"The NFL because almost any team could beat almost any team most weeks? Yeah I would say something very similar. I would say okay first of all first of all. Let's see how the Patriots any good well who they beat the steelers steelers the lull fins the jets and the bill okay all right so but the Patriots Tom Brady okay well the team. I would say just like you that the niners have actually beat that are pretty good. Would the Tampa Bay buccaneers because guess what Tampa Bay is the seventh best team based on efficiency overall. If you're looking at football outsiders efficiency metrics this is is the also the same buccaneers beat the rams and throw it fifty five points on the rams because that's a team that actually has some talent on defense and has some really really difficult weapons to defeat on offense and the niners completely grounded that defense altogether but then on top of that we spotted a bad team five turnovers overs and still won the game so yes we may not have drubbed the Pittsburgh steelers as much as we should have but quite frankly we spotted them. Five turnovers still beat. Them completely demolished the bengals which you should do if you're a good team beat. The Tampa Bay team that I think is going to be sneaky. Good this year and even in the first quarter of the ear has been a top ten team so I would say no. Sir Your incorrect. The forty niners have played someone it just happens to be the bucks but then on top of that you should trounce the people that are worse than you and the niners have to the tune of five turnovers and doing it and oh by the way let's see how they plan Monday and that's how I would write pound my beer on the ground around and just walk out and say I'm out just Lee yes and I would say here's the tape of the forty niners defense against the Pittsburgh steelers after every turnover and then I would break my beer bottle on the ground in stabbed the person so you would go with the Australian glass glass someone yes and they might live long enough just to see that last bit of film that I gave them and then die knowing that I won the argument. This got dark really dark really quickly. I mean we went from like being excited about winning a bar argument to like Joe pesci Dude at a bar with a pen or a beer bottle. You know it's the the Australian which Naski fans will enjoy the glossing as that is a traditional Friday night in Australia. Yeah my friend we bring the podcast to a close. I love if I was playing Friday morning basketball I would probably have have to kill the other guy that was trying to also be John Stockton on the team. So if that's the guy you're arguing with indefinitely. We're GONNA WE'RE GONNA. Shake somebody in that argument. Yeah No. I'm definitely arguing against. It's the more of a I wouldn't say he's Draymond. I would say he's like and he's not horace grant either who roller truly that's actually not a bad one. It's not a bad one month. "GonNa show Sherman so wherever they put Odell whether it be in the slot he'll be against Kahlon or whether it's going to be kind of out wide. He'll be on one of the two corners. It's going to be difficult. I think for anyone for any corner to just man up Odell and so at that point then you're going to have to basically reduce conflict on the browns during the Browns offense by basing right linebacker you are a pass first defender and I'm going to rotate my safety end of the box and if that's the case then maybe that's why they promoted in Marshall Harris you know maybe they thought they could get some some kind of looks from him as an in the box atheism speed but I think the niners are probably going to be seeing a lot of rotation from the defensive backfield and making sure they're safeties are up there to support the run because that they're going to have to in order to really combat the Pierre's yeah. I wonder if I could go either way because maybe the forty niners won a show pre snap reeds for Baker Mayfield and have him sort of pre snap think okay. There's only six in the box right now so I'm definitely throwing this or there's only six in the box now. I'm definitely going to hand this ball off. In the forty niners might want to try to force the browns to hand the ball off and hopefully into the strength of their defense and then let their their front six at that point basically do all the work so that that's that's going to be an interesting chess match there and I agree with you. That's GonNa be one of the biggest things that determines this game and it comes down to the forty niners front really winning and having a convincing win against the browns offensive line which I think is definitely possible but Yeah Moseley. Ob The J. It's a tough one. It's GONNA be a tough test for the forty niners and I know a lot of people are like yeah. They haven't played anybody and even the browns. Aren't that good so we gotta wait until week six. I think this this will be a huge test for the forty niners in I'll be impressed with a victory for the forty niners on Monday night football just because of where they're at healthwise and missing to really big pieces in Joe Staley and a killer witherspoon yeah yeah so you mentioned that the safety is rotating. That's something that's happened more this season than it hasn't seasons past and that's something that's going to benefit up at the forty niners against the team like the