"There is rain there as well in northern Virginia in parts of Prince William County, Lake Ridge area as well to get some rain, and an area east of Centerville. So, not quite drying out fully yet, but we're certainly working on it. Let's talk about those power outages in the area. Dominion Energy appears to be the busiest utility in our region with the most outages tonight. About 15 ,000 homes and businesses are still out in Fairfax County, while nearly 6 ,000 are in the dark in Loudoun County. Meanwhile, are 6 out in Fauquier County, 2 ,000 homes and businesses out in Alexandria, and several hundreds in the dark across Stafford County, Prince William, and Fairfax City. And in Maryland, PEPCO crews are responding to outages in Prince George's County, where about 400 homes and businesses are out. The national view is that states 11 suffered with these storms. We have about a million outages altogether when you count them all up. Well, back to our area in Fairfax County. Fire crews are out dealing with fallen trees and power lines, so what should you do if there's damage around your home? We encourage everyone to be very careful as they start going out again. You know, probably it's a good idea to wait 15 to 30 minutes after the storms leave to venture out. And then if you're assessing your home, if you see any sparks, anything that is involving electricity or wires around your home to call 9 -1 -1. Better safe than sorry. That's Fairfax County Fire Spokesperson Ashley Hildebrandt. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Perringer says first responders were busy earlier in the evening during the storms, but things have calmed down a bit since. It was quite busy there for a while. Our communications went on condition red, which is due to the call volume. We were probably dispatching about a call every minute or two for about an hour or so, but most of those incidents were for wires down, a few trees down, a few car wrecks and then some lightning strikes. No significant fires that I'm aware of, no significant injuries, but we did have some isolated power outages and some roadblocks due to some trees down. Montgomery County Fire spokesperson Pete Peeringer. All these powerful storms have forced the cancellation hundreds of of flights at Reagan National Dulles and BWI Marshall. Reagan National Airport is reporting 54 cancelled flights. Meanwhile at BWI Marshall, about 170 flights in and out of the airport are cancelled so far. At Dulles International we're dealing with just under a hundred cancellations. Air travelers need to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport or just as you drive to pick someone up. If you haven't already done so it might help if you downloaded the app of the airline that you booked to fly. Using the app makes easier it to track any delays or cancellations. CBS News travel editor Peter Greenberg points out the summer is already filled with airline flight challenges. Forgetting this weather the airlines have ridiculously over scheduled their flights and so even without the weather you're having a problem. But most airlines will rebook you their on next flight as long as seats are available. If your flight is canceled and you choose to cancel your trip you are entitled to a refund even for non -refundable tickets. Dick Iuliano WTOP News. "That's obviously great. Advice for assistant coaches everyone. But you've had why especially in our dsp class so much goodbye it was. I mean i was taking notes furiously because obviously it's it's what i'm doing the an assistant coach and it's something where i just think that you would do had gone into detail about the difference between assistant coach and head coach. Why and kind of the role. It's not so much a whole different level. It's just not different kind of job. I can talk about that in terms. He talked a little about that. And the difference between the two as opposed to seeing it as a progression. It's more so typically different things right. I mean your your head. If you're an assistant you gotta understand. Really what your head. Coach is going through Start to season. He's trying to establish parameters in like barriers and rules for his team. Some coaches have a lot some have a little bit. There's they're still going through it but they wanna run their system. You're you want to help them. You wanna make their life better. You don't wanna make it worse. It's it's it's really easy for an assistant to make a head. Coach is like difficult one by like. You finally get the job and you finally get the coach and you get on the bench. You feel like you want to start working officials. I know one thing never work officials as an assistant that problem myself but i know you know ultimately you wanna let the head coach to it. Because he's has his sister he wants to work it and you could mess that up for him and you know you just want to be the guy that's not over coaching. You know nowadays assisted. You like take him out coats. Get him out. He's making a mistake especially in high school or even in younger or for coaching younger kids in college. They need some room. That coach is gonna decide. That room is when a head coach as assistance constantly. Talking about subbing. He may be a friend of yours..

