"The US supreme court has thrown out the murder conviction of a Mississippi man on death row. Paving the way for an unprecedented potential seventh trial. Curtis flowers has already been tried six times after prosecutors attempts to convict him fail due to prosecutorial misconduct allegations of racism and deadlocked. Juries ABC's Stevenson Saami has more Justice. Brett cabinet writing for the seven to majority accusing the state of. Discrimination, and allowing seven trial his words were a slap to the prosecutor saying that Mississippi's relentless determined effort to rid the jury of black individuals strongly suggests that the state wanted to try flowers before a jury with this few black jurors as possible. And ideally, before an all white jury the supreme court meantime, has a few more decisions left to release before the end of its

"Last Friday. Just before the show ended with the word that came out there. There was was the photo of governor north them on his face on his on his college yearbook page medical school page, which I didn't know they had yearbooks then. But that put him in his late twenties and Zoe said the photo of at the guy in black face in the guy, the KKK outfit, and he came out Friday night after the show and said, oh, I'm so sorry. I can't tell you how sorry I am. And he just apologize profusely. Then Saturday morning. I'm it's hard to keep track of this Saturday morning gets up and says, that's not me. No. I'm not. Nope. That's not me. So then you get down to well. Maybe I did put black face on and. It could be in a Michael. Michael Jackson dance contest. You should see me moonwalk. One of the reporters asked him. Hey, can you still do it? He looked around with a big smile. Like, he was ready to do it. His wife. Gave him the wife and the elbow in the ribs sort of thing in my wife said it wouldn't be appropriate. He didn't think it was inappropriate. The guy is a stark, raving idiot. He's a moron. So we dust off. Our let's see what is the the secession list for the state of Virginia. And under Virginia law. If the north MS replaced, the new governor good hab rare incumbency advantage in two thousand twenty one. So you get that. So you've got the Lieutenant governor's the ones going to step up. Now, then we find out that there is a woman that has come forward and has said that there is sexual assault against me at a DNC convention in two thousand four. And so a lot of people are going well. I don't know about her. I mean, come on. This sounds like it smear job to me, the timing of this is certainly rather odd. But wait a minute. I thought we were supposed to accept the word of a woman who says I was clear salted hashtag metoo. Well, supposedly, we are. But that's not what's happening in Virginia. And so he is now fighting back in NBC is reporting that he went on an extra tirade about her. Her name. She's now come out. Is bonanza Tyson. She's Dr Vanessa Tyson. And Dr Vanessa Tyson has hired the lawyers at the law firm of cats Marshall and banks. That's the same law firm that represented Dr Christine blazey Ford. Accused Brett cabinet off sexual assault. So that's why I bring up this business about Elizabeth Warren saying, hey, I filled out that bar form. State of Texas that was thirty years ago. Well, she was a lawyer. So she had to have been one you get out of undergrad twenty two. And law school is depends where you go three or four years that would put her at twenty five or twenty six and Ralph Northam was in medical school. So that would put him somewhere about twenty five twenty six. And then you got the people from this medical school that are now being quizzed about this. And I saw an interview yesterday with a guy who said well. We've gone back through the the books to find out. What else is in there? And I'm thinking for my and he was apparently one of the people that was in charge of this yearbook back in nineteen Eighty-four. And you have to look at him and wonder did you not see a problem? Did you not as you were laying out the yearbook go, hey, what's that black face KU Ku Klux Klan guide? What's that? All about. We can't have that. Inter. Nope. They said, it's fine. So you go the guy in charge from the medical school. I think he's a doctor. Did did not have any problems with shouldn't somebody be asking questions about him? So now, if the governor can't serve and Lieutenant governor can serve who is next in line. Well, that would be the attorney general he's a democrat, Mark herring. Well, we have a problem because this morning. The attorney general of Virginia, Mark herring. Put out a statement saying. I wore black face at a college party in one thousand nine hundred eighty. Yeah. Yep. Yep. So he's next in line to become the state's governor after Lieutenant Justin Fairfax who was facing the sexual assault allegations, which he has denied. So in his statement. AG haring new nobody's offering to immediately reside. Not this guy. Not Fairfax not north. Nobody. And so the attorney general says, well, what we need is an honest conversation and discussions, and those will take place in the days ahead. He say when but in the days ahead, we need an honest conversation and discussions. So Harry said on Saturday. That was no longer possible for governor north him to serve as governor after his black face admission. But then he said, well that wasn't me. And then okay, maybe I did do it while Michael Jackson thing. But, but that's that's just not that could be me. He's hired a facial recognition guided tell them that it wasn't him. Nobody knows how this photo. Got there. All of a sudden at nobody the two white guys the governor and the attorney general in the black guy, the Lieutenant governor, none of them are willing to step down. So. Local NPR station in Richmond. Is reporting that the Lieutenant governor Fairfax is hiring the firm. Oh, you're kidding me. That that represented Justice Tavano. You can't make this up if you wrote this and send it to a Hollywood producer. They would say they would say this is stupid. So Dr Vanessa Tyson has hired the law firm that represented Dr Christine Ford, blaze lazy Ford and Lieutenant General Janet Lieutenant governor, I'm sorry. Fairfax has hired the firm that represented Brett cavern. So nobody is stepping down. What is going on in Virginia? Well, here is a clip of South Carolina. Senator Tim, Scott. Who says this issue extends way beyond the political realm?.

