Last night congressman. Mike gallagher of wisconsin appeared on fox news and spoke to brian kilmeade about this shocking development that casts real doubt on the credibility and yes the reputation of dr anthony fallacy to me confirms what we've known for months which is that foul cheesy lied to us. Rand Paul Shoots Down Collectivist Thinking Regarding Vaccine Mandates
"This is probably one of the most common questions that we get high charlie. I've been listening to you for almost two years in infos amazing This is from giovanni by the way. I have a question. Are there any options to deny the vaccine. They are requiring it at work. My husband is a deputy sheriff in. We'll just say in california. You just received an email that all county employees must get the jab before october first. We are not planning on getting the vaccine. He has worked for the department for over fifteen years. And we want to know if there are any resources to help in this matter. Please help well this is. This is the issue of the day. Right we get this question all the time. A lot of people feel like they're healthy. This has a mortality rate. The virus has a mortality rate of like point. Oh eight percent actually. You know we've got some got some great sound here from rand paul that i wanna play specifically on this. It looks like cut a one. Let's play cut one. This is rampal a box and friends. This morning with brian kilmeade. Who's been trending every day. Because he's he doesn't agree that in with any of these mandates let's play cut one here from rampal even the cdc says you're not supposed to get vaccinated if you've been infected within three months so we're going to tell me the cat fly for three months. Even according to the cdc so i do believe natural. Immunity should be taken into account but even according to the cdc this idiot would have is not flying for three months so it makes no sense. It's complete collectivism. And all of these people the same people who who did in holland and said trump is leading us to authoritarianism. What could be more authoritarian than a no fly lists for people who disagree with you and that's actually about the no fly lists which is very connected in his to all of this sort of collectivist thinking this mandate

Maybe ninety nine percent of the people who are dying from. Kobe are unvaccinated choice. They don't want to die so they are. The script of a three part series of thomas jefferson the tripoli pirates. Oso george watson secret six. I actually thought it'd be brilliant movie after watching l. f. to watching nicholas cage is series a national national treasure. I thought this is better The lead actor will be understandable and it actually happened so this network so it was thought those potentially do it I just like to see what other things we could explore especially on fox nation so many opportunities to do things. It's a big jim and you can do whatever you want jim when they roll the ball out. Yeah very cool very cool. Look forward to seeing all that stuff brian. I hope you do hit hit these things. You try to see their personality. Come out the other different. And you try to bring those elements out to you. And that's it. I mean i always. I like talking to kids. I like like seeing their friends when they were whether they're eight or eighteen. "There's definitely a sense of right and wrong in school comes first and You make eye contact with adult shake can't keep conversation going you always act respectful and and thankfully Between me and my wife. I don't think that's ever been an issue. I don't think people have ever had said well You know besides people saying that. They're funny and they make funny comments. I never heard anyone say you've been acting disrespectfully. That keep conversation going. I think mike has been around adults. So much between the coaches and the travel and the and the extended family That's the main thing. I think they understand that. They have take responsibility for their own life. They're not perfect. But i don't really you don't really have to bring the hammer down. Yeah well said and speaking of that. What what you do there bryan obviously living a public life like you do. Social media can be pretty unforgiving out there. How have you been able to manage your kids with any kind of criticism. That's come your way you have. Your kids ever been affected by that. Go into school because of your job a little bit but not that much and they just put our pictures off without italian like in the beginning. They didn't care. Now it's mostly. I put the dogs on because they have no say because people want to know about you personally that the watch every day listen to every day but you gotta you gotta respect them now as they get older. They want their own sets of privacy. But i think they get a kick out of some of the stuff is like because some of the stuff is so negative it's almost comical and other stuff is very supportive. Get the benefit may be of that For the most part. It's something that they've always had. Because my son was born in ninety six. I got started filling in ninety six and you know got the job in ninety seven so they never knew anything that different and it's in the beginning. No one really knew what fox was. Who's the third network of news networks. They said why does this country three news. Networks next thing you know between the election mess of with bush and gore and the nine eleven attacks and then the afghanistan war of to iraq war You know the the era of trump era president obama. All that everything that happened in fox became bigger bigger. And bigger. And everybody's profile rose from the number three network news to the number one network news announce the number one network period. Incredible now i know fox nation is blowing up big as well and now you have this grateful nation initiative. What can you tell us about that. And how can you listeners. Take advantage of it You've been serving in the military. You're gonna to get a free year. Fox nation as a lot of patriotic stuff on there. If you want some of that from pete heck set stuff especially Pitas modern warriors. He as another history series. I have a history series which is going to be up to thirty. Two episodes of what made america great all these different Different points past people places and things that have happened to separate us from everybody else so be able to travel the country do that. So you'll have that. If you want an escape you tucker causes. Great series in america built so you have so much content on there now About we go long form commercials reality to go thirty forty minutes with these facials if you need to. So and then you've got the live stuff you can watch the radio show. Dan bongino shows now on there. So you have live programming as well. So i think people are gonna love fox nation very cool. That's awesome that to veterans and the active duty members. Get a chance to get this for free song. Include the lincoln description this podcast episodes. They can tap over there and get in on the deal. And i i love bringing the veterans on the podcast as well as on the show here. So i always love to hear their father who journeys as well because they sacrifice so much for so many of us and bring it back into you as a dad here brian. Now my i have four kids myself. My only girl is sick. She's my youngest and she's quite a ways away. Thank god yet from hitting that Scene where she gets introduced to peer pressure drugs alcohol and dating. You've been there and done that. How did you handle it when your kids got old enough to start hitting that. Dating scene can play by play eighteen and twenty so it was still. I can't say of experienced through it. They do their thing. It's like any other challenge. How you get along with school. I get along with your relationship. I get along with your coach so you play day or do you want to be open enough to give him their privacy at the same time to be there as a resource. So that's that's the thing you gotta give him some room and kind of feel your way through this. I just think it when they get older. You wanna be trust me enough to give them their privacy but also know that they're not on their own yet so you know i'm not saying i have the book on it but a monkey to have two very mature daughters who understand disappointed and values and ethics. Yeah very cool. Obviously this last year everybody got life got kinda turned upside down with the pandemic and the covert. How did that work out with you and what you do when you're able to spend more time with your family or because of all the news cycles picking up you. Did you have less time with your family. I know a lot of families had a chance to re-engage because they were traveling as much. How did it work out for you well to work. Every single day wasn't on in manhattan for about two or three months. Now going back to manhattan again. But i didn't have the shoots. They had and i didn't have the events so you're not doing speeches. You're not going texas on every saturday or over to florida. So i was. I probably have more time definitely have more time than usual but probably worked more than most people. Because there's just more opportunity and there's no sense of there's nowhere to go go out to eat for six months so if you're gonna to be if you're gonna if you're gonna be going to work you try to get the most out of the day you need to be on the five obedience you meet me at seven o'clock of either fill in for laura ingraham. I can do it and being that when the studio about fifteen minutes from my house as opposed to an hour we just go down and host the five from the neighboring town. Pretty interesting And there was a lot of competition so you go with your family do stuff but at the same time you know. There's not a lotta resh opportunities. Yeah good stuff and obviously father's day's right around the corner here. What are what is the. What is the perfect father's day kind of look like for you cut was aker games. Go out to dinner. The having to work out between maybe get a run in and that's That's fine with me. Hopefully the weather cooperates stuff. I'm with you on that. And obviously you bet you. You're in the middle of writing your seven-book book here. What other kinds of projects our goals you have you yourself at a future wife loves to turn these books into movies in one script is already been written. It was all set to go on the history channel and then the bottom fell out of their budget..