"It's something to not a lot of people understand or know how to coach one hundred percent can can you talk about the game because it's somebody i've heard of before but being a member of gen z. Twenty years now some kind of all kind of forgotten about all this new research it when we get off because you'd be surprised at the lake. The cpa was the oldest league in the country for a long time. Do yourself a favor and look back at the rosters of some of these teams. They're all nba players. And so when you think about the g. league now it's for development for younger players. There's massive talent with huge upside. The cba was spilled with nba vets with with experience. I mean the final season. That i coach in. I had dickey simpkins on my team guy who had nba championships with the bulls players that all had nba experienced in know. And these were teams that if you equate them from those teams to the g. League teams now is they. They would be better able to win a pro game than the young kids now but it's a whole different story back then it was like what would that be like all for one like so. If you like the player from another team when the season ends you could just go. If you could get him you could do a better job him. More money give better city. You could still blares from anyone so it was super competitive and it was really really fun league because the competition was through. The roof thing is incredible far listeners. We're talking about the continental basketball association. Not the not the chinese bass up when you get a chance you'll be surprised that one the longevity of the league. I mean kobe. Carl who. I work for now his dad started. Cba phil jackson started in cba. This was not like you know rec league..

How much money do you need to be happy?
"Time and time again. Research has shown that not on Lee You need a finite amount of money to be happy, but that prioritizing things like friendships, hobbies and family may actually lead to long term. Well being. Reporter Brian Walsh, it Milly has a look at some of the studies. Briana, What are we learning? Well, I think that what everybody knows is that Americans are pressed for time right now. And the pressure that you don't have enough time to complete. What you want to do is leading to a lot of unhappiness. So that was kind of the overall scene that I found from the article and the really most important muscle. That I learned from the study published in 2018 in nature, human behavior that sounds that the ideal salary for life satisfaction is $105,000 a year. Not for an individual or a family it would run for it would be $210,000 a year, but basically it found that if you make less than that, you struggled to pay for loans. You struggle the paper based that kind of life necessities. And if you make more than that, You are often working harder and spending less time at home, Speaking with Freon Walsh control contributor at Millie, and she's written a piece entitled Here's Exactly How to Spend your Money if you Want to be happier. About the value of time and there also, I think positive, people said they were kind of more happy when they were focused on hobbies and friendships. Yes, exactly so that people who they this is a study that just studied 1000 recent college graduates and some of these recent college graduate chose careers. That were more intrinsically motivated, meaning that they would spend a little bit of their week working. But they had a lot more free time. And then some of the recent college graduates chose careers that were extra sickly motivated, so they were making a lot of money on, you know, hypothetically saving money, but it's something that the people that shows the careers that were left high pressure and left high stress often. On prioritize things like friendship. Andre Spending time on Hobby is a lot more, and that generally leads to more kind of long term feelings of satisfaction and happiness about the impact of just to a little bit of savings. Yeah, that was really interesting. You know, Atsu beginning of the pandemic, we found that a lot of Americans did not have that three months of emergency. Fabian's only 23% of Americans. There's a lot of talk about how you know Americans or not. I'm not really been able to say then that leads to a lot of Anxiety, especially the bigness of pandemic when everything shut down. But in 2017 researchers with the Urban Institute on the families that had even a little of $250 saved Avoided. Ah lot of things like being evicted, missing belt payments, applying for payday loans that have long term really negative financial consequences. So this idea that you have to have the reruns of emergency savings is great. The reality is that most people don't have that much money on. Moreover, you might not even really need that much money in order to kind of feel a sense of safety on kind of happiness in your daily life and finish up with that study about how giving away money makes us feel good. Yeah. I mean, I think that's pretty obvious. You know, if you walk that somebody you know who's asking for a dollar on the street, you feel a little bit better if you give away that dollar, as opposed to just kind of ignoring it. Um, well, if you have a friend who's going through something really rough, buying them a coffee feels really good. So these researchers 2017 at the University of Dork gave 50 people $100 and told them to give it away over the course of four weeks. Um, excuse me. Half of them are instructed to keep the money on. Half of them were instructed Tonto give it away, and the people who gave it away reported much higher levels of satisfaction and happiness. S so the lesson is that you don't need to be like a philanthropist like just basis and feel good giving away money. You could give away that pocket change or whatever. And it really does kind of lead to similar feelings of doing something kind for

