Trump campaign goes on offensive with barrage of lawsuits

"Has filed lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Nevada. They've demanded vote counting stop so they can obtain access to watch the vote processing process or they've demanded the ballots received in the mail after Election day be separated out pending decisions on whether they should count it all. That was especially the concern in Pennsylvania before the election started. I said that I was going to be looking at three particular states through the election, and that was Nevada, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Jonathan Turley is a constitutional scholar and law professor at Georgetown. The reason I isolated those states was that their states where the vote was expected to be close. They're states where changes have been made relatively close to the election in either their laws, their practices and finally their states that they're dealing with either new systems or unprecedented numbers of ballots coming in from various sources, it turns out, those three states will likely Determine the outcome of this election. You know, we also keep in mind that things like recounts are good toe identify. Regularities. They're not is great in terms of changing the load count. It's very common in recounts to have just a few 100 votes nullified or changed. The exception to that was 2000 and I was doing that coverage for CBS, and we saw a great deal of Ah nullification because of badly designed ballots and also the infamous hanging, Chad. Determinations. We don't have anything like that in 2020.

"This morning. It's not my place or Donald Trump's place to declare who's won this election. That's the decision of the American people. But I'm optimistic about this outcome, but it was just after midnight Now. A short time ago, a Biden campaign official told Fox News. They believe Wisconsin and Michigan will go their way today. Democratic nominee now has a slight lead in both those states and in Nevada. And if all three end up buying blue, he would have the 270 electoral votes he needs. This is a fraud.

Millions of Americans genuinely love Donald Trump

"Millions of Americans sincerely love Donald Trump. They love him. In spite of everything they've heard, they love him, often in spite of himself. They're not deluded. They know exactly who Trump is. They love him anyway. They love Donald Trump, because no one else loves them. The country they built the country their ancestors fought for over hundreds of years has left them to die in their unfashionable little towns, mocked and despised by the sneering half wits with finance degrees, but no actual skills who seem to run everything all of a sudden. Whatever Donald Trump's fault he is better than the rest of the people in charge. At least he doesn't hate them for their weakness. That's Tucker Carlson, trying to explain the trump phenomenon. I don't know if he saw the 95 Mile Long Trump parade in Arizona over the weekend, and then that crowd that looked like Pope John Paul. The second had landed in Buenos Aires. It was absolutely incredible. There's never been a politician that has this sort of Ah Base backing similar examples all over America, too. I mean, just astounding. I personally will never love a politician just not in my nature, but that whole You know towns across America that air despised by all the elite. I know I'm from those towns. He just can't be that whole crowd out there. That has talked to that way all the time off. They couldn't be more enthusiastic about voting for Trump. Whether that's enough people to show up today and get him over the top. I have no idea. And if he didn't have the personality he had he would win. Oh, yeah, he would win in a landslide. Is the entire media against him? Yes. Was the Russian collusion hoax? Something close to an attempted coup? Yeah. MIA when you consider that Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer knew all along that what they were saying was untrue. All those things are true. But Trump could have won in a walk if he wasn't so, Trumpy, But you know, life is like that being Trumpy is what got him. Worry. Worry is Yeah, it's often difficult to tease out those variables. Breonna Taylor’s Case and Protests

"To ah handful of cops about the raid in Louisville in which Briana Taylor was shot and killed. A story that was brutally miss reported by the media for a very long time, a lot of just utterly untrue narratives repeated over and over again and still going on today. By the way, there's a Yahoo news, which is unforgivably biased in an accurate is out with a story that is just It is the half truth. That is a lie, but a couple of things complicating the situation. The Briana Taylor thing was that there are multiple warrants being served simultaneously. Because it had to do with a drug gang selling all sorts of narcotics narcotics, including fentanyl, and there have been hundreds of overdoses and and it was seen as a very urgent thing in Louisville. And the situation Wass. They did not want to do the slower kind of search warrant you, Khun do if and this is the way the law enforcement officer put it to me if the evidence is too big to flush You do what's called a surround and call out. You can't flush a gun. You can't flush is safe, full of something or other or a person, right? You surround the house. You call him out. You say Listen, we're coming in. But why don't you come out and talk to us? We have a warrant. That sort of thing. There are dynamic search warrants where you have to go and quickly because evidence could be destroyed and this appears to be the sort that they were serving there. Because it was all about money and records and that sort of thing. Um It's incredibly unfortunate that that boyfriend the new boyfriend was there and he was armed and didn't know it was the cops, he says. A couple of criticisms. With all due respect from this law enforcement officer number one were they in plain clothes? That's not good. Now there is certainly a role for plainclothes officers, and you might have plainclothes lookouts toe have your back. Is your going in to do your stuff, But he said his agency, which is a large one, it is flaming Lee obvious. Who's a cop? So I looked out the window and I see somebody in Khakis and a shirt. With a gun yelling open the door, I guess is the police. Yes, I'll just hope it's the police. Yeah, he said. Now He's got to believe they're wearing bulletproof vests and whatever in something that identified them is police. But that's not been clear from the coverage. So he said That is something his agency would never do. And I brought him. I said, You know, we've been in the Housing developments, their apartment