"Me now first class father. Brian kilmeade welcome to first-class fatherhood. Hey thanks for having me. Let's start right here. How many kids do you have. How old are Three twenty four. We have twenty and eighteen. Alright yeah these are going to get a lot easier to go long hair now. What kind what kind of sports or activities with the kids into growing up. Well i think My son was playing the playing soccer all the way through high school. Pretty high level does it couldn't play it didn't wanna play at syracuse and played basketball as well in baseball. My daughter's playing soccer in college right now. she's soft. We're gonna be junior next year. The other ones who senior in high school playing soccer. They both play basketball to sophomores in high school and decided just to focus on soccer after that very cool. Did you get a chance to coach at all. Did you enjoy watching that stuff from the sideline coastal three them for a brief period. Time my son i coached. Some friendly was five all the way to. Who's eighteen to did all the soccer basketball but mostly soccer if you could just take one second here to hit my listeners. A little bit about your background and what you do what i do on a daily basis I host fox and friends goes fox and from six tonight. And then i go and host. The brian kilmeade radio show from nine to noon. Zabel to write a midst of my seventh book which can only in november the first. Two were sportsbooks It's a games. Do count anti play the game and then i read george watson secret. Six thomas jefferson the tripoli pirates andrew jackson the miracle of new orleans sam houston and the alamo avengers and now we have Coming out in november third will be the president of the freedom fighter. How abraham lincoln and frederick douglass wartime friendship. Tell save america's soul so was able to do that. I fill in all over the channel. It had been doing that since nineteen ninety-seven you've always very busy broad. You've been crushing it along your career here so along this journey that about. How old were you when you first became. A dad had becoming a father. Kind of change your perspective on life Thirty thirty one thirty thirty one thirty two and i just think I had a good perspective. It was never called to caught up in myself. But the one thing is you just make your focus. It's almost it just makes everything Very it's they come first and everything else comes second. And that's in your mind. Everything else us work around that work your way backwards. So if The the good thing about doing a morning show and and doing the radio show and be done at noon. Is i could if i had to pick them up from school. I could do the practice at four o'clock in the afternoon. I'm not commuting at five game home at seven thirty and then hoping to catch you know maybe the second half of game or just across things out during the week back to school nights and everything. I don't think i've missed more than one. And so it's just been becomes your focus from day. One very well said brian. I know obviously you just mentioned the books that you've written there. I'm a big reader myself. I've tried to always encourage my kids to renew your kids. Big readers have. They had an opportunity to read your books. I i'll have to ask them. I mean they know what's going on with all of them My wife certainly does and they know that they know the deals in other storylines. But i mean they're going one hundred miles an hour. My daughter and colleges is doing a double major end playing soccer and then the same with them. They're reading my senior in high school reading nonstop and his sons two in a million things. But they know what's going on. They have essentially history center politics. But i'm not jamming it down their throats. Yeah good stuff and then what would you consider them. brian ceo. What would you say are the top values that you had hoped to instill in your kids growing up Just hard work you can be. You might not get the job. You might not get make the team. You might not be the starter. You might not be the store but don't get worked. That's my main thing. You gotta be prepared. Don't get out worked. And then you have no regrets certain things out of your control You're not gonna get some things things are going to be so called. Unfair doesn't matter. He's got out also everybody because that's the only thing you really control over. Everything else is a lot of circumstantial out of his timing. A lot of the to you know but if you prepare and you get ready Sooner or later things going to break away. Yeah well said brian then back into what you do here. I know you've written a lot and covered a lot about sports and politics as well and unfortunately it seems like a lot of that has gotten blended together here more now so than ever. Which do you prefer to cover. Personally you enjoy the sports stuff new store. I enjoy the politics which you personally enjoy better. I have no interest in covering games and you know. I wanna do things of impact. I like when sports becomes news. I like it. I mean the feature. I'd like to do now. Is this new relationship fans and athletes today appreciate each other more right now because they both couldn't have each other longest time you watching home. The ratings are down when there's an opportunity. Go you see phil mickelson. Nicholson get the crowds. He did yesterday. People don't care about sports they wouldn't be there if And they'll people say they don't care about the nba. We'll get the size of those crowds in the passion. We heard over the weekend. I like that But more impacted a just more involved in news now. I'm just not interested in the school right. I like to people in sports but in terms of the news ward peace and elections to me just mean a lot. More one thing. I do on initial to brian. I try to bring in dad's from all walks of life here sports politics whatever. It may be a lot of military dads as well. And i think right now. We got a father crisis going on in our country. I talk about that all the time we got so many kids are growing up without a father or father figure in your life and it's having a devastating result on our community and so i think it's cool that we get a chance to see these players are these politicians get an opportunity to share their family journey their father who journeys through their social media. We get a chance to see them as more than just the athlete. The actor the politician and it gives us a little bit more of an insight into their fatherhood journey as well. Yeah i mean the first time a lot of these these situations in the inner city happens. These kids have gone the wrong direction. I disciplined again cops so cops bad guys. They're like the only thing separating total anarchy gives him giving a lot of these kids essential boundaries. So whether they overreact sometimes under react other times the other way regardless cops should be the last line of discipline and in many cases there the first and now they're taking the brunt of the blame when a lot of it's the family structure. I you know you could have nuclear family and you can have terrible. Parents disinterested bad or alcoholics drug addicts. Whatever it is. I understand that it'd be bad families like everything else. But at least there was a family structure with spire to say. I don't want to do that. I want to be battling this. But unfortunately that's not happening over and over again and you know the thing is to the people think fathers replaced. I really don't think they can. Yeah i couldn't agree with you more. And yes i agree with you there too. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have a nuclear family. You're guaranteed success in life but when you look at the statistics. Ninety percent of homeless kids out there they're coming from fatah's households and and those that just explain through all the way through teenage pregnancy teenage drug use. And you know if you see a neighborhood with that high teenage crime rate. You'll see a neighborhood with a high absentee father rate as well so it all correlates then speaking on that about discipline. What type of disciplinarian where you brian. As a kid growing up and is that different than the disciplined. Saudi grew up.