"Like, a western desert this morning. You know, it's like really called the temperatures going up today. It's called fall. Yeah. And bring it could go either way. I is telling Victoria was following me. And I had crossed my windshield. Some driving with my driver's side window doubts. I can't see out the window. Yeah. Everything you're not supposed to do like a dog is freezing. All right. So some White House news. This is about this Don Mcgann has left as the White House counsel. He knew that he was going to step down. He is being replaced after the cavenaugh process because he helped write Asher Brett cabinet. Boy. Did he succeed? Yes. He did left on a high note. Yes. So he is being replaced in the interim by Emmet flood. Now, Emmett flied is the name. That's familiar. Correct me if I'm wrong didn't Emmett flood wasn't. He Clinton's council during the impeachment process up. Why can't correct you because I'm not sure I'm sure that's that's how we know the name Emmett flood. I believe Emma flood was was the council dragging. Yes. Right. Exactly. Right. Okay. Good again, John where my keys are. But I know that. Sarah Sanders yesterday said in a statement that flow was appointed to the job effective yesterday morning, and he's going to serve in the role until Washington lawyer, Pat sip baloney got that right, right? Yes. Assumes will assume the post, and then he's going to return to his role as special counsel to the president assisting on the Robert Muller probe. Now. There are critics advisors should the president didn't want the president to have him step in in this temporary role. Because at this point in the Muller investigation. They wanna keep flood with that. I say they didn't want to take him away from there because we know that Muller made an announcement that after the midterms he's coming out with something. And it was not quite an announcement in. It was more of like a leak. It was like somebody close to the or investigation says right after the midterms the big ones coming and then this should basically be whatever that is the other important thing about this. So I was at an event. Tuesday tuesday. On Tuesday night and had a conversation with someone who I can say shall remain nameless. Who said to me that because I said so anything big coming because you always ask right? And I was told again once again leaves you will see more with the declassification, right? Because the the declassification has not happened because of those two countries who we don't know who they are. But we know that their England and Australia. Yes. Donald who shall remain nameless. Who they are. But we know who they are that once once Mcgann is out. Yeah, he's the one preventing the president from releasing these does he's the one who's kind of standing the way saying, it's not a good idea. We don't wanna out Australia and England, they're really good allies that once he's out you're going to start to see some be declassified. So we'll see what happens. Now, I've heard this. I've heard this Don Mcgann theory that the Mcgann is the guy is blockading declassification. Yes. So a couple of weeks ago just to get you inside the reporting process here. I started making a bunch of phone calls on this. And I'm like, what's the deals Mcgann really standing in the way of the class, and I got a lot of conflicting answers, actually. So whoever you spoke with I've heard similar things for sure I've heard people say, Don Mcgann was standing in the way of declassifying documents. I've also heard though that he's not alone that a lot of lawyers and almost like uniformly lawyers in the White House were opposed for a variety of different reasons. Legal. Precedent unintended consequences things like that. And it's not crystal clear that any one lawyer who might come into advise the president, including including pats up baloney is going to open the floodgates or Emmett flood for that matter. He opened the floodgates so right now, let's I think the the the point with the class is to have a little bit of confidence that the president is not giving us the runaround that he sent this stuff to the department of Justice inspector general on purpose because there is a very good reason for the IT to have it I because the president knows now what's inside of it keys handed it off to the because he thinks that's the first important step. So my senses all to trust Trump on this. And to say that they're not just giving us the runaround on on these. No, I don't think they're giving us the runaround. I think they're trying to figure out how to release this stuff. And we all find out that England and Australia were working with the Obama administration to try to derail an American election. And that's huge. Yeah. That that's a big deal. So that's what in fact, Jodi. Donovan told us on Monday of this week about this idea that the Brits spying on American citizens on behalf of the United States. What and the Australian Basseterre being involved setting up a popadopoulos? Yeah downer. Boy was was just. Like the name or was that? What was so very interesting. We'll see how what if anything comes out before the midterms. That's what we're all waiting for. Where's the Tober surprise is anything going to happen before the midterms because the president knows how important keeping the house? Let's be honest can anything surprise you anymore? Every now, and then you surprise me. Okay. So let.

