Plus, it's a great way to keep him connected to those games while you're away from your console. So why is that we suspect it has something to do with the apples, APP store policies. And of course, it could be negotiation between Apple and Microsoft. No word on when that will launch to the iPhone and the iPad platform. We suspect it has something to do with the apples, app store policies. And of course, it could be negotiation between Apple and Microsoft. Because, of course, as you could imagine, everybody wants a piece of the puzzle. Well, yeah, and I well, I was I was looking at this, and I mean, you've got a lot of memory on consoles and even laptops these days, But what kind of memory will this take for your phone? How is that going to be able to handle it? These are not going to be the full rich experience games that you're used to. On your console. You're not going to get the full immersive four k. You're certainly not. With 75 inch TV to play these games, But it will allow you to take the games on the go and also be perfect for maybe older titles that are available on the Xbox experts Game passed subscription. It'll also be great for casual games. You want to play on the bus or on the go is a great way to keep him connected to those games while you're away from your console and speaking of consoles. Microsoft, of course, is getting ready to release the Xbox. Siri's ex later this year. So if you thought you had all the latest and greatest in consuls, of course, a couple of months later, it's all out of date. This is I mean, I'm imagining a $1,000,000,000 industry. But if you're allowed to jump from a phone to a tablet does that water down the value of going out and having to buy a new hardware for for some of these games, or it's an interesting question. And what, like DVDs have transition to virtual offerings where we don't collect disks anymore games? They're doing the same thing. You can get this subscription. They've got you on the hook for 14 99 a month. And you don't have to pay 50 60 75 or $100 every time a new title comes out now. Don't expect all of the latest titles to be available by subscription that maybe some of the more catalog titles of some of the more popular game, not everything. We're not going to see the titles that would go down to the store and bio or digitally download go away completely. But this will certainly expand the offering and again put you on the hook for 14 95 a month. You know, well, the only thing I can say is I know my son's still sleeping. Hopefully he didn't hear this and hopefully he won't hit me up for when I get Home today. So, Brian, thanks very much for your time this morning that is tech expert Brian Westbrook. We're back with

"With maybe Brian Westbrook you can argue with the Russian numbers absolutely great he's a great player way yet what's what's the issue yeah the issue it it seems like to me like like that it seems like you are bothered by us you know him wanting to retire at the new eagle we don't make that nope what I'm bothered by east la shown before the person is what a bother by there's no doubt that there's something going on with the show will point women look at just look at the incidents right and again I want to make this very clear he wasn't arrested which was it says some going home shama Korean women well I am the incidence it seems like it did every incident that's public has to do with whether it's on Twitter and he's he's fighting with the the mother of his child and he's I he's the publicly him trying to humiliate or whether strong women off a party bus whether there's somebody being robbed it for jewelry in his house there always seems to be something that's points to him being a creep towards women so that's why I I'm not a big list so I'm a quick band Dominic that's why I didn't want him to come back here when the eagles were sniffing around about a possible trade I'm just being honest right I mean that that I'm not that mean you can't tell me how I'm supposed to feel right you can't disagree with me saying that you can disagree with you can disagree they that with some other things maybe I'm saying but I feel what I feel right you think he's a good guy what the topic the topic is that he's retiring as an eagle a player not a person yet retiring the electronically player ball he's what that that that he wants to retire as an eagle and my reaction was now I'm not really interested in that I mean that that the topics not really it's more more less based on opinion do you want that right I mean that that's that's what I thought it's not something that I'm right about your you're right about a wrong about it's an opinion right you're just a you're disagreeing with my pain as are as are most people listen most people are looking at lasalle McCoy the football player and saying he was a great eagle so if he was to come back here retires in eagle that I'm I'm totally fine with that okay and that's great my reaction to some core saying that Jeff McLane last night it gave me the night what we him when the retires in eagle I was just like Mariah I'm cool I don't really want that yeah and he said I'm I'll always be illegal he did he did no real read that up let's go to Mike in well with the Mike how are you Hey I agree with both the I I I agree with you in regards to any read them all in okay of bringing down Peterson here is John if you don't think that that some of no he did your your dream I don't know where but see here's the thing I think you'd influence on it but I mean that that's where it ends right like you influenced in any way yeah that's where they need to then therefore I will connect the dots and say he was that he had a big hit a big responsibility for the Superbowl well you do the word big and that that's what we disagree with you I say I'd be will gave a simple ring this week already like I said he had a slight inflow in yes and you know being successful to the ultimate goal okay that wrong with I mean why would you why would you not root for the guy you you're welcome all now changing the court I mean look if you're going to if you're not let him retire as an eagle then let's take go Jay let's take he need not no no no no they're not meets when you're talking about the other night the owners yeah bonding there said it got a lot of trouble not what what do you might actually say the inmates are running the prison properly yeah we thought what do you talking about may I I think for the most part I mean ninety nine percent of these athletes or stay out of trouble and or or I don't think they really mean what did you have model no I don't want to speak for you might you read so many so much bad behavior in the NFL right that is why I mean why bastardized shady I mean any given day you know you get bad red cross horrific things going on like one example just off the top of your head about all this terrible behavior talking about okay brown yeah I mean no I know what you're talking about so much bad behavior so I'm just wondering exactly as you're surely could be a ton of stuff off the top of your head right well you will after we get in trouble but I'm I'm just saying but the point is that athletes get in trouble and they're still in the league best appointees make that's right I made it Kim phones at Indy read getting a bad rap because of his players you know and best record and displayed on the field and also so I mean if that is the Xander then why not let I'm not in the chorus there I mean I'm a I'm a fan of his accomplishments and athletic that but as a the issues he sad with women we do not day Mariano yeah yeah not date my daughter Mike you and me I would say more people is not the legal guardian eagles fans out there agree with you yeah they want to welcome him back in the organization retirees in eagle and all that and I I I I would I could I could do without CJD ever again yeah I just I just could I could I could look into some details about about some of the stuff that he did and at that I mean if that doesn't affect the what what you personally think about somebody it though it does for me I mean it just does for me you know and and I'm just so you have convicted I'm just being honest no he I'm not saying he committed amount that you want to have your say look at some of the things we've been accused of I'm just I'm just I'm talking about his behavior I'm not talking about I'm not talking about legally I'm not talking about criminally I'm talking about just the kind of person that he is right and the kind of person that I believe he is based on the information that I have I I doesn't involve the the legal issues what what other stuff the incidents that I brought up his behavior towards women on occasions on Twitter the the the incident with the boss whatever was going on down there in Atlanta if the very least if it's not criminal there's still a lot of things that you should look at and say well we'll that that's not good let's go to Kevin trend Kevin how are you