"Appear, And when you make appearances on that radio show the Vegas take and Brian's like, Yeah. This guy listens to your radio show every day. I'm like, really, And he's like, Oh, you're Brian. Like Yeah, I'm that guy got a face for radio. But I run into these people every day that listened to the show and Enjoy it. Enjoy the banter. Enjoy the conversation. They're entertained by it. And we appreciate that. You know, I was at the poker table last night and I ran into somebody that listens to the show. That recognized my voice. I mean, that happens all the time, So we appreciate all of you. That's what I'm trying to say. We have a big event October 2nd. It's on the top of Larry Flynt Hustler Club No J D might be giving out free lap dances, but I will not, but no In all seriousness. It's It's a beautiful club up there on top of Larry Flynt hustler. It's called few. So I'm calling it a listener appreciation day. Why? Because it's free. It's two p.m. October 2nd, which is a Saturday and it's going to give you all the opportunity to meet us and everybody associated with the show. Brian Salman, Channel three. Sports will also be a part of our panel. We're going to do a Q and a session and there's gonna be food and drinks that are going to be offered. It's going to be a lot of fun, so please join us. It's free. We're also going to be trying to raise money for the ACP. Roxanne will be there. October. 2nd. Saturday, two PM on top of Larry Flynt Hustler Club. It's free. Please come out and please check us out. Come out there. And wish me a 36th birthday because I turned 36 years old in October 2nd, but you're still a millennial. Technically, I just want to suppose you're still millennial anyway, really dislike that term a lot. There were a lot of millennials at Allegiant Stadium. Over the weekend. It wasn't for the Raiders will get to the Raiders coming up at the bottom of the hour. By the way, my friend Scott Gulbrandsen, who is the creator and founder of Silver and black today, well, joining us huge win by the Raiders on the road. What a great win by the rages. We'll talk about that a little bit later. We got to talk a little, you know, be football, but by the way, Speaking of UNLV tomorrow on the show Had you and I'll be basketball coach Kevin Krueger will be joining us. They're retiring some jerseys. And I'll tell you the recruiting job. Kevin Krueger has done very impressive. I'm very excited for this upcoming you and I'll be basketball season and I've said it before, and I'll say it again now, especially the fact that Lon Kruger is around the basketball program Kevin, I believe is going to succeed. I think he's gonna do to the U. N l V program what Kevin Krueger was able to do and make us nationally relevant again. So Kevin will be joining us tomorrow but speak up program That's not nationally relevant. JD. I think you would agree on that would be the UNLV football program, So I'm rolling out J D to the Allegiant Stadium over the weekend. Saturday night. National TELEVISION Nobody expects UNLV to beat Iowa State Iowa State as a top 15 team in the country, their defense, arguably top three in the country, But even this very good top 15 just like their team. Probably defense is very good on top three Iowa, Iowa might have top three their quarterback. Is not a Heisman candidate. I disagree with people when they say that, but that being said, Let me just speak in general terms because we're not really talking about Iowa State. Right? Right. Iowa states are very good football team, okay, Nobody expected you and I'll be too hang with this team. That's why the bookmakers were given you and I'll be 32 points with that being said. He would be one thing entire first half without getting they got one first down. One first down. Okay. You had Now, JD said. Four times as many I was at the game. I'm going to go as far as to say there were at least twice as many Iowa State fans innuendo defense, So the upper bowl well with Iowa State 35 K. And I believe 28,000 where Iowa State fans so there were a lot of Iowa State fans. And it's an embarrassment when when I understand the Iowa State fans they travel. It's a good football team. You're playing an illusion Stadium. You don't want to sound like a road game, and it did. Las Vegas. I mean, that's going to happen a lot. I know I always states very good. I understand. UNLV is not very good. Embarrassing performance by UNLV football once again, and I'm sick of the excuses Marvin Menzies with the basketball program. We heard it time and time again. All these are my babies were young, and then he gets fired because he couldn't win. A royal starting to do the same thing that he calls the program racist. Well, yeah, Royal, Thank God isn't doing that at least Not yet. At least not yet. But, uh, no. Listen, you and LV kicked a field goal. They didn't even sniff the end zone. There was one drive they had in the second half where you had a couple nice completions by Rogers. And you're thinking to yourself, OK, maybe they'll score touchdown. Now. The game was over in the first quarter for the most part. And what is Marcus Arroyo? Do JD He switches the quarterback in the middle of the drive. Now I understand. That You have some injuries on this team. I understand that there's only so much you can do. This is not a well coached football team. The defense is pathetic. I'm not sure UNLV wins a game this year. So my question is If it's enough because you and I'll be might win a game or two. I don't think that's going to happen, but they might. What if Marcus Arroyo loses every game this year? Remember he lost every game last year? If you have two seasons in a row. Of a coach that is unable to win one football game. Should he come back for your three? I ask you that question. You're asking me that question right now. Brian Marcus Arroyo is on his way to one of the worst starts for any coach in the history of the visible Division One football. I mean, he's all in nine. He has covered. One spread. Right. Forget about this president is losing football games. Yeah, but losing a football game is is losing like for the score. 43 Eastern Washington was 33 to 29 or 20 to 33 to 27. That was that was a competitive game. You know the real winners one? Yeah. Okay, the number 12 FCS team, one of the reasons why Marvin Menzies was fired because he was he..

"I think Arizona State knew that this was going to be a pushover game. I think they kind of sleepwalk through the first half. Yes, you can, say UNLV. Defensively, they hung with one of the best teams in the country. I just don't think Arizona State took you and I'll be very seriously. Then it's 14 10 at the half in Arizona said all right, we better start playing. They did now. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm a little cynical, but that's my opinion there if there's any way That they can stick around and keep this game competitive. I'd be very impressed, and I'll congratulate them on. I know there's no moral victories, but I think it's a moral victory here if they keep this game close with that being said, Brian, I have to ask you this. Can I ask Brian Salman the same question. I do not understand what cultural Royal and his staff were thinking and starting at east of the Eastern Washington game, Justin Rogers over Broomfield now, Brian Salman said. Well, you don't know what they saw in practice. Yada yada yada. Okay, you're right. I don't know what they saw in practice. I know what I've seen in games and the fact that Rogers played an entire first half in a winnable game against Eastern Washington. It took the second half for them to put in Broomfield. Makes absolutely and positively no sense to me. What do you say there? I agree, 100%. I mean, I don't think that's a no brainer Brand, Justin Rogers looked like a deer in headlights out there. He made mistake after mistake throws didn't play well at all. And then you see a total difference when Doug Brumfield came in, and you wonder what took him so long to make that to make that move? Maybe that's a whole different game. If he's playing the first half, But again, I agree with Brian Schellman on this saying You don't know what he sees in practice. You would hope the Royal saw that in practice at least Justin Rogers and Doug Brunt there were very close and very competitive. And if you look at You know, we saw the lineup card It was it was literally dug broke. It was listed first on that card, it, said Doug Brumfield. Or Justin Rogers than Justin Rogers came out as the starter. But I'm not saying this team. This team could win two games this year Still, and I'm not going much beyond that. I am just saying compared to what I saw last year. It is an improvement and I write the play at the quarterback position with Broomfield. How they've got Kate Martell on the bench. You had some injured, so it's amazing. They got this guy to come back here. You know, he didn't play well at Ohio State didn't get it really a chance at Miami and now he's back here and it broke fields hurt, which he is. They say that These days a day with his upper body injury. You might not be on the field tomorrow night. I hope that they put in tape our tongue. We can see what this could do. Old Bishop Gorman product was like a blue chip player of the year out of high school, so I don't know how you can say this team is not competitive based on what we saw in the first two games, and just the fact that we saw two football games that you watched almost until the end, and secondly, you know again. We're not saying this is going to be any kind of a judge or not. I'm just saying they're competitive and they're a proof of where they were last year, Marcus Well, I don't know what he's thinking. Half the time I said at all times. I mean, he doesn't talk to anybody. That's true. It's hard to know. Is taking is not going to Can you look at game where you say that's a game? They can win. I mean the rest of the schedule. They're not going to be favored in any of these games. The Mountain West is pretty competitive. Pretty good this year. Uh, a game that I put on the calendar that I said. That's a game they could win. This was three weeks ago, I said Utah state I've watched Utah State played the last couple weeks. They have a very good first year coach. They're they're They're much better than I thought. I don't think they beat Utah State Now I was wrong there. Do you see a game? Where you say, Okay, That's a game. I think you and I'll be code or should win that game. You know, Brian, and it's tough to say Yeah, there's a couple games. I could maybe see them. You could maybe see them. What about, uh, you know, ut esa that you know that they're playing with that Santa told University of Texas San Antonio. I mean, road runs anything about that team, but they're on the road playing them on October 2nd. I would say that maybe a winnable game. I have to do a little research on it. I don't think Hawaii is that good, but they can play competitively and that games at home. That's a possibility. Hawaii, you know, coming a long way, and they might look at the biggest vacation, although they live in