"Let this be a lesson to about about championing these late drafted quarterbacks like Mason Rudolph. Wasn't it Jarret Stidham wooden it? Please stop. Patriot fans have a right They have they get a slight pass man. Like the Patriot, fans get a slight passed on believing in late round quarterbacks I. Mean I guess they're still they're still. Yeah. Adam you totally Cam Newton from day one. We do a trade. Buddy sat on. There's any question. Oh yeah yeah I mean I. Don't think that they make this new attack. A wicker said like if there was any question of Cam Newton being able to start. I. Don't think they make this move I just not. It's very unpatriotic to do that. So for for them to even sign him I. Think all signs point sue as of now, Cam. Newton is healthy. If Cameroon Southie, he'll be starting for the Patriots won one yeah, and from there things get super interesting fantasy in my opinion for sure, and it's funny. Because Cam, Newton signed with the Patriots kind of Lake I. Dunno, it's almost like this perfect storm for people. People who hate the because a lot of people also hate Cam Newton for some reason I don't understand so it's kind of like funny like if you hate the Patriots and you hate Cam, Newton. This is like perfect. You could hate them both equally together, but it's one of the things for me like I. Don't necessarily root for. The Patriots were Love Cam Newton's and I gotta hope. The Patriots do welcome I wanNA. See Cam Newton quiet. The naysayers who doesn't like am new, some people just don't man miserable acres. Have you seen a Lotta? People hate on Camden. Oh we were talking, what was it? Was it last season or two years ago? When a the the mother writes, the letter to the Carolina Panthers Organization because they didn't like the way that they didn't like Cam, swag and then when it when it. To the rest of the team, and it was the team running out to do you know the DAB? He made that you know that was the whole. The National Movement quote unquote that Cam started doing the touchdowns this whole the way that he presents himself. I think the the one dig I would say that. that should be levelled at him, was his criticism of the female reporter when she was talking to him about a running routes and she had some legitimate. Questions about it, and he was digging in digging on her intelligence as a reporter. I think that's the only claim which can level Adam other than that. He's been everything that we wanted for him. As as a quarterback shore, the inaccuracy issues exist, but I mean he was able to make that up in spades as a better athlete on the field since he came into the League, and he and And he took a team that was what that was highlighted by funchess Brenton Bersin was Kelvin Benjamin Kelvin Benjamin I mean he took most of these like no name, wide receivers. I don't know if Kelvin Benetton team, but he wound up taking mostly scrub wide receivers to a super bowl. I mean in one of the most his most efficient season, so it's just I think a lot of folks. Folks are rooting for him to fail because they just they don't like they don't think his attitude is a part of the game. When at the same time Tom Brady can yell at his coach Brett Farve can get away with I mean literally anything Aaron Rodgers can like just completely. screw you to his head coach. I mean but that we see the same attitude portrayed and other quarterbacks. quarterbacks with Cam just that he's had a target on his back for the past four or five seasons not understand it. Yeah, this something stinks. Yeah, I haven't seen I. Don't know if it was pro football talk I. Don't know who I don't want Kooyman school the site, but don't even settled on how the Patriots have to deal with Cam in the locker room like the kidding me like. Yeah exactly I don't understand it. Yeah, it's crazy what we have more to talk about with Cam, but before we move on his anyone of any else to say about him, being they one starter anything nothing. We're good unless injuries happen everyone right now. Believing Cam Newton Day one for the Patriots the next one. We have here Mike, Evans and Chris Guy Wind will both finish as top twenty wide receivers at Josh start with this one. Yeah I I don't have any reason not to believe that this happened like what I understand that. Tom Brady is not going to do all of the things that James did to just push games script, and you know he may not throw the ball as far on an average attempt but i. don't think that that means that these two. Wide Receiver ones finish all the way outside of the top twenty big. Tom Brady I think is fine. They are the thing that matters not not the quarterback Tom Brady. More than good enough I'm wish you jobs. Yeah more than good enough more than good enough atom. Which your feelings on this? I mean it to me. It's like borderline I think as long as like that. All fence clicks like we. Really, the only question mark is Tom Brady actually as old as he claims he is. Does he actually finally fall? All signs point to that not being the case mean he somehow found abuse so as long as he continues to play at basically the ability that he was at last year in that offense Brazilians offense. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to afford to top twenty wide receivers. We we all. We all agree here. As far as that goes, an found a youth is actually a lot of water like just a lot of water. Chris twelve juice, exactly Chris, are you with those men? Are you GonNa? Are you have something here that you don't see looking so good for these two? I mean I guess by my only concern is many touchdowns to really think that they're going to be that. They're going to throw like this season 'cause I think that everybody is on board with the idea that the the buccaneers now going to win a bunch of games, but how often they going to score I mean if we know that their offense is good. Good and that's fine, but their defense is now also picked up as well. So are we really going to see a lot of those like jailbreak type situations that has essentially put them into by throwing so many interceptions that force them to pass over six hundred times now Tom..

