"I've been thinking about the ramifications of this and it's just not something that computes in my brain. You know, you're thinking, okay, what if Derek Carr is a season like this or someone, you know, guys that can really start shuffling the pieces in the dominoes. But like, you know, okay, what if Geno Smith is like the 12th best quarterback in the NFL? What happens? Like, that has big time ramifications. You're Ben mcadoo fanfic, really just takes on a whole life of its own at this point. The alternate universe where he gets Gino Smith as his starting quarterback and things end up okay with a giants. Ran up against the Manning cabal in that one. And just they shut big bend down and Gino and they had, this was what it was supposed to look like giants fans, but instead but yeah, ugly game, which has been a giant's trademark at that point, but boy like we talked about. There are some young players on this team that are playing extraordinarily well. And you can't be upset, I think it's 6 and two if you're them, right? I mean. This is so much better than you thought you were going to be. You're getting some decent plays out of some out of some of these younger guys. They're playing bigger than themselves and Daniel Jones doesn't look like a clown out there. You know, I think everything looks like every Sunday it looks like a professional football game. And that's really good. That's important to say right now. Again, we don't have to play this game with every team, especially the Giants, but I'm sure we'll play it a few more times this year, but you know, when you were coming to the season, if it was like, okay, here's the Giants rosser. Oh, also like kaderi Tony's gonna be a complete non factor and they're gonna trade them for draft picks later. Also Sterling shepherd's gonna tear his ACL Kenny gallaudet is still gonna be complete non factor. It's gonna be basically Darius Leighton David sills and just a bunch of street free agents. Marcus Johnson, like guys of that ilk, you'd be like, I don't know, that's a four win team. And it'd be like, well, what if they went 6 and 11, you'd be like, oh, it's a nice year for Brian table. And they're sitting at 62 right now. They could lose out. And it would still be like, yeah, I don't know, this was still better than reasonably you could have expected. Yeah, I completely agree. I mean, a lot of times that I pick records, you know, you think about, oh, well, you know, would a coach not take offense to it because I don't really care, but like coaches and teams do read this stuff. Our. Predictions are red, Gary. I'm just gonna let you know that. They are red, people are taking note. But and sometimes I'm like, ah, if that guy saw that, do you think he'd be mad? And honestly, like I thought about it. I picked the giant single 5 and 12 this year. And I was like, yeah, I mean, I think they'd be pretty excited about that.

"They are unreal. The play calling in this football game, I mean, look, these are two good defensive coordinators in Kansas City and buffalo, Leslie Frazier. I'm blanking on the guy's name. He coached the rams. Steve spagnolo, and Kate city. I knew his name. I did know it. I just couldn't remember for a second. These are good defensive coordinators. I might become head coaches and they I mean, look, Brian Dale and Eric gave me were dialing up great play call after great play golf to great play calls. It was kind of headache inducing to watch. It was like, this is just amazing offensive football. And I think both guys, Brian table and Eric B enemy are gonna become probably head coaches during this off season. I would be shocked if Brian Gable didn't leave. And I want to give a special shout out to the Kansas City offensive coordinator, Eric B enemy, because the chief's offense does so many different things. There was a play where it was fourth down and they ran play action and then like a sprint right where mahomes flipped the ball to jerick McKinnon. I don't even know how to describe that play. It was crazy play to sign. Or think of how many times watching Kansas City this year, you saw Blake bell or Travis Kelce, take a snap under center or in the shotgun at quarterback. Or all these crazy screens and looks in the wild play designs. I mean, the underhand flips. Like they do so many different things and if so many multiple looks in Kansas City and really what that's a testament to is great coaching. You got to give credit to Eric the enemy because it's one thing to have cool ideas. Like you can draw up a good idea on paper. A lot of people can go, what if we did this and what if we did that? I think of in Dallas a little while ago where they tried to run a trick play where you threw a slant and the receivers crossing the field then through a lateral back across the other side of the field and it's one thing to call it. It's another thing to actually execute the play at a high level. Kansas City to their credit. Not only do they call a lot of crazy wild impressive different looks, but they execute them at a really, really high level. And that is a testament. To the discipline and the great coaching at in Kansas City, especially with Eric B enemy, that's executing at a really high level. And I really, really, respect and admire what's going on in Kansas City this year, especially with the way they call plays and the way they execute those kind of crazy plays they call. Now, I want to give a tip of my cap to buffalo because. I.

"The full day? Sure. And your your shopping the day before. If you're in the camper a lot If you have a boss that you drive, you know you've got groups of 20 friends that All pile into the boss that they bought for $300.08 years ago. Yeah. You know, like it's an experience. It's It's um it's just great and to have Sunday will be It'll be the best day of the year. It will be the best day of the year to have everybody there. Everybody will just kind of, you know. Look around and see How great is it to be back? You know how great to be back here at the stadium. I think For me. I'm not. I'm not going to go on and on about the nineties because I'll just bore people to death. But for me last season I got here in 89. There was Rob, who called us. I apologize if I got the name wrong. I got here in 89. Okay, so I got here as as things are really cooking or beginning well, After 89, But I thought last year Jeremy reminded me. I kept wondering, Is this what it was like? And like, maybe the couple years prior like 86 87. Okay. Kelly finally comes out of the USFL. You know, polling in this year they bring in Marv. They're not winning yet, but they're putting the pieces together. They got their franchise quarterback They got there. They already had their receiver. They had their stud defensive player. Oh, my gosh. They traded for Cornelius Bennett. They draft Thurman Thomas and then to me, I felt like last year, I wondered if that was like it felt to be a bills fan in 88 where you knew something. They win the division that year. Uh and they go to the championship and they lose to the Bangles. Now it doesn't go well. The next year they get bounced in the wild card, and then we know what happened. So I thought to me I didn't experience that. Yes, experienced the Super Bowl years and I mean I can't tell you how much fun that was. I hope that happens again. So with a win so people can experience that, But I thought I wonder if this is what it was like when you were there. You saw developing. You're there on the ground floor. I come to town. They're good, but to be there at the start when they go from two and 14, 2 and 14, 4 and 12, I think in Kelly's first year And then 87 was a strike year and then you win the division and you tear the goalpost down like that. Must have been a really cool feeling. I think that was last season. I'm guessing for a number of people. Um, either you go through it again. Or I think this is what it would have been like you feel We're on the brink of something special, and this is going to be for a few years. This is not a fluky one year thing. Right, GM, Right coach, Right quarterback, Right Players, talented roster. Let's go and then it, you know, Hopefully this leads to yes, a decade of being in the playoffs and being a Super Bowl contender every year because it really was up last Let's improve the game plan, Shall we? This is something going on a regular basis Football Friday. Improve the game plan. Brought to you by Bath fitter. Improve your bath in one day with bath fitter. It just fits bath fitter buffalo dot com. Uh, I did some research here because I think you would want to talk about I'm guessing you're talking about Hey, throw the ball bills, uh, passing game Briand able, utilizing that attack that philosophy from last year Josh Allen, the deep weapons against a secondary at least the corners where you surely can, I think have a big edge in the matchups on Sunday. So remember, the Steelers lost Mike Hilton in the off season. They lost Steve Nelson in the off