"Listen Brian Kilmeade good morning to you merry Walter sitting in for Brian Kilmeade brown I believe sometime next week is going to join me it's eight six six four zero eight seven six six nine I interesting piece in the daily beast by Matt Lewis and he talks about traditions American traditions and and in your family traditions I said you know traditions for the most part require a lot of work in their pain in the **** right thanksgiving think of what we go through for thanksgiving the most traveled holiday in America why because we have to go home to family and when you get there most people fight most I have to go home and we we we grumbling week right but we do it because it's tradition and you serve the Turkey because it's tradition is a traditional meal my grandparents came to this country my grandmother my German grandmother insisted on hosting thanksgiving dinner because she felt that made her an American and that was important to her and she will cook a traditional American meal and she was not good at it she was far better cooking German food we always want to German food but she insisted on making American food really is the Turkey was dried initiatives were terrible she was serve creamed onions that nobody would eat and instead of like the the cranberry sauce and enhance insist on making like real cranberry sauce that nobody would eat but it was her her was so important to her doctorate dition made her an American and it's so much easier to just pull a tree out of a box that's already decorated the decorating a tree with your kids or going out and cutting down a tree or picking a real tree out of the fire department or wherever you get your tree and bringing it home and setting it up with the kids those are incredible memories from my childhood and they think they're so important as Americans in the traditions of the things that bind our families together and they're the things that bind us as Americans together and when you see people going I don't have a tree and he treats so much work or a home thanksgiving I I just can't be bothered it was just so much work to do stuff you know I'm just gonna stay home by myself and you have a generation coming up and I'm not picking on the millennials because we raise them but you have a generation coming up that would prefer to just stay at home by themselves they go out with friends a rather have food delivered to their homes that actually go out and I think we are in danger of losing some of these traditions you know why I put up a Christmas tree it's just it just creates a mass and you have to put it away you're right it's a mass and it takes me two months to put the Christmas tree away input re wrap all the ornaments of but I'm away but that's what we do eight six six four news when we were both we're a blue we're both commentators on the fox news channel and and on foxnews dot com and that's how I met Allen Allen a L. and you can see her she's an extra a whole bunch of a whole bunch of other television shows and she's a comedian Ellen Kerrison she's wonderful and I just had to give you plug there because you are hilarious and people should go see a thank you so much I really appreciate that I know I miss those days but we get to connect on social media which is sort of leads me to my point about your topic which I love I love this topic because I find that this Christmas season which this year is going by very quickly because of thanksgiving and Christmas being only three weeks in between and having any time on it the only time where I'm feeling like we can have some commonality why does the Christmas music the old Christmas music I'm talking about you know the Bing Crosby and all that you know it's it's so it's so it's a reminder it brings us together and certainly Mary as we get older not that were old you get older we we want to you know we want to recall that time we want to we want to have that feeling that his life is becoming very hard and it's becoming very angry and and and it's stressful and all that and he just I I find it it just brings me some calm to go into but you know to pull out those ornaments that I've had for twenty years you know use you recall where you were twenty years ago and how much simpler things are I like to write a Christmas card I know the thought I mean people think I'm not don't send me an email Christmas card I don't think any card with it in an email I find that like so impersonal I use them to decorate my apartment so I think it like you said before you know it connects you the traditions I'm Greek we do big fat Greek Easter it slammed it busty chill it you know we love to do it and it it once a year and it's not that big of a deal and you know what even though you grumble when you're when you're sitting in the traffic and I'm on the FDR drive but you know what when you get there and you're in it you're happy and you don't sort of you know if you sort of forget that too even with the you know argumentative relative which I have a number of errors it's good it's good for comedy it is an eight for comedy especially and also the the whole bit was Christmas cards that's a tradition is dying no my for my husband I we always sent our Christmas cards and I sit and I hand write them now with my with the job that I currently have you know working a I I commute back and forth from Washington DC back home and and and so so I have a crazy life I'm in the swamp in and my days are twenty four seven and I'm up at three o'clock tomorrow I don't have time so I'm done Christmas cards last couple years so what we decided to do this year is we have a picture we're gonna use but we're gonna printer cards out in June of twenty twenty using a picture from twenty nineteen and that gives me like six months to write the card so I can get out I'm with you do not send a Christmas card by email that doesn't count do not have it automatically signed if you can't sign the card really don't bother but it but I think that they mean something P. I get to hear from people I haven't heard from in awhile and and it's really nice to be remembered I think that those things are important I can't disagree with anything you said and I know about your family and I and I know how traditional you all are but those are traditions that you celebrate to have survived hundreds of years these are Greek traditions that dates so far back how sad would it be if if they weren't being continued because it's it's a lineage it's a line that could that connects you to all of your ancestors and those are things that I think are super important to society and to to your heritage into your family Ellen it was great to talk to my friend have a great Christmas merry Christmas although I know you celebrate Greek.

"Your guns are not fighting this battle anymore. They give their word but they go back on their word. And there is William Barret Travis. there is some other great Americans there and they're going to fortify the Ford and keep it Sam. You just don't stay. We don't need to be caught up in one unit. We don't need this area. Let's move out so he sends in Jim Bowie. He's his Jim. Tell these guys to leave. They'll listen to you. And he goes back and cut to deal with the Cherokee and all these Indian tribes to stay out of the battle and then he goes back there. I Declaration of independence. When bully gets there? There he sees this place thriving he that sets a commodity. They had to early victories. He goes who's GONNA stop us. We're Texans we're Americans we're fighting for freedom we got the right thing on our side. Income said he was to crush this thing right away he brings in three thousand guys. It makes around the place and we back. Travis is trying to get some reinforcements. No no one's coming so he writes famous letters. Listen we need some help but if not we're GONNA fight to the debt victory or death and these eloquent letters setup this mythical quality about about this battle they lasted thirteen days. One hundred eighty guys killed over a thousand Mexicans some of their elite troops and by the time they say storm in and they breached the walls also they kill everybody including Davy Crockett Jim. Bowie William Barret Travis. Shot in the head. Burn all the bodies and instead of Santana's thinks it's his victory because he killed these stamos Americans. Well what do Americans do when push. They're not GONNA get intimidated. They fight and he would shape the battlefield. And that's what I was shaped the battlefield the rest of the way. Yeah matter of fact I know one of the interesting portions of the book is the whole story behind these great Americans Jim Bowie and Davy Crockett. Who was only forty nine when he when he when he when he perished there at the Alamo? And it's interesting. You say you you would think it would have the opposite effect. I think Santa Atta overestimated this this American hero or this frontiers woman. Davy Crockett the death of Davy. Crockett right you'd think it would be a morale killer. But this eventually motivates the the Texans to fight back and leads to what you described further in the book your eventual defeat of Santa Anna's army and not only that it's the battle of Sanjin. Tinto oh I find the exact tree which is now known as the witch way Trae so you have to tell the toughest people