"Ruin your life. Not. What is your message? She was a women across this country were feeling devastated. Feeling like the message. Title. I don't think women women for outraged. What happened to Brett cabinet outrage? Are you one hundred percent certain? Hundred percent. I have no doubt. And joining me now is counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway good morning, Kellyanne Conway, John I want us you this is clearly a victory for the president a big victory for the president. But as you yourself said, this was could be seen as an apocalyptic fight this confirmation battle. How concerned are you that given all that went down in the way? This went down that Brad Kavanagh will be seen as a tainted Justice by roughly half of the country. Justice cavenaugh should not be seen as tainted. He should be seen as somebody who went through seven FBI investigations, including Justin this last week, another one that was completed this past July had answered twelve hundred written questions had produced about a million pages of documents submitted himself to about thirty three or thirty five hours of sworn testimony to the Senate, including denying the allegations that were put before him, and they should look at his entire record the way Senator Susan Collins, did her speech and her vote were remarkable. But don't forget what she said in that that stem winder of the speech before she cast her affirmative vote. She said she had been briefed by nineteen attorneys that she had read his opinion, she quoted from those opinions she said, she's very concerned that we're giving up on basic principles that make America so wonderful, including fairness and due process, and the presumption of innocence, the supreme court thank God is sacrosanct institution that can withstand much and it will withstand. The fact that there were a lot of political Macintoshes you have people preening for the cameras already out there in Iowa running for president in twenty twenty on the heels of this vote and who were raising money for their presidential campaigns during a Senate confirmation hearing for the supreme court. So I think there should be a lot of soul-searching. But let's not forget who should be doing that. You're about to have a democratic Senator from the Senate Judiciary committee maisy Haruna of Hawaii on your show. She told you in the men of America to just shut up several weeks ago. This has been a very low point for many people whose job it was to advise and consent the president on judicial nominations. They wanna one of the American look up and see Brett Kavanagh's a gang rapist. And a lot of women including me in America looked up and saw a man who was the political charac, a political political character assassination. And also we looked up and saw him possibly our husbands. Our sons our cousins our co workers are brothers. And this was this was unfair. Had they shown breath. Cavenaugh the grace and dignity that his ten year old daughter show, Dr for that we all showed her in her testimony in the FBI supplemental investigation. Okay. There should be some soul searching, but it's not the supreme court. So Kellyanne you heard what Elena Kagan said about the court's legitimacy depending on it being seen as as a part from the politics that we see in the other two branches. I assume based on your comments, you you agree with that. There are regardless regardless of anything, you just said there are clearly questions in the minds of a great many people in this country again, roughly half the country about Justice, Kavanagh's objectivity. How would you advise him to overcome those questions that so many people in this country have about whether or not he can truly be an objective Justice? You've already tried this for weeks now respectfully, pride what unders asking you how he's gonna overcome doubts that half the country has had this not trying anything. No, excuse me. We've had this conversation for three weeks, including under sworn testimony. There's been no supreme court Justice in the history of this country. John has been more picked apart with the possible exception of Clarence Thomas is in his twenty seventh year on the bench. And we've had this conversation for three weeks. I think what judge says cavenaugh she do is what he's done for twelve years on the second highest court in the land having authored over three hundred judicial opinions. He should go to work. He should do his job. He should look at the document. He should listen to the the cases in front of him. He should read the briefs, and then he should apply the law and not make it up as he goes along. That's why President Trump nominated Neal Gorsuch, and Brad Kavanagh in the first place and twenty other US circuit court judges that I've been confirmed because this this country is sick and tired of people who make the laws they go along to fit political agendas or could fit personal predispositions. He he should do that. But I'm telling you, we also we you're talking about the country. And polling look at the the Haret the Harvard Harris poll that came out this. Week two data points how quickly review one seventy five percent of Americans Inc. According to the Harvard Harris poll say that Senator Feinstein should not have sat on that letter for six weeks. She should have revealed it immediately in a separate question. Sixty nine percent in the Harvard Harris poll, excuse me said that they thought the whole process was a quote national disgrace. And you have to put all of those data points together and recognize that there is profiles and cowardice by many people they were not trying to get to the let's stop pretending that there's moral authority by some including many in your industry. I didn't say you, but many industry have lost their moral authority to pretend that they were looking for the truth that they were on some kind of fact-finding mission when they weren't even covering his testimony that he has denied under oath at this has happened. And they won every woman to be victim at every woman to lock arms with every other one every manager a perpetrator, we