"I'm just all caught up on Stacey Abrams because I loved her response to the state of the union, she's, and she should have one in Georgia. The guy Brian Campeau is now the governor over there. There's a reason that he's passing all this ridiculously crazy antiabortion legislation Neo he barely won. And he shouldn't have been in the first place because he. In charge of the voter roll, and he purged tens of thousands of oats, the vast majority, we're gonna going to Stacey Abrams, so she should be governor right now of estate, and honestly, she was she said, no to running for Senate, or basically said, no, I don't know. I'm hoping even if it is, you know, even if it is a Warren on the top of the take, I'd just like Stacey Abrams, and she's not running for president. So the closest I can do is get on as BP for anyone, and I, but I'm actually, you know, it's funny a lot of people have been a little bit exhausted by already. But I think the democratic candidates, the Democratic Party is actually, doing really, really well, everyone's going to coalesce under one person whoever that might by and you know as name start to drop off. Maybe Elizabeth Warren does start to see an uptick, you know, or maybe, maybe Bernie takes that she's second right now. She's like she's in the so we got a lot of got about eighteen Pete moved about twelve people. I think he's very the seven nine percent eight percent. I didn't. Enters and the war on, I think it could be that, you know, again, the third kind of beta bait Beddoe is gone. He's just a horrible job. You know. But I like the message of Andrea. And I think that they could add some if he doesn't go far far. I mean who knows people vote and early. It's still very early. So it's really exciting them, as you can tell him, I think this is going to be the most exciting election, we've had in my lifetime. And if it is, if it does end up being Biden, that's one term, as far as I'm concerned and we right now. I think we just gotta get this country, just we gotta go just even even if it is just need to get a closer slightly to a humane principles principle. That's all. So I understand would've thought I know MS after Obama, you would think you would have another exciting election coming up. Yeah. Well, it's been exciting for sure. But anyway, so yeah, we can have to come back and, and talk. When closer to the election, after we after we whittle this down a little bit. But maybe we should just viewing party, we should get together. Sounds in June and watched the first debate. All right. Everyone will. Thank you all so much for listening. "From Washington to Wall Street. I do with Matt. Good Wednesday morning. America's First News continues on this January second thirty four minutes past the hour. And President Trump huddles with top congressional leaders today at the White House for a briefing on border security. Of course, it comes amid the partial government shutdown which is dragged on over funding for a border wall. President Trump tweeting yesterday, let's make a deal. House majority whip Steve Scalise told Fox News it shouldn't be seen as caving. If President Trump decides to meet Democrats in the middle somewhere between the one point three billion dollars offered and the five billion dollars, President Trump has requested. There's a lot of different items that relate to border security that we can negotiate about. Let's I recognize this is about securing our border and the president's been very clear about what he wants to do to keep America safe. And he campaigned on it. He was elected on this. And so again, if there's a better way that Chuck Schumer can put a plan on the table to keep this country safe. I want to see it if he's okay, by the way, what those thousands of criminals that we stop every year. How many thousands do we not stop because we don't have a secure border. That's what this fight is about. And is he okay with those people coming across illegally who are criminals. They just caravan. There's over six on your criminal just trying to from you congressman how how much you would support the president caving on some of those initial demands such as the five billion dollar Mark Louie Gohmert, the house freedom caucus, urging the president to stick to his initial demands saying he needs to hold the line till hell freezes over. "G A to seventy nine seventy nine seventy nine. from the Washington Post. The headline what's up almost Jimmy what's up with all those black men who voted for the Republican in the Georgia governor's race. Don't even mention his name in the headline. This is an analysis piece in the Washington Post what's up with all those black guys who voted for the Republican. It's written by a black pundits Washington Post outrage that black men did not vote for Stacey Abrams. Now most dead, but she didn't get the usual. Ninety two percent of the African American vote. It was something like eighty nine eighty five percent. White female voters in Georgia showed little interest in helping black women fulfilled their dream electing. Stacey Abrams has governors. That's how the story opens white female voters in Georgia showed little interest in helping black women fulfill their dream of electing Stacey Abrams has governor white women are supposed to understand what black women