on the planet who don't like discipline to retreat. Because he knows Sam Houston knows those. I got one fight win or lose. It's going to one fight and I got to win. So we've got a retreat. Trainers guys retreat. Trainers guys gather more people. Keep their morale up at the same time knowing. He's basically the only one with military experience. None of these guys have even shot a man before so they just oh they are tough and motivated and they have to move their families with them. It's called the runaway scrape. We find and you see it in the special and you could find it online. I put the bees which way tree that Sam Houston stood in front of an this branches. Inches one points towards the American border one points toward San Jacinto and they go to Stanton Sinto. He says we're GONNA fight and they go and they're still outnumbered basically to one and and they look across in their Santa and his army and they think they're gonNA fight the next day but when they don't get up early and fight everyone thinks well what's going on. Well he gets up at ten opened up a tent. They have a war council meeting at twelve. He goes you know what we're fighting today. We're fighting today. They usually need a day like you. Don't fight unless you can find all day. There's no night vision glasses. So people realize he doesn't think they're fighting. So these guys had marched all night to face him Houston they were actually sleeping so the slight incline and tall grass they charge in a formation that he had learned through his military training under Andrew Jackson. And by the time. The Mexican realize what's happening. There defeated eighteen minutes. They're wiped out in two hours. The next day they captured Santa Anna and instead of killing them a hanging them from the highest tree. They they were in this camp. They opened up his trunk on his letterhead. I need you tell the reinforcements a turnaround. They do the next says is on this sign over Texas. He'll listen. I'm the deposed leader. No one's gonNA listen to me. Go sign over handed over. So they go and they meet and they have a declaration depends they have a constitution. They hold onto Santana for a few more months in Texas becomes. It's own country for nine years. Not Easy always. Perilous Mexicans WANNA revenge. The border was always chaos like it is today but this time they were looking to penetrate. Didn't fight again for a while. Look like we're going to sign over with the British. The Texans going to sign over the British because Americans were waiting too long to annex. So all this happened in a matter a month from from alternate humiliation and relation to ultimate victory. It's Engi- Indo and we even have some reunion pictures of the the battle and it's kind of exciting for us because now I actually can use photos in the book and you said if instead of a good sketch you know it Sam. Houston look like you know you know Travis look like you know at Davy. Crockett look quake. So I mean to me. It's it's all thing I just find fascinating. Yes that's kind of hard The pictures George Washington and the secret six the vote I I I think the only picture we have is of dolley Madison. Then she must have been like eighty of the Founding Johny fathers in their spouses. I think that's the only one that exists craziest sea Andrew Jackson you know. He's his last year as life. It looks like he's lost all his teeth but that's what he looked like. You know folks you can get this all and Brian's new book Bryant One final question for you Brian. Kilmeade New Book Sam. Houston and the Alamo avengers. For this incredible story you can also pick up. Andrew Andrew Jackson the Miracle New Orleans which leads me to my final question. I know you got to run you kind of addresses in a book. The Relationship Between Sam Houston Andrew Jackson which was a little bit complicated was not. Yeah I mean a couple of things I think one of the one of the paraphrase is if I can from Andrew Jackson About Sam Houston he goes he never misses an opportunity to shoot himself in the foot foot so He had unbelievable courage. And he's a big guy six four back then. It's like six eight Andrew Jackson so a lot of himself in him and open up the book on purpose because my favorite movies of all time of the rocky movies. And we're very simple person and I love when he would flash back with the previous fight from rocky wanted to Iraqi two and two to three and four to five and everything. So I'm able to flash back to eighteen fourteen battle of horseshoe bend where this Will this officer fighting under Andrew Jackson S to to go against the Creek Indians. Tough gets and they gotTA finish them off in one night so Sam Houston leading the charge. Get shot three times I think it's an Arrow into the Cy So he gets shot and with the Arrow in his thigh. He's bleeding out so they pull it out turn kid. He's in Sick Bay. The nights falling rolling Jackson needs some help he goes who here can fight and using it up again and get shot again. He Fights Jack. Who is this madman? They don't even. These survived the night and when they saw that we've let in them and the next day he survived and the next day you survive. They send them home. He lost fifty pounds. And then you get a commission and each see Washington Ashington burned to the ground. He learns two things. Courage has got to be calculated and learns that are or how fragile democracy in our country is and for Jackson he would take him under his wing For the rest of his life and lead him towards the governorship. The Congress in Governorship Tennessee. They would sit on his porch. And James K Paulk in in prison Buchanan and Martin Van Buren Future Presidents in Houston used to try to solve the world's problems they always would come back to Texas. How the hell did we give up Texas without satified we gotta get taxes and just lays the groundwork for what would be the battle of eighteen thirty six? And he's had so many ups and downs in this thing Dan. Most people listening. Don't do things they regret. Most people listening grow as a person. And that's what you have in Houston drank too much woman is burst. Marriage ruined With the Indians nothing wrong with that he became the first American Indian advocate of high profile. Ever and you live with them on and off a Cherokee who is his ability the entrust within that community that allow them to actually even fight in Texas and not have to fight on two fronts and the thing is he drank too much and You know we embarrassed himself a few times times but then he meets a woman he stops drinking. He has nine kids and he had the guts to say to The people of Texas do not join the confederacy. We we have to keep his union together and when they voted him he quit and when Lincoln contacted the many teams fifty six eighteen sixty. We should run for president fifty six but we didn't. We gets it if you WANNA fight and get taxes back. I'll give you people. And he said to the president you know I. I'm I'm not young anymore. He goes if it was twenty years ago. I would have done it but but I gotta just wait this one out and you know. He was about the Union I. That's Jackson. And he made mistakes. He was mentored by a lot of great people. He was a young man and he was a bad farmer and a bad clerk. He was a bad student that just basically started. Being harassed went live with the Cherokees and then signed up for the military Andrew Jackson and changes ages life and I think people can relate to these top stories. You know maybe you don't maybe the for some reason you resonate with your parents but you need a mentor and it just changes the direction of your life. Redemption stories ever agreed. "Or than the president. I'm not all I'm going to say. Is I prepare. It's not a matter of me rooting for the giants or jets. Or you know this is what I think I talked to. If I WANNA no no security stuff I talk about you. If no one can. Unwind would happen leading up to this whole mother report better than you. So then I'll go talk to Papadopoulos. I will talk. Talk to Carter page. I'll try to find out the players involved so what I did over the last years is i. Don't just interview these people. I get their cell numbers and I talked to him so I know I know Stanley McChrystal. I know portrays. I'm not saying that my friends. I don't even know if they like me but they give me enough to the time of the day to unwind with this threat is and what's going on when the tactics are wrong prior to the surge working I would talk to McCain on and off line. I talked to Lindsey Graham on and off line. I talked to people like mcraven does not like the president. I talked to like general Keane. Who does like the president and when they coincide and they tell us the threat is real and we'd do the exact wrong thing? I am not going to hop on television and Sabin President watching and he has so many enemies. I am going to not tell the truth. How can I possibly be in our interest to pull out Syria when leave Isis in Isis? Worst of the worst in prisons unguarded and turn them over to the Turks or leave Leave the Kurds abandoned. If you WANNA get out I get it but there's a way to do it. You graduate out you. We've in the NATO soldiers you wait for the summer. That's coming up next week. You you inform our allies. His willingness to