"History, 23 years old, youngest champion ever. When he won that belt, he won on he just wasn't on the street of murderers row of UFC fighters that he just dominated. Rampage don't give him, just don't give him a drug test. And that's the only thing that kind of, you know, that's the one knock against him. A lot of out of the octagon stuff. But inside of that cage, he was the man. There's nobody that's ever done it better and now he's moving up to heavyweight. It's going to fight Stipe Miocic hopefully in September. I love it. Let's see what happens. That's TJ's top 5 favorite. The big S grab bag. I love this list and I love what you're doing. It's a great list. A great list right there is what we're talking about. And obviously, people will be like, where's McGregor? Was this guy that guy? You can only have 5, sometimes 6. Where's rampage? Ronda Rousey. I mean, you're as Ronda Rousey. Where's Amanda Nunes? I mean, again, that's what I was talking about with Brendan Fitzgerald is what I love about the sport. It's not heavyweights. And it's not middleweights. And it's like it can be anybody that anyone can headline the card at that. That's the thing that people want to see. And you give credit to shows like The Ultimate Fighter and whatnot for building the personalities of these guys to then and then now you look at a guy like Patti pinglet and you're like, well, everybody wants to see this guy. If he can continue to fight, continue to be good. I love that you brought that out right here right now in honor of Brendan Fitzgerald saying here in honor of the nosebleeds, our show. I'm very excited. Maybe we'll look forward to that. Show a little promo of that or a little clip from that. And the next hour. Next hour, we're going to talk some college football with Dave revson. Obviously, things in hour two, the Big Ten is now coast to coast with USC. Big Ten country range. We're in Big Ten countries. And the big country. It's amazing. It's interesting, but at the same time, it's it'll be cool. And you look at the LA market. Will there be others? Kevin Warren just said that no more PAC 12 teams will be when I thought, oh, Cal and Stanford, they absolutely should. We'll talk about all that with rever and we'll find out where things are at because you have a potential later, the biggest game of the year, Michigan, Ohio State. Those both those teams could be 11 and oh, we were talking about a brockman. Yes, you know, Alabama is going to be great. They'll be at the top. Yes, you know, Georgia will be great. They'll be up there. Clemson may be great and be back up there again at this time. Notre-Dame looks like they're going to be good. But that mission Ohio State game could be two, three. Could be one three one four. You're looking at that could be the best game of the year happening at the best time of the year. So we'll get into all of that. Plus Brock when you got a little segment that's gone. Yeah, we're going to do a little Friday staple. You know it's coming to TJ what's more likely an NFL edition now that decreases in his back. I love it. Football, we now have think about this guys. We now have 6 straight months of football weekend. There is football every single weekend from now until mid February. And again, once you get into the college football season, that's when I'm at my absolute best because you've got a college on Saturday, NFL on Friday. And NFL on Sunday and some other college on Friday two. All that stuff coming up, hour three, love it, Randy clarifying for rich eisen on NBC sports on peacock and serious XM 85. Stay with us for hour three. Don't let this flop. The new podcast from Rolling Stone focused on the latest TikTok trends and memes with EJ Dixon and Brittany spanos. People on TikTok are becoming convinced that pandas are not real animals. There's a lot of trivia about pandas that just underscores how weird they are. Like, did you know they're carnivores, but they almost exclusively eat bamboo? No. They also pee upside down. Did you know they love to pee upside down? Don't let this flop. "I love this. Thank you, rich eyes, and the great rich eisen for letting me give me the keys to this Rolls Royce of a show. I bring to me and on the show right now, perhaps one of the greatest to compliment accomplishments of all time, my oldest daughter, daisy. Daisy, how are ya? I'm good. I'm loving it. You've done a great job. Thank you. And I'll pay you more later. For saying that. She is, we do bits together, and that was the thing that I told you the joke. She's the one who directed the video. That doesn't look like you at all. On the billboard. Fantastic. Comedy is currency in our family. Do you agree? Absolutely. So I'm going to tell this story because we saw a bra. And then we'll just talk about we'll ask you some questions a little bit, but I'm glad that you're with me. We're like the new squad brothers. We are, I'm replacing Jason. Thank you. Jay, you're out of here. You're out. So broccoli and I so Jay and brockman and I, we were at the espys together, because Sarah Tiana, who wrote on the nosebleeds, she was amazing, also run on the espys. We all got a chance to go because we were promoting the nosebleeds. Here we are in a great rock and let's possess exactly one too many watermelon seltzer. Those little hard seltzers kind of get you out of nowhere. Jay's in the back. He clearly didn't have enough of that. He was getting there. And we just had the best time, and we go down to the main lobby floors, all the stars are coming in. And I love that brockman's there with us, because brockman is pushing us to go over and talk to people. Because you guys were like, oh man, look, it's so and so like, should we go, to Kim and matumbo? Should we go get a picture? I'm like, yes, just get a picture with you. Can you get a picture? And we blocked him from going to the bar. And so we did in wag the finger. We're like, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. We saw Albert Pujols. The hug that Pujols gave us was, I mean, we know him. He is just amazing and he got the humanitarian award. I love that he's a cardinal again. Thanks for coming back home. So I want to tell this story about Brandi Chastain because you see