"What is the most successful blessing show? It's about marvel's Avengers. Here's what I understand about marvel's Avengers. I enjoy playing it. The world enjoys shitting on it or watching it get shit on. And so today everybody, you get your fucking wish. All right, I'm sorry that PlayStation isn't buying kojima productions and they aren't saying, you know what? We also bought Konami and why not we'll throw in square and you know what? We bought Xbox two. None of that's happening. Instead, what you get is that Avengers is getting the shit kicked out of it again and we're gonna talk about where that's at and why, all right? Okay, that does sound good. When you phrase it like that, back to Ryan and IGN. It looks as though marvel's Avengers has a game breaking bug on PS5 dot, dot, dot. And the only way to fix it right now is by deleting all your campaign progress. According to player reports, the bug causes the game to crash every time you load it up. You may players claiming the game is currently unplayable as a result. The only fix for now is seemingly to reset your campaign progress entirely. Quote, our team is continuing to investigate the issue causing a crash for some PS5 players developers announced via Twitter. We think we've identified the fix or I'm sorry, afix that is currently being implemented slash tested. We hope to have more news by tomorrow morning and we'll continue to keep you updated. In the meantime, here's a workaround that is resolving the issue for some players. Just note it will reset your campaign progress. Go to operations and reset your reassembled campaign progress. As soon as you become young Kamala on a day, force close the game to the PS home screen, then you should be able to start The Avengers initiative, end quote. If you are a Avengers neo file, or you just walked away, never did it. Remember a couple people in chat are saying that it has been fixed. Oh, great. Well, I'm still playing. Kevin, can you get the tweet and pull it up for me? Just go to play Avengers on Twitter. They'll have the tweet. Hold on. Anyways, The Avengers initiative is the multiplayer portion of the campaign is the single player portion. When you start the game, you can jump right into multiplayer if you want to and you don't have to go do it. Anyways, back to the Ryan story here. The game breaking bug comes the worst time possible during a double XP and resource weekend. Although the event will allow players to double their rewards between March 24th in March 31st, it looks as though PS5 players have missed out on a large chunk of that. Many are calling for the event to be extended. And I would say many, we got a lot of people out there. A lot of people say, here we go. Marvel's Avengers tweet from Kevin says, we have released an update on PS5 that addresses the crash issue that some players have been having. Please let us know if you continue to have the problem. Now, Tim yeah. What I really wanted to do with this wasn't so much talk about the bug because what this is is that, you know, they put out their most recent update. This was in it. And it was more the fact that Avengers can't buy a fucking break. You understand that they just keep getting screwed over stepping on all the rakes in their front yard and do this. It's fixed now. It doesn't matter. It still gets us to where we are, of that. You're still in a really fucked up place regardless of this, Tim. Regardless of this. Because of course, where the fuck is all the content from marvel's Avengers. Do you remember it? I remember it. They crushed it when they did war for Wakanda. A great drop of story campaign, a new environment, a new character, everybody loved. That was fantastic. And then that was their big build up to the road map, then the final fence post, or signpost, I should say, was Spider-Man in November, which of course, which of course, pissed a lot of people off because it was a PlayStation exclusive, but then again, I think it really pissed off mainly the people who were on the outside with no opinion of ever playing Avengers, but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Spider-Man came true. That was me. I appreciate the plan. Exactly. But here's the thing. Then they say, we will give you a road map for 2022 in early 2022, right? Nothing. In my opinion, today is the last day. To qualify for early 2022. Well, here's the thing is that since then, they've come up and been like, hey, we're still not there yet. They haven't been quiet about that part of it. They're just like, hey, we don't have a road map for it or whatever. Which of course has made all the wheels in the rumor mills over on play Avengers subreddit over there that I still subscribe to and look at spin wildly of what's going on. Because of course I don't need to remind you, but I'll remind you, of course, that she hulk is all but confirmed for this game. Of course, she had been data mined forever ago. She had been rumored forever ago, and then when somebody put up a report that she was going to be played by, that voice actress liked the tweet and put up green and purple hearts before she deleted it because I'm sure somebody at square was like, yo, take that down. You're not actually announced yet. You know what I mean? These four voice actors. They see somebody reported, they don't know if it's a rumor, they don't know if it's a whatever. But she seemingly confirmed it in a way that wouldn't happen. She deleted that and took it down. Then of course, yesterday, this breaking news for The Avengers fans out there, all right? Excelsior. The Hawkeye voice actor, giacomo, giotti. On Instagram, put up a thing of him in the VO booth and said, just finish cooking up some more Hawkeye for all you amazing play Avengers fans. Thanks for continuing to play and making the game such a huge success. Don't know if he knows what a huge success is. But he probably doesn't know games now. What does this mean? That's all happening there, right? And so then on top of all that, with two things that have happened more recently, there's a long period of silence. The one the only Brian Wagner. You know what Brian Wagner gameplay and system design lead to Chris dynamics he's working on marvel's Avengers big Ghostbusters fan. I follow him on Twitter. But he tweets a lot and he's been tweeting a lot recently. March 19th, he started a whole string of tweets and I'm on a pick and choose from, right? He goes, since I continue to get road map when tweets. Road map announcements are covered by our brand slash comms team. I don't have any info on when that might happen. My job is to keep planning and designing what is next and have been hard at work doing that. There is, quote, I'm sorry, there is a lot of planning going on internally right now. Some short term, what is in 2.4 and 2.5, medium term planning this year in prelim long-term planning past 2022. I know it may be hard to see slash understand that since we focus on discussing plans once they are locked in. Again, these are picking and choosing tweets from here, right? That he put up a whole bunch of stuff to put out.