season. Joe Haden's Their number one cornerback. Probably not going to be able to cover Stefon Diggs. Uh, Cam Sutton is okay. He might be a slot guy on the nickel, but their depth at cornerback is very suspect Good at safety. Especially Minka Fitzpatrick, but depth at quarterback very suspect and I would think there's going to be a lot of trouble for Pittsburgh to match up with the depth of the Bills wide receivers on Sunday. I'm not telling you anything that Brian Table doesn't know already, by the way, but yes, throw the ball. Um, make sure Josh is protected. You know, you got to worry about what Uh, Melvin Ingram is on the Steelers now this season. Um, they don't have stuff onto it. That helps, but they have a good front seven. But I think you can take advantage of the matchups with your receivers in this game plan against the Pittsburgh Steelers secondary on Sunday, which again is not a big surprise. No one expects the bills come out and try and run the ball. Right? Why come out and establish the run? I just if they were going to do that, maybe they watched the game last night and saw 700 passing yards and 100 rushing yards combined. So throw the ball there, Mr Dabble and throw it at their cornerbacks. That's improving the game. By the way. One other thing in terms of the game plan to watch out for is the Steelers offensive line. Okay, that's they blew up their line in the off season. So they're going to start a rookie left tackle. A rookie center. And a left guard who has four career starts on his resume. And the right tackle by reading this from reading all the Steelers stories this week. Jeremy, Everybody's talking about how the right tackle probably is better suited to be at the left tackle spot, but they need him on the right side, so they're going to start the rookie at left tackle. So I think You know, you have some areas of question big questions on the Steelers offensive line. That doesn't mean sacks folks, because if they're smart, they're going to have Ben Roethlisberger at the ball out in two seconds. But this could be a game where maybe Najee Harris doesn't find a lot of room to run. And maybe Rothenberger is under constant pressure because that line is a work in progress for Pittsburgh. That's all I got for the game. What else? It's almost to get through this segment. Oh, uh You wanted to promote I'm supposed to. You want to bring up something? I have no idea what we're talking about. Yes. So apparently I got sent a video. Uh, W George tweeted it out Niagara Metals. Has, uh, destroyed a Pittsburgh Steelers car to go. There's like an SUV. It's in Pittsburgh on it, and they lift it up and they smash it around with the giant thing that smashes, you know, cars and other things. Um, I gotta go. Look, this is and So I'm watching them, like, drop us. I mean, whatever this thing is on the Pittsburgh we tweeted off. He wants to have it. I'm garnered. Yeah, it's funny. You asked me What is Niagara Metal? I had no Britain said Jeremy wants to mention Niagara Metals. And I thought, Okay, What is it? Okay, so very quickly. It's it's It's one of these things that when you become The kids would say, And I might say, like adult ng Non metals is located in the city. At least one of them is like right by the Wegmans on Amherst Street. Um by U B. It's tucked away. And if you ever I've done this a few times if you ever have, like, Oh, we got a new stove. What do I do with the old stove? You throw it in the back of a truck driver to Niagara Metals and drop it got it. They'll weigh it. And then they'll give you money for the material, right?.

"When they throw the Gronk why I will. I will. I don't know if you'll specifically or just I feel insulted a little bit, because yeah, and Antonio Brown to Brady goes down to Tampa, and he joins Evans and God when those guys are great, you know, and they thrown all over the place like man. Look at this guy. He's got great receivers and then Gronk shows up out of retirement. And they're just throwing vintage Gronk passes like it's 2000 and six. Yeah, and without him in the year or how long ago? I don't know. 2010. What? I don't know what year it is anything all blend in with the Patriots. They're just it might you might as well be in a time machine watching him throw these perfect passes to Gronk and Gronk Man handling defenders. And you think You're supposed to be retired man. Yeah, he was. He was kind of give give, give the rest of us a chance out here and then he starts throwing touchdowns. Antonio Brown. And you're just like Wait a minute he was supposed to. He's supposed to be not playing. He's not supposed to be playing and Brady is supposed to somehow explode the bucks because they bring in Antonio Brown, who is so volatile in these terrible and what he catches touchdowns, too. Anyway. Brady's supposed to actually be retired. Right now. The whole thing is just it's an attack. On your senses. At least he's in the NFC, Uh, on our Western hotline we mentioned back for another season with us on both football Friday and bills football. Monday is bills play by play man, John Murphy, and his segment is brought to you by Sullivan's Brewing company from Ireland. Buffalo, the best sales in the world. By done, tire official tire, the Buffalo Bills by North West Bank Greece and value of you. It's been a while. Welcome back, sir. And happy football season to you. Good morning. Yeah. Happy football season you It has been a while. I'm excited to be back with you guys. I think it's funny, Murph. You know I will get into the game, of course, but we had Iron eagle on the other day, and I'm going to make my first question to you. The same as it is, was for him because Fans think about being there. Devin Singletary was on earlier this hour talking about how they can't wait to hear the fans on Sunday. And I know broadcasters feed off that, too. For play by play people. A full house is heaven. Yeah, no question. You know, I had a I was thinking about that this week. They're usually when the games are allowed in Orchard Park, which they use the are there comes a point in the game. There has come a point, not every game, but many games were I will. You know the color man, whether it's Eric or whoever will be talking, and now I know it's loud, So I take my headset off just so I can hear the crowd and I look and realize I see you know Eric lips moving, but they can't hear them without the headset on. I mean, that's how noisy it is. And I always laughed at myself, Man. How noisy is this place? This guy is three ft away or six ft, I guess socially distant and I can't even everybody's saying, but I look forward to that moment whenever it comes. On Sunday. It'll be fun to have that noise that and and have that passion and that energy in the stands. That would be really fun to get that back again. It was It was definitely missed last year. So what do you think it Murph Mid February you're calling a bills game in Sofi Stadium. Yeah. I mean, it could happen right there a legitimate Super Bowl contender. A lot of things. You have to go their way. And you know, there'll be some bumps in the road, but they are set up. Well, there. They've got a great roster. They've got a good program. They you know they haven't played yet, but they have always seemed to be Focused and ready to play under Sean McDermott. I mean, everything's in place they just need, you know, they need to stay healthy. They need a little bit of luck plays into it. But sure that's that's the season could end their absolutely When you look at this team, we were just talking about Tampa right and how that passing game Brady and all the weapons he has once again. Where, if when you look at the bills? Uh, if you had to list the strengths, I assume number one would be Josh Allen comma. Group of receivers something about their passing game, right the depth and the talent in that part of their offense. Yeah, I think that's obvious Bill strength. Um, you know the passing game it was last year, and they're prolific offense. I'll tell you one thing that I think has been a little bit overlooked. At least underplayed is But how important it is and what a benefit it is to get the coaches everybody back for another year. I mean for Josh Allen to go into his fourth year now with Brian Table as his coordinator, and his what third year with Ken Dorsey. And that means a lot. I think the Josh into the offense in general, there's a certain familiarity. Yes, but there's also, uh, you know, they have a base built that was built over a couple years and they can expand on it this year and You know, when you get Brian Gable that much of a base to build upon, he can really get creative. I look for a lot more of that coming up this season. But, yeah, that's their strength offense and putting points on the board. They averaged 31 points a game last year. If there is a question, or are questions you have about the bills, whether it's a An aspect of play murder for a particular position. What would it or they be?.