"Are financing. They're donating money to the new voter restriction laws so that we know voting on Sundays no water, you know, like people can't bring water Club. That's absolute garbage at the end of the day Arizona. There's over two hundred bills that are being pushed across this country that are absolute voter suppression bills. And you know, let me tell you you're never going to find a white community that gets up on Election Day and finds out that oh, they shut down our polling station. They don't do that to white people. They only suppress the vote of people. Of light brown to dark brown. If you're Latino, if you're Hispanic, if you're African-American, you can guarantee that they're going to do everything in their power to make sure that you don't have the ability to to cast yawned and it's absolute racism is what this is. This is blatant racism and have Coca-Cola is participating in that will fuck Coca-Cola know I know because guess what month it ain't good for you anyway and and just like John deaf just said, I'll drink Pepsi r c I always love to our see it's a great, you know, but that kind of messed up it's kind of odd because literally two weeks ago Coca-Cola caught hell because they basically told people try not to be so white and you know what I took from that was actually yeah. Stop acting like your name is superior from other people because of the color of your skin. How about you start looking and trying to put yourself in the shoes of other people other people that struggle out here. Um, No, you know other people that are born with the pit, they need to born with the wooden spoon in their mouth, you know some you know, you know, a lot of people realize 60% of the filthy rich in the United States of America were born into it 60% of the people that are rich in this country were born into that wealth. So that means that they didn't do jack schitt off to get where they are. They never had to work. They never had to you know, their college didn't depend on whether or not they're going to be rich they were born into extreme wealth and that's why they gave way that they are and the truth is is that you know, ninety 7% of that are absolute white people. Yep. Yeah. No, I know. It's it's the whole thing is insane. I'm so sick of all that's going on. I mean, you know, it's like every you know, first of all, I think Joe Biden is doing a hell of a job. I mean and then to see, you know dead. All these like Lauren Bois birds tweeting out every second about like and and that other idiot Tomi lahren like yeah, just just inventing a garbage like trying to like come up with something because Joe Biden the Scandal free do you see they were going after him because he spent three weekends in Delaware which you know life which is from down a block from Washington. Exactly. Exactly. It's not very far from Washington DC and oh by the way, he's spending those weekends in his home the ohms. He's not going down to his Resort and charging the Secret Service and astronomical price to stay in the same damn Hotel, you know, he's actually saving us money every time he goes to you know, Delaware instead of a golf course, and I'm glad I don't think he plays golf at all. And I don't think that's a beautiful thing. I'm glad I'm really glad you know them. Believe that Joe Biden is the person that we need right now. And right now you're going to have people that are going to be throwing stones. But I think that eventually people are starting to open their eyes right now. They get a message saying the the news guy that has the white hair and oh, yeah and Anderson Cooper did a thing in Mingo County West Virginia Mingo County Office connected to the county that I live in Logan County. I was a state senator over parts of Mingo County Mingo County is one of those places where a trump flag was on every house. Okay, but 85% of the people have already said that they are absolutely supportive of Joe Biden's relief package because these people around here, I mean this is this huge this really, you know, when when when Donald Trump took office, they pushed a 1.9 trillion dollar package down the throats home. Working class citizens to take care of the filthy rich and the corporations and in Joe Biden's beginning. He pushed 1.9 trillion that actually went to the working class citizens home to elevate the people out of poverty half of our children in this country are being elevated out of poverty because of this, you know, when you think about $1,400 per child and now they're looking like that's going to be like a kind of like a Andrew Yang type of thing monthly piece you're talking about elevating these children out of poverty, you know, and and and the things that that has pushed in that package benefits people where I come from greatly and some of them except that some of them realize that and these were all Trump supporters, but I am right now, they're ticklish Atlas right now with what Joe Biden has has allowed them to have so yeah. That's a plus Alan Jay. Who's You know who's watching us on Facebook says Republicans have mounted the most egregious attack on American democracy since democracy since January. What does it say about the GOP when they introduced 253 voter suppression bills in forty-three States and then I guess I guess he goes off of speaking vote for my group and leave us a message 646-374-8339. So I mean, it's true. I mean, I mean, it's really bizarre that you know that it's I can't you know, I mean Richard it do everything they can to take the votes out of minorities against me again. Yes, you you can right now it's blatantly obvious who is racist and who is not and you had a a person that's a state said. In in Arizona that actually supported these bills and said not everybody should have the right to vote. But.