a way, you know, I I just don't know. I don't know how good new Mexico is going to be this year, Brian. It's very hard to say. But like I said, if they lost every game this year, you're not going to see the shocked at the end of the season, but I think they'll find a way to win two games. Based on what I saw. I'm going to say one. I'm going to say one. We'll have to wait and see what happens. Why don't we end this segment on a very positive you and all the note? There's a story that just came out today. Kevin Krueger is a big part of this, and I should have mentioned this earlier. He's retiring to basketball jerseys, two legends to UNLV legends Freddie Banks and Robert Smith. They just announced this and Freddie Banks was asked about this and by the way, try to get Freddie Banks on this show. We'll try to do that next week. I'd love to talk to Freddy and we know Robert Smith. He's had some else. Health issues. He had a stroke, and he's also the former color commentary. With John Sandler for you and all these flagship and Robert Smith is a great guy. Just such a great guy hope he's doing better. And Freddie Banks, another great guy and a legend. What do you make of this? I think this is such a phenomenal story. This is nothing that Marvin Menzies without ever dreamed of doing. I'm going to throw TJ's name out there to do. This is something I could have seen Dave Rice do. But what do you make of this? I think, Kevin, uh Just a great job and retiring these two jerseys. No, it's even more with him integrating himself into our into into. You know, Las Vegas. I mean, I think absolutely no question about it. Freddy brags, tremendous player and, of course, Robert Smith. You know, back in the seventies, but as you mentioned doing color both those guys are preservative. This. It's a really good way to endear yourself to be more to the university to the fans. I like it. I'm a little. It's kind of weird. You're retiring a name. Which their names retired, because the team anywhere but their numbers from what I understand aren't going to be retired, so other players will still be able to put their numbers, But their names will be up in the rafters. So that's kind of a little strange to me. Usually when you retire name, the number goes along with it. Right, Um, but I don't know that they were good enough to actually retire their numbers for no one ever wearing them at UNLV. But Brian, I agree with you 100%. I think as far as the culture goes on the way to come in and do something really positive for the university had tributes to to, as you said, you know, well deserved great UNLV former players. I think it's phenomenal. We agree. Let's end on that positive note. Brian Feldman, Fox Sports radio Look forward to hearing you Pregame for the UNLV game football game Saturday night. Always a pleasure Having you on my friend Appreciate you. JD Bryant is always appreciate you guys and I'll see you soon. Thanks. Thanks. Elaboration so We have a few minutes here. I just want to say this, You know, Um There are a lot of people I shouldn't say a lot..

"They're terrible if they were, if they're able to get to at least 15. This season and being the top half of the NFL, then I think the Raiders are a playoff team, but if they're not, they're not going to win games and they played. They played well against the former M V. P and they played well enough to keep them in the game. In order to get a win. They got turnovers and you're right. But I mean, that's the reason why they won that game. They got that bad fumble and set them up for that crazy touchdown about that. How about a game when he touched down where the defense just blows the coverage and they told him wide open like I What? I don't think they obviously were not expect. They were expecting a run because they're already in field goal range. That was a balls Heathrow. I know he was wide open, but, you know Derek Carr talked about that at the game, and he kind of sense that in one on one coverage there that that was something he was looking at, and they had, like a little, not verbal communication, but they kind of looked at each other before that play, and, you know, listen, it worked out. It was phenomenal. Listen, you can criticize the coaching in some areas. For example, early in the first half, they go for it Fourth and two in the second quarter, when they did not have a lot of Success running the football. I think you get three. There you can again for lack of a better term Monday morning quarterback what took place I don't understand when you're about to kick a field goal on second and nine, when you have plenty of time to run a couple of plays, then they get the five yard penalty. Then they're out of field goal range. There were some coaching errors and some mistakes. That wasn't that was just terrible. Element was the coach. You did that time management? Yeah, horrible. You can't make those mistakes, and Jon Gruden and his staff need to do a better job there with that. Being said defensively they were fantastic. They did everything they could, uh, play calling down the stretch was also fantastic. And I think we all agree Great Night for Raider Nation Great night for the history of Las Vegas and Las Vegas sports. If you're just joining us, we're speaking with Brian Salman. From Channel three sports. Okay, Brian. Now the hard part is the Raiders have to put this to bed in the grand scheme of things. While it was a great night. It's only one win. And now they're on the road against a very good Pittsburgh Steelers team. Completely different atmosphere. You're in the elements you're outside. You're playing against Ben Roethlisberger and that really, really good Pittsburgh defense. Talk to me about this game number one mentally. How do the Raiders get over this? Wind? Mentally prepare for Pittsburgh on a short week. How did they get out of there with the wind? I think this is this is a tough spot for the Raiders. This is almost an impossible type of wind. You know what I mean? Because I think the biggest part of his the fact that it's on a short week. And you know, and you're playing on the road and you're playing all the way across the country and you're playing against a team. That is good. Like you said the Pittsburgh Steelers. I mean, the game is that 10 o'clock in the morning our time. Uh, so I mean, really, the cards could not be stacked against the Raiders any worse as far as like a game. So The expectations. Uh, I guarantee when you probably looked at the line, they've got to be at least uh, 55 Point Dogs. Point Dog. It started at six. It's down to 5.5. That surprises me, people. People better down a little bit. I put it at seven a half. Am I good bye. Guessing that you're truly phenomenal guessing that I think I think the Raiders lose by double digits. I really do think they cover the spread. Okay? I mean, that's that's a good bet. Good back. Look at certain win this game. I mean, if you think about all the stuff, they have to go through emotional highs, all that whatever they shouldn't win this game, however, think about this. You know, I'm a glass half full kind of guy. Sure, if they do manage to win this game, it could make their season. You know, I mean, it's one of those games that like saying they just they won the game. Somehow, I agree. Be an unbelievable one. Yes, it could ignite them to a great, great great season. So I think that the reason the Raiders cover the spread the brothers burgers always had a really good offensive line. Pouncey retired to Castro's gone villain waves on the Ravens. Their left tackle their left tack on there, right tackle and they leave a lot to be desired. I think that if it got to a place, I don't know that it's going to But I think that's equal a war four is going to have a really hard time with Max Crosby and Roethlisberger is not going to have a lot of time. He's not exactly mobile right now. And then Najee Harris is a rookie running back. So we've seen the Raiders are capable of forcing fumbles. They forced three against the Mark Jackson. I think they're probably force one or two this weekend and then I saw something in Derek Carr last week. I never seen before. I saw Derek Carr that he looked, he come. He almost said that Tom Brady looking his Iowa. He just refused to lose the game. I've never seen him that intense before. I think that Derek Carr, his head is really into the season. Maybe that's because the game was at home. But then also, Darren Waller has averaged 11 catches. Every single game for the last seven games, and it was his birthday on Monday. He's everything is 11 exceptions, really the last the last seven games? This this guy is getting targeted 15 16 times a game. He doesn't and he's 66 to 50. He runs like a 44. He's really, really strong athlete. I think that the Raiders have the offense to stay competitive. And to stay within a touchdown of these guys, But I do believe that the game goes away under there was under 47 a half of the total 47 half. I think this game is kind of like me like a 24 24 21 type of game. Wow. 24 21. You think the Raiders covered? Wow, I think so. I mean, so you know what they say. They say that is the score of this game. Um, honestly in my eyes That's a moral victory. That's almost a win for the Raiders. 24 21. That's almost a win, but I disagree. I disagree with 100%. I think you mentioned some of the elements, Brian, I think I think the Raiders lose this game. I hope I'm wrong. I'm not going to be wagering on the game. But if I had to, I would take Pittsburgh. I think they covered the spread. Uh, you could look at it and say, You've got to look at how well Pittsburgh played in week one, too. I think that's also part of it. You got Ben Roethlisberger, who's extremely healthy. You have a Pittsburgh Steelers team that's very healthy. A good The head football coach and A really good defense. Uh, Derek Carr. If there's one thing he struggled in his career that I would put at the top of the list, it's consistency and listen. A lot of quarterbacks struggle with that. He's not the only one. I think he's improving. He's getting better, you know, and and he was phenomenal in the fourth quarter, Derek Carr cannot have a first half on the road against Pittsburgh like he had in Las Vegas. Or they're in a lot of trouble. They need to be good right from the get go. It's going to be a hostile environment up to six. It's going to be a hostile environment, and I believe Derek Carr needs to have he's he needs to be at his best for them to even be in the game. I really feel that way. That's how good Pittsburgh is. I think Pittsburgh wins this game by at least 10 points. I could be wrong, Brian. Wow, You know what? This is my thing. As far as the Raiders and criticizing whether or not they win or trying to predict whether that they win or lose. To me. It is never on Derek Carr. I think he's like the last person to talk about. It's all about If their defense can hold Pittsburgh under 30 points. If they can do that, I think they will always be in the game. If you look at Derek Carr's numbers over the past, Whatever years man he's He solid. He is the to me..

