when i came home from school and she was ironing and they had keel president kennedy. And i don't understand why my mother was crying because president kennedy had guy kill. I heard her my father talking about. He was trying to help black people. I went okay so then few years later the biggest event of my life martin luther king got killed. Our teacher made us watch the funeral on. Tv she bought a black and white. Tv plugged up and we watched the funeral on tv. She made us watching. That was a life changing event for me and after that it's been one after the other after it's never been a year it's never been a six month span before social media came along. It would just stuff. I was seeing in my neighborhood hearing about from family unions at what was happening in in. Dc in detroit and in west virginia or what racism on. And then i was just living sixty seventies just seen it eighties nineties. I've been just watching it. Two thousand social media came along and then we figured it might change because now america could take a look at themselves and what's happening but until the pandemic hit and everybody was sitting at home watching this man's knee on this black man's neck for eight minutes and forty six seconds twenty nine now then we realized wow and the the black lives matter. Movement caught some steam because it was a lot of non blacks involved in. And that's what it really takes to solve this problem because it's not going to be just black people. We been sick of it from the first boat ride. We were done with this. We've been sick of this ever stop. Stop asking us in expecting us to be patient with done what he wants to wait for. You want to wait for who else got to get killed. How many more of us got to die on top of the hundreds of thousands that have gone on. We oughta patients with this mess. We're done. I can't imagine how many thousands of incidents we haven't seen nor know about grub way more to social media show right. This used to happen repeatedly all the time. They had gilani groups that was doing stuff. Man clan was just going rocketing burning people's houses out lynch and taunt and feathered castrate and black men. Clamping into an thing man. What now you catch the klan member in a blue uniform and you catch him on tape and he still get away with it. Like geologist told me the dude that killed that shot. The man paralyze he packing wisconsin's he's back at work yet. What's going force. You go down there and shoot a white person in the back seat. What day you make back to work so y'all with done with done so let somebody else walk. We're done to stop. Don't call me and ask do not ask me to raise my voice. Rubber bullets a other devices other products coming from the police as well and and it goes on and on if you take a close look i think we can zoom over there. You can see again that sense over there. Which is the entrance to the police headquarters which again has been the focus of the protesters and the police and national guard. "From mr potato head himself. The estrogen filled. Brian stelter on the latest comments from cnn. Technical director charlie chester. I for one am shocked shocked. I tell you. If i had pearls i would clutch them. Oh my gosh. We're hearing that. They were trying to get trump out of office all along. Who could have told you that. We thought this was beyond their honor code. They're just here report. An apple is an apple. This is a banana. This is an apple that they were all about the facts. I sometimes like project veritas. And sometimes i don't like them. I think they. Yeah i'm going to have maybe a weird take on this but i I really hate mail to ya. Dot com. I think they've done a lot of good stuff they exposed for exposing yourself for a long time. Even the most recent stuff has been really really good the stuff that where they've been gone gone after cnn. I've only like one or two things. One of them was was actual audio from zucker. That's what we made in the conference call. That was good now. There was another one with with selected. They seem like a little kids that work there. They were very young. They got outed. I'm sure they lost their job if not. They're ostracized and made sweep floors for the rest of the time. They could have been some of the only good people that would that would work there. This guy right here is in that same ballpark. He was just outed so he's probably gonna lose his job right If not again he's gonna be put way down so he's not around anything he's the he's a technical director so basically he's saying take one take two in the control room now. He's an executive producer if he was an executive producer. Expose them have them say that because as you said a decision. This isn't so we need to hear from the executive producers. That's how so all of us and everyone listening and watching right now. This is obviously not surprising stuff. We already know they're the people who are who are in charge of that to go down because the because the people that we need to see this or the ones that have been you know indoctrinated. They believe the propaganda. They think they're unbiased. You know news agency. We ended up convince them so that they can wake up and so there can be more outraged organizations like cnn to pretend