"Major Brian Walsh and Firefly. Nice to be home Airborne. I hope that what what Donald Trump got was just straight chlorine or bleach, you know, that's what he should have. Got, you know, I injection of ultraviolet light. Yeah, you know the bad part about the whole thing though is the fact that you know, this guy all the way up until the last day he even said that, you know, after November 3rd, you won't have to wear a mask off. More because it's a hoax but then once again like typical Trump fashion behind closed doors, you know, Russia's to get his shots before others. I mean this guy this guy is just absolute trash and and I'm just hoping that over the next two years we can show enough people that you know, he's pure trash so that in 2152, he's not going to have so much leverage on other people's races because you know, they're going to try yeah, of course, but you know and now Brian and and Richard this is this is the breaking story out of CNN. And in fact agents report identifies Russian efforts aimed at denigrating Biden and helping Trump. I mean, can you believe this doesn't surprise me one bit wage? Is it the Russians are playing these games? We know that they've been doing this but we need to start putting our foot down. I think we need to start lighting Russia's ass up hit them with some damn sanctions, you know, I mean, I could go back to shifts about Putin and I could give two shits about Putin's relationship with Donald Trump. That's all I need to know about why we need to absolutely turn off both of those assets and it's in Russia's interests, you know, I mean, like they I'm not I'm hardly surprised but like they've been grooming Trump birth. For years, I mean four years. He's they've been and what was galling is that he would say things that were just so obviously untrue. Like I have nothing to do with Russia. Like you said that so many times I'm like you it's been documented. Yeah, you know, it's it's a constant struggle to see the truth before one's eyes. It's he's he's just totally marinating in in vodka and caviar. And so yeah, I'm not surprised and we really shouldn't do you know, I don't know if we should like Russia implode on its own because we're seeing like unrest from one end of that country to you. Yeah, let let I hope they eat Vladimir Putin, you know, Mister two hundred billion dollars in the bank could give two shits about any of them. But at the end of the day, everybody knows everybody knows that they have been, you know, controlling Donald Trump off and and I mean it's it's this country has got to wake up. I would have never thought that we would have so many people especially in 2020 now 2021 wage that would fall for this absolute buffoonery. And that's exactly what this is these people around here still think that Donald Trump, you know actually cares about them. If you haven't seen wage in the last four years, what a horrible and I hate to even say the word leader. What a horrible leader Donald Trump has been and and you still have people out here that are wanting to home. To follow him and the only reason more for that is because they are racist just like he is and that's just the way I know we eventually could you raise your volume somehow? Okay. I got all the way up. I'm in a camper man. I hate I hated I'm I'm on the property this week man. We're we're out here trying to get everything ready for them to break ground off shorty ones like John bustling the Mages haircut. Let's extra silly today. It hasn't been, I've been sitting in a diag on Camp or running around digging the footing the planting raspberries. Yeah, Are you in West Virginia now? No, I'm in North Carolina right now. Oh, all right, but it's there. It's still there. It's just not feeling. Well. I'm glad you come on just try and talk as loud as you can cuz even my mother saying, you know, I could hear you. Okay, it's just that you know, Brian and I are are a little odd. A little louder. Yeah, I'll definitely I'll definitely raise my voice. All right, because I don't mind if you scream Airborne, but so you've been talking about a lot of things Jared Kushner making and Ivanka making six hundred and forty million in off of their work in the White House break. Isn't that illegal Hatch Act? It's not what what what's also illegal is is that apparently Donald Trump paid Ivanka her her seven hundred thousand dollars a year for Consulting and then he tried to write that off on his taxes and he's already been busted out with that. It's it's the only reason that Trump and really I gotta say Trump is not an outlier. The Republican party has been heading this way for a long time. But it seems that the only reason you get in government for the Republicans is to build your brand is to get free exposure. So out of office, you can make a book deal or you can just say you have that on your resume, but when they say, oh, we need business people to run the government. I mean she could hearing that for so long and I just wonder at what point we're going to realize that that just hasn't worked out because you know businessmen are motivated by profit. Yeah, they're motivated by by gains. And so yeah, they're going to look for angles to really grift really find any advantage wage. Find any way to get an edge in office and out of office. I mean, it's the it's the people that think that you know, businessman. Somehow are are good at the government by putting like profit motives on it that it's all altruism know it's all about it's all about the the scam and the con and we just gotta we just got to think differently business people can't necessarily serve the public serving the public is different than making a profit and benefit even shareholders. So I mean a lot of what they're doing in a John I'm not surprised. I mean, you know, we saw this coming like a mile away. These people are thieves. Yeah, but you know what though? There's there's no way around it. That's the problem is that you know, as long as as as filthy filthy rich people and I'm talking about The Waltons I'm talking about the bizos. I'm talking about musk. All these folks as long as they have the ability to pay lobbyists to go into Greece the pockets of dead. Legislators to basically allow for them not to have to pay any taxes on the money that they make overseas, you know, nothing's ever going to change the deck has been stacked for the wrong and it's been that way for a long damn time. But until we can figure out how we can stop groups like Alec and and we can end citizens united ships not going to change..