"Scores. Finally, today, today's the day that constitution Dow is going to go to Sotheby's to try to win that copy of the U.S. Constitution that is going up for auction. What they've achieved even to this point is quite impressive quoting Julian weisser on Twitter. 16,203 people have made a contribution to constitution Dow. The median contribution is $228 and 58 cents. The community has grown to 18,000 on Discord and more than 29,000 on Twitter all in under a week end quote. Last I heard they had also raised over $40 million, but they're not disclosing the exact amount because they don't want to tip off other bidders at the auction. But there are still some practical things to figure out today like how to actually remit payment, who actually has ownership if they win, who, you know, actually picks it up. You can't just walk out on the street with a copy of the constitution under your arm. And where they're going to end up displaying it, quoting The Wall Street Journal. The consortium whose members work at social media companies have founded apps and buy crypto and NFTs regularly don't have much experience buying objects at traditional auctions. The constitution is not a security said Brian Wagner, one of a few dozen core organizers of the group. We actually had to figure that out, which is hilarious, said Miguel piedrafita, a 19 year old organizer who works at an NFT social media company and lives in Spain. The group's organizers have been consulting legal historical and auction experts to smooth out some of the challenges of crowdfunding with new technology to purchase a centuries old artifact. It's a document mister Wagner said, a lot of the complexity is related to the fact that it's not on the blockchain. A data structure that makes it possible to create a digital ledger of transactions and share it among a distributed network of computers. There are no returns on investment here, either. Contributors who can remain anonymous won't make a cent if the group wins the auction, and no one person will own the physical copy. Instead, taking an anti establishment posture that might have been familiar to America's founding fathers as well as crypto enthusiasts. The group agreed to get the document out of millionaires art collections and back into the hands of the people, according to organizers. Everyone got into it for different reasons, but everyone was really inspired by how we can collectively determine the fate of and govern where this document goes, how it's displayed, said mister Wagner, age 30. If they win constitution doubts, goal is to have the document house in a place that is free and accessible to the public. But like the object they hope to possess, they have left that final decision to contributors. Each will be a lot of voting power determined by how much crypto they contributed. While contributors are widely anonymous and sometimes only identifiable by a username, they have the option when sending crypto through juice box to leave messages. Mister Wagner says those have ranged from Britain's joking that this is their small act of revenge on Americans for the Revolutionary War to immigrants saying the U.S. has provided them so much and that this is their chance to unite for a democratic cause. Constitution Dow's core organizers are adverse to using titles, though some release their identities to add credibility to the group. With no one person to lay claim to ownership if the group places the winning bid Thursday, organizers are trying to figure out which museum or historical artifact expert will pick up and transport the copy of the constitution. Sotheby's will hold the object for 30 days, giving them time to talk to museums about long-term and short term storage, as they sort out their vote on the documents ultimate destination, organizers said, quote. Also, OpenAI has made the API for GPT-3 generally available. If you live in a country that's allowed to make use of GPT-3, that's.

"Of them 14,770 were general admission first come first serve so A few hours before the show, a sizable crowd gathered outside the front of the arena. 7000 people were there by seven PM doors were supposed to be at 7 P.m., but the band was late for sound check. Few doors on the side did start to open and people started to filter through. But when, when the when the who started a sound check at 7 P.m.. Well, the crowd they just figured that well, the band took the stage early and that turned into tragedy. 11 people were crushed to death that night. Two of those were actually from Kentucky. Dave Heck, he was only 19 years old. And then Brian Wagner from Kentucky was only 17 years old. It changed the way that we went to rock concerts forever that greeted him and the entire nation mourned who didn't even know what had happened to you after the show as we bring in, I think, Tom long sure is he here, Dave? Tom Long source was we bring in Tom Long? Sure. You may know him as the guy that brought us something good. If not for Tom Long. Sure, we wouldn't have Skyline Chili, which is Mother's milk to me. We all know how this show feels about Skye, Julia and no one comes to your defense more when we have the annual discussion of Scared like you. These neck chili with Persky can't be packing if you know who comes riding in on white horses with machine guns to defend Skyline Chili. Tony Dwyer. You damn right. But that's not what we have you on, Tom Long? Sure. You were fortunate enough to survive that night. But you were right in the thick of it. You're a teenager. You were in Cincinnati, Ohio. You're a rocker just like us. And you went to a Who concert? Explain. That's what happened that night. Well, it started out. The first thing was getting tickets getting tickets for a concert like that. It's hard to do, but I was able to purchase 22 tickets. To Evelyn. I wanted all reserved, but I got to reserved and 20 General mission. So that leads to getting there early. It was on the old guy's night out, okay, because we're going to the zoo and we all got there early, just like you said, and we're just waiting around the concourse and everybody started going towards the doors. And, um what was crazy, Woz. It just started getting closer. Closer and people get closer and closer. Next thing you know you're getting squished. And the line. The group with like the push one way and everybody go woke. One way you might move 5 ft. And then back the other way. Well, everybody's going 10 Ft Man is 15 ft. Then you're so we were so packed in the middle. There that meet personally, my feet were off the ground. Oh, my God. I was just stuck in the middle of this group. Now. I wasn't panicking. I was But I didn't know what was about to happen. But, you know, I was just going along with the crowd and just going. Wow. This is this is nuts, but Oh well, if we're going to the new concert, everybody's doing a great mood. Great mood and Following people around you, Tom people around you panicking where girls panicking or were you just described going? 10 ft to the left, and maybe 15 ft. To the right. That's extreme. And then your feet are off the ground. Now you're 18 I known I've known you for 30 years, So I know your personality. You're not gonna panic. But there are other people that certainly in that not even just cost, if only people but people are like, Oh, my God, I got to get out of here Where people around you panicking. At first they weren't but As it got, you know, kept going and going and going that itwas because the girls air you know, obviously a lot. Smaller than we were, you know, and more petite that and you could just see girls around you that you know I'm above them, okay? And I mean, my feet aren't on the ground, and then they were going down, you know? And and I was actually stuck with my, um, elbow in my hands up. You know, in the air, I could not get my arm. Oh, thank you. I was just stuck. But eventually we were, you know, I looked and notice and I still remember to this day. I think they only open two doors. It could have been four. But it was too. It's his far as I could remember. And, um, back in those days, they had a guy stand there just for your ticket. And 20 stub off and you went through one of those little turnstiles, okay? Well, I didn't know what time it was. I wasn't watching time. I was just what you see in the door and see and I'm getting closer. I'm getting closer and my friends were getting the two of us that were ahead to reserve seats were together. We just noticed in this and and boil. It was wicked. When we got up to the end, they had railings for about the last 4 ft. Before you went in the door that I remember. One of my legs were stuck on the railing on one side and the other leg on the other side. Now. Fortunately, I was able to pull through. And get out. But I imagine other people got stuck like that on that little railing. But I went through the turnstile and been to plenty of concerts. Okay, had a connection that ticket trying. That's why I had my my gut My so many tickets. Go in and went right to the to the first concourse. Okay, right through the door through the entryway, and I looked And I could see the fence down on the floor. So I had. The question is do I want to go to the fence? I'd never been to a concert where I got all the way to the fence. Okay on the floor for general admission, or what did I want to dono? My friend and I looked at each other. We said well, we have to reserve. Let's see what else we can do. Okay, So I, um we asked a staff guy there in a little yellow jacket. And it said, you know, where is reserved And where is general mission was the only reserved seats were the lower levels, the 100 levels. And on the side now, not in the turn and on straight back from the stage and on the other other corner. Those were general admission. Well, my tickets happen to be on the side close to that turn and I was a low level I want to say I was in like 1 22. In 1 24 was general mission, So we went down there. We decided to save seats. Okay. Now that all this time there was nobody in there yet, Okay, The reason there was nobody in there is they only had two doors open. Okay. They're taking forever for people to come in well, anyway. Hi. My friend held the seat 20 seats that were trying to save. Then I went up back to the front door. And you have to know what the Coliseum used to look like, but to get up to the upper level, you went up about 10 steps and turned and then went up 10 more steps. And then you're in the upper arena. Why went up those 1st 10 steps right by the door. And I'm watching for my friend's coming through. Okay? And every time I see somebody come throughout, yell to him and say Go to section 1 24 Road, J. We got it reserved for you guys. That that was..