"Carlos high come on down so we have another running back to take the ball away from Russell Wilson. By the way we should it should be noted you and I are different on Cam. I do appreciate I think Cam's been very smart. He is putting out videos regularly of him practicing. I think that matters today. It is something. I criticized captured four for about a twelve month period. Where Lemme see how much you love football you can tell me. Do I WANNA see it? Cam Is all over social media and I think it matters but why is the market virtually ZIP BAGEL FOR CAM nothing interest? I think there's a lot of factors I think one is. It's an unfortunate time. As far as given the pandemic he can't go into workout with teams and they can see that he's healthy. I think another is you've got I don't know what the number is but maybe a quarter to a third of teams in the League. That just aren't Cam. Newton friendly so to speak. They think he's too much of a star or polarizing or flamboyant to be the face of the franchise. I think that works against him. I think in fact that none of the older quarterbacks are retiring think that works against him and I think the fact that for some reason or another there are certain guys who just say. Will they get to be backup quarterbacks? And he'll bat. Ni- I mean. Joe FLACCO is stunk. Since Obama's first term neck surgery. He's not going to be healthy to said like guys guys guys. I'm not going to be able to play at the beginning of next year. Don't get that wrong. Jets are like come on down. Philip rivers already taken this job after football culture like twenty five million. Come on down Nick foles get straight for so I don't get it. I don't think it's just football with CAM. I don't think it's ever been just football with CAM and I would encourage people to watch the playoff game from January of two thousand eighteen. Where Cam Newton with Brenton Bersin halen clay and Devin funchess has a game winning? Drive to beat the saints in the superdome and Devin funchess. Can't catch the catch. The touchdown pass with twenty five seconds left and the first eleven games of the next season before his shoulder got wrecked when he had a one point. Four rating. Seventy percent completion percentage. He broke his foot and missed last season. I still think he's a top at the very least top eighteen starter in the NFL column. Good stuff today nick. Right is at Your House. By the way is they. May I say one thing? Yeah sure yeah. That's my house but I have to interrupt you real quick if I may listen. Once upon a time Colin you changed your hair America. Responded you changed the back here. America responding poorly shave it again. Yeah they're change going over far better than Colin remind ever could have imagined so congrats to you my friend. Thanks for having me on thanks. He's about the fourth person that has mentioned that He. It is universally understood that joy Taylor in quarantine upgraded her hair with no hairdressers so that in itself deserves. Hi Thank you guys. These shorter catch live editions of the heard. Weekdays at noon eastern nine am Pacific so ESPN's football power index. This is an analytic Antarctic analytic. Maybe analytic coup analytic predicting mode teams at the top. You'd expect chiefs and Ravens niners and Saints Eagles Hawks and the teams at the bottom Washington. Jacksonville you right in the middle the Green Bay packers. That's it during inch above the Chicago. Bears in the pairs don't know this morning who their quarterback is going to be in a quarterback leak that what does it tell you analytics. Not sportscasters not debate show host analytics. Think Matt Fluor be Aaron Rodgers declining because this is a quarterback coach league and everybody knows everybody at the top Kansas City. Baltimore San Francisco the Saints Philadelphia Tampa Bay. Getting a lot of quarterback coach combos. They're very interesting. You know what it makes me think about an and so matt leflore comes to Green Bay in the feeling is oh. He'll be the magic elixir. He'll solve all errands stuff. Earns numbers went down. Actually errands no longer. He's protecting his legacy. He's not elevating it. Is that Aaron? The last two years has led the NFL in throwaways. Brett farve was a gunslinger to the end. Aaron is not he doesn't throw picks and if you look at the NFC and you look at football right now. The risk takers or winning Andy. Reid Patrick Mahomes big risk Lamar. John Harbaugh Big Risk Philadelphia their front office big swings Los Angeles got to Super Bowl. Big Swings San Francisco. Paint a ton of money to Jimmy Garoppolo. They did know how good he be if Houston say what you want to keep winning their division. They've made huge swings on draft picks Seattle John Schneider Pete Carroll Draft Big Swings. Big Trades make moves. Green Bay has never been comfortable with discomfort. They don't have an owner. It's a small town. They've always been sort of a you know. Let's put our money away. That's pay the house off. Let's not have an expensive flashy car? That's Green Bay. I would argue. That's become Aaron Rodgers twenty four touchdowns four thousand yards. He's got a superstar wide receiver. He's got a great running back. It's not like they don't have people. He's got an offensive minded head coach. Ninety five passer rating the NFC especially has become a big swing big risk GM's or younger. They're taken shots even Green Bay's draft. I two picks her backups. The thirds of blocking tight end. They didn't add one dynamic player in free agency and they didn't add one dynamic player in the draft. That's not to say they won't make the team but they didn't take any big risks. It was a great wide receiver draft but there were a lot of is that had some off field risks. They had no interest. Maybe there was a time when Erin was in his prime didn't have multiple surgeries that you could be less risky and Aaron would carry you. But I think he's declined. Still a top. Five quarterback still excellent first ballot hall of Famer. But I've noticed over the last two years. He was a gunslinger to his last throw. Aaron takes fewer risks leads the NFL in throwaways doesn't want to have picks doesn't WANNA throw it up for grabs and I don't know in the NFC analytically the proof in the pudding. That's not GonNa win it. They were a bad thirteen and three team last year. They would have been great nine in seventeen.