to be walking down the middle that's needed to identify but now this guy he's a good dude right now he's going to be out of the out of the company so is he just like telling someone but wasn't in total agreement with what to me when i watched it. It sounded like he wasn't agree with whether because he was he was blatantly calling them out. I mean it sounded like he was yes and yeah this is i don't know that. But that's what it sounds like. Someone is why we need someone he thinks that he trusts. And to your point you're saying because the fbi is corrupt at the top doesn't mean every agent down below is corrupt. And so let's let's let's use fair practice. And where's the human element you don't want. Collateral damage is a guy who now going to lose his job and his kids. And you could say well because you work for cnn you just sorry. You're in that basket and you knowing that she should have come out later. It's tricky because he is talking to somebody doesn't always being filmed. He thinks he's talking to a probably a friend or someone he can trust. Or i don't know but he definitely didn't know he was being filmed. I hear what you're saying. I hear what you're saying. How do you not know. This is absolutely what he believes in dealing with somebody to get it off his conscience right. Did you just say how you know what. I got off my conscience. It's tricky. I mean even even if that's the case you're not moving the needle here because i said this indication for all of us who said that it was going on the minds and hearts. No but if it's what i'm saying if if he is normal person what you just did is you shift. You probably shifted that network even further down the bad line. You know what. I'm saying because we're gonna get somebody more ideological because when you go and apply for most companies. You do have to take an ideological tests if you wanna go to work fox news. They're going to. Have you write like an essay or something like that on your political beliefs. See msnbc and all new question. Now what you're doing is you're going to get more ideological grounded. People on the left position will now be filled with an absolute radic absolutely an absolute radical. It's almost like they're saying well. Thank you james. Tanka jams showing us who potentially could be internally that we replaced that person with another radical. That's why i liked normal way of doing undercover work which we work. For instance is the source does not get name. You don't outsource wouldn't it be more powerful to have that guy stay insights in it and say keep bringing information does. That's where i don't like what they do at times. He was exposed the audio. If expose the audio but the video if if he was a good guy and that's what i would say. Are you willing to stay in undercover and keep in work your way in and get us more juicy stuff. I look at this as a basis. It's a short win so homerun you're not gonna so let me let me ask you this. Then jason. is there any sort of video clip. Admittance whatever that could surface that you think would change people's minds. Yes content someone in charge of the content like the content creators like an executive or even a producer would work. You watch cnn everyday. If they heard an executive producer say yeah obviously get. Obviously we wanted to get trump out of office. You think that they would stop watching cnn. Because i don't think they're already so far down the rabbit hole in the cold that they it doesn't matter what anyone says the same with their watching. I'll agree on some level. But i think there's a very large percentage of the country is in the middle and really doesn't know what to believe because they're torn both directions both sides are saying no. They're wrong no no. They're wrong but there in the middle there like you know the reagan democrats you know. And they're saying. I don't know but that would be james's position keith. Edmonds veterans about test positions. It doesn't matter who it is c. suite producer lower level if we could just tell those in the middle that hey. This is an internal cnn guy. Hopefully we can move. That's where i think. They see how they move the needle. Right i dislike for the guy staying. Bring more. Let's bring bring the whole treasure trove if i if i sound kind of off like he didn't think that my response was going to be like that because i'm very very frustrated with the right right now. We're not fighting like we should be me finding smarter. I used to not be for boycott. Small about boycotts right now. The ben and jerry's thing boycott the crap out of them. I mean the left. The reason that they have screwed over and basically taken over culture by force is by doing this stuff right back to one thousand percent but but by the way. It's not like. I don't even know that you have to call it a boycott like i'm just voting with dollars you're right i'm choosing who i want semantics momentum boycott but it's a personal choice to boycott these right. I'm just saying like hey. I'm choosing not to shop here. Because a lot of people are calling it cancelling two. Oh you're just canceling people. I thought you conservatives were against. I'm like i'm not cancelling anybody because i'm choosing not to shop there. You idiot all right.