browns because when you're able to rotate when you're able to keep those safeties up and you're not always. GonNa move your strong safety to the strength of the passing formation. You're able skyser coverage a little bit more. That's something that in the first couple of games did confuse Baker a bit the teams through a few exotic especially the titans. I don't know that the niners are gonNA throw necessarily certainly a lot of exotic looks at them but that that's safety rotation will indeed not make an obvious as to what the niners are playing. This is one of the things they've done this season. It's something that the Ravens did against the browns and they had some success with it wasn't as much success as some of the other plays some of the other teams. I should say but ultimately I. I think it's going to be a something that's going to to really stress the forty niners defense out. I think you're right because the the that that defensive line is going going to be where the forty niners win the game and you'll get the person you're attacking and it's it's gotta be Greg. Robinson Nick Bosa against Greg Robinson's going to be the thing that will help turn the a game for the niners because both aligns pretty much exclusively over the left tackle ninety nine percent of APPs have been over the left tackle and Greg Robinson has been Cleveland's second worst offensive linemen because their first worst offensive Lineman Erik Kush has allowed eleven pressures on just one hundred and seventy to pass snaps. That's Hashtag Hashtag knocker ball. It's pretty terrible like it. Is that may be below. Jordan Davey like Zane Beatles Jordan Debbie be this is the pressure area that Eric Kush is is occupying right now and so if you can get Bosa lined up against Robinson and you can have him win as he is wont to do and then you've got someone on the interior like let's say I don't know deforest buckner going up against Bush then that's when you can really begin to to see Baker. Mayfield be affected knock at time. Get Skittish in the pocket and hopefully that's secondary can cover when he gets plays out structure yeah absolutely and Baker Mayfield is is a bit of what I would call a front runner too so I think getting him mentally out of it. You know when when he's up and things are going great he'll tell you how great he is and he's puffing out his chest and things go south a little bit. Maybe get him grabbing his crotch on the sideline. You know get get them angry at each other at halftime arguing in fighting with all those personalities not. I wanted to talk to reporters after the game. That's the kind of level of frustration I think the forty niners need to get at Baker Mayfield and I love the way you put it just making him think I think that's that's really the key for the forty niners in this game and and I'm interested to see if they can do that and I think they can't because I think they have some clear winds on the defensive line there in and that's going to put it's going to put some stress on Baker Mayfield feel now on offense of course the browns have some secondary issues of their own because greedy Williams and denzel ward a couple of fantastic cornerbacks their day to day with hamstring issues. They've been out for they. They missed last game. TVD As to whether or not they're going to make this game against the forty niners and the two corners that are replacing them TJ carrying terrance Mitchell they might be targets even though they've played okay in spurts I would say Mitchell played well last week but TJ Carey has been pretty much average and so if you're looking for a a place to attack then you're gonNA look at those corners and you can also attacked Eric Murray. WHO's been there slot guy because of the browns are GonNa play as much coverage as they did against the rams and it's going to be an opportunity for the forty niners wide receivers to say. I'm going to beat you. One on one and it's going to be perhaps situation like you outlined before where teams can just lineup and man up and say we can take you out with our corners and this is where I think the forty niners wide receivers have got to step up because Jerry Rice said on the Mayo podcast that the niners wide receivers are good. They just got to really Kinda. Take the bull by the horns and it it goes something that Shanahan said about no one really elevating themselves really kind of winning that number one job this this may be a game where those wide receivers begin to do that and really begin to be that number one guy when there manned up against the browns corners yeah and I've questioned the usage with the forty niners wide receivers receivers and I thought look once. Do Samuel one that starting wide receiver job I don't like yanking him in and out of the lineup but obviously he's a rookie wide receiver notoriously. Tori sleep rookie wide receivers. It's a difficult transition into the NFL. His offense was stupid at South Carolina the first time I watched Ibo Samuel leading up to the draft I was like I can't watch this is terrible. I can't he's running half speed like maybe throwing the ball and then I'll run with it afterwards. I don't know it just you know crossers and it was really bad and not fun to watch and then we got the senior bowl. You've got to see him run more. NFL routes thinking Oh. This guy is ridiculous. He's so good but I think the