"In hockey than it is in. Soccer isn't it. Am i missing something Here's another one. This is jason well blowing. A two nil lead fifty minutes to go. Isn't that much of a stretch and soccer. Losing though is a stretch well to me. That's what this say. Blow a two nil lead. I mean you blew the game so by definition you gave up three goals. So let's not get lost in the semantics goals come in bunches and soccer at least chances up players to make the chance. Chances seattle had some killers out there one thing. We should have done with us. Our subs with three remaining at the end of the game. Prevent defense can work in soccer. Really well used the suburbs to get on fresh defensive legs clog up the field and giving up three goals won't happen to goals. Maybe the way more of a stretch so he says you gotta go to your bench. More another jason jason's today there absolutely is prevent defense and soccer in the loons absolutely deployed at soccer. Still very old school in our thought. If you're the lesser team you have a lead in a big game almost every time. The team goes into a prevent to try and hold a one nil or to nothing. Victory probably works eighty percent of the time and the other twenty percent. You see what happened. Last night's exactly what happens the other team the floodgates open and it's all over too early and soccer and playing a prevent is called parking. The bus you familiar with that term brian parking. The bus is apparently the soccer cliche for that. I'm okay because our team should win went all ms mls teams are hundred percent now missing players sitting out. Even our team has people out. Tony suggests that losing to nothing lead and soccer's like blowing a twenty eight three lead at halftime in football. That sounds more real to me. Losing like that would be similar to blowing a four. nothing lead to start the third period and hockey. There you go. It's not not to nothing hockey in to nothing and soccer are not equivalent. Not even even. I know that much and he goes on rights brian and giving up the tying goal goalie pulled and then another goal in regulation to lose five to four Chad watch to know was it rigged then suggested there've been some allegations of a conspiracy. The team is relatable especially for those of us who are too stupid to possibly be sophisticated enough to understand the nuance that is related to Professional soccer and i use that term advisedly depending on the level of professional. You're talking about here or the level of the league as well. The odds of loons losing after posting a to nothing lead so late in the match is like the odds of an mlb team. Losing eighteen straight playoff games extremely unlikely suggests greens in regulation john. Soccer field is called the pitch according to kirk. We're okay calling it. "Yeah, I probably don't need to use a compression strap either and but it's a super super subtle band and it seemed to work. It's clamped up in the little drying form, but I'm not quite sure that when unclamps it. Is Not, just going to spring back exactly straight. So. But I if it does spring back straight I know there's a couple of things I can work on. Getting the air dried would letting steam longer the compression strapped there was no splintering whatsoever. So I don't think that's necessary for this Ben, but it's kind of fun to pull it back out and. Throw out my driveway and watch all this team do its thing Well nfs springs back too much. You know stick like construction even if it's curved to something that's that's truly more of like a Windsor Chair style construction. So. That's that's the exciting part because it's Kinda like well, how does the normal construction? How does it translate into that form and? How is that different? Form in term missing in terms of like steam bending in drilling in more of a Windsor based how does that affect the overall design? So that's it's fun in it's kind of scary, but it's super exciting because it's uncharted territory for me. It's a, it's a new element to to your. Did you did you soak the the would beforehand Now. We tend to remember the Games in which. That early fight leads to victory. My guess is if we did a study on the number of games in which we had an early fight. And we didn't win. We might be surprised at how often that happens as well, but we don't chronicle those because. It's not a sexy it doesn't sound good and it doesn't necessarily confirmed the notion that what energize us was the fight is it possible? What energized us was a belief that we just have to play better than them. We have to get on top of the game early and that had more to do with it. "On a bradshaw. Brian Box Boutique AF DOT COM to respond to reply to anything that we discuss. Maybe able to take some phone calls as well. The we're talking earlier about the Backpedal by the governor yesterday opening up a few more or opening up churches and places of worship to twenty five percent occupancy to expand a little bit. He's definitely doing this hesitantly. He does not feel great about this. He's doing it. I think because he's trying to listen to leaders. He's trying to give a little bit more than he originally wanted to as he writes it or is he studied yesterday to be candid. The two hundred and fifty number terrifies me but the faith community leaders have been working on this for weeks and have been incredibly thoughtful so to give you the new outlines. I think I mentioned some of them. They can open at twenty five percent capacity or twenty five percent occupancy and the social