"You could tell me what to that could have been hacked or whatever but it's a counting machine so you just reconcile There's a pile right there. How many college a thousand now. Let's see who therefore there's been. No discrepancy reported anywhere. We're back with more tonight from jonathan. Karl exclusive interview with former attorney. General bill barr. Jonathan remains with us. So you also spoke to bar about how and this is going to be the favourite part for many in sad rear view mirror of history. Mcconnell urged him to speak out as if mcconnell himself forgot that was also an option for him during all four years of our constitution getting sidetracked during the trump administration. What else did you learn on. That front will particularly in the period after the election because by all accounts and i had been told this. I'm sure bryan. You had been hearing the same thing you know. Mcconnell didn't buy into any of these allegations of fraud that the donald trump was raising but publicly. He was saying nothing. Nothing except a to go out into say that donald trump had the right to pursue all legal challenges. And let them do it and you know and on and on he never criticized it. When trump went out when when. Brian rudy giuliani. Had the press conference at the rmc and talked about how voting machines were being hacked by the venezuelans. Some scheme a possibly hatched by chavis a who had been dead for years. So now what would. I was astounded to find out. Is that while. Mcconnell was saying nothing publicly he was calling bill barr and he was asking. Bill barr will you come out. Will you shoot this stuff down. This is dangerous. it's bad for the country. It's bad for the republican party. And it's interfering with our plans to to run these two senate runoff elections in georgia. I can't come out and say something mcconnell. Saying because i need him. I need donald trump in georgia in other words. I can't donald trump upset with me and teed off in and messing with our our plans in georgia. But you can. Do you have the credibility to do it. You have the credibility with republicans you have the credibility with with the white house you come out and do it and ultimately bar did i. I wouldn't say it's the only reason by any stretch bar came out but it was definitely one of the factors. He was being repeatedly asked by mitch. Mcconnell to come out. And say something that mitch mcconnell at the time was unwilling to say you said in the previous segment. This in bars. View isn't about bill barr. I would counter that. There's a chance it's for his his grandchildren There's a chance that realizing the soil that got splashed onto the family name What he did to the family name by soiling the doj that maybe this is a construction project to help before he leaves this good earth. And i say the following affectionately as someone with drag marks to show it. I'm sure you're going to get dragged for playing a role in the bill barr reconstruction infrastructure project. Twenty twenty one. What say you on that front. Well of all i should say i said he was eighty one before. He's actually seventy one so i ate by by a decade but i i think this is very important to get him on the record about what was going on during this extraordinary period because for whatever you think about what. Bill barr did During the previous two years of his tenure as donald trump's attorney general whatever you think of that when it came down to it at the end he did come out in a very public and very forceful way contradict the president of the united states who had appointed him. I contradict him At a time when it really mattered and whether or not it's a it's a reconstruction project like i said i i don't know how much that ultimately matter to me. Matter to the bar family it may matter to those who go and look at the portrait's on the wall at the justice department a headquarters but what matters now is that we have a situation where at least a third of the country that the election was stolen. It believes outright lies that have been been said believes the allegations that have absolutely no evidence. And here's somebody who has some credibility with those people who looked into it was saying it's all bs and i think that's important i think that's important To to be said in it's important to to document the history of of what went down during this extra excruciatingly difficult awful period for our country. Giancarlo are fortunate enough to borrow. Don't tell anyone at. Abc news from time to time in his effort to add to the case section at the library. Is the author again a front row at the trump show and not to be outdone. His new book out in november is called b. trail. John thank you as always for hanging out with us and taking our questions coming up for us efforts to ensure voters rights are running right into growing revisionist history..

