"On your facebook and instagram? So biggest headache in the world is when we spend a bunch of time creating content pro social media and then we find that nobody is engaging with it. It's almost the worst feeling in the world. I get that like it's not about engagement and we should be focusing on like how many people are liking our stuff by also. It's really really really annoying when we're spending a bunch of time creating content and nobody's engaging with us. We spent a bunch of time in a bunch of energy in writing this piece of content and dislike spending a lot of effort on it and then we find that nobody ages with us. That's pretty frequent annoying creating content. And we're getting no engagement. It's really frustrating after a while if we continue to do this we don't actually figure out the root cause of the problem like why people are engaging with our content. We're going to end up frustrated and burnt out. And I'm sure a lot of I finished coaches. That are listening to this. podcast know exactly what I'm talking about. When we spent a bunch of energy and time creating content nobody engages with? We almost feel like we're we're getting to a point where we're like. What's the point of creating content if nobody's GONNA engage with it but the third and really? This is the biggest piece of the puzzle if you're creating your content wrong. I know this really sucks to hear. But you're not going to be creating value for your audience so it doesn't matter if you spend one hour or two hours three hours five hours on your content if it's not creating creating value for your audience it's not relevant and it's not valuable so that's why people are engaging so we're going to be talking about in different ways to increase the engagement on your content and once you start creating a more engagement on your content once you start implementing things. I'm GonNa Talk to you guys in about in this podcast. You'RE GONNA start to creates more emotional resonance and that's the name of the game people. We have to be able to create an emotional connection with their audience. So what is it. I'm not talking about the picture of you foxing and like showing up your biceps and also not talking about that photo of you when you're eating eating the healthy meal but what is it. That's going to create that emotional connection with your audience and finally through that emotional connection you're going to get more likes and comments. One of my clients actually recently wrote a personal story. And we'll talk a little bit about this in a second but wrote a personal story on his facebook and over seven hundred fifty organic likes eighty nine comments and sixty one people shared his post and organic. We're not talking about or anything like that. We're talking and that's on facebook not on instagram. Seven fifty one likes on facebook. That's some crazy stuff. So that's creating more likes and comments because out of those more likes and comments you're going to get more clients if more people are liking and engaging with your content on instagram on facebook on social media that means you're going to have more potential clients so undergoes Soda Soda and fifty one clients. That bad people like that photo that I was just talking about ended up booking four phone calls in selling to clients. So let's talk about engagement. It's not what engagement in how to increase engagement. And let's talk about some different ways that you guys can start deploying more clients with your social media and before we dive into it. I WanNa talk about one of my clients because I like to give practical examples samples for you guys. You guys can actually like understand the value of what we're talking about. So Ben joined my program and Ben said three hundred followers on instagram three hundred and not autumn extra traction like he didn't have a lot of people that are reaching out to him for help. In three months with only three hundred followers me and Benz were able to generate twenty online clients paying three hundred dollars a month with Only three hundred dollars. Obviously he grew more gets fifteen hundred out with only three hundred dollars and we focused on three specific things in order to get them to twenty online clients at three things we focused on audience audience creation content creation and emotional resonance. And we're GONNA talk about each one of those things today all right. So it's not the first concept which is emotional resonance because I think this this is the most important concept and. I'm sure you've heard like a you need to create your Ad Muhtar. You know there's a lot of business coaches that are talking. But I'm GonNa talk about what you guys are doing wrong right now. I I never ever ever want you guys to make post about your bicep curls about your squad or without or about your renew tradition without creating an emotional connection and I think the biggest mistake that I see on Venice coaches make is. They're talking about what exercises build your biceps without talking about what it feels like to have smallers. Does that make sense. It's a way to give me like a silent nod in agreement. See the biggest problem when it comes to creating their content and I can't stress this enough because his soul important and I still see my clients doing this and I have to go kicked him in the ass when they do. Your audience doesn't care about the most efficient way to do by some big. Don't your audience cares about getting bigger arts. Your audience cares about what it feels like to have sperms. Your audience cares about the problems that they're