Hey how you doing Kevin so now you any read you know I I heard everything you say and I what it was like fourteen fourteen years of entertainment you only know don't know wearing the show for your own I mean it was just like you know he was a I'm not sure you know I don't know what to call it but anyway he was there we didn't we didn't we got on the show for man I'd I'd how can we got nothing to show for it we think you'll win fourteen super bowls when we write it but anyway to eight but check this out of my my second point was well about rose right right yeah yeah and I got I know he will be remembered this song is by no Rado Michael Walden is called usher the love that you know and and see that's what my thing well these people say they appreciate eighty three you know but the thing about it is I I'm big depreciation I did appreciate Kobe when he was all all all five even when he was a in his prime you know I mean I wish I had its and like I said the name the song when I should love you that was at a local we demand acts I looked at him as the enemy you know what I mean like he was because he you know he's from Philly you didn't you know Alan he he was against my Sixers and stuff like that you know I mean it was always the yes I I know how you describe made with this it would be you know but now man I when I hear all these testimonies about his personal life and all the stuff we did you know us I appreciate the guide now see really my should have an appreciation day should be called no I'm not a problem is cabin the problem is cabin we want to have an appreciation day that they could be here to experience that they can fill you know you're you know you know the saying give me my flowers flowers rom alive as opposed to given to me right when I'm dead well that's what we're what guess what if any re were to pass away any time soon everybody would be Tom almost they appreciated in to read write with which we went up when testimony after he's already gone we're going to give him his testimony right now yeah right now I have a cat yeah I said it thank you miss testimony right now inky king of Prussia yeah the Superbowl Sunday right we planned we've been doing Kobe Bryant appreciation last couple days here and he was a big how are you yeah the you know what what impressed me is the all these great athletes from around the world looked up to Kobe I mean we hear name are you here Djokovic Indians here you can now buy girl my favorite basketball what's her name Karachi I mean that's that's impressive man but this day I about this the bird that's gonna be on lebron I'll give you ten to one odds that he will because of that or in in my opinion I mean that's something to think about I'll be interested you're almost graduating I said I was lost on appreciating the bra you almost pull me back in with that man I'm really impressed if you can read the Lakers team on his back with all this pressure yeah and win the championship all my goodness look about this look at when I think of Colby you know we at I'm gonna say some that I guess people won't likes grew Allen Iverson scored back there J. score will guard it is not our lifetime in the history of Philly sports we never ever had an athlete like Colby the problem I hope and wish for you know we die in the next twenty thirty whatever forty years we get an athlete like Colby not an athlete but after I know which had will with its physical status but he was you know he was busy with the woman instead of you know what your game in that I don't autumn that much but this before well fed white yeah can we get the whole package athletes the weekend three four five championships one time in the history of sports in this city can you have Kobe and let me say one last point sure if this city I hope the city becomes more like Colby I hear people saying call these not delete that we should be more like Colby in this city I want one of the best in the black our data from Colby into the city if you know what I mean there is I have a special a Yankee yeah there is I'm not sure if you don't know quite what you're going to get from him well when he calls you usually have an idea that something though yeah yeah give us a little taste of what we normally sometimes though he he does raise thought provoking things is rare but yet they usually don't mix that in yeah this wasn't one of those along with its I get where he was trying to go along with the normal chaos and bring us the Iverson thing is interesting like I reasons obviously an all time great and he's a hall of Famer and like would you would you take back the I was there.

"We'll survive whatever baseball thrown at US Brian Jordan Howard being out of the lineup with a shoulder injury for a while now Mile Sanders has had a bigger role and despite some struggles earlier on in the season Sanders seems to be developing from week to week. D Like what we've seen recently from Sanders. You know I I I do think has gotten better especially from early on then thing miles continues to get more touched us. I still think it needs more attention to be us with you. I I think at this point a year between twenty and twenty five touches every single game and the twenty two nd down there and play Miami. I I would like to didn't give more. I think up into this week. He was your mostly supposed to play on offense and You Know Boston Scott kind of took that mansell the way from them. I'm I'm just fascinating because he plays so well against the giants but I think he's a Mile Sandwich. Most is supposed to play on offense and you gotta find ways to get him in space space To get him the football. And you know if you do that. I think you can be a little bit more successful because you don't have a lot of the healthy weapons on the hour on the outside outside I'll outside being offer the season Nelson dealing with the knee and all the other thing you have to have some opposite options to get the ball on the edges and I think Mile Sanders certainly provides that but I wanNA give a shout out to the phillies face. They stuck around enough football game Monday night in. You know terrible conditions. They were able to to do that and really sick and stick in there until the end of the game and I thought that was pretty cool for the fancy to do that. And Ironically we're here is because of their ability to take some water breaks throughout the middle of the game and if the route after having a cocktail or two that they're able to do that stay and enjoy the entire part of the game to get into the part where the Eagle's actually played well in the second half of the gang so I thought that was kind of fitting but also pretty cool that the fans table to do that Boston. Scott Dea think he's capable of taking on the Darren sproles role in this offense. I if you saw what he what he did on on Monday. I think the absence of that is absolutely He looked he looked like a young. Darren sproles in the kind of reminded me Marie. Jones drew like a little bowling ball out. I mean he did a great job of setting his box up reading his mock. Exploding through the whole not being talked about the first defender making the guy miss an open field and if you're looking for traces of running back that's exactly what you need. You need a guy that has that ability to do all of those things and the question is why were using earning season because all those things are attributes that we could use earlier in the season to try to help us get a little bit more wins than we have currently. So that's the real question I I would think in my mind last question Brian. And it's a big one dea. Think this eagles team is going to make the playoffs this year. I just like many people say it's GonNa come down to that Dallas game. I truly believe I mean. I think it's easy to see. The Dallas has mortality analysts on the offensive side of the ball. Then we do. I think our defense has the ability to play up to the challenge But I also feel that when them without US cowboys owner Jerry Jones started talking coaching contract and players contract and talking bad mouth. The coach all those things. I think he's doing that football team in so as much tolerance. I think that that's football. Team has which is more than than we have. I think we find a way to win. That can cause I've seen her. I'm saying Offense didn't play great prefers tasks and you know we gave up some big plays defensively the first half but you you know and I know that they have some players that can some of those weaknesses. But that's just how much I think about the noise that surrounds team. And how the noise can affect your team I think the noise around Dallas cowboys is GonNa be the one thing that prevents them from Being able to execute well enough to beat the eagles because of that I think eagles won't make the playoffs hopefully so Bryan but Bryan. It's been an absolute pleasure. Shout out to the crown royal water break. Thank you Brian for joining us today. Have a good one brother. Thank.

