"Shares dropping more than 7% of their lowest level since the start of the pandemic. The stock is down 16% already this month. The latest move coming out of news of slack CEO Stewart Butterfield is stepping down that's less than 18 months after his company was bought by the cloud giant, Butterfield's departure announced just days after co CEO Brett Taylor said he was leaving CRM. Is this a brain drain happening before our eyes down? Yeah, I think so. I mean, listen, I'm sure when he off which is going to be fine. Okay, like Brett Taylor, I think was thought to be the kind of heir apparent. You know, he was also the chairman of Twitter before that went private. And when you think about Butterfield, I mean, he's a great entrepreneur. He built a big company. He sold it to Salesforce for nearly $28 billion. Think about that. That was one of the biggest tech M and a deals in the last couple of decades. So to lose a couple guys like that on your bench, I don't think it's fantastic. Maybe it's time for a couple of gals. It wouldn't be a problem for me. You did. Yeah, exactly. By the way, he's always surrounded by women.
'The Devil's Triangle: Mark Judge vs the New American Stassi'
"Talking to Mark judge the new book is called the devil's triangle with the subtitle Mark judge versus the new American Stasi. That was the East German secret police. You're just telling us mark how they did extensive what you call opposition research on you to build this case. This is creepy that people would say, how do we concoct a lie? I mean, it's an amazing thing if opposition research is true. But you're selling saying that they tried to use whatever they could find about you to create a plausible story and they figured we've got it where this is going to work. All we need is somebody with the guts to lie in front of the whole world and they found Christine blasey Ford. It's chilling to me. I worry about people souls that they would participate in this. I know they believe so strongly and abortion that they're almost willing to do anything, but it's chilling to me, frankly, that these things go on. Yeah, and as I was saying, The New York Times two reporters wrote a book called the educational Brett Kavanaugh, and if they report on a guy named Keith kogler, who was friends with blasey Ford and he said in the summer of 2018 for 6 weeks leading up to this, he was researching my writing, my videos, but they might have been physically tracking me. I don't even know. And the way opera research works, the devil's triangles oppo researchers, the media and leftist politicians. But oppo researchers will find everything about you from your birth certificate up to last week and then they open the Bombay doors at the last minute and just dump it. And as one of them put it 90% of my job is getting emotionally upset people to start talking. So they opened the Bombay doors and dumped all this on me and because I've known about the Stasi and I've been writing about this for a long time, I thought I know what's going on. Every word you say is a shift that they are going to plant right in your back. You know, if you talk, it's over because they'll twist whatever you say, even if it's the truth. And that's when I thought of this great movie, the lives of others about the German Stassi. And I said, okay, you're living the lives of others right now. And as we were saying before, the commercial break, they thought it was going to be easy.
Mark Judge Describes His Childhood Bond With Brett Kavanaugh
"So Mark, just if you don't mind answer this basic question, how when did you meet Mark? I'm sorry, when did you meet Brett Kavanaugh? How old were you? Just give us the background of what these relationship with him began. We were kids in high school. We both went to Georgetown prep. I think we were about 15 years old. And I think we met, you know, we knew each other through school. But then we all went on a beach trip together, and that's when we really became close friends. And it was the way friendships form when you're a teenager. They're quickly formed and, you know, you become pretty close pretty quickly just because I think that's the way God made us. And so he and I, we were different in a lot of ways. I mean, I was kind of more of a ADHD lunatic and he was very studious and a bit nerdy, although brilliant. And you know, we loved the things that teenagers loved. We loved rock and roll. We love sports. He absolutely adored sports. We really connected over that. The Washington Redskins, the Washington bullets, all the D.C. teams, because we were D.C. kids. And you know, we liked girls because we were teenagers, so we bought it over that. Two teenage boys had a Jesuit all boys school and, you know, you can pretty much write the whole story yourself. That's the kind of stuff you bond over.
Ed Dowd: A Passion to Analyze the Effects of COVID Vaccine Mandate
"Across a conversation with doctor Brett Weinstein, who I always consider to be very far left, but honest, and then doctor Malone, you probably remember the conversation was on the dark horse podcast that went viral. And I said, well, that's interesting. If they're talking about this, then there's something to this that I think people are missing. We asked our audience. We got thousands of emails of people all across the country saying the same thing of different ages, specifically young menstrual menstrual cycle, disruptions, dropping dead, all sorts of nerve issues, and so on and so forth. So I guess my question is, as someone who used to work at BlackRock, how did you get into this and why are you so passionate about it? Yeah, no problem. So, you know, look, like you, I'm curious person. That's been my whole career. My expertise and lies in the space between perception and reality. And the perception at the time I was hearing all these anecdotes was that it's safe and effective. You got to take in an oh, by the way, we're going to mandate this. And that's where that's where I became passionate about this in the summer of 2021. I saw the same podcast she did with doctor Malone and Brett on the dark horse podcast. And that's when I said, aha. Something's really awry here. And that's when I started to dig. And you know, I'm just one of those people that likes to figure out puzzles and the puzzle that I was starting to figure out was horrific. And like yourself, I was never anti vax. I mean, I literally got a tetanus booster two years before COVID. So after my journey, I'm not taking another vaccine ever again. But that's now. Like you, I was not anti anything. My eyes have been opened up and the way that the guts of the medical system and the pharmaceutical system work is flawed and its profit rent seeking behavior that I'm seeing from all these individuals, both the regulators and the farmer, the pharma executives, and some politicians that are bribed by the farm executives to pass laws in their favor.
Community Farm-Farm intro and wrap
"A community farm in Colorado is keeping the environment in mind by replacing traditional farming equipment. Brett beardmore's owl tree farm has ditched the tractors for chickens. There's a lot of the baby boomer farmers are disappearing. Nobody's wanting to take on the next generation. And so there's kind of this weird opportunity that we see to help guide the guide farming methods into a better direction. The ten acre property isn't much as far as farms go, but it's enough to do things their way. Co owner Forrest Carlson says the chickens on site turn the soil, which releases less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than traditional tilling wood. All that knowledge, all that equipment, all that exists, it's just a matter of, you know, helping people realize that there's a different way to do it. There's a mobile chicken coop, which makes it easier to move the animals from patch to patch wherever they're needed. I'm Ed Donahue
Pesce's 1st goal of season lifts Hurricanes past Flames 3-2
"The Carolina hurricane scored twice on the power play earning a three two win at home over the Calgary flames, snapping a 5 game losing streak. Forward Seth Jarvis said the hurricanes took advantage of their opportunities. Obviously we had a we had a few chances and I mean, it's nice to capitalize on them. Trailing two one of the second flames forward Tyler to fully tied the game with a breakaway goal passed hurricanes goalie auntie ransa. In the third, hurricanes defenseman Brett Pesci would break the tie with the power play goal. His first tally of the season. Dan vladar made 30 saves for the flames. Dennis Cox, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Republicans Find Their Way Through Tough Conversations
"More to glory, America, bonjour, high candidate who you're alive inside the beltway on this Thursday I'll be on special report tonight on the panel with Brett bear talking about the house finally being called for the Republicans. Mitch McConnell being returned to lead the GOP Senate. One of his colleagues, Jim Langford, just won a thunderous reelection for another 6 years. I'm not sure if at the sentence or a big win. I know you want to serve the people of Oklahoma. Welcome back, senator lankford. How are you? I'm doing very well. Good morning. Yeah, by the way, it's a bit of a boat. It's a victory and a sentence as well. So I'm very glad for you. I was at a national Republican senatorial committee event, probably a year and a half ago with you and your wonderful wife and with Rick Scott and everyone. You know, Republican senators may have disagreements. But they actually, they don't have fisticuffs. I tried to explain that in the first hour I'd like you to expand on that. Any partnership. And I've run two law firms with more than 20 partners. And they disagree. And then they get that they have a vote in the end. You go along with what the vote is. Is that the way the Senate Republican caucus will work? That is the way that it works actually. There's always frustration. We obviously underperform what we thought we would during the elections last week. So there's a need for a very serious conversation about where we're going. How we communicating the issues, what are the key things that we're actually trying to be able to promote and put out there. Those are hard conversations that need to have and we spent hours Monday and Tuesday going through some very Frank conversations on that as we should.