can't live in a country where democracy. And the first amendment and due process, fairness and the presumption of innocence thrive and have that as the backdrop by United States senators bullet, but let me ask you cavenaugh in his after the hearing was over he wrote an op Ed in the Wall Street Journal, and he said let me read a section of this. I was very emotional last Thursday more so than I have ever been. I might have been to emotional at times. I know that my tone was sharp. I said a few things I should not have said, we know we apologize for the way he spoke to Senator klobuchar, but what are the other? What what what are the rest of those few things? What does he regret saying in that second round of confirmation hearing? Thanks, Senator Collins answer that question best, and I'll echo it where she said she can understand as can I as can many people including women across this country. Millions of them John that when you are being unjustly attacked when people are sending death threats and vile emails to your own wife to your thirteen and ten year old daughters when they're trying to destroy the reputation the good what does he regret that? He said what are the few things that he says he should not have said. He apologized to Senator klobuchar for getting a little bit hot. But I think we ought. But I think we all can appreciate that. "In order to believe Dr Ford you had to suspend. Ability to reason. Skin, three different. Answers as to win the assault happening mid eighties early eighties. And all of a sudden actually was the summer in one thousand nine hundred eighty two after she lawyers up. You have to believe that she. Waited. Waited really until now to reveal that the individual who assaulted here was in fact, judge Cavanaugh. Never said anything to anybody else. Although her husband now has circled back and said, oh, I remember her telling me during marriage therapy. Okay. We'd like to see the notes they won't return. They won't release the notes. So that's not believable. She remember key details about the night who invited her to the party how she heard about the party how she got to the party how she left the party where the house is exactly with any specificity. And of course, most importantly, how she left the party with whom she left the party how she traveled back home when she got back home. The alleged assault has not been corroborated by single person, including none of the people she's named including as well. Her lifelong girlfriend, Leland Kaiser that apparently is not changed based on reports today. She hasn't provided a consistent account of the alleged assault. And she had big trouble. Remembering important recent events. Like in her discussion with the Washington Post reporter, whether she actually gave portions of a therapist's notes to the report and others is in July, the whole copy of the therapists notes read from the therapists notes, she doesn't remember? She can't remember if she had an actual copy of the therapists notes when she called the Washington Post or she had gone to her therapist's office and read the notes can't remember any of that. She won't provide the notes to the committee. She won't provide it to the committee. She can't remember the day that she had the polygraph. Now. This is very reason. Just what a month six weeks eight weeks ago, whether it was on the day, her grandmother passed away or not she can't remember if it was video or audio recorded, and the committee would like to know they want to see. If in fact, she was traumatized during the course of the. Excuse me, lie detector tests, does she claims? She talks about the psychological impact it had that she doesn't want to fly, she's difficulty flying. Now. We know that was a flat out lie. Say that. Yes. A flat out lie. She's flown west coast, east coast, east coast, west coast. She's flown to Hawaii French Polynesia Costa Rica all over the world. But when she was asked to shop for a hearing. She couldn't fly. Although it is said that she was already on the east coast. She didn't know that the Senate Judiciary committee Republicans the majority had offered to go to California to interview her in any form. And. Why didn't she know? People say her lawyers must have withheld that information. Maybe the lawyers didn't withhold the information. Maybe she just didn't give a forthright answer. We know from boyfriend. That she never mentioned Kavanagh's name. She never mentioned sexual assault. The six years that they live together and the few years before that that they dated. We know she had no problem with claustrophobia because she had an apartment that was five hundred square feet. That's a small apartment. That's a very small apartment. We know that she never mentioned Kavanagh's name to her boyfriend her live in boyfriend of six years. So you have to believe. The unbelievable. To believe her testimony. Against Brett cabinet. You have to believe the unbelievable you must suspend your reasoning. And now that I'd gone all through. She's not the bubble lady. She came forward. She said, it was her civic duty. She's presented herself to the American people. And we get the judge sentence. Not the only body that gets the judge you and I get the judge, and we don't have to self censor. Have to be rude and hateful and all the rest. I'm not that. And we're not doing that. Now what a cabin. I'll say that was so unbelievable or contradicted. Absolutely nothing that I'm aware of what that he may have more drinks one day than another day. He's the one who showed up with his calendars. He's the one who had witnesses who said he was never there. But you see the FBI didn't interview him or Ford. Now, according to Ford's lawyers who are very upset. And of course, the Democrats are at one in the same. But that's not the nature of this investigation. It's not a criminal investigation. They testified in public under penalty of perjury. There's nothing else for them to say. So why do we continue to play footsie with the Democrats? We should play brass knuckles with the Democrats say enough already and Mr. flake Emma's Collins, and MS Murkowski, if