that we're here with Brandon chesney. We have the best brandy Chastain story for her. And it's going to tell you there she is. She is amazing. Did a great title 9 presentation there. Either she's going to love it or we're going to have to leave the espys right now. And brockman is like, you got to go over and talk. Got to tell her. You got to tell her. So we tell her, we say brandy, you're either going to love this or hate us. But in 1999, we're out in Long Island at our now our cousin. He married our cousin, Steve Schwartz, married Melissa applebaum. Applebaum Schwartz. You can't get more Jewish than that. His bachelor party, which is just out of the house barbecuing drinking beers and just guys hanging out. No strippers. Daisy, no strippers. Okay. If your daughter off the polls. I was like, no strippers whatsoever. So we're like, this is just us right. And this is how much of a no stripper we're just guys hanging out. We start watching the Women's World Cup. And it's a championship game. It's just we stopped talking to each other. We're watching the Women's World Cup. It's like almost like that's what we're designed to do. I'm telling you, we're telling brandy this story. Brandon chest ain't steps up in the PK section. Kick drills it through the women win. She takes her shirt off, rips it off as just wearing a sports bra and flexing iconic iconic moment and we turn to Steve got to be our cousin. We said there's your stripper. You're welcome. You finally got the ship right there. We told that the branch has in and we waited and by the way, brandy's 16 year old son was right there too. I'm like, I don't know why we're telling this to this kid, but can I set him up with daisy? Georgia, my younger daughter. Anyway, we told her that and we were waiting for her to be like, get out of here. I got to go do this serious title. She laughed so hard. And I'm like, I love you, brandy Chastain. I love you. Thank you for being you. And thank you for having a sense of humor about yourself and I was like brockman was right. I'm glad we went over there. I had to go over there. So much fun, daisy. What is it like having two minutes left? So daisy, tell us was like, what's it like having me as your dad? Well, it's great. It's awesome. You're funny, but there's a butt coming. There's a shoe that drops. There's something that I've learned about sports and Eliza and I may not know everything about sports, but what I do know is that it's bad if you have to say, I'm so sorry, it's my dad's team before I tell like teenage boys, what team I root for. I'm like, I'm so sorry. The Cardinals. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, University of Michigan. There you go. I'm so sorry. The St. Louis blues. Yes. People are like, oh my God, and I'm like, it's my dad's team. I know. But you've been to a Michigan game. Tell me the feeling you had when they played mister brightside. I cried. When I heard the entire big house singing mister brightside, it made me cry. I mean, it legitimately is and was, it's this amazing experience. Football is one of the best things ever and it's one of the reasons why I want to go to the school. And I was at the coliseum in Rome. And I turned to my dad and went, dad, I don't think this is as big as the big House. And I'm like, and it's not. Get her out there. Get her on there. Yeah. It's great having you as a dad. I love it so much. This kid's a theater kid. She goes to a performing arts high school here in LA and directing and writing and doing all that stuff. I could not be more proud of this kid. It's like we do all these things in this world. We do comedy and we get to chance to do this show. We make a show like the nosebleeds, check it out. You should everybody should see it. But then you're like, this is the best, the most important thing is sitting right here. Greatest project I've ever worked on in my life. Thank you guys so much, brockman. Thank you. Hoskins, all of our guests, Adam rank, Brendan Fitzgerald, Dave revson. I'm Randy schloss brothers. Thank you so much. And I'll see you next time. Don't let this flop. "So hard to spell that he actually got it tattooed on his back. He had a tattooed on his back. Thank you, TJ. I'm Sklar. That's three consonants in a row. Nobody gets it right. This is Brandon. This is how bad it is that and how my dad knew that your name is right. We'd go to restaurants, and we'd be waiting. You put your name in and they call you over the intercom. My dad's name was dick Sklar, but he went by Richard. And we'd hear over the intercom, Richards, party of four, and we'd be like, yep, that's us. Because we knew giving them Sklar they wouldn't be able to do it. That's like our buddy just in there. He tattooed it on his back. I appreciate that you have never called me Brandon. Yeah, Brandon. You're like the only person. Brandon. Brandon, you get it right every time. Brennan Fitzgerald, a Fitz nation podcast host, well, I'm very excited. Any future fights coming up in the next couple of weeks. I know there's a big one on August 20th, just give a little because that's the day we're dropping the last three episodes of the nosebleeds into coincide with this big one on August 20th. Congratulations on the show by the way. Thanks, man. All three of the first months. They're phenomenal. Thanks, buddy. Yes. Yes. So yeah, it's a pay per view next week. I will say tomorrow, we're on ESPN. So that's a lot of people, you know, if you're just getting into the UFC there is so much quote unquote free content, but included with cable subscriptions and accessible content outside of the pay per views tomorrow, I mean, we got a great main event tomorrow, Jamal hill and Thiago Santos, these guys are like oh yeah. Guys action action packed and it's on big ESPN so they think stage we're at the apex that's going to have that Fight Club feel to it. I love it. We kind of dominate ESPN in the summer because it's just like based on what's going on. That's great. So now football is obviously getting going. Yeah, next week Kamaru Usman Dana White and I think he aptly said last week Kamaru Usman is the welterweight champion and he's really starting to put himself among the best of all time. That's right. Who's