Russia launched a wave of missile attacks in Ukraine today as a delegation of African leaders hoping to broker peace between the two countries arrived in Kiev. Two people were injured in that attack. Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Russian tactical nuclear weapons have now been moved to Belarus. Putin made those remarks today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and he was asked today what the purpose was and he responded that the move was about containment and to remind everyone thinking of inflicting a strategic defense on them. Last week we told you that Belarus's President Alexander boasted Lukashenko that these weapons were being moved there and then this week he said they were there two days ago that and they were three times stronger than the nuclear weapons used by the US on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In 1945 that's not true because these are tactical nukes not strategic nukes and tactical nukes are much less powerful but these weapons still being in Belarus is an obvious reminder of how dangerous they can be in the hands of a dictator.