complexes or whatever the minute a cop is within a quarter mile year. Well, everybody, let's everybody else know that the cops were coming, he said. Yeah, that's just part of it, he said, but we always clearly identified himself. Ourselves. The other thing, he said, is that the one really out of bounds thing, and it violates every law of firearm safety. Whether you're kompromat is firing blindly through walls and or doors. You just You don't do that, particularly in an apartment complex. That's just an egregious violation of training and protocol. So that's why the one guy's getting Prosecutors on the one guy that did get charged. Got charged with that. Yeah, Yeah. Um, let's see him trying to, you know, the only Other thing I would throw in and it's funny. This is the third Ah! Large police department. I've heard this from directly in the last month or so. Morale is terrible, terrible, and they are losing officers by the dozens. Some big city police departments are down 101 150 officers. And there's a our particular equipment place that you go to get equipment or turn in equipment when you are resigning. And the officer. Anthony behind the glass filling in for sure you doing a fantastic job right now I am going to sweep impeachment the hell out of the way join me here we go let's start okay let's go ahead and start from the top first of all we all know this is a big nothing burger if you're a frequent listener of this audience you know that everybody on the program no this is a big nothing burger and you know that it's it's looking bad for the Democrats when they're starting to turn on their own what do you mean Kerry well what I mean here is we have Michigan democratic representative Brenda Lawrence she's coming out saying she doesn't see any value in impeachment as the polls are showing falling support among independents you know they're the left they know their base stress if anybody knows their base it's the left but the independents are kind of the ones that are up for grabs that you want to swayed over to your side of the aisle the independents are having this so we have a house Democrat now saying she sees no value then we have a top democratic campaign consultant and former pollster for president Bill Clinton leading with the Democrats to abandon this impeachment thing is name is Doug Schoen and he was actually talking with fox news legal analyst Greg Jarrett and Gregg Jarrett made a great point he's actually hoping that this impeachment thing continues because what's going to happen is this thing's got up in his words boomerang around back and this is going to be the witch hunt the sequel however it's going to turn on the bidens what I mean is let's say we keep this impeachment inquiry going well that all of a sudden all those shifty little shifty say person Adam Schiff in there too by the way go to KSFO dot com in about five minutes I'm gonna link up the bowl dash photo of Adam Schiff shirt but I just purchased stuff you can go ahead and get yours at KSFO dot com shortly but Bridger it was basically making the point that if the Senate were to take up the trial of the president Republicans would be in a position to raise questions over vice president Joe Biden's involvement with Ukraine policy as well as his Hon center is his son and his fun center hello I carry his son hunters work with the Ukrainian corrupt Ukrainian company so they're basically saying if this investigation continues the spotlight is gonna go from trump to the bidens which is not what the left wants however I'm seeing that Biden's just tanking in the polls after that performance we saw during the last democratic debate so I'm not too sure how well Biden's doing right about now but we'll we'll keep an eye on on where he goes in the polls I'll check and I checked in this morning he he was down he was down about at like six fifteen soul trekker here again see if he's made any improvements in the last couple hours now this is another story that I saw that I just don't I don't understand where they find these people this is from CNN reliable sources which that's a joke in itself but will set that aside this is the host Brian Stelter he was on Sunday he provided a platform to this guy name Steven Hassan he is an author and self proclaimed expert on cults I he is basically talking about how the leader of our country Donald Trump is simply the leader of a destructive cult and I don't know when we have guests on the show we want to make sure that that they're good if you want to have somebody on that's going to be informative that you know could be funny but it's going to be something that our listeners are going to enjoy at and get something out of why Brian Stelter had this guy on and allowed him to go completely on shot on challenging claiming that the president is a cult leader is beyond me he basically came on and promoted his book which I'm not going to say the title of because I'm not gonna give this guy the publicity but they have this conversation and I would like to read to you some blurbs this is not the full transcript these are notes all of you really worried about collusion I am giving you the partial transcript as follows so this is Brian Stelter opening up the program the word called his been popping up more and more Anthony Scaramucci talked about his claim that trump supporters are in a cult Dan rather said he thinks for trump he he said he thinks trump seems increasingly cultish and trump critic John weaver said the GOP is not a party anymore in the traditional sense it's a cult so now Steve Hassan response basically saying that he'd this defines a destructive cult as an authoritarian pyramid structure group with someone at the top who claims to have total power and wisdom and he uses the deception and control of behavior information fox and emotions to make people loyal and dependent and make them act as obedient followers that's right we're a bunch of sheep folks we have no thought of our own we have no emotions of our own we can't get our own information and we're obedient followers of president trump I just love the he's a self proclaimed expert right you know like you didn't did you go to college for any of that do the job yeah right did you go to self self proclaimed college yeah self proclaimed college where he got his self proclaimed degree and self proclaimed being a cult expert it's just where they find these people and then but to think about the mainstream media this I mean not to quote one of our drops that we use but this is CNN major news network this is the mainstream media a self proclaimed cult expert on to talk about how the followers of the president of the United States are merely obedient followers of him.