Mitch McConnell Is a Poor Leader
"There are several narratives out there that I just don't accept Including from a number of friends of mine colleagues of mine We're not angry with each other We're not fighting with each other Brett Hume and Mark thiessen over At Twitter they're looking at the numbers They're big let's just be honest McConnell proponents and I saw this in the Tea Party 2010 I saw it when Ted Cruz was taking on McConnell how they all attacked Ted Cruz My problems with McConnell which I'll get to in a minute go much deeper than even this last election He is a very poor leader Now they can point the judges all they want Joe Biden is kicking our ass on judges right now Just slaughtering us We're not filibustering their judges He's actually beating now the rate of judicial appointments that Trump had and Reagan had And so that is bad news I also don't like the way Mitch McConnell uses his campaign funds Yes to help other candidates but also to go after candidates You don't know that bold duck in New Hampshire the people New Hampshire know Faced four and a half $1 million worth of ads in the Republican primary Smearing him and that money was coming from the Senate leadership fund which was McConnell He raises this money from very wealthy Republican donors and then does with it as he wishes
Kyle Seraphin: See How an Agency Treats Its People
"You and I had the same job title and I thought and I know you thought as well because your friend and a patriot that we were there in those jobs to investigate crimes and go hunt for the bad guys Not to investigate people and then hunt for a crimes and make them bad guys That kind of sounds like what's going on with the old January 6th domestic terror white supremacist threat thing which is clearly obviously a problem but clearly being exaggerated for political purposes No I agree with you I've kind of come to this realization that you can look at an agency and see how well they do by how they treat their people And a friend of mine who is a retired army 20 plus years combat veteran a 100% disabled just a good man who lives in Northern Virginia and his name is Brett He worked for the FBI for the better part of 12 years after his army career And he attended the speech on January 6th He went to the stop the steel rally And there's been no credible allegations of anything that he's done that was wrong And the FBI is suspended him without pay just like I in fact they did it before they did it to me And it just kind of tells you that they're going to go after these people And if you follow one of my social media whether it's truth or Twitter he's had domestic terror investigators from the FBI's Washington field office show up at his house more than once He's caught him on ring cam and I put the pictures out And they've been kind of hammer calling him and his wife even though he has legal representation that the FBI is required to go through So if they're not even obeying their own goal internally when it comes to this sort of January 6th excitement that they have and that's why they put so many people on it And there will even go after people inside the FBI that there's no criminal allegations They found a man They're going to investigate the man not the crime
Rebecca Weber: A Structural Voting Problem Promoted by Democrats
"Are reading Seamus column here, make some very good points for example. Mitch McConnell out there publicly endorsing and supporting candidates who were clearly anti Trump looking at rhino Lisa Murkowski, giving her money. He also spent big money on Murkowski, even though she voted to confirm kanti Brown Jackson while she voted against Brett Kavanaugh. This is an in your face move, meanwhile, you have Kevin McCarthy out there, and he is covertly and has been covertly supporting establishment candidates and trying to sabotage the campaigns of true conservative candidates out there. That's exactly right. And we saw that a lot of the candidates hand picked by Kevin McCarthy lost races. But again, major media knows that people know the Trump's name, the average person might not know who Kevin McCarthy is, unless you're paying attention to politics, right? And even if you look at what happened with the Oz betterman race, I don't think it's because Trump endorsed a bad candidate. I think that 70% of the democratic vote was mailed in prior to the debate. And we know that the debate was a bit of a goal. And we know this as a sediment campaign really misled the public. Saying that his stroke was not very severe. So we're seeing this over and over again. There's definitely a structural voting problem. We've seen that. We see how the Democrats are using COVID to implement and extend a vote by mail in early voting schemes. So this is something that we here at a Mac or very focused about or members care. We had over 12,000 amac members who participated as poll watchers, but this was an issue impacting the entire country and we've got a really work aggressively to remedy.
AJ's Initial Thoughts on Election Night 2020
"I mean, who would have thought? We'd ever miss hanging chads. So this show is a combination of famous bits and politics is a bitch. I can't believe we have to go to bed. It's 1 o'clock in the morning here in Las Vegas. My throat is horse from screaming at the TV, screaming at Donna brazile, Chris Wallace, Jake tapper, a number of other assholes that I just can't John Roberts. I can't say. And some fucking boring woman, they put on the Fox News channel, along with Martha McCallum, who's the wolf in sheep's clothing and Brett Bayer who, listen, he has his one hour time slot on Fox that's the most boring fucking show, you ever want to see. You know, I know he's steady Eddie, but he has no panache, no pizazz, the team that Fox put together to bring us this election night special, the biggest election of our generation. What a fucking dud, so I'm a horse. And I'm a little worse for wear, but this is an embarrassment. Not to mention there was some very dubious behavior. If not criminal behavior, and we're going to find out in the ensuing days, you know, we heard for a while that Pennsylvania was going to be a pain in the ass. But did we expect it to be this fucking annoying? you guys lock up and go home? What kind of fucking union is this? Are you kidding me? The presidential election hangs in the balance and you're going home. Did we expect Arizona to apparently apparently I should say flip like we're being told it flip? Is this the ghost of John McCain sticking up Trump's asshole? Sure seems that way if the numbers hold up. Wisconsin we don't know yet. Michigan, we don't know yet. And the Secretary of State and Pennsylvania said they could be counting ballots till Friday.

Democrats Blame Violent Attack on Republican Political Rhetoric
"A lot of strange aspects to the story. It is a bizarre story which you would expect when you've got a bizarre man this lunatic who attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer, of course the Democrats do not miss an opportunity to let a crisis go to waste. No siree. It's Republicans fault this happened. How does it feel to be lectured by people who didn't say a word when a guy tried to assassinate every Republican he could on a baseball field or didn't say a word about rhetoric? When a guy nearly assassinated Brett Kavanaugh over his rulings on the United States Supreme Court, has that feel to be scolded and have a finger wagged in your face that it's our fault that some whack job breaks into Paul and Nancy Pelosi's home. You know, sometimes we need to accept that violent, unhinged people, do violent unhinged things, and we've sure seen a lot of that in the last few years in America, but to blame political rhetoric for violence like this is almost comical when the same people chirping and harping about political violence are utterly mute when it is a leftist.
Jennifer Horn Talks Hawaii and Gas Prices
"Oh, it was a great trip to Hawaii. And you know what's really funny. This is not great, but for the people I was in, I was on the island of Maui, and stunning is that when you think about Hawaii you think, okay, they've got it all made over there. The only problem is that they have to pay a lot of money for gas. Do you know the California is paying a dollar more on average per gallon of gasoline than no, no, no, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. I've been to Hawaii. So California is the biggest state. The biggest economy in America. And it's a rather large piece. It is connected to the rest of America. Now why is a little island three and a half hours flight away that has to have everything, everything, even the tins of spam have to be flown in or shipped in there. If you know Hawaii, you understand that reference, did I just hit you right? That the little island of Hawaii has cheaper gas than California. Typically when we go to Hawaii because I hadn't been in three years every year I go with the job that I do with my dad. We have a radio business as well. And so they're so kind they send us for a week. Every almost every year over the last ten years or so, and whenever I go to Hawaii, I always go, oh, those gas prices. I can't imagine. Now they're a dollar cheaper than what I'm paying in California. It's ridiculous. They're paying over $5. We're still paying over $6 in California. Help me out, Jeff. I have a job with Salem and I get sent to Philly to ganja downtown. She works for CRN talk and she gets to go to Hawaii. How does that work, Jeff? And don't we have an affiliate in Honolulu, I think? Can you just fix that
Sebastian Chats With David Kangas, VP at Cornerstone Real Estate
"The people that I trust are the cornerstone real estate team that have an amazing system that provides you with tax deferment and we are joined today by their vice president David canis, David. Welcome back to America first. Doctor gorka, thank you for having me today. All right, so there's so much concern and it's all reasonable it's all justified out there. You look at the market, you look at instability, you look at stocks and shares, so explain to us why this system, whether it's the Delaware statutory trust or whether it is this special ten 31 tax deferment system, why this is something people who understand the liabilities of the current market look at this and say, you know, I'm going to go with that. Yeah, that's really a great question. And the first response I would have is keep in mind that real estate is not directly correlated to the stock market. So for those that have real estate, they are looking to exit that for a number of reasons, the world is just kind of gone sideways. They are looking to kind of capture that exit value. A ten 31 exchange into a DST can be a great option. But beyond that, those who have been invested in the stock market, they're looking to sell their business. They're very concerned about what's about to happen. And they are looking to take an exit if they have capital gains, doctor gorka, they can shelter that by investing into opportunities zones funds, which are literally helping to rebuild American communities across the country.