"Or not whether they should have weapons to the mayor's point number all i could hear in the mayor's talking he wants pulled balart the mall cop to become a police. You know that has nothing in has a stick in the whistle you know. How do you know you're not stopping. Ms thirteen member right or in a car with a trunk full of cash and guns. And it's insanity what's in saint speech it is. It is jason so you just because you're more familiar with this type of thing. Aren't you always kind of in a vulnerable position when you're a police officer and you're getting out of your car walking up from behind another car over to i mean like how could you ever have the upper hand in that situation to make sure that you could see what you're walking into. It feels like you can't absolutely that's why it's deemed the most dangerous time for a police officer. Traffic stops are extremely dangerous and as you pointed out many of them do get shot or things. Do think bad things happen. Don't know what you're walking. Policing is an insanely insanely dangerous. So that's why we should just not have it and it's also when you get up on officer officers. They started huge flashlight on. Because there is a blinding effect that at some sort of covered. But there's no coverage. This is a sitting duck walking right with someone that car sitting. I can have all kinds of premeditated nonsense at the went. Get up to. We've seen office being run over putting the car in reverse and run him over or the officer. I mean who knows l. Get shot this morning. So it's that kind of that kind of insane talk gets people hurt. You know the this this this whole this whole dante right. That's an yes this this. This whole story really pisses me off because again. I just want to make that point again. This should not be a national news story. It really shouldn't. It should be a local news story but the media is by piling on to like the local activism or the national activism like with 'em and all that they are stoking this fire. It is crazy. Dangerous out there for cops right now in any capacity. my My wife just went to los angeles are step daughter and her husband is a cop and he had like a you know it was like blue flag hats and my wife was going to put it on when they we're going out shopping and he was like probably shouldn't do that around here. There's been some incidents when when they find out police officers and public. I'm like oh. I'm wearing the hat then. Well i'm going to support you. How bad it is inside. And the media knows what they're doing playing into that boy design. Yeah it absolutely is all right. We've got more to come. I who went to think our sponsor home title theft. So if you have not yet heard what home title theft is consider yourself lucky because that means it has not happened to you so home title. Theft occurs when cyber thieves. Remove you from your home's title because everything is found online now including your home's titles so they go and they forged your signature on a quick claim.

"You kill somebody so which one is worse more excessive success but the intent log a- points to intent and must much of our law and really world law is written according to intent. What was the this is where you get first degree premeditated murder etc etc. So what was the intent. Wasn't her intention in. This is where they push. It's a white women so her intention must have been racially charged. It's a it's a presumption they're making. Its total bogus. And that's why. I think they throw the book these things and it. It's one sided if you look at most of these cases it's one sided. If you get a white kid shot today and happens to be a black police officer. It's going to be silence. You're not gonna hear anything in the media and they're not gonna question intent. They're not gonna question what what he was charged. Not at all. So it's an unbalanced judicial system. We have at the moment. yeah. I think so. Yeah i think it's two separate judicial systems. I really this this case right now should not. No one should even know about this. They really shouldn't. This is a case that should have been local news. I should have been a lot of local coverage you know within a within the within the city but there should have been national. This was a mistake is what this was. It was a mistake and she needs to be held accountable for it absolutely but it was a mistake. So let me ask you this then. Because i think we're all in agreement that it shouldn't have happened. They should the training that they undergo should root out the people who are going to be too jumpy too quick to draw to. Are you not in agreement about that. You can train as much as you can. You can hope that people react that way. But i've been on the front lines and firefights people that are the most trained in the country freeze up and literally pea themselves. They