The business that I'm in there in the alcohol business it's almost it's completely contrary to what you would think about the people who are like less government, less regulation, less all those things like. The when it comes to wine and And you know that kind of thing in Arizona it's the calm. It's very California they're like they want to control everything you're doing they wanNA know every move you're making there's all these hoops you gotta jump through to get things done it's it's firestone what way just just an in the regulation of alcohol they interpret you know they're very Arizona in general. "Several northern Colorado healthcare executives have asked the well to county board of Commissioners To reconsider their safer at work guidelines in a letter sent to the commissioners this past Saturday bots not all of weld. County is following the Safer at work and guidelines this as the cities of Greeley and Evans are opting to follow. The governor's a safer at home policy. Both policies go into effect today. Eight seven thirteen ten. Kfi Thirteen ten KFI K. A. dot com gail fueled by Great Western Petroleum. Joined this morning by Weld County Commissioner Scott James Commissioner James. Welcome back. Thank you hope you all this morning and I hope you are well as well all right. Let's talk a little bit about this letter That came from several those healthcare executives in northern Colorado sent to the Weld County commissioners on Saturday. I received it in my email about Saturday right around five. Pm IF members correctly. I want to thank all of the signatories of that email The and their staffs or doing you know they're certainly on the frontline of of this covert nineteen pandemic and I want to express my appreciation to them. did receive it did read through it After I received read through it About five fifteen. I called Mitzi Moran and she and I had a good conversation lasted about an hour talked about their concerns talked about how perhaps as we continue to evolve our guidelines and not an order guidelines that have to do with our safer at work policies into something that I hope would be. Take on the shape of of safer as well as safer in weld policies I we had a very open and honest conversation and then I was ready to broadside. I do with the fact that apparently at the same time was released to us it was released to the media and so I wonder if the conversation wanted to be fruitful for the benefit of folks and well county if they if they simply was immediately. I gotTa Tell You. It was truly disappointed. You know it's interesting because we're all learning every day about cove at one thousand nine hundred and that's frustrating on on a multitude of levels. But I was thinking about the conversation that you and I had Just a last week This as those safer at work guidelines not an order and I thought you were splitting atoms there. I thought we were getting into semantics. But you're absolutely right. This is not an order Even Governor Jared Polis readily admits that His safer at home order indeed is not enforceable. But what I find fascinating is that I don't think the point should be lost in this conversation that the Board of Weld County commissioners have been in close communication with health officials throughout the pandemic including Dr Mark Wallace at the Weld Department of Public Health and Environment. Who signed off on these safer at work guidelines correct? Get Air Cynthia either. That you are correct and it's simply a again. It's a set of guy like if you choose that you want to open your business if you choose that. She wanted to commerce here the guidelines by which we would hope you apply in fact well county to county commissioners on Friday evening at about seven fifteen had a conference call with Governor Bowl and with the director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Joe Ryan Governor pulled US indeed indicated that he had reviewed our guidelines and said hey these are guidelines that were taken from the CDC from Eagle County which he has openly praised. They don't look all that much different from from safer at home and he was. He did while he didn't endorse them. He said Jesus is a lot like what we're doing here. He only said saver at home is more granular that I would agree but Again our guidelines. Were something that the governor took the cat and said you know this is a lot like say now is funding still at risk for Webb County. Because the governor had preferred to county what the safer work guidelines has been rather well rogue He did and I to my knowledge. That funding is is something that he could he could still Yank That is one of the concerns of the of the signatories of South Carolina and the fact that Cd with the Cova nineteen funding comes through the CPA. That's something that could be at risk if if businesses and well Canada Roque again we have not issued an order. I've been fascinated over the weekend with the amount of emails that I've received. The people have said Why did you open up businesses? We did not open it up business. We did not close down business. We simply offered guidelines by which people could exercise their liberty and personal responsibility if indeed. They wanted to open all right so Weld County Commission Chair. Mike Freimanis speaking to the Greeley trip. Trevor read saying basically. Nothing has changed in terms of the amount of cooperation and collaboration that has been ongoing between the Board of Weld County Commissioners and the Weld Department of Public Health and Environment. Again saying we are all working together on this. I would agree hundred percent absolutely. We continue to work together. Nothing has changed today versus where we were at yesterday in Weld County now. A big conversation that I did have with Ms Moran on on Saturday