Expert Brett Velicovich on How Drones Have Changed Warfare
"Emphasis at the beginning of the war, that drones have the way drones were used in the beginning. It has changed the mode of warfare. Would you concur? Absolutely. I mean, I keep talking about that Ukraine is almost a Super Bowl of drones. That's why I'm out there. The innovation taking place on the front lines, the amount of drone technology that is being used is unlike anything I've ever seen. You have almost this David versus Goliath mechanism of drone technology on one hand, you have Ukrainians who are literally taking the same type of drones you could buy off Amazon and figuring out ways to modify them and turn them into war machines, whether that's creating 3D printed parts that can drop a 120 millimeter mortars or grenades and send them over into Russian territory. And then you've got the other side of the fence where the Russians are flying larger, state owned type of drones, a type of drones that I'm used to in the military. And then
The Significance of Iranian Drones Over Ukraine With Brett Velicovich
"Can you explain the significance? Of Iranian drones flying over Ukraine? Well, from a strategic standpoint, it tells me that Russia is a little bit low on their arsenal. That's without a doubt as to where they're going to other countries to bring in this military arsenal. But Iranian Shah had drones, they are very unique, quite frankly, from a technological standpoint, they're pretty impressive as well because of the way they fly. When they're launched out of these containers, they basically don't have a remote behind them. You don't have a remote control or a person physically controlling that drone. You just put a GPS point a latitude longitude and it gets sent into its target. So it's very difficult for, you know, to be able to defeat that from electronic warfare. And so one of the photos, the photos that you just mentioned, that was taken down. You've got these sort of electronic warfare jamming guns that are actually dropping these drones out of the sky. And so the significance of these Iranian drones, I mean, they pack such a huge punch. When I was in Kyiv last week, we were under constant air alarm constant sirens because there was this worry that the more Iranian drones were going to slam into the middle of the city. And I visited some of the sites where the Shah heads had actually struck and it, you know, you've got a hundred pounds of explosives on the warheads of these drones. So you can imagine sort of the terror that brains and not only that, the psychological effect of it, right? These things fly very slow. They're very loud, like a lawn mower in the air. And so the civilians can almost follow and hear these things as they, as they move across the tops of these buildings and almost just wondering where it's going to strike. So it is causing a lot of damage and the Ukrainians trying to figure out a solution to it.
Brit Hume: Never Seen Anything Like John Fetterman's Performance
"Brit humes take Britt Hume over at Fox News has been around a long time and he was on TV last night. Telling Brett bear, he's never seen anything like it. Well, I have been watching this and covering this stuff for more than a half a century, and I've never seen anything like that performance by fetterman last night. I'm hearing some commentary and his defense that says, look, you know, he's just going to be elected to the Senate and the only thing that matters in the Senate is whether you consider the Senate floor and vote I, yay or nay. But anybody who's ever covered the place knows there's a lot more to it than that. You have to be able to debate on the Senate floor to venture points to defend them. The same is true if you're called upon to offer amendments that you have an amendment to a bill that's very important to your constituents. You've got to be able to make the case for it in committee. You got to build a defendant. You got to do the same thing on the Senate floor. You have to be able to engage your colleagues outside the Senate chambers and outside the hallways of the outside in the hallways and in their offices to round up support for what you're doing. All of those things are things that John fetterman, based on what we saw last night is not now capable of doing. It's pretty striking. Beyond striking, okay? Now, if that wasn't bad enough, how about leftists and people so desperate and afraid that there's going to be a big red wave in 12 days? That they went into overdrive, attacking Doctor Oz, who again, if you watch the debate, was an absolute gentleman was gracious, not one time did he mock or denigrate fetterman's clearly impaired condition,
A Montage of John Fetterman's Debate Performance
"Here's a little Salem news channel Montage of the shocking moments in the John fetterman, Doctor Oz debate in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania night before last. Hi, good night, everybody. He has never met an ear, an oil company that he doesn't swipe right about. It's about supporting and helping young earners. Young young students, to give them a break, I believe that supporting I do support fracking and all right, I support fracking and I stand and I do support fracking. I believe China is not our friend and I believe that we can't be able to push back. Our next star poll shows 51% of Pennsylvania voters disapprove of the president's job performance. You have publicly supported many of his policy positions. Are there any that you disagree with 30 seconds? No, I just believe he needs to do more about supporting and fighting about inflation, going through this kind of emotional schools, able to create a career to Wayne reach a lot of high salary and supporting reduce those costs are critical to. His family's company was, it was levy, the largest fine for in hiring of immigrate illegals. Now, again, this is unprecedented. We've never seen anybody run for office at this level in this condition. Here was Brit humes take Britt Hume over at Fox News has been around a long time and he was on TV last night. Telling Brett bear, he's never seen anything like it.
"brett " Discussed on The Lead
"Any public facing thing that Brett Favre had done or was doing is on pause for now. And rightfully so. I think it is certainly redefined his legacy. No matter how well someone can sling a football, you are siphoning money from disadvantaged families and people in need to advance your vanity project. So I think this has really put into context. His legacy and his role as a favored beloved son in Mississippi because I don't think someone that rightfully deserves that title would be misusing and misappropriating funds for people in need. Katie strang, Kaitlyn kaler, thanks so much for joining us today. Thanks for having us. Thank
"brett " Discussed on Five Rounds with Brett Okamoto
"Thank you've made the changes that you need to make in order to win the fight and in truth. The fight doesn't even become close. That's difficult you start to question whether your talent level is good enough whether you're training is good enough whether you can ever get back to the level that you've wants work but what i hear after the ryan span fi is a fighter. That's confident in who. He is a fighter that feels like he's gotten his groove and a fighter that can now look back at the rockets. Find say you know what. I kind of see what i did wrong there. I've correct some things. I think it's time to get that opportunity again. And he knows that. Now we're both to top fighters in his division. Oh and by the way the dude standing at the top of the light heavyweight division is no longer to king is no longer a guy. That's run through everybody. It's no longer a legend. It's a guy who we know through. His career has been very beatable. Here is my chance. And so i love this about fighting that you get to call out who you want and like he said. Hey man merry christmas to me because it seems like alexander rockets wants to fight as well. Yeah he does. Rockets was immediately accepting. Oh anthony smith and that's what you gotta do when you get be in your on a downturn you go back you fix things you get the ship going in the right direction and you head back down the path of chasing down the championship. Now what you don't see very often is a lot of people. Say that last guy that beat me is the one that i want to beat in order to propel myself. That's that's crazy. That seems as though it's crazy right you would seem to want to be away from that guy. Right is what anthony smith is. Listen minutes and og gene. Dues fought over fifty times. And he's not even his mid thirties early thirties. The dude is a savage and he's an og smart. I worked with him at the desk at times. Anthony smith the very smart guy in regards to fighting breaking doll. fighting stomach. factory acts is a very good team. Does this sound familiar. You've got one device that lets you catch the game live another that. Lets you stream your favorite shows..
