"Are you happy about something you want to keep your tax cuts? You got a job. Maybe that you didn't have before. Life is good or you angry about something. What's driving you to the polar? Maybe you just want to see someone stay in or get somebody out. And Graham said something Lindsey Graham last week commented about this about this midterm election, as we know so much excitement about this midterm election. Here's what Lindsey Graham said to Republicans Kevin on the caravan. I mean, if you're a Republican you're not excited about voting you're legally dead Kavanagh and the caravan we know that the cavenaugh hearings really a fired up a lot of people. And I think if fired up some people who were maybe kind of on the fence, maybe a little bit, you know, a little apathetic about the mid term. And I the story about a friend of mine who lives in Virginia. Her son is a senior at the university of Virginia. And they watched it with his frat brothers, and he sort of made a huge impact on those guys. And I think the reason it made a huge impact on them there in college right now and this supposedly happened when Brad Kavanagh was in high school, and they see themselves. My husband said the same thing. He said, oh my gosh. How many men across America? Probably every man in America is watching this right now. Going wait a minute. If this is the basis for crucifying someone if this is the basis for denying someone a job just because someone comes back and says thirty years ago this happened, but they don't have a whole lot of details. Could this happen to me and that made a huge impact on them? And I thought that was really important in in the caravan. I think is important too. Because that is that is an across the board democrat Republican data's an across the board issue for a lot of people eight eight eight six three zero nine six two five Cavanaugh the cavenaugh here were deeply activating. I think across both political sides here, but on for Republicans, especially who didn't have any reason really to to celebrate congress. Right. I mean, Mitch McConnell, and Lindsey Graham and all these guys who Republicans have gone out of their way to be like, I don't have a high regard for you. Maybe I like Trump, but I'm not a big fan of congress. I have really low regard for them. Boy, did it look like have Bret Cavanaugh distributed spines on Capitol Hill during those hearings. So all of a sudden. Enthusiasm gap is closed. Republicans are now neck and neck with Democrats in terms of voter enthusiasm, even and then the caravan comes along and the biggest telling this entire caravan story, and there's all of this this having hauling about illegal immigration is how desperately Democrats don't wanna talk about the caravan. So so just by virtue of the tell that they're sending which is stop talking about this. This is an electoral distraction that is deeply suggestive of the fact that they think this is activating for voters voters who viewed view this from the perspective of the president. They think this is a winning issue for the president. So it's better to ignore it going into election day. I think there's plenty of reasons why people are rushing towards the pulse. We know Pelosi and Schumer sent out a memo telling them down everyone running don't talk about immigration because it's a losing issue for the Democrats. They wanted to focus on healthcare. And that's what they've done. They've put the focus on healthcare. And I have to say they've done a good job at it. Giving credit where credit is due are. I gotta go to Katie and Silver Spring here. Katie good morning, you're on mornings on the mall. What is driving you to the polls tomorrow? My next door neighbor. I want her to keep crying came over yesterday to tell me that the the signs in my yard capture from sleeping the night before. And could we please have a DMZ? See your your political science, make her cry? Yeah. While she was standing, there know how to DMZ I just could not come out the door and see those signs. They're all Republicans signs, and she's the person that puts up to Linda, Sarsour, our window whenever anything happens..

"Four seven news continues. Now on KOMO news. Bret Cavanaugh the newest associate Justice of the United States Supreme court Cavanaugh was narrowly confirmed by the Senate after a brutal confirmation process. He was sworn in Saturday night is the one hundred fourteenth Justice or the court as President Trump celebrated at a campaign rally in Kansas. I want to thank our incredible Republican senators for refusing to back down in the face of the Democrats. Shapeless scam. Structure, even his Cavanaugh took his oath of office in a quiet private ceremony. Protesters chanted outside the court building across the street from the capital. Meanwhile, komo's Patrick Quinn attended a rally at Westlake center in Seattle hundreds out here they did March to this after the federal courthouse in downtown Seattle. Again, all of this in protest to that Senate confirmation vote fifty to forty eight. Away for judge Breyer capital to be named into the supreme court. This is the second supreme court. Judge has been appointed by President Donald Trump. And you're seeing the hundreds that came out today here in downtown Seattle, part of thousands nationwide protest this confirmation, and the conversations talked about tonight, certainly women's rights along with momentum for November all of this just a couple months out before those November elections that could be very influential. Now, I did speak with Republican representatives today they will positive. They were they were loving this confirmation votes saying yes, indeed, it is momentum for the November elections. But as you're saying there are one hundred out here in Seattle to think otherwise women's rights, certainly a focal point after the allegations against judge Breyer Kavanagh does in Seattle very much a nomination confirmation vote of judge breath..