"Should feel about the flacco signing almost the exact same way? That coach fell when he heard Philip rivers next year was going to go coach High School team in Alabama shouldn't feel snubbed. Shouldn't feel badly should feel nothing at all. Because that's a job he wasn't gonNA take any way. Cam Newton is not signing up to go play for a million bucks to back guy. He's better than in Sam. Darnold especially a guy who we know the jets have immense investment in. So they're not going to move off of and they shouldn't by the way move off of so I an odd weaken. The weather wasn't great here in New York City. Where obviously still quarantined sort? Allowed me to do some things. One thing I did was. I re watched the nineteen ninety-three Western Conference finals and by the way Charles Barkley. Oh my God. He was unbelievable and Games. Five and seven. Another thing I did was I started. Mba Project we're working on this show. But the last thing I did was I watched the twenty seventeen playoff game January of two thousand eighteen between the saints and the Panthers the last game we saw Cam Newton playing when Cam Newton was throwing to a WHO's who of wide receivers named Kaelin Clay Devin funchess and Brenton Bersin. And in that Playoff Game Cam Newton was leading the panthers back through a perfect pass with less than thirty seconds left into the front corner of the zone to win the game and Devin funchess the best wide receiver on his team could not get his head turned around the very next year with his new throwing motion. Can we show it? Here's L. Cam. Newton got that year going with one of the best starts to a season. We've seen in recent times. Sixty percent completions two touchdowns eleven games in a row. He put up those numbers. Only Tom Brady and I'm sorry. Only Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have done. Even nine only Aaron Rodgers and Peyton manning of more than can look at. That's the list that was not cams. Mvp Year that was the last time he was healthy. And then that year until shoulder went out on him he had like a one four rating. Twenty six total touchdowns seven picks. He was playing some of his best football of his life. The new shoulder goes out on him. He breaks his foot in the pre season. And we haven't seen him since in so wilde's no cam shouldn't be upset. Joe FLACCO got a backup or third string quarterback job because Cam Newton should be waiting for starting quarterback job. At least that's what is play. The last time we saw him healthy says I agree. Nick and just a quick note. Since there's not a ton of live sports. A lot of people have been betting on talk shows. And what will be mentioned so big day in Vegas if you had the nineteen ninety-three Western Conference finals coming up in a Cam. Newton question from Nick Right. So congratulations to. Everyone had money on that big win for you guys. The interesting thing about the starting roles. Nick is asked us to pull up. Said Hey how many how? Many teams had a clan that works throughout the season if we can throw up the graphic half of the teams change their starting quarterback not permanently but had someone else start from who they had planned on week one and they basically fall into four categories injury. Right poor play. The future is now where it's like the giants like. Hey let's just go or The future is the past which is like the future is not now. Let's go back to our guy little interesting note. The jags redskins hit for the cycle. All four so the question to you coaches. I know we're saying that. Like Cam doesn't want the jets job. He should want to waltz right into a starting job. But from that graphic. It seems to me that half of those jobs could become starting jobs. Not all of them. Obviously he's not going to go and take you know Patrick. Mahomes job but if we look at what happened in New Orleans a on the backup and now my started for somewhere else. Doesn't Cam just WANNA get on a team. I saw nick your weekend a little too wild for me. Better slow down. You'RE GONNA burn out and it would be fantastic if you could look past video and suddenly be transported into the player that was in that video. But that's unfortunately not how it works. He's only started her. I started ten games over the last two years and the injury question is real and and not just the injury question but he talks about changing his throwing motion. And how how? He's committed to doing that whether or not that can really happen is also a question mark and whether that can happen when when he's under pressure and stress that's an even bigger question mark because usually default to what you know but to your question Kevin. Should he wait? Yeah at this point. The sign for one point five million like flacco. Dade with four million incentives. It's not a great deal. People are going to get to training camp and realized that the quarterback that they have isn't a quarterback that they hope to have or someone's going to get injured and Cams GonNa get an opportunity that's dramatically different than the opportunity that's available now so keep working out. Keep keep improving your throwing most. Keep working on the things that you want to work on. An opportunity will come along. That's better than what's available right