Tell your friends all that good stuff. It really really helps the show. All right enough chatter from me. You came here for Brian Westbrook. So let's kick it on my chat with the man right now and joining me. Now is a man that needs no introduction. He is eagles legend. Brian Westbrook Brian. How you doing brother? I'm doing good how are you. I'm doing real well Brian. There is a time talk about with the Eagles but before we get into that which let the people know what you got going on with the crown royal water break and how they can get involved. Yeah so I've partnered partner with how royal a couple of years ago and you want us to provide fans a responsible way too soon on the spirits on game day and really not not just on games but throughout their normal thing. And you know I. I've been out of the League for a little disarray. I've been able to partake in some festivities and things like that and tailgating. It's been really really cool but a lot of it is that you. Sometimes you see people over consuming but the biggest thing that crown royal as in pushing myself is he responsible as possible with your drinking and consume. Whatever you want to but just make sure that you're taking a water break and on the field we'd take a water break and come up with the sideline we've rehydrate ourselves and we you kind of get ourselves ready for the next series and really in off the field pre game and during the game and postgame Crown Royal Really? Hasn't trying to do the same. And so we've been pushing a message that you want to enjoy the entire portion of the game in the party atmosphere before the game during the game and unhappy game and the best way to do that if they hydrated and to take yourself a water breaking so you've been going around the country and promoting for the last three years or so. It's been great people that have been very responsive to it and people have enjoyed the entire day of now because ability to take a water break. And I think it's it's really big. The crowd loyal to to be able to do that. And I think it's a really great thing to be a part of this. Well I think the eagles are driving a lot of people drinking so mixing. Some water is definitely important. But I'll tell you what it. It wasn't all bad for the eagles last week. They go down seventeen to three to the giants. It's looking ugly for most of the game but they pull it out at the end after scoring and overtime Brian. What does a you win like that do for a teen in the late stages of the season that's trying to make a push? How does that impact their mentality? Well well first of all if eagle drive and people. What's a drink you had to have taken a lot of water breaks throughout that game? That's why the water breaks are so important because you wanna make it to the in other gang when the eagles are actually playing well in coming back actually go to win a football game so you had to take a lot of water break. Thank you so much for providing that but the eagles have been a heartbreak type of team. I certainly had believed that their second have team because they have not started fast in a lot of the games that they played this year You know a lot of people would say that there's no they they have no business of being down To The New York giants and we know that individual games. It's always going to be tough. lease changes happen all the time we saw that. In the first game of the season with the Sean Jackson against the Redskins when they got out to a quick lead in an early need In so I just think it's one of those things that are taking has to do a better job of starting much faster and offense you gotta get things going a little bit faster but it's just weird. This team seems to respond to emergency situations. We thought a couple of years ago with the dog mask. And you know all that goes along with that but also this year in games that they needed to play great in the fourth quarter and they won. They went out there and did that. which is you know? I just disappointed to see it because I think that they can play better. Who Four cores offensively and defensively? But it was good just to even get a win at home against teams. That was just not a very good football team coming into that game. It was good to see them. Get a winch. There's a lot of different things that they need to fix. Though absolutely and a lot of fans are going to be quick to point point that out but at the same time. I don't think that the fans are going to take it in the same way that these players are the emotional way that it happened because the fans will say yeah. Will you were to score favorites favorites. It shouldn't have been that close but when the eagles pull out a win in fashion like that do you think the players care all that much about who was against I. I do think they care about it. I think that once you get over The great feeling of winning which everyone enjoys. Especially when you've lost You know a few games in a row. Everyone enjoys the stealing of winning. And I think that's important but I think that once you get through the week you Kinda put things in perspective a little bit as well and like. Hey that's two in ten football team. But they were not very good and they had a quarterback they're having placed second season. They came in in carved us up a little bit in the first half Ah You know in in in your gets a decent that everybody in the NFL has taken advantage of. And so of course you love to win and unless that wears off then you get back down to reality and say okay. Here's all the mistakes that you've made and this is how we're GonNa fix those things and I think that's what they they try to figure out throughout the weekend. Hopefully it'll make those same mistakes against Washington team who play Green Bay very very tough last week. Who played in the first game of the season at this point is trying to play this woman role or a lot of different teams Malcolm Jenkins pointed out and he was talking about the positive demeanor throughout the game that he saw from Carson Wentz in the impact that had had especially on some of the younger players on the team and of course the younger players stepped up late stages of the game? How important is it to have that type of presence in the huddle with your quarterback quarterback? Well I mean I. I just think that anything means a calming presence at the quarterback position if he talked about you know the former quarterback nick posed a Lotta guys would have said about him that he's a calming presence in the face of adversity. And a Lotta guys did say that about him and they just like to say that. He presented themselves themselves on the most critical points of the game. And and so I think Carson they show that this weekend you know. Listen Ah I think the truth is a lot of guys we're not sure if Carson had had enough and I think a lot of media members when that store if coughing had that ability not so people have questioned His ability question is leadership ability in particular and I think he showed a little. Bit of that You know a giant. I think there's a lot more to see you know achieve firmly. Believe that there's a lot more to see. We see that. He has some of that in this makeup in order to be able to say that. That's cool you. Are you have to be able to do that consistently the thing. That carpet has to work. Excuse me for jumping in but we do have some quick bills to pay. We'll be right back with more for my chat with Brian Westbrook as we get to talk.