That are going to be protesting defending basically the insurrectionists. So we're going to talk a little bit about that tomorrow. And Russ Langer, who is the voice of you want to be football will be joining us on the line tomorrow. So a very busy day tomorrow right now joining us To talk everything and everything. Raiders, maybe a little bit of you and I'll be football as well as Mr King anchor himself. I've made a couple appearances on Channel three. By the way over the course of the last few weeks. My good friend Brian Salman joining us right in the line. Who, by the way, just celebrated his 21st birthday. Isn't that right, Brian? That's right, man. I celebrated with a couple of shots, shots, shots. No, no, that was awesome. Having, uh, having a lunch with your two beautiful daughters who are very well behaved by the way as well, Uh, you're a better father than I. That's for you. By the way, I learned something about Brian. You know, he cooks better father than you, that's for sure. Well, I'm not a father. So, yes, I would agree with that, at least as far as I know of. I'm not a father. But Brian wakes up every morning and he cooks breakfast for his two young daughters. Can you believe that? J d I think he deserves. Uh, and father's day. I hope I hope that they appreciate you know, they take care of me. Very well. Good. Good. I'm good. Thank you. I'm happy to hear that. Alright, Brian, let's get right down to business, My friend. You've covered the New England Patriots. You've you've been to the Super Bowl. You've been on the field for the Super Bowl. You've seen some pretty wild and crazy football games in your day. As have I, But with that being said we were both in Allegiance Stadium on Monday night. Have you ever seen a game like that? That was, uh, Raiders winning in spectacular fashion against Baltimore? The Baltimore raisins as I like. Call them. Uh but, Brian, what a phenomenal exciting football game, huh? Man, that was, uh, Gwen Stefani B a N N and then s. I don't know how to spell it. But that game was bananas. Man that came was absolutely bananas. In mind you You kind of brought you brought it up. But, yes, I was on the Super Bowl for the on the field for the Super Bowl when the Patriots got to interception on the goal line that was crazy. I was at the Super Bowl when the lights turned out in New Orleans after Beyonce performed for the Ravens in the 49 game, That was kind of a, you know, kind of an odd situation. But this game with the Raiders Monday night football, But entire nation watching probably internationally, you know what I mean. You saw the ratings for the game one ESPN or the roof. Yeah. I mean, the stakes. Um Vegas was on fire Ice Cube to short all kind of rich Jackson was there last night? Yeah. Gladys Knight that game. I was saying, Wow, literally, for about 24 hours. I went on the air the next day and, like six o'clock was still saying, just Wow. Not every day on this show where we'll do, like three hours talking about football came, but we kind of did on Tuesday. I mean, obviously we talked about a lot of other things like the fact that there was no crime. We had Oscar Goodman. I'm talking about that The Raiders fans behave themselves. It seemed like it was a great atmosphere. Everybody was having fun. Uh, it didn't seem like there were many incidents going on. People were safe. They were vaccinated. For the most part. I think not just the football game, which I don't think you could have asked for a better game, but the fact that it was smooth sailing getting in. It was smooth sailing. Getting out. The traffic wasn't as bad as people thought it was going to be, and it just seemed like everything went well. And I was really happy for the I was really happy for the Raiders organization, Uh, one and they won the game. And it's funny. Brian in the press conference after when I was at the press conference after and I asked Jon Gruden, I said, if you ever experienced the game like this before, and his response was quoted everywhere, he said, I feel like I was a cat and I died nine times or, you know, I just That was the quote that the question that I asked him and I think he was. He was telling the truth. He was telling the truth, you know? And then I spoke to Derek Carr and car said it's probably the loudest arena he's ever played a football game in it, just like you know. These guys are not lying there, not sugar coating. I mean, Raider Nation is here. It's alive, and I do believe if this game was last year, Raiders don't win that football game. The fans had a lot to do with it as well, Man. We've talked about that, like I've talked about that on this show. I've talked about that on television. With the Raiders and their studio that Raider Nation fans inside of Allegiance Stadium is easily going to be good for at least 2 to 3 wins for the team this season. You know what I mean? That's one of them. That's literally one of them. I mean, the Raiders did what they could to try to give the game away. They tried to lose true first and call first and called the one yard line. Yeah. Yeah, but But yes, man. That game was just again. Um, me thinking about it right now and kind of reliving the atmosphere of the energy and what happened? The tide's turning, you know, grabbing victory from the jaws of defeat. That game was crazy. What do you make of? You know Lamar Jackson. I think we all could agree. He's one of the most exciting players in the league. Extremely athletic, like crazy athletic the way he scrambles for yards. I mean, phenomenal. We all know that. He's a phenomenal quarterback with that being said. How do you fumble the ball late in the fourth quarter? That's enough. And then in overtime at your own 30 yard line, I mean to me, I was a little surprised at that. No, I mean that was bad. It was bad. The mistakes that he made in that game were bad and they cost in the game. However, you know, on the flip side of that they're not even remotely in that position. If he wasn't as good as he was correct, I agree about the past the past that he threw in the fourth quarter. That was great top of the receiver just dropped it in his hands set up back to goal or that they think before, if you have field goal that was one of the probably the best. Has Throne. In the game. I agree passing. I've seen all your 100% right on that, Brian. I think you also agree with me. You've got to give the Raiders the reason why the Raiders were in that football game to begin with. And, yeah, we can talk about how great Derek Carr was in the fourth quarter and then over time, but the Raiders defense. I mean, that's the reason they cause they also caused a few fumbles. They held Baltimore two field goals when it could have easily been, you know of two or three touchdown game. I give the Raiders defense a lot of credit. I also give them credit with the protection. I said that that was the key to the game, and Derek Carr needs time to throw the football. Guess what? He had enough time to throw the ball. He made big plays when you needed to make big plays. I was really also happy for Derek Harper. He's done this plenty of times in the fourth quarter. This is nothing new for him. It is not exactly you said it the the main ingredient for the win. In that game. Absolutely. Was the Raiders defense? I mean, the crowd. Obviously, you know that played a huge part of the atmosphere and everything else But, you know, we talked about this. The defense was 30th only last year..

