"But to Kim grant went on I r right and they called up four or to take place on the roster. So now, you're I mean, we're talking about Br Bryce. Brice butler. Right. He played he played. He was out there. I don't haven't got hurt to Dollah got hurt. So you we have Bryce and Karoo and Ford as like contributors, but those still I mean like, you still you still have stills Parker, an image Ola should be back this week and Karoo. I mean, they they traded up to get him in the third round. He's done. Absolutely. Not absolutely nothing. But he hasn't done much. So I mean, let's. Like, really like, what do you have? I mean, I know we're still in the hunt. But let's let's get aggressive in the hunt. There is something lose. You can't lose the bills right losing the bills might lose the locker room, and that would really test the whole, you know, geese keeping this team focused, and, but it would nice. It would be nice to go down swinging. Like, let's go out there. Let's take some chances. Let's go. Let's put our best foot forward this team. We should be like, let's go out there and give them every I don't necessarily disagree with you, which makes Fun Radio when we just yes, you're right. But I'm not arguing just to make good radio. They're not that they're not doing that against the bills. This is a team that we have more talent than this team. So they're going to do they're going to do the the gays playbook, and they should be in position to win. Maybe as New England they do that next week or after this game. Right. But I don't see that happening this. There's no way he sees a winnable game. He's going. To go with what he's been doing? All right. Not a kitchen sink game. Well, we'll we shall see. I mean, I I would it would be nice to see them come out angry, and it wouldn't it? Be nice. Yeah. It would be it would be. So the line for this game is the Miami. Dolphins are favored by four at home. So that's actually not a huge line. That's terrible thing. They're only one point better than the bills like on neutral field. The bills are foreign seven. And they have the best defense ever. According to you. I'm just saying you you want them to be Arezzo a bad, then they're not resign Abed there. They are when Peterman. Yes, anybody is would Nathan back. He's terrible poor one out for Nathan or I p I don't know. He might be our starter next year. Well, we'll be guaranteed for the first pick in the draft. Then we'll know what we're going to do. He's going to still wear a bills jersey. So he's he so he he might be happy throat. Actual there's make him where whatever team we're playing. He's gonna wear their jersey. And then throw it all the dolphins. Because right. I get it. Because those be interceptions. Yes. Oh, speaking of interceptions. How awesome is our amazing. I love that. He's awesome. I'm not I'm not I gotta I gotta you know, what I'm gonna get. You a nice. You can have a Frank gore jersey. How about that? Actually. You know, what I like Franklin even though even though I want Drake to have more touches Gore's playing I good. I thought the mix on Sunday was actually that it should be. But Drake got more. They put him in in not obvious passing situations and actually let him run for long touchdown. And he's apparently the only one that can score touchdowns on there. He is. He does have all or only his four rushing touchdowns. Nobody else has one on the team. So that's pretty good. One other thing about Sunday in the next. We can move on. I did want to call this out. We talked about it offline before we started the cast the touchdown that the colts tied the game on was an air. Eric brown. Touchdown catch in the end zone. Where for the life of me?.

"So if we look at it again from that other perspective, I think it was well worth holding on holding off of, you know, going out their old Thomas saving this for, you know, potentially what might have been needed, which is now and given up the first round pick for Mari. I think that that on its surface, it's something that. Nobody went scoff at all. Do come on. Earl. Thomas is very play that Amari Cooper. That's totally true. Obviously, all this. Now we're talking hindsight. I'm talking early that agree with you that Amari helps the countless a lot in most currently constructed more than all Thomas. And that's fully knowledge -ment that all Thomas's superior player, he's far better at his job in the Marlins his. But I mean, you can only have two times is on your defense. You're you're far better defense than you already are already grains. You said, but your offense is still struggling and you've nobody. We're not losing because defense. That's true. That's a good point. And that's where I wave the options. Brice Butler was the is the man out from our Cooper to return. He posted on his Instagram wrote about this was not calm. I just find the whole Brice Butler redo weird. I think all remember, kinda weird. Countless set off, you know, stack chemistry with dad's gonna be awesome, etc. The add to the groin injury, the hamstring, whatever it was and then. Didn't even have a catch. So. I think this whole thing was it was the Cavs kind of saying, you know, we messed up, man, we, we messed up. We got over Perec now and we're hoping that tomorrow. I mean, he's without question the best receive around the Dallas Cowboys day one. Yeah, absolutely. He walks in, you know, he's king. He's better than anything we have right now. Not that one of the other guys may not develop Gallup. But yeah, today a snapshot of today definitely walks in and he's number one receiver. I don't think a lot of people we talked about what this move suggests an implies. I do think it's just the college believe that they can still win this season. I do think it's the Cowboys believing that Prescott. I don't think that this move necessarily guarantees that they believe in Jason. I do think that a lack of a first round draft pick now inhibits your ability to go hire new head coach. That's the route of the Cowboys go because odds are that coach is going to have opportunities where he does the first traffic two thousand nineteen. So that is totally true. The cows might be want to risk that you know for this season and whatever that would be. I just the point is I don't think that this means off. They believe in Garrett, their role within, etcetera. I think this just means that they think are offense needs this, the spark of on it could be that. Yeah. I mean, I I don't think that it puts any Inc of on thing that they're thinking long term with Garrett. So it's it is what it is strictly around the wide receiver role right now. And I think that needs to be limited to that early prediction because you won't be on again for a few weeks..