can't help it. And just for some context. We envisage not to victim shame but just the context surrounding the situation dante right Apparently he had an outstanding warrant linked to a prior arrest for attempted robbery. He allegedly choked woman and held her at gunpoint. So i have we have you seen. I have not seen it. Say whether or not i mean. Surely when you're going to pull someone over you pull it out you see. They have an outstanding warrant. Perhaps you see what it's four. Maybe that made her more jumpy because she saw that what he had done the details of the situation. If you think of the of the pursueth right and you look at the whole from the moment they lay eyes on him and the pursuit there was definitely my opinion. Enough time to run the plight. Fine yeah we don't know how ninety two plays and again it's still no. It's not in a life was lost. A non life should be lost but still this. Is she a twenty six year veteran. I think it's twenty six hundred veterans rookie rookie police officer twenty six years. This is twenty six years. I mean so i mean. How long do you have to be in the force to jason's point in the heat of that moment. This is where i say. The training comment this situational training. Not there how do you mimic the situation and training to apply that kind of pressure on human being with all the different trifecta circumstances to say now make the right decision is why you saying is giving the gun fight a freeze and they p themselves. Because how do you prepare. You think you're ready for that situation. It's just it's a bat cocktail. It's just a it's bad. It was it was negligence. It was a mistake. Unfortunately a life was lost. Couple points this is why you don't Fund the police. They need more funds to go through this extra training. They talking about the less money they get to prepare for these situations. The worse and worse. It's going to get so they need more money. More does not mean tons of weapons and militarized stuff. It just means pretty much for everything but a lot rates to go towards training home another point loss. Well that's okay because to that point I would just like to let. Let's go ahead and play this clip of brooklyn center mayor. Mike elliott who as you recall yesterday He did away with the city manager for making the controversial statement that the officer should have due process when it comes to this trial he said you know what you gotta go. You can't be giving officers due process in this day and time He says that cops don't really necessarily need to even be armed during traffic stops watch. I don't believe that officers needs. It necessarily have weapons in every time they. They're they're making a traffic stop or engaged in Situations that don't necessarily call for For weapons we know that there are other many other jurisdictions or even around the world where that is not necessarily. The case is not needed. So to your point jason you know. Let's not talk about defunding. The police even though retreated to leave says we need. We don't need police not policing made similar comments as kind of from the radical left now. We're getting this. Push to abolish policing abolish the police force and now we're being told they don't necessarily need to be armed during traffic stops. Gee i can't imagine the potential candidates we will get four police officers to join the force knowing that they cannot protect themselves. Not knowing at all what they're going to walk into when they stopped someone now. I have two more points point number one. If you if you don't normally wear a baseball cap you probably shouldn't wear a baseball cap. Mayors presidents stop. Were just through that on at the last minute wearing a suit and then like baseball cap that does not fit his head. that's fair and why it matters. Thank you jason for that inciteful matters taking nothing else from today but second ask any cop anywhere in any city anytown whatever how big or small it is. What's the most dangerous part of their job. It is when they get out of their vehicle trying to walk over from behind to that car the most dangerous time which to to to that particular point Berlin police officer here in the dallas area was shot multiple times during a traffic stop. they just found the guy And it was a man suspected in a fatal carjacking so the officer made the stop at four fifteen m. he approached the passenger side of the car and he got shot up so so exactly. How would officer know whether this is a potentially dangerous traffic stop or not whether they should have weapons to the mayor's point number all i could hear in the mayor's talking he wants pulled balart the mall cop to become a police. You know that has nothing in has a stick in the whistle you know. How do you know you're not stopping. Ms thirteen member right or in a car with a trunk full of cash and guns..