you wanna throw him with the Democrats go ahead, we're having a vote. This is over. We are not going to participate in any further sham. We are not going to participate. Now in the trashing of the FBI. I'm not talking about the senior people at the FBI. Now there trashing the FBI after lecturing us for eighteen months about the FBI. That's not the senior officials in the FBI who are doing. These interviews. These are special agents. I have no doubt. The hard working men and women are the FBI that the Democrats claim to like, but they hate all law enforcement. Let's be honest. So enough's enough. We don't need to deal. Honestly, we don't need to deal with people. Who are diabolical? Diabolical? That includes flake that includes Colin site includes Murkowski who brought us to this point. I guarantee you. If it were their husbands are flights wife who are being treated this way. They wouldn't agree. Maybe we should extend this for a week. Why? What took place? So now get interview bunch of people on the whole issue of his drinking. I have had a couple of people ask me why were they so focused on asking him drinking questions that had nothing to do with blazing Ford. You don't why don't you? They were trying to get him to say something that was untrue on a completely unrelated issue. The area is drinking why here's calendar. His yearbook. Did he say something about this? That wasn't true. Ask him nine million unrelated questions, you have nine million new areas to investigate to see whether or not all my goodness. He's a supreme court Justice. We can't have a perjurer in there. The ball keeps moving. Keep bringing up all of these other things in the questioning see you have something new to investigate and at the end of the week. We're not we're going to be on perjury or whatever their new thing they come up with after that. Well, what he said isn't true. Okay. Now, what's that guy's been testifying for four months to try to find one misstatement in there. So they can bring out completely brand new issue and keep that going. There's no end to this. I've had some. Many people ask you what's going to happen at the end of this FBI thing. But then the question is between now. And when that takes an that'll take place tomorrow, and the judiciary committee vote takes place, of course, today tomorrow. It'll be on the floor rights. Thank give us the breakdown of what takes give us the kind of the timeframe of if things move forward, successfully what happens here. So if the committee approves breath Kavanagh today, he'll be officially sent to the floor. That would mean the Senate can take a vote on what is called a motion to proceed tomorrow. Jay takes fifty votes to basically begin consideration of the nomination that's one of the three floor hurdles that he's got a clear that would set up. A cloture vote. After cloture filed a vote on Monday afternoon that also takes fifty votes to clear, then you have to have thirty hours of post cloture debate. Which would mean late Thursday Tuesday night, you can have the third and final vote on his confirmation. So you have to clear three final votes on the floor of the Senate one would be tomorrow one would be Monday and one could be as early as Tuesday, so Jordan, you said something here, and I think from your political experiences -portant convey, the people net is that even though it looks like he'll have the until he has the vote in years confirmed days even. Cory Booker is again slamming Brett cabinet. Go to sleep Cory booker's, attacking Brad Kavanagh or and Macy road as attacking break having on a wake-up. We're back the broadcast is somebody's attacking Brad Kavanagh the judiciary committee for our since. I've come into the office since we bid prepared for radio Republicans have been pretty quick with their comments. But the Democrats are taking every possible to slam bread. Kevin the same thing again, this has been days of that it certainly affects people edge. So if it does affect people we have days of this company, you better be darn sure that Jeff flake is for real and his vote and get him to vote as soon as possible at figuring out where Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins are figuring out where Joe Manchin is that's the fair thing to do for bread Kavanagh the fair thing to do for the country because you're putting people through a lot of pain in English discussing this public and putting this Ford if it's all going to be for not. So here's what Senator Whitehouse said if you don't think it's over until it's. Overprint take a listen over time. I expect the facts come out. They have a way of doing that cover-ups never last the sand is running through Kavanagh's hourglass. And I pledge whatever I can do to make sure that the truth of his conduct is ultimately determined. This is just sick. Okay. The guy testified under oath soda, Dr Ford with somebody not telling the truth yesterday. Yes. Were they lying. Maybe not in this context. I I'm not saying Dr Ford do not believe what she said. But I also believe that judge Cavanaugh was not the perpetrator whatever happened to her and this character assassination that's going on right now. It's it's really it really is sickening. I mean when I think about what happened to Clarence Thomas years ago, nineteen ninety one this is on a whole different level hairy. I mean, this is reached a whole new level of of of outrage. Absolutely four unconv-. There's not a witness that confirms allegations here again nothing against doctor four, but there's not one witness that confirms allegation here. Absolutely. So the Democrats continue to engage in ad hominem attacks on judge Cavanaugh. And then they congratu. Themselves under their openness. So for instance. Cory Booker has announced that the goodness and the decency of Republicans and Democrats in this country is self evident. And we demonize each other in ways that I will continue to be an exemplar of trying to get our dialogue to rise to something different. This is pure unadulterated nonsense. Cory Booker is one of the leading offenders in providing ad hominem attacks on judge. I.