distancing part of it. I think we all know these by now. The venues must ensure minimum of six feet of physical distance between households. At Indoor Settings accuracy must not exceed twenty five percent of normal capacity is determined by the Fire Marshal with a maximum of two hundred and fifty people in a single self contained space in outdoor settings gatherings must not exceed two hundred fifty individuals saw some of the bigger churches. You're probably GONNA hit that. Two hundred fifty mark at some of the bigger places of worship. You're probably GonNa hit that two fifty And others you probably won't but he's given you twenty five percent occupancy. If you were one that said I wanna go to my place. I want to go to my spot. It's been too long online is nice. But it's not the same and as he said he's not feeling great about it and I don't blame him because I do believe that we are in the middle of this thing as isolated as a lot of the seems to nursing homes and long tear long-term care centers in terms of the deaths There's still a lot of this virus around people and Wall said yesterday were still on the way up or not at that. Peak yet. Said state was launching a partnership with faith leaders to make sure that as we move to try and have some of these places of worship open they're done with a common goal of the safety and security of not only the Congress but of the community at large and that's the other part of it and I thought Andrew from Detroit Lakes. The at one of the callers on Sunday sermons today made a tremendous point about all of this. It's not I think we need to remind people of it because I think too many too many people right now are thinking it's not going to affect me. It's not going to affect maybe my wife or it's not going to affect my kids. I think right now because we've all been shut down for so long you get selfish a little bit and I don't blame people because we're all we've set it for the last couple of weeks. It's tough it's terrible. It's tough to know that this weekend. For example would be an important one to spend with family. Maybe it would be important to go to the cabin. Maybe you had a vacation planned or something like that but I think we gotta remember that. It's not it's not just about the old people dying per se and it's not just about the healthy young people that really don't have to worry about covid. Nineteen there is a middle ground In that and even opening the churches is gonNA come at some kind of price. We don't know what that price is going to be yet. But it's foolish to think that we're just going to be able to open this up to twenty five percent. And all the social distancing measures are going to be taken and we're just gonNA escape through this and everything is going to be fine Look no further than Germany. That one hundred thousand people almost have died from this. I think we become so numb to the numbers whereas a couple of months ago we followed every single one. Remember that Brienne at eleven fifteen. Every Sunday we would get the new Minnesota Department of Health. Outline and I jumped from six to thirty six sixty four and we just micromanage. These looked at him he said. Oh my God what's happening now. I just been so beaten down by the numbers. They don't even notice are we? Don't even notice but that forty don't just look at it like that. That's one church with forty people six in the hospital where those people go after who of those forty people impacted after And that's again one church out of how many how many churches around the country and around the World Real Quick. I want to get to Andrews Call 'cause I thought he summed it up perfectly pulled the audio. He summarized it in a minute. Thirteen seconds on. Why we we can't take mile with this instant we've been given and if we get to go to these restaurants coming up if we get to go to these places of worship coming up now we get to. You're probably on your way to an afternoon barbecue somewhere before the rains. Come don't just think oh man we're good now. Yeah we got a group of ten. We're keeping it chill. We're keeping it light We don't have to do this. We don't have to do that. We we still have to do our part here as the restrictions are slowly lifted. That's my thought on it. And I think Andrew summed it up. Well I just wanted to chime. In obviously the occur. The COVID NINETEEN WINTER. Fatigue is as real for all of us. And we're all kind of getting desperate but at the end of the day I just think the fact that people can come to conclusion that taking a precaution is something that they don't believe they should be doing is just lunacy in my mind Like you said it's their stock. They're just thinking about themselves in these situations. Let me personally. I'm thirty five year old healthy male but I also have a girlfriend who is a registered nurse with hospice also also have a mother who just recently breast cancer? I have an uncle who was recently diagnosed with cancer and have another who recently came out of nine and a half hour back surgery. So I'm healthy. I'm fine but I would like to see them again. I would like to interact with them again and if doing so means by taking precautions to slow this down. Some people believe it does and some people believe. That doesn't but I'm on the side of if it does if there is some truth to that but why not. What's the point in it if you don't believe in that's fine but oh Scott at the people that do just because they think that they're doing something right and they're not hurting anybody