"Indoor Beck. And I wanted to read briefly from a New York Post opinion. Piece of the New York Post is in case you don't realize is owned by Rupert. Murdoch is like a conservative paper and this article was linked from the drudge report is their top trending article in the New York Post. Today, it is titled Democrats, cavenaugh assassination is reuniting the right Bret Cavanaugh is no longer a mere supreme court. Nominee. His name is now a veritable conservative. 'cause one that has United the right for the first time since the two thousand sixteen primary Senate Republicans quarreling over Trump and never Trump whatever the outcome of the immediate contest. It's increasingly clear that Democrats and the media establishment made an enormous miscalculation by waging total war against Cavanaugh and his family liberal set out to cast the federal judge. Aside amicable well, well-credentialled mildly conservative as a demon. In the process, they have reminded GOP voters and all, but the most stubborn never Trump intellectuals that there are worse things than Donald Trump's outbursts and the ineptitude of congressional Republicans. So I'll stop there for now. But that seems to be the big story this week. Now is that by asking this man about a sexual assault that somebody one hundred per cent identified him as having committed the left somehow, like fucked themselves in the midterms. I don't know. I mean, again, as we record this, the Senate has probably voting to confirm him Rev, or at least in the procedural vote. In then over the weekend, it'll be fully confirmed as supreme court Justice because the FBI report came out and all the votes that mattered like Jeff flake and Susan Collins, at least Mukasey were like. Don't see anything new here. So I got the cover. I need to make this a yes vote. And yeah, I think now that we're, it seems like there's a lot of energy now with this to feeling that the confirmation is basically a done deal that it's like, oh, yeah, okay. We got our win. But yeah, I don't know if that's necessarily going to that means that they've turned a corner in terms of how like the rest of the like potential voters are viewing these midterm elections. I totally see how. Yes it has become a cause in the sense that like we were saying, this has become more of like another culture war battle than one about whether or not someone should be a supreme court Justice. It's just it's us versus them. And what like everyone's putting on blinders to the world just to kind of, you know, see that battle out through that lens, but I don't know what I was saying because I'm so sort of deflated by everything that's happened. Right. It's really sad, and it's just a weird feeling because last week felt like I don't know. I felt like a raw nerve kind of as a just a woman and seeing other women relive so much trauma, and but feeling like for a second, like I feel stupid for even feeling like this. But I was like, this matters like this and it does Matt, does you? She does matter dealing with you, but like I was like, you know, maybe there will be a different outcome. And now it just feels like no, right? Yeah. It really reminds me more and more of the aftermath of the access Hollywood tape because it was like, well, this is clearly discworld. Surely this, right? Like not a single woman will vote for Trump and surely like at least fifty percent of the population will be outraged at Cavanaugh and. You know the way that he was allowed to come on and just shout at senators while she was like, had to be nice and mild mannered, Dr. Ford and no, it's just I think it's never what we expect because we're so far apart. But the fact that this is like the breaking point beyond which the conservative half of the country is just like, well, now we're really pissed off was trying to take somebody to task for well, I don't know if it's actual, no, I don't think it was that it because they're not looking at it as an issue about sexual assault. They're looking at this as Democrats just don't want conservative judge. Yeah, and that they're completely divorced from the reality that everyone else is operating with is like, this is a man who is trying to hold one of the most distinguished legal positions in this country who has many credible allegations of sexual misconduct and assault against him..