"brett " Discussed on Five Rounds with Brett Okamoto
"I think i got some big decisions to make in my career and figure out where we go from here. You know. it's super frustrating. To to lose to a guy that the that you feel like you can be once. I got inside of the kicking range. I i didn't. I didn't feel like he was boxing. Me the second round on as far as the striking. When i felt fine once i adjusted the range. I got to the clinch. Like i wanted to. You got to his body. Just i wasn't able to finish the a lot of those spots. So i don't know one eighty five still really tough. It's a total lifestyle change in its year round. It's not like one of those things where i can get into camping in. Change change my diet and cut down. It's a complete lifestyle change. Which is i guess. That's one of the options and all the guests. The other options is takes time often in gear bigger. So i don't know got some things decided. You know when you look at anthony smith here right. He's very concerned and he has. A lot of questions are seating. But let me tell you why these questions were going through his head rockets. I'm sorry i called him breakage before. Alexander rockies is a prospect right in when you lose a championship fight and you have a young hot guy on his way up the rankings. They will put you in front of him. Almost as a stepping-stone. So when ashley smith loses this fight he starts to see himself as maybe a bit of a gatekeeper right here. Don't want that in your career but then you lose to work rock edge and then they put you in there against clark another guy who was doing good in time prospect beef now with jimmy crew. Who's supposed to be the man on his way up your beat him then. You put him in that ryan's plan another young garden. You beat him. So anthony smit who may have been thinking of himself as a gay people a year ago has now shut the door on three prospects and that is why he was so emotional because we start to lose two guys john jones. Losing to anymore you lose to a guy like rocket who you don't see as the man at the time you start to question things but he seems to have gotten it all right and when you watch him in there. He's five with more confidence. Never seen that spent fight with no. He's absolutely fighting with more confidence. But you also have to think of where. The time line was at that point. Dc you lose to. John jones you lose to go over to sarah and then now you you lose two rocket. It's you're starting to think to yourself in my evening even a championship contender tool five anymore. And now when you start contemplating life which is what he's doing right. He's concentrated like maybe i need time. All maybe i can't even compete at this weight anymore. That's difficult you know. What are and. I'm glad you said that because that is seeing guys in real time only say how fighting is the most naked. You could be right right most on display. You see that one. Anthony smith right. You've seen in a real time a guy trying to make these decisions because even though you lose a game you're set and you lose a fight. Still stick that cameron you face. Your task wood processing does that. You really can't do an and that's the hard part for me. It's not only that you're vulnerable in the sense that you're there for the world but you just lost you just lost the fight and when i listen to what he was saying after the rockets fight here is what i hear. I actually made the adjustments. I thought i needed to make to win. I was able to get within kicking range. Because if you remember that fight to lay kicks were very heavy early right. The the loan range fighting was going in alexander rockets way very early and he felt like he changed it so to feel like you make adjustments..

"He did it was an old man a man that should not have been in there with detour hats off to veto for going on door when he was supposed to do. I didn't this was never a knock on veto. Always about vander. I just thought vander would get it done. And he didn't. It was sad is very sad that these guys you know. We always talk about our legends on their backs. I feel like that was the most extreme case that i've ever had to see. And i saw larry. Holmes beat on muhammad eileen right. I heard stories about muhammad ali last few training camps where they wouldn't let the cameras at there anymore because sparring partners were beating him up. That was horrible to see holyfield. Go out that way. But when we talk about legends not only do our legends fight longer today. Never have some of them seem to turn back the clock and we saw that last week. In which your boy anderson zillah and we saw that when he beat julio cesar childish and then he goes in knocks tito ortiz would a beautiful hook dude it. The hook bank stepped off. Could cheat a one more time and knocked down. How real is this. How real is this anderson. Silver reboot that we're seeing the octagon because ryan i'm buying. I'm buying all the stock in the end and silva boxing that we see today because he looked phenomenal against tito. Listen i think. I expected anderson silva to look phenomenal against tito ortiz. In a boxing match. I think anderson not even a question was the more skilled striker inside the octagon and having seen him in ring against chavez. You knew you know this guy. And this legend has actual boxing skill. And he just displayed that. I mean you could tell. It was the ole anderson silva when he would lean against the octagon and move his head. Tito stolen babyhood babyhood baby hook anderson duck swan. Yeah hits like. That's who anderson silva is like. I am in no way shocked by that what i'm interested in is. Where does anderson silva take this now because boxing has changed. Boxing is no longer just about the canaveral alvarez. Boxing is no longer just about who can be champion. Whether it's wbo abcd or whatever it is the type of organizations and belts that they have bossing has turned into now people wanting to see guys fight that they're interested in so you could be as good as but crawford is now and understand that he's a trained killer within the ring or you can be anderson silva or you could be jake. Paul at people are actually in tune and want to see this happen so the next step is what who does anderson suva fighting next. Is it another boxer. Who is a little long in. The tooth is it. Someone knows that crosses over from the mixed martial arts world and want to make some more money or why. Not jake paul. That's the do that's fighting. Who is over the hill former. Mma fighters anyway anderson silva is one of the biggest names. You could possibly get so. Do you think that. Jake paul should now take on anderson silver. He seemed to take a step up right been aspirin. I feel like in the boxing match. I could at least last right tyron. Woodley the guy who hasn't not someone out and years hasn't won fight in and wasn't necessarily a true striker. He had power but wasn't necessarily true striker. When you forty listen. I've punch things lately. They don't really move as much as they moved. When i was twenty seven and so now to anderson silva who shown with inside within inside ring he can hold his own. He's one hundred ninety pounds. And i believe the he beats jake paul. And that's the reason jake. Paul doesn't wanna fight him because you can't get beat by dude who people perceived to be that direct.

"He went in loss to brock lesbian. So it's going to also be on then took men in the wwe. Take care of gable book him like an absolute monster so that when he does decide to come to the ufc. He has a massive fan base. Yes in the money will represent that. That's why brock did so well. Brock never fought in a ufc for less than seven figures even when he was one in one zero already. He was making seven figures. He was such a massive song but gable needs to insist that he is booked correctly in the wwe because nothing hurts more than seeing him go from the olympic games winning ncwa titles to getting pin. My some random do right in the middle of the www from getting pin by like some guy like me. They're like you can't let me tell you. So there are guys ryan. There are guys that. Wwe that are not even like you there. Two hundred pounds and you remember when the one back in the data one. Two three kids razor. Ramon raise six kids. Like five seven removes the demand right propelled kid but that could kill a guy like sees. Well i'll tell you. What if i ever get into the wwe. I'm bringing back a ravishing rick rude because that was my goal. That was my guy. But we're talking. When you speak a brock lessner you you speak of an icon. You speak with name that when you say this name. People who understand whether it's combat sports who love wrestling. They know that. Nate evander holyfield is another guy that when you say that name people who love boxing you know that name evanger holyfield was one of my first champion it was one of the dudes that my dad look right. The first the first boxer that actually got into was was mike tyson for. I thought mike tyson was was the baddest man to ever walk the face of the earth when he loses to buster douglas. I was like. Oh that's just the blimp. you know he. He had a tough life. He had a tough marriage and he's gonna come back and start bacon. Excuse eight start making excuse. I definitely started making excuses. But then when you watch and fighting vander holyfield and you see that type of skill that type of toughness and the way that the way that he fought. Mike tyson made mike tyson bite his ear and then now to watch evanger holyfield near sixty right to to see him even in training to fight obviously not be where he so post to be to get a fight sanction and then the watch him walk into the ring against veto bill for and get kayode in such a short time in such embarrassing fashion. It was said to me. I'm going to be honest. i have. There's nothing about me that likes this. There's nothing about me that thinks it's ok and in playing football. When cussin' protocol became a huge deal. I remember sitting in. Nfl pa meetings as an executive committee meeting member. And saying i come from a time where we weren't protected like this where we didn't have the information like this where toughness and showing people that you were tough. Were playing through. Injuries playing through dizziness. Or whatever it is. And so. I said to them you are going to have to find people to take care of people like me to make decisions for people like me when i can't make those decisions for myself because i wasn't brought up that way i didn't learn that way. I didn't train that way. We needed somebody to make a decision for vander holyfield that he couldn't make for himself and they did not do it. And that is sad and it pisses me off and it should have never happened. Dc you know what's crazy is i don't care in didn't care how bad event and looked on the pats. I still thought and publicly said it regardless. He'd beads veto bill for the boxing match. Which i think that shows my ignorance in not understanding where vanda holyfield is today I'm still remembering the guy that you remember the guy that would get all beat up and still go forward instill banner battering bruce break you down. I remember that. A van to holyfield. So i was hoping that if i squinted hard enough. That guy would show up on saturday night..