wanted whether dreaming about an help them pulling off. It would have made Stacey Abrams the first African American woman to head the state in the nation's history. Seventy five percent of white women voted for Republican Brian Campeau was declared the winner late last week. Among black women ninety seven percent supported Abrahams who the first black woman to win a major party's nomination for governor. Wait, a minute isn't all this an indication of racism and sexism ninety seven percent of African American women voted for an African American woman. That sounds like racism to me. And you can even say sexes. Of course. It would never be called that. But another group of voters also raised eyebrows for how they voted in the race in which Abrahams fell about seventeen thousand votes short of forcing a runoff black men voted for camp at a higher rate than black women, according to exit polling data point that drew gasps and rebuke on social media ended news commentary, according to network exit. Polling David Ige eleven percent of black men voted for the white guy. So when black men vote for a black candidate eighty nine ninety two percent. That's that's grounds for outrage who are the racists here. Anyway, those numbers are reminiscent of the double digit level of support that Donald Trump got among black men in the twenty sixteen presidential election. How can so many blank guys still aligned with the party that now more than ever is unified by white identity? Politics asked Rene Graham in a Boston Globe column after the election. Sounds like we got black identity politics, but I'll get I'll guarantee you this is policy related. There's no way it's racial related. A greater number of African American men voted for the Republican and voted for Trump in Georgia. And I'll guarantee you in both cases, it's about the economy in two thousand sixteen it was it was thought that that that Trump would be much better on the economy that Obama had been or that Hillary would be and after two years, it turned out to be the case just like there was a policy reason for an increased number of African Americans voting for the white candidate for governor in Georgia. Rhonda Santa's that issue was school choice. Which by the way. School choice is an issue that I Republican party ought to embrace this in unison school choice involves a whole lot of different things home schooling. Charter schools any number of things. But it's something that that that more and more parents want to have a say so over because more and more people are becoming aware of how decrepit the public school system is becoming. There's a story from Reuters Trump is right jobs for black-americans abound. Here's why it may not last. Ask Memphis residents, and they might say that Donald Trump got this one right at this is the best job market as far as many in the majority black city can remember for single mother LaTasha Harwell. Well, it's meant finally landing a fulltime job as a medical assistant. Chiquita? Clayton says that she has an open offer to move from part-time to full-time at a FedEx warehouse forklift driver. Kendrick Jefferson got three dollars an hour more for switching employers. Unemployment in Memphis, hit a post crisis low of three and a half percent in April. It has since crept back above four percent, partly because more people are joining the labor force. But with poverty rates are still among the highest in the country workers employment advocates and government officials also say this is only half the, of course, it's only half the story because they got to figure out a way to take away some credit for Trump for making this happen. So in three different stories, we have evidence here from exit polling data that African Americans voted either for Trump or for Republican candidates for governor in Florida in Georgia in greater numbers than before or than expected. And I'm just telling you it cannot be race. And it can't be identity politics that has to be policy related. Which the left, of course, never wants to consider everything to them must be identity politics at can't be policy. They would not stand up. Well, now, there's something else. "To mitigate the risks of the big ones breaking out and everybody in the legislature voted for it and vetoed. It was kind of a head scratcher specifically to work with the the power companies and their transmission line paths in high fire regions, explain it all after five o'clock. You know, he blew it on that. We'll bring it back the moist line people next hour end. We will f a special edition of hacking dumpster, Satan's lake of fire. It was a late decision. Just made today that this person had to go because of the outrageous things they had to say. Topic? All that's coming up next hour here on KFI the election mess in Florida, by the way is Debbie there. Yeah. I'm here. You say that Georgia woman. Stacey Abrams gave up finally. Yes. She did. Okay. Yep. Here's the last. We had seen this morning. And this is the Georgia democratic gubernatorial race between Stacey Abrams and the democrat Oprah's candidate and a Republican named Brian Campeau is the secretary of state. She was thinking about going to court, and this has never been done that anybody knows to have everybody vote all over again. Yeah. Another