facing and the things that they want. They don't care about the exercise specifically and so the biggest reason that all trainers are failing right now and not making money is 'cause they're not creating emotional connection. Nobody cares. How much squad? They don't they WANNA know how video is going to help them solve their problem. They WANNA know how video is going to get them to their goals. When people are reading your posts they want to know what's in it for them so we need to create some emotional resonance so I'm not saying don't post about BICEP curls and I'm also not not saying don't post you nutrition plans but when you make your posts on facebook and instagram? You can't be talking about push. UPS macro about creating emotional connections like what's the emotional reason that people should be reading your content. You have to create a connection emotionally so understanding like the softball your Avatar. Those people that are brand new dominant finish coaching. You might not know what an Avatar car is. Essentially your avatars your ideal client. I personally you WANNA work with but once you have your Avatar this specific person. Let's say it's Theresa. She's a stay at home mom. She's in the twenties and thirties and she has a hard time going to the gym pitches a hard time building confidence. Once you have that Avatar. Theresa's going to have a certain set of bike emotional problems instead of my day to day. Struggles some things that she wants to accomplish accomplish. And when you're writing your content you need to be writing your content to those problems. You Candy writing about by some pros without writing about how it helps Teresa's life does that make sense. So don't talk about BICEP. Curls PUSHUPS mackerels without reading emotional connections you need to relate your content to your appetite so the first thing you need to do is to create emotional emotional resonance if you want to grab more clients social media your content has to me emotionally relevant. Doesn't matter how smart you are doesn't matter how much noble macaroni doesn't matter. How big your biceps are if you're not creating emotional connections you're going to struggle the second problem? The second thing that we need to focus on and this is a big big big problem with a lot of coaches. Is Outreach and engaged I think a lot all of us are treating social media like a one way conversation or treating social media and we're like Oh man Brian Mike. I'm wondering why nobody's engaging with my content but then when people do engage under content. You don't comment baptisms. You don't say. Thanks for interacting with me and you never engage with anybody else's content and so you're you're treating social media like one my conversation nation and you're just like I'm just GonNa like I'm Gonna I'm just GonNa Talk. Imagine doing a date with somebody and they just talk to your face for like an hour and a half immediately get awarded. Social media is a social platform so part of the reason. It's likely that part of the reason that your engagement on your instagram facebook. A super low is because you're treating social media like a one way conversation instead of a two way street. Social media is a social platform so you need to be social on the platform. If the people are commenting on your photos you better comment back to them and say like dude. Thank you so much for engaging with my content otherwise you're kind of a deck right. People are coming to your page dropping a comment. I and you don't have to at least come it back to them and say thank you like. That's a problem. You need to treat social media like a social platform. Social media is a two way street. Not a one way street needs to make sure you're having conversations and not just commenting people who are commenting on your stuff but also going to other people's pages interacting with their content. I if you know your ideal client is why wouldn't you go to their page and engage with them. Treat social media like a social platform so number one emotional resonance don't talk about Bicep curls with creating emotional connections it's number two you need to outreach and engage too. Many are treating social media like a one way street instead of a social platform and the third and final piece of the puzzle. And this is actually super counterintuitive. Is You need to create less less value. And you need to create more connection which means people don't just want to read about your bicep curls. They also want to know about you. They WanNa know about who you are. This is a fundamental treat. This has been a marketing fundamental for as long as time can tell in order for people to purchase off. They need to know you like you entrust you in order for people to purchase off. You need to know you like you can trust trust you apart of that like no trust. Dr Obviously is value. When you give people value something they can take? They like. They're like this is good and it can also trust you. They're like I trust this person they give me value but they don't know you and unless somebody knows you. They're not going to send you money overpaid. They're not going to send you a their credit card information unless they know you so to create an emotional connection is is to open up and share part of who you are that client that I was referencing earlier in the podcast where talked about. He wrote a post about his personal story. And how over. How fitness changes that one post slammed him four phone calls in two clients one post about his personal story? He wasn't talking about his workout. Here's bicycles