We'll talk about those stories and more straight ahead though right now. It's time to check the news with Katie green. You know, the media does not stand a chance with this guy. He's just not taking their crap and they, they can't they can't admit it either. They, they can't accept defeat here. Now they just can't compete against this guy. He's so good. He's, he's so good. He's so quick. And he's so aware of what he you know, as he calls it fake news, that he's just, he's, he's just not taken it. So we have a couple of clips from our great president, that we'll be playing and we'll be talking also a little bit about this. Bart fed grant. "Brian Sussman. Let's get to the callers here on KFI. Here's joining us will back up and start over with this one, because I know a lot of people tune in throughout the course of the program. So I don't ever want assume that, you know exactly what we're talking about. Because you were here twenty minutes ago. So Cal trans plans to rebuild portions of the MacArthur maze. This eighty five eighty eighty that big, but would you view this look at aerial shot right now? It's actually pretty amazing. They want to redo it. Okay. How much is that gonna cost? Well, they say a hundred ninety one million. I love it. They've they've got it right. Down to the million hundred ninety one million not ninety two. No, no, no, no not eighty nine nine hundred ninety one million, which means Hello. You know how it works around here at seconds. Gotta costs four hundred million. Oh, we could do it three years yet. That'll be six years. What's interesting is then they wanna take two hundred fifty thousand vehicles go through this maze every day. They want to while they're building while they're rebuilding the maze. They would've put all those vehicles on surface streets. You would think just in the name of quote unquote global warming. They wouldn't want to do that. Now, why are they doing this to begin with? They bigger trucks, taller, trucks, we gotta make room for the taller trucks. What's amazing is you've got people who are on the Alameda, County, transportation commission and people were on the metropolitan transportation commission. Who knew nothing about this. In other words, they didn't even learn about this til mailers were sent out to residents. And maybe they heard people like us talking about this case, although tell you no one talks about this stuff on other than K F, oh, you think the news stations are gonna come out the way we do. Now, they're all reading scripts and press releases and where the where the only we're the only show. Heavy local shows are like ours in this market one. So we're very critical. We talk about this stuff. And now you wanna talk about it as well. So I want to go to let's go to fill it Fairfield, Phil, thanks for joining us on ks Afo. So what are your thoughts about this? I work in fish since I was very young. I work over in the port of Oakland. Now, what I don't understand about this is we have to size of containers. We have what they call a standard was wish the containers, eight point six inches tall. And we have a haiku container called nine point six excuse me tall. Eight six is the tall nine six one. Okay. The trucks even was Splendors on the over the road. Guys, come in from all over the United States bring product to right there spoilers, or maybe one or two inches over ninety six container. So AMIS are brand new trucks by these big over the road tweets. Right. I don't understand where they get high trucks. Yeah. Where are they going with this, high truck thing that's that is? I'm glad you're bringing this up because I that's that's above my pay grade. I just don't know. You know, in the thing is, is, is only like one part of the trucking industry, they have things called over heights, and stuff like that. But some of them they still get under the bridges and under all the marks without troubling the ones that don't have get special moving permits. But unsure we got some diesel truck mechanics out there, listening to you and stuff like that, but yeah, just don't understand it. I think they're smoking crack or something. I think you're right. I think it may be both smoking crack and trying to spend money. Go ahead. Don't want to get in the way of that. Let's go to Georgia's in Emoryville, Georgia, I understand, you went to the couch rans meeting and talk to us about this tall truck issue because apparently came up in the meeting. Thanks for being with us, George Brian, I was up the Emoryville meeting. What does he have to say about the spying that was going on it was behind the spying and the Trump campaign? I mean who started that why wasn't that made known to congress? "With Brian Sussman. All righty is. He ready is he with us. Nice. Nice. Nice. Bob Tanum in the garden, the longest running show and the case of whole lineup every weekend Sunday eight to ten AM. How you doing Bob? I'm doing well. How are you? I'm doing great. It's it's April. First, April Fools joke. Is this is when people really get serious about the gardening, Bob. Well, they should accept those put the damn tomato in the ground yet. Thank you very much. And I can I tell you something. You already did. I this is what I love about you. I did everything. Everything I've learned about gardening. I've learned from you. And so my tomatoes are still out. Tell me if I'm doing this, right