"To Mitchell Travis Key strengths, which are short to intermediate rhythm passing game with easy reads. And he did that. He gave him exactly the kinds of things where he can excel both with his physical abilities and his decision making so another feather in the cap. For Brian Table from last Saturday's game. Zack on the Tweet sheet, says the old line looks good and Singletary looks decisive in the 2nd and 3rd levels. He's always hit the whole pretty well, but I feel like he was always trying to make unnecessary cuts down field or running to the middle of the field when he should be angling to the sideline. Um I think that probably speaks to some degree. Maddie, too, has improved short area quickness. I mean, he was always elusive. We know that, but I think it's his burst. That makes him even more elusive now. Yeah, It's definitely that burst that we've been seeing through training camp that strength. I think that you have that burst because you have that strength. Um, like we talked about earlier, He's someone who worked on his speed in the off season. He feels like he's the strongest he's ever been heading into training camp and the preseason, So it was definitely nice to see that Out of him and how he was able to break off some of those runs again. Miss tackles in some areas, but still he had to make it work, and he did in a lot of ways when he was fed the ball, whether that was carrying or or being passed the ball in the offensive line. Yeah, the offensive line looks good. I am really pumped about the depth. We have an offensive line. I thought we had great depth. That offensive line last season, and I think we do this season as well. I mean last season, we saw Carter's go out. We saw depth guys roll in and and the offensive line picked up where it left off, and it didn't really feel like they ever missed a beat when they were without key starters, and I feel the same way about that group this year. It's a It's a group who Doesn't have a bunch of new players are part of it. I mean, of course, you add the rookies in there. Um, but we haven't seen all the starters in preseason. I don't think we will. But it's nice to know the depth that this that this position group has. Um, and it was also good to see Spencer Brown have a good game, working on the other side of the offensive line, just showing what he can offer and the skill set that he has as a rookie being thrown into the fire early. Yeah, and he played right tackle predominantly at northern Iowa, so it was probably no big deal to flip over there. His transition has been flipping things to the left side, where he's been You know, for a good portion of camp getting used to that side where you have to kind of Reverse your whole mindset with all your techniques and whatnot. And like you pointed out, really the injury problems were from guard to guard last year. Fortunately for the bills, the tackle stayed healthy. Pretty much all season long. It was the guard to guard that was a mess. Um Like butter, For example, That guy wasn't a starter at this time last year. He comes in plays like Think. Seven. Get seven starts last year, and now he's in the running to be a starting guard. So You know, you think about some of those things that happened to the bills from guard to guard last year. It may actually end up working out for the better this year because you have that much more depth and not only depth but depth with playing experience. Which is even more valuable so hopefully that bears itself out if it is needed bills fan 12 to 83 Maddie touches on something we just discussed. Singletary, quick and decisive. Russo and AJ set to break out and we have one of the best coaching staff slash front offices in the league. Most of the starters sat and we steamrolled Chicago, much like in week 17 against the Dolphins. Having your depth ready for those situations is all coaching. That's just what I was talking about. When you have your roster top to bottom, ready to play. That is coaching 100%. I mean, there's some staffs that just don't do it, and, um He just had his many. The Bears were one of those examples. Mm yeah. No training camp practices, at least for the Buffalo Bills. Bills are very fair in the terms of reps that they're giving different guys from the starters, second string, third string and beyond. They are rotating players out constantly and getting like you said the entire roster ready for the season. You never know when someone's going to come out. You never know when someone is going to have to come in, and I think it says a lot about the second half of the roster being ready in case their name is called. Week. One week two. You, you name it. These guys are going to be ready because of how they prepared and how they played in training camp. Yeah, last one here from Vito before we get to NFL true false. His team's probably deeper on the roster than any other in the NFL. I wouldn't be surprised if we release four or five guys that immediately gets signed to 53 Man rosters. I think it's safe to say Manny that Whoever the released players are when they get down to 53. Other teams in this league that are short at certain positions are gonna be going through these roster cuts with a fine tooth comb looking for pickups. Yeah, I think you'll be able to find a lot of that on the bills roster. Guys like it cut. We've been saying it since the beginning of training camp, especially with the wide receiver group. And I think that extends beyond based on what we've seen The first two preseason games is that there is a lot of position groups on this team that have Players. That won't be a part of the 53 Man roster that have the opportunity to to go out and to make it 53 elsewhere. Like Sean McDermott said. These preseason games aren't just to try out for the Buffalo bills or try out for for the entire NFL. Absolutely time. Now for some NFL true false, you ready, Maddie? I'm ready. Let's do it. All right, So n f l true false brought to you by Yancey's fancy New York's artisan cheese. And we begin with this something we touched on earlier in the show. The Jets need to make a trade for a pass rusher following Carl Lawson's injury True or false. Yeah. I think that's pretty obvious. I'm going to say true you don't have Carl Lawson, who is a really great player..

"And so, you know, you put all those things together, Nick off, I think. And I'm not just, I'm not a Patriots Homer. Everybody knows that. And I wouldn't just be saying this. I do think that the Patriots, if they get good quarterback play, I think that they, they could contend with the bills all season long and I think that the AFC East could be really tight. I think the bills are the favourites, they've got the best quarterback and and as we know when you look across the NFL, usually if you have the best quarterback in the division that gives you the best chance to win. So I would say they're the favorites. I don't like the word heavy. I don't know if they're significant. Favorites, heavy favorites, huge favorites. I would say their favorites. I think they can be better defensively. Milano had some injury issues last year he should help if he's out there for all Seventeen. Their offensive line has been a somewhat inconsistent. If you look at Pro Football Focus they have them in the top half. They've got him at like thirteen or fourteen as far as rankings go for that offensive line. So I do think they have some room to grow up front page. They're not Flawless and there is opportunity Greg as you point out. The biggest thing to me is Josh Allen and Brian table, will they suffer some kind of regression if you look in past years..