now. All right nick coach does have a point. I mean we're in strange odd times. Now we're quarterbacks camp and players Cam brought in work out and maybe the injury. The health issue is a big question. Mark for teams but put all that aside. What happens now? How do you see this all playing out? I think cam waits until there is a better option than the ones that currently present themselves and I'm going to push back a bit on a few things. One is the throwing motion. He retooled his throwing motion going into the twenty eighteen season and that year he was completing seventy percent of his passes was having the best years since his MVP season until he got hurt and he started by the way fourteen games that year it just at the very end they shut it down in the last month and a half. He wasn't effective because of the shoulder and then in the preseason he got his foot broken the question is to me not about the shoulder he shoulder was fine in the preseason last year it was. He broke his foot. And you can't play this position with any position the NFL but certainly not quarterback not because cams or runner because you need your feet to set yourself in the bucket with a broken foot. So I just wear in an era were quarterbacks talking about playing until forty and cam is is being seemingly forgotten about at age thirty one and so I if I were advising him. The benefit of not being on a team is you. You are not tied to a certain situation because there will be inevitable injuries because there will be inevitable underachievement. You can wait for that. As opposed to site like we look at the saints situation say worked out great for Teddy Bridgewater and it did but if Brian Hoyer. Last year for example was looking for a similar opportunity. Didn't work out for him at all. He was behind aging quarterback. Who didn't miss any time? It's the chargers. Even though Philip rivers played poorly doesn't miss any time and so I think it is incumbent upon Cam wild to wait and see what happens and to see what the level of interest in him is once. The world opens backup. So I don't think the FLACCO thing should bother them. I do think the bears trading for foles that would irk me the cult signing Philip rivers. If I'm Cam I don't love that. But I think you have to wait and see where there is an opening because Cam Newton is not a backup quarterback in twenty twenty wildt. So are we just taking the health off the board coach? Everyone's like well. We don't know if he's healthy. Corona were quarantined. We CAN'T GET ANYBODY CHECK. Dow and then Joe FLACCO had neck surgery last month and he's being signed. So is this injury thing a real thing or is it more? Just an excuse. No it's definitely real thing and every organization has different thresholds for for evaluating injuries. And maybe the jets were able to arrange something with laco where it was able to get get The xrays the exams that they need him to get but to Nick's point to say that Cam. Newton isn't a runner why. I don't think anybody would agree with that. That's one of the things that Cam Newton does does especially well. That's one of the things that makes him as dangerous as he is. So you've got that aspect of it and throwing motion part is is whether you can maintain that motion as adversity continues to strike as as you go through tough times. Are you gonNA stay with the throwing motion that adopted or you're going to go back to the motion that's made you successful year in and year out and you don't have that answer with Cam? In addition cam is a star whether whether we want to agree or admit that or not he is and he comes with a lot to him when you bring him into the building and there has to be an element on his part of willing to be a backup willing to accept that role and if he's not willing then do stand signed and wait for that opportunity to go in and be the starter. If I said Cam's not a runner obviously that's not what I meant. I'm not sure I said that my point was. I think people were looking at the broken foot. As if w- The particular reason that was bad for can is because he's a mobile quarterback. There is not a quarterback in the league that would be successful with the foot injury. Cam had last year. The foot injury prevented him from being able to throw to a single side of the field because he couldn't plant his feet. That's the point I was making but with Cam it's always more than meets the eye because wildest right other guys can get signed with questionable medical checks other guys can get signed despite being awful for five years as flacco was before the broncos traded born with Cam. There's an additional level to this. Which is he continues to be. One of the most polarizing players in the league for reasons. I don't totally understand unless you are just adamant that. He shouldn't have probably taken money at Auburn a decade ago. So there are at least a dozen fan base is right now. Who would be thrilled if they woke up tomorrow morning? And their team had signed Cam Newton and they would roll the dice on the injury stuff. I'm very curious to see which team is doing it. A healthy lifestyle should be easy right. Eat veggies drink green smoothies exercise? Get your heart rate up and do yoga to bring your heart rate back down..