transition's tough and I think we're seeing you know he's physically gifted. He can go moss dudes and go take the ball out of the can run after the catch is built like a running back and I love the attitude and it's exactly what the forty niners need so I would want him out there as much as possible to you. Maybe even if he's not maybe if Dante Pettis just because he's got a year in the League is slightly better. Today I think Deebo Samuel is going to be better by some point this season. I want to get him out there and have the most reps possible and so I wanna see if Dante Pettis GonNa play. I'd rather him play the spot that he was playing last year or go. In and out of the lineup there with with Marquess Goodwin marquees brings the speed but if you really want to get Dante Pettis into the football game I would love to see Deebo and Dante together the other and we haven't seen that yet and that's something I would really like to see but it doesn't seem like that's in the cards right now for the forty niners. You know I do think that Shanahan has a plan for certain wide receivers on the team and he is treating this unit as a complimentary unit while I think that he thinks that Shanahan things pettus can be the number one. He's not there yet and so you see the types of plays that he runs for Deebo Samuel. He's putting him in situations to succeed. There's a reason that running depot on a slant to to get I down as part of the drinking game for the better rivals podcast because because that is where deebo Samuel wins. It's also getting him in the ball and space on some of those more deceptive kind of hey he's GonNa run in fly motion and then you throw in the ball on that screen he he really wants to get him in space and it's clear that he treats him like a wide receiver hybrid running back and so Elliott offensive weapon happen. That's that's not his name. He's not a fullback so so I think that he's got a plan for each one of these wide receivers and that's probably why you're seeing some of that rotation and I can't argue with a lot of the plan. I think it makes sense as to how he's utilizing them especially. If no one's going to really really emerge as that lead wide receiver now of course Jalen Jalen Hurd could come back this week. He had a a reaction in his back a stress reaction. which is the first time? I've heard that which is interesting I don't. I don't think that he I don't think you'll be for this game to be honest with you. I think especially with the short turnaround next week they will probably shelve him for one more week and then maybe play on on the following Sunday but I think that overall Shane has planned for these guys and and the.

"He's an athlete. I'm glad he's getting a start because if he is another positive development that's just another quill in the forty niners or another arrow. Although I should say in the quill for the forty niners because you can never have too many good cornerbacks and the forty niners the browns really proving into the niners as to why that's the case because they're they're coming in with an offense that is gonNa be difficult to stop unless the forty niners defense plays perhaps one of its best games because Baker Mayfield is good at quarterbacking backing and when he's throwing the ball back or Jarvis Landry who is in the concussion protocol but he's still may have a chance to play especially with the extra day. Antonio Calloway is coming from coming back from suspension. I'm so they've got a really deep wide receiver core and it doesn't matter whether or not Landry's blown up for one hundred and some odd yards or Odell Beckham as threatening has he always does. It's going to be a test for every single one of the players in the forty niners secondary yeah and to your point with the peace bark and the athleticism from Emmanuel Moseley versatile to it can play outside and play inside which I think is huge but that's why the teas table or signing is more of a head scratcher because you'd think that you would wanna bring bring in somebody like Moseley someone that has athleticism that maybe just hasn't put it altogether yet. That could become something. Instead of bringing player that you know is already bad and if all you need is is a veteran than it would seem like someone like Dante Johnson even though he's not very good at all would make more sense because he knows the scheme and he's someone that could plug in easily. If you had to plug somebody in so oh you know someone like the drafted rookie from Alabama Smith who was really good athlete. He was a five star recruit. Someone like that would have made more sense than table or to me because you at least see if you could turn the light on for a young guy that could potentially be something so the move. I don't get they did bring in in Quinton Quinn Meeks who I liked coming out of Stanford so he makes some sense and and maybe they'll find somebody to the active roster as well. I know some of the beat writers said that's a possibility and maybe because of Jason Rabin nicked up. Maybe that's why they would do something like that. At two players I think ultimately ultimately when you're looking at that secondary I think Moseley provide some versatility because I think you're right if he doesn't moved inside it. Let's say that the the browns go four wide tests that depth I mean Moseley moves inside. I think you