the greatest of all time? You can start saying Kamaru Usman and have a really strong argument for it. And he's got a big challenge next week in Leon Edwards who's from Birmingham, England. It's going to be a great fight, Salt Lake City gets the pay per view. And the machine keeps on rolling, summer into fall. I love it. Brandon Fitzgerald, thank you for being a part of the first season of the nosebleeds. We'll have you back on there again. Thanks for doing our podcast. We love doing fits nation at Brendan Fitz TV, follow this guy. Thanks for joining us, man. I love it. And good luck to you. Randy, I'll talk to you soon, man. Thanks as always. Have a great one. Brandon love him so good. Brockman is a great guy. UFC stuff get this guy on. Yeah, he's really good. Should we take a break? Let's take a break. Take a break, come back, TJ's top 5. TJ's top 5 after the break, I absolutely love it and there's a couple more things to clean up because we'll talk a little Dallas for both that. We'll be

"Up and so the lights are kind of above, so it looked like a movie, like yes. Sweat. The sweat kinda glistens off and it's like a dog off the guy's head is collapsing. I mean, it really didn't kind of look like a movie. It seemed like the slow motion. Yeah. And then all of a sudden you have a guy that's knocked out in front of you and I was just like, holy smokes. It's amazing. It has real consequences. And you never know when stuff like that is going to happen. That's right, and you talk about that. One guy controlling a fight one woman controlling a fight the entire time, but if you just make one mistake or let your guard down or walk into something or don't see a turnaround backhanded punch or elbow that's thrown you're out. You're done. And the tide can turn so quickly, which is why I think it's so exciting for fans to watch these fights and we've been to some I've seen it in arenas before I went to key arena with my buddy Tom Segura, great comic and we were watching Rogan got us tickets and we went and saw it and I was just amazed at how like you said it can turn on a dime. I think that's what makes this sport so exciting. The other thing that's great about this sport and you can speak to this too is I feel like and how it took over boxing is in terms of popularity. They make the fights you want to see. This fight was what 8 9 months ago. We're looking at the second one now. How long did it take to make Pacquiao Mayweather 5 years? And it was 5 years too late. Yeah. You know? Well, in boxing, it's very splintered in terms of the power in terms of who makes decisions. You got each boxer, each camp, each promoter, everybody's got everybody's got to get their slice of the pie that's like very different in the UFC. There's a governing body. Yeah. Yeah, the big plus is that the UFC is known as kind of the NFL of mixed martial arts, basically there's no question that we're the top promotion. And so all the biggest fighters on a fight here, and then they all want the championship, so they get to the championship. You've got to beat these guys and the UFC it's just, it's the most, it's the closest thing to a league. It's not a league. It's very tough to kind of explain exactly what it is, but there's a reason why they call it a promotion because you promote big fights that fans want to see. And boxing just got so splintered with power in different directions for so long. And we came to a point where now it's really tough to make the big fights you want to see. It's so rare. And the UFC did the opposite. They grew the sport from the inside out under this one promotion that was kind of controlling things. And now all of the best fighters want to be in the UFC and they want to test themselves against all the other best guys in the UFC and girls. That's amazing. So look, with our show the nosebleeds, you participated in it. You were phenomenal in it. I love how we pitched it to you on a conference call. We talked about this with you on our podcast. And as we're pitching you the concept of what we're asking you to do, you start cracking up. And I was like, he gets it. He totally gets what we want him to do. He's going to do it and he's going to crush it. And you did. You're amazing. Added like flair, but more importantly gave the bit that we were trying to do credibility. By the way, you pulled it off because you understood what we were trying to do. We're trying to bring our show and create new fans of UFC through comedy. That's the way in. For people who maybe don't know a ton about UFC who are maybe watching this or listening to this on SiriusXM 85. Please tell them a couple of fighters that you might be like, all right, check out this guy. Check out this woman. Check out a Thai tui vaso or Israel Adesanya. Tell me a couple of fighters for the sort of uninformed to try and get in on it. So to me, I would say one of the most entertaining athletes on the planet, no matter the sport is Justin Gaethje. His last name is G a E TH JE. So it's like this weird kind of looking name. Anomalous smelling. I'm telling you, if you Google this guy, YouTube them, whatever, like there are highlights out there for this guy. He is at a top level guy he fought for a title last. His fights never disappoint. I mean, you talk about being an entertainer. And this guy is what it's like if you just swing like crazy, but he's so very skilled as well. I mean, to me, I would say he's my favorite fighter in the UFC and I don't even particularly know him. I know a lot of these guys and I'm some friends with a lot of them. There's nobody like Justin gaichi. What way does he? And it's one of those like, you know, he just can't, you can't really describe how impressive he is. And what is the highlight of what weight classes he fighting at? He's 155 pounds. Got it. He's in the glamour division. He hasn't fought McGregor, but that's about the only fight that he hasn't had. And that fight would be bananas. Bananas. Crazy. He fought for the title. He fought for the title. I think in February, he didn't win it, but it was a crazy fight for the two or three minutes that it lasted. It's been the UFC about 5 years now and he's just delivered. Every time. Every time out, I love that.