"Walk into a new episode of dc are see. I'm daniel eight. That's my guy. Ryan clark bristol in our see now i see how you can get real busy during the football season because i see you everywhere would a fire suit on the day of my guy. That's what you gotta do man. You know when they turn the heat up. You got to be ready to go. But i will tell you this. I've been looking forward to getting back with you. And getting back on this show for two weeks. Hurricane ida took us off for a little bit you held us down with ask dc. But now it's time to get into some of these real real kim in me. You know what my man is. Good to have you back. I'm happy you and your family got through everything safe to all the good people in louisiana. I hope you guys are bouncing back with coming up on this show. We will discuss prospects in sports. Because we saw quarterbacks make their debut last weekend we also patty permanent weeks ago. We never got to discuss that. Then we'll talk about my guy. Gabled steve sin signing with the wwe was that the right move. And lastly are c-. Are we going to see anderson silva vs. Jake paul would world. Did you ever think that would even be a possibility to see anderson j. Paul i before anything else ryan. We gotta talk about your boy. I mean this dude. Cada mcgregor is at the vm. As over the weekend and he gets into a fight on the red carpet with mgk. Look i gotta be honest which. I barely know who. Mg k. is. So when i hear takata mcgregor's funded in g k. I cannot believe it. rc lemass you. When you look at things from the outside and we watch com gregor all the incidents you talk about. The gimmick has conor mcgregor lost control of the gimmick right. Is he now living. The character is getting the best of it. Why don't necessarily know if the character is getting the best of conor mcgregor because this character is who conor mcgregor is. It's what made him. It's what people fell in love with when he was winning fights but see. That's the difference when he was throwing cranes buses and when people were on that bus and they were hurt oh where he was fighting in bars in ireland. A lot of these things were happening but he was still winning fights and so he had kind of turned into the bully right. What he started with started like petty has started. It was a guy you rooted for. He was fun and he was braggadocious. But then when he got into the octagon he put people to sleep. Those things have changed now and when those things start to change sodas our perception of the person. I don't necessarily know if conor mcgregor is now any different vinnie ever was and i'm gonna tell you this. Dc because this is what. I've learned whether you're a fighter whether you are a football player whether you are an actor and entertainer a rapper or whatever it is all that money and success does to you is amplify who you truly are right. If you're a dude that would fight on red carpets. If broke you. Don't for sure ray corporates if you've got money because now you can post bail and so one thing. I do this machine gun. Kelly can not beat up conor mcgregor so it was more than anything for everyone and this is what i'll tell you about machine gun kelly if you will know a little bit about him. He's from cleveland. He's a rapper. But the thing that he's most famous for dating megan fox. And so you don't want to mess up. That pretty face fooling with conor mcgregor owner red carpet. Conor mcgregor has to think about this though. Who does he want to be. Dc who does he want to be perceived as because to a fighter like you you think. It's a gimmick but to people who are now paying money so to watch jake. Paul fight may being character is more important than being a champion..

"There's also guys out there right more inventory. There's also a paulo kosta nominee matchups ups and he could take in order to further his title contender ship. But i think this one works the absolute best. It's an interesting time for the middleweight. Divisional because now you've got a whole bunch of guys jumping along the top that could potentially challenge gives a question for you. I have a big big fight or question for you though. Is there a fear. If you're taking the brunson winner or you're fighting against cost of tory that you could lose that losing that fight in the same way and losing to robert whitaker puts you out of potential at least didn't have you with that next step to fight for the championship. If i'm jared kenan near should i be worried about that and saying even though the money is good in the money is needed. I rather wait on that championship. Bout because it's more is more money and opportunity to be even richard. And i've ever been if i win. You know the thing about jared cannon near is that he's not afraid right in people kind of wired differently like in football ryan you guys rush out to a your eight and seven you know you gotta go to nine seven to make the layoffs. There's no right not play that team that might be elected tendon five. You know what i'm saying. You gotta go plant. And i think the same thing would finers right. We gotta go in just fight. The fight injured near isn't really worried about his position. Because even in losing to rob whitaker his stock roles he broke his arm. He broke his okay. A battery it was able to go five rounds with the former champion and be competitive in a lot of spots so that one win over. Kelvin gasoline still elevates jared cannon near to a position where he could challenge for title but there until has a great mouthpiece right guy loves to tall. They're brunson's on the best ryan of his entire career so if he wins one more over one of those guys it truly would catapult him into a legit title shot challenger against john in one visual it would be to see the bees that is jared cannon near fighting the tall and he athlete that is israel at assignment. It'd be fantastic to see those guys mixed up in the octagon you know last weekend. Whatever we did the show we.

"Tuesday morning. I was in here at five o'clock in the coal tubs. And i was straight to the video straight to the film so i could be prepared for wednesday mornings meeting knowing what we head if you can do all those things you were okay but it was. When you didn't that you felt like a failure. That was when. I had to come home and hug my kids. That was when i needed consolation. Because i understood that. I had failed me and i had felt my guys. I feel like for uc fighters in ima may fighters. You always feel like failure. You don't get your hand race and the mental toll and emotional toll that takes on you guys. I couldn't imagine why every single time i fought was was a super bowl right. Every time i fought for it was my super bowl right in when you're dealing with that type of pressure because we're out there for an eighteen thousand fifteen thousand seventeen thousand twenty thousand. I've never had to fight unless it was in those main events so there was a ton of pressure there. But the one thing that you don't want right especially a team sport and this is why ryan when it was time for us to make our decisions. We're leaving high school. I didn't have the best grades rights. I would have to go and do things in judy college. But i really didn't want to rely on anyone else why russell why didn't go play. Football wanted to just be count on myself. Because what does it feel like when you're sticking needles into yourself but your teammates high five guys. Because he had that great game. So it's like it's not everybody is of the same mind frame because ryan every time people laugh at me when i cry when jones beat me in anaheim art cried when steve big at me are at cried after my last fight. Those tears are earned. Those tears are earned. Don't get the crowd enough big. Those tears aren't too hard. Work is because i put so much of myself into everything that dole's tears are earned. So when you see athletes like page. Are you see neo meal soccer. Say i just can't do this. It's so much bigger because so much goes into preparing yourself four in actual competition for something at the professional level. There's a reason that it's called professional. That fifty second guy on nfl roster will smash anybody that you've ever seen a called a great football player that guy. That's number twelve on the bench on the basketball team. He is the best basketball player. You have ever. Late is on in your life. There's a reason. These athletes are professionals. It here's a reason that these people that go inside the man women man woman whoever goes into there are professional fighters because they are different in when there are different and cry in front of you to be judged for the world they have put so much work in those fears are earned in that work so when you see people just rushing to the back saying it's okay is it because they know deep within themselves they don't deserve they have not earn the ability to cry over loss. I think what you just said though was was so profound in this aspect. Dc so many times people see great athletes through their achievements in through their accomplishments in through those achievements and accomplishments gained him right. That the fact that you get fame the fact that you make money into that money and through that success you get more opportunity. People don't understand that for daniel cormier. This started wrestling in lafayette. And when he started doing that it was pure as it could possibly be people. Don't understand that when i lose super bowl. Forty five that the love for that game in the journey to that point started when i was four years old on the west bank mellat park in gretna and all of those things come to a combination. And you've worked so hard and you put you all into that and when you lose it it should matter that much. i think. That's what people miss. And when someone like page benzon comes out and says what she's dealing with. We shouldn't we shouldn't joke about it. We shouldn't laugh about it. What we should do is listen. You should listen and learn that. This is the type of dedication. This is the type of discipline. This is the type of focus that it takes to be an elite level athletes. But it's also the type of toll that it puts on your body your mind in your so and i think now more than ever. We're seeing athletes discuss these things be vulnerable about these things yet. Still come back and fight still. Come back and compete. They'll come back and play. And that's where we are in twenty twenty one and i hope athletes continue to speak up. I hope people like you. Who have done it. At the highest level who now watch it analyze it dissect it at the highest level. Continue to support those going through the same things that you were going through because there are so many lessons to be learned. I think that the 'vulnerability athletes show today is welcoming because for a long time. You know that. Michael jordan charles. Barkley and larry bird on those guys were unattainable. We could never touch them. We could never touch barry sanders we could never get an insight into who barry sanders was. I think when these athletes are open like that in there there their so available we need to use it for the right thing and accepted in the way that they're giving it to you because they're not nearly as guarded as they