have read come out and then play the outside corner and then maybe you've got and then of course you've got the slot and Got Sherman on the other side. I'm curious what they do with Jimmy Jimmy Ward because of course the team seems to love him and he could continue his ping pong around nickel or corner or safety depending on where he goes because I think the browns are going to be hard to stop the first thing I think the niners defense have to do is they've gotta make Baker Mayfield think and that doesn't necessarily come part of the secondary but that's GonNa come with the front. Freddie kitchen kitchen said that of course this is going to be one of the more talented fronts that he's seen and he's absolutely right. The niners have a fantastic defensive line but what's interesting is that the titans had some success making Baker Mayfield think and they did so with with simulated pressure looks now what the Hell's a simulated pressure look at basically. It's where it looks like it's going to be blitz but but ultimately the team just sends four. You'll see a lot of mud fronts or they'll put linebackers in both the gaps and then they drop out. Maybe they'll blitz a corner and then drop yes a Lineman lineman or a defensive end on the other side to get a new short zone but making Baker Mayfield think that he's getting pressure screwing up with the protections making him skittish in the pocket. I think think is one way the niners can can kind of ground Mayfield because they're going to have to because if you let may feel sit back there and pick you apart he's good at quarterback to to just rely on lining up playing some strength defense yeah and just letting him sit back and sling it and have some good down and distance situations is probably the worst thing thing that could happen to the forty niners and so. I think a lot of that is nick. Chubb who's a beast and we saw him break out last week and I'm a little bit worried that the forty niners got the browns at the wrong time because it looks like they figured something out last week beating a good team whereas losing the bad teams before the Ravens handily and Nick Chubb was a a huge part of that and I think that just makes things easier for everybody else in one of the things I noticed from the browns earlier in the season is especially when it came to Nick Chubb is he was draws and zone read and like you know the RPO stuff where inside zone where he was kind of flat footed and I think they did a lot more downhill type stuff with him which really helped and then in turn that helped the play action and helped Baker Mayfield decent things in the kind of got Jarvis Landry going out of the slot more more and it just it really just all started to click and it's it's unfortunate the forty niners get to face the Cleveland browns after they've kind of figure things out and started to click because they I didn't look great in the first couple of weeks. Well they made a shift from weeks one two three two week four and this is where I saw from and I'm going to mess up his last name because hey we gotta stay on brain better rivals podcast ball hembekides. I think at Paul Hembo but he said Browns and twelve personnel to titans weeks one three twenty four plays three point nine yards per play week four at the Ravens Twenty four plays eleven point four yards per play so they ran as many twelve personnel plays in week four against the Ravens as they did in weeks one three combined and one of the players that was really successful for them was this kind of RPO with Ricky Jones which hey that guy still exists list but he he would line up as one of the two tight ends and then Baker Mayfield what effectively run the RPO but now you've got Ricky Seals Jones in the middle of the field ruled against the linebacker who has already come up to maybe defend against the run and that worked a couple of times to great success with the browns and that was a big reason why they had such a high yards per play in week four so the RPO is absolutely something the forty niners defense is going to have to be prepared to go up against because it really is a foundational piece of the browns offense right and with Ricky Shields Jones. I love him because his name is a sentence. It's like what did you seal Jones with Ricky to Saran wrap we talking about Tupperware but yeah the RPO's that's definitely a heavy part of their offense hit Jarvis Landry those in just a quick boom boom plays and that kind of goes into what we were talking before. I think it's a big win. It's the one thing that I think the forty niners need and we'll get is a clear win from their defensive line versus the Browns offensive offensive line and if the linebackers can hold their water and they can kind of stay back and be in their zones and not buy too hard on the run on those. RPO's that are really helped them mountain so I'm I'm really interested to see how and look I think nationally Fred Warner and Alexander are probably not getting the credit they deserve. This might be national breakout game for that pair and really you know the world being like. Oh the forty niners not only have good defensive line you know and they've got Ford and they've got the force buckner and they've got that Nick Bosa and they've got Jimmy Garoppolo quarterback and call Shanahan and all this stuff and GM John Lynch four player. That's all anybody talks