"Right. Welcome back. It is the Vegas take so glad you could join us again. Tomorrow we're going to remember 9 11, and we're going to take your phone calls. I don't want to make it about politics tomorrow. We have enough of that on this show tomorrow. We're going to take a break from that. We're going to talk about 20 years later, because Saturday is the 20 year anniversary of 9 11, We're going to hear your stories. Human stories. We've got a couple of great guests lined up for you tomorrow to some that were a block away from the World Trade Center when it collapsed. Some that were in the building that we're able to make it out. And we're gonna want to hear your stories. I think I speak for everyone. When I say for the most part, unless you're unless you're in your early twenties, or you weren't born. We all know where we were. On 9 11, right. We remember where we were. Like for me, at least like it was yesterday. So I'm gonna want to hear all those stories. Take a few quick phone calls. Now we have a few people waiting on hold. Let's go to herb herbs. Next on the Vegas take. Hello, Herb. I heard We lost her. Let's go to Stephen. Stephen is next on the biggest take. Hello, Steven Steven. Oh, Oh, They're dropping like flies. Ladies and gentlemen, they're dropping like flies. We do have Brian Salman from Channel three. Who was going to be joining us next on the show. So what? We're going to give him a call to talk A little Raiders talk by the way. Before we get to, uh, NFL talking by the way, the NFL season. Would you say they're dropping the puck tonight? They're they're tipping it off tonight. The first pitches tonight. Kickoff is tonight. Yeah, they're they're touching gloves. And yes, yes. What is the spread on the game tonight? By the way, you would know more than I honestly don't even know. I think I think it's six. I think it's Dallas. I think it's Tampa Bay. Minus six. Of course. The Buccaneers her favorite? Well, obviously, Yeah. No, I think Dallas once again outright. You think Dallas beat Tampa? Yeah, They've got a lot better. I will say this very good offense. Ezekiel Elliott lost a lot of weight in the off season. I will say they added that they added key defensive piece with Micah Parsons, the rookie linebacker at Penn State. Tom Brady's The guys still 43 years old pushing 44. I do find the spread to be a little bit. I think it's six right? I do find it to be a little bit telling. And here's what I mean by that. We talk about this from time to time. You have Tom Brady Super Bowl champions when the spread is six. It makes me believe that the books want you to bet Tampa Bay. It almost looks too good to be true, folks. When something looks too good to be true, I take the other side. I agree with J D. I don't know if Dallas is going to win the game. I wouldn't be surprised of Tampa Bay won by three. But I would take the points with Dallas tonight. I think we're going to see a lot of teasers Tampa Bay and the over Probably six points, otherwise seven point teas. And I think those are going to lose because Dallas going to win the game by a touchdown. Plus, I mean, can we just be honest here? Jerry Jones might be a fantastic businessman, but he's a failure as managing this Dallas Cowboys team. They just don't win. They don't win the big games. They don't win in the playoffs. Am I blaming him for everything? No, I'm not. But anyway, by the way, the spread is nine. Oh Oh, it's nine. It's up to nine, but by the way What I say still stands. Uh, I would. I would absolutely fact more. So now I think that you take the points. I'm not saying Dallas is gonna win the football game. But anyway, we got a big football game and I don't usually bet the first game this season. That's why I didn't know the spread. We got a big football game coming up in Las Vegas. It's Monday night against the Baltimore Raisin Ravens. I know some of you the Baltimore raisins. I call them the raisins. Yeah, so so I know you guys thought the big football game was maybe you and I'll be against Arizona State. That's not the case. I wouldn't call that a big 33 point dogs. But I will say that the game Monday night is going to be a lot. To find very winnable game. Um well, the Ravens do worry me a little bit. We'll get to that right now. Brian Salman. He is the lead anchor The king of Channel three sports joining us right now Online. By the way, I made an appearance on Channel three the other day. It was a lot of fun. Uh, Brian, thanks for joining us. How are you? I'm doing Alright, man. I appreciate that, man. I can't wait to see the Raiders and the Ravens raises man. That's will be a really good gate. Raisins are there. They're straight out of California, California, man. Hey, I think there should be a team called the California Raisins Act. I think I might just go up. Brian. I've never set foot. In those studios before ever. The one that Brown was that I've never set foot in there know if anybody wants to do a story on how Donald Trump won the election in a landslide, JD would be a fantastic guest. But anyway, moving on. So Brian, we got a big football game Monday night, and obviously this is a historic night. I know there was a preseason game, but this is the first regular season game in Las Vegas, where fans are actually going to be allowed. To watch it in real time in a legion stadium your thoughts on that. Sheer excitement. I am George can stand on busting and busted over here, Jerry, I'm busting And, um yeah, I couldn't be any more excited. It is. It's an historic night, just like you said, Um, a night that nationally, everybody's eyes. You want to be on it. I'd go so far to say that internationally. It's a big game. It'll be. It's something that will be noticed internationally. It's the game of the NFL. Forget tonight, even though you know in Tampa and and Dallas Cowboys Monday night football game with the Raiders and the raisins is going to be of the game. So the spread, I believe is somewhere around 4.5. If I'm not mistaken on this one. What concerns you about the Ravens in this game? You know, I don't know if there is good defensively of the as they've been in years past. But here's what I will say about the Ravens. And I think you are the reasons as I think you'll agree with me on this one. They are going to be blitzing the entire game. That is what the Ravens do. If you look at the Raiders, and you look at Derek Carr, the games where he seems to struggle is when the blitz is on and it appears to me and correct me. I'm wrong. That's the Ravens game plan. They're going to be blitz in the entire game. They're going to be trying to put a lot of pressure on Derek Carr your thoughts on that. And do you agree with that? I do agree with that. And if I were the Baltimore raises, I'm have to go with this throughout the entire show. It follows a racist. Uh, I would be both in as well. You have to find out if the Raiders offensive line one is going to hold up completely rebuild, right? They got rid of all their offensive lineman for the most part, except for a couple of guys. Um and you want to see if, uh, you know derek cars and actually throw the ball under oppression, Everything else but the big thing. That worries me about Baltimore is the fact that they've had I think I I got a call that I didn't I didn't catch right. I got a voicemail, man, but I can play running back form is so um, yeah, they've got Levian bell. They're trying not leave you on Bill. That's how bad things are for them. Wow. Exactly like their running back course really, really bad, So I think that they have their own questions that need to be answered. And just like just like the Raiders did against the New Orleans Saints and their opener on Sunday night and Monday night camera what night? It was, but I think it was Monday night. Just like they did against them and their opener their their dogs to lose that game. They won. I beat the Raiders wound I really do. Yeah, I think that this is a game. That is one of those where you would think I'm not saying Baltimore is not going to be jacked up for this game. Of course they are. Of course they want to win this game. It's the first game of the year. But I I just think if there was any game that the Raiders were gonna outperform or a game where you know they want to perform well for the fans again. I'm not saying they don't want to win every game. Of course they do. But you have to be jacked up for this one right first game of the year winnable football game you're going to feel and hear the fans in the arena. It's going to be sold out. For the most part. I think it will be sold out. There might be a few seats, but It's gonna be loud as hell in there. It's going to be hard for the Ravens offense to to be able to communicate. I am one of those, and I don't think the Raiders are going to have a winning season..