were before. Now when a guy like lebron james walks from a concert somebody rushes up one of many pushes them away. People wanna judge him negatively but the reality is he's right because he has to be right but now with people are open when they are vulnerable. You judge them as weak. So you gotta really choose what lane you want these people you hold in such high regard to really be in otherwise. You can never really have access to matt ryan. This conversation has been insane. I love they were able to get in some dimensions of your profession my profession but the reality is the see off last weekend that were no fight which is very rare. Today's climate back this weekend with a middleweight banger. Between jared cannon near in kelvin. Gasol now both of these guys have been to the top of the division gasoline on you. In what is in classic an instant classic. The day we left we left the arena. We knew that this was going to stand the test of time Cannon here just got his chances number one contenders fight against rob whitaker both coming off losses. The stakes are massive. How excited are you to see these two top middleweights compete inside the ufc apex dc. I'm fired up because this is a fight with two men who saw themselves at the top of the sport with an opportunity to get belts and now they're fighting to prove that they deserve that opportunity again. You mentioned the gasoline israel out of sonya fight. That was an absolute war and going into the fifth royal israel out of sonya is talking to him so he talked to himself. Say you know what. I'm ready to die for this like. You can't beat me. Because i would they go about that mindset and not the mindset of saying it i don't want you to think about the mindset of saying take about being kevin gasol who is now watch israel out of sign you're going to beat romero and kosta and really show that at his weight class. There's no one for him. Think about the fact that he stood across issue out assign your while. He was on his rise and gave him the toughest fight other than yawn. Beating him when israel moved up the tool five. And now if you're jerry near you're thinking to yourself i just lose to. Robert whitaker had an opportunity in the number one contenders fight to show that. This is where i go that this is the next step for me. And you're getting a guy who.

"He was so close to on so many occasions but we saw jock herrera build a legacy that he and his family can be so proud of from the jujitsu stories. The breaking his arm sticking it in his g. Belt in order to finish the match to become into strikeforce champion some great performances that he had inside the and share the ufc two thirty Where he beat chris. Wiedeman showed off fantastic boxing jock array. My friend in has been an honor to watch. You compete congratulations on a fantastic career. Now enjoy your time. We talked a little bit about basketball. A while back in. You know. I'm one of those nerds in one of those freaks not only loves basketball but i love the ufc. I love fighting. So i'll watch detail. They don't let me do a football detail but here. I'm going to do a little walkout detail as we show you with your pounding your chest for the houston rockets. And not the milwaukee book so the pound a chest. we're going to wait a jumper. That's look at the lift. Look at the live right by cout burke lou on this jumper. Was this a free. "Title is awesome. You have a guy who's undefeated and a guy who beat the champion. It doesn't give you the two best heavyweights in the world for sharp fighting for the title. And what happens is when they fight francis. It's like the old days of the ib ibf versus the wbz champion and the unified the belt. That's exactly how i look at it. Look man. i know dana speaking to the wbz in the very smart because he talked about two of the biggest the largest sanction bodies in boxing right. He didn't say the. Wb you in the wvu continental americas he said the idea in the wbz because we understand the wbz wbo ib. Those are the ones that matt right. So he was very smart in that sense. But he talked about intro championships. Based on derek was beating francis on cyril gone being undefeated so it was value in that way now. Treks is the champion. And i said this longtime ago. This is essentially a number one contender's francis in donald is the heavyweight champ champion of the world and he's the baddest man on the planet because he knocked out the previous baddest man on the planet in steeping meal jr. But we start to bring interim titled into the fray. Everybody starts to call. For on saturday. Amanda nunez juliana opinion. Amanda defending the bantamweight title for the first time since december of two thousand nineteen. It's been a long time since she has had to defend that melt is juliana pay. You're right in calling for interim championship when she just saw one created after. Three months of the champions rain with amanda has not defended since two thousand nineteen. The thinks he's absolutely right for calling for interim championship. Because look at what happened to francis in ghana when he wasn't even inactive close to as long as amanda nunez has been in that weight division obviously. She's defended her belt in another way division. But this is the problem that amanda newness has created. it's not that she doesn't want to defend their belt. It sometimes who in the hell is. She going to defend her belt against. And if you are juliane opinion. Here's the reason. Here's the reason you call for the interim belt and there's this is true. This is how i feel one. I believe you call for the interim belt because that's the only way you're going to get a bill as long as amanda nunez is alive as she feels like fighting also to this allows this allows the ufc to build someone else there so many times when we know amanda nunez is going to get an opportunity to fight that we aren't even concerned with who her opponent is who our competitor is because what we're concerned with is how fast going to happen. And how was she going to decide to finish it. And so if you have someone like juliana pay that gets an opportunity to win the answering bill. And he knows just needs is not even the number one contender. It's going to be the first loser but at least then you're excited about you're excited about the other opponent and you feel like they can both enlist into prefight talk. Walk around with some goals because we all know. Walking out of the octagon with the gold. And it's not make comes out. Juliana juliana is going to get you out. Julianne opinion is going to get you see is me see is tough in which she sees as clip. Because i guarantee you. I am posting. This on social media juliana. Pain is going to get you. Now here's what disagree right. I don't think there should be an interim title because men in newness pulled off or something that out of our control right now with cold right like if she was just absolutely it's cove it like amanda was probably training and she got covert in the gym or something. So that's where. I disagree in amandas back into gym and she is saying now that she wants to fight in december so do have can wait to december. What i will say the ryan reasons why you see no. I don't disagree. I don't interim built no. I disagree because of colon. The only reason if it wasn't this cold that dig that then. I'll be like no no no fight right. It's cold it's cold. But that's the only reason i disagree with what you're saying what i do also disagree with a little bit. Is that due out. Pays a dog man. She's not she's she is going to be the toughest of fight. Amanda has had a really long dot ryan ryan. Would that being said ryan. I don't know how tough it's gonna be. would i know is. It'll be tougher than what megan anderson did last. Time are tougher than With the canadian girl did a couple fights ago at one forty five commandos. the police felisa spencer. I it'll be tougher than those fights. But i don't know how am i. Picking against the lion has no ryan make no mistake about it but i do believe it will be a little bit tougher. I'm gonna it's all about. I'm gonna play that it's all about the it's all about the. Don't you dare planet fernandez. Don't you dare try to make it. Like i'm going to say you get it you. Can't you feel like he's going. I'm gonna say it. I never said. I never said that. I'm saying that this island storm these that. Amanda has i'm a bit scatter amanda. Newness i have a biscuit. Knew that won't be an honest with all. The titles that are made in nunez has right. she's in rarified. Air right it's it's a faction of people that don't really accomplish the things that she has but last week in our c. You spent time with a lot of people that have won championships that have reached their ultimate goals. And then last weekend they joined where they will live forever. They were enshrined into the pro football hall of fame. Talk to me about what it was in. How did it feel to be surrounded by that much to hall of fame classes on one weekend to sue that greatness in one area ryan like i mean i i was. I'm so jealous that you got to experience that experience i tell you if you ever wanna make yourself feel extremely insignificant goto the pro football hall of fame and sit around those dudes and listen to the stories and listen to the things that they've accomplished not only individually but as a team but the one thing that was also was five pittsburg steelers winning a coach that i played for a coach collar offensive linemen that i played with in both college. Nfl and allen. Monica and obviously one of my closest friends in the world and troy paula. Malu into get an opportunity for to watch. Those men received their flowers for them to be alive to hear the things that people could say about him for the stadium to be packed with terrible towels towels in pittsburgh steelers fans but also listen to people like edgerrin. James take take a moment to step outside of himself and speak to the world and speak to society and give a call to everyone to be better. Because that's what the hall of fame of is about. The hall of fame is about the best of the best so to have an opportunity to use your platform. The way edgerrin james did or the way drew pearson did his excitement for finally make it into the hall of fame. It was truly a humbling moment for me and it's one of those experiences that you never think it's something you want to do. Like i've never wanted to go to the hall of fame and be around that event but now is something. I think i'll try to do each and every year because you learn something you feel something you take something away from a weekend like that. He has crazy to see All that greatness in one area man. And i'm just so happy that you got experience that and it's something that you want to do going forward in from all. Those guys getting inducted into the hall of fame in like you said receiving their followers. I wanna give my guy jock results of his flowers. Men on a great career former strikeforce champion spent years at the top of the ufc fighting the best of the best. Unfortunately never got that. You have c. Title white that. He was so close to on so many occasions but we saw jock herrera build a legacy that he and his family can be so proud of from the jujitsu stories. The breaking.