"We just need a little bit more in so our confidence was raised. We were able to breathe through the season it more. How many games that year we play? Maybe three quarters maybe maybe a half we were just beating teams by large amounts in. We had great chemistry. We you know so. A part of football is chemistry right and so when guys hang out together Party together do whatever together it makes a bond on so much trust jury and we had that bond that year and it was so special we would be hanging out Friday night Saturday all of them with all up Friday Saturday. The pre-game stuff Sunday nights out of the game Monday nights we will have a party and like we were just having a great time. We all saw relatively rich. I wasn't they were drinking drinking. Appreciate old guys. I mean so for us we just we join it and he was a big part of that and you know I. It was always tell people all the time. I wish as a young man I have the knowledge and ability. I have now to be able to say Yo- don you my man and T- You my man to we gotta find a way to work this out for not for you now for you but for us. 'cause we built a dynasty here and unfortunately I wasn't strong enough as a leader and I don't know that anybody was strong enough to bring those two back together because we've heard so we've had taught hair manzoni Riley Speaks adamantly about the culture and fairly how he loved it. 'CAUSE IT force before any resource in the grow up right and how different people in the locker room impacted him in one of the people who he had a lot of respect for an admiration vision for it was t- oh yeah and he said because you know here was this kid from Saginaw just trying to make the team and T. O.. Treated him like one of the guys. It was respectful to him in his ability. We've had multiple people on here T. O.. Name always somehow comes about in they. They never have anything back to say what they do say is he wanted. He just wanted to win. Yeah Donovan being the leader as you just mentioned what was the rift because from the outside looking in it was an episode or two on the sideline that always seemed to be bigger than what people say As far as like you know wants to win Donovan wanted the to win but from looking at looking at it like Donovan. Had his we about doing things te'o wanted things. His Way and one little spat on the sideline saying it was a cancerous. I lock or more of these to get along right you. I kinda. It's weird so when you're in the League you deal with ego to you talking about a superstar quarterback back in a superstar wide receiver in. It never was said WHO's team but you gotta also note. Donald was in Philadelphia for twelve thirteen years. That was his team ochre and not coming to a situation where it wasn't his team and I'm not saying that's the sole reason but he's coming to a different situation now in a way Donovan has to share the spotlight just a bit and I'm not saying that he couldn't do it. I think it was different in sometimes when things get a little weird and the T- goes through his his contract deal trying to get in my paying. What I heard was his? His is the remaining years on his salary. Guaranteed and he wanted to stay. Say Listen we need guy. which am I pay we? He did he the Guy Right but it you know at the same time. That wasn't done this place to say they're not you know what I'm saying. It was more like the way the we kind of did things like this. And I'M GONNA support you of course but that's what I'm that's a May above my pay grade is so personally. I blame Joe Banner. GM president for that because because he said the number may be in that situation we saw what he was able to bring. He was the best receiver in the game. You can't get better than that. Yeah can't get better than the best receiver. Why not pay the man in? So if I'm Joe Bad I'm like yeah we don't want to do it and I know we don't want to set the precedent where we got three years left on your contract and we pay you. But there's always a but let let you are the Lebron James of the NFL. Maybe wasn't Lebron. But dog won't go Leonard. He was somebody I mean about the league. At that time you had him. Kim Ojo Cinco should who else Randy Moss was him randy only discussion him and Randy. And so you don't get better than that and more importantly than you can't get better than we had never had anybody better than that and we never we never we. He's a hall of Famer is so why would you ever put them in a situation. Where now especially Selena volatile situation where you are the type of do that? He is in so joe. Banner put us all in a bad spot. You know again. I just wish that we all all were mature enough. We all were opened. I myself in that because I was both of their friends and I've talked to all all the time. Now wish that I had the ability to you. Say All right. Here's what you feel. Here's he feels list somehow. Bring it together because we're going to have to work together because when we work together we're going to be much more successful than you if you go to Buffalo in Dallas and all the other crazy stuff without you whereas was Trey Thomas and John Wayne and all this because what I what D- For me I grew up giants Fan Eh. Lead for the battles of Jon Runyan. Michael Sri Big Trade Thomas They seem like they were the pillars of that locker room. Just because they had plates along right They weren't very vocal they work. Yeah about the the combativeness and I I remember just being football I was just like man I know in the Pittsburgh Bert Locker Room. If if there was a rift between bannon somebody else Choy. PA MODEL has say one thing and goes away or Ohio's ward has say one thing he goes away. Where were those two guys so so those guys are particularly i? I love both of them and I still work with trae and see John all the time. You know during different stuff you do. They just weren't vocal guys at that point and I think a lot of people in the NFL are not. I would say ninety five ninety six percent of your team or just saying ain't saying nothing. They're trying to farm their own land and we want to make sure that I'm good so I got a job And so we talk as we have trotter we had we had a a bunch of guys on the team. It just it was a bad situation and we never had to deal with either. No one ever questioned Donovan. Just because he was the guy and everybody knew whether he was right or wrong. We just didn't question it. We may huddled up talked about it later. But we just didn't question sure in Tokyo kind of buck that system and now you have a locker room you have have half on Donovan. Saad half on side and unfortunately will we all didn't understand at that. Point is that everybody loses in that situation. Jason when you start picking size within a team it ain't US I on ownership and US versus the guys upstairs. Is US guests each other. You can't win splitting lock. Yeah you can't win into so listen I I like. I can't sit here and say it was to IOS dominance. I just know that together. We could have made some magic separately. We struggled struggled especially after I mean. We want to six games a year after that and so let's talk about where that started and where that kind of ended you know the first preseason game I think it was the first play from strangers I think it was at eighty or touchdown after judge back where mcnabb does a play action through the deep. I think it was posted. Te'o and then in the Sky Rights Te'o and then writes like the game over like like we got the shit. This is the first play of preseason so now the hype train is like Holy Cow. This team is going to be something special. They obviously have a big year to gets hurt against Dallas with. What's now known as the Horse? Collar tackle comes back for the Super Bowl. And you know Donovan had interesting. Like three hundred hundred fifty yards three touchdown three picks Unclear and we can talk about that in a second if he actually threw up at the end of the game but Teo comes back from a broken leg. Early is sleeping an oxygen. Oxygen Chambers comes back as nine catches one hundred. Twenty yards is unstoppable. That game is looked at as Philadelphia's hero whereas mcnabb boot at the drafts unsuccessful in terms of gain the team fully over the Hump and then his biggest moment potentially you you know throws up and you know next year you have t o and dry. Don't sit up looking for a contract so the whole rollercoaster of it. All I think is important for contacts but we got to ask ask did he throw up I I don't remember that's how long ago I think I think that I really I really don't remember but I maybe I don't know if you're tired in the middle of the game he might. I don't know I don't remember but proceeded needed as nervous. I don't think it was in Jacksonville. February is in Jackson. I think you also gotta understand. It wasn't happening because Jacksonville as a super bowl. Oh city sucks because you think you're going to Miami like South Georgia and I'm telling everybody bring in shorts and t shirts and your. Everyone needs coats in jeans anes I it was. It was bad but I am probably the biggest game of your life when you're playing to exhaustion and again I'm not trying to give excuse. I'm just just trying to give a factual background here if you run you. Don't all the different things that Donald was doing carrying a football team. I can understand someone throwing up. If if there is Ostad I think Donald Record saying he hasn't throw he didn't throw up so did Arado with that but I can also understand why you threw up if that was the case but you know Oh man it happens and I don't think I think there's always been a negative side of it all. He threw him because he was scared. He was because he was tired or whatever he's out there. China win a dog on the biggest football game of his career so even if he did throw up. I'm like yeah and the next. He completed a pass on the next play. We go down to score so through. So what if he did I. Didn't you know listen. He if let's say he did per web that was after the three doggone interceptions he threw them on it. Just you know he just. We didn't play good as a team. We couldn't establish run. They did a great job. The Patriots give a building picket fence. Not Establishing a run to yoga at all but nobody else did and really the key to our game apetit. Oh got her. So te'o got hurt week. Thirteen fourteen something like that. The key to our victories is running the football. Get the ball to the tight ends and we went away from that so we played week. Fourteen fifteen sixteen sixteen seventeen because to the playoffs. And we're winning because we're running the football ball and we're throwing the ball to the time is now go to the Super Bowl. Am I paying a bill. Belichick said okay. This is what we're going to stop. We're going to try to stop the run and we ain't going allow Kubota Chad Lewis. A bunch actually was hurt to our tightness a bunch and so you know Te'o got off. He played well on a broken leg. Yeah which nobody thought he was going to be able to play. He was in literally. He probably hadn't practiced in a month and a half but he came out one day was running around and we'd like oh he superman and he sleep just like sleeping in hyperbaric chamber. He has every body massage therapist. Every trainer they're just helping them to be ready ready for game it to me for him to be able to play like that with screws and plates in his leg. That was amazing. And you know we just. We didn't have enough. We've made too many mistakes against against that team in the Super Bowl Super Bowl against the Patriots. If you make mistakes you can't win. And they were that good back there now. Today's Patriots team is different but back then they were that good offensively and defensively to capitalize on every mistake. We made three intercepts. I think we had a fumble as as well and we lost about three points so I mean I mean. I don't WanNa add in our practices so there's no need to sugar coat that I think that's the real truth. We lost to a better team that day. A lot has been made out of it from that game but also his whole career. You played almost your whole career under him. Andy Reid and clock management. What do you think about that? One of the guys in the huddle think about that. He's he's been criticized often as not being able to use timeouts correctly nine matching the clock correct with other. Hurry up some spikes and things like that. What do you think about Andy? Reed's clock management. You know I'll tell you. See this on this world day. Ain't nobody perfect right and so I think that we have a butter coaches thirty two coaches in the NFL right now. Some are good at Offense Defense Special Tamed. To Me Andy. Reid is a ninety five percent coach..