"So like fringe RB, you are be brief, and I do think that that's me trying to be modest for exact Ma. But I mean, when we're looking at his abilities take over the back field. I think that out of all of you guys drafted in that range, you have to assume that he has the highest likelihood of taking over the back field and For me. I would be comfortable taking him as my second or third running back off the board because I think the potential for volume is there. Is Kate Madueke earlier this afternoon with Sneaky Jolie fantasy. Uh, conversation fulfilled Fantasy quotient for this afternoon showed mikes off today. Talking about Zack Moss, their bills running back. I am. I am the bulldog. As I said, Mike is off. Uh, Sal carpaccio is in for Mike. Sneaky Joe is along as well. And, um, I don't know, seeing as we've been led into the conversation. How about running back sale? Like what? What do you What do you suppose? Is the lay of the land there? They didn't draft Travis et end. Something that I advocated for. Didn't even have the chance to do it as he got picked a few pics before the bills were able to pick at 30th. So they're running it back with Matt Brita Added to the mix. Like what? What do you What do you think Running back will end up looking like I still think it's going to be mostly, you know, Singletary in Boston, if you want to say one a one b. I'm not really sure. I can't see Zach Masters taking over Devin Singletary. But I do know that as the season went on last year kind of was going in that direction. It seemed like it. I don't think it's either way though. It's it's kind of minimal. They're not going to be this run Heavy team as Brian Table said, You know, when he last spoke with us during OTAs. He doesn't have. It's not like they need to run the ball more necessarily. Just have to be able to do it well when you need to be able to do it, and I do think that's their mantra. I don't think he's lying in any regard, although I know that Brandon Beane has said, you know they wanted to improve. He didn't lay it at the feet of the running backs and or into the offensive line. It's just a lot of things that go into it, so I think it'll be running back by committee. They'll use certain guys in certain situations and then as they will even admit it to like. Sometimes it's a hot hand now as far as Brita I think he's more of Want to guard against calling the gadget player Bulldog, but I think there will be certain packages in situations they will specifically have designed for him in every game plan. Okay, Interesting. He is. He is the speed element, right? I mean, that's what we're talking about with him. That's that's his His chief trait. Is that the wheels so you know that was something that I talked about right after the bills lost to the Chiefs was increasing the speed. We'll see how much Brita ends up impacting that, because outside of him And the sixth round receiver they picked. Um there really is not any any import of speed on this offense, right? Um, that's right. I mean, Emmanuel Sanders is not that said even a downgrade from speed If you wanna go from John Brown to Emmanuel Sanders, but they that's right now, Gabriel Davis has better speed than people think. And maybe he's on the field more so that would help you. Right, but but he's not. He's not a top end burner, but he can definitely get behind the defense. Probably better than people realize because of his size. Um yeah, that's right. Stevenson is really the only as you put it. Import of speed, and that came as a later round pick in the draft and To be honest with you like I'd put the chances less than 50 50. He's even under the GameDay roster, the active roster at the end of camp, I see it more as a practice squad player who could probably clear waivers and get a redshirt year. Right. So, um, of course, Allen is in the center of all of this, however much better they want to run the ball. I don't think anyone really is stumping for them to run the ball more often, like you're alluding to, like, just want to be more effective when they do it, And that's because Alan, it was so good last year, and that's that's really how this offense made their bones. Um, on Ellen, but the contract extension we started here back at three o'clock, and I've been meaning to revisit. This conversation, because I It's a conversation that I like. It's one that I think about, Um I don't want to overdo it, but it it pops into my head. Just the dynamic changing Josh Allen with the fans and just once he has, I guess for lack of a better way to put it the pressure of the big contract right? Like you know, from years and years of following sports sale and of course, now in your job covering sports. That as soon as a player starts getting paid when when it doesn't go well, even for a game or whatever right you do get why I'm paying How much for that, like it's a very natural. This is not I'm not accusing fans are being unfair about it. I mean, it's just the reality is it changes the equation? When a guy goes from Making, you know his rookie contract, which is still of course, like, you know, life changing money to you and me but goes from, you know, rookie deal to second highest paid quarterback in the league say which is you know what I might guess Alan becomes. I wouldn't predict that he gets paid more per year than Patrick Mahomes. But I wouldn't be surprised if he slots in right behind him with the kind of year he had last year. If they do this contract, I expect that right. Okay, that changes things. Um, and the the amount of like pressure and expectation. If you go from being like, sort of plucky, underdog guy who's shutting up the critics to Oh, I guess you better just be ready to carry this franchise on your back every year now, and that is just decidedly inarguably a very different dynamic than what Alan Has experienced this point in his career, right? I do that. I do that as a fan, much less as someone covering a team. I do it with Giancarlo Stanton, as you know, right? I I didn't like the deal when it happened, and I'm like every time the guy is up in a big situation, I'm like, Dude, you're getting paid this money. You're supposed to be this guy who is in the middle of this order who is supposed to deliver and he doesn't and that comes with that. If Geo or shell is up there in that situation, I'm not as heard on him because he's g or shell. And he's not making that kind of money. When you have When you have that contract. Those are the expectations that come along with it and Yes, Josh Allen is going to go from it's going to go in a different conversation. Not only with bills fans, but I think around the country, of course, right. I mean, football analysts, NFL people fans. When fans see that contract non bills fans, I'm saying when media see that contract he gets paid. Suddenly he's going to be talked about as hey, You know, this is a guy now who's expected to compete for championships every year. They are paying him as a Super Bowl winning MVP type of quarterback. Right? How what kind of feel if at all do you have for Josh Allen being equipped to handle that. I think he's very equipped. I think he's well grounded. Um, I think Josh has had really to work for everything he's had. Um, I think he's really, really handled that criticism that we've talked about so often. Great, You know, I mean, like people, some some don't. Um, you know, they let that get to and they let that bother them. I think he hears it. I think he knows it..