"Today, clowns they know is not mercilus has noise not j. Joe, how long were they saying Indy last Sunday. Really? What were they saying? They gave up four hundred sixty four yards. Cab Boyd can't throw the ball like that. All right. Days. I hope that drove the ball sixty times. I hope he throws the time and the because if he throws his time, that means he is not eating well, thank you for bringing up my Manzi because I've told you he's going to have a breakout monster record-setting year this year. And he is off to the races because he needed to play his way into shape. He was not in shape coming out of training camp because he played zero snaps in the preseason and Shannon Sharpe second-half last week I started seeing shape. He's starting to lose some of his little excess baggage. These caring, his chin started to shrink a little bit and well, he should've went to camp issue. I know he didn't agree and he eliminated the three killer mistakes at Seattle because I still believe they would win the game at Seattle. If the end dropped a key early third down pass. And if he hadn't stepped out of bounds before catching a touchdown pass, and if he hadn't fumbled at the end of his longest run of the day, twenty six yards in the fourth quarter that would've changed the story that we won't be hadn't fumble. We're gonna. Do. Eliminated all three of those against Detroit last did that eliminate his turnovers, win against the adult. He eliminate those in the next game they want. Okay. Don't put all that. Well, I'm just saying z. cleaned his act up. Yeah, I had a moss. I'm gonna say it again. Two things have to happen that Prescott has to be allowed to run the read option at least six or seven times. And if he does and he gets to keep six or seven times, it's going to really make it hard on those pass. Rushing defensive ends because they wanna crash down if they wanna take Zeke way. I loved AC going for eight yards, nine yard six-yard seven yards and gashing that defense and then sliding and getting down. That's going to happen because it has to happen. And I keep saying Dax favourite target last year is was Brice Butler, and he's on this football team and why he hasn't played. It ain't now. He's not playing a snap. He needs to play any needs some targets because he is the only difference maker among the wideouts. So this'll be a breakout game for Dak, and I think it will be a good game for a defense. You Took a shot at my cowboy defense has allowed the fifth fewest yards in the National Football League. That's pretty good, I think. Isn't it right into into well, again. So you gotta feel. Three huge. I told you didn't like the opener because that was just to allina at home opener. Okay. I'll get all those games home openers at Carolina, aunt, Seattle, those are hard to win, not as not not if you're that guy Tahoe, Tom Brady, Tom Brady Bill, kill, you open. He don't care if you clothing. He's they wait as player in the history of the league. I've never said Dak. Prescott was Tom Brady gradient. He will. He can't be operates the way operates. So my defenses allowed the fifth fewest yards. And guess what? Desha Watson has been sacked the second most in the whole league because you know he'll run into sacks. Yes. Okay. Team is the third most sacks in the NFL. So I think we're going to get some Saks this time. Yeah, but you notice John watts. We'll make some play. He will make some plays. I don't. He'll make more than that Prescott and they'll win twenty fourteen mean twenty four sixteen she's sixteen year. I got the cowboy scoring twenty four and I got Houston scoring twenty one twenty four twenty one doubts. You wasn't on three touchdown home. It's this defense. I think he's gonna have a hard time seeing eighty five bears a two thousand ravens skill. We got some hamstring issues over there with those receivers, you you, you you like that. Do I like that? I'm hoping I like that twenty four twenty one, Dallas and yes, I have a case of diet mountain dew mad on, yeah. Do the do the hop we hop it..

