"And i lost the over and the saints panther's game. So what are your three best bets for this week I'm gonna go back to the well again. I don't think the jets are as bad as that. And i don't think denver's as good of that so give me the jets plus ten and a half. I'll take the rams plus one half as wall with without antonio brown doesn't matter to me. I think that's going to be one of the best games of the weekend. Just and the buffs have been great. Don't get me wrong. The rams defense. I just feel like box gold undefeated i feel like the rams at home getting appoint a half. They can run the football when they need to. And that'll be a big challenge against that. Buccaneers defense i dunno my gut feeling here is the rams plus one and a half and then. I'm gonna go do monday night. Or you want me to do something i have to do. Whatever you want to do is your best bet. I'm going to go dallas minus score monday night. I don't in philadelphia good but now losing graham big loss. I think refers. I don't think philadelphia's good. I think they're better than the awfulness that we expected. I think dallas is really one of the best teams in the nfc at home laying for on monday. Night football I think that's going to be too much for philadelphia so jets plus ten and a half rams plus one and a half dallas on monday night minus four. We have none of the same games. I like that. I'm gonna go with washington plus seven and a half of buffalo. I'm in on taylor anneke. I think the guy is really really really good. Defense is good. And i like it in that extra hook there on the seven and a half with buffalo. I know they're coming up that big win but if you watch them against. The dolphins dolphins lots to a that game got that was not a real game basically once that happened. So i like washington on the road raiders minus four. I'm not fully buying into the raiders. Went oh but their offense is very good. This is more of an anti dolphins pick to kobe. Brisket look like he did not belong in the nfl last week. So i will take the raiders minus four. And then i'm gonna take the niners minus three and a half against the packers. I'm not gonna be sold that everything's great with the packers. Because they beat the lion to a pathetic every year I think the niners. This is their first home. Game of the season to east coast games there. I think they will get the job. Listen if the niners are going to win this game i. it's hard to buy into them in tough division. I think this is a big game for them. I think they're gonna go all out here and again. How do the catchers pockets on there like game plan and what they're going to do against the pitcher and he steals the notes and goes back into the dugout now. A couple of things about this supposedly is someone from the bluejays. Went to get the notes back. The raise said no. I don't know venture. I think a lot of this story. Though which i love this story videos. Great the story. They'll get hurt a little bit by the fact that the next night after the rays have all the notes the blue jays beat the race right. "I'm trying to cover a spread anyway. So prevette hopefully Dominance watch the game lose. So we'll watch it was It was a fun day. Always and listen. You have a great setup there with you. The four games is a game on tv. That you have a good set-up there that's the key i since you started by mentioning our nfl sunday together. We'll we'll read some apple reviews. We'll do picks but the first train of thoughts topic i wanted to get into. We can discuss it since we started talking about the. Nfl is the taunting penalties. They seem to be there. Are one in seattle was really bad. We may have missed a couple because we watching so many games and the nfl comes out and says they're not changing anything. Ron rivera. the washington coach said you know we're trying to avoid brawls this guy this will change when it happens in the fourth quarter of a game that's close is not going to change right now early week too if it happened to the first quarter game it's going to be four. Twenty five on fox to ninety percent of country in the fourth quarter was gonna to get hit with a ridiculous timing penalty. All hell's going to break loose. They have got to do something about this. But what i don't understand you're right the way that i watch games and that we did last week it. You're not league. We're not locked into one game specifically so you're watching where the team's on field. I have not noticed the impact of these taunting penalties. Everybody's everybody's going nuts about now if it happens in a playoff game or stand alone game and it's a big deal i understand it but what what i don't understand is why it's so hard for the players to grasp it's very simple. It is the wall. Why don't we live by the rules out. I'll tell you. I disagree with that. Take from this standpoint. You can't ask these guys to go out there and play a game. That's based all on a motion and then after they make a sack or tackle for a loss or then they have to just shut it down. The human brain body doesn't work that way. It just doesn't work that way. You'll cambodia tends the whole time but then after you make a big play you have to get down to one. I mean they're the ones they're calling. I mean you can't even see you can barely see that this taunting i mean if you say something to someone now it's considered taunting. I mean that's but we're not hearing some of that stuff now. I don't have a problem with celebrating. Obviously they should be allowed celebrate. It's just taunting if you are directing at somebody personally trying to taunt him meaning get his attention and potentially starting a brawl. That would be a problem. So you're going to so if you so if you if you're a defensive if you're a linebacker.