night was about Perception in about how folks like your listeners. And how the people of Weld County here these things and so again what? We want to communicate. Is there a set of best practices? They're published online. But it kind of remains the same the same that you've heard throughout this pandemic as you lead your lives and as you make decisions as a as a free person celebrating liberty in a free country as you live your live these. These are the things that we hope that you take into consideration. Well and it's interesting because You and I have had conversations and as I compare and contrast the guidelines once again very important to that the semantics are absolutely right on this discussion. When you compare the guidelines safer at home versus safer at work what you will find is you do agree in principle but not necessarily in practice and as I re down through The auspices of Governor Jared polices safer at home and the Board of Wealth County Commissioner. Safer at work. It seems still what it boils down to calibrate me on this Scott. If I'm wrong it seems basically what it boils down to is the difference of I Dunno five days to a week in terms of businesses Reopening and again. I understand. You can't reopen something. You didn't close but Businesses first of all having the discretion to make that decision on their own practicing every commonsense thing that we don't do exactly the principles remain the same. The principles are the same between safer at home and and and safer at work. It's the same thing it's just. We have arrived at different conclusions. At the end of the day. Governor Police will issue an order and use the force of government to make your comply at the end of the day in Weld County. We ask that you exercise personal responsibility and your liberty and make the decisions that are right for your family yourself. Your Business Still. A lot of confusion when it comes to bars and restaurants. What's the status of bars and restaurants in Weld County The status of bars and restaurants are kind of the same thing as as any other business. Do what is right under safer at home. I I believe the governor talks about curse. I pick up again. We go back to personal personal relationship. That business will develop with their consumer again. I talk as Scott James Citizen of Johnstown Scott James Individual. Will I be taking my family to a restaurant anytime soon? I know I won't. I will wait and see kind of how this thing of a thing evolves. But that's a decision that I make. Personally it's the same personal decision that I want everybody else but make including business owners right. All right. The city of Greeley City of Evans opting to follow the safer at home policy as opposed to these safer at work guidelines your thoughts. I have coury respect for John Gates for mayor Brian Rudy. They're good decent people I have always said the governor. The the government that is best as the government that is closest to home sees mayors believed that that is what is right for their municipalities. And when you look at the data that's available to help out or guy do not disagree with their decision. In fact I believe it to be wise. Wanted to ask you for. I let you go now. You talk a little bit about the conversation that you along with the other. Commissioners had with a Governor. Jared police on Friday. Tell us a little bit more about these County Health Department zones It it basically along the lines of the county commissioner district which means nothing other than being political subdivisions. I am the commissioner from district to which is South West Weld Commissioner Kirk Meyer From District Three Southeast Weld Commissioner Freeman from from North Weld County. Which is a district one. They essentially take the outlines of the county commissioner districts and they pull Greeley Evans and Garden City out of those and make that its own district bills to the four districts that Weld County Well County Department of Public Health View. The county in Governor Police and Director Ryan. We're open-minded taking a look at at Well County based on on on a geographic district kind of an entrance interest. Rather when you take a look at where are cases are their most definitively Ingredient Evans I think North of eleven hundred cases as of last evening folks are getting can use it. View that data at wealthed dot org in in district two in in in my district. There's ninety eight and and so the district or the the comparison is is is is rather eye-opening and I believe that that is also a wise way to to look at Weld County as we move forward is a matter of of where are the top places so to speak and that's why I completely respect The mayor's decision to to follow safer at home guidelines. My understanding is it was the hope Those healthcare professionals the executives at a number of hospitals medical providers throughout northern Colorado sending. You that letter on one. I'm talking you. I'm talking to universal you talking about the Board of Weld County Commissioners. That was their hope that you might reconsider. Your stance argue. I'm certainly open to having a conversation but believer sense will be reconsidered. We have spoken all along about how we would put onto We would put out guidelines that are more granular. That's still an opportunity again. I respect these healthcare providers and they sent me personally on email of of suggestions. I believe. They're valid suggestions and I want to discuss those today. With with the with the bulk of the board of county commissioners hopefully without the influence of the media Yup and our county commissioners Scott James. Thank you so much for your time as always do appreciate it especially now thank you. Gail have a great day. You as well be well. Eight nineteen thirteen.