by doing so. That was specifically talking about wearing masks. And we've talked about that Ad Nauseam. It's not often you pull audio from collar but I thought Andrew made I think Andrew summarized my thoughts on it exactly. It's not just about how you're feeling and it's not just about how you're going to be impacted by in nineteen it's a big wide world out there and if you're wondering what I mean by let's not take the The mile that we've been given with this inch I would say let's not be like all the vacationers at the crowded pool at the lake of the ozarks if you haven't seen the video I'm sure you will at some point today. reminds me of the the clearwater beach. First couple of weekends that we were supposed to be in this shutdown. I reminds me of New Orleans. basically Mardi gras part two on Bourbon Street. The first couple of weeks we were supposed to be in this shutdown People all over the place. No social distancing no nothing Don't be like those people. Frankly just don't be like him. We all WanNa do that. We all want to go to a pool right now. We all want to go on vacation but were not especially Minnesota. Were not in out of the woods yet. You saw the story out of Missouri. I need a haircut badly. Speaking of Nineteen ninety-six. My hair hasn't been this long since one thousand nine hundred eighty six. I the wings that everybody wanted. Everybody wanted everybody. Wanted to be the hockey player right. We did. We talked about this last week. Everybody wanted to be cool hockey player and have the hockey hair and have the wings. I've got him. They're all grey. Now I know but since I was fourteen fifteen sixteen years old. I haven't had hair like this. I don't need like this is a thirty seven year old father of three suburban father. Three don't need it. I need a haircut badly but when I see to Missouri hairstylist. Now not just one now. There's a second yesterday. There was one Missouri hairstylist. Who worked with symptoms? Now there was two there are two who potentially exposed one hundred and forty clients to corona virus when they worked for up to eight days this month while symptomatic not even didn't know I had it. They had symptoms. Didn't test for whatever the reason don't know if they were available in Missouri. Not sure but they exposed Hundred and forty people to Corona virus. Even though they had symptoms of it they continued to work. Both stylists had symptoms while at work. They did not provide details on their conditions or when they tested positive but again we know that people need to work. We know that the economy's gotta get turned back up and we know that governments both state and federal have to better job now moving forward providing that assistance. They're asking a lot of people to not work or to to sit on furlough and do all of those things. But so there's gotta be a backside of it where they are taking care of where they don't feel the need to rush back to work and potentially expose one hundred forty because again Andrew said how many. How quickly does that one hundred and forty turn into thousand or ten thousand people in terms of who they've been around Let's not take an inch or let's not take a mile With the inches that we have been given all right. Am I gonNA move to Disneyworld? I'd like to just general. It's the happiest place on Earth but there's NBA basketball. And I could somehow get there and I could somehow watch at after the press pass and stay six feet away from Johnny Athletic and Mike Trudell but I do it and how likely is it that the NBA is moving to Disneyworld. We'll talk about that and much. More with Johnny. Yes.

"Now does it have to be five teams? You can do three or four whatever may be. I'm going to choose to do five. And if I lose one I'm going to do four, and if I lose another I'll do three, and that's it. You really don't want any less than three because the odds are wars born up Dan start off, Dan Silverman on the board. I is Christmas morning. What do you have your parley here? So I am as you. Everyone seems to now. I am not the biggest NBA fan right right now. But I'm gonna go with the Knicks. I think ten points is a bit too big for me there. Oh, I get. So the Knicks are leg one of the parlay. What else we got? I like the thunder on the road. Okay. I like the Sixers on the road. Interesting to road teams in the NBA Christmas day, not worried about the officials. Okay. I think the warriors against LeBron show up to play. I think they cover at home. I like it. And I like the trailblazers on the road in Utah. Interesting. That's going to be a tricky game for me. I like it. Good job board off, Dan. And now, look, regardless of how much you know, about the NBA. I mean, I could have my sister or my wife do this. They probably pick a winner more. So than I would like the person who wins the March madness pool has exactly that's always the way. Right. I sit there we sit there pulling our hair out trying to pick a game. And there's I like the thunder because their uniforms thunder of won the game who wants to go next producer, Brian. Are you up now? I'm up. Yeah. Basketball annoys me. Sometimes it's like, you always get the person that wins that doesn't know anything about now watch. So we're Jacob is not a big gambler at all board op Dan just admitted he's not a big gambler. And not a big NBA guy. Now, watch let's see how Jacob and dancing to you. When I he's producer, Brian. You're up next with your Christmas day parlay what he got the bucks minus the ten points. Listen Janas is gonna come out