"She alleged to be participants in this attack on her which Brett cabinet office seemed surprised by. And we've been redacted the names of those individuals at their request because they were alleged to be involved. The point I wanna make this. It is not accurate to say that those who knew about the time dispute this, we talked to a roommate from the the time that was living with him. When this alleged incident took place who said he was indeed frequently drunk that he took part inactivity that made him on surprised by this claim that he found this woman credible. He's one of several people in this story who back MS Ramirez and we wouldn't have run this if we didn't have a careful basis that people who had heard at the time and found her credible. But by your own admission, no. Why witnesses the incident? Absolutely. We disclose that up front and clothes that she was in Hebron it at the time. And I think the fact that she took several days to consider and really carefully make sure that she hadn't evidence area basis for this and other people were backing account who had heard at the time told speaks well of her level of caution. The behavior of someone who is fabricating. Wow. That is amazing. He has no evidence this guy at all. Wait. She took a couple of days to really think about the allegation. Dude. She had thirty seven years to think about this ellegation supposedly thirty seven years June have just a couple of days. Thinking about this, supposedly her whole life. And then he admits, yeah, we don't have any witnesses, but you still ran with the story. Are you kidding me? And then you go on the basis of some guy who knew that that Brett Kavanagh had been drunk in his past and that your evidence. It's not out of character that he would be frequently drunk. Wow. Then I guess let's start surprised by this. Yeah, let's put him behind bars right now just for being frequently drunk. Hell, how many kids in college are frequently drunk, but haven't sexually molested somebody? I'm going to hazard a guess that it's it's quite it's a high number. Wow, that's really bad. So Stephanopoulos pressed feral on the fact that Ramirez didn't originally remember Kavanagh's involvement. Let me press you on that. 'cause that's sent. It's really jump out at me when I read the article. She says it after six it. I wasn't sure. This was cavenaugh when you first came to her last week and then you right after six days of carefully assessing her memories into consulting with her attorney. She did become confident that him. L. done is incredible. Okay. So again, I think in this particular instance, it was since eighty three. So that's thirty five years. She'd been thinking about it for thirty five years and then so she still not clear up until that time. Then she took a few days in. Okay. Now it's all back to her. What. This is pathetic. So Faeroe says Ramirez only came forward after Senate Democrats starting started investigating the claim. Why did she come forward? She came forward because Senate Democrats began looking at this claim. Okay. So that doesn't give you a clue that maybe this isn't true. None of this stuff. Rang in alarm bell in your head Ronin. This is really bad stuff. This. Your smearing a guy who is who's been nominated for the US prem- court for no good reason. He also said that he takes reporting very seriously and he's, he's going to defend the story. You pointed out the witnesses, the students at the time who back up her story back up their claims Kavanagh's behavior at the time. Several others in the article say that they never heard anything like this at all. Even someone who professed to be her best friend at the time at any moment, you're writing the story. This close to the nomination. Did you sort of wanna push the pause button? Say, are we sure this is the right thing to do. Georgia. I just want to stress very clearly. We take reporting this tape, extremely serious edit entry basis for this number of witnesses were told at the time is strong..
