They don't usually like to keep those under wraps for longtime it's weird that we're hearing about it already. Well that's earlier in the year. This time around Okay because we have the two races because the paint scheme guy i had on last week did not wanna give away anything. That he was doing for throwback so it's surprising because we're actually getting close it now and we haven't seen much so as long as the second scheme we've seen between cup truck and xfinity so we're kinda anti and then you get on it. Yeah i think it's a little gimmicky at this point. They need to maybe shelved for a few years. I don't gimmicky. I just think. I hate when they all released within a thirty minute window. So you get like nothing for months and then all of a sudden thirty teams on a release the same exact news in like a thirty minute span and it's like okay. Come on well not a lot of work for you. It does it. Does we could stretch it out over time and we can all do better about it. Yeah yeah all right up next. I think i don't know this for sure. What do you think about this from either either perspective. I don't care which one to start with. Yeah i mean. I think for I thought it was going to be three ones. If you're going to get in the game for a reverse first rounder. Three first rounders. I thought that's what it was. Multiple balls in the air I'm juggling and. You're you're on it. because. It's actually a sport that's exciting. So as opposed to to the action, track. You're still on that I'm ridiculously on that. Brag has asked he won this race. Track in May. Three win six, five, seven, top tens and average finish of sixteen point five to four dodgers win this game that I'm watching by the way at the time of this recording. So pretty happy. Okay What did you just do? Joey. Brad. it was just the third out. So that's why I was happy. Okay. Now, Joey To win six, top five, ten top tens of average finish of fifteen point three you better rough somebody up joey because we need some action. Seriously how about Martin Church junior this is a guy who's kind of gotten into a joe in the past. He has to top no wins to top five. What does that I thought he was a short-track ace. Apparently not he has to top three top tens and average fans knew this does not look good. Twenty point six he is doomed. Wow. Just L. do mode. Somehow Austin Dillon is here in the top six at number six at at Bristol Motor speedway he's got one top five, three, top ten's average finish of seventeen point, three, eight five, and that's eighteenth best. while. Yeah Speaking of Art Insurance Junior he finished second this past weekend and has become a short track threats in recent years not an ace because we just did stats on that. But here he is talking about short-track goodness deal where we got to work on certain things and trying to get Ricardo be certain things that I liked to do, and obviously it's A. Kind of began and be not to go to Jager with you know, basically, the same race cars in a lot of the same people just continue really to work in the same directions in the same areas. So you know I think short tracks places that are very unique and things that have worked in the past typically, you can carry through and and use them for season. So just the things that. We've been working on for me a particularly I. Guess, I'm not only the way I drive my style, but you know making the car compliment that and obviously great team and great race car. So it's really just a matter of putting all the pieces together and continuing to to refine on over the years and Mt. Jay is going to give us his thoughts on his recent chase Elliott run in at Darlington. Obviously. Really close. You know it was probably it was pretty much going to be you know the past weighing in my is you know I feel like in that moment, we both made a a split-second decision and tried to kind of anticipation or or what the other would do and and I think we both guess wrong to be honest with you. So Yeah. Just you know really close obviously nobody's fault. I don't think you can really been the. Blame on one guy just gone deals unfortunate for both our teams. This season has had its ups and downs is as crew chief to blame. Yeah you know I mean I wouldn't put that on James. It's just been one of the seasons. I. Feel like you know for us you know we went through some struggles here and there a little bit early on You know we came back from Cova de the break area was. Things were so different to you know a little bit of getting used to, and you know we were doing a little bit of experimenting and and it wasn't going really well for us we were bidding consistent. But you know we kinda got back to our our normal staff and. You know the last I guess eleven races whatever been you know feel like we've. been top two or three car had a shot at winning a few just like last week and they just haven't worked out. So we've had had a bit of bad luck this season for sure but. I. Feel like James has done a great job. He's done everything I. could ever ask him for and. I feel like he's you know Donna a job and I don't know that there's anything he's really missed. So from that standpoint I feel like. It's been good. I think we're definitely still getting stronger and have yet to show a real potential some pretty excited about that. Give them a chance to throw somewhere on the bus. That's awesome. Hey Martin you know you've been great. So your crew chief. GotTa be gotta be. March junior gives his thoughts on the Auto Club speedway in California your homeland, Kerry convenient impressed and short-track the action track part two I'm against it already I actually just heard. Yesterday I guess Ritchie's let me know I hadn't seen anything about it. So I don't know may not I'm kind of? A little bit sad. I guess you know I I really I really enjoy California speedway Great Race Track you know I, feel like the older it's gotten the the more fun it was to drive into race on. So little bit. Disappointed from that standpoint but you know anytime detractors excitement and it'll be cool. See what they come up with the I don't know any.