about the forty niners. We might come out of Monday night. Football being like Oh man Fred Warner in quant Alexander is like one of the better young linebacking Duos in the league. This is really going to be a test for them and it's really going to be a test for them in coverage which which is one thing that they've done relatively well in the first four games three games for the forty niners but ultimately. RPO is about putting defenders in conflict are are your run first defender or you a pass first offender and for a lot of teams linebackers are indeed run first offenders and that's kind of the problem right the line blocks and if the linebacker Areso keys and he's like Oh this is going to be run. They're going to react. They're going to step up and just one step is going to vacate an area and Baker Mayfield throws the ball to quicken with too much zip breath and Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry also equally good off the line where that turns into a touchdown or at the very least it's going to turn into a seven eight nine ten yard game in happened to the rams on a lot of plays. They're hooked defender their linebackers just took a couple steps towards the run playside and Baker hit the backside out with incredible zip. I mean it was almost like clockwork over and over and over again how well they were able to hit the RPO. It's something that they practice practice it often and they're really really good at it and they're get a hit you with it a couple of different ways they're going to be they're going to do that like the traditional zone read with the running back moving across the quarterback on zone run and then they're running a backside slant. The key here is that the wide receiver runs the route to the same side that the running back lines up to and that's going to be a key for that kind of that. Hook defender that area where he's the running backs line-up over here. I'm probably going to route to that same side on Rpo but then they started changing it up. They're gonNA come at it from a heavyset like we were talking about earlier with Rookie Sales Jones. The also change it where the wide receiver runs out from the other side and so the team is GonNa have to be prepared for all the different ways that the browns are gonNA come at them with those. RPO's because that's the foundational piece that offense and if they can begin to stop that then all of a sudden the Browns offense becomes a lot less dynamic and if you can just base the lineup and Russia that's GonNa be a pretty positive recipe for the forty niners absolutely and actually reminds me of something that we just talked about with all the twelve personnel that the browns used last week that I think is something they should continue to do and I remember seeing this in week one against the buccaneers especially in the second half and even with the bucks down the second half against the forty niners they kind of got Ronald Jones is going and they were running a lot of twelve personnel in those two tight ends and I think if I was in office coordinator against the forty niners front and with the defensive ends out wide. I think too tight ends. This is a really good way to attack them in the run game because you get those tight ends that they keep the defensive ends out there then you can double team both defensive tackles if you want and an increase from space inside and then if you get. Niqab going downhill in that way that's something I would look for definitely from the browns and the forty niners to come up to to try to thwart that if that is in in fact and it looks like the last week but that's the way the browns are going to attack this thing from the run game perspective. It's going to be an interesting decision for the browns because the question that I if I were fighting kitchens without asking myself is do I want their their same linebacker in the game or do I want their third their third D in The game because the niners you're going to have to decide whether or the browns can dictate that with their personnel and I don't know man I think at this point I'd probably still want the niners third fourth or fifth. DB Out there before for I'd want their linebacker I would probably if I was the browns rather be facing greenlaw than K. Juan Williams but the forty niners are getting very thin and you start getting into that I mean. Dj Read Compl- a little bit and he can play outside and inside. It's just you know is it just going to be like it was last year where every team was like well. Richard Sermons over here and maybe he's not fast anymore but he can shut people down basically with reputation so we'll just leave that alone and let's just throw left all day and I'm worried it's going to become that again for the the forty niners if Emmanuel Moseley isn't up to snuff and he's not ready to go and if Jesus read snicked up on top of being you know not in football shape or whatever is going on with him and then things could get ugly early because then it's not about scheming more than it's just like. Let's just attack this weakness until they can stop yeah you know. I I think it depends because I do think that they should probably tasked Moseley early early. The niners are going to defend the browns and a couple of different ways one way to defend the RPO really is is with single high and it's with man coverage across the board because that way you've just got got a man and a man and it's difficult to run that slant or that route went everyone's manned up and that's going to be difficult for the niners to do when you're looking at potentially Jarvis Landry Against Against Manual Moseley or Odell Beckham Against Moseley because while the niners do move Sherman around any any has kind of followed some wide receivers in the past. He's not a shadow corner at this point joint so chances are he's not..