"How? How hard is it to win it Alabama? And he couldn't even do it so he he was in office coordinator for the buccaneers. Guess too late night again is a massive gaps. Yeah if to hazard from one thousand nine hundred sixty nine hundred ninety nine for fifteen years later will maybe. You'll be better. But their offense under Mike Shula was in yards per game was twenty eight. Twenty Nine Twenty Second Twentieth and finished in scoring. There's no better than eighteenth and we're like this guy. I think this guy's got it now. It's pretty telling that when he wants to the giants he wasn't allowed to call plays after he left very. That was very funny decision. Yeah what's your offensive coordinator but you don't do your job The part of your job. That's most forward-facing I mean we're laughing at the Patriots team. Let him call the point. I know yes I know right thing didn't want yes but the people involved in that decision aren't here anymore and they can't hurt us anymore. So we can. We can laugh at that too but yeah letting my call the place was like could you imagine I can be around Rivera. I live in Washington. Dc near him again. I can't be me. What do you get back to the canes that I want to hear what you or your expectations are Ron Rivera in Washington? Like he'll be better than what they've had but not great. It's a low bar. I think he's the type of coach in theory that with team that's rebuilding just because he kinda didn't of course he doesn't have Cam Newton in that made his job so much easier. I would not be surprised if it's a disaster. Didn't his head coach now earnings. Weren't that inspiring like Jack Del. Rio which is kind of interesting to do in twenty twenty then the higher attorney Classroom of the panthers and I am anything I don't think he proved his worthy of an offensive coordinator job. Either thought it was so funny that Washington apparently had a you know they've had the kind of the what's it called pipeline of office of coordinators. Like Sean mcvay and Kyle Shanahan in that and apparently there was another guy who was looked at the similar way in Ron. Like get him. Outta here. I gotTA bring in Old Buddy Scott. Turner run the offense. Yeah I forgot about that would take off the back so the very it was another stubborn hired by Rivera Kit rid of they added place already and bringing his own guy who doesn't really have a track record of being offense coordinator all it was like his last two years in Carolina. Starting with when cams shoulder started to go bad on them it seemed to turn into a train wreck and then he gets hired by Washington and instead of using that as a chance to like start clean and bringing a new staff. You've just brought every body of the train wreck in Carolina and early. The working with new. I think the reason why he has his job like Washington probably looked at him and look what he did with this former first pick. He'd made him into a star at future. Mvp but that's not really what happened. If any he's he's the reason why dotting on any anymore. The lead can't play hurt. A bunch of times started in two thousand fourteen when ended up making the playoffs but cam was like beat up any. I think he took like eight sacks in Monday night game against the eagles. And you just tell that he should not be playing anymore and they kept pushing. I mean they got a playoff went out of it but I don't. I still don't think it was worth Lang Cam. Newton the rest of that season. I think that was the season he he got in a car accident two. We broke his back or no. Yeah he like Boca Brunner's back or whatever was that was this. He broke his back into the Patriots. The same season we got in the car accident. I think so yes. There was two thousand. Eighteen is the greatest season in team. History there's a lot of That's a pretty frequently recurring trend with whole leading players. Play when they shouldn't be playing 'cause there to hurt. You mean this past season when when Cam Newton literally and they still let him play against the buccaneers. He's as I do is fine. I mean yeah. He couldn't run but he said he was so we thought he was. Okay yes Stephen. There was a bit of a tangent that one of our writers went off on about but essentially boil down to that. Like Cam couldn't run but he didn't really like tell anyone. But Ron didn't go to him and say you run a forty yard dash me quick like just didn't do that before before the the the buccaneers game after suffering. At least that we knew at the time some kind of foot injury just didn't happen there was like oh well he says findings fine. No big deal trotted out there. That that's what happened in two thousand fourteen to quote gettleman and Rivera saying like cams a competitor and he's GonNa WanNa come off the field. That's exactly the bomb you're going to have to take command and tell them you're not playing. He made years later like that. Your Dad had you. Don't learn from your mistakes and I don't think Ron Rivera. Ever learned from his mistakes starts on fourth and one every once in Ohio conservative after burn of so many times early in his career. He always did that. Job was on the line when like there was no other option like when he was safe he was not going for it on fourth in one unless it was like deep in opposing territory. Spite having a quarterback ever that time remember that time when it was like fourth and inches from like the fifty maybe somewhere around midfield it was early in the game it was just. It was a low leverage situation. It's just a very easy to God. Just go for it. What he had to lose and CAM. Newton had team off the field because Ron rare. Shana pundits in the fifty on fourth and inches or quarter of a tie game. He had the offense freaking out about it. Like kicking punting unit off the field called time out so they could call play and three sure they picked it up. Like go out shocking. That with Cam Newton you can pick up a four inches from midfield that one thing that always made me mad about Ron. Not going forward is not like I could understand it. If we had like will greer quarterback. Who's awful at quarterback sneaks or whatever insert terrible quarterback here you know Mitch Trubisky or whatever Shout out all my bears fans there but he had cam. Newton like factually one of the best fourth in short quarterbacks in the history of the League and he would still not do. It was just so damn frustrating buck. You're one the the worst I ever was. I think. Two thousand twelve against the Falcons win. I think they were. It was fourth one. They could iced the game with the first down and then they ended up. I don't they punched or kicked a field goal miss and then that was the I think it was roddy white in not the more was the safety overnight. Nakimora Rookie Nakimora Aka. The next had read you. Y'All hate on Colin Jones. Bet remember he wasn't her rookie. Nakimora right just remember that. That's what I'm here for. I boost Colin Jones and I boost Brenton Bersin. That is.

