"Okay interesting life. Oh cool. This is a I'm going to have to look into this and maybe are you going to do one of these on your your Zoom calls? I know or maybe I might have missed one if you already did this. Are you going to I'd like a game. The presentations I know you'll put a lot of this into a power point so we can kind of see it. I mean I did want a while ago this strategy continues to evolve kind of like hey things and build, you know different aspects in so I would love to to do that cuz it will help me kind of, you know, make it a little bit more razor focused. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Well, this has been fun Brian. I appreciate the you sharing the knowledge. I know I'm going to definitely have you back on if I know you have a couple of other strategies if people want to kind of connect with you, where's the best place to get to connect with you? You mentioned Facebook. Is that the right place to get with you? Right? I've got I've a Facebook group that's called oddly enough conservative cupcake calls. Okay specific really pretty much focuses on that strategy and then our meetup group has a central Florida options trading. So, okay, and that's the group that where you're you're doing a monthly Zoom call for various and you have different speakers, right? Okay. So for the listeners, I'm going to put going to get those links and page in the description of the weather on YouTube or on the podcast. If you guys want to try to connect in that Facebook group or join the meet-up Brian's got a lot of information. I know I've seen some of the presentations and they're really good and the fact that you have other speakers coming on in the zoom and the zoom presentations is pretty cool too. So I definitely recommend that Faith so well, thanks Brian. I really appreciate you coming on and I'll talk to you soon. Okay. Thanks.

"It would have to decrease significantly in that week. Right? Cuz we're doing weekly set for it to actually go out of the money and you'd be stuck with the stock. So how long do you handle that? Sure. So when I buy a stop say I buy it at $100, you know persevere. I my I have a built a spreadsheet and it builds in basically a dead stop loss level. That's 8% below where I bought the stop. Gotcha. I use that level or the level of my short call depending on which is you know lower. Gotcha, and and I found that you know, if if it sells off that hard you just want to get out of the Traders right? But it it is rarely happened since I really started the strategies. It's happened a few times. It's probably about eighty 85% winners using the strategy and so but I do use a stop loss of about 8% off except for like the Spy cuz I know that you know, I can trade this by forever if I have to. All right. Yeah. It's it's a it's never going to end the Spy, you know, that's an interesting strategies. So I know we've talked about different strategy and you you're much more conservative if you will. So you do consider this a conservative strategy and do I mean because you're not really shooting for a homerun you're hitting like singles basically, right? And then if you go on vacation, you can just skip it right you can't right. That's that's good. So I have to ask you age. You mentioned that your wife trades some of these as she is just the one she trades to I know you told me at one of the meetings a while back that she was doing better than you for a little bit of that go along. Well, I mean, this is the I trade her account. She doesn't trade actually. Okay. So I I called the strategy the Susan strategy game because that's her her name obviously and it has been funding it in, you know many months particularly where it's real volatile or you know choppy strategy has done much better than the credit spreads or a little bit more aggressive strategies. Right? Right interesting. Well, that's really cool that you're able to do you do you talk to her about it? Cuz I know like I my wife is not interested in any of the the technical aspects of it. She she supports and enjoys it and all that stuff, but I can't talk to her dog. The trades he talked to her about what you're doing and he wants to know you know, how it's doing in general right doesn't really care, you know, okay, like what stocks on trading and things like that, right? Yeah. So this is why we have we have Facebook groups and stuff. Right so we can actually talk to people that want to talk us..