"Not only the host of locked on forty Niners podcast, and my good friend. But the reigning champion of oblong balls fantasy league Brian peacock. What up? How you doing man and happy birthday, doc? Oh, thank you, man. Thank. Yeah. Three years old this week doing this thing just daddy's little soldier making me. So proud. Nick mullins. We got the news. He was starting yesterday. CJ Beathard couldn't grip the football for most of the week. And it was all bad and all the forty Niners one in seven. So, hey, why not roll Nick Mullins out there? Now one school with Brian is a Nick Mullins was only pressured on three of his dropbox. The raiders are terrible. But hey, it was an NFL game against an NFL team. And he was an NFL quarterback in played his ass off last night. Nick, Mullins, your thoughts. Was done real. It was nights in day. Seeing Nick Mullins run that offense from the very first snap on they went. They went with Niro in the backfield empty backfield on the first play the game. He threw on time in rhythm. Tamaki? Good went on that. How pattern I down from there? They just rolled into the end zone. That was the best drive forty Niner tattle season and performance a quarterback was the best performance. Quarterback all season. And it's better than any game team. CJ Beathard play in the number. One thing was the confidence the timing of the decisiveness. He was throwing away. I'm only on the military that was that was I opening worth their. Wow. So let me ask you this put a percentage on this one one hundred you know, because it's a percentage. The successive Nick Mullins last night. Had what percent to do with the fact that the Oakland Raiders are deplorable and if quit on Jon Gruden. Seven. Okay. All right. All right. That's fair. Why why would you would you landed sixty seven. Well, you mentioned the sax earlier and a lot of that was thanks for listening in the ball out quick Shelton flicked it he talked about. How copy is the Nobel the ball? So often Nick Mola's the ball was coming out on time. It was coming out on target flooded. Maybe a couple maybe a couple of weeks. He might have a gunslinger he's not afraid to swing that rock. And it's so important and that so a lot was definitely him. I mean, it looked different the office was it was an orchestra was beautiful to watch versus the mess that it had been for a while the season. So that's part of it. But then also it was pretty obvious at the end of that game or very early in that game that the Oakland Raiders are the worst team in the NFL. And it's it's not even close. And my goodness. I you know, as you know, I'm going up against wink in our league this week. And I got cute I decided to start Derek Carr thinking that'd be the way to go. It was not. So there's that the defense racking up eight sacks last night. They had sixteen coming in. Now, they've got twenty four did the math no big deal Cassius Marsh, though, his best game as a pro. I don't think there's any question. What did you see out of him last night other than the fact that again, he was going up against ofensive linemen that seemed like they'd rather be playing parcheesi? Both Cassius Marsh and Dakota Watson welcome back, by the way, coming up. I think they combined for four sacks. And it was part of it was just feasting on rookie officer, tackles, cold, Miller and Parker and the other side had bad game Miller. And probably shouldn't even have been out there for a lot of time. And then they kicked assembly out from guard to tackle. And he didn't fare any better. So that was just a lot of bad raider football. They contribute to that. But the one thing I will say and we saw this in at the end of last season. That's why you credit McMullan's a lot for this game. It was it was a different look it was a different feel for the entire roster. Come on a short week, and how much you guys had in their step. They're playing hard flying around. It was a different vibe. And it was almost reminiscent of that Jimmy Garoppolo affects that happened last season. Those last five games wasn't just a passing game. That was better. It was people flying around making plays with a quarterback. The fact that the offense can stay on the field means the defense is on the field with much they weren't gassed in the fourth quarter. So they could play that all gap. No breaks Robert saw likes to play. So. It was it was so important to have good quarterback play in you one thing that things have missed the season. Most is the pass rush. Yeah. And competent quarterback played keep drives live put points on the board and keep the defence fresh those things working together really helps everything else wants so smooth. And you saw how that works together. Yeah. It's funny. What a little bit of good quarterback play. We'll do the ripple effect that it has on a on a club. And whether it's keeping that defense rested on the sideline or you know, the