crazy. Well, she's saying that she is filing a federal lawsuit to challenge, which she's calling an election officials gross mis management. Yeah. Anything specific about that? Unofficial return show him with fifty point two percent of the more than three point nine million votes cast. Nobody takes losses anymore. Do they know? And you know, what it is? It's the Trump effect. It's so contentious right now that if one size, especially when you bring an Oprah and Obama we couldn't have possibly lost. We got the power players on our side. Right. They immediately claimed the foul, and because this guy was secretary of state that gives them like, you know, hint hint. A good reason to claim foul you've just claim stuff. They have no proof. What are you gonna do Yellen about voter suppression? You got four million people voting and the way cockamamie voting systems are I'll bet you you could recount the ten times and come up with slightly different results. Celery slight is the key word l think it'd be anybody. She was down by eighteen thousand votes. There's never been a recount that affected eighteen thousand votes. It's never happened. Even at a four million cast now know what you have is a very narrow difference in percentages. But in raw votes eighteen thousand is a lot of votes that would have to be eighteen. Thousand separate scripts. That's because I read I read an article on this today regarding the Florida talk about for well, yeah, you could start the governor in the Senate and explain Baffin medically the history of recounts, and how it really only affects. Stuff. That's so close it's practically a tie. But when you're when you're thousands of tens of thousands of votes apart. There's never been a recount it's changed the result in American history in Florida in the Senate race Republican governor, Rick Scott leads the democrat, the incumbent Bill Nelson by less than thirteen thousand votes. And they're doing a legally required hand recount judge in the case. And he hasn't changed. He set a deadline for Sunday. They got to get this done. And I don't know what they're going to be able to do that. And what kind of outcome? They're going to have. But in the Senate race, which is the other rather the governor's race Republican Ron to Santa's democrat is Andrew gillum that one they think is over. In fact, the Santa's leads Gillam by more than thirty three thousand votes, and they did do a recount and Gillam gained one vote. He gained one vote. That's what you usually get these recounts where? In each district. You find out there's one or two votes or three or four votes either way, and you, and you you know, what the difference is they run these. They run the ballots through machines. Right. And sometimes the machine will pick up stray marks on the card or sometimes you have a stupid voter. And they've they've they've filled in two circles for two different candidates. So they have something called it over vote. And that's when that's when the. Sheen Clinton two for one right? So they they credit both candidates with the vote. And then sometimes you have an under- vote people forgot to vote him, right? Or what they what they do is. They put an X through the little bubble or they circle the candidates name. But they don't fill the circle with ink. Oh, then the machine isn't taking it out. Right. So what they do is. They start looking at the ballots to try to chairman. Okay. What was the intent here? Oh, well, they circled his name. Okay. We'll credit him with a vote, but that's very minimal. So you what do you know what they have in Florida like with ours? We know you put the little thing over the county. You put the little thing over the post in the Inca dot the punch. I don't know what they use their could you literally go into the ballot box and circle someone's name people people do I guess why? I think a lot of cases they have pens and you're supposed to fill the little bubble like icy manual. You wanna test like on an SAT test? Yeah. So I think this story I read the only a couple of examples where the results switched. But that's because it was one hundred or two hundred vote difference. Right. It wasn't eighteen thousand votes thirty three thousand votes because most of the time it it changes the result by two hundredths. Our percentage point. Well, that's that's not. That's not good enough here. Here's the other thing. And here's where another technical election term comes in. It's called cure is anyone. No, cure means in terms of elections and voting cure. Well, this is something you mentioned the other day, John, maybe we ought to go back to everybody just votes on the one day, we do with the machines could Lord the male and create a nightmare number one. Some of them come in. So late number two. What they're supposed to do is match the signature on the mail in ballot to the signature on file. And if the person doing it says don't think so it gets thrown in a pile for you know, provisional or we have to take another look or the word cure means the voter is contact and has a chance to validate that that wasn't deed their ballot and their handwriting of that's too much trouble. There's way too much trouble. Apparently in Florida. They have this. They have this rule. Democrats are accused of altering official forms to