here. And he's on a mission right now. He's been playing better than almost anyone in the league. You're if you had to rate the toughest games to pick. Where would you put this one? Because to me, this is a tough one. This one's number three to me. Under rockets is hard and seventy six or Celtics is pretty difficult game to choose. Okay. Okay. Speaking of thunder rockets, I'm gonna take thunder. Plus appoint they're on a roll right now. The rockets have had a terrible year so far. So I'm gonna take Oklahoma City. Even though they're on the road. I don't think it's that big of a deal. Next game is Boston minus four points. I'm gonna take Boston. I think the home crowd will show up in Boston for this game. Even the most home crowds are not great historically on Christmas day. Next. Give me the Lakers, plus eight and a half at all. Lebron's going to show up a controversial comments. I think he's ready to remind everyone that he's the best player in the world. And he's going to try and make a statement and Golden State too. I think let's say wins the game but eight and a half points is a little too much for me, especially because Golden State doesn't really did the regular season series. Anyway. And then I'm gonna take the trailblazers at Utah. Listen you tugging favored by six points. Here is weird to me you toss out very good this year. They've had some good moments. But they're not very good. I know the show is a bad on the road this year, but Utah. Exactly at home. They're six and seven. So give me the trailblazers, plus the six points interesting. That's my lock inches. Oh, the trouble as you make your money on one pick plus soil like it. See there you go a little bonus play. Right. They're not just the traditional Christmas day parlay. You're going to go with a little straight up blazers. I'll pay attention now on our producer, Brian. Thank you for that. Brian McKean, of course, doing a great job. I is Christmas morning Jacob what he got. I these are tough sounds you want to pull back and forth. And as you look deeper into the numbers. I'll stick with the bucks. Even though I think the Knicks you'd never know it home, but I'll say the bucks going. Jeez. Thunder rockets are thing is the toughest game. I'll go with the rockets and stick with them Celtics. I have no problem with warriors have been in too many close games for my liking this year. And I think the Lakers will cover I think the warriors will win. But I'll take the Lakers. My the warriors minus eight and a half. And again, one of these of the home team with a lesser wreck. Then the road team and the home team's favor, but I'll still go with the jazz. I think records go out the window on Christmas day. I'm bigger on the home team. I agree with that logic. All right. Jacob so box raptor, excuse me box rockets, Celtics, Lakers, jazz Horatio. So you're the loan jazz. So far of the three for what it's worth we make of an I have complete opposite picks. Interesting. Every game is opposite to don't watch the NBA as much complete opposite, right? That's ford. Dan, there is now I gotta pick mine and truth be told I will do this on the fly here. I mean, I've given it some thought throughout the course of the shell. But I also like going with the gut feel what's my gut feel telling me what the one game. I love for sure that I'm taking my best bet. Warriors, minus the eight and a half. I think that that line is telling you you get suckered into LeBron on Christmas day, plus the eight and a half points. I love the warriors. Let's start though at the top with the parlay. Jeez. I'm kinda with. I'm with well. I guess in this case Jacob and producer, Brian that I think the box are gonna smoke the Knicks. I just worry that ten points could be a lot. But it is a lot in the NBA. The Knicks have been a competitive team at home Christmas day, the Knicks effort man, that's a tough game for me. I'm gonna take the box push comes to shove. Gimme Milwaukee minus the ten and I'll hate myself for one the Knicks inevitably cover the game. Give me the rockets at home. I think the thunder or the better team. I love Paul George always have. But when you're home, and the rockets haven't been awful as of late when your home on Christmas day, you're gonna get the benefit of the whistle as usual national spa is a big game for the rockets. Dad least show they could be competitive with one of the top teams in the Western Conference. I think they find a way to get it done. Gimme the rocket. And I think that line is telling you to take the rockets because you look at it logically, thunders only how could the thunder beginning a point. I don't care where the game's being played under a better. Give me the rockets minus the one in that one Sixers Celtics probably the toughest game on the sleet. And I'm gonna take. I'm going to take the Sixers have to throw a dog in our king pick all the favorites. I hate doing that gimme the Sixers plus four at Boston. So the other way, I would do it. Like if I if I lose the first game, then I would go based off of okay? Well, the home team covered in this one. Maybe the home team on. It's not like I'm law of averages. Give me the bucks might as ten rockets minus one Sixers pause for warriors, minus eight and a half. And then I'm gonna take the blazers plus six as well have to have another dog in there. So for me box rockets. Sixers blazers warriors warriors blazers for Jacob box rockets. So we agree. They're Celtics where we differ Lakers jazz. We disagree on those two producer Brian box, thunder Celtics.