or anything like that. So you need to create value. You need to create more connection and go. That's a little bit counterintuitive but unless your audience knows you likes you and trust you. They're not going to send you money over the Internet. So you need to allow people to see who you are less valuable connection resonance outreach and engage in less value more connection the last thing that I'm going to be giving guys in this podcast and this is a key takeaway and I want you to write this down and not forget it because there's three different types. Suppose you can make your social media. There's three I told you. Guys an order for people to purchase off you know you trust you cracked so in order for people to know you entrust you. There are three different. Content types need to deliver in order for that to happen number. One obviously value writing your posts about your bicep curls and how it relates to Johnny and small arms is going to help Johnny Johny. See that you're going to help him to change his life so creating value for your social media number twos connections like writing posts about who. You are what you do for find. Your Dog's name is showing your girlfriend. Shown you on family like showing the connection part that the side of you outside of fitness that allows people to develop connection with you so the second time opposes connection and the third and final puzzle which is on my in my opinion the most most important and powerful one is proof. People need to see that your method works folks because you can post all the value in the world you can post value for the next thirty days straight but unless you have proof of concept which means that people have gone through your program and completely change your life or you are living proof which means you are. You are the part you look Jack you are fit you are healthy. You've gone through your own transformation and most people can see proof that you know what you're talking about. They're going to be hesitant into invest. So there's three different value type or post types that you can make an social media number one is value. Number two is connection and number. Three's proof right so intermix intermingle commingle these three specific types of post content and watch. Your social media exploded so guys but sophomore. You let us talk about you podcast on my train. How you're not the podcast here? The podcast listener. Stop treating your social media like you're the speaker at an event because you're not your social media social platform which means you need need to be social on the platform. You need to comment back to people who comment to you and said Dude. Thank you so much for engagement. My content too because people. That's that's rewarded behavior if you do that once ends people like Oh this guy's awesome. Then they're gonNA they're gonNA keep engaging which is going to boost the engagement in the.

Well, I am so happy. We're finally coming at you, the listeners won't care, but Brian Mike care since we just spent like thirty third we're already laid. And then we spent like thirty minutes talking about obscure. Supreme court history and stuff that it's so enjoyable. That's how much we love away. We were doing away before a and Mike. That we we've hit record such a flop to talk about this week because we had the bar hearings. We had I think some some of I dunno. Unexpected is the right word. But I think it's an interesting situation that I'm really curious to get Andrews take on on. I'm sure the listeners are too which is you know, is is bar being honest, or is he saying what he needs to say to get confirmed. I'm I'm curious what Andrew thinks we're gonna talk about that. We're also going to talk about the shutdown which has as of what last week sometimes the longest one ever. It's awful. Can't wait to talk about that. Yeah. And arguments funereal death, March unabated? Yeah. I had is just such a, you know, there's a listener question that I not sure if you're going to address that actually maybe I'll spring on you if if if you weren't going to dress it so so we'll see about the shutdown and then no yodel mountain on today's episode. There's too much to talk about. But don't worry. We'll we'll be yodeling on Tuesday. All right. Got a couple little pre show announcements take away. Yeah. Two things number one. As we went to press, as we we are recording this episode, Alex Jones through his lawyers has filed an appeal in the sandy hook parents definition lawsuit. We will cover Alex Jones in-depth on Tuesday. So a lot of folks were asking about that. It's it's moving quickly. And and now that the appeal has been filed it won't move between now and Tuesday. So we will be covering that. And then Secondly, if if you like the show, and you're listening presumably, you do and you'd like to hear me do a deep dive on an eighteen forty three court decision about federal jurisdiction and Joseph Smith and attempted murder. It's super fascinating. I was I was a guest on episode. One thirty eight of the naked Mormonism podcast with our friend, Bryce Blanca Nagel. So so pet on over there put a link Lincoln the show notes. No question. We always talk at the beginning of the year bad. Hey, what would happen if the record is this or that or this and that, and we always say how you get to a certain place the New York Jets at one point this season. There were three and three unbelievable. Teams that are right now clearly in the pet playoff on exactly how in Indianapolis three and three considering they have now lost six in a row in the way. They lost these games the buffalo game. I got Tennessee game. Those are the two that jump out at you. Just the ugliness from the Miami game. What could happen to get this coaching staff wiped out now because to me. Brian. Dan. I don't know if you could even make it worse than what we've seen over the last seven weeks. Yeah. I don't know. That's the answer. I don't know. Because if you aren't gonna do it after buffalo. You know, you weren't gonna do it this week. I don't know when you're going to tell you know, I think they must be. Convinced that you don't do it in season that they're going to wait for the season. 