change the deadline to fix. Secure mail in ballots deemed to be invalid. There's something wrong. Thousands of ballots were thrown out to a signature mismatch. There's something wrong with with the brains of the people who run elections in Florida one of the judges. There's been a one hundred lawsuits over this one of the judges says say this week. Why is it that Florida is the laughing stock over and over again that right? The judges very angry every every election since gore against Bush. It's always it. And it's the simplest thing you just print out a sheet of paper with the names of the candidates and the U Inc. Kin who your who your vote for and you run it through a machine that detects the ink, but is it because Florida's such a divided state politically that these close races. It just ends up in the spotlight, or is there incompetence in other words in a place like Ohio, the race wasn't close enough for anybody white up by the I think there's a lot of incompetence Florida happens to be a fifty fifty state so all the incompetence gets magnified in LA county. I'm saying what LA county everybody votes for three quarters democrat. So you you don't nobody takes a closer? Look. I'll bet you. You and I were talking about that as you probably know by now, the Republicans are pretty much lost all the seats in congress. I think they're down to eight. Yeah. Voters moved out, and as they continued to count ballots in places like Orange County, the Republicans who are ahead an election night. Lost them all that Mimi Walters lost her race. But Kim Young lost. Her Ray Royces seat. A lot of people found California intolerable, and it was a lot of white middle class and upper middle class homeowners and families, and they moved out of the stay left and the ones that are left. Here's my opinion, they voted early. So they were in the early results of the voted on election day, but this crowd. It's clear now that voted late either by mail and data or by showing up at like Norwalk and standing in line at ten o'clock at night. I think there's something fishy about that. That crowd overwhelmingly voted for the left wing. Apparently, it's going to result in a change in sheriff in LA county. It looks like margin. I think McDonalds challenge that was somewhere that got all those people to stay. I think you're right. Yeah. There's somebody want to do a little investigated pizza though. There's nothing wrong with that. You can do that. Well, let's see the details. I wonder if they were qualified to vote now you're gonna clean the overpaid. Died. George Soros is there handy. Sara is no chance that all those people. Suddenly learned of the new California law allows you can register to vote on the same day that you do vote, and that you have to go to Norwalk of all places, and as long as you stand in line at eight o'clock, you can stand in line, no, midnight and get it done. And they wanted to do this. They who wants to stand in line in Norwalk at midnight to vote when you've never voted before you were even register, and I'm I'm suspicious to that in these races talking about where the the way the balance were going the Republicans were gonna win. But why all the late ballots turned the whole thing upside down. It doesn't happen that often either. No usually a trend kind of holes in the voting, but we got more coming up at scandal. And I think speaker Pelosi is going to be vulnerable because she hasn't held the gavel in some time, and the Democratic Party has not been faring very well under her leadership in the Georgia governor's race Republican Brian Campeau, hold a slim lead over democrat. Stacey Abrams says victory is near. Make no mistake. The math is on our side to win this election. But Abram says not so.

"Kusak. Control of the house and Senate is at stake as Republicans and Democrats make their final arguments ahead of Tuesday's elections. President Trump will be wooing voters in the midwest today with stops in Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri as he continues to focus more on immigration than a booming economy. What we do see is a president thinking Americans should be afraid of migrants and caravans and gangs in middle easterners as he said in the caravans in preparation for what he's calling the invasion. These a rough rough people in many cases. They're allowed to break through our borders. We have emboldened these people it's not going to happen. Bob Costantini, Washington. The Republican candidate in Georgia's governor's race. Brian Campeau also oversees the state's elections accused Democrats have tried to have voter registration systems. Democratic gubernatorial candidates Stacey Abrams fired back. First of all. It's real investigation. What has happened is that Brian Kemp once again is trying to cover up for his failures in cybersecurity by blaming someone else? The first four times he blamed staff, he blamed vendors. And now, he's blaming Democrats. Israel's defense minister welcomed newly restored US sanctions against Iran, which take hold today, but rains have protested the move the sanctions were lifted in two thousand fifteen as part of a nuclear deal sources say Mr. Trump's call to bring them back is an economic war on Iran over the weekend. Protesters voiced their opposition and say USA. I'm John.