offensive line. You know, maybe holding those blocks a little longer receivers run in a crisper row in just knowing that that ball's gonna come because we see it with wide receivers. If they don't believe in that quarterback that he's going to get that ball on time to them that you guys maybe we'll run around is hard. They'll they'll kinda pull up and because there's no way he's getting this ball out here. And you know, we see that. And if guys know it's coming in the ball's going to be on time, and that's at play for them. I gotta run around. Maybe just a little bit harder. So the ripple effect. There was definitely felt last night talking to Brian peacock lock on forty Niners podcast joining us as he does every Friday night. We'll because he's terrific guy. Let me ask you this the celebrations last night in particular after I think it was the the sack fumble guys doing, you know, kicks and dancing and everything and Richard Sherman was right there in the mix. So if Richard Sherman signing off on it who am I to judge. Right. But I just I felt like really like your turn seven and you're beating the raiders like it's like a pop Warner team. I mean, I know it's supposed to be entertainment. But I don't know, man. I thought that wasn't a great, look, what would you think I said that was borderline disrespectful, and what's funny is that the raiders didn't care. That's how little fight they had. Have you can you can have a dance party on us. We just don't care. That was pretty amazing. So bad standpoint. It's like, let's go. That's awesome, Cassius Marsh steward like nine karate kick usually does just one. But he just kept it going. It was like streetfighter out there. I remember the character. But the one that did flying baby. Yeah. There you go. So it's like whatever like earned it. So have a dance party go for it. But yeah, no, you're right. It was borderline disrespectful. That's how bad they were beat the raiders. So they gotta own it. Yeah. I hear ya. I don't know. Although I will say in Cassius Marsh did this a couple of weeks ago where there was the fumble in the end zone. And he's doing a cloudy kick while the ball could be live, and he's not trying to jump on the phone see on that play the car the car and football. He's already going into his free. And that's part of it is it's contrived celebration. Right. He's not happy. Like, he's still karate kicks the ball. Could you live? He can be celebrating kicks. Well, you know, I I guess if you don't get it's hard to act like you've been there before if you're if you're not collecting a lot of sex so more power to catches Marsh through your Friday kick. Now, it's like when the raiders Derek cars first year finally got that win against the chiefs members CO more. And I remember who else it was. But they're dancing around while the play was still alive and they're still dance behind the play. And then I remember post game. I can't remember who has maybe was Charles Woodson or somebody. Well, no. But somebody came up to them at one of the veterans in the locker and came up to and said you need to act like you've been there before. And it was Justin tuck. Thank you. Now. Charles woodson. Sorry, Justin tuck came up to to the guys after the game. It was like to act like you've been there before like, but we haven't been there before. No doubt about it. All right. Hey, I just thought it wasn't the best luck. But like I said if Richard Sherman signed off on it, then so be the only thing Richard Sherman signed off on was leading Nick Mullins, give the pre-game speech. And boy, Nick Mullins is fiery, man. I he rallied the troops last night. Right. Yeah. I mean, not only his play on the field that every surrounding get the posting mere few Erin Andrews getting choked up having a fight every step of the way to get where he is. I mean, he was Alabama Gatorade player of the year in high school. Crimson tide. We're sending him letters. No new care. You know, he he didn't get any letters from Alabama. So he ended up at southern miss up going off for over four thousand passing yards as junior year breaks Brett farve record of calling him and trying to throw him in the NFL trap six one hundred eighty seven pounds. And so he had to fight for that. And and he shows up in the NFL is opportunity and he earned it. So when it comes to whenever calcining and is forced to announce who the starting quarterback is not only is the team better. Not only does he have to start Nick Mullins because it's their best chance to win flat out Nick Mullins has earned it. And so that guy better be the starter. Yeah. So you think that's pretty cut and dry right now. I mean wouldn't announcing then why would he they got a buy week coming up and they're not gonna play again. Well, they got a mini mini by excuse me. They're not playing again for what eleven days football against the giants. And that's it. Exactly. So yeah, they got ten days off now. So they basically are gonna play one. One football game in the next twenty days. So you got no need to announce that as of yet. But do you think there's no way in hell that CJ Beathard gets that ball for that giant's game? No, I don't think. So. And also, I think luckily sort of for calcining, and is he can kinda hedge a little bit because that she still hurt. So you could say, oh, you know, she is not a hundred percent. So we're definitely gonna go with Nick