"New podcast that is a new initiative from UFC fight pass, our buddy Crowley Sullivan, the great Crowley Sullivan. We talked about him yesterday. Giving us an opportunity to redo the nosebleeds there, but also started along with that company and it's great people who work there and along with the blessing of Dana White to start a bunch of podcasts and yours is one of the great ones there where you really talk to people about their process and how athletes and other people we got to do it and how they get to where they are. You study it a lot because you see these fighters doing what they do. We talked about on our podcast, but a guy like Patti pilot is he the next kind of big star he wins his fight and then shakes his butt in front of the guys. I'm not going to say what he did. He promised to do it. It has to do with tea, but that's all I'm going to say. He promised to do it and then he did do it. This guy is kind of he's exciting and fun to watch. I love that he doesn't mind if he's fat during the off season or when he's not training. Tell me about where he is now in the fight world where are they viewing him? Well, and it's funny because when I came on your podcast Randy and it was a week before he fought. That's right. Who's the next big show up and coming and I said, well, I don't know the result, but when this thing comes out a week later, patty template is either going to have become an even bigger star. He went out and did just that. In the first round, he has the Conor McGregor type quality that he's very magnetic. People want to hear him talk. He's very funny witty. He has also has no filter. People love the no filter thing. And then on top of it, at least so far, he's backed up all the trash talk. He said, I'm going to go out there and I'm going to finish you in the first round and he's done that. And that is the key factor in what set McGregor apart. He said, I'm going to knock you out in the first round and sure enough, he went out and knocked all these guys out in the first round all the way to a championship. So there's a lot of fighters that are funny and that are quirky personality and get a fan base. They don't always back it up and do what they said they would do in the fight so far patty's done that. That's what set him apart in addition to the fact that it looks like a beetle. We had tea time with somebody after he said he's just like he's such a such a fun guy. So next, I think you'll see him on a major pay per view card. You'll see him not like headlining. He's not going to fight for a championship anytime soon. Right. But he will be on a pay per view. I think it will be in New York. If I had to guess, it would be in New York, November. That's a big one. Madison Square Garden, baby. Yep. But at the very least, maybe Vegas will be the next one, but yeah. I mean, you think he's there, yeah. He's people will pay people will pay to see him. I love that you mentioned Conor McGregor because he kind of has the swag of Conor McGregor. He's a little goofier than Conner is. Although, although I'll say this about Conor McGregor, brockman here was telling me that Conor McGregor may be in roadhouse two, is that really, are you hearing that as well? Why remake that movie? And then the other thing is McGregor yesterday, I think, sent out some cryptic tweets like, hey, MMA, it's been real. I'll see you later. Now, he's retired like ten times already. Yeah, he's like kiss the band kiss. That he's done, then the MMA fans get set on fire. But I don't mean patty as a carbon copy of mcgrady. No, no. Vince Connor has come to superstardom. We haven't yet had the crossover household name star the new one. Patti is the new one. He's a new one. I mean, a lot of MMA stars on the women's side two coming from England. That's a good thing because the sport itself is very international and to get that fan base locked in is kind of great. Well, it's so big over there. Yeah. And it's growing over there. And you have to keep in mind it would be much bigger if they didn't have to wait till four in the morning to watch the big time. I know. I mean, I feel for the fans over there, really do. They basically have to pull an all nighter for every UFC event. But obviously they get crazy support at home. They kind of get that major loyalty like the arena in Las Vegas is filled up with Irish people. Yeah, from Ireland to see Conor McGregor. So you get that kind of chip on the shoulder, us against the world thing. When you come from a place that's that small. Right. The British Isles are not that big of a place. So you get the crazy loyalty back home, Europe kind of pulls for European stars no matter the country. And then over here, we like the accents. Yeah. They sound cool. They do. They do. So they get this like worldwide fan base because of the small places that they're from. And in a world where social media is a huge part of it. You can build quote unquote your brand on a global level, Instagram, TikTok, what have you, if you can just get that recognition, which again, UFC provides that platform for those fighters to have that recognition. We're talking to Brendan Fitzgerald. Fitz nation is the name of the podcast. I want to get that out there. It's a fantastic podcast. And of course, you play by play announce these fights. You're sitting ringside at these fights. What's the thing that's, I saw a fight at the apex, which is, was designed during the pandemic as a place for fights to happen in Las Vegas right next to UFC. And