Kavanaugh tells senators he will not withdraw nomination
"A second allegation of sexual misconduct against judge Brett cabinet on our raises new questions about his supreme court nomination. One of his classmates at Yale telling the New Yorker magazine that cavenaugh exposed himself to her at a party nearly thirty five years ago cabinet denying this new charge calling it a smear the second accuser went public just after Christine Blasi Ford, officially accepted, the Senate Judiciary committee's invitation to testify about her claims on Thursday Cavanaugh denies both allegations. But the calls for an outside investigation have grown louder and some senators wonder whether his nomination can now survive, Deborah Ramirez lives in Colorado and has worked with victims of domestic violence. According to the New Yorker article when she and Cavanaugh were first year students at Gail he quote exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party thrust his penis in her face and calls for to touch it without her consent as she pushed away Ramirez admits her memories contained gaps because she had been drinking at the time. Of the alleged incident. But some of her classmates confirmed to Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer, they were told at the time about it while others said they had zero recollection in a statement Cavanaugh insisted this alleged event from thirty five years ago did not happen. "And the the big hearing is supposed to be Monday a week from yesterday the big hearing where we're going to see Brett cavenaugh testify. We're gonna see Dr Ford testify. We're going to have witnesses brought in to testify the news media already. Busy discrediting witnesses that might testify on behalf of Brett cabinet because that's the media's job, they're they're sort of tilling, the soil ahead of the democrat party. So that they can more easily advanced their agenda. It is quite an extraordinary thing to see I suppose, and maybe maybe it shouldn't be surprising. I it's it's appalling. But not shocking what we're watching with the the Cavanaugh episode and the emergence of an accuser at the eleventh hour as turtle boys said yesterday. The eleventh-hour. I it's hard to make out what Mitch McConnell was saying. You gotta use the subtitles. And I don't know how the subtitle people figure out what Mitch McConnell saying either as he mumbles through his declarations and proclamations but rumors eleventh-hour, and I made that much, but the news media. They're just going crazy. They're very excited, they're rubbing their greasy little clause together. They're they're dancing around the maypole having conga lines and the newsroom's over excitement the excitement, they're experiencing. The emergence of an accuser the eleventh hour because they've got to save Roe versus Wade because there are too many black people in America and the Democrats need to reduce their numbers significantly. Today's democrat party, we're at eight eight eight six three zero nine six two five that's a telephone number. Right here in America. And it's absolutely free to you are valued listeners. Also, the president is he announced yesterday that he is ordering the declassification of a number of documents at the request of members of congress declassifying a number of documents from the Justice department, the FBI communications between some of these known bad actors, and the Democrats and the news media, but I repeat myself are up in arms their outrage that the government would declassified documents and give those documents to the news media. The news media as opposed to it. That's how corrupt there. That's how that's how amazingly corrupt. They've gotten. I've got great audio on those today, they're they're in their own way. And and there are a number of fascinating stories having nothing to do with politics and all of the craziness here. But there are some good ones here. President Trump declassifying. These documents is a big deal. And it's going to be a lot of fun when these are declassified and the lefties their heads are already exploding. And I've never seen the news media in any country fight against government openness fight against government transparency. Fight against declassifying documents that will contribute that will add color and texture and knowledge information to the biggest story of the last year. That's the biggest story of the last ten years. And it's just it's huge. It's Russia collusion with the president of the United States, president United States. And the media says, no, you must absolutely not do that. Because it might make the deity Barack Obama who slows the rise of the oceans, it might make him look like a criminal and Loretta Lynch and James Comey could look like criminals, they could be they could be involved in criminal activities and the Democrats want to make sure that that never sees the light of day. "At gray returns on the blaze radio network just a rent fall is unsure about how he's going to vote on brett cabinet yes concerns about the nomination and he shares them with us here senator rand paul at this point i'm undecided but i try to weigh this in perspective of this could be a clinton nominee versus trump nominee so i am somewhat persuaded to have an open mind because this president trump who is such a great job with justice scores i am worried though and perhaps disappointed that i think cavanaugh will cancel out gorsuch is vote on the fourth amendment cavanaugh said in his opinion in claiming basically national security trumps the fourth amendment and that the bulk collection you remember the program that snowden revealed that the government was collecting all of our metadata all of our phone records and storing it utah i mean millions and millions and millions of pieces of data basically cavenaugh rule that he was just fine with it that basically the national security required i disagree completely and i think if we give up our liberty for security we may end up with what fr franklin said and that's neither yep so that's an issue yet i've heard he's kind of if he on the fourth amendment so that's a problem and with technology where it is today you can't be iffy on that well we can't be iffy on that but there is going to be case after case after case kavanagh's lifetime and his