this week. And if Nick Molin sort of, you know, the clock strikes midnight and Nick Mullins lays an egg after the bye, he can be like okay now she can go back to. Puts on another great performance in it's obvious. And there's no decision. So with thirty injury. I think that makes me decision a lot easier for calcium because if she gave methods ninety nine point nine percent healthy and not one hundred percent then makes that a lot easier. And even if he was a hundred percent healthy. And even if there had never gotten hurt in the first place, I think it was obviously time to make a change because. Progressing. In fact, he was kind of regressing and it was just night and day to see that offense move with timing in rhythm. It'd be a quarterback this decisive getting the ball quickly knowing where the hot rowdy is what he's getting flipped. I mean that was probably my favorite throw. The whole game was Molin sitting Ritchie James when he's getting blitzed on third down at six and he knew exactly where that was. If you lose wide open makes for a big place. Egypt effort might have held that ball little too long and not on the ball out quickly. And that's kind of what he'd been doing this whole season. So yeah, my mind is cut and dry. It's Nick Moses starting quarterback outside of Watson Marsh who shown on the defensive side of the ball brightest for you last night. Brian. I think part of that was that raiders offense was so bad. And it was so they had such a tough time protecting their card that they just pulled him out of the game right instead and try instead of trying to shuffle things around and protect our quarterback. We should take the quarterback out of the game because we cannot protect him. So they just couldn't get much done at all. And the forty Niners knew that they had the lead. And that's one thing the forty Niners haven't been able to do much this year is play with the lead. It's in their ears back just go after the quarterback know that they can't really run the ball and one of my buddies who's raiders fan was actually like why are they still running the ball? And it's like, well, I guess they're just trying to protect quarterback because they can't block for on packing place. So the raiders are bad, and that's key in on both sides of the ball. But I I think everybody played well Fred Warner was flying around they can place. Jimmy ward was also flying around they can play everyone just looked a little bit more energized in that game personally because they weren't on the field. Much did have already not. But I think it was that Moore's effect and everybody played a little bit better in the past west when you can get home that really makes the defensive backfield. Look a lot better here here. Well, hey, Jon Gruden said it's hard to find a pass rusher man in the NFL. So he also said people are blowing up his phone trying to come play for the raiders. I'm like who are these people like Johnny Manziel? You know, I I just I don't understand who who's banging down his door to come play for the Oakland. Raiders right now are the Las Vegas raiders as it were. But but so be it. The last guy I want to ask you about. And by the way, Brian peacock from locked on forty Niners podcast putting out daily forty Niners content. Locked on forty.

"Gotta believe with the defense player at number nine fifty stay at number nine yeah i was gonna ask what teams do you look at you know in the possibility of trading up while the niners move back and gain even more pigs in this whole thing who who are those teams you're looking at the bills maybe yeah i i think there's a one hundred percent chance that the bills move up in some capacity they could go up as high as two i mean the everything we've done over the last twelve months this year up for the amunition in this draft to draft a quarterback and so it would be a shocker if he didn't move up to get their guy how far up they go is the big question so i think pick number two the new york giants they're you know kinda don't know what's going on there yet buffalo could could get up that high they have the immunization but i'm looking at peak four and take six so i think the trade action at least from buffalo standpoint we will have had to happen already before the forty niners are on the clock at number nine but there's still some other teams that be one quarterback does get through and maybe it's still could be the bills that are moving up and they just want to go up a little bit shorter miami dolphins at eleven i don't know the forty niners would be willing to help division rival get a quarterback but the cardinal another team that's looking to those two teams i just mentioned and get up into talking we're talking with our man brian peacock blocked on fortynine it's haver kevin franson on kmby are tonight getting ready for the nfl draft tomorrow and talk about the forty niners with the reason reuben foster news but brian what is the what is the number nine pick worth does it all depend because the draft is a crapshoot anyways but does it all depend on what the cleveland browns due at one and that will determine what the value is for the number nine pick for the forty niners it somewhat i mean i think it's more valuable if there's a quarterback that he teams trying to treat up for and especially if it's say the last quarterback that team deems worthy of drafting in the.