We're pleased now to be filled by Cody Cameron from Arizona varsity.com. He's going to give us a break down on some local area high school football happenings as being out around the valley over last week or two Cody. How are you doing today, sir? I am fantastic in Japan open for about a week. Now. It's a great listen this past couple of weeks and I will take the weather started finally pulled down. So good times over here. Yeah. I looked last night. I think it was about 9 or 10:00 at night. I was looking the TV and the News was just coming on and it didn't say a hundred degrees on the on the thermometer. Was it 97 of an hour making progress? Absolutely. I believe that first 90 degree. Hi, Dan, September man is going to hit different this year had such a good ol July and August looking forward to those days. Could I give us a call for what's going on out there? And I know you're all over the place in terms of the valley and talking to coaches and athletes and parents. What's the vibe? Well, I can tell you I've been I've to probably about twelve to Fifteen campuses now and the kids are just happy to be out there. I mean you see pure enjoyment from the student-athletes and the coaches just being able to run around on the field hockey team to transitioning the text-based three now, so they're able to do some one-on-one drill go throw the ball around here and they're still no contact or anything like that, but just appear enjoyment of getting to be able get outside and play the game they love and this is in a hundred 1570 17 degrees days after school's out and they still loved it. So just to see that as a fan and someone who also loves the game now Cody, did you actually get to speak with any of the football players during your travels? And what did they exactly have to say about about things in this in this new era if you will? I mean like everybody else you got to adapt right? And so it's been a really weird last four to five months obviously in our country, but they just said you got it you got to put the pieces. So these athletes are in our thoughts, especially their guys want to get better every single day. So obviously the training was a lot different a lot of these people weren't able to go to the gym, but just doing the outside work out continuously work in to a page on their own not having coaches rights guide them cuz we weren't able to leave for so long. It's just having that drive to get better. So yeah, it was different. But at the same time we're talking about competitors and some of the best competitors in the entire State and so they they want to get better they found ways to get better and it's all about adapting Cody. Are there are there colleges out here recruiting now or if they've been doing things virtually now, sir, everything else has been dead. The NCAA is continue to post dead. So many months now and and we saw that really affect recruiting in the spring when the spring eval. With all the her high schools doing all along. There's no they weren't able to do that because obviously depends emack & college football and extending their dead. I think that really hurts the class of 2021 and the class of 2022 when you talk about recruiting Because film doesn't buy these coaches everything they're doing now is virtual. It's all virtual tours virtual meetings FaceTime, but you still a lot of these coaches they want kids to pass the website and they want to get naked in front of a student-athlete and see okay, he meets my tangibles. He can move well like the trust of film but still I want to see the players can't do that right now cuz it did. So there's no coaches moved out here including everything is virtual. I think that's really changed the aspect of recruiting and in terms of that kids are starting to commit extremely early as the chair what the coronavirus numbers continuing to take a downward Trend here in Arizona. Thankfully, did you get the sense while you were out and about Cody that people feel that we're going to actually get this High School football season, and we're like, I think we're six weeks out. Now from from the debut, which Shameless plug will be the Thursday night football game of the week. Yeah silver so that's right. But do you think did get the sense of people say, you know what? I think this is, we're going to continue to work hard and we're going to make this happen in a six weeks man, cuz mostly I spend my time in the East Valley. My my office is in East Mesa. And so most of the team's I go see are in the East Valley. I've seen them almost every single Chandler Unified School a lot of Southeast Valley Football and all those coaches. They're telling me they're planning on smoking ago and I'm not saying every all the program the state aren't doing that cuz you got to prepare like you're going to play a game in October but we still have school districts in the West Valley Phoenix Union that are allowing these teams to beat and so those coaches in alleys are a little different I go to a channel law school and these guys are getting after it, you know, obviously not pads or anything like that, but I mean they're doing they're installing all these plays and they're getting the chemistry down with the quarterbacks and running backs receivers and you got teams and c e Union which can still can't meet so that mentality is are the ones that like coaches feel for the man because they haven't been able to do the same thing as a lot of these East our coaches and it is what is. You know, it just bought their school districts, but I talked to a lot of these Valley coach and I kind of see that as like the SEC Conference and they're going to go like what their school districts have to Cody my understanding and speaking to some of the administrators around Valley is that this upcoming week is going to be a critical week with the AAA and that they're going to be essentially issuing the schedules what what are the schedules going to look? Like? I know she going to be a condensed season, but are they going to basically, you know looking at the prior schedule that was released. Are they going to say? Okay look. On this date you were going to play this team on October 2nd and that's going to be the schedule remaining year or are they going to mix it up and change things from there? And it's not going to be the same thing. How's that going to look up? But what would I Hold On Wood I've seen from the AIA expect that October schedule they passed and when you get into the October a lot of those are reading games anyway, so you don't have too much travel. Now, I still have faith in Arizona teams travelling up in the air has said I know some of the tucsons are so said, hey, we feel more comfortable if we just stay in Tucson and play these teams the problem is you still have for 8 through 6:18 a.m. On there and you can't fix a program, right? Mike least for a schools. So eventually you're going to have to travel up a place some of these Phoenix Metro teams. If you're Southern Arizona, I think in terms of time travel, you'll still see teams travel a little bit. But for the most part region games and October should stay in my opinion cuz those are locked and loaded anyways, like the Mesa Unified Schools. Just don't play each other if your clothes and yep. Even if I can lease is still say Hamilton at the end of year, you know just makes sense. You have three miles down the street to 868 school, but in terms of the September and August teens, I don't know if they're going to take like those first three games and just attach it to the back end of the schedule. I don't know what's going to happen has the luckily they've had months to try to plan for this and schedule it like that but don't have any scheduling conflicts. But yeah, we're going to see this week is huge cuz only schedule but you have the third-party medical committee that they put together and they're going to implement Sam rules and and there should expect the same to look like and all these things suck a big week coming up. We're looking for some information vents. We might be able to go ahead and start shuffling that Thursday night football schedule around Cody before.