I was up close. It's fascinating to see it. There's no other way of the apex. Everybody's out there. Everyone's up close there. What was the first time when you called? Because you didn't come from up through the underbelly of UFC. You came from other sports. The first time you called a UFC fight and you're sitting there ringside and you're watching it closer than everybody else or octagon side. What was the thing that kind of shocked you the most or was sort of grabbed you the very first time if you can think back? Do you remember what the match was? So it wasn't one one that I called. It was like the month before I first called the UFC event in arena, but I was watching it at MSG at Madison Square park. And I hadn't been to a UFC event before number one. Number two, I hadn't been back close. Yeah. I had called a few fights on the contender series, but that's like a different setup. You're kind of calling it off the screen. Right. So Matt MSG. In the first row, I'm kind of shadowing to get a sense of what's going to go when I start doing it. And open saint Preux was fighting coriander at MSG and Cory Anderson's kind of controlling it, looking really good or whatever. And over in saint Peru just throws up this head kick and I'm looking up and I didn't really see he was kind of blocked because we call fights off the monitors a lot because if a big guy has his back to me and he eats an uppercut. Hard to see. Hard to see. Right. So anyway interesting looking up and I'm kind of like blocked in all of a sudden I see the guy kind of stand up straight knees lock out and then collapses head slams on the canvas. Wow. Right in front of me. Wow.

"It's Randy Sklar, feeling it for rich eisen on the rich eisen show. We've got a brand new show, Jason and I do on UFC fight pass. It's called the nosebleeds. It's basically cheap seats rebooted. Everyone is asking us, that's the thing we go, brockman, wherever we go, and doing stand up, or even on Twitter, Jay and I have done a number of shows over the years since cheap seats went off the air basically around 2010. And this is the one that even up until like a couple months ago because when is cheap seats coming back. Now we can actually say it's coming back. And there's billboards all around LA. We're so excited about it. The nosebleeds, it's on. The first episode you can see for free on UFC on their official YouTube page, but the link is on our Instagram at Sklar brothers in our bio. Go watch it, leave a comment. We'd love to hear from you. Let them know. We were trying to spread the word out as much as we can. We tried to use a lot of UFC talent and people we used a bunch of fighters. And then I showed brockman this bit. I don't want to give it away. But it was we were like, who can we use from the UFC announcing stable who will understand what we want to do with this bid? We had a baby Fight Club. That's all I'm going to say. And we asked this gentleman to run around table of talking about breaking down the baby Fight Club. I don't know if he's on right now if he's with us. He joins us by way of the Mercedes Benz vans phone line. He is came from ESPN U we just had him on our podcast. We just did his amazing podcast and now he does on the line as a show for UFC fight pass he calls events and he's just one of our favorite people in the entire universe there. Brennan Fitzgerald, what's up buddy? How are you? Randy. We meet again, my friend. I love it. I love it. I'm great. How are you coming off of a crazy UFC two 77 last week? Make some sense of it for us. This is my first question. The biggest fight of there was, of course, Nunes, Pena two, how do we make sense of the first site after watching this second fight? Well, Amanda Nunes, I don't want to say she was making excuses, but those in the know knew that there were some circumstances behind the scenes. I think she had a knee injury. I think she was just getting over COVID. Like this all kind of came out after the fact where things started to make sense as to why she looked so spent so early in that fight after dominating the first round. And I think that she, you know, maybe it was a bit overconfident just thought she could show up and win because that's what she's done so many times. And obviously julianna Pena is one tough cookie as you showed last week despite not winning. So now Amanda Nunes at full capacity show that she outclassed her quite a bit. The big question now is what's next do we get the trilogy in the fight? Does Amanda Nunes still want to fight? Does she want to go out on top? Yeah. There's still some questions to be answered. So what is it? So now let's reverse that question. What about you said Juliana Pena, fantastic, she fought hard. She was dominated by Nunes. I mean, it was not even I watched. There was not even close in certain moments. I mean, that was just a domination from beginning to end. It wasn't a 15 second submission. Like you were saying in the first fight, it looked like it looked like Nunes was tired or fighting something other in that there are people who said that that submission hold would not have held her in other times. She just seemed more tired and couldn't go on. Is that what you saw in the first fight? Yeah, I mean, every coach that I talked to, they said, the arm wasn't under the chin, like she was just ready to be out. Right. She gave it her best shot. She was completely broken at that point. She was ready to be out. She tapped. And giuliana is as tough as it gets that