or wrong based on all my listening tomatoes. I raise everything from seed. Okay. There's still in the little the little seedling pots. That's good. I've moved them from the greenhouse there now sitting outside. I'm I'm I'm awaiting putting them in the ground. But when should I actually do that? Well, you know when you see the temperature. A thing on the radio where television or whatever it is called you you put it on. And when the temperature night temperature is over forty degrees. Soil will probably in the during the day. We'll wind up being around in the fifty to sixty. And that's when you put your tomatoes in the ground. Yeah. Okay. That's perfect. You need to do this carefully with the tomatoes. Everybody loves raising the tomatoes. We were just talking you could have people, and, you know, high rises in the city if they have tiny little balcony, so often you see them with the tomatoes. Right, right. What is the major mistake people do with tomatoes once once they're in once once the season gets going? What is the biggest problem that people have with their tomatoes? They don't pollinate. They don't get. They don't make the plant pollinate. Okay. Each tomato blossom has its male and female parts. And if you're on a balcony that never gets any wind, you're not gonna get any tomatoes because as the thing that makes, you know, you know, birds bees and all that kind of straight. And if that doesn't happen you're going to have any tomatoes the blossom fall off adult say, oh, I'll get to call. You know, all of my tomatoes blossoms are falling off. What can I do? When I go out with toothbrush and shake the planet. I was just gonna ask you could physically. Do this yourself. Correct. That is correct. Yeah. Sort of funny. I said well at lunchtime go out and shake tomato plant, and then you'll have so many. It's that easy that easy. Now, what about sometimes people get various diseases, and that kind of thing with the tomatoes talk to us about that. And how to prevent it. Well, first of all you start off with tomatoes with that that funny little lettering on the tomato plant TNT. Those are the viruses that actually affect tomatoes and a lot of people put tomatoes in the same soil year after year. And the first year is great the second year old then I'll get the call. What's wrong? I remember many years ago. I thought well, I'm just going to amend the soy it'll be fine. And that didn't do the trick. And it was shortly thereafter that I learned from listening to your program. There is my problem. You know, what I do with mine? I I have limited space. So I grow tomatoes and fifteen gallon containers step number one. If you really wanted to do it, of course, they're black and they're in the sun. So that they actually absorb a lot of heat. But I'm still gonna put my tomatoes in there until night. Temperature is above forty five degrees, very important because as you've told me before and those who listened to Bob's radio show on case Sundays eight to ten I think the way you say it is tomatoes like to do it at night. That's correct. At night. Isn't that a surprise for a lot of people? Yeah. You're thinking. No. It's got to be the warm sun today. That's when the tomatoes comes alive at night, they're doing their thing. Okay. So they do it at night, and you have to shake in order to get them to grow. Shake it baby at lunchtime. And then go out at never case careful, Bob. It's the best gardening show in the world. Okay. We just say it right now. Okay. The other thing I'm not one. I'm not a big by my wife is always the one who raises the salon tro and the basil that kind of stuff and the kids. And the dog and everything else. I just there's not much of a trick to those things. I mean, they grow it. It's like, okay, we can't use all this basal. Your thoughts on on those types of Gardner, wbz. You know, what I learned this myself, a long long time ago is, you know, people will put them in the freezer when you do that fill that little sack with water. Then make your clippings of you know, that you want to say, okay. And you put them in water in those sandwich bags put them in the refer enough reader. And that's the way you do it. It's sorta like, you know, like putting salmon steaks in the freezer. You don't do it with aluminum foil and no water? You put them in the water and stuff like that was that when you defrosting them out really fresh. I've seen people do that with ice cube trays almost like single use for cooking. You just pop one of those things out and throw it in. There you go good good idea. Okay. So Bob, then a couple of the other questions I have well what I've learned from you is I'm able to maintain my garden year round. Now, I'm growing stuff all year round, a lot of people you get into the fall months, and they say, okay, that's it. But you you see we live in a place where you can actually keep things going all year round. Correct. Correct. Your sure what do you recommend? So from your garden twelve months out of the year. Yes. But I do things in stages now. And I want a highly encourage people to think about that. So let's let's just say you have a limited amount of space, and you want to be that year, round gardener. What would you recommend here? We are. We're hitting springtime what really flourishes right now. Well, gee, that's a hard question to answer asking you because you're the guy. Well, okay. You