And we're going to have around a lot more. No question. All right. So, Brian, I got a couple stories to share with you. One of which you were a part of. So I would like to share this story with our listeners, if possible, So I'm picking up already there. Of course, Brian, I have to, So I'm rolling out to T Mobile. I which just came from the Ice Cube three on three thing, which is awesome. And I'm lined up to, uh Get my credential. This was like, maybe like around noon one. I don't know somewhere around there, and, uh, obviously I'm not going to pay to park I put my blinkers on. It literally took me two minutes to pick up my credential at the box office. I parked on the side there. There's literally nobody there. I'm not impeding any traffic. So I put my blinkers on. I pick up the credential. I catch up with dry there accidentally by the way he would never want want to meet me there on purpose. That was that was accidentally so I'm chiming up with you a little bit. We're talking about the fight, and we're all excited about it. So I'm walking. My car. And these two security guards come up to me. And one of them says you need to get your car out of here right now. And I was very nice. I said no problem, sir. My apologies. Uh am I right so far with the way the story's going, Brian and my factual, So real news real news. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. So I say, Hey, I just wanted to show Brian something on my phone. I think I wanted to show you a text messages and I don't remember it would have taken 10 seconds. Uh, the guy says again. No, you need to leave the car. Now Talk to me like he's my dad again. I show patients and I'm trying to ignore must, But I said, Sir, no problem. Just just give me 20 seconds here. So I show you something on my phone. Don't worry. If your wife is listening, it wasn't naked pictures of anybody. I would never do that. Unfortunately, I wouldn't disrespect your wife like that. And your wife is beautiful. I wouldn't do that. So anyway, I show you something. And it took. Maybe what 20 seconds is that fair break. Oh, yeah, yeah, It's still okay. Still real news. Okay, So I say goodbye to you. I say I'll see you at the fight tonight. Everything's good. I open up my door and I'm literally getting into my car. The car would have been gone within five seconds. He then says to me as I'm getting in my car. I'm going to have to call security on you, sir. That's when I lost it. Brian lost it now. I could have gotten in my car and drove away. I didn't do that. I said you are a fool. Okay. I said, Go ahead and call security. Go ahead. I said Don't you understand? I'm leaving now. What are you trying to do? I said do you want to call the police? I'm leaving my car. Now. I said I said another a few other colorful things to him. And by the way, his assistant kind of shrugging his shoulders who was next to look giving me a look like I'm sorry, bro. I'm sorry. You know, he's my boss. I'm sorry. This guy was such an a hole, Brian. He was such a jerk. And I'm saying to myself and you watch the whole thing. I'm thinking why do people make other people's lives miserable? Why are they doing that? Does he understand? By the time he calls security that will take 10 minutes. By the time they called police. I'll take another 20 minutes. I'm leaving right now. I'm leaving with my car. Why? Why would people do that? Brian? You know, abuse of power and guys feeling like he he was trying to be the MVP. Security guard for the day. He was trying to win the award. I mean, you know, they passed that out after every big event over at T Mobile Arena, and he was trying to earn the nbt So yeah, he was being unnecessary. It was. You know what you can you can tell the negative. Irritating energy from the time that he walked up with Howard and I was being nice, like, right from the get go. I wasn't being a jerk. Like I hope Youll O'Brien you're being no. I was like I apologized because I'm sorry, sir. I'll get it out here in 20 seconds apart and he kept going. I'm like, what are you doing, Dude? Yeah, I'd be the first to say if you're trying to be it and take antagonist or whatever. And you weren't You're being smart rating. And you? Yeah. Jerk. You didn't show it. Do you run into? Thank you, Brian, do you do you run into people like that in your everyday life like people that just try to make your life miserable for no reason. Oh, wow. Yeah, way too often, Rachel. I mean, they just reminds me of the time when we're after. You know, we runnin rebels basketball game to sit down and the security gardens. Yeah, about sitting. Okay, so that's an interesting point. I remember what you're talking about. So I was with a bunch of my friends and you were We all have credentials. You have a credential? By the way, if anybody should recognize anybody in that group, it's you. Not me. I have a face for radio. You're on TV every night and then the guy just addresses you and he doesn't address any of us And he says to you, you can't sit there, sir. Do you have a credential? And then you kind of gave me the look like is this guy serious? Like, I don't understand people, Brian. I just feel like we have a lot of we already have enough stresses in life with Covid. We have political divide racial divide. We're going through a lot in this country and I feel like sometimes people just want to make other people's lives more miserable. And the only thing I could come up with this. They think they're more important than they are. And they they're just idiots. I don't even know what else to say. Yeah, I don't. I don't get that man like people. It's just like it's um It's a guy who was the bouncer, you know. Unfortunately, sometimes You know, it's the irritating police officer who wants to pull you over and be like it asked for no reason, right? Which doesn't have hasn't happened. Often as I've gotten older, you know what I mean? But it happened a time when I was younger, Um Okay. How about this? This is this is an instance that it happened. I can't remember who the heck I was walking with. I was leaving T Mobile Arena and it was me. Mm. I want.

And as we get closer to playoff time, we'd love to have you on again to talk a little Las Vegas. Aces. Basketball. Cassandra. Thank you so much for joining us. We appreciate you. Thanks for coming on. All right. Have a good day, You guys I'll try. I'll try lock Cassandra, I'll try to behave. It's hard for me, Cassandra. Yes, but I'll try to She knows me too well. Cassandra Casino with LV sports biz dot com. Alright, so the discussion is not over. She's good coming up. Next segment. We're going to be speaking with Brian Salman. Uh, he's also a good channel three sports as we call him, King anchor. You know, sports is it's a great escape for us, and, uh, watching that fight. I don't think I speak for myself watching that fight. Being in the arena is a privilege and it was a lot of fun to see a legend at work and, uh, listen. The man who beat Manny Pacquiao. You guys deserves recognition. But to see a legend like Manny Pacquiao. I feel privileged to be able to watch them box over the years, one of the best fighters of all time one of the best pound for pound fighters of all time. It's also happens to be a great guy. Yes, I don't agree with his stance on homosexuality, and I'm sure there's other policies. I wouldn't agree with them on. But so what? In the grand scheme of things, he's a great human being. He's a great man. And by the way, I'm all. I also don't think Manny Pacquiao whatever treat somebody differently because they're gay. I don't think there are some people that do that. Those are the people have a problem with. I don't think Manny Pacquiao would ever do something like that. He's a great man. He's a philanthropist. He saved lives. He's done so many wonderful things for the Filipino people. I was talking to so many Filipinos in Las Vegas over the weekend. So many, uh, who are so excited for this fight? I know they're disappointed. But you know what? You can't be disappointed with the human being and the and the effort and what Manny Pacquiao has done for Filipinos across the world, really, but mainly those in his country. He's done so many wonderful things, and I have so much respect for him. Not just for the great fighter. He is, but what he's done something with it right. He's used his platform for good, and he's helped people regardless of who they are their sexuality. Who cares about that stuff? Manny Pacquiao Is a hero. He's a legend, but he's also a hero. Okay. Floyd Mayweather. Great fighter. I wouldn't use any of those words to describe Floyd Mayweather. I'll tell you that right now..

"Canucks game somebody right into that. Well, it's a weird situation because you have the playoffs going on, and they were God, I love any chill hockey. There's so many intense games going on. I was watching the Florida game with Chris the other day. What a phenomenal hockey game one of the best hockey games I've ever seen. It was back and forth back forth, and then all of a sudden you see the score on the bottom that says Calgary, Vancouver Some stupid, too bad hockey teams, too. Games that needed to be played. And, Yeah, you have another one tonight and I'm like, Is anybody gonna be watching that like if you're a Canucks fan, and you're thinking yourself while we got some great NHL playoff hockey tonight, But, hey, let's go to that Canucks game The last game of the year. Our team sucks. We're not in the playoffs. Let's watch that. Let's watch too bad hockey teams play. I wouldn't want to be at that came out rather watched some Stanley Cup playoff hockey on television than spend my hard earned money and go to that game. But hey, Sometimes Katie ins are weird, so I don't know, man. I don't know. Now I'm gonna offend all of our Canadian listeners. I don't know It's weird. I don't understand it. But by the way, the official Vegas take fade handicapper, obviously, Chris well, he's gonna be very angry. You're bringing that He has the Minnesota Wild tonight. Does he really? He does. He does? Yeah. I don't agree with that. I don't think Minnesota wins tonight. But, you know, maybe he'll prove us wrong. Hey, he did have Minnesota to win Game one. So let's give him some credit there. He did bet Minnesota and and and I went to the game one and I was telling everybody Hey, see winds cut Minnesota. See, wins Got Minnesota So and everyone was high fiving me in saying all of the nights got us, So you made them so Chris would actually Made the books a lot of money. I actually I actually have people that listen to our show members of the media that tap me on the shoulder. Like Willie Ramirez from the A P. He's been on the show before taps me on the shoulder, and he says Was the fate handicapper got tonight. Are you serious? Yeah. He tapped me on the shoulder and he said that I have guys like I'll go up to Brian Salman or Ron Futrell. And I'll say Hey, See, wins Got this tonight and then they're like, Oh, we're good the night we're gonna win. But you know, it didn't happen. It didn't have that. I think this line should be minus 1, 85 or minus 1 90 the fact that stations and I don't give some just some kind of a handicapping secret here, But this is Las Vegas, Nevada and stations. Casino has a lot of locals. West Gate has a lot of sharp handicapper Sharp betters the line of this game at West Gate and stations. Casinos is the exact same. And to me. That's news because I know for a fact that those books those red rock books, those station books, they are getting inundated right now, with knights bets, and the line is not mosaics. That may bode well for Chris went all right, so we're gonna take a quick break, and when we come back, it's our time of the show, where we like to promote some local businesses. And this is no exception meant mobile detail Ng We always need some detail Ng On John Martin. The owner is gonna be joining us next. Take a quick break me back in 60 seconds. You're listening to the Vegas take.