"Make sure you stay with us all day until at least six o'clock because it's gonna rain more today. We've already found out is the second wettest day ever in October in Arizona. So that is unbelievable. So we got detour Dan, we got our entire news team. And we've got Becky Lynn. We're all ready to go, and it probably be a wet ride home. Yeah. Okay. So we know that the FBI is trying to figure out if there's any damning information about Brett Cavanaugh, and they have until Friday to get the investigation done. We're hearing from at least one of our sources, you know, with a guy who used to work with the FBI. They're going to be done by tomorrow. They'll be done by tomorrow. So we're trying to and by the way that report from the FBI we're not supposed to see it or really even ever know what was in it. So we may see senators going to vote for cavenaugh. Yes, or no. And not know what happened in the FBI report that someone can get into a little bit later. But there have been like four accusers for for Cavanaugh. And the third accuser is a woman named Julie sweat, Nick. And what she says happened was what used to go to parties. Brad Kavanagh was there and all these parties, and I think that he was spiking drinks. So women would would would. Well, I hate to say it. So the women would lose all the renovations lose consciousness, and then they would be gang raped. Horrible. So did that happen because she says she was gang raped Jewish sweat. Nick did an interview with NBC. Let's listen to some of it. And let's find out if she's credible. You could also take it that she had that celebrity lawyer. What was his name of auntie? Michael naughty. Who is a stormy Daniels pretty much an ambulance chaser. So she has she has signed a sworn affidavit saying what she said is true. I believe that something terrible happened to her at the party. She was that she was gang raped. I'm going to believe that the question is what did bread Kavanagh have to do with it? Here's Julie, sweat, Nick. I saw him given red solo cups to quite a few girls during that time frame. And there was green punch at those parties. And I would not take one of those glasses from bar cabinet. Excuse me. I saw him around the punch I won't say bowls or the punch containers. I don't know what he did. But I saw him by them. Yes. I. I'm having a hard time following this because she's not accusing Brett Cavanaugh of sexual assault. What she's accusing him of is like being a ring leader or the guy that would recognize when a girl would pass out, right? He would get the girl. He would he would take. Let's say the solo red cop. Okay. He would make sure that it was laced with drugs allegedly or alcohol. Okay. Get get the girl. So so drunk or drugged up. Right. They didn't know what was in the drink. Okay. Bring that inebriated or passed out girl to a room. But listen to what you just said, he was he was handing out red solo cups. So what okay he was around the Punchbowl. So what? Yes, see again, I'm not hearing anything that can be proven or not proven, correct. I don't know. I don't take this the wrong way for those of you are listening. I'm not really sure what she's accusing him of except. I think. He was the guy that no ride to get women. But you're not saying what was the quote. I don't know. What he did? That's what she said. Yeah. I don't know. Eight is not as though she said he was on top of me. He tried to assault me. Like, Dr Ford. I don't know what he did. That's what she said. So I'm not really sure how. I don't I don't want to say this. But I don't know how credible. This is. Because there's a lot of there's just a lot of unknowns here. I am more willing to believe Dr Ford, then her I will say she's not credible. I thought Dr Ford was credible. I believe Dr Ford I said that in the past by the way, Dr Ford has not been interviewed by the FBI. So says her lawyer, I don't know if that's troubling or not, I don't know. Julie sweat, Nick. Yeah. I'm going to say, I don't know why women would come out and say I was gang raped if she wasn't. So I'm totally believing her. I am believing her I will take her side. But what did break Kavanagh? Do do. You know, that do, you know, for fact that he laced your drink with drugs. She doesn't know that do you do you know that he was in in the room and sexually assaulted you? She does not know that she may have been at a party where Bret Cavanaugh was here's a little bit more from Jewish sweat, Nick. If you're just joining us, the third accuser talked NBC and your declaration you describe Brett cabin on his friend. Mark judge standing outside seeing them stand outside a door. Yes now. Now, why is that important because she says there were many boys outside the door waiting. To go in and and raping a girl. And then the next boy would go in. So what Julie sweat nicotine is that she saw cavenaugh around the door with other.