can put in just about anything. Of course. This is the months to put your potatoes in the ground is that's what you wanna do. Okay. Potatoes potatoes, you can plant doubt for tomatoes potatoes. Even though they're related, they're both Nightshade families. And so that's one of the things. Can you believe I'm getting allergic to eggplant and things like that? They're inflammatory. Oh, it inflammation thing. Or what kind of allergy? It sorta wakes me up at night. If I have the wrong kind really never mind. I don't wanna go there. Peppers to that. That's going to be next. You never mind never mind now. Okay. So. It's four o'clock in the morning. When your hip says hi there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right now, laughing then. Okay. So you mentioned potatoes listeners the proper way to do potatoes. Puskas. They're super easy. You can do a Ruge year around. You can do let us here around. There's all sorts of vegetables of that nature. Of course, right now, you can put that let's see you can well all of the root crops grow as carrots. The the beats that type of thing that would be something new plant hold off on your corner. Here the hot water thing. Don't put your zucchini and the ground 'til next week. Okay. And that's pretty much it. Okay. With with the potatoes talk to us. There's a there's a trick to know when the potatoes are ready to pull out of the ground. Could you share that with our listeners here when they blossom start to fall off? Okay. I have a real different way of growing potatoes from all of the books and stuff like that. Okay. What I usually do is put the potato island top of the ground. And then as it sprouts, I start funding straw or hay. Or whatever you have around that thing until they come up, maybe even about eighteen to twenty inches. And that way all the potatoes are on top of the ground. You don't have to dig him. Okay. For some reason. I haven't heard this on your program before I had learned that when the win the potatoes actually, look like they're beginning to fade to die. That's probably about the time to pull them out of the blossoms drought. Yeah. Okay. That's really interesting. You mentioned corn. People corn is fun to grow because it gets big. And then we we love those stocks of corn. There are some there are some tricks to that one of them is waiting until the soils very warm. Correct. That is correct. It's a hot weather plan and see you can listen. Well, let's go back to Keeney zucchini can be pretty much tolerant of drops in the temperature and stuff like that. And that won't affect the thing was Akini you get shriveled up. And that's because you'll be didn't come out and follow me. So you're going to have to get your toothbrush out there and start calling me amazing. Do this yourself. How do it yourself kind of be? You gotta wonder who is the first person to discover all this at a toothbrush. Maybe this is why you know, sex second the gardens nothing new. We're learning that this morning. Okay. So there's that. And then the other question, I have who was the first person that decided, hey, this artichoke, I think I can eat it. That goes back to Roman empire emperor. I know, you know, the story. Go ahead. Well, he was sitting around one day, and all of these wonderful things were going on in these we'd came up, and they would bloom beautiful thing. And then he picked what actually picked one off too soon. And it wasn't in bloom yet. And he put it that selling new apart or something like that. And it started to boil pedal that looks pretty nice. So he started. Well, he didn't have mayonnaise unfortunate of time. So he had to eat it with just salt. But you know, and they said that's pretty good. I think I wanna grow those, Dan. Thanks. I mean, that's how all this began. Right. Oh on and on it. The stories are never ending. And, you know, Rome, sell, of course, unfortunately, because of all of the foreigners that came into the place. Guess what that story is repeating never mind. Bob K SFO every Sunday morning. Eight to ten you can go ahead and Email him. What about the program, you just a real guy? Who knows everything about gardening? What we try? Yes. You do you try, and you do very well, you boy, you do more than try you succeed. Well, we try. I'm glad well. Thank you for that. They were there. We had Facebook representatives were there. Amazon representatives were there. Microsoft horizon unions like the national Education Association. My goodness. So bold pack the political arm of the congressional Hispanic caucus chartered a seven thirty seven for members of congress their families and chiefs of staff to attend the weekend. The dress code was resort casual. Resort. Casual what does that clothes? Optional. I'm looking at this picture of Bob Menendez. The Senator from New Jersey maybe so anyway. They saw Hamilton last night. And they will return home today at four forty five. So they get an extra day to sober up and clean up and then fly home and stuff like that. See people don't realize. When generally speaking. Especially now that the Democrats have control of the house. They basically work three three day weeks. They don't. You know weekends. Well, what happens is you go. You're allowed to go home on Friday. So if they have any meetings on Friday it's Friday morning, then they have all Friday afternoon off their off Saturday. They're