"You can win an autograph deandre, Hopkins jersey a couple copies of mad or the UK for life. There are some of you. I know that are still drafting this week. We'll get the draft while you get while you have a chance and we were, we were on their update in that thing. The second this news broke. So it's it's up today. You can print the chiefs out. All right. Let's start in Arizona. The cardinals Cup. Brice Butler off season wide receiver signing. This is interesting only because we, you know, we've had to decide between if you guys in Arizona looks like Chad Williams Christian Kirk locked in and Ricky seals Jones. Yeah, I'm placing my chips on Chad Williams. I think that early the in the earliest parts of the preseason games, that's where Chad Williams was involved. Bradford looked as way long term. I, I like both guys, but if I had to pick one to be a viable wide receiver to Arizona right now, I'm leaning Ted Williams over Chris. I agree. Are you really? Okay. So I thought you'd go Kirk sway might know Chad Williams. We'd we do need to remember it was a long time ago, but he was a third round pick and he's one of these guys that blows up the athletic measurable. He knew. Needs a real chance in. I think he's going to get one here. All right. Only other Arezzo Anna news worth noting. Jermaine Gresham did come off of the pup. He's not expected to be ready for the opener. So few drafted Ricky seals Jones, you're good. You're good to go, but keep an eye on it because he will be back before week. Six looks like Alfred Morris went for thirty three dollars a fab in our listeners lively. Yeah, I was. That's upsetting to me because I had that beats at one point our in our listeners a fourteen teamer. So a starting running back is extremely valuable, but I pulled my bid down and I think I lost like five bucks. All right. Baltimore finally said, farewell to prochet Perryman. Yeah, he is working out with the jets and relevant for further conversation. That is one hundred percent. Sorry, Perman here's more significant news in buffalo. Say goodbye, Korey Coleman. There is someone four years old. Farewell. Something we don't know about. You know, it seems like Coleman has gone from budding star to maybe out of the league. Oh, he someone will. I bought that he held on, you think he'll I don't think he's done. He'll end up some on somebody's practice squad. He'll he'll he'll go the route of Greg little. Yeah, it's it's not good when you've got that kind of draft capital in you in your traded for a seventh and then can't make the roster with Alvin Benjamin and Zeh Jones you. You can't break in Jeremy curly, right? I mean, they the roster right now in buffalo. Like I think curly is a speculative add to be honest with you in in deeper leagues and in dynasty, don't mind..

"It just impresses me because you wanna see people actually moving forward in that area are my sleeper. Rickie seals. Tied in for the cardinals is if it felt a little less enthusiastic today, Jason, excuse my sleeper, not his, yeah. All right. To me when I see what's going on in Arizona, you have a lot of unknown behind Larry FitzGerald in the past catching space, Larry FitzGerald, David Johnson, you know, they're gonna get theirs, but Christian Kirk, Brice Butler. Chad Williams, JJ Nelson JJ Nelson, my goodness, you. You live to drop passes JJ. I don't know why, but I don't see a lot of clarity behind fits in David Johnson. And what I do see is a very accurate Sam Bradford that is presently healthy and then offense and a Ricky seals Jones that is running round pretty much every time he's on the field. This was a guy who was a wide receiver throughout his entire collegiate career, a five star recruit a pass catcher by nature. And I think he's gonna end up a favorite target for Sam. Bradford UC will in the beginning of the season and he's going basically on drafted. I was the last person. Draft the tight end in our league of record draft. And I ended up with Ricky seals Jones and I'm cool with it. And then Graham Barfield friend of the show. He went out and tweeted a couple of very interesting things about Ricky seals Jones one basically saying he deserves a lot more hype as the late round tied in because the cardinals have two hundred seventy one targets available in that offense. He's played on eighty seven percent of first team snaps in preseason, and they opened the season against Washington the Redskins have given up the fourth most third, most an eighth most yards per game too tight ends over the last three years. I think the he fixed that absolute sleeper. Teams can start em week one. You can go out there and get him and start em week. One I think Ricky seals Jones is going to and he flashed last year. I mean he had opportunities. He scored touchdowns four games of over eighteen yards. And the team just likes him and they need him. You know, it's not. It's not like a tied in. That's got a bunch of talent, but you're, you're stuck behind three or four, five, six pass catchers. You know, AS j. like I like AS j. Jacksonville, I don't. I don't see a pathway to him being a week to we guy at least I see the pathway Ricky seals Jones. Sure. I think that's fair. And while Mike McCoy has had, you know, Antonio gates, great weapons. He he has also utilized the tight end position over the course of his head coaching in office of coordinating. So there are a lot of things pointing towards a quality breakout year for Ricky seals Jones..