It happens who come forward. Years later. How dare you of had it you don't get to do that anymore. Let me also indicate I have her bio in front of me, there is no partisan democratic activity in her bio, and none of the Republicans level that charge against her today, and that kind of character assassination, and that's what it is. Indicates the problem, and it is a problem that I'm afraid we're going to have to deal with a lot in the future. Right. Eight hundred eighty eight two and I'll tell you one of the issues that people should be considering is that this guy lied. He lied through his teeth in this testimony. It's been described as a job interview. And in a way, that's what it is. So let's consider that it's not a criminal trial. But you take the allegations that you've heard about Brad Kavanagh, you're interviewing Bret Cavanaugh to babysit your children. You're interviewing Bret Cavanaugh to potentially be the person who's going to take your kids on a week long camping outing. And then you hear these allegations. "Listening to continuing coverage of the cabin hearings with MAC and Gaydos. Hearings wrapped up about a little over an hour ago. And sources are now saying that Brett Kavanagh's overarching goal was to please Trump. That's one opinion. We've got another opinion of Dr Ford sealed his fate that he will never be a supreme court Justice. There's opinions everywhere. President Trump is prayed praised Bret Cavanaugh after the judge Senate hearing. He blasted the Democrats by saying their search and destroy strategy is disgraceful. So. Maybe you're right. Maybe Cavanaugh said I gotta go in there and fight for me. I've also got to make sure that Trump doesn't change his mind on me one of the things that was brought up repeatedly, especially by the Democrats and dick Durbin. The Senator democrat Senator as plainly to judge Cavanaugh. Will you support an FBI FBI investigation right now? Monica Lindstrom, MAC and Gaydos, legal expert, should he opened himself up. I mean, he's already been investigated six times to get to the level of a federal judge already not for a specific charge. Like this. Correct. Should he opened himself up for that? And he did he evaded the question, by the way. Yeah. If I was his attorney, I'd say, oh, no, no, no, don't you agree to that. I think there's several things at work here. Right. Number one that time if there's an FBI investigation, he won't get put on the court if he's going to get put on the court before the election. So he's got the pressure of let's get this done. He's got President Trump the Republican party we need to get this done. So he doesn't want to admit to having an FBI investigation. Amac you brought up the second point. What the heck are they going to find? I mean, they went. All the way back in this hearing to obviously his yearbook and what he wrote in his yearbook and went through a piece by piece. So what else are they going to find out there and opening yourself up just to a longer process and hurting your family and everything else? I would say as his attorney, no way don't do it. But there's gotta be part of him. That's just screaming down to prove saying if he says he's innocent. And he's telling the truth. Then why wouldn't you want it done? Well, all those reasons I just said, I know, but I'm seeing if he really wants to sit on the supreme court, and I don't see that happening right now. No, I I I'll have a blog at very quickly on legally while legally speaking on KTAR dot com, and I go through you know, what what happened why it happened and where we're at now, and what's likely to happen next. So if you didn't get a chance to listen to the hearing just read that real quick the clips all on KTAR. They're gonna vote tomorrow. That's what they keep saying. They're not going to vote tomorrow because they they will not vote if they don't have the votes, but it's I don't think they have the votes for him. It's just the committee. I don't think he's gonna get eleven votes. I think you'll have. Saying you're wrong. What what what what should happen? If there wasn't this controversy is it would be eleven Republicans voting. Yes. And it would be ten Democrats voting. No. But I think what you're gonna get is. Is all the Democrats voting. No. And at least one in maybe two Republicans, which probably includes Arizona Senator Jeff flake saying. Yeah, he's not the guy. Right. And then Trump needs to pick somebody else can they abstain? Well, anyway, so now he has plenty to crow about about pudding now that he's in prison. Yeah. The, you know, it's interesting. I saw some people on social media saying oh, come on. He's an old, man. He's almost blind. You're gonna put them in jail, and they actually have people. I did not know this who if you have especially a high profile client or rich client who's going to jail. They have people that you sit down with before sentencing. Just in case, you go to jail who will train you and teach you about how to survive in prison. Because especially since there a celebrity they can be targets. It can be targets in a good way that can be respected or they could be targets in a bad way and be targeted by other inmates. It's also so they said that he probably sat down with someone to teach him how to to do this, especially as a sex assault going in as a violent sex offender. But it was interesting. Her attorney is said to say that he's too old that he should get a pass because it's taken this long to catch up with what he's done with. They're asking