Because the ww wants him just as much as the usc. I'm going to the wwe. i i'm getting built into a monster over there. And then i'm coming to the usc. Mealy i'm at the top of cards in immediately. I'm getting bitten. You money immediately. I am the man that i bring that fan base. It's right off their game. He's a tremendous athlete. This i love the kit. We talked only play video right now. He's a tremendous kid. These in order to like right now. You're like the single like the single friend that keeps giving married friend bad advice and that's exactly why the single friend is single. No right telling you. I am telling you. Do brought. lesson made boatloads of money for the rest of his career. He was able to use the ufc negotiations with the wwe. You wwe negotiation with the usc because he was such a massive star ronald telling you. This is the way to go. If you're gable season that i might get a call from. I might get a call from the. "Fire already zoo already. So talk about. I feel honestly. Rc like he's like the evolution of mixed martial arts at the heavyweight division. And because i know francis big at francis powerful. We've seen guys like that before. Derek lewis is like that we have not seen a cyril gone. Know a guy that moves away to the moves that can pick you apart that can keep that rage in do the things that he's dog. That's one switch. This fight between derek zero well if you listen to derrick derrick say right i got twenty five minutes to touch him one time because he has that type of knock knock out power then zero gone on the other side saying you know what i don't necessarily think he's the best i- foot you know. This is the guy he can punch but he needs to work on his cardio. He doesn't necessarily have this larger array of skill and in general vets. Not trash talk. But if i'm derek lewis that's how i internalize it. Yeah and we want to come and we wanna see a black beast that is feasting a black beasts that is chasing a black beast that is trying to get that knockout on. I think we see that this fight and the winner of this fight understands what's the next challenge and even though you say to fight was born right you you say you didn't enjoy to fight. I remember a guy who used to play football talking to a former two division champ and saying that he thought another fight was born and all that guy told me was well. He won the fact that derek news derek. Lewis won the fight where you're fighting a guy like for instance and god knew that's what it takes that fights not that boring the next time and i believe what we see. This saturday is what we will get in a fight like that. And so two you. If zero god stands in front of derek lewis and show that a skills will we see that francis and gone new zero gone matchup or will it be derek lewis francis and god. I'm gonna tell you one thing. I can't pick that. This is what i love about. My job called the fights. I don't have to pick pick but guess what you'll learn inviting people hate when you pick against them. The fighters are the most sensitive human beings on the entire planet. But here's the thing for cyril gotten. This is massive because this gives them an opportunity to be in front of a big striker puncher. Like he's going to see in france and gone or not using for one fight josie aldo returns. One of your this is one at a guy. All right tell you that from conversation one you have always liked. And he makes the return on saturday. In the coleman event. How would you do the we see in the return. Because he's got another big step up he's out another big massive fight in front of him. You thank you you go back to watching him against pr guy. And he really just picked them apart Josie auto came out. Aggressive is first time back down at the weight and so now we get to see him against another fight moon. You'll soup needs this fight yet. He both of these guys are necessarily not necessarily gatekeeper. But trying to be back in a situation where it counted as contenders. He and a auto. I told you this a long time ago. When i told you why i liked conor mcgregor. He was the first small individual. I was actually scared of. Can we see that type of explosives explosiveness. Do we see it again. Or does josie aldo. Even if he wins tonight never get an opportunity to contend for a championship. Is he's a guy like anderson silva who we will see fight other dudes who are coming up in the ring so they can say. I fought anderson silver i fought josie aldo. And now the ufc and dana. White gets to say you'd be the legend we can move you up and make you a contend josie aldo still is very viable. The problem is when you've lost it a champion right and you have recreated yourself to get to this weight class. It's hard to envision a time where he becomes that true contender again. Is it not possible. I will not say that. Because i will never pull the curtain back on a guy that wants to fight right. I can't do that. i refused you. But if you look at everything. Pedro munoz jones a algal. It does not look like right. Now is a time. Where does two are going to be contending for championships. Especially when out. Jemaine sterling is fighting against peoria. Yon in tj dillashaw kind of waiting in the queue. But this is a great step in a very fun fight yet. That will lead to something bigger. Especially for pedro munoz. Avian get past joe's aldo. Which will not which will not be easy. Josie still possesses unbelievable power. He's still extremely athletic. In the guy is still motivated to become a champion regardless of what we talking heads. The guy that's still wants to talk here. What's he wants he wants you. Hold that belt. You never lose that desire to become the ufc champion. I know that josie although that's still burns deep inside of him but let's get back to manscaping. We go one more time to our good friends over at manscaping now. I don't know if i grab the same at re twice. I'm not exactly sure but let me pull here pool here. This is what happened when dc our are on site there it is go again right. Breaking news guys important. Psa brought to you by manscaping dot com..

"Hey what's up guys. Dan cory welcome to part. Two of this week's dc and rc age. He's gonna be a stock and guys that are already. Stars are fighting on saturday night. And i'm talking about one guy that his name resonates people love him. He's okay you're okay. Did their canes gets to walk out in front of his whole town. Not as whole his adopted hometown of houston. He's from new orleans. Originally as he takes on zero gone forty interim heavyweight championship with a world. Now i asked you. This are seat. We love to talk about the match of. We won't do that. We wanna talk the story to you. What's more exciting there. Louis and francis gone new fighting again and what was one of the worst fights in the us. History of we're being honest. He said the history. Australia is in the back. I was in the back waiting to fights debate falling asleep. These dudes would not jump. I running around in the circle. Not doing anything but if you look at the black these look at this. This has got wins knockouts. He does everything so you know it can be exciting. So are you excited about that rematch. Hoping it's better or ciro gone winning. Having coach fernando lopez in this corner who was francis coach in his wife was the ipad i wrote. Why are you being petty him so messy. You have no. Hey how this has nothing to do with the actual light is. He's in no matter. A messy ron. I'm the person that vying starting fights between the kids in the neighborhood. It's what i do. I love dealing and all the intimate veins they that i'm here to be the petty messy when you're gonna give us all this great trial the fight. No i'm not giving you notice on the show right. I want to know for you. The are you interdependence front. His love lethargy. So now for has another guy who's undefeated can go to france vitamin my god became. The champ has defeated fighter. So what he's so. So so why. Why did francis leave. His coach was their reason. Did he say anything you know. It seemed like it all fell apart after the loss in boston. Too steep a right e kind of movie left france moved to the us full-time and became the champ for obviously he made the right decision. But now isn't it like a tail as old as time. It's like it's like an old karate loser in the eighties way. You leave your said saying he gets a new guy to get you have myself so i'm not going to do like you turn my back on popeye's like you was was made derek not like you in the first place then. Yeah you can't believe turned to five you know. He's he's he's a new orleans guy not now in houston but that story does resonate to me to have an opportunity to talk about a coach in the words you use that keeps ringing in. My ear is built another guy. You shouldn't have saying so taking a guy from scratch a guy who who is big like you and now giving him this different skills right. We've seen surreal gone. Get into the octagon guys right. We've seen him use his power. We've seen him use his kicks. Honestly show us a different array of skill that we never saw with francis and gone to especially early like this but for me to say that i don't wanna see derek lewis and win this fight and get an opportunity to show us that standing on the outside of france in gondal is not something that he's going to do a second time but look at this. Look at the list at zero gone can join if he wins. This weekend. franson gone. New junior dos santos cain velasquez radical tour. Those are names that will live in history of mixed martial arts but for me i think about zero gone. And he's a soft spoken guy right. He understands that. It's not a big top trash-talker. He talks with his hands and his feet and his movement. And i really do believe that. When i look at him i try to chill. Who had a big chill.

