So this is a much bigger and more hyped show from New York City from the Mecca from MSG. With hyped it, we've told you important and that it's important we've sold it like it was important. We've really focused on it. And the tape show from Indiana of the week prior had more viewers. That has to be frustrating. We're on the one hand, you got your chest puffed out man. We set an all time record for revenue with the gate. But not only did nitro beat us, that's not really new, they've been beaten us for a year. But damn our tape show last week had more people watch it. That has to be frustrating, right? Yeah, it's frustrating and it's scratching. Yeah, it's scratching. It's like recently at the Grand Slam event Arthur Ashe, you know, we a great crowd, you know, thousands upon thousands of fans there. But it was an interesting thing. How do you explain that? How do you explain the fact that, you know, nitro excuse me? Hey, W does. What? Around a million viewers. Yes. On a big time hype show that's loaded with 5 title matches. You know, how do you justify how do you explain that? I don't know the answer to that conundrum. I really don't. You'd think that we were providing the audience with what they wanted to see, is all of our top programs, all the titles that were significant, are getting, you know, getting some exposure. So when you don't have those massive numbers that you are hoping for, it's hard to explain why that happened. We got a lot of questions about this show. There's no way we'll get to them all. Let's do a few though. Eric wants to know, what are some of JR's favorite moments in wrestling that took place in Madison Square Garden? Well, personally, I would say I did several angles there. I did a disadvantage of Triple H there. That was upon. And unique. The night that Batista came back and saved me from a match with Triple H was caught a significant to be honest with you. I never really liked being involved in those entering issues. And the reason for that is, not my ego, it's my, I didn't think I was talented enough to pull off some of that stuff. And so, you know, that's kind of the way I saw that deal. That was a big moment. Austin and I versus China, Triple H and the Georgia dome, was a big thing on raw. At least for me, and that's what you asked me. Yeah. So, but that was a big thing. You know, Lawler 9 a tag here, we had a couple of tag matches. On raw on raw. My favorite one was regal and Lance storm, who took great care of us, two highly skilled prose that understood their role as just as I and Laura understood our role. I felt bad for Lawler because of all the partners he could have, he got the worst worker in the hotel crew, so I'm glad that it worked out pretty good. It worked out pretty good. But I'm pleased that they saved some pretty good stuff for me to do in the garden, at least that was my looking at it. You know, they didn't put me in the water so deep I could handle it. It was a different thing than when I was partnering with Lawler against Michael Cole and Jake Hager. It was just a different feel. I caused, you know, I just didn't like the more people involved in the equation for an inexperienced performer like me is unsettling. You know, you're going to be in the right place. You're going to be doing this. You've got to go over here when that happens. You got to do this deal. So it was challenging to say the least, but I had a lot of fun moments in the garden, and again, as a performer, to some degree, which I will say, some degree of eyebrows up, it worked out, it worked out nicely. I didn't like doing them. Because again, I didn't think I was good enough. And I also didn't believe that. That's what you want to do. I mean, it's like, don't screw this up, JR, because again, we're working without a net Conrad. You got an inexperienced guy that has never been officially or trained to do these things. And you're doing it from the world's most famous arena on our number one television show. There's a lot of stress, a lot of pressure there. Especially when you have my play by play rolls, roll to that scenario. So it was an interesting time to say the least, and there were a chance there were some fun things that we did that I had I enjoy being a part of, but all in all, I didn't really feel comfortable doing those things. This caused my skill level. Coaster boy Mike says no question here. I just want to say the last 5 months of 1997 are among the most important in WWF history. I think you could probably go back to the fight in June with Brett and Sean, and then from there forward, that Canadian stampede show in July, that SummerSlam in August where of course we know Austin gets hurt and Brett wins the title. Everything that happened in September, which we've covered between last week and this week, and then we know Brian Tillman is going to pass away and the hill in the sale in October and DX really starts to get some steam. The screwjob in November, man, what a crazy, handful of months here, back to back to back. It was challenging, especially in my town relations role because, you know, talents are uneasy. They're seeing one of their heroes, one of the legends of our entire company ever let go. Essentially, Brett, so it was hard. It was a fun place to work at times during that era. Even though we were building a brand and many of us didn't even realize how important that brand is going to be ended up leading to the company going public. And that was crucial. Financial stability to the operation. But it was hard, man. It was hard. It was hard. I hate to see Brett leave. I missed him.