for is to get out of jail free card too old to go because it took this long, then he shouldn't be punished. It's it's like the same thing that like if you've lived in this country illegally for twenty years, and it took twenty years to find you. And now, you have a family, and you've moved on and everything else, we shouldn't deport you. Well, no, just because it took twenty years to find you just because you've skirted the law, and you skirted Justice for twenty years or however long it's been doesn't mean that Justice doesn't find you somewhere along punish they do. It appears it's a well-deserved fall from grace what a tragedy for a guy who was so so widely perceived as being such an impulsive influence in America conducting himself in such a way behind the scenes drugging and abusing women in this way. Horrific to hear the details of but yesterday on CNN, of course, they came up with an insane analysis of all of this and lumped it right in with the current supreme court process if you can believe it, here's a CNN guest. Listen during the break, I'm scrolling through Twitter, and I'm looking at people actually saying and applauding the judge in the Senate, and then in the same breath wanting to defend Cavanaugh, and it's it's disturbing to me. Because again, like we said, this is a monumental defining moment this week when you have someone like Cosby going to prison and then in the same breath having cabinet possibly going to the highest court in the land. And so anyone that's defending Cavanaugh could not in the same breath. Now applaud this jury for this this verdict that the judge handed down in the same breath. It just doesn't make any sense this moment of stupidity. Brought to you by UD towel. There's a criminal defense attorney and a former prosecutor and appearing on CNN yesterday to blather about nonsense. I'm sorry. Did I miss the part where Bret Cavanaugh admitted to buy quails and giving. Women drugs and alcohol before sex or more principally where he was convicted of anything. Well, she she's a prosecutor. She knows the law. Yeah. But not how to speak English or use logic. The logic part does escape perhaps this is rank stupidity. But anyway, we figure we could bring it to you. It.

"Still white. Responsible. So your blood? It's in your DNA, you're a racist. Which is of course, racist to say that racism is in someone's delay because of their race. Well, like, I said, they're not smart people. They're not honest people. They're not they're not serious people. Let's go to let's go to where we number sixteen. This is move on dot org. Now, keep in mind that move on dot org was created by hardcore leftist lunatics who are supporting Bill Clinton's rape of Juanita broaddrick. And they were trashing Juanita broaddrick and Paula Jones, and all of the other women that Bill Clinton sexually abused, and and Hillary Clinton attacked and smeared and engaged in the slamming of women that her husband was banging behind her back or in front of her back or wherever it was kind of in front of everybody. And so the left created move on dot org on the idea behind move on dot org was this. Okay. Okay. Bill Clinton had sex. Well, it's okay. Right. So it's time to move on. That's why it's called move on dot org because you should pay no attention to Bill Clinton's sexual and physical abuse. And rape of a busload of women. You should just time to move on just move on dot org. That's why it's move on dot org. Right. Well, move on dot org. Has the temerity now to produce a television commercial and ad attacking Bret Cavanaugh that no sense of irony. These people they had their sense of irony. Surgically removed long ago. So they got a bunch of they call them celebrities and some of their their Hollywood people, and they're they're not nice looking people, and they got Alexandria, Cosso Cossio Cortez. And and this is a little piece of the ad professor point, dear professor Ford. Professor for loves it. Thank you for.

"Listening to watch how much y'all brought in. There's still a bunch of extra water cleaning supplies that. We have any loaded up trucks there. So thank you to all our hands on the ground included are Mike shields by the Mark McKay. Steve Winslow for the travel team and others that have helped loaded into those. If you're writing into town on route down I should say there's metal debris reported on the inner loop twenty five at Atlanta road exit number sixteen you're slow by that afterwards cabinets deliver forty minutes. Nobody working around highway seventy eight. Blames have trouble to just clear highway of part of that. Donald O'Brien with it over forty minutes from four hundred around twenty. Very much. Okay. I'm going to jump back into phone calls. Now, you've got a lot of people want to talk about break Cavanaugh, still and the capital situation. I will tell you. I am being told by I've been trading. Text message during commercial break in stuff, not not while I'm on the program just during commercial break with folks who are very convinced that this accusation the momentum is going away from it. Republicans in the Senate are becoming increasingly frustrated with the Democrats, and so convinced that this democratic dirty trick that we may see a confirmation, but we're not going to see it on Thursday now, but we may very well see confirmation vote for bread Kevin on next week in the committee. And it doesn't look like we're gonna get lose any of the Republicans on the committee, including Jeff flake who also I'm told his very