"People in Nicaragua probably don't even know about their own team down there. Like this guy likes this flavor ice cream. He likes to eat it on Wednesdays after 3 p.m. I've being facetious, but it's unbelievable. That's the work that he puts in and that's why his broadcasts are top-notch. So there's no there's no there's no like, oh, why is he so good because yeah, what's in the time? So in other words, he's not like us when were just going to roll out of bed and maybe maybe if we're lucky comb our hair brush teeth on that given day just show up and ready to call the game, or maybe we're not quite sure if we're lucky. Yeah. Wow, that's that's neat. So speaking of which been what kind of advice can you give to guys like us that you know, they want to cut our teeth and really get in and and broadcast more stuff. Right? Right. You know what I think You know looking at having work with James a few times, I think first off I mean having the energy that you guys do. That's like that's the first step and I think you guys are in a really good position because you're currently passionate about the sports recovering and you want to be there. I think that that's the first step it can be I think really hard for guys who are just breaking into the industry to understand that yeah when you shut it off, I mean High School small College that's that's your ticket to the growing because you have to start at that level you have to do so many games and I think what we just talked about with the prep. That's such a big part. I feel like that's probably 85% of what makes the successful broadcast just because you have to all of that to show that you know, the importance of the game the context historical why this matters but once you get into the game too and something that is really hard for any of us, I think any broadcast will tell you it takes a lot of time and over the course of a couple hundred Broadway. Really get your true your true voice on it really being yourself. So trying to find that balance between obviously doing all the prep and having all this homework done and being really organized that it's all in one place. But also remembering that there is a game going on in front of you and a lot of times you're not going to use much of your prep. I mean in a in an ideal setting you're probably looking at maybe 15.2% of the prep that you actually do is is going to go out on air unless it's at the blowout and you know, you've got yourself a. And nothing game at the happen and you start to dig in deep, but I think it's kind of a combination of just having that basis of understanding how much work you have to put in for each broadcast, but also letting yourself have fun getting really good at the fundamentals so that you know, and love my broadcast professors would always teach a you have to be an expert at the rules and the fundamentals so that you can then break them and they know, you know when to when to suck In a joke or just be yourself or witty and kind of having that he'll and that Rhythm. So those are all things that definitely just take time. I didn't really feel like I ever had that as far as my voice and feeling I had a good Rhythm on the air and feelings truly comfortable and so maybe hundred hundred fifty games. So we're talking a couple maybe one one one two years out of college and that's just doing now all high school all small small college games at that point. So it's really just as we always say it's a labor of love. But if you keep focused on some of those individuals things just your Rhythm and your Tempo not you know not going too fast, which is again hard not to do when it's crazy play breaks out in front of you, you know, reminding yourself to stay calm and Floyd, but at the same time letting yourself have fun and and getting exciting a big place happened while at the same time just having all that prep work done every time so that you you know, where to go when something big happens in a game then in our last minute here, which is there. Is there a particular broadcaster that maybe took you under his way his or her Wing when you first started out and kind of showed you the ropes and made you just kind of feel comfortable and give you a little confidence and say Hey, you know, you you're doing pretty good at this you keep working, but you can maybe make something out of this. Yeah. No, I've had several mentors who have been just fantastic. Brian Anderson who I think is calling the CNC game today. I believe one of our Western Conference games for the NBA. So I'm from Milwaukee. He's the Milwaukee Brewers TV play-by-play guy and he's just and just a tremendous person and having somebody say early on home. You can do that. You know, you have you have talent. Obviously, you're young you're wrong. You've got a lot of things you have to work on but you can do it that getting that sort of talk from somebody is established as a guy like be able to throw a Giant Eagle. It's a mentor of mine. It does NFL on CBS and he's he's doing MBA right now to really established guys who when they when they tell you that and they give you some specific wage. To work on you know, you should get you can improve on that goes a long way when you're young and you're just looking for confidence. So I named those those two atom immune is another guy who's who's now as possible just took their for the ESPN who has met in person and have known him for ten thousand college. So those three guys and there's several others are great. But our broadcast our community is nice because a lot of casters remember when they started out at I think that's something I try to do. I mean work with college kids now who are just coming up and I think we all remember where we were we start and that's the really powerful when you're coming up in this business. Well Ben Wilson, thank you so much for joining us here this morning. "Interact with bomb Kim's poll question on 10/16, That's 10:16, And while you're there check out Bobcats bottom line at 10:16 a.m. Let's get funky on a Saturday morning. Ladies and gentlemen, the JV Sports show off begins now here all your co-host James booming and Vince d'alessio. Welcome back to the JV Sports show. Beautiful Saturday morning here in the Valley of the Sun James Pugh be alongside. My co-host Vince Eliseo. That was fantastic man. I don't know what else to say fence about that life is something else. I don't know if he just sits in his house like all night and just has the windows drawn, you know reality. Yeah, there's no reality to just out there. Just whatever comes to mind. He hits record and he starts talking head is nice little techno. I'm just oh, I love it. Yeah, we gotta have them on anyway. All right. Well, welcome back James May I please introduce our next guest that you work with this guy. Well, we are pleased now to be joined by the voice of the lady Runnin Rebels basketball team of UNLV. He also has a bunch of other gigs. His name is Jim Wilson and police to bring him on the show now Ben. How are you today, sir? He needs to call in. Okay? Yeah, it's great to have y'all we appreciate it. We're going to call a little more soccer tonight, and I wanted to get a little information from you. As far as your area has he called in? Okay. We need you to call in Bend, please. Did you have the number to call into our studio so we can get you on our radio? So yeah, let me send it to you right now. Sorry, buddy. Yeah, right. All right. So anyway James tells give us a little bit of background James on on been and what he's done where he's been dead ends been with the Mountain West Conference for a couple of years. Now, I believe he's also done some stuff with the SEC network on ESPN some baseball. I know you did some stuff from Missouri, is that correct, man? Yeah, okay. So it done some work with Missouri and then also James beni's is doing some things with you guys are calling soccer. How long has that been going on James? We actually started that back in a spring we both do a gig for a company called Spock we're able to do remote broadcasting from our homes and then they provide us basically part of a feed a master feed and then we we provide English commentary cuz there's a lot of leagues and stuff around the world that prefer to have English commentary along with whatever their native language, Terry is and so Ben and I are just pleased to be able to provide that so it's good stuff man. Where are you from? I'm from Wisconsin originally it's been kind of a interesting path to Las Vegas. But yeah, I mean I appreciate you guys having be honest just crazy ten months really sick. I moved took the gig with the Mountain West and a few other conferences back in October of last year. So feels like that was about ten years ago. The reality is it's only been about ten months. But yeah, I kind of kind random house at James and I getting to to work together. I think it's just a great example of how you did into this pandemic and nothing's going on and I think all of us who work in the industry just dead so that's person wanting to have games to call and so through a lot of these some of these start-up companies like the one James and I work for you you have the opportunity to do games and other countries, which is something