"But I think there's an like you have had to have been here for a couple of years to like they're not gonna let Bruce Arvin in the hall of honor. If he gets twenty sacks this year and he doesn't play but he only plays one year. Brenton Bersin will be eligible. Yeah. But you have to have been retired for two years because he said he wants to eliminate the possibility of somebody retiring getting in the hall of honor. And then unretire ring so peppers will not go in until twenty twenty one unless he retires and comes back, then it'll be pushed back further. But so we can't say Julius peppers next year because he's ineligible. I would say Chris gamble in Mike Minter are too. I don't think I don't think Chris gamble deserves. It really same. Yeah. Has like no accolades. Yeah. He was just. This is sad. But he's one of the best corners we've ever had. But he wasn't that great. Like, he just he didn't stand out. I mean, he wasn't bad. I'm not saying he was a bad player. He was a good player. But he didn't do anything. Like he didn't. He's a very a very very good corner. But he has zero Pro Bowl zero all pros. He has. He didn't win a Super Bowl. He didn't like he didn't like have a Ricky manning game. Where he's the reason we went to a Super Bowl. Okay. By those things. He doesn't stand out in any way. Here are his career highlights awards two thousand two national championship which is college and co in of see interception leader in two thousand four. So I agree. He didn't win the Super Bowl when I agree. He didn't have a Ricky manning junior game. But all pro and Pro Bowl. Are you kidding me? That's not his that has nothing to do with his his performance, especially pro like come on. But also. He was the he has the most interceptions ever in Carolina history. I'm not saying he won't get in. I mean, I think he will. But I don't think he should be on the list of the shortlist of like five to eight people who should be in within the next three years. Like, he's the kind of guy you put in ten years from now when you have two guys, but you wanna class three. So you call Chris gamble. I don't think he deserves it right now. I would I if people David only remember who he is into nears goes gamble. No offense. Chris gamble. I loved you. When you were here. I just don't think you are hall of honor. I think you're hall of good, but not hall of honor. Yeah. I feel that that's reserved for like Thomas Davis. And. Yeah. And because I don't want us to run into the the the the over correction problem. Why I don't want us to start putting guys in just to do it. Like, they have to deserve it. And I don't think Chris gamble does. One name. I believe should be an next year is John Casey. And I honestly believe he should've went in this year over Jack Lome. Green because he was the original panther. He has the franchise record for most all the kicking stuff..

Don't get too attached Ryan, and you just want because he has your same. First name initials. That's what pass rusher. Don't give me that bullshit. "We could have been the finale, but or I mean not last week that we skipped for Halloween age appropriately. But we before that. I'm wondering I am bummed about is that we didn't get the reunion right away. Like, I I get why they base it out. I'm still going to tune in. I'm hype for the reunion reunions, are I think the biggest benefit of reality shows. It's so exciting to kind of like see what tapping after we've taken some space from the actual filming. But I'm ready for it. Now like, I want to conclude an open right into the reunion. And I like the reality shows in the reunions, I feel like they're kind of like every every solid reality show needs like you need to find out where everyone's been. But I think the end of every reunion it's pretty much everything that happened since the show aired in like shit hitting the fan and the reunion. So I feel nothing ever. Just like, oh, we're all still very happy. They leave most reality shows. Everything's. Nope. Everything went to shit, we're screwed and I expect nothing less with the are you the one seventeen I'm excited they'd been doing teasers. We'll get to we'll make some predictions on who we think's together. But he gets it out. We gotta. Get through what did happen in the episode. What happened this week? So the big cliffhanger. We were left on is our Brent and Neutze boots gonna be a perfect match. And we find out that they are. Yeah. I mean, all I can think about was like imagine if this happened weeks ago, and it should've happened Umberto rotas and said can we talk about how retin-a Zsa almost ruined this few weeks ago by voiding, sending Britain, Newt said together, this is be as we can't forget that happened in that was one didn't like bread toll Asia that he don't want us. I don't wanna go in and she got spread it throughout the house. And then they who would news that week would I don't even remember who it was sorry so much happens. I always say I faint Brett stolen in with. Maybe I don't jasmine. Instead, probably you're probably right out of idea. Too much on the brand March you too much 8-o. But do you think that I guess we're gonna jump ahead? Like, geez. Think bread and Newton have a future. No, no, no zero chance. He clearly this is what it looks like she's super Inza him. He's like she's here, and she's pretty so I guess I'm going to move forward with it. Like the way he I feel like just by watching him look at her. It doesn't look real like you can tell one guy feel like even heaven in Kenya. When they look at each other. You could say they really care about each other. I feel like everytime. You looks. He's like, okay. How should I be looking at her and never feels genuine? Yeah. Also, I'm a full idiot. Sorry in new to in in which does at least make a little sense, a member that like I feel like there's so many truth. The oldest blend in at the end. I believe that's the day that Bree. Also manipulated to go on the date. Yes. Brad could be mad. That was week seven which really would have opened things up before tavern and Kenya where even confirmed batch, and it seemed to really be the trigger and we'll talk about the strategy a little bit, but that seemed to trigger Cam and the other people were strategists this season Cowley to get. That now so but like, so if they had gone in then they could have had it earlier. But then we wouldn't have had much contact pret- still the worst. This boots is like I fully like I would strive to take like such little shit as Lisa's like if you disrespect needs like, it's it's on you. I don't know how she does it like an organ as a little bit of this to like red light disrespects her. And it's like fine. I'm not going to be like, I'm not pressed like whatever I tried. I opened my heart to you. Then Brett comes to her. And she was like, okay, I'll give you another chance. But I don't believe that like newts is gonna be at Brenton Bersin like my prediction for their story is like Newt tried to make it work like she did on the show, she's been genuine. She's been amazing. And Brett wasn't ready for it Britain wanted end..