she's showed last week. And her confidence is never going to be in question. So she wants another crack at it to say, you know, let's do this for the rubber match. I mean, anytime you send someone to plastic surgery right after the fight, you dominated them. That's exactly. She split her head open, and that was it. It's one of the things I love about UFC is that a fight like that, it's a women's fight, but that's the head of the card. It's very egalitarian in that way. Well, there's no other sport that I can think of that is as equal. I guess you can say tennis. Not really. A big Wimbledon final or U.S. open or any of the tennis majors is going to get bumped for both male and female athletes, but there's no there's no event that's like the UFC where it can be as big and it's immense fight. It's a woman's fight. They'll alternate. You know, it's all mixed in and yeah, I mean, it's one of the unique things about our sport. We're on the Mercedes Benz vans phone line with the great Brennan Fitzgerald. If you don't follow him at Brendan Brendan Fitz TV, is that correct? That's it. Brandon Fitz TV on Instagram and whatnot. "We can't assault this guy. Like we promised dandy not like not enough. Andy Dalton's your friend that you barely see that you flake on at the last second. That's fine. Sorry, Andy. I know, I know you bought the tickets, but exactly. You can find someone else to go with you. It's 5 minutes before the movie. Andy Dalton's sitting there with an extra ticket. Surprises this year, teams that you feel like will surprise you. Who do you think is going to come out of nowhere and have a season that will be memorable? I would say, you know who a team I don't want it to be, I don't want it to be Detroit because people are already hard not on the line. That's the thing. Hard docs have hard knocks. I'm tired of Detroit already. Everybody acting hard. I know. Let us start. Like every damn Campbell every Dan Campbell. You're just saying ridiculous things. Kyle Brandt was on good morning football, talking about what was this saying, like, unfragmented about drowning the other day. Like, oh, we're gonna keep churning, we're gonna keep churning until we bury you. That's not the metaphor. That's not even a metaphor. Churning. And everybody. They want to act like, you know, they're like, hey, they were three and three at the end of last year. You're like, there were three and 14. That's not a good thing. Like three and three at the end of the year. It was three wins and oh my gosh. Does Jared Goff still the quarterback? Did I miss a memo? We're like Jared Goff was replaced by somebody? He's still there. Exactly. Okay, so why are you acting like Aidan Hutchinson program changing player? And he might be, I think he has in him, JJ watt, DNA, and you watch the hard knocks of the Houston and he was the guy in Houston. He was the guy who stayed after and signed every autograph. He was the guy that the kids were really excited to see. If Aiden Hutchinson can be that. And I'm saying, look, he may be more TJ watt than JJ watt, but you never know. Whatever. He didn't want to be pretty good. I think I would take TJ watts, especially at this point. Maybe that's the beginning of the turning around. I like it. And he's a hometown guy. And it's a great story. I don't want to besmirch. I don't want to be a smirch Detroit. Like they're fine. Again, you talk about wrestling. You need the job or you need this. Needs a job or that you think is going to win. You're like, he's the guy who shows up in the room. He's not going to beat Triple H. I don't know. He's a guy who shows up in the ring. He's already in the ring. He doesn't have a sweat coat or anything. He just has like a one kind of a knot that glittery jacket. But he's going to get over it. Like when you first time you saw orange Cassidy, you thought like that gimmick wouldn't work. And then you're like, oh my God, this guy is amazing. I don't want that for the line. Orange. Orange Cassidy is the vanilla sky of wrestlers. There you go. How about that? People can follow you at Adam rank on Twitter. I had on Twitter and on Instagram. It's Adam rank NFL because there's some kid in the UK. Use your full name. What is happening? Use your full name. That's all I'm asking. There's an English Premier League pundit named Adam rank, Ken, and he had to switch that, I don't know. Something crazy. Give him back his thing, but Adam rank NFL on Instagram. And people can see you're about to go run over there. Total access today. I've been doing the gamut. I did GMF be this morning. I love it. Came here to do everywhere, you know? That's what I was in Chicago, Cincinnati. It's been a fun time and your fantasy stuff is just, I love it so much. Thank you. You keep doing what you do. Thank you for coming over. Oh my gosh, thanks for having me. It's great. Thank you. I know. I love these guys. Adam rink, everybody. Hey, there you go. Let me say this about NetSuite, guys. If you don't know your numbers, you don't know your business. Adam rank is right here and he's a stats guy. He knows he's a fancy guy. That's true when your business has grown fast and even more true when there's a lot of uncertainty, inflation is ruining is running rampant, supply chains are clogged and the labor market is tight. What does that mean for the margins? We don't know, but not every business in the dark over 31,000 businesses know their numbers because they use NetSuite by Oracle, the number one cloud financial system.