Sure but that you're even saying that there's an attempt you're making me think of the second season of the british office when they when they really went like it was hard now. It's my favorite season. Yeah but it went real goofy left and it wasn't just more of the same. Oh i think jason jokes about it but moser means it. This is the empire strikes back. This is like this is their best price. but i'd states funnier. but it's docker steeper and it's upset you because what made me keep watching. Crashes so we got star run. Not she's going to be a nightmare. That's what i'm assuming. I'm like oh she's going to be difficult. I seem to you. it's going to be of your your from crashes villian amazing you. Bill ended that so much as the best and she was a great writer. as why. don't you kept writing on the show. Even when she was on the says she knew what it was like to be on a show and writing for the show. Boy that's great. I love that. I really enjoyed that. That story is gonna give me the chills while i'm paying bills as they say the dream. What gives us before you go okay. Sorry i'm just like. I don't wanna wrap up. Give me your top five favorite films. Just do it. Just shut the fuck up. They'll give me to know what it is. Just do it. Don't be tired of it. we're talking. Look i can. I can give you too easy. Yeah singing in the right okay. Don't look now watchdog. Now at fucking loved and i think the real objectively. It's no necessarily my favorite. But i think as a piece of film it's really good. It's the deal nestle about time in fucking tool bunch this yeah weird. It was hard to watch. Because i have kids hit. I think it must be yeah map. A christmas carol number one christmas carol. Yeah if someone sees you marry look at you and they see a seven foot muppet. Ghost of abundance ghost is. He's not a ghost he's just fun he's president. He signed president. He's present he can only last two days it fly he only today that fucking oh but light came into your life and told you you were the guys christmas present from up aggressive and you put a ring on it. I did quite right. That's right dynamic a guy but also be free. I don't own her. I only want happiness for her and they've happiness involved not be with you then you fucking guy who that's right. And if she comes back she comes back. I'm surprised because he was kinda jedi is surprising. Say quick so good. Hit chris where i love i. Where did i get to sing the right kind of magnolia. Yeah and yeah. I don't like the kid and his dad father one. You need to be nice to kills me every time. Great movie my favorite fun fact about that movie eaten when p. anderson sat down to write it. He said not knowing what was going to be he said. I want to write a great movie so to me. It speaks to have the goal. Like maybe about my spoiler. If you haven't seen it skipped forward a bit. Yeah but it ends with this guy. mpv zammit etc. When things it means is he said. Pt anderson that.

This is one of the ways. I so.

"Not possible. When you're holding a clicker connected to iraq so it actually gives you a little more power or if your automatic and you want to go to a different side you have to present mode right exactly. I like people seeing that all the time like it to be a smooth but yeah it's it's the way that i go for sure. Now you use other apps than keynote though for your presentations right i do. There's a couple of ones that typically always keynote. Although i can use powerpoint and a lot of the same things we've been talking about apply to powerpoint as well. There's one time line app that i really like. It's a it's a gentleman that's been developing under the name Be docks as in as in the honeybee b. e. d. o. c. s. I don't know if there's if it's been updated in a long time. It's still available out there. It's only ten dollar app that you can download for the ipad. I don't use it a lot but if you've got a couple of events that you want to show you can you can bring this up and it's a very interesting three d. kind of a fly in fly out type of the mode So i will use that for like certain things to do A timelines obviously and you can attend pictures different documents there now that that was actually made by a friend of mine. He's a player and it. But i believe He has he not no longer actively developing it but it still works to and for ten bucks. I mean i've tried other time on apps and they just don't look any good. This one has like a nice look to it. I i would love someone to develop a timeline app for the ipad. That looks i mean. There's a couple out there. I've tried a few but nothing. I this is what i still go back to. And i like it I can't is his name. Adam what what is name that develops it adam beringer. Yeah i've met him once or twice and he's super nice guy like i said i don't know if it's actively being developed right now but That's still the one that i turn to. Because it's just the most polished it was made with finance. You know so. Many of these are just ugly. Yeah exactly but that is also a good example of one of these apps. I'm talking about a present mode because once you go into the present mode right. You can see the events listed on your ipad screen but if you're connected to a projector they don't see that list right. They they see the actual timeline. And then you can say whatever you tap on your ipad screen. It will zoom into that event on the actual projector on the screen. If that makes sense it's just it's it's a present mode as what i call it and i'm not sure of all the listeners. Know about this but there is a method for app developers on ipad to have a separate display on the pressure on the screen on an external display. And if you give presentations these are the apps. These are golden apps. Mino does it be docs does it. Oh you know and and so you actually have to code it in your app so there is kind of like a way to get separate data on an external screen but is only if the app developer actually accounts for it and then This other one on your list year trial pad is the king of that really exactly now this. I always tell people. David don't get hung up on the trial part of trial pad because this is meaning like a legal trial right. This is designed for trial presentations and most people will be familiar with it. Because you've seen movies like the rainmaker and things in the past other. What's never quite that. That fun But this app is what. I call more of like a A dynamic ability to president. And i say that because with keynote or powerpoint is more linear right. You design your slides and you know you can go to the next next next lie but with trial pad the ideas you bring up a an image or a document and you can do what we call a call out. You can draw like rectangle around a paragraph or a sentence and it zooms that out that little section so the documents still behind it but then that little section that you selected or drew a rectangle around will zoom out and then you have the ability to highlight texts and you can also do some annotations like drawing on it. Draw arrow or circle something on their very very effective functions. To make sure that your audience is looking at exactly what you want them to look at right. If you just put up a document there and you say hey. I want you to focus on you know paragraph three. Well most people are just gonna start reading at the very top and just keep on reading going to ignore everything that you say after that. Yeah but if you can show the document and then do a call out or zoom in to one specific paragraph and when people don't have the have option they have to look at what you look at and so even though this was originally designed in fact i just talked with the developer earlier today because they are continuing to do some great stuff on that it was designed for trial presentation but i've gone to even universities and talk to professors about you know when you're bringing up a document or something like considered using this don't don't get hung up on the trial part but this is a great way to make sure that people are paying attention to exactly what you want them to look at as opposed to reunite and everything else on the screen so the is not experienced a better way to present documents to an audience regardless of whether it's a trial in in in addition to all the tools brett mentioned there's highlight and redaction tools and everything you want and the cool thing. Is you control this on the ipad but the audience doesn't see it you push button on the app and then it uses that feature. I was just talking about this. Send the cool animation to the screen. So whether it's a projector big tv. They see the end result. They don't see you putting together and you do it dynamically if somebody asked you a question you can zoom in to that one paragraph and highlight the words that answer the question in push button in animates onto the screen like you know somebody from pixar designed it and It's just great. I had an might have told this story steven. Tell me if i if i have. I one of my last trials i did. I'm officially outta the trial business now. 'cause i i just don't want to do.