"I mean, that's the kind of player you're looking for in the second round is a player that's their five to six years later. She'll feels a little left and then got cut again in the details. He's back because literally no one else will have him. That's not true. It absolutely is. He is the Brenton Bersin of offensive line would be Chris Scott, first of all. I miss Chris Kat him playing tag on. I I kinda do this Chris Kat. There was. So funny watching him like we're on the field. Dislike snacking on the shoulders. He ran by the absolutely no good Tanny, buddy. Yeah. So for as the defensive back scale, obviously James bradberry as a new father, but non. Dante Jackson didn't bad. I didn't feel that Mike Adams played that either at eight years old Eric Reid. I don't know how much I wanna get into his whole like his whole beef per se, but he was not in the beginning after his little rum with now Jenkins, then he in towards the end of the game. He definitely was playing better. And that was interception. I think we have to address it. I mean it happened. You know? I think I'm not as mad about it as some people are because you know, some people are really mad about it. But I do think it's a bad. I think it's a bad. Look, I think that it kinda hurts reads 'cause and you know, I get where he's coming from. He believes Malcolm Jenkins sold out. And you know, he's perfectly. Fine to have that opinion. I mean, that's his opinion. But there's a better way to express that opinion. And I don't think trying to start a fight with literally the other team the entire team before the coin flip of a football game is the best time to express that disagreement. You know, there could have been a a post game meeting a post game, you You know, know. we could have said something in the press conference. He could have just talked to him directly. You know? You didn't have to handle it the way did. And you know, I don't think it necessarily affected as play too much because he was robbed of an interception. That would have sealed the game. Like, Ron Rivera said. He's just fortunate that we won the game twice which was very sassy, by the way, I actually liked that from Ron I wish he would be that way. More often. But you know, I I get where he's coming from. But I just you know, I also see where the other side's coming from. And he should not do that. Yeah. My my thing with it was like, I actually don't mind him going up through Malcolm Jenkins for the game and saying something man demand face to face Ida. I, but then the resulting stuff after that is where I'm like. Okay, dude. Like football game. Do your job. Don't rough the pastor. And there's there's arguments made that he didn't know that Carson Wentz. Didn't have that ball not playing. But yeah, I don't think that was necessarily roughing he was just playing to the whistle..

"So I think that speaks well to the fact that Matt Ryan does not let these games getting his head in anything. He does a really good job bouncing back which Gina think should contributes to some better level of competency, at least and being at home should help. But at the same time it the whole, the whole offense just looked discombobulated throughout the game. So if you don't feel confident in them. I don't. I don't think anyone could blame you. It's just been a rough way to be a falcons fans be quite honest. I think just in general. So Brian, the Panthers offense at home, put up sixteen points against the Dallas Cowboys obviously week one. It's hard to know what teams have great defenses who you're going against. You know, was it a factor of the Cowboys defense being really good? Did the Panthers leave points on the field. Tell us a little bit about what we can expect from this Panthers offense. Coming into this game. Well, start off that game should have been a blow out. They had a lot of stupid mistakes. They gave up really turnover that could have been voided. That game the Panthers dominated that game on offense, and they turtled up as they usually do once they have a lead. But in the getting they were, they were looking very sharp and. The big problem right now is obviously the office of line, but they have the contingency plan in place with north Turner where he can adjust where Mike Shula didn't. The short passing game is going to be a big deal and. Christian McCaffrey should be involved. Torrey Smith's jarash, right? They're all good guys for short yardage passing. I'm not terribly worried about this offense. As far as a passing running is concerned mainly just worried about actually protecting him Newton because the offensive line is so nest up right now, but schematically speaking and from coaching standpoint, they looked good. They looked like they were trying to execute what exactly what north Turner wanted. And they seem like the that game probably should have ended like twenty eight or thirty five to eight or something like that, but they gave the ball up on stupid turnovers. So obviously that's not something where you can look to this weekend, say, hey, they're gonna make that right this week. 