"You know about him and about them, Of course. And, you know, I feel like every every other day I have an opportunity to like, Make a point. About what? It's just been the one year so you know, you never know. Like how. I don't know how bulletproof should we feel about Josh Alan right now. I think that he definitely if you look at the sort of underneath numbers like how he was in clean pockets, compared the pressure or how he was on first down compared to 13. There really aren't indications that Josh Palin's performance last year was like made up of just really good performance in very variable situation. So I mean, natural trends suggest that he's going to come back to Earth a little bit. But my guess is he's still going to be pretty good. I will be shocked if Josh Allen is not one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the league next year, even if he's not the third best quarterback like he was last year. And Erin. They do bring back almost everybody, like the offensive coordinator might have sounded like a foregone conclusion that he would leave. I mean, there was there were head coaching rumors. And that that's right up. I mean, they went. They played three games, and it didn't happen for him like it didn't happen for Kansas City's got either, so it feels like a big deal. I mean, he was excellent and a big part of their success. Absolutely. There are some. There were some really weird hiring this year. The fact that like Nick Syriani, or I can't even remember the name of the guy who is hired by Houston got hired ahead of either the enemy from Kansas City or Brian Table is really strange. But yeah, the gang is back together. I mean, the one thing they're missing is John Brown and Emmanuel Sanders is not the speed threat that John Brown is, But he's you know. Ah, pretty good guy that have essentially your fourth receiver. So you know, like You know, I talk about regression trends and things like that. But as far as like the actual personnel on the field out since it looks like it did last year. Erin shots with US football outsiders. So who's the second best team there? Well, we have. I mean, I will say that right now, In our projection of the second best team in the NFC East. Yes, I would have New England. I would have New England because New England is having so much defensive talent. So we do this thing that is included in our defense of projection system that's based on approximate value from the website. Pro football rest. And last year, the Patriots lost more defense of approximate value than any team in the last 18 years, which is how long we practice. This year, the Patriots are adding back. Maura approximate value on defense than any team in the last 18 years. Right. And that was that was free agency departures and opt outs, right? I mean, the opt outs were were a big probably Well, you tell me. Were they a big factor? It seems like they lost some important guys to opt outs. Got a high tower in particular Dont'a Hightower is huge, and his return is gonna be huge. But this year that the guys who opted out The other main one was Patrick Chung. And he retired. So really, they're just getting back high tower. But you ad match you. Don you add Henry Anderson, you add divine God show you add Jalen Mill. You lose a couple of guys like Jason McCourty, but they just they've returned and added so much defense talent. But I think the Patriots are going to go back to having one of the top defense is in the lead defense is air harder to predict that offenses. Based on what we know about defense, the Patriots are likely to have another really good defense that will help balance out the fact that we have no belief that we should expect anything above average out of their office. Well, what Cam Newton looks like is one of my I find it the one of most interesting questions in the NFL. I mean, you've got Belichick and the career that, he said. It just seems that there's just there's not gonna fool around right, like Newton look bad at times, Aaron and Just you got to give him you gotta give Belichick some benefit of the doubt here that he thinks He's going to get a lot better out of Newton, and there are reasons to think that but I don't know. It's just it's such a key question. Plus the Mack Jones pick. I feel like that team is, of course, going to play to win. I think it probably has to start with Newton. I just don't have my hands, hands around what they really expect him to look like what they expect from him. There's two things. The first is, How much was he hurt last year by the talent around him by the fact that he was throwing toe not great receivers with no tight ends whatsoever. On Now he's got much better weaponry. The other is was he heavily affected by Kobe? Because, remember, Newt look really good in the first couple weeks season. Remember that game against Seattle on national TV, and then he came back from having covert and he looked like terrible. Well, I guess what do you How do you feel about What their confidence level is in him. Does this They signed him? Yes, It's not for a lot of money. What do you think they expect? I think that they would like to see him be the start of the whole year, but that they In the modern NFL teams are ready to go to the rookie, and I don't think it makes. I don't know the Patriots already different just because we've never seen them with a rookie quarterback who was a topic like this. I think they're ready to go to the rookie if they have to the reports out of him in O T. A for all that that matters have been good that he's you know that he's understanding the offense quickly. You think if Duden struggles, the Patriots will not be afraid to go To Mack Jones, especially because they believe that they have a top defense. And I think that they will have a top defense once again this year. What did you think of the pic? I mean, the draft lead up to the draft is so wild, all kinds of different rumors. San Francisco was supposed to be hot for him. They say they never were. You have New Orleans rumors? You expect New England to get whichever the fifth guy would be if the draft went the way it went on. And what do you know about Jones? That would make you confident or not confident. Seeking has a Patriots fan myself. My rooting interest was that I wanted the Patriots to trade up and take Justin Field. That being said that that didn't happen. I think Think back. Jones was the fifth of the five first down prospect of first round prospect, but he was a first round prospect. And when you can have a first round prospect like that, who probably would have gone in the top 10 in some years dropped you with 15 without having to trade anything. That's a good pick. I don't think he isn't likely to become a star as the other quarterbacks that were taken ahead of him. But there is a good chance you It's so important to have a good young quarterback that when you need a good young quarterback, you have to take the chance on a good young quarterback, and the Patriots needed it. And they took that chance..

"Think Urban's really well set up for that. Bringing in guys like Darryl Bevel on offense. Brian Schottenheimer is the past game coordinator. This is a lot of mind that I've worked with a lot of young players and had a lot of success, and you know, in urban everywhere he's been he's won. I know we all remember that he wanted Ohio State that he wanted Florida but he wanted bowling green, and he wanted Utah in a way that those two programs have number one cent. So I just feel like it can work there and with Trevor and cap space and picks and all that, Um, I don't know I'm about somebody's excited for this opportunity is one of the guys I've worked with you is, you know, a first round pick, but he's excited for this opportunity is I've been about about anybody's Palmer, My guest woman thought about that he he did throw on Friday, but he's gonna need surgery on that left shoulder for those who do not know what does the surgery address? And how does that impact the way you work with him in the coming months? Well, you know the whole value and bumping the pro day up was so that he can go ahead and have surgery now, so e think it's and I'm not. This is not my world, but I think it's about a two month deal. Um it's a very standard procedure. I mean, the kind of deal with the surgeon who does it did three more this morning, right before you, you know. And, um So it's a very standard deal. It's got a great plan from physical therapy standpoint, we're so the guy named Drew Drew Marcos that motives who's probably the best physical therapist in the country will be doing all that and So it's really not a big deal. He just has to go through and follow the