He's got you know, he's gotta do some now Mitch mcdick head, you know just came out and said he warned that if we moved over all the filibuster, you know, there's going to be I forget his quote what the hell tell you is quote. It was stupid as usual because he's such a freaking idiot Turtle back or rock the works there or not. Follow her all he's got this look house box of the great myths was gone. But yeah Brian he wants Democrats that overhauling the filibuster rules will lead to completely scorched-earth Senate. I mean, who's he kidding? I I'm scared off. Shared exactly. Should we really be afraid of Mister MC dick head? I don't think so. I guess I just pissed myself. I I mean this guy this guy's serious man. I don't want to I I I like we should apologize. I really think I think we should apologize to Mitch McConnell. I mean, he's he's been so reasonable in the past month and now and like, you know, it's I feel so guilty all of a sudden people. This is sarcasm put a piece of shit. He is dead. I know and there's wife is corrupt, you know, when she was the Secretary of Transportation. It was they the inspector-general of that a criminal referral. It's no engine to the to the these people the shame. It's ridiculous. Well, then we'll go to this story which is shocking from The Huffington Post Brian dead. Nearly 4,000 anti-asian incidents in the past year. Now, we know where all this came from it all came out from the do taught himself kept calling it to China flu and the Kung flu and all that getting all his freaking proud boys and all these Q idiots off to then pounced and harass asian-americans and the numbers are only going up because these people they live to hate and Donald Trump is of that ilk and like I've always said the reason why Trump has any supporters because he represents everything that they are which which is racist bigots and haters. That's what they are. So so they attack Asian Americans, but it all rests on Trump's freaking dilapidated shoulders wouldn't you agree? Yep. Go we haven't. I mean it was a deliberate choice to really push China virus. He was distinct China virus. We had a name for it covid-19 month. You'll coronavirus us. We were it worked. It was fine. But then to just think the Chinese virus we have to say it and it's you know, the song Oh, what about the Spanish flu or what about murderers and my well now this is big and you know, the connotation will be blamed China for this month and like this like this country full of geniuses is going to not react in a racist way. You know, like, of course there you're going to have attacks against asian-americans. It's it's just I'm tired of people saying that's not who we are now, of course we are I mean, this is like a racist ass country of course birth. Going to do that but like to push that out there. It's the China virus like you're doing that deliberately not to help people not to like, you know what you're doing that just to project blame to distract through the Spanish Flu was discovered in Missouri or Kansas or something like that. You know, it's like God. Yeah, I I you have to ask why it was just like no that's just words from okay. Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm an asshole. Yeah, you're just trying to be helpful know you're just trying to be racist. It's simple as that. Yep. Yep. That's exactly what it is bright and and you know, and I'm so damn sick of people trying to defend that I have to even like little Jabs at the pub and Big John will sit there and go the China virus. It's like what's wrong when you guys I mean don't you realize that's only going to incite violence against asian-americans what I mean? Come on man cave With covid-19 exactly. It's hard to remember the nineteen. Okay, there's math involved. Yeah, you got you got a wrong number and a number and covid-19 or coronavirus make jokes of fucking beer or you know, or at home I put on the covid-19, you know, it's fine. It works. You don't walk after like say China bar is technically it came from Wuhan like wow. You were a world Traveller. Congratulations, China China China China China a good thing. You have a good time, right? Yeah life is this good in between meetings and love it. You're a natural China China China nor they called it like a flu wage. Here that Halo also, like you're you're you're a grown-ass man and the and the head of the federal government. Just you know, how long it's all you had. It's not like it was ever funny just like turn it off. You know, I mean my God, I think I said this to you yesterday if this guy was competent, we'd be in a world of hurt right now like are saving grace was that I mean they got the man is just a as a child and he's surrounded himself by the most incompetent sick of pants like you can imagine. I mean, if I mean if it was like a real technocrat, I mean we'd be we'd be in Ireland. We'd be celebrating Saint Patrick's Day in in Ireland right now. We'd be out of here. I'm not saying like oh if he will need a moving I'm like we would have to move I think. Like it would be it would be bad