service on the bench gaze fifty three this is going to be time in front of him on more than one occasion yes it is so you better be comfortable with that that that seat in this time right now especially so there's one concern here's another from hillary clinton to worry that they wanted to turn the clock back to the nineteen fifties now i worry they wanna turn it back to the eighteen fifties right okay so there you go i mean that's tell me that's not even more frightening the minute what about slavery i mean cavanaugh is he not as we get a look them so he pro slavery he's pro slavery i see how did this fly under the radar until now i don't know i don't i don't think he's written a lot i think he just talks to people about it a lot hey you know what i want to bring back is is a great idea if we brought back slavery you wait oh my gosh i thought it was just me and now i have someone that agrees with me on this yeah finally nominated as court exactly if i can get on the court i'm gonna sway all of them either eight are going to be putty in my hands when it start talking about slavery you know i think it's going to be nine nothing vote to bring it back i do because i think i'm going to be able to convince ruth bader ginsburg i think elena kagan's going to be on board the eight to one sonia soda my oor i mean that it's so asinine these the eighteen fifties really hillary or going back to slavery because of brett cavanaugh i got to be embarrassed with themselves for saying no shame they're never embarrassed by anything a good point boy also republican senators in strongly oppose the government's collection of domestic call records say these still reviewing the record of supreme court nominee brad kavanagh who authored a broad defense of the program this is ran pulse he's problem many senators viewed the national security agencies call record dragnet as a violation of the fourth amendment and congress voted to end the one secret collection months before cavenaugh authored a two thousand fifteen concurrent opinion finding legal cavenaugh wrote the collection wasn't as search under the fourth amendment citing the third party doctrine of the supreme court's seventynine decision gets into the weeds.

"That is to try and trap brett cabinet into saying something that donald trump will find so offensive about it has to be about him right has to be something about trump because that's the only thing he cares about so frightening or offensive that he will withdraw him and the reason i say this is because trump almost withdrew gorsuch heard that gorsuch had said that he didn't like the way trump talked about the judiciary and he said that richard blumenthal in a private conversation which blumenthal related to the press he was going to withdraw and mitch had to come up to the white house and hold his hand and really beg him not to do it and say no it's okay just saying that whatever now maybe trump learn coming since then but i doubt it he doesn't learn anything so i'm not even saying that's specifically something but i do think the idea that they can back have not into a corner on recusals is a potent bit of leverage against to drive a wedge between cavanaugh and trump and because trump we know how he feels about recusals right i mean sessions is you know he's got the scars to prove it and there is a legitimate argument to be made about cavenaugh that cabinet should be recused because of you know the stuff that he's written about a president being subject to investigations or impeachment or or any kind of a special prosecutor or any of this stuff i mean there's a lot there's stuff out there plus his former association with the star report and his partisan affiliation there's a lot of ways you can put that case together that he needs to recuse himself from this investigation into trump and that in my view is the reason why trump pick cabin on us because he thinks that he is the partisan who will save him so that you know i'm not saying that this is someday notice it should be the strategy but i certainly hope that democrats have this in their pocket as a as a way to try to drive a wedge between trump and cabinet and at least make if nothing else works maybe have some way of trying to get trump to to withdraw him which he could do i mean he he could easily do it and then just put somebody else and it's not like there's going to be another president in the next two years so you know he'll get another bite at that apple well north korea right delay delay delayed well the real question i mean of course this scenario has to who play out the scenario what happens is the nomination does not does not get a vote until after the election hopefully the democrats win the election then it becomes even more dubious that they would hold a vote on whether cavenaugh should be the supreme court i mean there's there's a lot of if ands or buts involved in this strategy if so i guess a lot of if comes essentially and so either way you slice it it looks pretty ugly and pretty desperate but think it has to be ugly i mean this is this oh yeah and they should pull out whatever stops they can we're so close to an election i mean know using the mitch argument we're close to the election that people should speak while we are that's actually true in right now it is really close to election closer than it was with the scalia they can see and the senate may change hands it's only two votes there and and there's every reason for the democrats who do everything in their power and then use that in the in the election as an issue you know come on we've gotta push this year so you know i mean i think and even even if they lose sometimes you gotta go down fighting and this is this is one this is when they have to go down without a doubt all right well let's take a break when we come back i want to talk about some other judges that donald trump has decided to make essentially political appointees and and on top of that we should also talk about the abolish ice movement which is growing in this country and we have legislation that was submitted this week on a week where we really did get a sadly disgusting clear eyed vision of the fact that our government that we have been as policy kidnapping children and basically ransom them back to their parents we're going to.