"Vegas take how's it going, everybody Thanks for joining us on a Monday. Actually, not too cold outside. I was able to leave my apartment today in short sleeve weather. Maybe that's why I get colds all the time. I don't know, but the weather's pretty good out there. Actually, I was able to play golf over the weekend for the first time since contracting Cove it and Feeling good. It was nice to be outside again Played a little golf and fun weekend saw this great new Denzel Washington movie. It's called the little Things. Went to the movie theaters did something normal for once, So that was cool. Jared Leto, by the way, plays a Really freaky serial killer. At least we think he was a serial killer in the movie. I don't want to give it away or anything, but I highly recommend watching this movie. It's a very, very, very good movie. Fantastic acting in this movie if you like the movie seven With Brad Pitt. And Morgan Freeman. You'll like this movie the little thing, so definitely check it out. Oh, by the way, have some really, really good news this week. If you were wondering what our Super Bowl coverage was going to be, like, Well, guess what. We have eyes and ears in Tampa all week long. Let me explain Guy by the name of Mike Dempsey, who's part of the NFL alumni member. The Carolinas chapter. Also, he's also happens to be a September 11th, World Trade Center attack Survivor and Mandalay Bay shooting survivor. Friend of mine, and he's been on the show before he's gonna be on radio row all week. He's also playing a big part in the Johnny Damon Celebrity golf tournament, which is gonna have that's out there in Tampa Bay. Gonna have Ken Griffey junior golfer John Daly. We're going to get some of these guys on the show this week. It's gonna be awesome. So Tomorrow on the show, Mike Dempsey's gonna be joining us again. He's gonna be our eyes and ears from Tampa Bay for the Super Bowl and tomorrow on the show. We're also gonna have a 10 year. Tampa Bay Buccaneer Former NFL center Randy Grimes will be joining us on the show as well from Tampa Bay. I know he's really excited his former team in the Super Bowl, so he's gonna be joining us tomorrow as well, giving us his take on Uh, what will be Orly should be a fantastic Super Bowl Sunday, So Randy grabs will be joining us tomorrow. We're gonna be getting, you know, guys like former PGA Player who I've always wanted to interview John Daley. He's going to join us this week. We're planning on getting Ken Griffey Jr on the show. All these guys they're in Tampa Bay. Playing in Johnny Damon's David Walls to is gonna be joining us All these guys were playing in Johnny Damon's Celebrity golf tournament, and we have our eyes and ears on the ground in Tampa Bay from Patrick Dempsey, and also that I say Patrick Dempsey, the actor. That's not who I meant. All the women go crazy for Patrick Dempsey. That's not who I was talking about. I like Patrick Dempsey, though. What was the show He was in. I'm drawing a blank here. The doctor, you're talking about Gray's anatomy raising Ademi. Yeah, everyone falls. I wish I had Patrick Dempsey's looks. Hey goes by making dreamy, dreamy, dreamy. I like Patrick Dempsey. I like him. But now Patrick Dempsey, I would love to have Patrick Dempsey on the show, but he's not gonna be joining us for. It's gonna be Mike Dempsey. A ZAY mentioned NFL alumni gonna be joining us on the show tomorrow. So that will be a lot of fun. I look forward to that. We have a lot of stuff to get to today. Ah, lot to look forward to Brian Salman from Channel three will be joining us and talk a little night's hockey with him. Also the silver Nights. The HL team over the weekend had a pre season game and after the second period, they had to cancel the game. Mid game because of Cove it I'm just wondering how that happens. It reminds me a little bit of the World Series. Remember that whole Dodgers situation with Turner and they, you know they didn't cancel the World Series game, but it remind me of that a little bit. So we're trying to get somebody from the silver nights to come on. It's very difficult because they're very busy their NHL team and and I understand they have a lot of media requests, so they haven't gotten back to me yet. But that's okay. Speaking of silver silver, the commodity is at its highest price in the last 12 years in a sky rocketed. The last day. Thank you for the absolutely, of course. Thank you for that factual antidote to appreciate that, Um All right. So, uh, HL. We'll talk about that. A little later in the show. My man Jamieson Wells, N B. A expert, uh, college basketball expert as well. Uh, you want to talk about a vomit of a basketball game that UNLV laying an egg last night? Remember, TJ obsolete Burger is the highest paid coach in the Mountain West conference. Oh, yeah, he faced a pretty good coach yesterday. Yeah, He's a pretty good coach. His name is Steve Alford. If you haven't heard of him, I don't care that you would. All these best player wasn't playing. I don't care. They have more talent out there on the court. The Nevada Nevada gave them a spanking. And I wonder if I talked to Larry Johnson or Greg Anthony or some of the other rebel grades how they would feel about you and I'll be on the road in a rival game, losing by close toe 30 points. You a bad event? Yeah, That's right. Nevada is 142nd in the country. They're a bad basketball team. They're not. They're not as good as they were the last two years of their terrible the 1 42. I wouldn't say that. They're bad. They're like 11 and seven there in the Mountain West Conference. I get it. They're awful. I just I wouldn't call them bad. They're about 142 in the country. You're told you're totally right about Brian Sandwich and write the replayed the last game. I think he had two points. I want one of 12 shooting. What I'm saying is, they should have expected that they didn't play with passion. They didn't play hard expected Bryce and with him not to be there anyway, and he was basically not there the last game and they played significantly better against Utah State Bank. Okay, But here's the deal, okay? Even TJ Osterberg and I want to get we're gonna get more into you. It'll be later in the show, but Even TJ outs were committed. They didn't play with passion. They didn't play hard. Unacceptable. Well, who does that fall on your the highest paid coach in the conference. I get it. Your kids didn't play hard. Isn't that your job and listen, I like heat, I think teaches a nice guy. I love Kevin Kruger, Lon Kruger, son. Great guy. Good assistant coach. The coaching staff is not doing the job. It is an embarrassment, and by the way, even guys that I'm not going to say I attacked even certain members of the media. Who by the way, I think Ray Brewer is a super nice guy, Okay? Even he is blasting you and help me today. He's the biggest, you know, V apologist, probably in Lost bag. He went on social media. He's blasting you. It'll be today even to step. Maybe I got Ray Brewer to come around. I don't know. May have. There is nobody that is defending that performance last night. Speaking of college basketball, No Todd Simon. Friend of yours. Friend of the show. Michigan State has gotten beat by 20 points the last two games. They've gotten blast. I think I think there's a chance that Tom Izzo leaves his job this year, and Todd Simon guitar, his next coach of Michigan Shit, Michigan. I'm not going to criticize the guy who's won national championships Hall of Fame coach and he's been on our show. I'm criticizing a guy aside, I'm criticizing a guy here at you, and I'll be who's the highest paid coach in the Mountain West Conference and is getting just got thumped by their rival. That's anyway, We're gonna talk. We.

"Religiously. I mean, aren't you insane? At this point, if you don't follow everything that this guy has done the last eight years of his career Man, I think that you definitely have to look into it. But you know a lot of this stuff. One thing's for sure that it involves is he has to be fortunate People like I don't like to use the word lucky because you know luck is just really when you prepare and things come together, in my opinion, But he has to be fortunate. In fact, he never got hurt. Like he only got rolled up on his knee one time, right? I mean, it's not like he runs around enough in order to get hurt, so You know, that wasn't necessarily going to happen. But he must have some great genes, man, because, yes, 43 years old doing what he's doing, Uh, you know, I you have to commit them and you Q. Can't help corn. You can't break it now, of course, And also after he got hurt, they literally changed the rule form The Brady rule. The NFL created a rule forms that helped him so. So if you're just joining us to speak about the lead anchor Channel three sports. It's Brian Salman. All right, Brian, let's talk about the second game. Now. First of all, while Pat Mahomes wasn't 100%, he was still certainly I would say 90%, maybe. And he was fantastic. Some of the froze he had throwing away from his body on the run. He was able to get away from a lot of these guys on Buffalo. Very impressive performance by him. You're giving him two weeks now two weeks for Andy Reid and that offense and defense to prepare for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As far as the game goes, I think buffalo had. Obviously Buffalo had a fantastic year. That team is gonna be now good for a very long time with their quarterback and their young talent. I just think they were a little What's the word I'm looking for? They weren't ready for that overblown and not may be ready. For that moment. Kansas City has been there. Pat Mahomes is the best quarterback in the world right now, and I just think that Buffalo was in a little bit over their head and I like Josh Alan, he's had a fantastic year, M V P candidate and that defense has been fantastic, but nobody can stop the chief's Nobody. Yeah. No, I agree. I mean, you know there are over the head going into this game. If they would have won, it would have been one of the biggest upsets ever. Um, just like and I told you last week the There was no way in the world that Pat Mahomes is not going to play in this game, right? I mean, it was It was good that you don't try to make a little bit of intrigue to sell. The game is what the NFL would have done with it. I mean, they never just if you could walk and talk, he was gonna play, so if they would have beat him, it'll be a huge upset. So Yeah, they they weren't supposed to win. They gave a valiant effort. They started off pretty well, Tom Holmes said, you know, OK, and that's what all this is just a little playtime. Go and get this thing over with. Put up 21 straight points on it. It was a rap from there, so I mean, honestly, be great. It's gonna be amazing. Who can Who can guard Tyree kill? I don't think there's I'm sorry. The guy he's 5 10 1 85 he probably he might run a four to flat. I mean, he is so fast. He's quick. He's got great hands. He jumps well. Mean, runs great routes. Honestly, I think that Tyree kill at this point is one of those he has literally like. You cannot stop him. And then having Travis I mean, like the bugs have some pretty quick corners, but I don't see Anybody in NFL that that can guard Tyra Kill and think about the chief says Mahomes is 25. Terry kills 26 The Cole Harmon's 24 or 23, Travis. Kelsey is like 31 like these guys. They're gonna be really, really good. And they don't even have Sandy walking. Seems a top 15 wide receiver. They're gonna be really good for the next Probably 10 years. I mean, this team is we're looking at an actual dynasty. In my opinion, you agree with that? Yo, Absolutely. How about this? The Kansas City Chiefs right now are the golden State warriors at the very beginning of bare rock. I agree. I mean that literally what they are because I mean, you look at you can't you cannot stop them. You cannot stop him. Okay? You're gonna double Tyreke, which that's the only way that you can throw him down. Half the double right if you double him, Kelsey, Okay. You know, I'm best time in the game to go ahead and get my yards off real quick. You know what I mean? You can't double both of them. I agree with you. So now it's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's all set up the Super Bowl in a few weeks, and I don't think if you're the NFL, you could have asked for a better scenario. You have the history of the NFL The last 20 years with the best quarterback in football with the future of the NFL and the best quarterback in the world right now, which is Pat Mahomes. It's an unbelievable matchup. If you asked me at the beginning of the year, What would I want to see? It probably would have been Tom Brady versus Pat Mahomes. I mean, I don't think you could ask for anything more than that, right, Brian. I mean, this is an advertisement. Dream three right now. The NFL as soon as a soon as Pat Mahomes, one assumes Brady once they knew Pat Mahomes and we're gonna win it, So there's a one you know that Goodell and the rest of the NFL teams and advertising we just Oh, my God, This is It'll probably be the highest rate of some forever. Kelly will be absolutely yeah, By far they're they're going bananas networking going. I'm sad. I know it's not on our network..