guidelines. We shall do and he'll be back back, throwing here in a couple months, and he'll be ready well before the season starts and have plenty of timeto. To get his body and everything under control and where he wants it to be for the start of the season. We're talking Jordan Palmer. Sure. What about Josh Allen? He had a breakout year this year as somebody who has worked with him in the past and on a personal level. What was it like to see him take such an enormous step forward this year. Well, I mean, I've got used to work with a lot of guys and you know you put yourself into him. You hope for the best and to be honest with you challenge me to watch him take that step this early. Um, I mean, I kind of every week continued to be blown away, even though I'm pulling for him, and I believe that it could happen, but still to see it on Big games, too. It's not like you beat up on the bad teams and struggled first, the good ones. You beat up on everybody and I just that you could kind of see all the pieces when if you're around him, he's funny. He's as funny of a quarterback as we have in this league and as much fun to hang out with as we have any quarterback in this league But also the greatness that he sees in himself the confidence It was just cool to see all those things come together on top of, you know, mechanically and accuracy and Just goes to show you if you go to an organization and what Brandon being the general manager's done there. On Brian Table on offense, and Ken Dorsey, his quarterback coach. It's the sum of all these parts and, yeah, we can talk about Stefan digs, but the reality is that they were really good last year, too, and they just continued to build around this young player. On support him in a way where I actually think you know, we look at Kansas City and we look at some of these. These teams that have laid out the blueprint for how toe You know, drafted, build around quarterback and Brandon Bean and Sean McDermott in the pool, a family. I think they've kind of reset the bar in terms of what is building around a young quarterback supposed to look like I think it's supposed to look like what? They just didn't Buffalo Joran Palmer joining me for a couple of more moments. I gotta ask you to order. What do you make of how Tom Brady played in the Super Bowl and over the course of the season? Well, there's something kind of cool, but I'm seeing with my eye on Tom Brady. Right now. That's not really talked about. So this class football season. I've got a guy I work with. You just focuses on the biomechanics and the movement side of things and My right hand man with coaching quarterbacks, and they gave him a study. I said, Find me the top couple movers in the league meeting the guys who moved the most efficiently. No wasted movement. When they lean or cut or plant they don't get outside of their hips. Stay within their hips and, ironically, that the guys that we identified as the two best movers in the league or Cuyler Murray and Tom Brady, and how ironic is that? That's wild 5 11 and arguably the best athlete in the league at the position outside of maybe Lamar. Then the other guys 43 years old, and I don't know you could make the argument body wise you in the least the bottom. Couple athletes in the league of the position, but his what he's done with his team and Alex Guerrero and all these guys is he's just become one of the most efficient movers. And that's before we start talking about throwing in the mental side of the game and clutching all that stuff, So I just think that he hasn't just relied on his strength he's turned are arguably his biggest weakness. Into a strength that is such that I've identified him as one of the top two movers in the league, whatever that means, so he's just gotten more efficient. He's got and it looks like he's got more athletic, but he's just gotten more efficient. And then you find out afterwards you need surgery after the game. You're like man that's on top of the knee injury, So I just think it's fascinating. We have the timers time conversation, all that, but the reality is that he has continued to move better. Grow better and no better and and he finally got toe parrot together in a new spot with him, you know, in all Star team around him, and it couldn't have been looked like someone your deal to me. It looked like something that happened at the end of season have to deal with for a few so fascinating conversation right there once again former NFL quarterback founder of QB Summit This year's class would include Trevor Laurence Brady, White and also shame. Bushell, Jordan. Great job. I really appreciate you making time for the show as always, great to run you down Jordan. Thanks so much. Next room was great, really good. Tom Brady is one of the top to quote movers in the league. Even at that age, and the other one is Cuyler Murray. That's amazing. All right. Hope you enjoyed that. I got a lot of that. That's a great conversation. Always always always. Jordan Palmer. Former NFL quarterback and a consultant. Breaking it down. When we come back, we go back to back. "Just made a bad, you know, Matt? Bad decisions bad. Read that throne third down. And once I got to have, uh, in order to help this team, move the chains on third down. You know what I'm gonna feel fulfilled. It'll get down there. It's only an interception question Field goal. That's that's not good enough to You're not going through anything champs that Wasps Buffalo bills quarterback Josh Alan after the loss to the Cannes City chiefs and shout out to our Colleague here at ESPN. Diane ever seen me for the question that Josh answered. She was in Kansas City today at Arrowhead Stadium, which was loud, all game long, limited capacity there an Arrowhead but still very loud for Josh out on the bills to deal with, but a great season. No doubt for Josh Allen on the Bills. I think something is very important. If you are a bills fan, Brian table is going to stay. As the offensive coordinator he was talked about during this coaching carousel, but it appears he's going to stay there. So a lot of continuity coming for Josh Allen is you kind of broke out into you know that upper echelon of quarterbacks this year, he won't have to learn a new offense or learn new language from another coordinator as day Bill will be back in Buffalo, so don't expect them to go anywhere. That should be a good team for quite some time. If I was gonna Keep playing like that Want to place a ESPN 1887293776. "They want to stretch four straight games where each one of their you know, there's two safeties of the two starting corners each had one interception in that four game stretch, so A lot of cool fun little matchups that I can't wait for it. Holmes take some chances. That is a correct assumption on my buddy Greg hotels part. Um, but so did Jack Helen and I get to feeling coming into this game to catch. Allen may be called upon to make a player too, with his legs. He certainly capable. We know that I doing it less this year than he had in previous years because he hasn't needed to, And he's been that good staying in the pocket and Getting the ball to Stefan Diggs and his other wide receivers s O give him credit for doing it less. But if he needs to do it more is he up to the task and it will that be a good sign or a bad sign. If he's gotta pull it down and take off a couple times in the first half. Yeah, That's a good observation and he hasn't had to. I mean, he's had a bunch of 400 yard games on and what he's been able to do. His arm is kind of changed his approach a little bit, and he's And that happens to when you're more confident in what you're able to do in the pocket, listening to Chris Jones this week entire on Matthew talk about you know what it was like to play Josh Allen last year two years ago. Toe what it's like now and you could see the differences. But what I what I've been really impressed with in the playoffs. While the stats aren't like super gaudy or unbelievable passing wise for Josh, he has started to implement the run a little bit more. Um consistently and balance which I kind of thought during the season. That couple of those big matchups. Um Where he still had some success of the passer. I thought that his running ability really could have been something that the bills offense could have used and Brian Table you know, in the playoffs when they needed it. He's really lean on that. Design quarterback run and when he gets out in space, and in turns in some defensive players go home like a full back out there. And so yes, your point. It's definitely something they'll utilize and especially in the red Zone, where the Chiefs are ranked 32nd in the league this year. Given up. I