you wouldn't ever expect but it's also shown that at the same time. I feel like it's a good lesson for people in the business and broadcasting anywhere. You still learn a lot about these players. They all have really dead. Been stories. They just happened to be in a country. That doesn't get a lot of coverage that most of us would never think of covering. So it's you know, it's been a good experience it keeps you active doing games kind of almost like offseasons repetition so to speak but it's been a lot of fun so far and looking forward to getting back to Las Vegas to and we're hoping to go back to work. I do work for serious damage as well have the NFL season starting of course, which is big in Vegas with the sports betting industry. So that is is on the horizon as well. Ben rewind a little bit of tell us when you first got the broadcasting but because I don't even know this myself even having worked with you. When when did you first kind of discover broadcasting and figure out that hey, this is something I'm really passionate about life through this. Yeah for me James one of those things where knew was something. I always wanted to get into and I ended up going to University of Missouri. I think you had mentioned that I bought a second ago. That was one of the places I worked for the recipe see network and just something that fell in love with right away. My first gig was actually doing play-by-play for the Missouri volleyball team and just getting that experience traveling with the team being part of the ins and outs of just covering a program on a daily basis at the college level first was just so much fun and and doing all sorts of stuff in that area first that's where I got my start in the mid Missouri area. So a lot of high school. I know you guys cover the Nai lot of a football wage. When I first started out so that that's kind of how things began for me and I have family in Las Vegas and I my grandmother lived there for a really long time and and having some connections there sort of helped me move out the house and I love it out here. It's it's great as far as so many different conferences. I do games for the big West as well in that, you know the whole California Arizona Nevada footprint. So it's real easy to age level do games for four different networks. And yeah, it's one of those things. I've never really envisioned doing anything else. So been a lot of fun how much prep time is involved with getting ready for one game? No, it's a good question. I think let's just say you're doing college basketball. For instance from scratch. Let's say you haven't seen either team. I think the next gig I have which I'm not sure if it'll actually happen is a Thanksgiving tournament Dig Inn in Orange County. And I think I think Oakland is one of the teams in their Fresno State. Let's say I'm doing Oakland Fresno State Men's Basketball if I'm starting from scratch going through every player. They're complete history all that if it's go information, obviously, but also any interesting storylines about our background anything they do extracurricular that I think would add to the broadcast when you think about all those things combined with the team history coach history all of that probably looking at about six to eight hours or so per team. When when I start completely from scratch I have big challenge for us. I feel like as broadcasters when you're in a really busy part of your job. Trying to condense that but if I've got a lot of time and I've got one game I'll go pretty heavy on that. I can condense it and do maybe 3 to 4 hours of Team. Especially now with the holiday season is incredibly busy for us. Yeah, usually calling the tournaments. Yeah. I used to have a couple of different Thanksgiving tournament. So yeah on average it ends up being in that pack 12 hour range when you get into football that's that's a monstrous and everyone usually college football. So it ends up being, you know, three four hours over a few days each and and excess of one of the last gigs I had before the shutdown. So prepping for XFL games. Yeah that that's probably in that $12 range or so. Let me tell you I've learned a lot from been just doing a few games over the last few months as far as cuz his prep is absolutely phenomenal you think, you know, we get some good words from OU AZ over there and we'll some information he has information that you home. Even.

"To have those kids running that broadcast with the replant. It's amazing. I know our girls love it our Parish what like my in-laws living in California, they'll watch our broadcast because it's so good. It's just like watching any professional level bron James we need to get out there and and at least maybe they'll let us say a few words. I don't know. want to you know, dear of a broadcast particularly when it's just professionally done by the students, but that would be fun that sound like a lot of fun to do so coach Wagner what your experience you've been there for quite a few years. Years now and you're also your viewer. You're no stranger to the game. You you had a a career yourself and Yeah, I've been coaching with Fred man for Seventeen years. You just kind of rolled his eyes what he said that took my coach when I started playing he was the only coach I really ever had before. I went off the plane College. Was this at Perry then also your graduate know I was at Mountain point so I can count point and Fred was there for a few years before I I showed up there was a freshman and then after college I came back and worked with him there for a long time and then we made the move out to Perry about seven years ago. It's really nice. It's it's my boundary school. It spreads boundary school or at least yeah, I think it's still so it's really nice to be close to home with kids in the community a running into people or once in a while, you know, we have the kids over for team breakfast and stuff like that. So it's really nice to be out there. We we absolutely love it. But yeah, I played for Fred. Many years ago the our relationship goes back to gosh. I guess it's 1995 was when he first started coaching and I absolutely love working with the guy. He's best coach in the state. I don't need the question. I'd love to to get him an indoor state championship over here. Cuz he deserves it. He's fantastic. Coach another question for you. So the balance between you know, because parents say what you got to help my kid get off to you know, go off to college but the same time when you're coaching you gotta coach your kids you gotta coach York and you gotta try and win games that's ultimately develop them win some games and but at the same time, you know, you you have to try and move your kids along how how you know, what is that process like it's germs of the time commitment and you know in in in working with these colleagues cuz colleges will just drop it cuz I did in football colleges will just drop in on you, you know, and they hey I want to watch some film on this kid and you're sure to teach a class or you're trying to you know, practice and all of a sudden you got to college coming in to talk to your college coach. You got stopped things and go over and talk to them. You know, what has that process been like Well, I mean, we're we're really fortunate. We've had so many great kids come through our program over the last seven years. We've been there it's remarkable. It's kind of a funny little place. We've had kids that we have cut from Varsity that have gone on to play college volleyball. That's that's how we've been married over the years and it's not because those kids weren't good and didn't deserve to make a choice. You can only fit so many kids on a roster. So yeah, we do have situations where kids maybe not be in the lineup for us. Yeah, and and they're still getting lucky Club volleyball and those college coaches pay attention to that circuit as well. And those kids can find a team where they are going to get playing time. But at the top end of our our program for the last five years, we've got wage to be one all the time. I think we're going to have, you know, four or five division one committed kids starting for us probably this year. So one of our kids Junior libero wage The Air Force this week, which is phenomenal. Congratulate. Yeah, right fantastic will coach Brian Wagner. Thank you so much for joining us this morning from Harry volleyball. We wish you guys get nothing but continued success and we look forward to maybe hopefully checking out that game on the 24th. If it does hold against Basher, that should be a great one. So thank you for joining us this morning on the JV Sports show. We really appreciate it. And we appreciate your time. Thanks. Thanks for holding. Awesome. Coach Brian man. Excuse me. Coach. Brian Wagner coach Fred man. I'm sorry about that Brian. I apologize coach Fred you missed out. This was great, but I was a definitely did a great job for you and for your program and a lot of great things going on in the East Valley and stick around come right back. Listen through the commercial. We gotta special funny tribute here by witold friend of yours. Jake's Kevin derryberry and the listing through the commercial break. It's a lot of fun. I'll be right back..