"Today the latest on the dante right case and the democrats established a fund so families of deceased co victims could receive up to nine thousand dollars. I could possibly go wrong there. We've got a lot coming up and it starts right now. Welcome to the news and why it matters. I'm sarah gonzalez today. Joined by my good friend. Yakubu host of the aqua billions. Show thank you. You can see me. Okay that's a dad joke that i heard there you go there. You go my arms making Also joined by jason chief researcher glenn beck program. Thank you for being here as well. We do have a gray army green cammo vibe going on. Yeah thank you for paying attention to my memo All right so let's get into the headlines of the day. I think you were here monday. When we discussed all of the details of the dante. Right case we're just breaking by the way i did. You know we did get into yesterday. I said At the time of the taping on monday the officers information was not released. So i know the last time you were here. I think there was. It was just kind of assumed. Police officers are gonna be men. Yes yeah and after that details were released it is woman so we are aware that it is a woman. Now that the details have been released But kim potter the woman. The police officer who was the one who fatally shot a twenty year old. Dante right has resigned from her job. She is to be charged over the killing so she was arrested today and is going to be or it has been charged with second degree manslaughter now this of course is after body. Camera footage surfaced second degree manslaughter. We're being willy nilly with some of these charges just like the chauvin one where it seems like. They're going even step beyond what they should be going. Yes oh so that lie so let me say what. Second-degree meant and so second degree manslaughter. In minnesota is applicable when a allege person caused someone's death by quote culpable negligence person creates an unreasonable risk and consciously takes chances of causing death or great bodily harm to another. Can i translate the so basically if you're driving your car and you actually clip somebody and hit them and killed them in your car. You're going to get charged for manslaughter. If you were driving one hundred and ten down the street doing it you'd get second degree manslaughter. Probably yeah i mean okay. So so then. Let's talk about this Because from the the footage that surfaced from the bodycam footage. It really indicates that she had no idea that that's what she had done until afterwards. Oh my god. I shot him So it's hard for me to believe how you could you could prove second degree manslaughter. Am i missing something or is that your thoughts as well. No i think you're exactly right. And that's like i think that's what they're having a hard time in the show in case right now As well it almost seems like i mean i. I know it's all it seems like what they're trying to do is really show that. Hey we're really putting a stop to this. We're really coming down on police brutality and all that stuff but they're going over the fact a or they're just setting up the fact that it's going to get overturned anyway and you're going to have a us exactly and it's always over negotiate because they understand she's going to have a legal team and they're gonna come down in and they're going to have to bargain down but it's a statement within that statement that i think we need to look at you know they definitely. I think that the second scenario referring to is probably more likely what it is especially the case with now. People like keith. Ellison withheld the footage. The full footage people you see the All the other context him fighting back and acting crazy. So why did you do that. You know why did you do that and push for second degree Or was it second degree murder. In that case. I believe right But in this case right here she absolutely should be fired or step down. she resigned. Which i'm in agreement with that She shouldn't be doing. that job. Shouldn't be if you make a mistake. Like if i made a mistake added some four letter. Words no scripts for them getting fired. There's no excuse for this She wasn't trained enough to be on that in that job and she absolutely be charged with i would have thought just regular manslaughter. It doesn't seem like yes. She wasn't going excessively right. You know numbers. There's evidence not interrupt your in previous case right. They wouldn't release footage because they knew it would make a second degree claim. you know. Have to be baseless here. There's evidence of her yelling. Tasers shoot some ghost. Didn't didn't know so. I think again at this point in time to your first point they're gonna throw the book at an anything because they're trying to. They're going to overcompensate because of the mob in what the mobs demanding placating to decrease easiness of of our country. At this point. I agree right now. The justice system seems like it split into two justice systems. Know coincidentally today. Ashley abbott's the officer. The shut actually babbitt for that. Now you would think they would at least look into that a little bit more If this was a glimmer antifa person than there would be out. They'd be going crazy right now. Now i don't know the specifics of that but i do. Not i've i've heard people compare you know the floyd and chauvin thing is being more excessive. And that's why he's you know why he was charged and he's going through the system in this one they're saying it wasn't as excessive and i'm like wait a minute. Well chauvin was not trying to kill. George floyd right. It was not. He was trying to manage a hostile person crowd because there were people filming him and he's just he's up there like he very clearly did not know he was killing the guy. You wouldn't do that in front of a bunch of people in broad daylight but but this person should actually but there's only one reason to shoot someone to kill them rain. i'm just i'm just. Death is death. You kill somebody..