But if like in Texas right now, there are people there are armed protesters in Texas. Brought be protesting and being armed is not illegal, and it happened plenty of times with BLM and anti for this summer, and they can't be that double standard. Either. Pro testing is legal for everybody, or it's illegal for everybody. Well, the approach even either protesting with with guns is legal for everybody, or it's illegal for everybody. Okay? I want to get too smart phone calls. First of all I want is protesting for a worthy cause, and the other one is actually the one and the one is not united in letting you finish my constitution. "Is Tuesday. Our number three. Coming up in the bottom of the hour. Talk a little sports with my good friend and the very talented sports anchor at Channel three. Brian Salman, We gotta UNLV game. What a weird time. 2 P.m.. Right? I'll talk about that game talk a little bit about the national college football game last night, which I picked correctly pat on the back and the NFL Games moving forward, But first You know, we talked a lot about cancel culture on the show. By the way, I know there's people waiting on hold. We get to those calls here in just a few minutes. Sit tight number 2575396 24 former GOP lawmakers, By the way, I've put country over party and they've said that they're willing to impeach the president of the United States. I want to dive a little deeper into that a little bit later, but You talk a lot about cancel culture on this show and I think at times it's warranted. At times. It's not. But there are a lot of businesses that are canceling Donald Trump. Let me explain. Stripe is a private company. They help businesses process payments online. They announced it would stop props, processing payments for the president's campaign. Marry it and Blue Cross Blue Shield or just a few more of the companies. That are halting donations to GOP lawmakers who objected to certifying Joe Biden as president shop. If I guess it's a Canadian e commerce company, they took down stores that sold Trump merchandise online. The PGA Tour. We talked a little bit about this yesterday and One of golf's four major championships is the PGA Championship. They had scheduled the president's Trump New Jersey, golf course in 2000 and 22. Not anymore, the CEO of the PGA, said in an interview that are feeling was given the tragic events of Wednesday that we could no longer hold it. Bedminster Golf Club, which is owned by Donald Trump. I'll give you a few more as I mentioned Marriott Blue Cross Dow Chemical, They're suspending all car corporate and employees Political action committee contributions to any member of Congress who voted to object to the certification of the presidential election. Hallmark is also on board, including American Express Commerce Bank. Uh, Goldman Sachs, which surprises me, a lot of reportedly halted all political donations for the time being. That's according to Bloomberg Bank of America, and throughout Monday, company after company From Black Rock. Do. The Vanguard Group to Smithfield Foods announced a similar measure of suspending all federal campaign donation three big tech companies as we've talked about a little bit earlier in the show, Of course, I'm talking about Facebook, Microsoft and Alphabet forward also announced that the company's political action committee would temporarily suspend donations to consider quote the need for broader, ongoing discussion about other relevant considerations when it comes to our employees pack So there's a lot of people that are on board with this. So my question to the listeners out there. Agree or disagree Number to call 7022575396. Your question might be Brian. What do you think about this? Oh, I'm so glad you asked. Obviously, these are private companies, and they can. It's not against the law. They could do whatever they want to, Um I already gave you my opinions on social media, Facebook and Twitter. I think it's a business decision with some of these people now whether you agree with it or not, that's that's your opinion, and that's fine. But I personally believe that the CEOs of these of this company think that thought if that if they were, what they're doing would cost the company a lot of money. They wouldn't do it. They wouldn't do it. They wouldn't They wouldn't. They wouldn't cancel Donald Trump or certain members of the Republican Party, right? You don't understand that the elites, the ones that make these decisions. They're told that they live in New York. They live in California. They they talk to each other. They're totally out of touch with reality. They don't know what the people want. They have absolutely Are you talking about Donald Trump Abs and I'm not talking about you know, I thought he was an elitist that was out of touch. Trump. Donald Trump is not only is to try to touch he's not at a time. You know, there's not only the heads of these companies are elitist were out of touch. Right now, okay? And and for whatever reason, they're making these crazy decisions, And you say it's a private business Well by that logic than every single business that was ordered to shut down the last nine months because they're private business, they could open up to that, because that that that's their decision, right? That's that's completely does not run. This analogy is not tell you what it is not a horrendously. So let me let me explain what private businesses can do what they want to do, even if even if it involves Subverting the Constitution. Okay, so wrong. Why can't private businesses stay open during a pandemic question. Please tell me that's a matter. That's a question. I just want to answer your question. It's a fair question, and I will give you a non ist answer. First of all, when it comes to a global pandemic and the health Of public people. It is a completely different situation than saying You don't want to. You have business to a certain group of people. That is a completely different scenario. And you're you are justifying it based on the reason just like with Bill and BLM has this this rationale for these armed protest, But if Trump does it, it's not a good enough reason. Because in your opinion, the elections we have to deal with this because that you said the same thing about about Trump about Trump having his protest. You're saying that the reasoning is that was just for millions and millions of people. They're not armed that go to be Elim protest, So I have no idea what you're talking about. Have majority of them are not what happened over this summer, Brian, we're too Million dollars in damage was done. Where does that happen with one of the officers died or 2000? More were injured. What do you do? Our businesses were destroying all of us. Feel like that was justified for you. What do you coming about? Another idiotic, stupid statement by you. Are you talking while I'm talking? Because you're saying what he accused me of interrupting You. Okay, when you interrupt me, Okay. What do you project what you do on to me? Because you just said I condone violence, And that's the dumbest thing. I didn't say you condone miles. Really? You don't know You said it was okay. I did not $2 million worth of damage, she said. I was Billion dollars. Okay, I'm okay with that. I said you justified justified. What happened? Never, never you. Did you say things that you put in that our lives? It was It was for a wrong wrong was for wrong. Okay? He said, by the way, Brian, by the way, would you please stop interrupting me? You say things that I completely stupid. I never said that the same thing to me. But what? I don't know what to say. But what did I say? That was factually inaccurate. You said that I all I do is spread false information. You just just They're sort of multiple occasions that I don't I don't have to spell the word fact truth for Patriots. That's a perfect example. Right there. He bright know you could do whatever you want. And you think, cause I'm your subordinate. You think I'm just bored? You treat me like a call on a consistent basis that I can't do What I want collars, my Carla mistaking. Okay, So first of all my collar, My collar is tune in at 9 A.m.. You're not by the.