"You walk into gate till. The time you walk out is a challenge. Everything is a challenge I. don't care whether you're coming in pits the noise the noise will drive you crazy. You can't talk to your crew when the cards are on the track you have to wait till they quit running is just so many elements. The. Take the that that is bristled at is so different any place? Oh, she go that it makes it the hardest race that we run into most unique race. We run I think probably the biggest thing for me was folly subtle in that. You know it's super fast race track and and things happened so quick. And that pretty well was the first thing that really subtle in was. Gosh I mean I can't believe how rapid everything is happening. You don't have time to think I mean you better be up in the wheel we call it all the time because things are going to happen super fast. You'd better react super fast for me sitting in the car and as the last one on one thing that was giving me a provocation neck, my neck, which just fallen out there was so many G. forces I'd get four hundred laps into a five, hundred lapper and all of a sudden man my neck was just killing me and so I went and bought a special nick exercise machine. Every time I get rid of Bristol a month out I would start exercise my neck, just give it to strength a needed hold on because there's a couple of times where I had to finish the race with my right hand, hold my head up I was so tired and I won some racist like that at Bristol hold my head up with my right hand I go into turn one and hold my head up and as I come off at turn to I, put my hand down a back on the steering wheel. It was tough man it was the Bristol Beach Body up big time driving around the track is is a driver going there I used to always say that. The, first sort of fifty laps on the track every time you go. It takes a while for your brain to catch up with what's happening. It's kind of like an old VCR. Tape and putting it on fast forward That's Kinda the way it feels when all that's coming at you going around the race track for the first half of last. But eventually, it kind of all slows down and it starts to make sense and you start to sort of feel like you can keep up with what you're seeing. But I'm telling you it's such a fast racetrack happening. So quickly that. When you go there for the first couple laps, you're in over your head what makes bristles so special will wrap up with the perspective of Dale Junior and e w I feel like that the atmosphere Bristol is a selling point how it sort of. scoped it out of this out of this mountain. Camping. The smell of the campfires barbecues, sound of music. All across the acreage outside of the race track. There's It's a kind of a carnival atmosphere. Very Fun. Atmosphere. Can make an entire weekend out of camping with your family. There's just a lot to do that race track and that's not even counting the racist self and It's GonNa. Put on a good show. It's gone. It's always going to land. With a with an excellent race in and kind of the whole weekend experience for a family kind of culminates to the event. I it kind of know the Vince the. Final period at the end of the Senate's in in a no, it will deliver. When it comes to action and drama and fun for people that are there in person. and. There's nothing comparable to it. You can't. I can't take you to anywhere else in the schedule to any other race track and give you what Bristol's going to give you. Well. First of all, it's the last great coliseum and you know why? Because there's no place like it. There is no other race track. There's no other half mile concrete racetrack SH- around about one hundred and sixty, five, thousand seat. You're looking down on the action all the time so. It earned reputation because. It earned it in earnest reputation. It is the last great coliseum it is it is man and machine. It is the gladiators fighting each other. It's it. It did I think that last great coliseum just says it all about what that place is and what it's all about? It's the last. Great. Half Mile Racetrack the fastest racetrack half mile racetrack in the country and it still last great I.