"Business while you help support exclusive coverage of Junior College, NAIA and NCAA division 2 and 3 sports. Check us out at www.ge.com and let us show you the benefits of partnering up with James and I on the JV Sports show. It gets a little crazy in the sports you sometimes listen weekdays from 5 to 6 p.m. With their wage rate here in Cape am 1060 off. Welcome aboard the Foreigner today. That's kind of Our Hearts theme even though we're we're all American here. But yeah or off. Anyway, let's go hook. There's a lot of want to say but can't special segments here that we run a week Aaron you got that cued up. It's the JV Sports show spotlighting like well, let's go to the high school Spotlight segments. He was still fading out the corner. It's all good. I just took with us today. So, you know, we talk about you talk about running sports wear a sports show where a community show where a special Elite. We love running everything great about the community, just a football show or not. Just a basketball show. We're a volleyball show where a baseball show where a soccer show and and if you're going to go in you gotta go all in and we're going with the best of the today. We've got with us off. High school volleyball coach one of the great coaches out there at Perry coach. Brian Wagner. Good morning. Coach Wagner. Good morning Phillip. Thanks for a pre-owned so coach coach long ago. We talked to him this week. He said he was going to be out on a lake somewhere. I don't know. I think it was just simply not sure that he's even out of town. You know you say I mean he was he said, you know, gotta get the guy that's the most well-spoken on staff and that's coach Wagner. So I don't know we're going to we're going throw you some Tom questions today coach here. I hope you're right up. Okay. So you guys are you also coach beach volleyball out there? Right? I actually don't know that red light bulb under control and actually one of our other indoor coaches now and color helps out with the beach program over their coach Wagner. You guys came up just shy of the championship last year losing 3222 the bath bears talk about that club last year a little bit give us a little brief synopsis of them. And then what do you have coming back this year? As you guys are obviously going to be hungry 224 a little bit of Revenge if you will. Yeah, I think we might we were really good last year really good enough to win it and I think every year the hope is that you're in the mix. And and you get to play those big matches at the end of year and we handled our semi-final really well and we're right there in the final and I think we played well enough to win Bachelor was really good also and I'm not seeing each other a couple of times over the course of year. We taken one day at taken point. And as you mentioned it was real close, it's still works honestly to think about talk about but I think we got a dog maybe even being better this year. Wow, you've got some girls. We've got some girls that were in that match and we'll have learned from that match. And and I think we're real hungry from what I've seen so I thought well the only thing better than number two is number one. And so you're the expectation is to hoist a championship at the end of season. How are the offseason workouts been going for you? And what do you got coming back? We haven't we haven't had much offseason workouts. I mean everybody everybody goes in place Club volleyball and you know, we encourage that that's great. Our girls are on National level teams all over the place and club. And unfortunately that clubs even got cut short back in March. So a few clubs were able to start doing things again in June. We haven't really done much of anything but a couple of weeks ago we've been in the gym just a little bit but we have a really good group of seniors coming back our Setter who ran ran the offense Sports last year. Jenna Heller's coming back again your choice, we've got Elrod with the starting out header for us last year. She's coming back starting middle blocker Michaela Wong coming back. We have we have plenty of Firepower coming back and some girls that were one out because of injury last year and then others that were just backups last year. They were going to be ready go. So we're really excited about what we got and I think what would be a wage? A lot on the floor this year or visit here with coach Brian Wagner from the Perry Pumas volleyball team coach Wagner. When are you guys going to be able to get together officially as a team for the first time and and have an official practice and how excited months they beat you square off again in the first came against those fashioned Bears on September 24th. Wow. Yeah, that's that is the current schedule. We're not entirely sure that's going to remain our schedule like owning. They're still messing around with that. We will see Bachelor twice because they're in our region or first practice or first day of Trials is slated for August 31st, and we as we're getting close to that. They haven't pushed it back yet. We've already been pushed back plenty of times as you guys all know but as we're getting closer, we're thinking okay, that's 9 days away now. Hopefully that's the day when she can get going have tryouts for Varsity JV in the freshman team and and hopefully we can just keep rolling from there. As long as everyone's saying States and healthy. Yeah, no rest for the weary coach. So I took And I'm curious you don't have to name specific schools. But give us some conferences of college conferences a coaches that have been sniffing around the the, you know, during this offseason that have been reaching out to you guys and inquiring about some of your student athletes. Well, we've got girls going to let's see we've got girls going to the WTC and going to the others to another girl going to a big school one of our athletes and Caleb long are starting middle blocker. This one's incredible see one last month. She won the National Championship in dispatch. So he was volleyball track for college and then all of a sudden and I talked to her a couple of weeks ago. She she kind of can go where she wants is what she's telling me. She's talked to all of the wage. Well Big Ten schools, and now she's kind of got her choice where she can go participate in track and she throws both discus and shot. But I think she was third in shop, but and first in discus nationally dead. And the big and I don't know how that meets work. I don't think they all got together. But either way she's the national champion. So we're excited to have her back out. But I think her future is going to be in track. Yeah. Wow, no kidding. She might even have Olympic aspirations coach. I believe she does and she comes from a very athletic family. She's got a brother playing football you a brother playing football and yep. She she comes by rightly and she is an absolute Fierce competitor. So it's already in the DNA. Yeah. They're well you guys have unique situation you had called Perry Live365 and you guys have an award-winning broadcast set up over there. High school. I was fortunate enough to fill in for your football broadcasters one week when you guys they were out the Kevin derryberry in a band called one of the Perry High School games and you talking about a set of events. They got instant replay. Everything's a little toggle switch right there. It's like it's unbelievable talk about that broadcast program over there. And how much is that benefit dead. You know, how much is that going to benefit you guys going forward especially since there's not going to be a whole lot of fans in attendance. At least at the first of part of when we get things kicked off again. Yeah, that's exactly right. We found out it kind of got confirmed for us yet that we will not have fans in attendance. So that will help us out a lot. I mean we can always it's funny. I'm a little bit of a volley door. So I'm watching college volleyball broadcast whenever I can and some of those are just a stationary camera off the Baseline. No, I left it anyway and.