'cause you know, it's the second week of the NFL and practice in what not. You know, getting getting everything up to snuff is not. Something that happens within the first two weeks of the season, obviously. But. So far can looks good in this offense. And if he can stay upright, he's gonna be good. Yeah, I'll say I did actually because the fact that the falcons didn't have a game this weekend. I watched the Cowboys and the Panthers game, and it did seem like they, they were moving ball. They just left points on the field through turnovers and whatnot. Probably lot closer score wise than how it felt from a game performance standpoint. So I don't. I, it's, I think it remains to be seen in the specially with Olsen out. I'm not sure you know what that's going to do in the long-term over the next few games for the Panthers in obviously, this offense of line. I, if it plays at the level that people think it will. They could end up being a a hindrance to the offense in particular for for Cam Newton, if he's consistently getting hip Heinlein scrimmage. So definitely some question marks, but at the same time. It sounds like you guys have very similar experience where game one, just there is a lot of sloppiness that prevented the game from going as well as it could have. And one of the big things that people will look at with Greg Olsen is like, oh, well, last year they were struggling a bit. Sometimes on offense. They have a lot more weapons than they did last year. Nam so that him not earth as bad as it did last year. It's still sucks because he's the security blanket Cam Newton, but they had a lot more guys. You can make plays the ball now where compared to last year there was Kaelin clay in a Brenton Bersin who were their third and fourth option. So it's it's bad boy. Exactly. You boy. Yep. So obviously on the other side of Cam Newton and that offensive line made out of paper, shake cutouts is the falcons defense. So Gina. Obviously going on the road is hard, but you know, with again with Dion and Kiana in their dispel CNN's defense played really, really well against the eagles..

"Doc twenty. Sorry. Cox twenty-six naps on defense did not know that much. That's almost half the snaps he played more than peppers. I have two things I wanna point about out about the defense before we move forward. Number one, as far as bad things go. I. Who was it? I Don Terry PO drop into covers it one point and I was sitting there thinking why. And it turned out to be the first down because Dak Prescott through the balls halfback who was in Dante repose zone, and I'm just sitting there like. Whose idea was that? The heaviest guy on the defensive line is dropping into coverage right now. It didn't hurt them that much obviously. But that was. Little bit questionable. As far as another part of the bad things go. Colin Jones had to play a little bit when did nor a searcy- went down with injury. I don't think he played bad, but it's definitely not not ideal for Colin Jones to be your primary backup there. So hopefully that doesn't continue throughout season, but as far as good. Yeah, go ahead. Also prize gauldin get a single snap on defense. Like I know this first game in the season in the coaching staff likes better than stuff, but I would've thought they would've worked a little bit especially because Dallas's passing attack is completely the name. There is nothing threatening on that at all. Yeah, I think Ron. They asked Ron about that. And he said that golden is Mike Adams backup, man. That's why he didn't play because Mike Adams didn't have to come out which doesn't make any sense. Like you said, put him in Maine, rotate Mike item, three years old. They need to be rotated out. Yeah, he played. I think my Gaddum's played every single sat yet every single snap. So. He was on. I was going to mention as my good good things person. He didn't play. Well. He had a couple of really good tackles, especially the open field against Ezekiel Elliot. I know I make jokes about his age on Twitter, but I think he's genuinely very good starting safety and Carolina should be glad to have him considering the fact that the rest of these rookies or Colin Jones or veterans. So I was happy phantom, Colin Jones, slander coming from your mouth after all the high. I was thinking the same thing. Gra. He's been your boy. All all offseason. Now you're now you're sitting here putting no faith in him. As a defensive player is a safety. Little. That I did this. I Rana cly just say no. Well, well, well, why are you coming out of character now? Yeah, exactly. Brian, you're not supposed to like, come here. We're recording. You're only supposed to do that. We're not recording. I'm trying to be. Trying to bring them a genuine quality experience here, and my trolling is fun on Twitter and fun on the scratching post. But podcast, I'm, it gets serious. This show all business. Yep. Just jokes here to give you. Yeah. To give you listeners pick behind the curtain, we'd really don't think Colin Jones. Is that good football? We just like to make fun of the fact that you guys hate him so much. So there you have it is the same thing with Brenton Bersin to be honest. And we know he'll be back soon. So. One injury away. He's gonna be Greg Olson's replacement. Brin versus showed up to practice on Tuesday, and he's just, he's just now fat and he's now it's, I did you just the move? That's what he is. Yeah. I mean, he's already got the height. And he's got the whiteness to that always helps. People don't realize it, but Britain, Burson six, four. You know, people just think he's just a little scrawny white kid, but he's actually got good size for wideout. He's six, four, two hundred and ten pounds. Tepper if you're listening signed, burst replacement and savior for Greg Olsen. So. But that's eight yacht into the offense because. You know, obviously, Greg Olsen went down, but the offense still managed to score sixteen points in arguably they could have scored a lot more. In fact, like if you weren't looking at the scoreboard, you watch the whole game. I would've thought that game was a blowout..