would be he would be surprised if he won if he won. I mean forget about it. I mean, I mean, first of all Fighting came in and Jen sake, you know, she said it best. I mean Jen sake God bless her. I mean, she's like the best press secretary. I think I've seen F ever and hello Moretz and and a statement. Those are my neighbors who come in here, but I mean, I mean Jen sake just said, Because some idiot cuz now the reporters shouldn't sit in the buying the administration give the form of President credit and Jen sake goes I don't think anybody should be getting a credit went over five hundred thousand Americans are dead and she goes but furthermore we were left with no vaccination plan, you know, I mean, you know, he didn't order more vaccines so buying that to come in there and I'm day one and an Autumn or you know and get all that going but let me ask you Brian may have like Neil and I don't really know how to respond to this I did cuz cuz you know says to me, you know, well, the one thing I'll give Trump credit for is Operation warp speed off and I go hold on a second Pfizer didn't take any of that money that had nothing to do with Pfizer and they were the first out of the gate. So why are we giving Trump wide choice? deserve any credit Brian You know, I I really don't know. I I'm the one hand I believe giving credit and sharing credit is is good. I mean you get things done. If you don't if you don't take all the credit, but it's tough when Trump he he remember the Woodward interviews. Yeah, no bad. He's like, oh, this is bad. It's Airborne eighties and then it comes out. He's like it'll be gone. It'll it'll be gone just like that. It'll be a miracle. I keep praying God like he totally isn't I don't want to create a panic you're not you are by like not giving us faith and confidence that you're doing this. You know that you're you're seeing this thing through your taking it seriously that's causing us to panic and just the whole ingesting bleach. Yeah, and it's not like if this began off, Biden's watch we would have zero deaths but I mean we have to start asking how many of these deaths were preventable. Have you been following this Brett Kavanaugh news? Yeah. They said that they The FBI investigation was non-existent. Sheldon Whitehouse is is alleging that it that it was all BS. So Brian Smith, that's the case. Isn't that isn't that a real coup that the FBI was in cahoots with Donald Trump. Yeah, it is. I mean, there's so many there's so many examples of just this just corruption on every level of those past four years that I know the FBI was painted as this this like last fire wall against total tyranny, but you got to imagine I mean the FBI was also responsible for putting out that October surprise storing the 2016 campaign where they announced that Anthony Weiner had something on you know, whom not his wife's laptop and it just bought Hillary their people and like homie said himself I had to get it out there because people in the FBI were going to like start leaking it which tells me there is this like culture this Insidious culture of corruption and let's not forget. These were the this was the organization behind cointelpro. I mean, the FBI has been corrupt for most of its existence, you know, they were the ones that set out to to destroy and then fact they they they nearly did destroy the Black Panther Party Black Panther Movement off. There's that movie out right now the Judas and the black Messiah that gets into that, you know, slowly. I mean the FBI from its root what life is you know has been a secret police force and it really was the strangest thing in this past four years when people were looking at the FBI as if they are some save your job. For us like no we were so desperate for protectors and heroes that we were willing to put that on the FBI. I mean that's awful bad things were like that. We were looking at the FBI as the saviors of civilization and the Enlightenment and I'm like we have fallen so far it was staggering know I know and and and and do me a favor Brian is a way that you could adjust the camera. So your heads higher. Like this. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, so it's more cuz cuz all the John is more of a posture thing know I just because I want everyone to see you. You know, I am handsome guy. Thank you. But yet but then now what happens Merrick Garland gotta now do an investigation on the FBI, right? Yeah, but the only thing you can do about Kavanaugh is impeached wage. I mean, that's all you can do. Well, it's so funny cuz I was talking to Neil yesterday Meal. Look I love Neil, but sometimes he like, you know, he tries to he doesn't do this month to appease the Little John's but he does like sometimes agree with stuff which I don't and he was like, I thought the whole Brett Kavanaugh I'm hearing, you know was all Bs and I'm like, you know, he committed perjury he he lied about boofing. He lied about pyramid like he committed perjury And I mean, you know, he shouldn't have been allowed to be a Supreme Court Justice after that testimony. Yeah, it's