Congratulations and welcome to the show to the JV Sports show family mom. Yes, Mama Cuvee. So yeah. So anyway, so yeah, that's great. So other things going on in general out in the community just coaches gearing up wanting to get out there itching to get out there schools have opened up obviously is still young, you know for the most part schools are online, but but kids are working out young people are out there working out parents are are itching to get their kids back out there and and stay active in a safe manner. "Sports show James to be alongside. My co-host Vince delisio Vincent Choy busy week here in the Valley of Sun sports are starting to pick up and we are inching closer and closer to what we hope is going to be another high school football season my friend, you know what this week. I spent glued to my phone wage to so many coaches quite a few parents and and you know, just getting a pulse of what's going on around the community kind of different things happening out there James and all centered around these phases phase one phase to phase three and you know, ultimately I I asked said, what is all this stuff mean and it's been out in the news different districts have different interpretations of what they deem as safe as you know, and being able to participate, you know, and obviously phase one social distancing workouts. No football face to you know, could start to use a football you get a little closer do things and and so so far good job. Districts are are you know for the most part around phase two right now there they'll get into a phase three, hopefully next week after and then all bets are off. Yeah, it's going to be interesting. I'm excited to talk one of our guests. Today. We're going to be joined by Cody Cameron from Arizona Varsity that, he's been out over the past couple of weeks fence visiting his different schools, and I'm kind of interested to get his take on how long the mood is with the kids. I know obviously they're excited to get back after it but you know talking to about the safety protocols that are in place and and you notice the social distancing thing and and and how difficult does that so I'm excited to talk Cody this morning. We got a special guests on with it. We got a lot of special guests on and we got a lot of things going on. So, you know stick around thank you so much for joining us and giving us an hour of your Saturday morning. It's a lot of fun and you know, we try to keep light. We try to stay positive. We are our our goal is not to beat anybody up that comes out to show we're honored to have you on his guess. We do ask some questions from time to time because we want to, New Jersey What's going on out there? And and what people's take is on everything that's happening. But we're the eternal optimist James right? Yes. We are. We are sometimes to our own detriment but we are off, you know, but we don't have to be beat people up. That's not the purpose where we don't you know, and and we want to ask the questions that are in everybody's minds but at the same time we you know, we want to stay positive and and that's what we're all about. We like to keep it Loose have fun and and you know, and that's kind of the name game with this show because there's so many negatives out there. I was watching the news this morning and breaking news breaking news. This happened that happened, you know and stuff. Someone got shot someone, you know, I'm tired of that stuff. Let's keep it fun. Let's keep light and let's address some of the issues going on out there and and let's look forward to sports Jim young people getting out there and doing things and having fun and you know and running are broadcast and doing the live stream and people watch and and just have fun with it. Yeah, you get the coaches shows back and all that stuff. We enjoy dog. Doing that stuff so much. So we're looking forward to everything getting back to normal that we hope everyone still continuing to take precautions as they're out and about continue to wear your mask be smart about things wash your hands. Don't touch a bunch of stuff on necessarily just just use common sense really events is what it comes down to yesterday and our second segment. Today. We're going to talk with coach Brian Wagner from the Perry volleyball team. They've been a successful over the past couple of Seasons. So we'll get a an idea of what's going on out there in the East Valley and then we're also going to be talking with Ben Wilson who is a play-by-play voice of the Lady Rebels basketball team up at UNLV he or she calls some soccer with me on Spock talk which is very interesting we're able to do some broadcast from home. So we'll get some insight on that from him and we're also he's got to be telling us a little bit about his broadcasting. Doesn't work with Mountain West Conference. He's been on ESPN doing some baseball for the SEC network. So I'm excited to talk with them and get him on the show here today. I'm curious to you know, I'm really excited to have been Wilson off. Because this here's the guy that you know, he's young guy and been out there grinding and slowly moving up the broadcast chain, but I'm curious to know what the experience has been and I guess can ask you this James as well because as long you're calling games out there now, you're calling international soccer but your college sports and curious about the vibe and curious to get his take. I mean, got imagine people that have never even watched soccer before because there's nothing else on our watching soccer. Yes. Yes indeed and there's no stand. There's no fans in the stands. Obviously. It's down to Nicaragua. So how many ever thousands of miles away that is down in South America, but it's exciting when we have we the audio coming from the field level. So you can hear you can hear everything that's being said on the field level cuz there's no fan crowd noise to distract you for anything so you can get the coaches getting on the players and the players getting on each other and coaching each other up. So it's pretty interesting. You think it would be kind of go home and kind of dead in the background and lifeless, but it's really not it's interesting you brought Price James. I don't know a lot about calling soccer games, but the only job I want is I want to be the guy that yells go back. I would I would almost I would I would pay him to allow me to do that. Yeah. Well, that's that's the whole thing. Yeah. Well, they trickiest part is, you know, you'll be talking about something and then all of a sudden they'll be a goal that happened to us laughing in the game. As a matter of fact, we were kind you know, kosaka. There's a lot of quote dead time if you will because there's a lot of a lot of non goalscoring typically a games, you know, 221-321-1000. So you're talking about stuff and all of a sudden somebody breaks away on 1 and hit you unexpectedly and then you're talking over the goal. So it's interesting but we have a lot of fun with your time. I can't, you know, just to just talk to call a game. That is 109 minute game with one goal scored. I can't even imagine 7:00 tonight Arizona time. So I'll link on our on our JV sportsdrome. Or you guys to check it out TuneIn? Yeah, we providing the English commentary I beg you gotta have me on as a guest some time just so that I can I don't know do that or I don't know if you run out of stuff to talk. I can't even imagine you gotta run out of stuff to talk about. I mean, there's only so many things you can talk about somebody's shoes or you know or the town that they're from but you know over a game like that. So it has some unbelievable information they provide for these games. He has bought stats like I have never seen before so we there is tons to talk about during the game and we somehow fit in a goal or two here and there too. So it's always a good time and we're going to have fun again tonight. So and then we're also going to be talking with Cameron and gets like I said, it's a little temperature check on Arizona High School varsity football. He's been going around the valley over the last week or two and checking out some of these teams as have some of the other High School reporters in the valley. So I'm curious is kind of see what's going on out there. I haven't got a chance to get out there myself yet, but I'm looking forward to hopefully doing that very soon. Great. Well, that's good. That's good. I'm yeah there there are so many high school removed. Hers out there and they all do such a great job at this Cody Cameron. I see his name everywhere. So I'm curious know just he's very deeply embedded into the pulse of what's going on with high school football and curious to hear what his take is and and you know get his opinion. I I'm assuming you know, this guy pretty well James. I've known fairly. Well, he's been on our broadcast a couple of times with me and Kevin over there Red Mountain we have yeah a long time. He's been he was on I think two or three times with his last season and it's great and I just put it just give him my headset and him Kevin just go ahead and I just sit back and eat some popcorn and watch so it's a good time. Good good. Yeah there there are many out there but there are a few that really deeply embedded in the community and obviously, you know, hear names like.