'cause I can't be any worse in the next three weeks can make you do something before the end of the year. They must must've decided after buffalo game like we're sticking with them till the end the season. And we're not changing our minds because this is just been brutal. And I I read some of the comments at a Green Bay, you know, about why they five McCarthy when they and they said they didn't want this cloud over the organization from the last month. Right. So the jets are okay with that cloud being over much speculation anymore. We've all kind of. Is there any you know, what I have? No this ownership is so bad. I mean, let's be these guys are just disasters owners. Okay. Now. That's one of the look Leon Hess an Johnson brothers. You can't do any worse than what I've had to deal with his own is with that said is there any way that they would let this guy stay every day. I flipped out that that could happen. I. Helping my stomach. I gotta tell you. Now. There's no way there's no way. All right. Sure about that. I am. I. Sure of any light. But I'm not percents your what's your percentage on mcalinden sticking around because he doesn't exactly my job. Wants more interesting. I think the gagging right now if I was gonna say, I think I twenty five percent chance right now. But each with each week, it's going home in order for them. I think to defend that position. So I'm curious if they lose ten road and the season, but how they how they argue that how does it work if they keep seventy five percent. Is he hiring the head coach is higher? I think he asked you. What are you gonna do bringing you know outside can fired head coach? I don't think that makes sense. Well, here's what worries me though. And I know, you know, I won't get we'll get into this argument about McCarthy. But I walked McCarthy. I mean to me is the perfect guy. He's an old guy. He's dealt with these dealt with Rogers the guys out now winner he did win the Super Bowl and the idea that it was a fly. Reggie. So you say the word failure only one one just remember, Don Shula greatest time. You'd think he is not you. But you know, the Eddie with Dan Marino. So I want to throw that in there. Nobody complained about that with that said if a guy like McCarthy, all right? Yeah. If I got a chance to get a guy like that. I'm saying to Mike maccagnan. Okay mic. First thing. I would do that goes talked to McCarthy say look, can you work with Mike maccagnan as your as the general manager? I would ask him that. Okay. And if he can't and he's he'll take the job as a jet coach. Then he's out then mechanical would be out. That's how I would deal with it. Yeah. And that's it happen. You know, I could see that happening. If they fall in love with Mike McCarthy in this scenario, you just described he says, I can't work with this GM or you know, he's gonna scare some people. I think that. Two years. Any job and he can be done in a year. And then then we're leave you as a coach got hired you. You're getting an easy 'em here next year. So there are some things to navigate year for Christopher Johnson. And I could definitely see them if they if they love McCarthy, and they decide he's the guy and he says, I'm not working with MCI. Maybe that changes things, right? We all do you think? That they will view hiring a coach with experience, which they have not done the. That's a long time ago. You think that that is fun because not only is it been guys without head coaching experience. It's been defensive-minded guys for very long time. Now, obviously with a supposed- franchise quarterback. I would like to see him play. How good and how come the brilliant coach won't just come out and say he's playing that's just hey, we he he likes to play this game. I don't know. Whether it's the toy with us, or whether it's you really thinks he's gaining a strategic advantage. To look at a guy with experience as a priority. Or do you see them going in a similar route of a first time head coach? I think they will explore it. I don't necessarily think they're gonna put themselves in a box and say we're going to hire this where definitely higher that. I think they're gonna have to look at everything. I just don't know who other than McCarthy at Har law harbor now they're winning. Right. Right. Right. The out there in terms of the experience coach that's on the market. So, but I think they, you know, they'd have to get this, right? Brian here, a great coach doesn't matter if Ben special teams or whatever just get it. Right, brian. This is the such a, and I'm really I'm getting sick asked my wife because I'm getting sick over what's going on. Okay. All right now. I'm really I mean, you call me insane. But I am this is such a critical time for this franchise. They blow it again if they blow it again. Now, you sit in the back another five to ten years again. That's what's happening. Yes, they have to get this, right, Brian. Yeah. They do they do. And you know, and I know you like McCarthy Joe, I'm not anti I'm Mike McCarthy. I I just think you