"Show. Let us go to Bonnie in in Alaska in in keanae. I think that's a little bit west of where we're going to be on the Mark Stein. Clues KiKi knives. Sort of on the coast halfway between the Yukon, and the Bering straits is that that's the right general part of the world is a bunny. Not too far away, Mark. And if you're a cruise ship stops on the Canadiana, keanae peninsula, I'm gonna stop over and shake your hand. Okay. We'll we'll swing by your place for lunch. I'll I'll I'll I'll head up and stay the ship over the all pad. What's on your mind today? Bernie. I'm calling to hear your thoughts on the phone before. I retired from the Drug Enforcement Administration. I spent ten years working on the Arizona Mexico border with among other people were patrol agent. Brian Terry who was murdered by an night alien down there. So whenever I hear rush talked about the wall, I pay attention. And and rush said last month that forty two percent of the Americans today favor. The construction of the wall last week. There was a poll that said fifty two percent of the Americans favor. The construction of the wall, and I heard rush say twenty five years ago, I've been a long time listener twenty-five years ago, rush at that thirty percent only thirty percent of the Americans favored independence from Britain. And of course, we know how the revolutionary war turned out. My point is that there's more Americans that favor construction of the wall to help save America. Then there was a percentage of America. Who wanted independence from Britain? Religiously you had a caller maybe half an hour ago or so who talked about indoctrination and the campuses. Well, seventeen seventy six we knew who the enemy was the enemy wore red coach the enemies are on the campus or in the classrooms there in the cars when we drive there in our homes twenty four seven and so. What are your thoughts? Marc. Yeah. I I. Well, I said the the the the those numbers about Americans who favored independence from Britain bring up a little bit of unpleasantness for some of us Bonnie, but you are actually right. The New York state, for example, an overwhelming majority of the population in New York state where loyalists and after the revolution a big chunk of them actually up stakes because they were on the losing side and fled north. And if you are on the north shore of Lake Ontario around Kingston all the way over then to Toronto. That's that's sorta loyalists country. In fact, they've got a the main road there is called the loyalist Parkway and the county is called loyalists county. And if you go to beautiful Niagara on the lake they've just put up a band new sign hailing themselves as a prosperous loyalist community. They're the guys who went in favor of the revolution. And as you said about only about thirty percent of the country was of the of the of the thirteen colonies was and that's an important lesson. Because it tells you that it's not a numbers game. It's about where the energy is where the enthusiasm as that makes things happen. It's not just a straight. Fifty one percent. Forty nine percent thing. It's about who has the energy. And my concern is that right now, we have as you say in one poll, we've got fifty two percent of Americans who favor wall, but we have an incredibly energized opposition to the wall, and that opposition to the wall as support in the media, it has support among some of these rinky Dink district court judges to far too many of whom Americans are over deferential. So the wall. So the opponents of the wall may be a minority, but they have a they have a huge amount of energy. And that goes to almost everything Bernie that the liberals and progressives care about they. Too many people on the conservative side shrug about things. It's not that important to me. We'll see plays out. It's never going to happen. It's not a big deal. It's not the hill to dial. And as you said bunny, actually, what matters is not whether you've got fifty one percent of the people. But whether you've got the thirty percent of the people who are fused, an energetic about it and winning to impress there will even upon a majority of their fellows bunny. That's that's a that's an interesting statistic you quoted that. In russia. A couple of today's patriots. So keep up the good work. Thanks. Thanks, buddy. And we will swing by. I don't know whether I'm in a position to hijack a cruise ship add Swigert over the body had keyed. I I actually like that. It's very long time since I've been in that cone of Alaska, so I wouldn't mind saying say how it's how it's changed. It's a terrific part of the world. And as I said Danny makes that's a very good point. You know, it's not just simple arithmetic. It's not about your side is fifty one percent. The other guys have forty nine percent. It's house areas you are. And it's the difference between when Nancy Pelosi was running the house in the fast two years of the Obama administration and the way Paul Ryan ran the house in the first two years of the Trump administration. That's the difference between impressing your will upon. On the nation, regardless of whether anybody wants it or not Mark Stein. In for rush. We'll close things out in just a moment. "The people for which arrest warrants are issued are people who are criminals and in this case if you've issued the arrest warrant it's probably because the person was accused of a crime they were told to show up in court they didn't show show up in court and failure to appear almost automatically get you an arrest warrant issued why in the world with the obama administration have said let's take those five hundred thousand names off the national instant criminal background check system if not to do this we i believe that during fast and furious the obama administration shipped guns illegally into mexico twenty five hundred of them some were used to kill people but mexican nationals and at least two brian terry and a few other americans who died because those guns a lot of us believe that the reason they did that was to try to give a justification for new gun laws they wanted to make the case for it and one way to do is say look look what's happening because we don't have these laws the same effect could be had if you take a bunch of people off the national instant background check system the person buys a gun then they get picked up by the police in some other criminal activity there are already a fugitive they're likely to get picked up again for committing other crimes and at that point when they're found with a gun you say how this guy get the gun well the national instant checks system failed it appears failed because the obama administration agreed to take five hundred thousand names off of it now do you think the barack obama would go that far to try to make a case for no more onerous gun laws i think he would i think he did with fast and furious i think he did with this move is well anyway it's first amendment friday eight six six hey lars that's eight six six four three nine five to seven seven emails go to talk at lars larson dot com let's go to.

"Exactly the opposite though we're doing everything we can to continue to provide public safety and we're continuing to work with our immigration enforcement partners but we're not going to have them coerced us into doing things that they want us to do simply because they don't wanna dunes themselves but you're saying you're working with your aggression partners one of the law is at issue prohibits local law enforcement from alerting immigration agents would detainees are released from custody emin couldn't that create the opportunity is as a lot of credit suggests for dangerous criminals who were in the country illegally to just disappearance slip through the cracks i mean want why not alert federal authorities of a detainee being released they have that information it's available to the public that's nothing that were stopping the from getting they can have that information if they want it because our folks are are very busy trying to make sure that dui public safety around the state we don't have to do their immigration were for the immigration officials if they want to pay us to do some work they want to give us resources to take up some of the the jobs that they're not willing to do that would be a different they perhaps victor we've decided that will we wanted to his focus on to a public safety not immigration enforcement no i see so if they want to pay you to do your job then you'll do it the you know the sarah's unbelievable he was unbelievable before he became the attorney general that he has become even more unbelievable sense look set not too good though for uh the obama administration in uh you know there is said now going to be some investigation and some something's got to come out of all of these emails an an and documents that are going to be released today and those are regarding the fast and furious which is good for brian terry's family you know the border patrol agent who was killed by a gun that the the last administration i basically given over to drug cartels in this stupid fast and furious uh you know uh a program that's that's about to become public knowledge and it's about time and that that act earned earned the attorney general holder a contempt citation from congress so i'm sure that uh he's probably not feeling too comfortable today an as rightfully he shouldn't.