think it's like almost 70% of trips, their opponents making the Lorenzo the scoring touchdowns, and so if you could get Josh Allen on the run, get get going down Hill. That's where he becomes almost unstoppable. Now. Last thing for you again. I wasn't followed up. You want Andy Reid was there s I know the coach real well, and I know how he handles himself. Anything's the says leading up to a football game. Not surprisingly, this week. He had like a very good things to say about your McDermott, who, of course, was on Andy Reid stepped in Philadelphia before they both went their separate ways to get to success that they have meeting in tomorrow's championship game. Is sure McDermott like any reed, do you have to just when he goes into the opposition is the best and we're gonna have the toughest time and I don't know how we're going to be able to stop him. And he was always good at, uh, heaping praise and not giving any bulletin board material to the opposition. If McDermott plays it the same way. How do you do any reading between the lines as to what he thinks he has to do to be able to beat an Andy Reid team. That's a great point because he definitely learned from the best in that department. And he is Carried on that mentality in that way in the way that he is at coach, but No. If you want to know, Like what I think that we're the success comes from with what Sean McDermott been able to do here. I think a big part of it is I think you could look at Stefan digs and how he's Acclimated and become so comfortable and successful in this offense, like in the first season after, you know, kind of a broken marriage with the Vikings and all the drama that kind of happened there around His role and his unhappiness in his role. McDermott does a good job of you know, they say at him and Brandon being they don't go out there not trying to just bring in choir boys that will just, you know, eat up, eat and drink and sleep the process and show up to work and Bring their lunch pal. There's different varieties of personality on this team is to find digs is a guy that's very unique. And, um, you know, he wants the ball like he's a competitive guy, and that's that's kind of the key to it all, too. You want, guys that wanna wanna win that are very competitive that want to be the best, and they saw something like that. And Sean in Stefan digs. And Sean does a good job of, you know, letting everybody be themselves but also Have figured out a way to get, you know, use that competition piece and get the best out of the roster that he has. And you know, they're on the cusp of maybe a Super Bowl and this might be his best coaching job yet. All right. Last thing are you in Kansas City? Are you doing your work from upstate New York Tomorrow? I'm in Kansas City. We got some take out from Joe's barbecue. Got some curbside, eh? "Goodyear more driven. Okay, So this week we saw the Jets higher. Robert Sala. Their head coach, the former defensive coordinator for the 40 Niners, Urban Meyer's now the head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Falcons hired the Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. Rumors have been swirling that the Chargers are looking at Brian Table who's the offensive coordinator for the Bills, and the Eagles have requested to interview and talk to Josh McDaniels, who's the offensive coordinator of the Patriots, although we do know that Josh McDaniels story of him going Indianapolis and coming back to the Patriots, and yada, yada, yada And so here are the opening still left the Chargers, the Texans, the Detroit lines in the Philadelphia Eagles. Of those four hires Jordan. Which is the most attractive at this point. I don't say the Chargers. I would say that because Justin Herbert Joey Bosa. Keenan Allen, third one, James, That's a lot of talent and the most important piece is that quarterback position that you haven't Justin Herbert? S O. To me. That's that's the most desirable of one's open. Do you disagree? I mean, e Think Overwhelmingly. It's the Chargers opening. I have a hard time going The sifting through these last four jobs. First of all, are we really living in a world where Eric the enemy Might not get a head coaching job really doesn't feel like he's gonna get one of them. That's the case. I'm confused because you've got Brian table who's seems to be according to sources in the brain rumors, the front runner for the Chargers job He supposedly never interviewed in Houston, which is why the Shawn Watson is so upset in the first place. Philadelphia is pining for Josh McDaniels. And so I guess that leaves Detroit. And I don't know Eric. The enemy going to Detroit just doesn't seem like what I would have pegged to be The perfect fit and Matt Matt Stafford's a really good quarterback, but he's not that offense is nowhere near with. The Chiefs is now I guess that's why you bring in a guy like Eric the enemy. But if I'm narrowing it down in that kind of way It's just I'm I'm like, can't believe that it's unfortunate because if Detroit is the last one for the taking its as talented a guy for a head coaching gig. As there is out there and I remember us talking about this weeks ago on the show that Eric the enemy will have his pick of the litter with these jobs out there, and now you're looking at one in Detroit. If that's the last available if you're projecting and how you are say that it comes to that. You got a quarterback, and Matthew Stafford, who's a veteran. You don't know if he's even gonna be there. You've got a situation with a limited projected cap space to work with and a place that needs a complete overhaul. It's not a place you want to go necessarily. I'm saying, though, so so, yeah, I like to me. It points to right now. You know, I'm a gambling man. I would imagine that air P enemies back in Kansas. I'm inexplicably next year. I really do. As it's laid out in front of us, if what we believe to be true with these other voids and how they might get filled again. He can't be hired right now because he's coaching right now for Kansas City is they play Cleveland for a birth to the S E C championship game? But with what's in front of them and how these franchise organizations are moving. I don't see a check. Is what with the A Superball champion. Three time pro Boiler was on with Chin angle Junior earlier this week, and he's also shocked that the enemy doesn't have a job yet. I'm just surprised that coach being and still have the doctor recognition in the love that I think, and I think a lot of people crossed the NFL world thinks he deserves. So I'm obviously time's not up yet. You know, we still have the opportunity to get a head coaching job. But I'm surprised that he hasn't been hyo on these teams list. And I mean he very well could be high on some of these teams list. He's still coaching, so it's not like they can name him a head coach right now, while he's coaching in the NFL, um, but I just can't believe he's not at the top of everyone's. It's like this is insane to me that we are living in this world where it seems like who would be the top candidate. I was on these airwaves. Not too long ago. A few short weeks ago when we found out that Bill O'Brien was leaving the Texans, I'm like this is a sure fire home run, Eric, the enemy's going to the Texans is going to coach to Shawn Watson. They're gonna, you know, firm up that offensive line, maybe get him another weapon in the run game, help out the defense just a little bit because he already got JJ Watt over there. Who's a leader? That defense and you know what the Texans are going to be right back in this thing in here and now. Shifters reporting that to Sean Watson's not going to play another snap in Houston. It's the most undesirable coaching job and they haven't even interviewed. Eric the enemy and they didn't even look to Robert Sala. Well, it speaks to me. And kudos to a guy like to Shawn Watson, understanding his value and worth and what his voice How resonates in this league for him to say. I know that I am this organization. I know that this thing falters without me, And if you're going to disrespect the process and not give a look to a guy who's clearly deserving of it, and it's funny to me because I think about to Shawn Watson. How Chicago don't even look at him and even interviewing said now I mentioned to Miss Keyes. The guy for this job to some. Watson can't lead our team and so he knows firsthand what it's like to be overlooked. It's something that you feel like It is simply because of appearance that didn't sit right with Shawn Watson. And he wasn't afraid to say this is not the place for me my anger levels from a two to attend and how this has been handled and I could control that..