"And I was a short-track punk I mean that's that's I did for most of my early years of my career around all the short tracks although the southeast and so when I went. In I and I'd already won a few races air driving gatorade core. But when I went to drive for junior, Johnson remember kill Yarborough later, all five hundred laps of that race driving junior's car. So junior new a little something about Bristol on you. A little something about Bristol junior knew what kind of car I needed their junior new kind of what kind of setup I needed there and you put my ability which unions knowledge and we were just unbeatable. We had we were we were just dominant the. Th the thing we worried about most about going to that race was when somebody was going to beat us because you knew it couldn't last forever but. Seven races. That's thirty, five, hundred laps. basically not making any mistakes having a good car and having a good pit crew and putting it all together and and you know ended up in victory circle just doesn't happen very often. You know. I think when I think about. Bristol and think about the racist we run our and stuff, and like I say one, two, three races are but what really stands out is is one time Zeppelin and race and. I think the motor blowed up on them why flag lab. In I coasted around stop got out of the car in the guys had run to his relapse to catch up with me in the I. that's that's my memory brisk for more than more than winning is probably losing. I've been dominating the Bristol and lost on a pit stop. I've been dominating the come into hot and get a penalty. I've been dominating. Go get ready to lap lap car in, miss him by two inches and and I clipped him and I go sale into wall. Bristles one of these top racetracks you thinking you've.

It's impressive what he's done. The the lower tiers. Yeah even even the Cup series to this point. Fifty six wins. Two Championships is amazing at the age. He's at he's only thirty five still and our two hundred wins in the national series ranks. Very impressive yeah. Yeah Yeah it's real easy to race against the little guys in a win. I mean you say that. There's a lot of guys who've done that over the years and they don't have the winning percentage cow Bush has when he goes down to those those other Siri so from that aspect of it is it is impressive to me from the other aspect of it. The Guy who likes to watch racing. It's not very fun to watch Bush down there and beat up on those guys but It's interesting that not everyone else can do that. From the Cup series that goes in and tries. What's going on with tift? He's actually going to go to Ohio to get more tests than to try to figure out what is causing the seizures that He's experienced Martinsville last year seizure which ended his rookie campaign In the fall and then during his honeymoon me off season suffered another seizure. He hasn't abated us on up through any other seizures. Sense them But it seems like they're still trying to kind of target what happened and what's causing these things so we can possibly get that corrected and then possibly working on getting his his driving career back but You feel bad for the guy. He's a really good guy. I've talked to him before I think you've talked to him before. Yep and it's really sad to see something like this happen but he's a tough guy. He had the brain tumor Thing he came back from. And if there's anybody I would put money on to come back from something like this. It would be mad tiff so hopefully he'll get answers when he goes to Ohio. This week to get some more tests ran and and see what's happening all right this weekend. You've been waiting for it. like four thirty five we were you know walking around shaking hands kissing babies no babies they weren't but you know I think day one was a success the show is fun I got to go through the Catholic that is a WHO's who of ESPN in the hotel. yeah yeah I mean like I said there's no other place to go in the town so that's where people go like I watch the end of that baseball game and a couple of feet to my left was someone that I'm not gonNA say their name but house like wow I'm sitting watching the same game this person yeah yeah it does billy of his microphone on or is he purposely speaking mike now we're down on Mike today so I'm sure In Chris down a Mike what happened on the Mike well because yesterday we were we were using someone studio that was out for the day so we were really into studios but today the person's backs our back to like the original place where we're supposed to be so we have two mikes and we're sharing today you need to get closer if you're sharing though is right ah yeah pretty close can you Mussa levels I don't know why Billy Solo I actually that you should lose my levels because I got a few tweets yesterday that before we went on air that I was low that like the whole podcast issues that I love so this is the Mike I was talking yesterday so that makes sense I also don't want to get too close to it because like some people get like not I'm not saying crisp like some people like right up on the Mike sock and like it's pretty it's pretty gross talk louder like this should I do this that works all right can I start this is not parting can I go midway here through the first segment of the local hour just say that I'm really proud of us and me in particular the Produ- you to do you know why though in general the man you've become in front of my eyes I'm proud because we've been rational about tyler hero in the Miami Heat this preseason I am so guilty of hyping teams up before the season you've seen it with the Miami Hurricanes and you've seen it with the Cleveland