"Who's here with me again? And who still going strong. And I'm so thankful for that. You got to tell you what he's dude. Today at Pop Culture Kosta Wordpress.com. Also his great show topic and of course his book now that a lot of people should have a little bit more time on their hands. Please order his great book. Congratulations Suck. It is my good friend. It Josh Peterson whose I mak is still being fixed. What's up what's I forget? I don't have to actually lean towards my monitor's on my microphone here yet being bigs currently. Hopefully it's working by Sunday and I get back on that sweet sweet hello voice. Yeah as I call it off the Air I call it your radio sexy voice when you got the microphone. Hooked up and everything's working fine on it but you know. Hey I'm glad you're still let you get on the show anyway. You can. We just truly appreciate you doing so. Made every effort to to keep in line with us right here at the pop culture cosmos. And you know this show doesn't run effectively without you in a man's softest glad to have you here hoping everybody is well. Please stay safe and please stay healthy. But the corona virus is the major. Talk the day. And we're GONNA talk about that at the front show so there's all this stuff going on concerns the krona virus of pop culture so give a little bit of update on that this also as well. We're GONNA be talking on the back end about the return of amazing stories and wall. Some of you may not know what that means. We're going to go ahead and detail the latest project. That's now on Apple. Tv plus the also neo to. You didn't know Magno too but it's actually a great video game that's a sequel to another great video game which totally went under the radar as well. We'll talk about neo to coming up here in a bit and we mentioned bloodshot yes. Bloodshot is out in theaters. Yes a movie is actually being released out theaters along with two others. So we'll talk about that and the not so great prospects for the film bloodshot the latest effort from Vin Diesel. And why his career can't get on track when he's not in the car or talking like a tree but Josh. It is the corona virus man as you and I both obscene or the past twenty four forty eight hours. It is completely enveloped this country and over the past weeks. It's in the entire world as far as taking over every aspect of our lives that has actually progressed into our area of expertise right here now pop culture because we're seeing so many different places so many different events so many different facets of the things that we're looking forward to pop culture now get either cancelled delayed or outright just moved off the schedule entirely and that to me is very sad and that to me is very disappointing as someone who loves pop culture. Yeah I mean I'm seeing all these things popping up today in my newsfeed like it was surprising yesterday. Obviously they declared it as an epidemic and it is kind of a pandemic and image sarin. It's kind of going in the opposite direction of what people thought it would people thought by now that You know that curve would be going down but now it seems to just begin worse. It was not surprising. I guess to hear about like sports cancellations but the movie one's really kind of hit a little harder because those that you know that really hits home for a lot of people were if big companies like Disney are canceling releases. Then you know that there are some worried about and like I was talking to Brian Wagner today and he was saying he kept on telling his wife because his wife is from China and she's facing that racial tension from people over this whole virus but he was saying you know as long as Disneyland is still open will be fine and then loan bowl today. They closed down Disneyland so there is a lot going on here. Yes yes so I mean. Movies Disneyland Theme Parks Universal Studios and down. It's it's it's crazy man on like I'm wondering when this is going to end they've also talked about closing Disneyworld as far as major movies. Moulana is now up up up in the air. That was coming out in a couple of weeks. A quiet place part two which was coming out next week. That has been delayed. Fast and furious nine has been delayed. Those are just some of the major movies that are out there that have been delayed or cancelled at this point attack in new mutants to like. That was one that I is just been hit with thing after thing after saying that. What's GONNA probably set up to fail because like you said that had so many delays reissues? Everything of that nature. Plus you've got Broadway that is closed entirely. It's dark right now for one of the few times ever in history the NBA the NHL Professional Golf. There's so many different aspects far sports that have also decided to suspend all games at this point in time. Major League. Baseball has suspended spring training. They've delayed the start of their regular season. I mean we could go on and on and on conventions are appearance at wonder con at your neck of the woods. That was shut down three cents. This week. It's canceled cinema con here in Las. Vegas is cancelled the National Association broadcaster. That's been canceled music festivals. All over the country. They've been canceled progressing events. They've been canceled or modified input into smaller studio locations without an audience. Wrestlemainia is at this point in time as were recording. Still very much up in the air. I'm thinking is not going to be able to get through but again that there's been no official announcement yet because right now. They're state governors and mayors letting people know there's not going to be events being held where there's large gatherings of people it just will not allow this this disease that's going on. It's spreading so quick like wildfire is just not allowing people to go ahead and do what they normally need to get done. So have you been reading about the xfl yes the xfl pits McMahon? Actually suspended games for that. Did he really does last. I heard they were applying. But they weren't letting anyone in the audience so does that was that an update on that that is an update on that is that he suspend operations for the xfl at this point in time it is. He was you know. That's that's the thing. These leagues are deciding to whether or not they should go ahead and play in front of an empty audience or they should go ahead at just spent all right the NBA. I think was the deciding factor for a of these leagues because Rudy Gobert contracted the Kuroda virus after. He was mocking it on Monday by Wednesday. He was sick in his hotel. Room testing positive for the corona virus which set off. A chain of events is teammate. That he is very close to Donovan. Mitchell he also tested positive the next day for Corona virus and that against the chain of events where Commissioner Adam silver had to go ahead at Outright suspend the season at this point in time so I think that showed to the NHL Major League Baseball. And all these other the xfl even to all these other outlets out there out there you know pg golf and all that that it's just not worth the public health into shot there to go ahead and conduct events because you don't want to be that one event that goes and sets off a chain reaction of devastating proportions you know that that's a big thing because like the forty so let me ask you this though. All the sporting industries taken such a big hit like that. How long do you think they can afford to be? Shut down most of them are trying to say at this point and they're going to reevaluate it in thirty days. I mean this is a killer. This and not just affects the League's in the players and the television markets. And all that. Because you'RE NOT GETTING ANY TELEVISION MONEY. You're not getting any attendance money. You're not getting an arena. But it also is a trickle down effect to the employees that work from where everything from the parking to the vending to concessions pretty much every aspect of what you see as a sporting event it's all being affected by it and the cost as far as from a financial standpoint. I mean right now. I've I've probably the best word I could say it's immeasurable because we don't know we've never underground this type of catastrophic event where it's affected worldwide events and we were seeing as far as euroleague soccer. You know you're very well. Aware that soccer is so important to Europe and Asian things of that nature and they've basically either had helped matches in empty arenas or just canceled outright. And you know again. We've seen the financial costs there. We don't even know what we're going into because as a summit already indicated. This is uncharted territory yell I. I really don't know what to expect next. You know like I'm waiting for a a an announcement you know from from the businesses surrounding us like I went to del Taco tonight and there was nobody in their del Taco would not let you touch the hot sauce packets. It will let you touch the the forks the Napkins or even the lids to your drinks on all these businesses. I keep expecting announcements that. They're gonNA close. The grocery store is gonNA close. It's target's GonNa Close. The restaurants are gonNA close. It's it really is. It's you know we're all reacting but I'm I'm wondering what is the solution to it though you know it's like is it gonna hit where this becomes endemic right. We're just become something that we contract. Every day in life goes on or is there. Some kind of plan is the plan. The hope to have these everything like shut down for thirty days and then have that curved The the spread of it and hope that that is. That's that or know. What is the plan going on here? And how long are economies afford to to be shut down? You know. That's the bigger question? What is it going to do to to life as we know it? We're just going into this. This just vast nothing this that you know. There's really nothing we can say that's going to change it until this subsides at least to some extent in the favor of public health. And you're right. Who knows thirty days from now? It's could be absent. Ties also speculated that does you know okay. We all stay in our houses for thirty as never come out and the disease while again. That could happen so we don't even know at this point in time. How effectively deal with the virus? Were just taking guesses in throwing darts and seeing what sticks you know. I'm just hoping for the best for everybody out there. Just again practice. Good Height hygienic habits. And you know a few out there. Just just stay safe. Stay inside listen to hear the pop culture cosmos or any of your favorite podcasts or or watch. Tv or youtube or anything there. Just please if you don't have to go outside please don't do it just released..

And I know that if I were to come up with something of that magnitude, I I certainly would expect that I would be jail for extensive amount of time as well as I totally. And I think it's really a falling for somebody to take the position that they don't think that this guy go to jail. I really think it's really ridiculous. Okay. Point noted. Thank you for your call this morning. Thank you very much. Thank you. Tune up, you know, people feel very passionately one way or the other and a whole lot of people on either side in this case in so many different areas to cover just very quickly here because we got to listen to minute before we have to wrap up just your reaction to the verdict in the El Chapo case because that was free months of testimony more than week deliberations. He's found guilty. Basically. He's facing a guaranteed life in prison. My reaction no-brainer. I would not want to be on that jury because it would scare me personally. But it's no brainer. The government brought a case that was ironclad. And the only issue now is that one of the jurors reportedly stated that they didn't listen to the judge's instructions to not read media accounts. And so we very well might have a retrial that case incredible. Absolutely incredible. I wanna thank you both for joining us, Brian Wagner. Dan, O'Hara from IMO.