"That is just not true. So this is the disney company. This is abc news. Who employs that woman signing hostile miss hostage in my opinion hates america and despises the system. That she believes is run by white people. She hates the police. All right and anybody who supports the police or america in general. She despises them. This is who disney is paying every day to go on and spout this stuff and it's not like sunny hudson is popular she is. She put out a book and no one bought the book. It was a tremendous failure. Okay and why is she on. Abc news program. Now i'm not calling for her to be fired. I don't do that was and has a right to her opinion. What i'm saying is why is disney paying her. Why i'd like to know there are thousands of journalists who would like to be in sunny. Hawson spot is it a competition. Is it a meritocracy disney. Why do they want her. View is a hate fest. anti-american program. Is that what disney wants. Now you know. I've been on the view. What fifteen times. When barbara walters was running the show. And this is an insult to miss. Walters a true pioneer in the broadcast industry. Who aged out. She created that program. Barbara walters does not want the view to be a hate fest every day but apparently the walt disney company and abc news does and it's not like the show gets baffoe ratings. It doesn't it does maybe two million. That's nothing you could put anybody in there to do that. So my question again is what are you doing. Disney company seems in every radical area. Your there the disney corporations every radical area. What is this. I would like to know okay. So summing up in minnesota we are very very sympathetic to the family of the twenty year old alive today. That never should have happened. Sunny hossan is telling you it's about airfresheners. It's not yet an outstanding warrant on a gun charge. That's why they took him into custody and that led because he didn't he resisted and fled to the shooting. That's the truth. Sunny halston lied to you. All right and to employers disney. I was in business on corporate media for forty five years. I lied to the audience. One time i would have been fired. Okay all right in georgia. Three police officers were shot. Okay in a chase. A car chase happened yesterday so about three thirty in the morning to men. We're going one hundred and ten miles. An hour georgia aaron shelton twenty two and pierre shelton twenty eight. The police rightfully put it on their lights. And we're going to give them in a speeding ticket. Well the men shot at the police and three of them were hit. Three officers officers will survive. One of the guys was killed. Aaron i believe it was no errands in custody. Peer shelton twenty eight was killed by police. Now these men are african american but none of the media would say that for stated that should they so tough one. It's a tough one but in the context of what happened in minnesota when you have three police officers in georgia shot by two african americans. You might wanna tell the whole story as i am telling you right now. It's hard. I don't like the skin color thing and don't want to demonize the african american race by every time as a crime committed by a black person pointing out that it's a black person. I don't think that's right but here. We have context the police everywhere. All eighty thousand of them across the country. No there is danger every day. That's not to excuse anything. You have an unarmed motorist. You pull over and the guy or gal bolts you. Don't shoot him debt okay. There was another incident in tennessee school or student. I don't know what color because they won't say killed a police officer. The you know the student was killed. The police officer are is in surgery. That happened yesterday too dangerous country. Let's get to politics. So joe biden wants two point five trillion for infrastructure. Now that's a ruse. Everybody knows it's a ruse. This money will be if it's okay'd will be used for civil rights gun. Violence climate change education medical research. Very small part of it'd be loose for infrastructure but the biden ministries. Oh this is all infrastructure. You gotta rebuild america. It's it's not true. It's a bunch of bull and biden knows that the republican party knows a bunch of bull but he wants to try to reach some compromise roller tape last week. I said that once congress is back from recess. I'd get to work right away because we have no time to lose so here we are democrats. Republicans have ideas about what they like and what they don't like about our plant. That's that's a good thing. That's america way. That's the way democracy works okay. Fine the way democracy works. Is that you before you go out and spend almost six trillion dollars money. The united states doesn't have or remember we owe twenty seven trillion soon to be thirty three. If you do the math and you threaten to raise taxes on all affluent people inc before you do that. You might want to consult with the opposing party now. Okay so this is socialism and we're gonna get to that we have a good guest on this in a moment now biden. Does he know it. Socialism and he'd never been in a million years. I don't know if he knows or not. I think he's diminishes. I said but i don't know what he knows. Now a marxist american the of the black lives matter global foundation. One of my favorite persons. Patrice sean colors. I don't know where the sean came from less. i'm was just patrisse cullors. But now it's con- colors okay..