"Have been doing it locally for quite some time. All right Joining me now up on the hotline is one mayor John Gates Mayor. Thank you so much for taking some time this morning. Good morning good to be with us. We are excited to be talking with you and and you know it seems like in the midst of some of the negative news about the death rates and everything along. Those lines is some positivity starting to leak through mayor and that's really exciting. Yeah it is ten or I think so I agree with you. I think everybody myself included. Thanks just to hear what the governor has to say as we close in on that August or April I wish it was twenty six the state home date so You know I don't know don't know for sure what's going to happen whether he's going to extend that. I do think from things. I've heard the governor's level. He agrees with most of us that we have to slow. We start to open things up and I'm certainly anxious to do that but I also xtrasports forced to do it safely. Couldn't have said it any better. And that's kind of where I've been reading between the lines. And some of these press conferences where he is now a bidding us on how we need to be protecting the elder community and and how the restaurants will be operating with mask and making that in order an executive order. I think things are starting to point in that direction. And that's very exciting news to hopefully we'll be up and going before too long mayor. One of the things that we were talking about was these local businesses. And how some of this federal financial aid has been distributed in ways. That were not exactly how we were expected. So a lot of local governments are taking it into their own hands to ensure the safety and stability of their local businesses. No QUESTION TANNER. I to read up with interest in dismay some of the large chains I noticed Ruth's Chris. Steak House happened Bruce Chris but they got a boatload of money from the government. And my guess is that our local businesses needed that money substantially more than made that so one of the things. The council did They all share my belief that I've had from the very beginning that Are Small businesses. Need us and we need them and they're in a really tough time those that aren't doing takeout or a worse time but even those doing takeout say it's sort of a band-aid they're doing just a fraction of the business. They were doing so city council last Tuesday night. Committed two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in relief to our small businesses via five thousand dollar grants working collaboratively with the Chamber of Commerce City. Bevins IS GONNA vote. Just throw in some cash tomorrow night. The mayor of Evans. Brian Rudy indicates to me that he s council support on that so When we voted on that I found myself really proud and I think my Our City Council did too that we're going to be able to to Give some money to our businesses to Hopefully our we're trying to do right. Now is get them to the recovery point because when recovery starts. I know our community will boom. But we've got to get them to that point and keep them Going so that they can re open for business. Mayor John Joining us this morning here on. Noko now and and and that's absolutely right some of the restaurants that I've even spoken to that Started doing the takeout said that They're down ninety percent of what they were doing. So it's tough times for everybody out there. mayor what do you see the plan looking like hearing really do we see that we will have orders put in place by you guys by the local government or will we just fall in line with whatever the state issues well by and large And this is what we've dealt with. A kind of census started week five. I think is a lot of people really aren't certain what authority that Local government has you know we feel like we have a bunch but really we are kind of going to have to wait and see what the governor dictates. A lot of the things that city mayors or county commissioners might do differently or might be in sync with the governor. They simply don't have the authority to do. You know I had probably one hundred plus emails and phone calls asking me why I hadn't shutdown J B s and the fact of the matter is that I don't have that authorities mayor that falls to the Health Department into governor so we are going to have to take the way to the governor. There are some things that we may have some latitude over. And we're certainly looking at those pretty carefully but At this point where kind of waiting to hear. Word Governor Publicist with regard to rolling out a real point one of those local decisions. I know last time we spoke on that was controversial for some reason. Was the reopening. Some of these golf courses spoke with one of the great sponsors here Mark Larson. And and he he had been out there and he said that they're doing a great job social distancing and I just wanted to pass that on that Have received praise about at least having those golf courses open for some some social distancing relief out there are no question. I talked to mark. Tanner and and I I've spot-check golf courses Because I wanted to see what's going on and For those many of those that are upset about it. either weren't aware to listen to the parameters that we put in place That made those golf courses quite a bit safer. I would guess what the weather Woman back up. We'LL GET SOME FOLKS. Jor Golf Courses. But from everything I've seen and heard from our parks personnel They are They're golfing safely. And they're not swarming out because the time not teatime schedule that we put him on doesn't allow them to swim out so I feel good that we did that from a standpoint of getting Some the ability to recreate And think it's working really well although there's certainly still are some people that are upset about that and I completely respect their decisions. Yeah talking with the mayor. John Gates here on this Monday morning. Of course mayor the one of the big topics of discussion over the weekend was the protest at the State Capitol And and I know that that is people starting to get restless and just want to give you a little bit of a platform here to talk to the people because I know there are certainly people in northern Colorado in Greeley that are getting restless but What is your message to those people at this time? Where you have to strike a Balance Tanner and quarterly. I think is I have to remind myself sometimes that I'm the mayor and I have to send that message. That's best really I have had some feedback from some that. Feel like this whole concept of closedown wearing masks. Gloves violates civil liberties. I understand where they're coming from. I look at it more in terms of what's do what we have to do to get the star thing behind us and I've been staying in as much as