"And they did not work out. These things don't always work. I'm rooting for Justin Herbert. I'm a huge fan. I love Austin Eckler. I love the Chargers. I want them to get over the hump. Me too, and I think it's good for the game if they do. It's nice. I think the NFL as far as star power specifically in the quarterback rooms is in the best shape of any league because you've got old time great veterans that are Rogers Tom Brady. Then he got mid level guys who've been around the Russell Wilson's of this room who've been around those guys are great. And can still put up crazy numbers and still really good. And then you have a lot of young dudes. I would put my homes out put Josh Allen, I would put Justin Herbert and a handful of others that I put tua in there. You never know what that kid is going to do. They are so there are so many franchises, the quarterback for the jets, if he ever stops hanging out with his moms for a second year, the second year guys, you look at Trevor Lawrence last year, Trey Lance is going to start. Zach Wilson. Where did Jimmy Garoppolo go? I don't know. I think he got a hold out in this kind of figure out because unfortunately nobody helped the most. I don't see, I don't know. If he went to Seattle, I think he was probably better than the guys that they have there right now, but there's not a lot of but also the bad part of training camp is that sometimes these jobs come up and Sam Bradford was traded to Philadelphia a couple of years ago because an injury opened up a spot. Honestly, if I'm the commanders, why did you spend all that money for Carson Wentz? That's right. You could have gotten Jimmy Garoppolo and said, I know that Garoppolo is coming off an injury. And that kind of hurts things a little bit. But whence isn't like the most gruesome injury ever a couple of years ago. What about Garoppolo to a team like the bears? Now I know you don't want to curb what Justin Fields is doing. That's not going to do that. But he's a guy that if things aren't working, he's the kind of insurance policy almost. Well, I mean, that's why they brought in Trevor Simeon. They brought in the guy from northwestern and comes in. He's the guy. He's not going to push him. You want to commit to your number one quarterback. That's the biggest issue what happened last year. As they brought in, they drafted adjusted fields. When his Ohio State quarterback worked out, but these guys are not being drafted as number one quarterbacks. There have been since archly, there's been one other first round quarterback who was Dwayne Haskins, and then it was Justin Fields. They were not producing, it's not like they were turning out these quarterbacks were first round draft picks who went on to be bus. They were like guys who are good college quarterbacks who weren't specifically going to play well in the NFL running backs. They had defensive guys. And they had wide receivers, Ohio State. And now that'll probably start changing with Ryan day, and then we'll start seeing more Ohio State quarterbacks. And it's just a narrative that's hopefully going to go away. But like a lot of when you draft a quarterback in the first round, you should like use him. Like let him take first team reps. Like it's insane. You add absolutely should give it a try. And I feel like people are more willing teams are more willing to do that, because while everybody was doing it last year, Mac Jones, the patriots got rid of Cam Newton, who Cam Newton could obviously still play. But they're like, we don't want any distractions. But the bears, like the patriots get rid of a hall of Famer. Right. But the bears are like, we got any Dalton.

"We're going to talk to MMA where we'll talk about with Brendan Fitzgerald, who's amazing if you guys don't know who he is. But first let's talk about football is really on everybody's mind. I mean the NFL is back preseason is back. People are going to start to draft their fantasy league soon. Are you starting soon to drag thinking about who I'm going to come in a keeper league? We talk about my week kind of a lot on this show because it's absurd. I have a draft that takes 8, 9 hours. There's no time limits. And I'm sure your wife Sarah and your kid feel great about that too. Where's dad? He's doing something that means nothing for 9 hours. Literally, they're actually going out of town this weekend. The draft is at my house this year. Oh my God. Can we travel to the city of the team that wins a Super Bowl? And we all kind of gather. We've been to Denver and Baltimore. We went to Tampa last year. Yeah. So yeah, we talk about my draft, kind of more than we should. TJ, I know everyone's kind of over it, but I am already going to have already begun thinking about who I'm keeping. And the strategy and what I want to do with my quarterback situation. I'm just like, I'm so immersed in fantasy already and it's still three weeks away. Let me ask you this. Does anyone in their right mind take deshaun Watson? Just even as a bench option. Does this guy see the field this year? Because he gets 6 games suspended from a court, I guess, or court ordered. The league is not happy with it. The league is like he should be out for a year, which I personally agree. I agree that he should be out for a year. I just do, because the NFL is your place of work. It's your business. If you do something wrong or you do something bad your place work, it's a lower bar to clear than the law itself. If you do something that the office is like, this is not a good thing. If there's a guy in your break room at work, in your office room, who just he doesn't bring lunch. He just sits there and watches other people eat their lunch. It's not against the law, but you're like, this guy's creeping everybody out. Somebody says, suspend him, get him out of here for a few weeks. Send him on a non paid vacation. I think most people in the office would be cool with that. I'm saying that the league has the right to be like, all right, one massage therapist saying that you've done something wrong. I understand you can dispute that claim. Two now I'm starting to get suspicious. 