Ricky seals Jones cardinals JJ Nelson JJ Nelson Sam Bradford David Johnson Larry FitzGerald Mike McCoy Bradford UC Chad Williams Graham Barfield Arizona Jason Antonio gates Redskins Brice Butler Christian Kirk Jacksonville Washington eighty seven percent

"In a lot of things have to happen on a play it wasn't just to throw by rows away you know we just have to live with that do you when's the seahawks this year um within the cabinet thing it politics and football all of a sudden this year just connected you know trump saying staff and the capra next off and it was a weird year in the nfl like my whole life i watched football and there was no politics and football this year i watched football politics in football in the locker room seattle would there be dejounte talk politics is if it was it was the because one of our our team they want to our team is one of the most loud and most outspoken tamed in nfl and so you know other teams rally behind us in in will we were pushing for a you know as a team but know if forced guys into politics that didn't want to be a part of that are you a political guy no and you didn't want be part of it no and then but we support i teammates and now that was the bigger picture it was it was it was the push for the the the greater right and what are teammates were voicing was about more equality in shedding light on issues that were light when being channel and so they were using our platform to make our voice more loud and i i was in support of that and so what would you guys talk because you were one of the leaders teams is in in terms of kneeling and stuff like would peak call a meeting before the game or monday at practice win want you decide paul as a team okay here's what we're gonna do for the anthem okay as a team we pick different times as as a group of guys nudges as like a coaching staff or an organization we did it with each other and we we'll pull each other and see where were where our hair was and with the focus of asia if it was a good time to do something or not and you know that's kind of what we moved on we moved on each other okay so our earlier this week brice butler my friend was on the show and bryson i agree that we love wide receivers but you guys are icing on the cake the key.

"Did you would give him and yet in qpr my favorite stat really tells you what a quarterback how he performs with both his legs and is arming inning crucial spots his qpr fell from thirty year ago all the way to fourth third to fourth and only two quarterbacks have finish in the top four the last two years only to guess who they are tom brady and dak prescott so that efg grade came because zeke miss six games and sean li missed five games during which the defense especially in the second half turned into the worst defense in pro football and meanwhile the number one receiver for the dallas cowboys turned into even by your estimation the biggest disaster in pro football and repeatedly dak prescott was forced to force the football to number 88 who's no longer therefore him and he led the nfl did does bryant in drops and tantrums and you got to put up with that mess and you're only checked down option left to you is no eighty two a guy named jason he says he could outrun now right now in his dress shoes he could go outrun and right now that's what you're throwing two you got nothing left you have no receiver who can actually separate and get opener god forbid run by anybody except for brice butler who missed the key game of the year the one that could have gotten them into the playoffs the seattle game there's no brice butler and by the way brush butlers going to join us right here on set tomorrow we'll ask him about that so review.

"Okay stick around pass on my new friend brice butler listen i've been marginalized i think receivers are important but i have said before quarterbacks make the receivers now there are guys like randy moss who you know there's a handful of guys in the history leader just calvin johnson's absurd but by an in you actually agreed with me thanks to tango right yeah everybody wants to play with a great quarterback as everybody knows they agree quarterback you know the numbers of on be ridiculous you know such as a tweet hold on this is a tweet on our screen right now yeah yeah and then i said last night lessons to launch of his look at that guy and i was saying it i was saying the night before because i was watching the game and i was saying it about the quarterback receive a combo in new orleans your debates nothing against no no you might not be it is not and i'm a receiver so like i'm saying that like you know ted gin with cam couldn't find him ted gin with breeze dangerous whoa whoa whoa i don't know the only reason and that was the only comparison that i was like maybe you're off and this is why i say this this is why i say what ted gang caught ten touchdowns when he was and carolina camp and him dropped like five are you a campaign i stronger owner i am i talking about like people you know people who i'm talking about what i saw when he was a he did good work in carolina i think he had his two best years as a receiver and carolina but i knew what you meant when you're talking about percentages because drew brees higher persson he gets he put the ball in your hands.