get out is great. And it's pure but how you do. It has everything to do with the next attack on America and listen there. was these guys knife getting knifed to breath today in London. You know there's going to be people attacked again. And would you gotTa do is. You can't eliminate all the threat but you have to put your thumb on these people you turn around around to the American people explain what we're doing explain where the money is and let us know with a thousand people how effective those thousand are and they're not fighting eating every day they're advising and they are plotting and planning and arming and the intelligence they get is keeping us safe here because unwinding pots there. I'm not telling you anything new the two of I hop on the air and I find out Sunday a call with Erta one. He's pulling out and didn't even tell the secretary of defense. I can't pretend like that's a good move on the other. Hand his what. He's done with the economy. What he's done bolstering? Seven hundred and seventy billion dollars for a military theory reversing himself and not Signing off on the Taliban in Afghanistan Afghanistan all those are positives. But it doesn't mean I can back them on Syria and to tell you the truth putting six guys back in to protect the oil shows. They I think that my theory is correct that leaving everything to Iran and Turkey and Russia for for no good reason our guys we had more guys died at Camp Pendleton in the last year in the last three years in Syria So that's what I'm saying Dan. It's like want the I'm about the country I I as much as I'm pulling for the president and I'm pulling for I mean there are things that Barack Obama was doing. They were great. My brother's keeper with fantastic speech on race two or three times times especially if the The his reverend came out and said those ridiculous things was extremely strong. I appreciate his presentation in his charisma. I just don't like his domestic mystic in foreign policy overall but doesn't mean I hate him and I'm not pulling for him. I'm WHO and for the president every day but I'm for our country I the understand and I have some disagreements with you on that too on the policy but I get it and I respect that it matters to you and it matters to you a lot. I watched Fox and friends. I'm not just a guest on and se your passion. And I think by introspects one final question before we get to the book again. We're talking to Brian. kilmeade the author of this terrific book right here Sam. Houston and the Alamo vendors. Go pick this up. This will open your eyes. We'll get to the book and it said just one final kind of lighter note question. Whatever I do book signings? I get this question a lot about you. I've actually told you this in person Jason but my audience may WanNa know. Do you ever sleep. I mean five friends. You'll probably there. At what four. Thirty five o'clock probably earlier. Who knows already? There are three forty five figures. I felt if he's I'm never there when you're there and then you go into a radio show and then you do your Fox nation specials and then you to do book signings. I'm not kidding when I tell you this I get this question. If there's one hundred people at a at a book signing hundred people three or four or five will ask me this this kilmeade ever sleep. Do you ever get tired and do you take weekends off Well I've been off. This is why book tour and we're putting together a pretty impressive live Series of appearances in places that matter most and that means outside New York Washington in Los Angeles. So but I don't sleep enough no doubt about got it. That's my one weakness I'd be. I mean all honest. I think the question is is a compliment. Because I know this Dan. I've I've up until I got this job at Fox. It took me twelve years to have this type of gradual success and I know could go away tomorrow and this is for me not work I. It's it I I am so passionate about it. I'd be the IB the most well informed Deli guy in the world of the most annoying waiter. Because this is what I'm passionate about and for some reason I've I've had a chance to do this for a living and when they come up to you and say we let we want you to do the series. What made America Great I say? Of course I'll do it and I don't I don't say how much you're what we work. Work it out and what they say you know this radio. Tony snow onto the White House. Do you want to take over the show. You got an hour of course I want to do that. And then when they when they say you know when I had this George Washington secret six idea and I show some people. It took me a couple of years and we finally get sold and that book does well and they would you like to do another. And I'm thinking to myself yeah And we'd like to do another. I go okay give me two years. Yeah and then now now on four history books so and and I show up and at the Alamo Komo and I think for what makes America and I'm like Oh my goodness i. Everyone in Texas knows the story so well how do I make it different. And when these experts walked up to me and say no one really tells the whole story sorry of what led to it and then what happened after the Alamo. Why the Alamo matters and then what about the remarkable victory I said okay? Let me tell the Alamo Story Ori for Fox nation. But what if the whole book is everything like would if it's the whole Texas Revolution Sixty years after our first I would doing it again for the exact same reason you know. It's interesting in the book I know most Americans are obviously familiar with the contours of the Alamo Story. Many in very deep detail. Most Texans are but just quickly if you could explain the odds here. Sometimes people don't understand what happened. That the Alamo in the massacre over this this visit this twelve days as you want your chapters at twelve days of of of indecision here the what how the odds stacked against these these these warriors warriors at the Alamo fighting for independence there. The odds were just overwhelming Santa. At Army this was one of the one of the most powerful alarmed at the time. Was it not. Yeah and they're organized and they have experienced and they got experience for total victory under this theory that the way to win is to kill everybody everybody and do something horrific with their bodies like you burn and you say everybody neighboring town spread the word. This is what happens to you if there's an uprising and you know they were put the black flag and they'd go no quarter you're dead and you fight to the death victory death and and essentially when can we cut a deal. Just give you a sense of what goes on because people are gonNA push back on this and say we still Texas. We never told Texas. We had it in Louisiana purchase. This horrible person named Thomas Jefferson Andrew. Andrew Jackson both were convinced of it. So we do this Otis atoms agreement. We say we'll take Florida. You take taxes Spain and Jackson was beside himself so as Jefferson. He goes you kidding me. We had Florida. They were GONNA leave anyway. They can't stop us. Why are you giving them taxes? Sure enough they can't populate it so it by eighteen hundred. There's nobody there. It's full of Comanche. Apaches and there's not enough people in what we now know is Mexico and Central America to populate it so Moses Austin. The father of Stephen F. Austin comes down. He's talking to remake himself. Everyone was going bankrupt back then. I mean it's unbelievable. You have everything and lose everything. No social safety net. Obviously so Moses Austin goes and cut have to deal says listen if I bring your family's here what kind of deal could you come. And they go. Yeah you could bring 'em no tax for ten years. They gotta be Catholic and they got to adhere to our rules and the rules are basically the constitution that they're fine with so they bring in three hundred families and these families are clearing land. They're starting to form towns and that's exactly what Spain wanted L.. Spain loses their their their colony and Mexico becomes its own country so most of the Stephen F. Austin takes over his dad died and he goes just WanNa make sure are we still got that deal and they go no problem. Income income sat down and goes. Yeah we're throwing out that whole freedom and liberty thing so you guys. We're going to send governors and mayors. We're GONNA control throw you. Well how do you think. Texans responded to that. They've had a thriving community. We're doing everything they're supposed to do. People coming down for second chances for new opportunities running running from the law and they start going. Excuse me we're not giving up freedom and liberty and one of the quotes avenue book is Santana says for hundred people will not be ready for freedom and liberty for hundreds of years. Well don't tell that to us. We just fought a war for it. And we're GONNA Ford fought the fight another one. After some early victories Cham- Houston comes in. He's perfectly qualified to do. This says guys calm down. Let's former army. We've got a backup. Bread Constitution Declaration of independence. Or guys. Just go in. And they take the Alamo and they take a standing army generally and they used force some right out and they they basically instead of killing them. He says he's promised me. Lay down..