"Running back Brian West Surf and turf. PODCAST WE'VE GOT Brian Westbrook Philadelphia Eagle Great Pro Bowler for first team. All pro. Over two thousand yards from scrimmage a single season. Brian scored a super bowl touchdown. The Super Bowl Brian Westbrook. I wish I can add to that. Super Bowl winner variously we can say very close we had ranked represent that very close. We're going to get to that. We're going to start from beginning like we always do. You grew up in Hyattsville Maryland or just talking right before your from the DNB NBA area. But you went to Villanova. What was the Tore it up at Villanova you Had the NCAA record with over ninety. Five hundred all purpose yards. What Kinda made you choose Villanova over other schools with their other offers or what made you go there you know? It's funny because I tell the story of bus to a lot of different kids because they all the looking for inspiration. I five nine heck did you make it in the NFL. But you played big Y- scat back. Try and when I came into the a lot of people were like. Listen this is what you're GonNa do and I'll tell you about that a little bit later but in high school I went to high school to demand that one of the best high schools culture quite honestly in while they're my freshman year. I didn't even play my on the team. I didn't play one play. Didn't play special teams offense or defense they wouldn't allow me on the field The just wasn't that good. I was too small. It was just like Dang playing so Tell people all the time my freshman year I didn't play at all in the playing basketball The my sophomore year a plate of bunch. The guy that was in front of me ended up getting academic trouble and then I started and then you know just like me in the League once you get that opportunity the gun is ever give it back. And so all American my junior year in going into my senior year While working out practicing this tour macy A C L Ninety six which is if seemed like forever ago twenty three years ago now I tore my acl and so when you're being recruited by all the Big Schools Oklahoma Florida State Miami. All these big schools were recruited me at the time. And when you tell your age yeah they're like yeah because remember. Today is a six seven month muff injury back then. It was a twelve month injury. So you're out there. You're out in the team. They didn't understand the rehab process. So all those big schools that wanted me to come. They are originally. They were like. Yeah we we only want you know more you know saying so really at the end of the day torme August I I just put brace on and played. Football played into playing five games or so in your senior years a year. We are trying to get You know your your your highlight tape. You're trying it gets schools can took amid things like that and I had five games of highways like tape like a minute long. Everyone knows is like ten minutes. Long mine was like a minute. I just didn't have ebbing so I play basketball game with a knee. Brace on and one day. The coaches like Yo Villanova's here to come see play and so I'm like does wow fan you know biggies basketball big back. In the time Villanova is football was Atlantic ten right. They were landing time and so they were biggies. I'm thinking he's coming to see Jimmy play. He go play basketball thinking. I'm going to get a basketball scholarship. Because like you out of your mind. Like crazy like their big coal. Yeah Albert thank you. I'll go play football right and so at that. We know the football team to be honest with you go there and was able to play well. poor view years. All American high. You know Walter Payton Award winner so I I did well in college I wish they I wish we can pull up. Clips of your highlight tape coming out of college. He's He'd be very humble about it. Brian Westbrook was a flat-out dog. Like I went to Hofstra I went to Hofstra. Had I just want to let it Ten Championship before I got it right there in a one and so my senior year when my freshman year excuse me Villanova Verse Hofstra hop sure had a really good defense d. line and then we had a bunch of guys who were supposed to go to the league and I remember Talk to one Komo when you're new to a team you just don't know who's who and whatever and one of my buddies is like Meh. Villanova has his running back called frying westbrook and he's a flat flat out animal. We're about to get the shit beat out of us and I'm like being teamer hail no this after because we're all mixed up from guys from Florida you know in New York and Maryland. I'm like we about life out here at Hofstra him by. I don't know I'm talking like them freshman. I've been a teamster years and I remember standing there watching you play and we cannot stop. There was nothing I mean. There's loading the box. The corners were in the box. I mean he was. It was bad adding you Taurus. Apart now and that was my first kind of welcome to college football watching you just ripped through hostile and I appreciate the hostile. Always tough for us up here a few times and you guys has some really good players and we did really good but she made us look like a Goddamn. JV team that day. Well yeah things worked out. Well just you know just when when you go to. College is all about progressing getting better little by little really as you try to jump into the league if you are able to develop your entire gang no matter how big you are whatever your size is it as a running back you know I can pass block. I can run the ball inside and outside efficiently and and catch the ball out of the backfield. Those are all the things you need to be able to do. And in some places you might. I might have went to Miami. They may have turned me into a cornerback. Might have went to Florida state. They would allow me to play running back but I would just running the football downhill which is only really for me a small part of what I did and so luckily the good part for me of going to Villanova was that I was able to develop develop my entire game because they need to play wide receiver sometime they needed me to play special teams and run the football and do a lot of different things and also was able to learn. Okay this is with defense is due to stop good wide receiver. This is our defenses. Play cover to cover four and you start to understand those things you put those pieces together. Now you take that knowledge. College was decent athletic ability. You go to the NFL and you allow a team to use data and teams are like. Wow you didn't understand. I didn't know that you understand this and that you can do that. And now you kind of get wild by which to me was a great thing. I went to a situation where it was a west. Coast offense with Andy Reid and they wanted to throw the ball to the running back. They they wanted to get the ball outside of the edge. Get your money back into space and to me. That was like years. It's my ears. This is exactly what I wanted to do. I remember I was missing his earlier. I ah one of the reasons why I came back my senior in college because I wasn't going to come back. I had you know so in college after your sophomore year. You can go through this process and they can tell you okay okay. We're about you're going to be drafted. So there's like draft between the third round Blah. I'm GonNa go back then. Me and my dad are watching the senior bowl all the biggest and best seniors in the country. I'm like I WANNA play. I WANNA play against those guys that just proved to myself. I can do it and so I go there that week. Were practising all week now. I think we had a Seattle Seahawks this coaching staff. And I'll never forget me your I know when they're everyone's from big schools. I know nobody and I'm just outrageous competing doing my thing and so the the day of the game two minutes before we walk out stunt Mitch. I'll never forget this conversation. I abused as s fuel. My entire creeks. I have a good feeling about that man as a coach but I mean he's goes for all all time. I'm sure he's a good coach. I I didn't love this moment. Like yeah so you're only going to play almost special teams. We're not GONNA put you in you. We may play you a little bit on third down not excuse me. This is All Star game now. This is just telling you this. This is what he said. He's going to do that because he's only want to see you doing that. And I'm like we'll stop this literally two minutes before the on my stomach all-star Game Jonathan Wills is there from Stayed Alabel bets as they were got drafted by the redskins. Lamar Gordon was there. I'm like yeah I hear what you're saying Eh. But this is the All