have to explore what went on that a little more Green Bay doesn't away. It's not like on my dad's forgotten. No way. No. There's no one. Would you? Do you want to see if you were running the show? Would you go for another? And I I understand what the Rams McVeigh with the bears have done with Nagy. I get all of that. But we do do that. I mean, would you go to def- Filipa one of these guys came in here, and they impress me. And I thought they'd be a leader this team leader, they need someone to come in here and just kick some. Yeah. Building and clean up going on here from either longer than pods Iraq's a lack of discipline in the building. There's a lack of accountability they need a leader. They need like what they got with parcels in ninety seven, you know, they need that. And I don't know who that guy is out there. So for me, I would just be I'd be trying to find that guy. With his background. Oh the Steelers collapsed. Maybe they'll get rid of Mike. Do that. They'll never do that. I would hire McCarthy in his second. I mean 'cause I I don't buy all boys getting fired. I know by Tomlin's getting fired. I don't see them. And if they do. I'm infidels guys. But I mean, this is this is this is a proven. He's fifty games over five hundred. He's been to the playoffs. Nine times. I mean on. I resolutions. But this is this is this is the kind of guiding need. Yeah. I just is. He is he parcelled in your eyes. He doesn't have to be poor sales. Plus cells is on a short list is the problem. Ten greatest coach of all time. He's in that top ten top twelve whatever you want to put him. I mean, they they need that kind of guy. Yeah, they need someone to. But I just don't know McCarthy, and I don't know. I watched the far. But is he the guy gonna come in here? And just clean building up. And be you know, the guy that's gonna hold everyone accountable, and and not worry about hurt feelings and not being built buyers coaches, you know, coming in. No. I'm not sure. You don't want. I look I look at it. I look at a guy like that. And I say to myself he's obviously had problems with Aaron Rodgers. And that's why getting fired Rogers to me. And I think that that's you know, it's come to that point. You know, these together thirteen. Yeah. And and they kinda got they kind of got tired of each other. But I mean, but I I. This is the pedigree type guy you're looking for. That's that's that's my. That's the only reason I'm going nuts about him. You know? Yeah. I understand you want a lot of games you got the Super Bowl ring. You know that you definitely unimpressive resume. I just think I would need to do some exploration on what happened in Green Bay. You know, I think Ted Thompson didn't do a great job out there giving them pliers. And I was part of the problem out there to counsel against the cab. How much did a cap is on him? Yeah. But I mean, they had a philosophy for a long time under Ted Thompson of not going into free agency. You know, they were and they didn't do anything a free agency signed Julius peppers. Everyone wants fell over that. They actually signed a free agent fell. You know, there's a lot to to kind of explore there and figure out I think if you're the gap. Brian Mike McCarthy safe Smart Choice because your idea which I'm not saying is wrong. Go out and find the next gray off. That's mine. The next Sean McVay. The odds are very high that no team is going to find that guy most of the time coaches fail. And here's and Joel go crazy about this. The jet track record of finding coaches has also been really bad. So if you don't trust Woody Johnson, Mike McCartney in the search committee to be the one to find the next great head coach. Isn't it safer to hire a guy that's already won a Super Bowl? No doubt. That's already at the bare minimum at least a competent head coach. But maybe not the answer as to a first time head coach that more likely than not we'll be fired within three years. Yeah. I want a guy who's going to be close to ten years, Brian. I mean, that's really what we need you. Right. Isn't it? Yeah. Yeah. And I I think he's a list right now, you're looking at it. I just don't think he's automatically end the mckee's with no questions asked. I think you have to explore it. I don't think I'm not locked into the offense in Sean McVay thing. I think like I said they need to they need to alpha male and was still that's what they really need to come in here and just take control of this team. It just feel like is. There hasn't been accountability..

"Dell played there. It's got a lot of friends there and Toronto is the team that he has the highest scoring average against any opponent in his career. He's playing. Yeah. So I would say that's a pretty good odds that you might see him in uniform now now I will say Steph because they're scrimmaging today. He could be I'm ready. I'm phenomenal that get to Toronto you could practice Wednesday in the medical people could tackle him and say you have to play Thursday or play Saturday like that could happen. But I'm just saying he's he's close. So playing Toronto is not that. I don't want to say it's a big deal. But to these guys they're the number one challenge. Parrot November Toronto Scott sixteen wins worse. Got fifteen minutes is a long season. You can find something to get excited. I think Toronto to start the trip of Milwaukee to finish. It is perfect because that will that will get both of their, you know, they'll get their attention for sure I like the wall, I like the daydream Draymond green warriors that you know, that regularly get thirty plus assists, more than the eyeso- Durant.