"Brian Kilmeade from Fox and friends. Check it out all right. I'm really excited to have our third interview. Our guest here a good friend of mine. Brian Kilmeade did you probably all know him. I'm sure most of you do from Fox and friends Brian. Thanks a lot for joining us. I really appreciate it. Yeah Dan a few guys who could take me to fight at Fox Fox News so I had no choice but to submit your request. Yeah I'm not sure I've heard you got Ninja. Like stealth moves that. You're keeping on the sideline effort debate guys like me and so I'm not buying speed to evade your power. That's that's right that's right right. It's like that last rocky movie. When he gets in the ring versus Antonio Tarver they tell them? Listen It's all about power rock. You're too old too old for this speech and that's me you know that's all power no study okay. We won't have to. We would have to drop it. We you won't have to drop the gloves and go at it now. But I can't hit you with your book which I'm playing. They are posted here on YouTube YouTube dot com slash Bongino. Brian Kilmeade new book. An an amazing book as well as other books are Sam Houston and the Alamo ventures. We put a graphic up on the screen throughout the interview. Brian before we get to the book. I've got a ton of questions on that you really tell. Tell the Alamo story and just an amazing way I mean this is one of the iconic American stories. Couple things about you my listeners know they see one fox and friends every morning but interesting story. Man I'm I'm grappling one day one of my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes and the instructors guy. Harlan really good guy comes up to me and he says you know. I Love Brian Kilmeade. I said Yeah. He's great. He does a great job on Fox deficiencies Nice Guy and he goes interesting fact about Brian he says. Did you know he was one of the announcers for what the original ultimate fighting championships Bryant. I I swear to. I said come on. Harlan cut the craft. Even funny he goes. I'm not kidding. Go to YouTube. Is this true where you wanted the originals and the UFC. Yeah I did the first four and I did play by play on the second or third one because the other because the play by play guy throws and he just couldn't do it so they asked me to step in and then kind of takeover. I I was in Los A- I was doing standup. You believe it or not for ten years and some of the people I met in. Stand up in New York Well I moved out to Los Angeles. This guy closed up and he said you know I worked for promotion firm full-time. You're the only guy no no sports when you coming home. I said Thanksgiving he goes all right. Yeah I guess it can wait go why what's up because I got something. It's really hard to describe high. What the Hell so the Friday? After thanksgiving I go into Manhattan. I meet these guys and their music promoters and semaphore and he. This guy says to me watch this and he goes. This is happening in Brazil. Right now you see the guy in the bottom. Oh Oh yeah. He's actually winning and watch. It goes on and on and you see the reversal the Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Then you see the fights on the beach but I saw all Jitsu very few mixed martial arts he goes. WELL WE WANNA do is put Great Jitsu against the rest of the world improve its lethal and the only way to glues is get knocked out choked doubt. I Oh wow as he where you think I go well I go. It sounds crazy as we want to promote it as someone can die tonight I go. Are you crazy. You can't promote both that. Someone can die so you months later I get a call and they say we're doing it. We want you to be part of the broadcast and I go all right. Fine and and I'll be around the octagon. What is an octagon so they go? We'll show you John. Milius designed it the apocalypse now producer. So right and do you have anybody to do who play by the color and I said well my partner in radio is Jim Brown and he did his eye ear fight. Foreman Ali's a bunch of fights so he goes. Can you ask him so I the gym. Would you do this. and Jim named his price. They matched it. They're gonNA fly and we flew out to Denver. Did you have any idea at the time it was gonNA turn into to this multibillion dollar enterprise at night Brian. You re you were part of this now but to remind their earnings that change martial-arts forever trevor priority add. Everybody thought you went to a karate school and you were instantly a great fighter and I'm not knocking karate. It certainly has benefits but after that night people found out there were a whole a lot of flaws in the martial arts game people claim to be the be all end all who is fascinating. Because I like to study but there was nothing study so I just watch these guys trained separately uh-huh and thinking to myself. He looked stronger. I guess he'll win but he's not as quick and Anu quick became clear that ninety five percent of fights or one on the ground. And if you can't grapple bowl you can't win and view if you can punch you need to punch but they gotta be sure punches and we saw these guys come on you guys can watch the first few the karate guys come out and they're and they're trying to line up a cake and they just get taken down even though the guys can cake few blows taken down and they don't know what they're doing on the ground they don't have any idea what they're doing then wrestlers Louis started to excel in it and grade. You Watch the guy. They fight four or five times a night to win the championship. You had to win. At least three maybe four matches so you watch a hundred originated power guide fight two hundred and fifty pound guys three of them and win at the end and by the end toys Gracie was Kinda really beat up and I forgot. who was was Chemo Chemo? He grabbed his. He'll yeah chemo is you have see. I think three and he grabbed his hair and he eventually submitted a but that would chemo August. Run for his money by take away from this was the top for you are the more docile and self confident you are you. You don't even know these guys are lethal and they could win and they're so they were the nicest guys I go into second. You know the tough guys who can crush you. It becomes so obvious they told you in grammar school. If you really tough you don't have to act it and these guys walked around so humble. They did it they nobody was doing this for a living. The old did it because they just loved it and they wanted to test themselves and the gentlemen ship they showed. I mean the the difference to each other. I'm like man now I avenue definition of toughness. ibes I fell in love Gracie Jiu Jitsu that nine nine nine. I never turned back quickly before we get to the book moving on here. You know one of the more profound deeply instilled memories kind of tattooed on my brain from my short forty four years on this planet is obviously nine eleven. You're on the air that day. I had this conversation with Steve Doocy as well and I asked him over over dinner one time and I've been dying and I told him I wanted ask you this to. What was that like being in the studio on live television as this is happening? You just walk us through what was going through your head. What's coming in in your ear to the production thing I mean it's only the most consequential attack on American soil in American history? And you're in front of a camera. Do you even say well number one. We're watching a little bit in the break break. The local Fox feed and we see a plane hit the building and we thought it was small plane and by the time we came back and you could see air realized it was a big plane and and it was a very a very clear day and after we did it we did it for fifteen minutes. We're going back and forth feeding our ear. When the small studio that Bill O'Reilly Riley used to use smaller studio used to be a Sam goody so the tiny studio the cameraman right on top of us it literally? They will be able to handle papers on camera. Couldn't see it so we're able to wasn't everything wasn't online like it was. I mean you're talking about two thousand Obviously two thousand one. So you know. We're getting a lot of information through our year so when one person's since talking the other two of getting information and then when we get off we watch and the second plane hit and then I convinced crew because I was known mostly as a sports guy then I I give into crew to go with me downtown. I go downstairs I can you give me your crew. I WanNa go downtown and we went as far as we could and I finally get downtown town. I look around and it's like on the moon. There's nothing not white. It was like you're on another planet. All these papers were everywhere and everything is white right. And as soon as I get to the truck where Rick Leventhal was outcomes. David Lee Miller daily. Because I lost my cameraman I need you cameraman. And he was our breaking news guy and I had to give them up so my camera and met me another hour and we're able to do stand ups around nine eleven but as we're driving down down I do remember going down. Sixth Avenue Guy in short sleeved Jean Shirt From the isolated find out from the Pentagon. And we'll listen to ten ten wins. That's the local all news news station. And and then I see this guy we pull over to shoot it right down sixth avenue. Because it's the most unbelievable seeing seeing you could imagine and and this guy goes starts cursing up a storm and he said I always going on because this hit the Pentagon radio he goes I'm on. FM phone with the Pentagon they just hit the Pentagon undergone going on my would is going on here so by the