off Sunday. Then Mondays there fly back day. And they usually don't do anything Mondays. So these are people basically working Tuesday Wednesday Thursday part of the day on Friday. All that for one hundred seventy four thousand a year and the best benefits on the planet. Okay. Just the absolute best. Do you realize it as a member of congress? All you have to do is one term in. Hey, you get a pension for life. Two years. That's all your two years. You get a pension for life. Great gig. If you can get okay. So let's get these other stories that IT's we have the MS thirteen loophole. This is gonna this is gonna blow your mind, I'm not gonna give you all of it now because I don't want to ruin your entire day. Just yet. I'll I'll save their would Asian for later. "With Brian Sussman and Katie green on talk radio five, sixty ks. I'm sure a lot of people gonna be watching the game national football championship for the college ranks Levi stadium this evening. Maybe some lingering showers as you heard. But for the most part, you got people Clemson Alabama come a long way for this game. Tickets sales have been a real bust. I mean. It's it has these were very expensive tickets, and they just weren't selling like hotcakes they were anticipating, and I'm guessing maybe the halftime show has something to do with it as well, baby. I don't know. Maybe I mean, I thinking Clemson. I'm thinking ala Bama, I'm thinking for the halftime show, you what a really great country act. Yeah. As opposed to imagine dragons. Yeah. Who was it was a one Republic that was supposed to play yesterday. Good night, Republican Ellie Goulding. Yeah. That's screams football. That's what I'm thinking. That's the deal four one five eight zero eight fifty six hundred now that they've stock markets open. We'll open up the lines looks like the markets up slightly on this Monday. All talk in Washington DC is about the shutdown enters week number three at this point in time. So we'll keep you posted on that. In the meantime, let's go to Florida showy, Florida. It's the state that actually has its own theme song. We give you. These Florida's stories we go to a band called the squirrel that zippo zippers. They were very popular in the ninety s at.

"Continues now with Brian Sussman. It's a political grudge match. This is what we're seeing right now. Eight thirty is the time at which. Pelosi gonna return she's going to be come back the White House. She's calling for openness and transparency and an opportunity to really work things out in a bipartisan fashion. So what I'm saying is if what what Donald Trump should do Nancy you want openness and transparency. Okay. Sit down right here. All the cameras in. There. We go. This like he did last time. So this is this. This is not really about the dollars involved. In which neither side is ready to give an inch. I mean for five billion. What can you really do? You can do you can do something. But you can't seal the border the border needs to be sealed. It's it's sad. But it needs to be sealed because there are so many bad people in this world and many of them want to come into the United States illegally and do great harm. It's business for these people. If you're a bad guy, there's business to be to be done in the United States of America selling drugs selling people. Yup. Trafficking people in various ways shapes and forms opportunities for crime theft graft corruption misdeeds, it's all it's all right here is the play. If you're if you're a criminal case, you're a criminal would where would you what country? Would you want to go to? This one if you're a criminal if you're a foreign criminal where would you like to do business? Well, let's go to Saudi Arabia. They're nice to him there. You could make the most money here and the consequences here getting caught three square meals and a bed and a free gym membership. And then we let you lose your free to roam about the country. Even though you're supposed to be deported yesterday. We gave you a statistic there are countries. More countries are taking back those that we wanted to ports than we've seen it a long time because Trump's the put the clamps down a lot of these countries say, listen, you don't take your people who are in this country illegally and have been prosecuted and now, but we didn't want to deport them. Tell you what we're going to cut off aid. The biggest defender do you realize in this country? There are forty thousand Chinese people who we want to deport but China won't take them. And then there are thousands of yet AMIS thousands of. Of people from Laos houses, the people from Cambodia that's just in in Asia. But they are the biggest offender China at forty thousand. And then Cuba has like thirty five thousand that we went we went out of here that Cuba has I take him. So here we are Trump was more than five billion for the wall. Democrats did offer at one point one point three billion. Then Republicans in congress countered with two point five billion, even the Trump hasn't embraced that number. So okay. Think about this. We started with five Democrats said we'll give you one point three. Now Nancy Pelosi yesterday said the walls immoral. So she wants to give one point three billion isn't that immoral more on her part? Yeah. That's that's that's a moral one dollars should be immoral which is the other offer. She made as joke. Apparently. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So stuff a buck one point three billion bucks. It sounds like it's here's Pelosi talking yesterday about the immorality the whole thing. Go ahead. Politics. It has to do with the wall is an immorality between countries. It's an old way of thinking isn't cost effective. Yeah. So, but she's willing to give one point three billion to this immoral wall. So Trump water five dams counter with Len point three Republicans caved and said, okay, how about two point five billion? So this is an impasse. Now. Given that the national parks and museums have shut down given that eight hundred thousand federal workers. To some measure living paycheck to paycheck, perhaps and not being paid. And now you're going to start hearing about these people saying, listen, I got rent I got I got a mortgage. I got living expenses. What are you doing to me? I have a feeling that what's going to end up happening is they're going to figure out how to patch. This over at both sides are going to declare victory. That's the way it works in Washington. Patch it over Democrats will say we got Republicans say, yeah, we got him. But are we are we the people going to be winning because I want border security, even Trump yesterday was say, listen, a wall, whatever you wanna call it, we need something. Because what we're doing right now is not working. We have that clip of the president. Let's see which one did that is we just heard from Nancy. Here's Trump Trump cut cut it. They basically said, and I think I can take the word basically out without a wall. You cannot have border security without a very strong form a barrier. Call it what you will. But without a wall, you cannot have border security will work. So he's talking about the border patrol union who was standing right next to him in this press event. These guys said, listen, we need this. We need wherever we have a wall. It works. It works. Politics. It's all about the politics. So if I mean, one of the things we're thinking, what would it be like if Donald Trump actually said tell you what I'm gonna put down five million dollars. It's going to be a down payment. I want five billion. I'm gonna personally write a check for five million right now. I think that'd be pretty cool. Yeah. Do we did we find out if you can legally do that? Well, I guess anybody can write a check to the treasury, right? Say I'm gonna ride if I want to write a check to the treasury. And here's the deal, if we if you guys will fund this thing, I'm gonna designated goes to the wall. Or something like that. If President Trump wants to end this government shutdown to get congress to approve funding for his border wall. Here's a way to do it. If he's willing to compromise with the Democrats. I don't think he's willing to compromise. Likewise, if the Democrats want to end, the shutdown an address this humanitarian crisis at the border, well, then they should compromise. I mean at the end of the day somebody's gotta make a compromise. Yeah. Somebody's gotta bugs. He's got budge. But as I mean, I don't think anybody, well, I won't be surprised if nobody does because the fight over this border wall isn't really about addressing conditions at the border. It's about domestic policies. It's about signaling things to the base. Trump's got his base. They want the wall Pelosi's got her base. They don't want the wall. So there we go. That's that's where we are in America today. Folks was Chucky Schumer saying Chucky Schumer, Chucky Schumer, Chucky Schumer, says the president has rejected. All the Democrats offers offers cut be Chuck Schumer. President Trump is holding the government hostage over his wall hostage. That's the news. The wellbeing. Millions of Americans hostage. Yes. A futile attempt to get what he wants. All right, Chucky. And that's what they're doing. It's a hostage crisis. Now. Okay. Sea of Cortes. So New York. Democrat Representative Alexandria, okay? See cortes. She actually said next time this what she said last month next time, we have a government shutdown congressional salaries should be furloughed as well. That was a tweet in December. She said it's completely unacceptable that members of congress could force a government shutdown on partisan lines and then have congressional salaries exempt from that decision. She said have some integrity. So she's asked about this tweet yesterday. And you know, how she answered. I gotta run. Very. I gotta run. Oh, she's learning. So fast. Well, see here is it Anna, Anna, Anna, Anna. My. Doesn't matter sweetheart whatever, I love you just love you right off the bat. I said that to my husband you love me. What's going on? Happy new year merry Christmas Papillon. Yes. Yes. All the. Yeah. It's cold. It's cold and busy play with my little ligature four legged children. Oh, yes. No my legs. That's nice. Anyway. Dying here because I had advice. Okay. I wonderful speaker now, okay? Could look like a million dollars this shutdown that we have going on and take advantage of it and glow. These departments are now shut down for what they're keying fourteen days. Fourteen days today. Yes, no one, no one has been missed aside. Sanitation department number one. They could read load the personnel reassigned them to salad nation, right? Good point. Good point. These departments. How would they not miss fourteen days? Do we really need them? All