very angry with the way, the Democrats have handled this, and the fact that they've given Christine blazey Ford ample opportunity to reply and say, she's. Gonna show up and she's not answering them back to the phones. Avery in Roswell your next welcome. Yes. Erica, thanks for taking my call. Sure. I just wanted to wonder could this bright Cavanaugh thing be a positive for Republicans in terms of, you know, a lot of people I've been thinking, especially I know you said. With the polls that some bog Republicans might not vote because you know, of the wrong, I got a chance, but you know, that ignite people to vote Republican to keep something like this happening again, you know, I hope so they're they're actually e could be a scenario. I think if they have Bret Cavanaugh on Monday. And allow him to answer the questions from all the Republicans and Democrats about this incident and deny them all and continue to point out that they gave her an opportunity to show up and she wouldn't show up. I think this could I think the Republicans could turn the tables on the Democrats on this. Ultimately, though, I think the new cycle moves so fast that by the time people get to November of this isn't going to matter one way or the other. I I really do think the new cycle moves so fast. It's hard for people to keep up. I mean, remember we've already had the North Korean summit in in Singapore. This year, we've had the president bomb Syria. We've had the the mess up with the VA chief in new VA secretary. We we've had hurricanes. I mean, people cannot keep up with the new cycles. Even more people will have forgotten about this by November. That's why the Democrats want to keep dragging out trying to get closer to November. Linen gainesville. Welcome to the program. Hey, Eric, it's great to speak with you. My husband, and I were just discussing what the next, you know, scenario is going to be an that's probably what we what we're speculating is that she's going to have been so traumatized by the Republicans in all of the people, you know, I guess deplorables, or whatever you wanna call us that she couldn't possibly come forward. Oh, that's exactly that. She scared and intimidated in Friday, and she doesn't want bread Kavanagh there. And she, you know, the Republicans have structured it that if she's questioned it's Brett Kavanagh's lawyer gets to ask her questions because you're allowing user, oh, well, we can't do that. And and and have her attorney say that she g has no culpability. I guess you would say that by the way that that she has no responsibility to prove the allegations is what her attorney said that that goes through the democrat mantra that you are guilty until you are proven innocent. And there is no way to prove your innocence. I mean, this all reminds me of the Monty python and the holy grails of the witch. Yeah. Birdie? Murphy birds. He's a witch if he doesn't burn which to drowning. Yeah. Exactly what this is Len. Thanks very much of the phone call. I mean there there is no way the Democrats have structured the so there's no way for bread capital to be innocent. And for the rest of his life now on the supreme court. The Democrats are gonna say, well, you got to men up there who abused women, meaning Clarence Thomas and him. I look forward to the next democratic nominee being accused of abusing someone. So that Republicans can forever say, oh, no, no, don't forget. The don't forget the democratic nominee up there. I mean, that's what they're doing here. This is this is something the fact that. She won't testify. Now, something could happen. Maybe there's another shoe. I'm sure the Democrats right now are working to find someone else to come forward to corroborate to claim to corroborate or to accuse they've gotta have someone else come forward now. And that's what the rest of this week is going to be about is how do they roll out the second person they've got to have a second person. Now, given what's happening here? The they've gotta find someone to keep the momentum going whether or not they do we'll see.

"From ABC news. I'm Daria all they are. Protesters continued to disrupt Bret Cavanaugh supreme court Senate confirmation hearing there's been tension as New Jersey Democrat Cory Booker focused on race and an Email from Kavanagh's time in the Bush administration that he says shows the judge was open to racial profiling supreme court law. I know what the president is. I know what the law is asking what you believe. Do you? Do you agree with Scalia that again that it is never permissible for government to use race to try to mediate past discriminations try to achieve Justice that that's racial entitlement. That that position has never been adopted. Senators have also asked about sexual harassment and executive privilege democratic Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts reacting to an anonymous op Ed in the New York Times that the paper says was written by senior Trump administration. Officials alarming part all the op Ed is that there's someone in the White House is very afraid that nation is being damaged on a daily basis that President Trump suggest treason. So if the failing New York Times has an anonymous editorial, can you believe it anonymous, meaning gutless cutlass editorial, we're doing a great job. In a statement. The time says a piece add significant value to the public's understanding of what's going on inside the Trump administration. Nike's just do it ad dropped early. Nike's? New controversial ad is out.