time we get down we come back by the time. I'm done well all the way downtown and I sat there we They've dropped the tape off. We literally using tapes back then and I just walked sixty blocks back seventy blocks back to Fox and they said you can't go home and they've found a hotel for us and it was non-stop four hours. No commercials you be. Have someone sitting next year on the set. The woman to your left. She look can't find her brother. Her brother worked at and Leeman or whatever it was and then you turn to your left you talk and then they tell the other person okay the person on your right They were in the attack. They got out of the building. That's literally how we were doing broadcasts for the next three weeks. You know it was Krino now. I can't even imagine I mean maybe in a secret service agent at the time. Excuse me we had you guys on Fox. I mean all the time I mean we never. We never deviated from the channel after that and we were glued to the TV for just weeks after that. And I asked Steve Being on the air. When you just don't even have all the details? I mean there were reports it was a bomb and then we saw the planes and then remember all the reports coming in. They hit the White House. They hit the capital. I remember getting them in the Secret Service Office and it was just such chaos. Hey Office and it'd be on live TV and have what I mean. How do we know what the eyeballs ten million watching possibly more at the time and listening What a staggering responsibility? I'm sure that's on your brain too but I I was in Los Angeles when they hit the World Trade Center the first time I mean I'm really into as much as civilian Ken. The war on terrorism extremism. I was outlawed doing local television And the inland empire while doing all sports radio in the weekends and I was just this Bin Laden. I knew all about this guy. I read the book about this guy. Watched John Miller's interview with this guy. I forgot the name of the Pakistani reported the interview. This guy and I couldn't believe the Bill Clinton never even visited the World Trade Center after winter using the Sudan. We never even went there. They hit because we don't do anything in ninety eight they hit the embassy and I'm doing mostly sports and I'm saying to myself what the Hell is going on. Why are we ignoring this? If you look back at the Gore Bush debates they'll even bring up al Qaeda so he ninety three they said go up and in two thousand one they said go up again and meanwhile well Because if they hit the down low that was the exact. We needed the exact opposite devices. Time Brian One of the things I think people well don't know about you that I know have become friends over the years. Doing Fox's this is an inch an area of interest to you that you are deeply impacted bye and one of the things. I object strongly contributor. They're not a host like yourself is sometimes. I'll see people on twitter. They'll say with Fox. I you guys are dumb. Because it's and it's dump specific these even the conservative or people. I would say lean conservative. I'd never actually discussed with your full political ideology. But you have disagreements with the president. All the time I've heard in the morning news regarding Syria and other things and I guess my question because I get this from the audience. What is it like being on Fox and friends this show? We all know the president glues is to and some issues. You have a disagreement. I've heard you vocally speak-out especially on Syria. Which Way Oh say is?.

"Be issuing a national emergency declaration at the same time. And I've indicated down that I'm going to prepare to support the national emergency declaration. So for all of my colleagues, the president will sign the Bill, right? He's got to get one point three seven five billion from homeland security appropriations Bill six hundred million from the treasury, drug forfeiture fund. That's when they get a guy that drugs, they put into a pot. He'll take two point five billion from the defense department drug interdiction program. They were fine with that. And three point five billion from the defense department military construction budget. I talked to Mitch McConnell last night. And he says we've been looking at this for the last three months. This is all okay with the Pentagon. All okay with all the other all the other entities. Those people panicking saying this is going to change the world as we know it since nineteen seventy. When they had these emergency action powers to the president has been done. Fifty eight time seventeen by Bill Clinton, twelve by Barack Obama. Cut five Senator John Kennedy the president. Feels very strong. We have a across the border. I agree with him. It's not my preferred choice, but I don't think the world's going to spin off its taxes. Right. But we don't tell that to Nancy Pelosi cut for the president can declare an emergency on something that he has created as an emergency. And. Allusion that he wants to convey just think of what a president with different values can present to the American people want to talk about a national emergency. Let's talk about today the one year anniversary of another manifestation at the epidemic of gun violence in America. That's a national emergency. Why don't you declare that emergency? Mr president. I wish you would. But a democratic president can do that democratic president can declare emergencies as well. No you can't because it's a it's a amendment the second amendment. I already looked into that talk to constitutional experts that would apply so he had to take everybody's guns. Is that gonna work? Good luck. As you go into Texas and start knocking on people's doors. So that's a that's a totally false argument. And contrast. Nancy Pelosi has to realize with Democrats have to understand is with the president United States. You have a billionaire brawler Nancy Pelosi felt as though of cheap pinned down on the present. I'd say she did Nancy Pelosi chose not to negotiate that surprise, the president wasn't Nike lots of negotiation. She would not come to the table. But the president also hit back which you want to travel. He took his plane back then he has and did what she said in doing this by bicameral bipartisan seventeen person a conference fine. And we get that result. Looks like Nancy Pelosi one. And now he goes ahead with the national emergency. So he gets eight billion even more than the five point seven. What do you think when we come back Admiral James star Vitas will be with us? And then Mark Stein at the bottom of the hour, and we're going to be weaving in some calls throughout the day. Again, anti became speaking up. This is a keep in mind. He was a deputy director of the FBI then acting director of the FBI. He is a disgrace. He was working. Thing with James Comey, and with others to really overthrow the president of the United States because maybe sincere or not he believes he was he was actually compromised by Vladimir Putin the evidence he has will two years in. And I don't see it. Maybe bowlers got some magic thing if it was a magic magic collusion conspiracy. Do you think he would have waited two years to tell us about it any McCabe was the attorney the inspector general looked at any McCabe and said I want to offer a criminal referral in two days before he was going to retire. The president fired him stopping him from getting his pension. He's got an ax to grind not only was the president with rod Rosenstein because basically one of them's lying and with James Komi because they don't agree either. One of them's lying what them sorted out. Three bad guys. Brian Kilmeade, you Brian Kilmeade. Now. Now, the three big things you need three new tonight special counsel. "Brian Kilmeade on news ninety six point five WDBO, my belief that I did not wear that costume or attend that party stamps in part from my clear memory of other mistakes, I made in the same period of my life that same year I did participate in a dance contest in San Antonio in which I darkened my face as part of a Michael Jackson costume. I look back now and regret that I did not understand the harmful legacy of an action. Like that. Because my memory of that episode is so vivid that I truly do not believe I'm in the picture in my yearbook. I am I cannot believe where this place, but that is the governor of Texas north and now you have the Lieutenant governor of Texas, excuse me. And then you have the Lieutenant governor involved in a sexual assault accusation, which he denies it happened years ago, and and he now claims that the governor's people brought out this story because they don't wanna make him to see a viable return alternative. Should the governor resign? So to make sense of it all if it's at all possible, Colonel Allen west Kamala, Harris, Joe Biden, it just about everybody's calling for the democratic governor resigned, including Terry McAuliffe. Go resigned. David extra go resigned. Republicans for the most part have not Colonel west where do you stand with all this? And are you shocked at these series of events Friday, Saturday apology Saturday Friday apologizes for doing it Saturday says it wasn't him and he wants to keep his job. Bryant is good to be with you. And I have to tell you that this kabuki theatre is absolutely absurd. I find govern Dawson's comments to be truly disingenuous offensive in it salting, personal foremost. Why would you need to put black face on? If you're going to imitate, Michael Jackson. He wasn't exactly a black face. And the other thing as you stated the governor comes out Friday of Trump's