Fatal police shooting the crowd mostly dispersed with a chemical irritant, much different scene earlier tonight, you had hundreds and hundreds of protesters who came out here onto the street. On. You had hundreds of cops in the right gear as well. They went back and forth. Some objects were thrown over the crowd at the police in the riot gear. Some fireworks were fired at the police officers. Ultimately, they deployed mostly tear gas is what they used. They cleared people off the street and then in Rose, they marched up the avenue there and cleared off the street boxes. After watching the body camera video, the city's police chief Tim Gannon, says he believes she thought she was firing her Taser, but it mistakenly grabbed her service revolver. "The city in Brooklyn Center, where 20 year old unarmed black man was shot to death by police. The police chief's there says he thinks you want to write. I was killed during a traffic stop after an officer used a gun instead of a Taser she planned to use. Meanwhile, we're in Bring in the third week of testimony in the trial, the ex police officer Derrick Show Vin in the death of George Floyd, the prosecution said to be getting close to resting their case, and there's also new, unexpected twist outside the court. Our own shown Anderson and Dimitri Sodas talk to WC CEO Sloan Martin, who's covering the trial, many apples about how the death of Wright was brought up a trial by the defense. They wanted to have the jury not only question about what they knew about what happened in Brooklyn Center, which is an inner ring suburbs of Minneapolis, but also to have them The question, he said. The attorney for Derek, showman Erik Nelson, said that seeing what happened last night could signal to the jurors what could happen in a potential verdict, but He was actually rejected by Judge Peter Cahill, who said that a fatal police shooting and a verdict are dissimilar. They're not the same case, he said that the jury will continue about their usual lives. They are going to be sequestered, though, for deliberations, which we found out today could start as soon as a week. From today. The defense we expect to start bringing their witnesses starting tomorrow they could finish even before Friday. Every time we looked up on the TV screen, it seemed there was a new person on the witness stand. They went through quite a Few people today they did in the state is very close to resting its case. First we heard from MIA cardiologists today There have been quite a few medical experts and this continued that. He said that Floyd died not from a drug overdose or a heart attack. But instead cardiopulmonary arrest due to low oxygen induced by prone restraint so very similar to what we've heard. In previous medical experts for the prosecution that it was low oxygen because of the knee on his neck and that prone position. We also heard what in the summer is called the spark of life testimony, and this came for employees Brother alone exploit his younger brother, and he's a Houston resident who told the jury about their upbringing playing tech mobile video games about even sandwiches together. How Floyd Is one of the oldest getting all the kids ready for school and the pool reporter says jurors were really paying close attention as photos were flashing the courtroom of Floyd as a young child being held by his mother of him wearing his uniform as a basketball and football player. Then we also had a use of force expert who's also a law professor who testified the use of force. Combined. The prone position and Sheldon's knee was unreasonable, excessive and contrary to accepted police practices, of course tonight, so we'll be watching you. How the city of Minneapolis in the surrounding area will react to the events of the past day and a half or so give us an idea of just how tense it is right there. Well, Governor, Walsh said that this is going to be the largest Minnesota police presence out on the streets tonight. Hundreds And 100 piece set of National Guard local and also county and state. Law enforcement agents are going to be out in the streets to try to avoid looting and damage and violence. There is another vigil being planned tonight as well, but they're preparing with that curfew. If anything else happens to be cco slow Martin in Minneapolis.