Star game. Let me go look at the NBA. All Star game not. Everybody don't pay the same amount of minutes but you're going to get a good chuck time right and so I'm like I wasn't cool with that and I ended up having to return punts play third down but that was something that that eight me up on the inside and that was something that really carried throughout my whole career so every time we play Washington Aaron in Arizona was dumped mentioned. Was there which I've talked to me for the gambling. Nah I'm out. I'm out on the conversation but you know that's for small guys like me really for small Oskoui guys even for for some of the best kids in a country. You just need a little something a little chip on your shoulder to be like all right. Well if you don't believe me then everybody don't believe in me and I'm gone out there. Bless your ass just to show one hundred percent and so that was kind of been my motivation really throughout my career going into that. NFL draft in two thousand and two. You know they have the draft draft committee basically it does kind of give you a rough estimate where you're going to land. Where did you think you were going to go? Did you have any good interviews. The teens there any promises for my owners. GM's that you know if you here at this point we're going to take you. You know the horror part about the draft processes that they always consider what school you go to. They want to say. Well you went to a smaller school you just went one Aa you you dominate there. But you you wouldn't have done that at another school year. And so they're always more apt to lean toward us. Jonathan Wells as an example. He went to Ohio. Oh state yeah good good running back and he was big. He was strong. He wasn't fast but he didn't really do much in the NFL. He ended up getting drafted before for me as well but they all love them. They all thought he was the next best thing to compare them to the bus. And so what would happen in the League was. We had a shift. We had a shift of. Would you want your running back to Marshall kind of started it and it was more like oh we are running back to be able to run. We also WANNA use them in a mismatch to be able to catch the ball before before they went nickel and dime every possession like they do now. There were three linebackers in the box of four down line. That's what it was and now if you could get a running back in space against that defense so you got one on one versus a linebacker. Now you've got an advantage that's what you're looking for and so you know at the process because of the time period that we're in nobody wanted to small small five nine two hundred and ten pounds. Nobody wanted that because they didn't fit into the.

"To the models in stock or participate participating markets check drizzly for home delivery against brought to you by new Amsterdam Vodka. The official vodka bars sports. I don't know any liquor store. That doesn't carry pink Whitney Right now. It's sold over. A million bottles is very popular and also very tasty. We talked about this show Pink Whitney Ice Club Soda Cement Cement Excellent Excellent drink highest recommendations from the surface of podcast and everyone parcells sports a pamper pink. Whitney's today they don't have it ask for it In stock by I name now Willie this past weekend in the NFL. We had a tale of two cities. If you will the best of times the worst times With kicking so as far as he you know he hasn't finished playing so you can't really great his full career. We've seen guys like inventory. who was once a reliable y.`all kicker kind of fall off at the I think he's like forty seven? He's a very old kicker adjusted. Tucker Percentage Wise Statistic wise is the greatest of all talk He won the game against the San Francisco. Forty niners a ten and one team going in with a fifty yard field goal in a rainy day in Baltimore and it was a no doubter. The Ravens got it into his range and he kicked a fifty yard field goal. No problem the the Patriots. Meanwhile they're kicker Stephen Gostkowski hurt early this year and have gone through a cycle of kicker nick folk now Kai forbath just missed an extra point in a game against the Texans and they let him go so they're going to bring on their fourth kicker of the season Willie as a fan. What does what type of confidence does it bring to a team? When you have a kicker that you know is money the bucks of Stroh with this for a while? I think they've got a guy now and Matt engagement eh eighty percent which is terrific but and I have full confidence at him so I am you know whenever we get in range of fifty five my we had at least three here but really what is that. What's that feeling for an offense at a player? When you have a kicker no is money and then on the other side how do you feel when you have a kicker? That's so so so we'll put a lot of pressure on often. It's right when you have a ticket who's you know we Anywhere on the field. He can put it through the uprights that also propels offenses sometimes. Sometimes listen you gotta give you against a good defense and most defenses some defenses. Have that kind of model bend. But don't break so you have ticket on. You can just get him and his reign. He can knock it through and get three and you're able to score today strong and then you maybe starting at number three on the board now. It's all about momentum. Aluminium that's all about propelling your offense staying alive 'cause sometimes you know if your defense is fighting his tail off and they just need to stay. Stay in the hunt while having a fuego guy. I haven't kicker who can really keep Keep your team in shooting and shooting range. As far as winning the game you know that goes a long way and lot of times. Kickers man you you know we talk about the personality who they are and what they mean to the locker room allow. These guys are on their own or some of these guys are You know they work differently I I was fortunate to play with Nick. Foles patriots just released focus misfold. Excuse me And it was great. Mary talk about a guy who really believed in his craft. Work hard was one of the guys And we we rallied behind. You always wanted on to see nick do good. I also play with Jeffrey Cormack Ligon for the Pittsburgh steelers teams out of his skull. But he talked about another guy who you know the type of Type of field the steelers Adams choppy was lumpy. At times. You know he was a special kick him because he was successful in that building. And he's sessile on fields that were Kinda just like our so figures are dinner `Nigma south they're special But when you have a guy who can get it done anywhere on the field it just it boosters your level of confidence as now you have a guy who like man shit we gotta score as we don't know if this guy can do it. That's extra pressure on the quarterback as extra pressure on the team and the head coach. The second guessed himself on certain decision. Lana field especially during a situation. Football so Having a great kicker having to kick that's automatic needs the world till ballclub especially teams. Plays a big part especially those. Is there ever a situation where you guys are on like you know whatever the forty five yard yard line the forty yard line unite all right. We just need to get it to whatever the thirty five yard line to set up a fifty three or like we just need yet. That thirty five thirty seven do you guys talk about that. The huddle Not at Eddie. That's more of a gain time thing I think what we do talk about is listen. We score loading. We don't score. We have this guide that can really you know. Get us on the board. Let's get on the board and instead of having a conversational. Additional man is this guy can't make shit. You know what I mean Indianapolis in whole early I think tickers now going through. 'cause I'm looking at it right now. Chases chases the league wide final goals says rate this season a seventy nine point nine percent down significantly from last season. Eighty four point seven percent. So is it Goddamn epidemic going on right now in so where do we. Why let let's to decrease? She talked about Adam. Terry I mean he kind of has an excuse. He's forty six revolt. You know somebody junkers. Don't why why why aren't Exa- successful as as they handed. So it's it's a if the compensation to have I don't know why are we at the state. Why are we here at this point? Aren't you so better than fell right. Now Yeah it certainly is a problem you know. That's a pretty stark drop. That's almost five percent which is shocking for sure. I think it does speak to do a lot of the league.