He's to he's gonna trash cincinnati and boy did he. Holy cow columnists brian. Tillman's sister rosanne and his daughter calling her prego and call him. Bryant bilman juniors on metheny. I like that stuff that you know gust prior i would. I don't know. I mean. I don't know if i would think that dole right like hey i'm gonna lay you. Yeah i i would imagine. It's exciting to just step business in itself. It's like if you take it seriously or in idiot. Yeah and it's it's it's good stuff and if like i said if you don't even know why if you if you don't understand if you don't watch it you know you get mad at your stupid but if you listened to this show the new then obviously understand how there was. Yes social everything. And it's on live television and it gives these people beer. Oh god it's so good and you go in unlike going to like a reds game you go in just to have fun and you know this is all put on And you paid and your entertained. Where if you pay to go see a reds or bengals game. You're gonna pay a lot for beer and you're probably gonna go home upset. Yeah sorry. I like to go home going. That was awesome every single and they taped rampage to before or after right after that. Okay so there were tons of but it was like get out here. So i left right after The moxley suzuki match. Yeah so you know that was a that was Last night stuff. It's kid chris. Show brian combs. What is you know it's funny. I keep hearing All the news of covert. And all that i feel like that's a whole nother world for me. Yeah i think a lot of people feel that way too if you're vaccinated and you feel confident that if you get it you're not going to be too sick. I whole other world. It fifth third arena. Last night was pro wrestling. And i watch it on television and there was a few people mass there but You know they were the characters right. It's feet masks. I mean well christian. I talk about this every morning. Down in covington. There's one of those dry through test sites and there's just a line around the i mean The testing now is is. You know basically can be done at home in any case you can go to any library right now in hamilton county. Get a test kit. Take it home and find out if your positive for covert or not. I did mine at a bar. Y- hervey terry. The little miami schools are in one of the test pilot program to see if they can get kids Back in the classroom and not have to quarantine if they were exposed one way that they're going to do it is through these home tests. And they're going to distribute them the kids pay for them. Give them and You know if you test positive you stay out if you don't you come back in your mask. Yeah okay. I the one thing that i think that disturbing to parents. Yes is that you know your kids can't be vaccinated right. And i was just looking at the numbers for hamilton county in. This is the first time. That i remember. At any point. During the pandemic but the percentage of new cases is now the highest among people under nineteen right and we had not been at that point. I mean obviously the first round it was all people eighty plus great this morning. Twenty two percent of the cases are in teenagers or kids. Yeah while just. Six percent of the cases are in people who are over eighty. Yeah and it's a big changes at the delta variants. You know more contagious to kids are they are have or is it. Just because the kids can't get vaccinated yet right you know and that eighty plus population is their vaccination rate got to the goal of like eighty five percents That's one of the things. I guess that that should cause some alarmed parents. It makes you wonder if the kids are allowed to get vaccinated. They have to do the two shot things or is it because the the tests right now are on the modern pfizer vaccines primarily to show those were to shot. Okay all right. well. I mean i'm fine. I hear children's is working on one. That's not even a shot. Like the the flu mr with us so that they're researching right now to see if that's gonna work well. When's that over with go that the trials underway now. Hopefully it'll be reported out pretty quickly now. I wonder if that'll come out in an emergency role or will it go to fda right away. I would think it'd be emergency. Are okay if it shows. Yeah any kind of promise at all because you you don't wanna wait much longer. We've been waiting now. We i mean the the the study on the shots at children's has been done for a while now and they're just waiting for the paperwork to be finished and presented to the fda for approval and we thought what might happen in september right and now probably over early october. Wow well yeah. I don't know. I have kids so i get scared but one daughter's been well. She got the first one. I don't know what this external do. Yeah know new. And when when and that's just the opening act because there's another.

He might have had more fun doing and he worked in florida awful lot and after living here for a year so now myself you know i can see where they used to the weather and like it. Well we know that this show is not going to be great. It's a smart move set. More flying or chances more amora gymnastics so forth. But i didn't have problem with. I didn't mind because i like the pace. I like the base being somewhat vast. I think much of today's pro wrestling that the pace is too fast. I i tell young talents this all the time and the young talents have may be listening to this show and i know there are a of wrestlers that list our show. We appreciate that 'cause we appreciate what you guys do for our business but the From my place here I just don't know.

Connect the people because these are people that are interested in in a similar. What you do. And they're engaging unlinked and so that's a great place so you're not just finding people that are disengaged you're starting to engage with the right people that love this platform and so you'll easily start conversations outta an awesome. Yeah and that's a really beautiful strategy. Actually i like it. I know it seems to be. I think it's how we talk if an it's how we can we naturally do and it just seems just have to bring into the contest of flooding. Doing and business really. I just love it. I love question here. I've been thinking. Now that i am bringing the conversation trying to bring it into a full close so that everything we have stayed together make sense. I was wondering what are your final thoughts in terms of if you wanted health our enterpreneurs to get started in taking action into social selling so they can take their social selling skills to the next level. What motivation would you have for them so motivation to get started. I would say Done well it is the fastest way to grow your pipeline okay and at a higher level credibility than any kind of cold calling or called outreach. Okay so it's really to focus on the quality and do it well rather than trying to get as many as possible. Pract awesome awesome awesome. Synthetic thank you so much. Title trump with the young bucks are in the battle royal and so of the young bucks win they get to choose their opponents and they basically told us that if they win they are choosing the good brothers the rest of the show next week instead.