possible. I'm working both Both of my jobs from home. Which by the way. That's a miserable experience. I have new respect for those that work from home. But right what I'd like to see us do is do our part to get this thing behind us and reopened safely for those that feel like they're civil liberties or are being violated. I I understand their thought process. I'm usually not one that writes offense and and I hope I'm not here either but also understand the scientists and professionals and the The Director Health Department. Who says we have to these things to keep us safe? So I personally. And what I've encouraged really to to do. And some social media posts that that made his Do your part even if it's uncomfortable. Let's get this behind us and go back to the way we used to do things and they'll probably up. We'll do our part. We'll get back sooner. But I I I respect and understand both sides. Both sides are quite vocal about it and talk with mayor. Gates here You I don't know if you're allowed to ride the fence but mayor I certainly am and and I will do that because it is i. I understand completely casting no stones on either side here but you mentioned the the staying and working from home Your wonderful wife Patti. She working from home to how is that. How is that going with with both of you guys? She is not working from home. She worked she is. She is at her bank Her theory is she has a core group of a bank employee. Of course the lobbies are all closed up and For the I don't know six or eight employ. She hasn't there. She feels like that as long as they have to be there She wants to be there too so She is not working from home. They were actually very busy with the K. check protection program the SBA loans and that costs money has dried up but But her bank did a substantial amount of business. Beal owns with that so they've been fairly busy. But I I'm not sure. Our personalities are conducive. Abbas both working and she would agree so I spend eight or ten hours a day on the computer. Doing so meetings. I'm on my third right now. Just took a little break so that I could chat with you so it's just I like to be out in the community Even doing my job is I'm out in the community. I'm a handshake or I guess. Those days are over but The lack of social environment is troubling to me that I realized that's what we have to do right now to get through this. Yeah well hopefully. The days of the handshake aren't over. There just suspended like everything else mayor John Gates. We appreciate so much your time. This morning and Hopefully we'll be talking soon and as we continue this process Morgan News. Hopefully on the way it's a pleasure ten by the way I've had occasion to tune into your show every so often I want you to know you're doing a great job and your show is a great addition to our great community. Thank you so much. That is mayor. John Gates appreciate his time this morning and really thankful for leaders like him. Like I've said we've we've been thrown a curb all that we didn't know was coming. We were sitting fastball and they threw us a curve ball. And we've we've done the best that we can I? I truly believe that. And like he mentioned he. It's tough because when you talk about the protesters and then he talked about the people who were saying need to stay inside. I look I agree with both sides. And it's it's a fine balance to walk and hopefully we can realize that and we can stay together as a community and and comeback even stronger and we will certainly here in northern Colorado. Well that'll about do it for US coming up next. We'll be the Dan Patrick. Show Brady whole is off on the whole show. Today he'll be back at it tomorrow but we'll have a best of from twelve to two and then the herd with Colin Coward. We've got super bowl replaced coming up tonight. We've had the The giants and the Patriots. And that's from the undefeated season for the New England patriots. One of the best teams of all time. But Hey little spoiler. That game doesn't go exactly their way for more news. Updates in anything else you need. You can visit thirteen.

"Being physicality all the stuff I think they just dominated and you know we've been really good defensively for last couple months you know and you know over a long period of time and tonight which if we just weren't we couldn't we never found a solution to stop them I do wanna look big picture and understand that we have been defending defending well lately but they were they were just too strong tonight made shots of screened us great job by the Utah Jazz we sit on the offensive side of the ball yeah you know good and you know good and and some not so good I think you know we're drawing a lot of new lineups of mail out there and and hill and that's in me look at him like you tough like the continuity they have it's it's just no continuity development guys been together for a long period of time it's it's it's you know we have a no we have a runway where we got a we got to start getting getting our guys together and and and put that together over over over months and hopefully years and that's how you become how you become really good so cut in the infant stages with this new team so of skin take sometime they are I I would say right now they're far ahead of us we go a long way to go to catch a team like that it's been awhile since we've seen Jared be that an effective on the glass where foul trouble wasn't an issue where is actually out there he's getting minutes and is in the game he's just struggling on the glass would have two words for you Brian Rudy go bear you know get this league that's what it is and that because of the guys he he he patrolled the pain he dominated the paint and you know that's ways is one of the best players in the league so that's a deal it's a great challenge for terra in not that he did a good job in Utah I thought he was much more aggressive tonight if if you don't me Rudy with aggressiveness and your your kind of thinking about it hesitated a little you know he he he's going to he's going to block out he's going to block your shot you know we we say the more aggressive player has the advantage of more aggressive team has the advantage that that was kinda Utah across the bar board tonight just just is gonna call what it is coach so we saw the line up of caravanserai and and carry out there together and I would you think about the way they play I'd love to know what the plus minus was with that group and and rough to top my had like I said there were some really good stuff and I could see them trying to civil who's bringing up this time who's so you know there's some there's there's gonna be some growing pains with the two so but there's also some some really good stuff they take you know who killed gives you tell a little little issue who guards who you got three