"And shower. Remodel. Brian Harris is our editor on the combo. Afternoon news with ELISA Jaffe. I'm Rick Fancy ice. Former Seattle Seahawk. Richard Sherman is in jail today. Arrested early this morning on suspicion of burglary, domestic violence, and Cuomo's Jeff Padula has been covering looking in depth at all that's been going on with the story and joins us now. Live with the latest. So where do things stand now? Well, let's kind of reset things. This all started in the early morning hours on 5 20, where the State Patrol received a 911 call with a report of a possible drunken driver. And it turns out that that driver, which allegedly now is Richard Sherman or is found to be Richard Sherman drove through a construction site on 5. 20 ended up wrecking the car he was in and then continuing to drive on for another half a mile or so even on the rims of some of his tires before fleeing on foot. Uh, And while police in the state patrol were searching for, uh, at the time, they didn't know it was Richard Sherman. But the driver of this vehicle, then Redmond, police started getting 911 calls about someone trying to break into the home of Richard Sherman's in laws. And that's where things started to turn for the worst for Richard Sherman. Police responded to the area and attempted to arrest him. And it appears that he resisted arrest. At the point in time that he was notified that he was going to be placed under arrest is when I'll say the situation turned that's police chief Daryl Low of Redmond police and they even had to release a canine officer. Mr. Sherman physically resisted officers efforts to take him into custody. And Redmond, police. Canine was deployed to assist and gaining control of Mr Sherman now World Torp. We are told that Mr Sherman had a wound to his lower leg or ankle as a result of the canine getting him under control. Two officers were also injured in that scuffle, neither of them required Medical attention, and Richard Sherman now sits on the King County jail, Domestic violence, burglary, domestic violence. Those are part of the alleged charges that police have put in for the prosecutor. What do we know about those domestic violence, burglar or burglary? Domestic violence? Uh, the domestic violence portion of that is only because This was the home of a family member, his in laws. It wasn't file. There's a domestic violence, assault or anything like that, because he didn't assault anybody he or at least according to the report so far. And I didn't assault any family members didn't attack anyone didn't throw any punches. There was the scuffle with police. But that's why it's considered domestic violence is only because where he was trying to break in, was the home of a family member. We also understand that Michelle Esteban of the KOMO news team interviewed a woman identifying herself as the mother in law. Richard Sherman and said This is all a big misunderstanding. And that Sherman was welcome at her home. So lots still to be sorted out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, This is all still very new. It's less than 24 hours old. And so far, you know, no formal charges have been filed. Obviously, he has to be placed an arrest under probable cause. And that was the domestic violence, burglary probable cause that he was arrested under but there are also You know other potential charges such as D you why? They don't know what's going on. They're fleeing the scene of an accident. All of that remains to be seen. Come almost apocalyptic. Omo news time now, 5 50. "She's nice all right. What were you going to say? I'm sorry you're GonNa ask me a question about. I said twenty Acre Zuma's blanket something or other Rod blankenship. Yeah that's that's when I say Rob Blake and she pulled. It goes to the twenty thrown. I don't think that's his name. It's blankenship who gives a How many do I have at this at your free accuser fourth guy? But he's he gets wrapping Guy GonNA draft. I would take does briant Rodriguez so it was right about regal blanket. Show have you seen this Guy Dave whereas right through the real thick glasses didn't see that part but he's got a leg period. Oh that's cool. He's got what he lacks in eyesight. He has an in leg glasses. I think because it's been eyesight that blockers just trying to know their clear like they're they're like REC specs. Almost they wears wonder. It's not like the corona virus because you can get the I bet that's fine with a pat on the faith and you gotta get the Ice Shields to. He's worn them for years though. That's that's my point. Maybe just the regular flu. Maybe the flu is fighting off the flu. Hey we got Brian Harris coming up here in just one minute WANNA get to One other quick thing. Yeah let's just do one of these Henry Rugs Album wide receiver ran the forty in four point. Two seven seconds at the scouting combine according to Adam schefter on twitter rugs. Obviously everybody is seeing. If you could break John Ross's record came point zero five seconds short of that five eleven one eighty eight and run as a brand new sub one thirty a sub four thirty forty which is obviously really good they have. This is a guy that is being talked about as a top three receiver in the draft. Here's my problem and jeered. Smaller was actually talking on twitter about this and he kinda got called out for it. I'm a little nervous and and Mola said I besides speed. He doesn't know what Henry Rugs does. Well and then you know people chimed in on that or whatever. I'm I'm not with them that I don't think he does anything. Well this is. The Guy Actually paid attention to a lot because he was originally committed to Florida state and then he issued them for Alabama which was really frustrating. Certainly the better decision for him but I'm a little. I always get nervous because certainly there are. Guys who have speed is a great value great asset and they turn out to be great pros but I guess I'm a little bit nervous about a guy whose main quality is speed and you're talking about taking him within the top fifteen picks of the draft. I don't know if you've followed Henry rugs and know a whole lot about him right now but just sort of that philosophy of a guy who's always really really fast well that doesn't always work out in the NFL. If that's the one thing you do really good yeah I mean it's production seems to be lacking I I don't have the rest of the team stacks but if I guess I'm looking at market shares. That are just probably well below where we'd be looking at at players And when you really hyping them up you want a high market share and it just doesn't seem to me. I mean seven hundred forty one yards receiving twenty eighteen seven forty six and twenty nineteen. I'm only forty six and forty receptions respectively that those numbers unless through two thousand twenty one hundred yards. And they're not. Yeah yeah so I I. I think that those numbers just aren't GonNa now it. What if I told you that? The the two other guys that he played at why that were with him on that team. Wideout was Jerry Judy. Who's going to be a top ten? Maybe a top five overall pick and devante Robinson who stayed in the. He came back for for another year at Alabama. But who many people thought would be a first round pick this year they could add three first-round receivers. Does