"Beverly Stephen J a big week in the NFL We have a great interview today with Eagle Legend. Brian Westbrook multiple time pro bowler first team pro. Twenty two thousand seven had head over to two thousand eight hundred scrimmage that you're unbelievable career fantastic player great interview some really fun topics but first we want to talk about some big news in the NFL. Willie the Carolina Panthers have fired their head. Coach Ron Rivera He had been with the team. I believe since twenty seven of a very long time What is next for Ron Rivera? Or I think you have to you know. It's touching gradually anybody especially they wanNA fire but I think around there In our retirement on his podcast we talk about culture. Here's able to bring a really good man. Really get coaches really good players and really accomplished a lot What he's able to do Cam Newton his personality in how you handle them I thank you talk about. You know we're really hurt him. You know there's his reports that David David Tepper. A taper is even The owner of the Carolina Panthers Fellay key it was. It's time for him to go. You lost to Atlanta this week. Any in it was it was. It was obvious that this ball club really was kinda going through it. They need a new chain show. I think rahm aware of used to see a few is to say what's next for him. I could really launch the giants Organization that rise arises selves on China. You know button up in to the point. Football is all that matters you know they got rid of LBJ. Because all the hysterics canal the personalities they guy was really kind of bringing in a really shaped organization in HAB guys In line. That's what Robert Loose. It should be interesting. He does have that history with the GM Dave gettleman. They're both in Carolina from two thousand thirteen to twenty seventeen. The giants is certainly interesting opening. My fear with the giants would be that. He is a defensive coach. And you have a young quarterback you have to mold so any openings I look at that would be my thought like with potentially Jacksonville. You've got Gardner Minhsiu who you'd want to grow up in that system. So do you WANNA get a defensive head coach in opening that I would look at potentially is the Atlanta Falcons. Who currently have a defensive coach and Dan Quinn who most likely will be? We'll be like Oh. At at the end of the season the falcons have underperformed again with seemingly at all star Roster Dan Quinn had the player support for sure But the product on the field. Just isn't there and with Matt Ryan quarterback. You've got a quarterback who can kind of I don't want to say Coach the offense as well but he can lead the offense of room. He doesn't necessarily need All that tutelage like a young quarterback a gardener insurer Dale Jones could potentially Another Potential eighty spot could be the Dallas Cowboys We'll see what happens with Jason Carrot. Cherry Jones said Something along the winds up yesterday that I can definitely see Jason Garrett coaching in the NFL next year that is a very vague statement that he should be coaching NFL next year. Because he's the current coach the cowboys but that kind of leads you to believe that he will be let go one other potential landing spot I could see for him is his former home. The Chicago bears. He was the defensive coordinator of that superbowl caliber defense He left in two thousand six and things were still pretty good but not quite the same after he left he played there for a player from nineteen eighty. Four tonight seventy two. So he's one of the eighty five bears. Do the bears make a move with matinee. He's really underperformed. Last after winning coach the last year they got Mitchell. Trubisky under center Is He really. You know the direction they wanna go that would also be another questionable like do you WanNa really put a defensive mind around under this young First Round quarterback if they even have him as a quarterback. I would put that as a potential destination if I was a bears fan. My My antennas up. Yeah also I think I kind of went through this. Oh Rex guilty Muslim. Rex left fired from the jets I think he cared a lot a lot of bags ultimately. He moved onto the buffalo bills. But I don't think gee took enough time to himself kind of re evaluate himself as coach and and everything that he was able to do You know obviously REX's father buddy aren't played with the jets not playing just coast jets so there was there was a intimately shipping. There is a bloodline there Log On to Chicago opposites. You just mentioned sounds great. Sounds like a a shoe but also look at what rex went through. I think sometimes when you're a head coach and you emotionally invested. I mean this guy at the most wins in organization You know he was coach of the year. I mean he the accomplishments he's able to trying to really get this club to be a respectable outfit. Now where does he stand for the motion standpoint. Where's his head at the? Does he feel you like this was not as fall. And so I I really believe for coaches kind of take your next job. Sometimes they don't have a choice. The table the offers on the table and they ought to be able to move. I'm always curious about how our coach response after leaving And and another team like the current Barnum Carolina Panthers so I watch wrecks goats. I watch wrecks kind of land in Buffalo and Seeing things going to be on the up and up then he kinda. He went to a lot especially with his coach. Staff is Muslims coach staff that they brought within the buffalo was with the jets and we weren't winning And so I think sometimes reroute reevaluating. Your system your coach. Just how you approach I think about things sometimes is in order before you take on another to think. It's always hard to say because I think it was depressed shop Ferguson. We were talking about it when He. He talked about rex a similar sentiment. T like he didn't really get to learn from his mistakes and that's why he was a little bit worried about Adam Gays coaching the jets because he just came from a job. So it's not like you're being punished for doing something wrong because you're immediately getting another job You know I can speak from experience Lovey Smith the the head coach of the bears got fired. After ten and six season in the long run there he took a year off came to Tampa went to and fourteen. So I don't think there's a ton of I I think it's honestly a case by case thing and coach by coach I do think Ron Rivera is a very good head coach and kind of a culture changer. So I've a team is looking for that. Like to steady their ship. I think that Ron Rivera would be great choice in all kinds of change when Jerry. Richardson the owner. Who had that sexual assault scandal Or sexual harassment. I went stable was forced out of Carolina and sold the team and now the new owner wants to kind of bring in his guys and have it kind of be his operation which is his his right as an owner. All right so moving along this next part of the interview the show is brought to you by new Amsterdam Vodka and the Pink Whitney Parcel Ursel. Sports teamed up with New Hampshire Vodka to create our signage our signature. Drink the pink. Whitney create about spending chocolates crew Ryan Whitney the namesake we are Ra Biz Biz. Nasty Grenell's a great team there A seriously smooth vodka infused with fresh pink lemonade flavor..