ball handlers out there some will continue to look at third third seal all three of mine are top five of the best players on this team so we're gonna have to look at a more fine find a way for to to work that's it thank you Stefan to unisom stupid question see a guy that is net said coach Kinney acted seeing the jazz beat the nets one eighteen to one oh seven and basically he it felt it it's got dominated every which way it also knows that you have to play almost the perfect game when you're dealing with regal bear in the middle yeah I'm not a we talked about it a lot because we're so used to watching the nets up close and we understand the tendencies of players and when they start driving the back to the brim and you see see them just start thinking differently and it just may be how they shoot the ball or maybe if they shoot the ball and it's just kind of gets you think in a and it takes you out of your normal comfort zone when go bear is back there Chris he is really a special influence on the game and then when you combine that with the type of rebounding and an offense of attack around the basket that was incredibly impressive but it will take another break one eighteen one oh seven jazz beat the nets we'll check your comments on the twitterverse BK nets radio at B. "Stocks for dark because i own it they will buy if they're like it yeah if they want to eat it and they were by not buying it because rhody brian rudy tenets not buying any call my show 'em did you sell you know binary plummer show you know is is is a conscious effort ww corporate will make the hey we want marshall on board with the has it it it it really doesn't it did it all based on yeah boy you again more buying from public no did you sell cheap you know there are certain plans sutures audience will gravitate forgot yeah yeah you do so the thing about it to his is understanding where creatives on corporate could find that could find common ground where they both need one another because corporate needs creativity in hold is so enrolled in markets right 'em on even often personalities within creativity is all about their association of runs on i what i like to call right now and this is my my plead for corporate right now is to create you're fuzzy lifestyle brand on on really and truly invest in trinidad died in on to be in culture and see how basically you could you could market just have truly culture you said he culture audiovisual eat like for instance you know how he does what he does go buddy reverse up how much many ingredients that'd be actively because we like to use it because we know if we take this coconut milk from is brian wilson at the state's better because you you new airport dot good man you know what he puts in boston part is is how far out hunting it so we have a lot of culture just send you use of products reaction you make products a lifestyle and i think is a place where corporate could understand that senate give videographers on give access and give a you know dances on stuff ability to create you know promotion of things you know or even shows or whatever the case is audiovisual tv shows whatever you utilize any unincorporated any products entity lifestyle because it what that's all we actually let me be action you don't drink pungent on music you know up a vital part of us will incorporate decisions 'em goes i absolutely agree with what you're saying is advertising agencies right and it's all right there they are like middle middle mom in equal gamer lincoln creatives what britain oh boy hannity playoff very vital rule selling what i like about what you said do you think there's any marketing strategy you need some market research but when you have local entertainers on personalities like let's say you fake sample in a lot of your book is based on your positions in also just by being creative you're already 'em immediately do another market research feel self so i think yeah for sure 'em actual creates a lot that they could lend specially in on and you kind of analytics that we see with rudy in in his social media you kinda numbers you see that social media does do is watch how much it is spent on news at ten toes none of that stuff off for the beach right nearly ten thousand where you could give a creative something i look up autos and make something on one get one and i'm from which now pge's like his page or trouble trouble is this a law whoever right give them some of them for moto ebony cases you and i actually reach you could actually have analytics showing you that you're reaching tree million people you understand that you actually reach people actually seal you don't know you know it for sure and then people are selling they've given up on for sure people check every single page and you'd be you'd even if you are being seen you have no way of quantify of quantity even if it's not you know there's so many things if you're gonna feel so good job of mixing instead of just doing some exigent really being out there about social media is people is watch what they like and what do people like it actually is actual creativity the auction electricity like my boy nyquil shoot something everybody got gotta yeah we saw the movie the movie coming from and we just went and we just went and i'll see you just took hold on you're done yeah for sure you know the only thing is if we have fun anything is like we are we are we have so much the gives you will because creatives are very important place in society we teach people about themselves i was redone 'em rudy heidrick knowing any office one time about comedy you were saying how comedies but he is a way of of of like wait what was way undestanding themselves you know what i mean like oh no i think i have it right yeah well we could we could talk about that's in the meanwhile you know i've been saying for years no that stand up comedians are over generations philosophers you know because we stand up comedians on the ones that need to observe society on off of their commentary on society and then you need to do it not just put across the across no we that entity and then so people listen to it because they don't talk anybody why cnn girls insurance don't take them into a frame of mind where they know receptive to you i it is and that's why people who are sonoko coming on people stand up comics like anybody could do that job but then when you watch videos that i watch videos and i think i could do that you know 'cause i look like a kick thing but whenever i think about yeah extremely difficult to watch the lead those personalities i'm doing it yeah i independence so this is what is accurate near if they could see it comedy helps us liv with who we are tells the truth i have such livered who yeah yeah have says tell the truth on be real with who we honor you and as i saw rian everytime 'em dave