"I got about a minute. Formacion Nations Next on the Vegas Take nation. What's going on? I am. Yes, ma'am. What's on your mind? First up. Great for being anti time I love it, but I was calling actually to check on you. How are you doing after being at the hospital? Well, while I appreciate that, that's very nice of you to ask, doing better still got some heart issues and still seeing doctors and still get out of breath when I go up a flight of stairs and you know, I still have a lot of PTSD, too. From what I saw in the hospital and What may show I'm doing better. And if I didn't feel like I could do this radio show, I certainly wouldn't do it and it definitely helps me get my mind off things a little bit, but I appreciate I appreciate you asking that and I will continue. Thank you very much, and I appreciate all of you that have been concerned about me with my health and everything. It's it's a fight, man. And that's why I just asked people Please where your mass, please social distance and some people want to call me liberals for saying that those people are what I would call morons. I just want people to be safe. I don't want innocents, people to die even morons. I don't want them to die. I don't want people to have to go through what I went through. I don't want people have to wake up one day without a loved one. That's all. I personally don't think that's asking too much. "Back. It is the Vegas take sharpened Shapiro. We were just previewing UNLV basketball talking a little UNLV football. Speaking of football, what the hell has happened to the Raiders the last three weeks? You know, I remember that that game a month ago at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, and Derek Carr was fantastic. They almost beat the Chiefs twice this year, and then it seemed like the following several weeks. They've just fallen apart defensively. Listen, I know they've had some injuries. But given up 44 points yesterday, and then they have to fire defensive coordinator Paul Gunther. As I said after giving up 44 points to the Colts joining us right now on the line. Is Channel three's very own lead. Sports anchor Brian Salman. Joining us right now on the line is he will every Monday at 11 30 which were very happy to say, Brian. Thanks so much for joining us. How are you? I'm I am blessed to be able to come on your program every Monday at 11 30, my man. How you guys doing? Get the checks in the mail checks checks in the mail. Brian, So obviously you were at the game yesterday. I picked the Colts to win, but I certainly didn't think it was gonna be a blowout. I certainly didn't think the Raiders were gonna give up 44 points, but I said it on the air on Friday. I said Raiders have an issue stopping any legitimate quarterback. Heck, they had issues stopping the Jets, so I gotta ask you. What was your first reaction When you heard they fired their defensive coordinator. My first reaction was wow. Wow. They have put it there. Seven and six. That's 13 3 games left. Yeah. Three games left, and they fired the defense important, like to me the time you was like, goodness gracious. Jon Gruden said this post game press conference. That assumes I get done. I'm gonna start looking at options as far as like how to make the team better. And he surely did. He would have been true to his word assumes you got, though this press conference he fired the defensive coordinator. I was shot. Look, it's something I understand. Yeah. I mean, the defense has been future, but I still shot so I so so let's take it both scenarios. I agree with you. You make a valid point, Brian that this team is still above 500. There's still a good football team. But on the other side of things like you, I understand it. You just gave up 44 points to the Colts culture, a good football team. But 44 points is ridiculous. Then you also look at their performance against the Jets, which is atrocious. They were lucky. Lucky is not even the key word to describe them getting out of there with a win. And then you look at the week before the defense has been atrocious. I don't think you can blame the offense per se. Now. I know yesterday they had red zone opportunities and They had to settle for field goals, and that hurt them, and I really thought the changing of the guard was Derek Carr throwing an interception in the end zone That really could have got them close, and it really could have changed the perplexity of the game. But then you look it later on in the second half. They just couldn't get any stops. They couldn't stop these guys on third down, and I understand Philip Rivers is a very good accomplished veteran quarterback. With that being, said, Brian, What is going on with this Raiders defense man? First of all I have to say perplexity. That's a $5 words. Ryan. I mean, I have to say that right off the words remembers playing well. However, the Raiders got gassed on the ground. They gave up 212 yards. Wasn't Taylor Johnson Taylor look like the reincarnation of Marshall Faulk. Somebody really, I mean, it was certainly they gave up. All that rushing yardage, and they also gave up over 200 yards rushing to the Jets the week prior to that, and you talk about as far as like the last four weeks, I've been doing my crack stats that 37 a half points a game is what they have averaged over the last four weeks. That's ugly. That's crazy. That's crazy. So I mean, really their defense is then. Terrible, just terrible, so not necessarily quarterback but their ground game and and really, truly Your task. Defense hasn't been great either. It's been terrible on that side of the ball. It wasn't the office do they could do I mean these 4 24 points right, which isn't terrible, and it could've been a lot more could have been a lot more zits concerning because Malia Collins, who is the worst defensive tackle in all of football, he was actually on the I R. So he didn't get to play. He didn't even get to be terrible, So the rest of the D line was what was terrible. And then we talked about this last week. We said that if if Cleveland Farrell And Max Crosby cannot apply legitimate pressure toe. Philip Rivers, the Raiders gonna get run over in this game, And that is precisely what happened because they've got Taylor. They've got knee him. Heinz. They've got three or four titans that catch the ball. The T. Y. Hilton had a great game and Trayvon molding. He's had a big year in comparison, the last guy that he's made some serious serious improvements, but the Raiders had no chance in this game, Brian Now you're after me, right? I mean, they literally made everybody in the office this side of the ball for the Indianapolis Colts look like the best players that have ever played for that franchise. You know, I mean, Philip Rivers look like Peyton Manning. Key white Houghton looked like Marvin Harrison. You know what I'm saying?.

"Of those situations? If you resist arrest? How do you think that goes down? Like I think this is the thing, though. Is that growing up? My father told me you know you have a talk where this is what you do. If you get pulled over. I wouldn't have told your conversations when he's been pulled over and almost has, you know? And then drawn on him, sir, I know better than to move fast and put my hand over here. This is something that rings in my head to this day this day for my father's always told me it's like I'm so them. I'll give them an opportunity. Exactly. Thank you Active and I'm so glad that you brought that up And I'm so glad your father had that conversation with you with all that's going on the world right now and in no way, shape or form of my only blamed blaming these people who have been shot and sadly, some of them killed like the Briana tailors of the world. But with that being said I think we're speaking in obvious terms here. If you comply with police, you certainly have a better chance of getting out of there unscathed. It's not 100% guarantee, but I think in a lot of these national, you know cases Ah, that make national news. Usually, yes. Is it bad policing? Absolutely. But I think in some of these instances, it's also people not complying. Would you agree with that? Yes, this is this is probably where you and I differ. Just a tad bit is the fact that one compliance or noncompliant is not a definite You are my great agree There's different types of compliance. Ifyou're going towards an officer with a gun or a knife that they deserve to be shot, if you just if you're just scuffling, right, ifyou're scuffling with police while we don't condone that you don't either. If you're not a death threat to the police officer need no way shape or form by saying You deserve to be shot. Don't get me wrong. I don't I don't think we disagree on that at all. There are different forms of noncompliance right if you're running away from it. Yar was me. Me being me having an attitude and cursing at someone or are telling that officer that Hey, you know, I do have civil rights. Maybe I do have some rights. You can't just do anything that you want to me. And I suppose you agree with it. And if and if I have a problem with that that does not mean that. Oh, I'm so I'm in non compliance and and I should be shot. You can agree. Listen, my life being driving great. I don't disagree. I don't disagree with you at all. Brian and listen. Let's be honest here. The police are supposed to be trained professionals that are supposed to de escalate the situation. I agree with you. What I try to do because, like I said, I think you could be pro police and be pro black lives matter Movement, which I am, by the way I support the black lives matter. Movement doesn't mean I support the rioters in the protesters, but I think the majority of the people throughout the country the millions of people that have protests are good people, and they care about this cause. I really truly believe that it's sad that some people don't but with that being said, Yeah, I think, uh, I think it's very important you know to comply, But I also understand where you're coming from. It doesn't mean that it should be a death sentence. I want more. Move on now to maybe a little bit more of the sports aspect of this not necessarily local, but a national scale again. If you're just joining us to speak of the Brian Salman sports anchor from NBC, three. What do you make of the NBA's demands? I thought they were very reasonable demands. Maybe we can talk a little bit about that. One of those demands happens to be opening up some of those arenas, eh, so that people will be allowed to vote raising awareness. I mean, I thought the demands were very reasonable. What did you make of the NBA's demands? You want to me? I think it was. It was great. Um, I don't see how any American could be unhappy with demands that the maid Wow. They actually want to Uh, get American citizens. Be aware to use their constitutional right to vote that that that's great..