I think it's way too early to even consider if if if I if I had in my way I would go Kansas City in the eagles but I think there so that that's right. There's so many things that can happen. Throughout the season is just so hard to tell I mean with injuries and teams. He's playing well homecourt advantage and things like that. I you know I it just hard to tell at this point but if I had if I had in my way I would go Kansas City in versus the eagles and I of course I have the eagles winning the perfect Brian. I'll say that we've reached an interesting time in the world buddy. That's all we got. I hope you enjoy your stay in Cleveland. I am definitely going to be excited to get on the road. Brian Westbrook talking to people again. Brian Westbrook is next. I Kevin Talks Brian Westbrook about a ton of things how the currently is working just the overall state of the position. I please enjoy Kevin O'Brien. Westbrook joined now by a guy who really foreshadowed how the modern running back act place in the N._F._l.. A former all pro eagles legend Eagles Hall of Famer Brian Westbrook Brian. What's going on right now that much getting ready endowed incidence football scene incited <hes>? They're trying to cancel finally starting you here on behalf fan duel. We'll get to that in a minute. I WANNA I start with the eagles because I feel like when you look at the N._F._C. East. There's a lot of intrigue. They're the eagles how the pretty stacked roster adding guys like me Jackson. Carson Wentz returns just to health. You Have Dallas that division. You have a lot of stacked N._F._C.. Teams were essentially all in. Where do you see the Eagles Brian on the pecking order of N._F._C. Contenders? What am I think when you bring back a guy like Carson Wentz win the healthy m._v._p.? Candidate you add John Jackson and <hes> to receiving core that that includes Zach or Alshon Jeffery in your offense online. It's better and has some <hes> some some players that have done well in the N._F._l.. For Very Long Time then you know some youth in there with Mile Sanders young running back out of Penn state this year and of course Jordan Howard coming over from Chicago either win owed head <hes> that I love role it's read opportunity that they had a youth as well as older guys better leadership on offense that <hes> that have been explosive in the past and that if Carson wentz healthy <hes> certainly is one of the better off the leak and maybe the ball you add Maliki Jackson to a front four this already pretty good with Cox leading the way there and look at their Derek Barnett coming off the injury but when when healthy last season he played very well and then you look get that rounded at the middle linebacker spotting Jenkins arriving Macao the back in <hes> to me that is a Ross what they want to potential roster that has the ability to to play well against anything in the N._F._l.. But just like all all thirty two teams <hes> it's all potential at this point. Everybody looks good..

"And I think Doug is Ethan job with the guy gather get enough prepared to play. Now. This this latter part the second half of the season. It's going to be incumbent on death. Make sure that everybody's ready every single game. And not only do they start fast, but they've been a strong. And I think we look at some of the games in in the first half of the season. They haven't started fast and they did finish strong in. So Doug has make sure there's peeing ready everything or game. Because no one's coming out in laying down for the eagles coming out and saying, you know, we're gonna take it easy on them. And we're just going out there and play they're the defending Super Bowl champions. And they have to come out and beat the pair for battle every single. Yeah. The crown is definitely heavy. And speaking of the crown I wanna give you one last chance before I let you go to let everyone know how they can support the crown Royal purple back project, and I want to thank you again for stopping into to chat with us. Yeah. I I think it's important that, you know, of course, we all want to support our better, we all wanna be there for active service members. And now crown Royal has introduced something very important in near to all of us being able to support an active service members. And if you bring some personal care items down to the stadium this week found it will be there to fill those icon, a crown Royal bag full of those personal care item in send them over to Iraq or service member overseas. And and to me there's no better initiative. There's no better thing going on in the NFL right now and being able to help serve and help our service members with personal care, then that's really impressive. And I'm glad that to be a part of such a great initiative by Royal Brian. Thank you for for China with me, man. I really appreciate it. Hope you have a great day and good luck with everything. Okay. It seems mart as a show about people doing things that for some reason or another seems smarter at the time. Those things might include doing a little cocaine driving a bike up a mountain or I don't know maybe racing one hundred miles per hour across the country in the middle of the night with no one's permission or even stealing a bat from an empires room in a major league baseball park. Check it out. And if you like it tell a friend, I'm Spencer hall, don't do anything smart.

"I am your host Michael kissed. And I am excited to present to you the second time on this network since our relaunched that we have an episode featuring a former Philadelphia Eagles legend this time. It is Brian Westbrook. I don't have to explain to you who that is one of my favorite all time. Eagles one of the most exciting running backs that I've seen in my lifetime, and he stopped by to talk to me about something very important to him, which is his partnership with the crown Royal purple bag project, and look I love crown Royal I like securing bags I very much enjoyed projects, but put all that together. And you've got an awesome effort to help veterans and active duty service members. So check this out support the 'cause we talk a little eagles too as we are going full. Steam ahead into Dallas week. Also look out for a flood of shows coming your way to cover this matchup with the Cowboys from. Every angle imaginable. But for now, let's kick it over to my conversation with eagles legend, Brian Westbrook. Oh, awesome. Brian. How you doing brother? Don't what am I doing real? Well, so we'll get right into it Brian. So I'd always to what's your time. I know you're a busy man in your and you're doing a lot of stuff here before we talk about some eagles stuff. I wanted to give you a moment to talk about something outside of the lines that you've taken a big interest in and it has to do with helping veterans and active duty servicemembers. So please take your time and let our listeners know about the crown Royal purple bag project, we call Royal they introduced them. I think is really cool especially with Veterans Day coming up this Sunday, they introduced the purple bag Gajic. And basically, we're gonna take that. I comic fell Royal purple bag and had them all down to the stadium over the bite. All of our eagles fans and Buser who are Lincoln financial field. Healed and fight them to bring personal care items that they would like to ship over to our active military service members overseas, it could be not can be deodorant. It can be lotion whatever they want to ship over there with putting in those bags, and we'll send it overseas to a military live in. It's a it's a great cost. Certainly service members some of our most members of our community, and we want to support them in every way, we can and Royal as on a great job of starting initiative to make sure that the thought about especially Veterans Day where can people find more information on how to support this cause online? But I'm sure it's on your website. But also that there'd be down at the stadium. This week probably will be if they this week and have an opportunity to in all the same. So that'd be right. They're playing you all the fantasy AM and that there has been issued a brain those personal care items in dropping market overseas to our military. Iceland sounds great. So brian..

"Sister commercial, right? I mean, I didn't notice it. I didn't notice the sentences. I think we finally have maybe shaken free. The seven sisters all sensors blown games defense is blown game special teams has done nothing as an eagles fan. Convinced me how this is a good team again. Please ward is yours. Well, the convincing is in the roster taken if they can get their act together. We know there's talent here they're going to have to go on a run L. And I mean, you know, like nine ten games and in order to do that you gotta get to nine wins. They're going to get where they want to be. I mean, they can still get where they want to be like I said we were two and three in two thousand and three and we ended up hosting the NFC championship game. Right. It is doable. But we went on that nine game run because we went up to New York, and Brian Westbrook. Had that punt return, and it served sort of as a catalyst to propel that team forward. We need that type of catalyst game against the same team. The giants this week. Hey showed up. And this message. I I hear you sound like someone calling from down the stadium. You're not feeling the feeling we have when Carson went down last year. You know, that feeling that the season's going down the drain? Yeah. I have that feeling right now. Now, I had a totally different feeling. I did I had a totally totally.