chapelle some said something really important and they were like 'em do are you humiliated like every like like how do you deal humiliation and he's like every damn humiliated i have a wife i have a wife that's why every day i do humiliation and it's like it's like understanding that you you know you have to be able to accept be conscious that of false accepted it off off of it and then grow grow grow from it you know because you know everybody i think everybody gets a scientific good life that depressed i love these societies depressed because it's like we we realize everything we could realize so we figure we have all the information he could have you have everything everybody depressed because they no longer connecting with what life is about emotions feelings ups and downs in life you should organize fizzled yeah we all have story is unfolding on on being torn down we we we are inspired by stories about ford and if we know what am i think i think i'll tell you to just as a society only who even i mean there's there's i will statement information is so easily accessible know about question every single thing right on let me question every single thing no research and found so sometimes you know you might not have the correct on so you would think correct uncivil does not necessarily critical because somebody may may have said that they would review it and you would think not able yeah all right so on some of course weren't actually i i i honestly believe in living in a state where you know you don't necessarily know everything i prefer to lives like yeah you know yeah they are there a lot of people a lot of people would you perception i do understand me you will hold on on how it operates at times you kind of sit back on after self you know something how're you doing everything and already you already doing every single thing in university i like about will buy got tricked me so that's all khanna angling for another big on is that 'em so we have we have all this information yeah we have every question we could think of is being on so i mean so addicted information oh we expect every questions of having a big lawfully right but exhausting on on so means you're not you don't need anything you're not gonna get anything more from the question and answer yeah wouldn't be final score actors run that means our definition of finance right now no done philosophy eastern saturday will thinks that totally differently right so with okay this is what is he talking about most people think that if you follow that line of logic then he when he conclusion you could come to the only true on such a life is that yeah so why are you go in search of that i have no idea yes it is not about finding answers anymore just understanding where you are and it's on what do you could on accepting that you're not going to know yeah yeah you know i think the reason why like john myself i mean since since we met we cannot know yeah you know we have a we have account and the sun everything shut up on even though people may be searching for answers plenty time just switching francaise on on didn't even know i didn't even know themselves they don't even know what they want it on himself or they just i wasn't my young some years ago where you know i was a relaxing questions you don't question in order and we're not talking more everything you're digging up in australia jim numerology on dotson you're done talking to the gdp zombie on luminosity on this on on it all kind of thing you're innocent and i'm gonna notice on football game changing the level of all these other things what into another me like i'm not taking time to to really figure out myself yeah on for the past year or so i've i've i've been you know little so switch and you know chicken time especially to at least even if it's ten minutes or even five minutes also dish it means something for somebody to sean and just being bias of being still on not having so worry about what's going on in outside and i think a lot of people need some again so that kind of process focusing on on on on getting someone who you are as a person you know and really actually that that that will help you only lines of of confidence in yourself because nobody if you know your cells anybody could tell you anything exactly anybody know has hit a donor hit us around rather anybody whether so the ripple sort of worry for says a book or five rings is written by miyamoto musashi wednesday warrior legend right i'm alright ruining summer right right 'em i'll give you a little backstory so that means you if you understand some some it's super cool yeah well basically i think what i was reading here was that was kind of not like around his time they stop that now as and that's not that's against the law earnings are committed to commit suicide yeah okay yet and he did and they have you know ruining who are who like people who were like they were like the door like document like that's who they are the ones they're not fight wants another warriors i say this if there was time to leave because that ward they're trained to kenner right or he he was everyone in summer i which is in you would room after he was on he will be like i am you know like special forces whoever high a will fire in a sense among non five four different times he's got a mercenary on yeah but basically it's kind of like he was never defeated okay as in in from from small when you have the show donald pulling on this kid lebanon and so from since fifteen years or this month killing opponents on he we're talking about who do jews and then he cannot fool do it goes right up tinny monster right because i thought it was about eighty when that challenge amy challenger right and he chicken and more with old actual soldiers and he could end men would would would practice rudy practice sticks dog boston scott where were you practice sticks identity points where he stopped using blades on who you would actually fight after killing one of his main appointments with a stick not anything as he wrote this book when he was like eight sixty something you know he he fights any killing he understood strategy he understood success right as i i yeah he took a warrior as you saw it on you've been having a fifty fifty as much as he used his successor with his blood yes or no use he penned any loss of his knees and document what why was he so so successful so that people could learn from you gotta be a warrior and if you real what did you mean things i came to my understanding of summer i was resolute acceptance of that's right i mean talking about that and then when you look at yourself road yet myself i even i yourselves when we decide to do something we've never done before i mean really decide to achieve off for potential we we we must must be resolution which accept any debts of or also mhm.