these are great points. Misreport schnauzer MRs police. The bull by the horns could look like a million dollars all of Trump supporters into a MRs he'll be our goddess. Oh that I you know, I love you. You've got such enthusiasm. You've got such a positive attitude and your thinker. You've come up with two great ideas, which I'm going to be repeating throughout the course of the broadcast God more than that. And I had no way of getting my ideas to be appropriate people. Well, you call here. And this is a start. Oh, this isn't the best idea came up with today. I love it. I tell you. I love home. I tried to find the phone number score, the White House for senators or whatever first of all when district Cavanaugh supreme court Justice with speed. Either way Anna, here's what I wanted. You can I I want you to be placed on hold, and I want you were here, the next caller, then you can respond, okay. So just just stay on hold and listened to the broadcast. Okay. And just stay put on hold. Okay. So now, we've got David from San Francisco Cecchi and David good morning. You're on KABC talk to us about your take on the government shutdown. Morning, brian. I'm certainly against it. Decide that the peoples property is being damaged by it. If you knew about Trump and Trump's history, he's organized crime and to ruin our property if you look at Trump's history in New York City during the sixties and seventies he also developed the white flight, he he did the fear mongering in New York City. So that everybody fled New York City abandoned the city, and then he was there to buy up their land at auction prices. So Trump knows how to ruin something. So that he can buy it up later discounted price. What what's he ruining now that he could buy later? Well, name the beaches the mountains, the farmland shutting down the borders that means it all the farmers ranchers can't get their crops in or out. And so now the foods rotten in the fields. And there's Trump with his buddies that are going to sell out America. Those guys those farmers ranchers are gonna lose their land because they couldn't get their crops dealt with and. The big real estate broker Trump and his real estate buddies going to snap it up. No that's his scam. He's been doing it for forty years. So you know to hear you all protecting him. I could only think that you're all part of organized crime to probably David. I appreciate you setting off here on Kay's phone don't be a stranger. Thanks for joining, you know about case. Here we go now. Now now, we go back to Anna, so anti you heard all of that. So your response, please from Iowa. Well, he's a plan. And I mean more than one way not just a plant plant between the two. Figuratively. No, MR Trump, President Trump over thirty years. I have never met the man face to face never shook his hand. But I've known the man for over thirty years. I'm a former jersey girl. I understand him. I know I get your jokes. I get it. Yes. People from that part of the world do they too? He's he is quintessential New York. And and for that matter, New Jersey, right east coast. Yeah jersey. But here's the thing about east coast people if I may finish my thought. Yes. East coast people. We may be loud bullies. Point. We not politically correct true true. And you're nobody's either. We are honest, and we're honest, look, Kenny, I we are not backstabbers find more of that ear. Oh, without a doubt. Yeah. Absolutely. All right. Listen, I'm late for traffic. I appreciate you. Check it in and we hope to hear from you in the very near future. Okay. Hey, I got more to tell you you have caller ID web. Mcdonagh number. I know maybe we could talk. Yes. So I can give you some more parole surfing. Thank you pearls of wisdom in Iowa, Anna. Thank you very much. We gotta get the traffic in four minutes late worth it. It was totally worth it. I liked that. She thinks we have caller ID to where we have all the caller ID. We got all the technology. "With Brian Sussman. All right. Let me give you the green. Here's what the progressive. Democrats want from Nancy Pelosi. And I suppose maybe in her heart of hearts Nancy wants this as well. But she realizes we're not quite there yet don't push for this now because we need to take back the White House and the Senate, and then we can move for the green deal. Although I think Nancy Pelosi's enough of a business woman to know what this looks like in the end, but Nancy Pelosi is also one of the wealthiest women in America. So she knows that whatever happens to this country. She has the richest to insulate herself from the problems that will be created all these big time, rich liberals. No, that's why they have all their money. They know that when it all goes to Helena, Handbasket, I will have mine they can eat. There's I'm going to be okay. They'll be safe when their ideas go south. They all believe. Some of the most money grubbing tight individuals. I've ever met are liberals in the valley. There's liberals a as long, but man when it comes to their money, they want there's. To them. It's all about the money. And and they want to protect themselves never seen. You would think liberals just oh, I want to help people. I want to just no, no, no, no, no, no, no. There's some of the some of the greediest people. I've met are otherwise liberal people. I don't quite get it. But that's just the way it works for. They wanna.