apologize for it. I mean, he's responsibility. And and the fact that those photos were reflective of of him and his medical school year. But then Saturday comes back around. So it was a bit. I remember some rap song for stuff like that. That said it wasn't me. I think that the governor needs to look at how he is losing respect is losing his integrity. He is losing any position to lead the state of Virginia. But the bigger picture is the Democrats want him gone because they can't continue to call Donald Trump a racist. They can't continue to Levy that against anyone that does not agree with their policies. When they're going to allow something like this to continue to discover the position it's a bad optic for. And that's why pick you see a lot of crafts call now. Because they they want to continue to leverage that word that accusation against someone like Donald Trump as far as I know Brian Donald Trump in black face. Yes. As far as we know who has Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldberg was his girlfriend at the time and thought it was hysterical. So I have nothing gets Ted Danson. Most of these shows are good. But it just goes to show you in the nineties that was acceptable. There was no outright. I guess it was a little bit outrage. But Ted Danson's career wasn't hurt. We'll be Goldberg at no problem Wafic. So now that doesn't work. So what do you do if you did something inappropriate in high school like cavenaugh, and that was the accusation or college or in this case medical school, where do you draw the line Colonel? Well, I think that the line is is never drawn until it can be used politically. But I think again, we have to accept responsibility for our actions. And that's what the governor seemed to have done. And maybe he should've come out and say, this is what I need to do to rectify that situation, but the comeback Saturday and try to deny it again. I I find that very disingenuous. And so my problem with this whole thing is I just wish someone would speak the truth. And now, we have the implications or the accusations being products Lieutenant governor. So we just continue to be like Allison wonderland Dicker deeper down into the whole who suffers the people Virginia right now or suffering because they're absent of leadership in principal leadership. I think in in that state really what I'm more outraged with crime is is a statement that basically sounded like infanticide the governor of north on the radio talk show. That's what really does anything else. Right. And I wonder if that has a role in all this because I read democrat when asked that question said, I didn't really hear what he said. I didn't really know what you're talking about Nancy Pelosi and others and then Terry McAuliffe was confronted with it on Sunday. And he said, no, I'm not for that. And he was the last governor of Virginia democratic governor Charlie Kirk tweeted this out what about all these presidential candidates. So you're talking about Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax, whose grandfather was a slave. And they thought there'd be a great story having takeover in Virginia. However, he's got a sexual assault allegation. Dogging him and as chilly Kirk brings up Kamala Harris since you tried to destroy Justice cavenaugh over thirty year old lies in incited a hate mob against him. Will you now Lieutenant governor Virginia to step down following a credible claim of sexual assault against him, which both sides. A he said she said, here's what just in. Fairfax says cut ten this was not the first time. This was brought up. It was a year ago. This was brought up you know..

"The Brian Kilmeade show, a news ninety six point five WDBO. Welcome back, everybody, Brian Kilmeade. Brian Kilmeade show coming away. The great AB daughter is waiting on standing by associate editor columnist for real clear. Politics contributor, XM police channel one twenty four. And this is gonna be a guy named call rove, man. We need some expertise from both these find people from what's happening in Washington, two breaking stories, and I wish they'd have to report this. But I can't say I'm surprised you. US troops reportedly been hit and casualties been suffered in Syria in the exact area where we've been occupying and virtually not under any pressure. The courage will be doing the fighting. We've been doing the advising in the logistics. Well, we were just targeted and we have at least one casualty has been confirmed. We'll give you the latest. And I think this is all part of the president's decision to in a knee jerk fashion poor troops out because it was a campaign promise. But man, we had somewhat stability in the area. And this is what I'm worried about. Next Nancy Pelosi has asked the president to reschedule his state of the union address or deliver it in writing. That's why the way it used to be policy said the partial shutdown as hamstrung, but the US secret service and the department of homeland security harming any of the security planning for this. They say she says unless they get a deal and the government back up and running this week here. It is a game on I since there might be some unrest. Listen the ranks. They could really upset the leadership on both sides. So let's get started. Now with the stories.

"This is the Brian Kilmeade show the roughly two thousand uniform soldiers that are in Syria today are going to be withdrawn that that activity is underway. How we're going to do. So in an orderly deliberate way way that protects America's national security away that allows us to continue the important mission that they were on the counterterrorism mission. Are the effort to make sure that with the destruction of ISIS that only complete but that their resurgence is not possible our efforts to counter the threat from terrorism stemming from the Islamic Republic around those are all real missions, the tactical change we've made and the withdrawal of those two thousand troops is just that a tactical change mission remains the same. But we are pulling out troops and the president. Did do it without any advice? Even though that's what he ran on pulling from foreign wars. But my goodness who aren't even a combat situation with John Bolton said on the traveling. The region is hey, guys. Don't worry. It's going to be a slow withdrawal. The president tweeted out something different. Because you're worried about the Kurds who are fighting you worried about ISIS who is still there and the vacuum. That'll be left to be it would be filled by this country called Ron has other country. I believed is pronounced Russia. Michael goodwin. Tear Michael this is getting a little confusing. Well, look, I think we were talking before about the president's approach to the shutdown. This is how he governs Bryant, and it's not necessarily a bad thing. It does create problems and confusion. But I think if we keep our eye on the substance of the issue first of all if the president had secretly withdrawn the two thousand troops. Nobody would have known. We would not have. No, we don't know what exactly they're doing there. We're we're all operating on second and third hand information. What palm peyot said is the mission remains the same? And I think I take great comfort from that in part because I trust Pompeii also trust. The speech that he gave in Cairo which clearly contrasted with the speech. President Obama gave in Cairo his apology tours Pompeo talked about how the president understands the mid east and the need to work with our allies, including to get them to do more in the issue of Syria, Lebanon, Iran that so that we are not shouldering all the blame. But the mission remains suspended two thousand troops were not expensive number two had three casualties in two and a half years, and they were training, the courage who would taking more and more area. And we're doing is getting intelligence like we can never possibly pay for never gleaned from satellites and the people they will fill that vacuum are the Russians and the Iranians because the Kurds can hold it. Now. The president tweeted out today. Last night. I guess today this morning he said, I do not you said starting to look at starting the long overdue pull out from Syria while hitting the little remaining ISIS territorial caliphate hard will devastate Turkey economically. If they hit the Kurds and create a twenty miles safe zone. Likewise, we do not want the Kurds to provoke the Turkey Russia Iran in Syria. They've been the biggest beneficiaries of the one US policy of destroying ISIS in Syria. Now with the Kurds have already done is reached out to Iran who they are relations with to begin with. But didn't want to go to burnish, and they're also reaching out the Russians because they live there. And they know they can't stand up to the Turks without us. Right. Look. And this is why General Mattis resigned primarily I believe has to do with the Syria withdrawal. And also the Afghan withdrawal their reduction in Afghan troops. Look, these are complicated issues. I would argue Brian. However that. Syria. As it stands was lost under the Obama administration. No question. We are. We are now trying to Aratu Kate Islamic state as much as possible that has been successful. And there is an issue of seeding the area to Iran and to Russia. I think that is a real thing. But again, two thousand troops were not going to make the difference in that Mike Michael Goodwin wrote about the twenty twenty election and how the Democrats away to the west, but we tapped into other areas your expertise up to read him all time.