"brian rudy" Discussed on The 11th Hour with Brian Williams

"Welcome back. As we mentioned this, the polite way to put it mixed messages tonight coming from Rudolph Giuliani, I'm whether or not Trump will answer Robert Muller's questions on obstruction of Justice. Earlier today, Giuliani told our guest, Jonathan Lemaire of the Associated Press that President Trump would not answer Muller's questions on obstruction of Justice in writing or in-person quote. That's a no go. That is not going to happen. Giuliani said, there will be no questions at all on obstruction. Meanwhile Giuliani tells NBC news earlier tonight, that obstruction questions are quote not ruled in or out. We have asked Jonathan Lemaire to stay with us for this conversation and joining in the conversation. Chuck Rosenberg, former US attorney for the eastern district of Virginia. Also a veteran, former senior official of the FBI. So Jonathan, because we're talking about your interview. It's been said one side of this matters, not what Rudy. He says, but when does it start mattering? These changes back and forth just and then the time since your interview with him? Yeah, I really Johnny. First of all, this is not the first time he's been inconsistent, right? And certainly his as much as he is title is president's lawyer. He's far more president's legal spokesman being more the public face of this, and part of that is to sort of move the goalposts onto what would need to happen for the president is sit down interview with with special counsel, but also to shape public perception as to what that interview could be eventually with. Of course, the endgame being Muller, we believe, write a report that end up DOJ to congress, and they'll make that decision and he's playing to those congress members into the people vote for them. That's where he is. That's his target audience, but as much as he gave mixed messages later tonight, he couldn't have been clear with me when we when we spoke earlier this evening, suggesting that two things that there would be no, ma- no questions about obstruction. The president would not feel them either in terms of sit down. Interview or written though he did not discount the idea that he would take some written questions on the Russia collusion angle, and that's in response to the Muller teams. Most recent letter just from a few days ago signaling that they would be up for written questions on obstruction. But Rudy was very careful again to change the move those goalposts just a little saying, well, we might be up for that that we really wanna talk about the idea of follow up questions. We want to know. We're not sure we're going to be agreeing to any five questions and we want to have that matter settled before the president answers. Anything at all. Okay. Chuck you're out in the Pacific, northwest, and thank you for taking time out of your trip to join us. Does any of what Rudy says matter? And my question to you is because Muller cannot speak and will not speak, what should we know about how the feds view all of this? Right. Good question. And I'll be polite to use the phrase mixed messages. Brian Rudy has been Mr. Giuliani has been consistently inconsistent. It's absolutely stunning, but. It's no longer surprising. But as a former federal prosecutor, I can tell you this while the Muller team would like to speak with the president. In fact, they'd like to speak with everybody who's involved at this investigation. They don't have too often in federal investigations. We don't get to talk to the target of the investigation. He's abroad or he won't speak with us or invokes is fifth amendment privilege not to speak with us. And so you can finish an investigation without speaking to the president. If Bob Muller decides he wants to push the issue, regardless of what Mr. Giuliani says, he simply issues a grand jury, subpoena and litigators that I don't know what he's thinking about doing because he won't talk..