Browns and the Miami Heat it's been pretty quiet meanwhile tyler hero is currently sporting the highest points game average in a Miami he preseason since Lebron James I'm on my dad meanwhile anonymous NBA genes are telling Sean Dini that the Miami Heat feel like they have drafted Klay Thompson and he would be constant Vini saying that shot the Sean Dini us nap he's an be a writer for heavy DOT COM probably should've added that a little bit more but there are reports at the Miami Heat consider tyler hero untouchable even in trade discussions with one Bradley beal and another thing that I'm proud of is I have known now for close to forty eight hours there's that Bradley beal liked tweet that had him in Miami and we didn't do anything with that you know why cautious optimism yes conscious optimism because this is a different program than the Miami Hurricanes and the Cleveland Browns this is a championship culture expected I'm really excited about tyler hero has that been like giving yet by any fan I think he twitter has come around from the draft night disappointment of who the hell is this guy to all my God we got the great shooter of his generation that I'm GonNa be I on this I think he's GonNa be decent now that honestly ah I feel like we have I feel like to your are you making the argument like you're proud of us that we haven't hyped him up too much like I think we haven't had him up enough yeah I'm saying that's why I'm really proud of us because everyone would expect us to just be head over heels in love with tyler hero and talk about him every day and we've actually been relatively quiet and we haven't been those guilty parties that have been culpable on the hyping up of tyler hero who generally like plays the most in preseason games isn't it usually and guys like you know so I feel like the points per game like in a preseason game is not the best barometer but he's been great like just like wetness in like the slickness of his pullbacks has been unlike more more so than his just like you know points per so I'm glad you mentioned his wetness because I searched a NBA dot com and they have sort of stats and he doesn't he lead the NBA in wetness yes and the NBA preseason is different they drippy they they do play the veterans in the NBA. preseason they skip games are there but they get a good latte they were going to good lather about twenty five to twenty eight minutes a game tyler heroes just like Dude scoring twenty five points and twenty remits guys unbelievable the first fourteen points of their last game I yeah I really do have high expectations and now for this Miami Heat higher than I did entering the season knowing that we just added a top fifteen player with zero cap room credit the Miami Heat Front office that was allegedly washed this team's GonNa play hard every night and you saw George Sodano made this point last week you saw what Eric's bolstered did when he had a top fifteen player even before the Big Three era when he just had wing wait surrounded by a relative really bad team that was a four seed in the NBA. I think the same is going to play hard every night I think they're going to get some huge results on the road when you went an ex backed it I think they're going to be a regular season monster in the eastern conference and perhaps my expectations top three seed and it wouldn't surprise me in the League East if this team makes a legitimate run at the top seed in the East I said that we go hyped up what did what did heavy dot com say about is it is it factor that in reported that won't tell you this first hand he's got it in his day standing did you see it yeah we're looking at his eyes like God he's actually better looking in person than I thought I needed to stop with this like he's so good looking I was do this like it's not too much no you don't okay then he's so good looking this guy you know what's funny about him or like my impression of him so like I was reading about him before we had him on a little bit re coaching it and I saw that Jimmy Butler was saying that he talks a lot of trash during the practices and stuff like that and apparently he does like he he draws back and forth with people so I guess while he's playing he's doing that belief in person he was like very calm he seemed I mean it's obviously zooming because it was his first media days nineteen years old and he's not used to doing stuff like that but he seemed really like calm down to Earth when we were talking to him but apparently I guess when he's playing Bass always a different person now you know he was he was chill chill that's what he was we didn't even talk about the ice cats and their epic comeback from down four one on Columbus Day which everyone knows is basically Thanksgiving to the NFL bats what Columbus Day is so the NHL Will Martin Luther King Day is NBA that that's what Columbus Day and Canadian thanksgiving is the NHL and they stormed back from a four one deficit to win six four basically a laugher against winless New Jersey devils team and right now the season is back on track Roy Bellamy all right now I was I was in the airport looking at my phone the entire time and now they just came back from that from that deficit I was like Oh that was amazing I thought I'd Break Connolly guys first and second goal is the panther and good I was I was actually watching thing that I saw highlights like pop up my phone for that as well and I hadn't even really heard of that Kinda guy and it's like he got a goal and then I saw the alert again I'm like does that make getting the same alert and he just scored really quick back to back yeah yeah that was amazing good job and the United States