that give you a little bit more a little bit? I mean when you had Jarvis Landry noto vacuum they both produced quite well and so that wasn't an issue with those guys at Lsu So but nevertheless I mean it is true. I mean when you have when you have so many stars like that team knows I mean it. It does limit your prospects. Sometimes it does it does. And we'll We'll get a team to maybe the team. Just send him on bombs all the time I mean for all. I'm sure they did. Well you know what they did really well is is You know he's got about running back for a few. Of course everybody was great. Everybody's great we'll get into we'll get into that As we get our dynasty analysis going on I wanna get the best ball analysis and bringing Tonight's guests he's one more than one hundred thousand dollars. Lifetime and season long fantasy football prizes including including excuse me finishing third this past year and twelfth and twenty eighteen overall in national main event competitions. He is a self proclaimed. Fm PC best ball addict and runs the paper. Champs high-stakes Franchise please welcome into the show. Mr Brian Harris Brian. Welcome into the high stakes fantasy football. Our man going everyone very good. Yes you're coming through Great Ryan do you. Are you watch the scouting combine all very much? You Know I. I have in the past and I- overwhelm myself with that stuff from I'm so this year I said I'm not gonNA dive into it as much As as having passed just to give myself a little bit of a break I'll definitely analyze everything as it gets closer to the draft and and see where people go. Yeah I I think I'm with you. It's just it's too much information. I get overwhelmed by it too. It's it's information overload Speaking of which before we get to fantasy football information overload Brian. Can you tell the listeners? What you do for a living when you're not hundreds of thousands of dollars with the F. FCC Well you know I. I'm a business owner of a few businesses In the main one that I have is. It's a temporary staffing agency. We have like around four hundred employees or so. So I'm I'm pretty busy. But those those things Also have a franchise of United Check cashing. You've ever heard of that or not. But the check cashing franchises disappeared. You know business type stuff. That's nothing nothing too crazy. So you're hustling and business and you're hustling and fantasy football. God bless go. Yeah it is so so so far behind. You drafted nine teams The season is there anything that stood out to you? You know balking we. Don't you know we don't know what we're doing so we always like to get advice from people like yourself who are actually playing so help us. Uh Future I think things that stand out for me really just like you know a little more Jackson high chain him going you know in the first and second rounds and You know obviously with the with the history behind the big season quarterback in the follow up season usually not not being as good I I am you know I could see where people are taking them there. But I just couldn't do it and You know the temptation there but taking a quarterback that early and he's draft just just eat way to strengthen your team's court position so especially in basketball I I I've also seen wake me rookies. I think in my opinion going going early right now. With people are taking flyers. And all right Brian do you. Because you've you've done a ton of best balls over the years typically. Do you normally see that at this type? The time of year where the rookies are going way too high or does this seem like they're going even higher Maybe I'm putting more of an emphasis on not trying to do that. So maybe that's why it's an to me. I probably have done that in the past but every year. I just Kinda work at trying to get better and I know that that that taking some of these movies rookies Early right now I should say is probably you know it's a it's a gamble so I'm trying to get west riskier here as they get older So so mature. Yeah exactly. Yeah that that's what it's all about. Take less risks and you gotta grow up sometime. That's right yes Brian. So we know that you're you're not going crazy for rookies. As as maybe some of your other fellow drafters are are. Are you taking that same approach? Where you're talking about. Guys like Austin Hooper earlier where we don't know where they're GONNA end up. Do you take the same approach with free agents because these guys you kind of know what they can do. But you don't necessarily know what their new role their new offense their new coaches are going to be doing. So do you fade free agents a little bit too well right now? I don't necessarily say the agents but I kind of I don't target or certain players right now I'll turn out Just mix mix them up a little bit right now until I get more definitive thing of what's going to happen now. Think shakeout after free agency and the NFL draft when you really start to try to target on specific players. That I want Right now I I will. I will shuffle them. I'll play the game I will I will tend to take people that are free agents with with a with a a a background history right now. Over THOSE ROOKIES. That makes sense. Actually I mean it. You know they're proven players and speaking of proven players. You took David Johnson at seven. Oh one in recent best ball draft and the team. Actually you know there was some rumor for sure while possibly becoming a free agent if they were GonNa let him go or not but he's still could be become happened right yeah So did you have any Opinion how that situation resolves itself in Arizona maybe get cut or traded and Kenyan drake the free agent there too. Yeah yeah or they could drop one of these guys. Yeah well I mean that. That might have been around her too early for him right now. and that seventh-round you know considering where he's going Considering what is no But but I know that I knew that. The the quarterback runs in all drafts. Right now typically start going around eight nine so I needed a shop at either running back in that spot so I took a share him. There's third running back I figure that his contract does present a tough situations. You know for the cardinals. Obviously like to restate drake as he definitely Gained favorite favorite there. It seems to fit what they're trying to do. But I'm I'm not sure that Having that much money tied up a running back between John and it's GonNa be possible so Something's gotta give their either drake size elsewhere in Johnson. Become the defacto starter. Again with chase admits the mix or or somehow someway Johnson gets out of Arizona has a whole amount fantasy opportunity and a much more appealing situation. And if that happens get potentially shoot back up like probably into couple earlier around. I'm sure but So yeah I mean I think it was overall to too much risk. They're considering I think I already had McCaffrey or something in that draft. So I'm just trying to really feel that second running back spot up already got McCaffrey at the one on one man you just gotTa take take picks like Johnson to give everybody else a chance right. I mean at that point. It's you gotta be fair. Keep it fair but what you did. So congratulations on that. We're talking with Brian Harris here on the high stakes fantasy football hour..