I mean the the wage were credible, you know, I mean, they're like these these were then this was there really aren't schemes and conspiracies. I mean, they're incredibly complicated and difficult to pull off but notion that liberals got together and said, all right, you testify you? Here's your script know these were you know, and it's I I think what part of the reaction I mean for what it was just pure power. I mean this was controlling the Judiciary for two more Generations, really that's what was at stake. But I've also noticed this other thing at play where people now we're looking at Brett Kavanaugh as being called out for things he did in high school and college And you know, we've all we were all different people in high school and college but the question is did you rape anybody or assault anybody and high school and college and I think that made a lot of people uncomfortable like oh my God. My my bad haircuts are going to come in for me from getting a pointed to this job or the other but I think people just should have a mortgage honest Reckoning with themselves and with their past, you know, just I I don't mean to jump topics John but it it reminds me of like in 2012 when Mitt Romney was running for president and a story came out like in high school. He was a bully to this gay classmate who since had died and you know, I wasn't like but it came out that he was and they showed pictures in the yearbook. He's doing like the thing with his hand like, you know, the Fate type of thing, but you know, they asked them on the campaign Trail job. Like more you a bully, you know, did you bully gang kids and and and what he did he says if you want to talk about high school, you can talk about high school. I want to talk about American family. Like that was an opportunity. He could have like humanize himself and said, I I look back and cringe. Yeah things I did in high school things. I said things that I outwardly, you know, it's you know, we're all different people like, oh that was the past. Yeah that was six months ago. That was the past how it is 40 thirty years ago, you know, and I think I think there are people that are just uncomfortable Reckoning with their past and but his past have gone back to Kavanaugh the things he was accused of were stunning and if he admitted to like, yeah boost, so what who wasn't moved did you did you sexually assault somebody.

"Public service and in that Arena, but it's not that easy but Brian, you know, we had Brian and our friend Rick who's a English, you know English professional, you know, teacher English teacher gym teacher, but I had you guys, you know, help me off, you know, go with all my talking points and everything else. So I appreciate that because but Brian knows a lot about a lot but it is kind of cool to the pub finally opened Thursday at 25% indoor capacity. So so I actually had a chance to finally see you after such a long time. Yeah. It's been a year this whole thing has been a year. It's just nuts to me off and and and break down the dichotomy of the pub just for everybody because I let the get your outside perspective of it all. Well, it's it's off there's there's an interesting crew Irregulars and I think they have their opinions one way on things, but then like, you know guy like Neil, you know a job. Stalking him and he's also a fellow teacher, you know is almost like, you know, he and I are simpatico and a lot of things and then you but like, I'm sorry from the three of us. I don't think we have that many know, it's me you Neil and Eric that are on the left and then you have little John fill Big John when he was there and not Christians kind of on the fence either way, but he's cleaning right lately. But yeah, so, you know, I'm always up against and then you know, like you know Claire Foy is a right winger. So it's like, you know, you know, so you have like quite a few of the right-wingers there and they are relentless on their ridiculous now yet I guess she can't say their Rush Limbaugh are speak anymore, but now they're gravitating towards Tucker Carlson God. I mean what I when you saw that guy off Dancing with the Stars and did you think it was over for him and argue? Like we're never going to hear from this guy again. I I still can't believe that fox hasn't thrown him out considering all the racist crap that he puts out there. Now. I'm surprised Fox hasn't given a more money. I mean Fox is just it's just an abomination of choice. I mean, I'm surprised it's even on the are still, you know, you know, they got rid of Lou Dobbs and they think that that's like purge them of their sins like but they sneak Carlson. I mean they still got the five we've ever watched that show it just awful and they they complete like how come conservatives are you can't get jobs in like Hollywood and like it's just not funny. You just you just not funny at all. And I don't know. It just it's sad I was on the bar at one time cuz usually they do. Play sports and it's like and they play someone put on Fox News. I come I complained I said I turned into Karen I.