"It was tied up and the titans declined a ten second runoff and instead took time out which gave seattle ten seconds more with the ball to go down the field. Those mistakes bother me more than saying and the announcers never mentioned it. That's lofton's got mentioned. That i report rico's very good at that stuff game so closely. I mean i've always known miss but there are a couple of times. He brought up some really good points and count is great. He's very excitable. He does a great job calling the games but lofton needed to mention that they didn't mention it at all. That bothers me more than someone getting. A guy's name wrong like that's going to happen. Again telecast god's people who love god's i'm not the you disgusting guy not against gus but i'm not necessarily the get the pom-poms out for gusts i. I would say you know when he did the tournament. It was a tie game a minute thirty. And he's saying they should foul and reggie miller is like no no no. You can't foudy crazy. I think that type of stuff sometimes happens that. Maybe don't happen. Notables that one but he makes mistakes and that's of why he's pete a little bit in his career because he could have been thursday night he'd made perfect sense for thursday night right. i get. That job made perfect sense. Because does the nfl because the nfl my want more traditional nfl generation right. Because that's what i think. I like about gusts to you. Listen you watch. Nfl all day on sunday. Then you hear him and it's totally different than anything else. You've heard and that's always a good thing i i'll let you. I don't wanna like give romo. "Well look i think number one they have to see how drew brees does this year drew brees knocks out of the park and so far. I don't think i think he's been okay. I don't think he's not. So i think the combination So there was more awareness. Four it And so that's where the audience really built itself up and this isn't going to be a one off. Who saw what. Cbs did with nickelodeon broadcast last year. we saw. Espn's been doing these mega casts for a long time turner's donham for basketball. So i you order to see more the one that i don't think you'll see is on. I don't really foresee at least in the near future. I don't think on sunday. You'll get an alternative broadcast in every game during his nuts because like ghosted teams. You're watching your teams and and in most most times on sundays right. You sit a perfectly to by monday night you know. I don't even know if that works on a sunday night. You know like i it. It really is perfect for the monday night. But i do think it is funny because twitter. Obviously everyone's so extreme and not twitter but even columnists this wave of the future. They're going to take over on that nelson. If peyton manning calls whoever it is norby williamson jimmy peta. Whoever and says. I want to do monday night. He's going to do monday night on. Espn but the issue is. He does not want to do that. That's what people need to understand. He does not wanna do seventeen games a week in a suit at the stadium and travel and all that he wants to do. And here's the thing. The nfl probably wouldn't let them do what they're doing now. The nfl if the games on let's say it was the peyton manning peyton and eli on. Espn there's no mega cast and pat magazines on their cursing. The goodell and the nfl not gonna sign up for that my right or wrong. You're right and and let's just go. Look that deal for a minute. For peyton manning i look they. It's done very well. But are like all jazz dub zooms right and do not have to leave their homes or i guess pains not literally in. His home has to drive ten minutes from his home in denver. So they're at home. They're seventeen games on the schedule. Eighteen on the espn add is the game or two and he has the pick which ones he gets to do. And i've heard some numbers. I'm not prepared to report those. But but the. But it's for millions of course multimillions and what a deal is for the manning so you can't really you know we always said at the number of times while the manning's don't do this time they're ever going to do it. This was the one though you you ten games that you get the pick a pick weeks. It'll have to be every week. It's a great deal for them and it's turned out to be a great deal for espn is waldo regardless of this. Add up It's been a great deal for us to someone. Made a point on twitter. "A man requested by many many people if you read the apple reviews even though i feel like he's on all the time he is new york post sports media columnist and reporter andrew. Marshon andrew has gone. I'm good thank you for a nice reviews. I heard on the other day. I was very nice if people keep the people more andrew marshon. And i'm like i feel like you're on like i can't ask you to come on every week coast. Can you like a sal licata. Yeah exactly gotta mix it up a good week to have you on a good week to have you on for sure. Because the manning's are dominating it seems like it. It is funny because you know. Eight hundred thousand viewers the first week while the game got sixteen million on espn abc. And then this past monday. They at one point nine million and it was still what What was the espn number this week. Like yeah yeah. Yeah so i mean there's people are like oh pietinen. Eli going to take over and i paint. Doesn't want to do it seventeen weeks so that's a whole other issue and this is part of omaha productions which that would not be the case if he did it. But let's start with this. What are your impressions. Two weeks in on. I think as you build it manning night football. Yeah so they've done well. There's no other way to put it. It's it's additive. And here's the thing i think about it. Why it works is because and we talked about this over the years in terms of monday night. Football monday night. Football is a game where i off in recent years. They haven't had the best games. So most cases your team's not in the game then if you fantasy by the time you get the monday generally speaking the games decided you might have some weeks. It might come down to that but so sorry to factors that make you really into games. Not there and you could wager on a game. That could windsor. Let's say you don't do that then. Come monday night. you're excited for it. It's kind of crappy game. What becomes more of a focus the broadcast so this is kind of a perfect complement to the regular broadcast. Because i'm not that into the game. It's alliance packers. Okay it's aaron rodgers but not a great match matchup and other hang with the manning's and i don't need a regular broadcast now. I will say for me personally. If i'm a steeler fan the steelers are on there. I don't think i'm on the manning cast. I don't think that would do it for me. I want more about the game. Be a little more focused. Whatever you think of levy greasy. And riddick i prefer that over them. Talking about random randomness getting my. O'brien like people on commenter with calming o'brien's out there doing this or whatever i guess that's daniel brian's last name it was kind of weird contact is i'm sure it's hard for fans for sure especially because obviously wwe interest introduces you to millions of pants but most of the people who know me a lot of people just call me bryant anyways so it's not too hard of a deal but but yeah so i'm sure for some people stop for me.