"Came into Saturday for all time in home, divisional round playoff games for Smith and the Bills up 10 to 3 on the Ravens. Buffalo got defensive snap of our Jackson back to throw guns it into the end zone, intercepting too deep in the end zone intercepted by Terrence Johnson, and he brings it out. He's still on the run. He may go all the way he's in the Baltimore 40 30 gets a block at the 2010 5 touchdown. The call on the Buffalo Bills radio network. Lamar Jackson suffered a concussion suit after Bills hang on 17 3 and head to their first conference championship in 27 years, And for all that Aaron Rodgers has accomplished in his whole fame career. There's one thing he's never done. Play in an NFC championship game at Lambeau Field. Well, check that one off the list as the Packers rolled up 484 yards of offense on their way to a 32 18 something of the rand. Around the coaching carousel. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Eagles have requested interviews with a pair of offensive coordinators, the Patriots Josh Daniels and the Chiefs of Erik the enemy. Their head coaching vacancy. Also, the Bills offensive coordinator, Brian Table has emerged as the favorite to land the head coaching job with the charges, but they must wait for the barrels to be finished with the postseason before they could negotiate. No. On the hardwood. "And the Ravens is going it is 10 minutes. Left in the first quarter. Baltimore is putting together one of those Baltimore drives. If you watch the Ravens, you know exactly what I'm talking about Their running the zone read. They're running the ball very effectively moving down the field against Buffalo. It's 00. It's still super early in the game. Baltimore does have that does have a decision to make. North and one on the Buffalo 31. I'll keep you up today. On that game. If you missed it, Green Bay advanced in the postseason. They won 32 to 18 over the Los Angeles Rams will go to the phone lines here in a little bit 855 to 124227. Think Urban Meyer is a great coach. I don't want anyone to hear my criticism of urban Meyer taking the Jacksonville job as one that I don't think urban can coach Urban can obviously coach And that's not just the old Well, you wanted Ohio State and you want it. Florida He wanted bowling green he won at Utah, like Urban Meyer is one of the greatest college coaches in the history of the sport. He coached at bowling Green for two years. They went 17 and six He coached it Utah for two years. They lost two games and one in the Fiesta Bowl. He even went to Florida and put together one of the best dynasties and the last 30 years of the sport. And then went to Ohio State and the Big 10. It had 1.5 national champion since 1969. And added another one. So the big tent So No question or American coach. My complaints for urban Would be this. There's a learning curve. I'm sorry. If you're going to be in college as long as he was and then make the jump to the NFL. There's going to be some things that you don't know in the first year. You're gonna have to catch up to where everybody else is. Also due to his health. History. Is he a guy that you can guarantee is going to be here for the second contract. Trevor Lorne's Because of Lawrence's what the pundits and the experts and the scouts tell me he's going to be. That's a quarterback that you think you're gonna have a chance to win Super Bowls with and I say Super bowls as in plural. Do you want a coaching change? Just when you think he started ahead, his groove and really starting to hit his stride at age 24 25 years old, I wouldn't hire Urban Meyer. I think this was the owner. Wanting to go out and make a statement. Hey, this is a new day for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Look, we got urban Meyer. Become coach. We got Trevor Laurence. This felt like a moved to me. That is a little bit more sizzle than substance. At the NFL level. I wouldn't want a different direction. I would have hired one of the offensive minded coaches and I would have really looked between Arthur Smith. Who got the Falcons job. Brian Table Who's the offensive coordinator for Buffalo? Who I think's going to get the Jack. I think I think Brian Table is going to get the Chargers job. Once Buffalo season's over. I think they're going to hire Brian Table. Would have hired a guy who I think Can be Andy Reid. To Trevor Lawrence's Patrick Mahomes be the Sean Payton to Trevor Lawrence's Drew Brees. And I'm thinking of the next 10 to 12 years. And swinging absolutely big for a guy I know can get the most out of this player. That's what I would have done. I'm also not the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars. She's not the move I would have made. We'll see how the urban Meyer experience works. They're getting a quarterback next year, and they have $70 million in cap space. So Jacksonville can get really good, really fast in a hurry. It's gonna be interesting. Jacksonville's going to be on Sunday night football on Monday night football and they're going to be a team that we're gonna have our island because they're gonna have a lot of story lines this year. It's going pharmacy up, plays out. Let's go to the phone lines 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. Adam is in Jacksonville going, Adam. Hey, I just want to call and I know you were saying about urban. Um, I know you have your apprehension about this guy, but In my mind. I think this is a great higher for our team. Our franchise, our city. And to make it a simplistic It's possible that we've been hearing this here locally is Some people, you know, kind of said Well, how are you gonna do transition to the NFL? You said it yourself. And Covered players say this goes there is football at the end of the day, bro. It's football, his adjustments from college to NFL and what are you talking about? Hash line or overtime versus college. I think that he is a visionary when it comes to offense of schemes and what will be able to Internet I think he is a leader of men. We have one of the youngest rosters. In the NFL, and I'm just looking forward it for him to come in there and make his imprint on it. I'm not so much concerned about his health. I'm not so much concerned about what his contract situation is. Just one of the big move for us, and I honestly think that this is just gonna do nothing but increase is like our our our chances of winning coming in the next few seasons. I appreciate the phone call Adam, I I certainly understand the optimism like.

Bill O'Brien, former head coach, the Houston Texans. After and I'm going back now, two weeks. It was a Saturday and it was before the Rose Bowl. So you're going back to the Saturday before the rose. Give me the Yeah, yeah. Against Notre Dame. Um, the Rose Bowl's in Texas. But he shows up fusion. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it was like, Wait, What? I was there. I was part of the broadcast. That's the worst part man. I got a boost have the Cotton Bowl in New York City, Bill O'Brien came to campus the day after the rose and stayed in Tuscaloosa. From that we can all the way until Thursday. That's a long time man. It was just to be checking out some dreamland in Archibald's barbecue or hitting up Chuck for some sushi, right, so he wasn't there for the food, right? So He was there just in beyond intrigue, talking to two different people inside that Alabama program. It was he was immense, just completely dove into the deep end of the pool to see what exactly Makes this place so unique under Nick Saving And right now, our man Chris Lowe is reporting that Bill O'Brien, former head coach of the Texans, will be the new offensive coordinator, replacing Steve Sarkeesian. You left to go to Texas. At Alabama. And a hair care we go again. Ready yet? Lane Kiffin? Yes, Steve Sarkeesian? Yeah. I mean, Mike Stoops is there right now, But Jones has got a new guy got coaching job again. You know Major Applewhite and offensive coordinator back in college football. It is the healing hands. Of saving when he lays them upon the on you spend time at the capstone. You leave a transformed angel Kelowna and you go back into the world and you have immense success. Even though I don't need the healing hands of saving laid upon the back show up like Brian Table. Outstanding offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills went to Tuscaloosa to have those hands laid upon him. And now he is a head coaching candidate when the hottest names In the National Football League. That is what Saint Nick does. So here comes Bill O'Brien, the latest one Have those healing hands laid upon his forehead. If you spend one year with that guy, you will be a head coach again. At least a coordinator somewhere with your reputation wiped clean and you have a fresh start. That's for those healing hands. Could do. Mr. Coleman will this girl okay?.

What the Patriots can learn from the BIlls' QB strategy

"Talk About That quarterback position because I think you know alot of patriot sales again, and I keep saying this but they don't like it when we point out at the bills rebuilding strategy is working in that the Patriots could learn something from Buffalo. So what are we going to learn from Buffalo? You know, they haven't won anything in twenty years, right? It's like no no, no. No, this is a great case study by Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott M how to put a Young quarterback in the perfect situation to succeed. Especially Young quarterback and Josh Allen who let's face. It was a high ceiling, you know, low floor type of prospect at very high bus potential if it didn't go to the right direction in Buffalo. So I looked at back at that 2018 draft. They actually traded up twice for Josh Allen's pick at seventh overall from Twenty-One wage. Because they made that playoffs or Tyrod Taylor, right? Was that the year? Yeah, so they made the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor Sweet in as a wild-card team. Then they were picking 21st. They traded up from 21 to 12 and then 12 to sneak in to get their guide Josh Allen, but I actually think more so and we can talk a little bit about Allen's development to more so than Allen's individual development. Would McDermott and being did to you know, make sure the offensive line to add Cole Beasley and Stephon Diggs and put Josh Allen in this perfect kind of offense for his skill-set with Brian table. That's really I think as much about what we've seen from Josh Allen's growth is anything in that sort of speaks to the team building process of the whole thing.