lost Canada in soccer and men's soccer for the first time in thirty four years Greg with two guys out here trying to play like Barcelona and its heyday and you've got you know mls players doing you're not going to go toe to toe within the US is at its best as a counterattacking underdog that's when they could go toe to toe with almost anybody in the world and out here losing to Canada for the for some of my lifetime you really there's something happened last night that I've never experienced in my entire life and the nation's largest just okay we'll get him next time there should be like it should be on get up Taylor twelve and should be leading get up today but is a national outrage that this is happening considering that they just missed the World Cup and we dilly-dallied a year and a half trying to find a manager and these are the results that we're getting now up here be town were kinda close to New York so I could make a call and try to get you alive hit and get up would you like me to do that no I think Taylor twelve minutes speaks for a nation he was on that game and he started losing it like ten minutes left after candidate scored that goal like the fact that it was scoreless and did you see Chris Cody Christian Pulisic Gregg Berhalter the manager got into it a little bit I saw I didn't like I saw I read about it now Pulisic didn't play well he only completed completed eleven passes he was turning the ball over at pretty alarming rate but who the hell is Gregg Berhalter to pull Greg Christian sick off of off the field in the sixty first minute telling him he's not good enough yeah that's that's insane did y'all see Jalen more like Jalen Ramsey my right Kenny normally been working on that like really trying to go hard like he keeps saying Jalen Ramsey and then he went and who was that they saw he he had seen other people had said it when you think we had dinner I got around eight eight okay around around eight I need to I need identify when you thought of it this is no it definitely was done other people because this is exactly how it went down were sitting there and Roy you know we're having Nice heartfelt conversation and where it goes you know then it just like is and I would think something like big is coming like something profound and like you know we've been bonding and then he goes Jalen Ramsey has been traded and we're like what like.

So it's an amazing feeling to be in that kind of atmosphere. The conference will take place at the university of bristol. School of chemistry and that is really awesome. Building has really cool architecture. Beautiful tree and courtyard. So you can take mason photos there as well and make it wonderful content just by being a wonderful place with wonderful people then environment that loves technology and art. So that's really exciting for me. The conferences two days. You have two days of speakers on may eighteenth and nineteenth and on may eighteenth. There's even a social where you guys could just relax and network and have a good time with like minded individuals who want to talk about business and web development are all things wordpress are. The conference does include food for the price. So you'll get lunch and yeah. I think it's going to be really wonderful and i also want to touch on wordpress for a little bit into community because lately i've been seeing different platforms just going down the drain. They just. they're just disappearing. So the latest one has been google plus and that's a google product and just like that overnight. It was gone i can never existed. So it's good. That wordpress has been around for so long and the community is so big. Seventy five million websites. Run on wordpress Websites like beyond say tech crunch and facebook news room run on wordpress so big companies are using wordpress to build websites that are not just blogs but bigger websites with a lot of functionality because wordpress has that power and capability and the people that are the community really do put their time and effort into the community so you you'll have to worry about waking up tomorrow and your website just being gone because the community is. They're very strong and supportive and the platform has been around very strong for a while now. So that's always something that people worry about. You know you sign up to something that is new and perhaps doesn't have a big community and you never know when it's just gonna vanish and there goes your website and your hard work so you don't have to worry about that with wordpress that's always good community is also very friendly and if you need help there's always somebody just like one step away willing to help and support you in your business and that's always fun. That's always something. I appreciate about the word camp into wordpress community in general. They're friendly and nice and helpful. So yeah. I'm helping with some of the social media as well so connect with us at work camp bristol so you can see prior to the conference during the conference and after the conference you can see what's going on especially if you can't make it out because maybe you don't live in the area or you know you have other stuff going on at least definitely connect with us on social media and check out what's going on and talk to us and with a little bit digitally where they're for that. My personal social media is social media size. So you can chat with me there as well and we're gonna have a lot of fun. We're gonna have a lot of fun in bristol. So i'm excited. I hope you're excited to so. This has been carlos campos for the interpreter. Podcast talking about word can't bristol. See you soon..