30, 30 people filing claims against you. At that point, it's like time to hire an escort and teach her how to massage. You know what I mean? To me, I was so surprised that the browns picked him that he went to the browns. I would have thought that he would have gone to the predators. I know he doesn't play hockey, but darn it doesn't that feel like the right team for this guy to go to. I mean, so now I guess I'm gonna be Carolina Panthers fan because I because I love schadenfreude and you want Baker Mayfield to rise up and have a great year. I mean, is that where we're all sitting at this point? I forget, are you guys browns fans originally? No, so I'm we were Saint Louis Cardinals season ticket holders year after year. So Neil on this, but pre Neil lomax Jim Hart, pat Tilly, not pat Tillman pat tilley. He never served anywhere. He never did anything for his country. He was a good wide receiver, roger worley was his son played baseball with us, but we were huge cardinals fans, but every year they were terrible. Terrible. Dan deardorff, met him and knew him and just great guy, but there were 5 and 11 every year. I remember we had a kicker named novo bojovic. God bless you. Thank you. Soccer player who one time kicked a 52 yard field goal ran into the end zone and spiked the ball. I was like, act like you've been there before. So Jane and I have this new show on, as I mentioned before, the nosebleeds on UFC fight pass. There are a couple of billboards up around. Oh, there's a gigantic when I was going up to Fox yesterday. Yeah. I saw you guys like the 405. It's awesome. My God. So I go, there's one on sunset, right by the comedy store, right? At sunset and king's road, which is a great spot for us. So there it is, right there. That gigantic, these stupid looking mugs. On the top of the thing and I brought my daughter there. And we're filming me and she does a hilarious sketch. My daughter who's here today, 17 years old, she's going to be a senior performing arts high school. Wants to be a director. And she wrote this little sketch for us to do. And it was so funny. She was like, hey, dad, she's filming. That guy looks like you on that billboard. And then her friend walks by and is like, I don't know, I don't see it. And then I turn around and I'm like, yeah, that's Jason. And then I realized, and people are looking at, I'm standing there, filming a thing where I'm then on the it's like act like you've been there before. I would kick to 52. I kicked a 50 TR field and I spiked the ball. So never have that. So that's what I grew up with. The Cardinals, and then I left St. Louis, and then the rams came, and then the rams won. And I was just happy for St. Louis. They weren't really my team, but I was happy for St. Louis that they had one in the rams came back here and you know how it is. It's like, it's your team only when if they lose it ruins your weekend. If they lose in your kind of like, all right, let's go do something. You don't care. If Michigan loses, I'm like, I don't want to talk to anybody. I don't want to see anybody. I'm like, this is when I should get my grocery shopping done. So I'm going to just be pushing people out of the way. I don't care. People are reaching for items that I want. I'm going to yank them. I'll yell at a baby. Keep it down. No one asked your opinion on this. That's if your team, if you're a fan of a team. So I don't really have one now. You know what I mean? But I would root for Baker Mayfield. I would root for this guy to succeed. I root for the Carolina Panthers to make it because I'm like browns, what are you doing? Because let's talk about that. That division, I don't think Pittsburgh is going to be as good. Obviously, no Roethlisberger. I mean, they have a decent defense. They always are going to have some Pittsburgh magic. But I don't know if they're going to be good.

"If you're watching a movie or if you're in a professional wrestling, and you're like, this has been the build. We all know that when Russell mania is at SoFi, Cody Rhodes is winning the title. We just know. That's exactly what's going to happen. That's what the bills feel like. They feel like Cody Rhodes, maybe Josh Allen should go out there, get a tattoo on his neck, like fulfill the whole thing. Thank you. But I think the biggest thing is getting von Miller was such a huge deal for them. And again, people overlook this and it's probably because the doors like me who are so into fantasy football. But all we care about is if Gabe Davis is going to have 15 touchdowns this year and not be like getting von Miller significant because last year when he went to the rams, it was a perfect situation for him. It's like, listen, bro, we don't care what you do during the regular season. Show up come play off time. And I think that that's what buffalo is trying to do. They're like, do it when it counts. We already have a great defense. We already play in a stadium where in an outdoor stadium that's freezing most of the year that make it hard to just put up video game numbers. We already kind of have that. We tamp down your offense by coming in here. You add him on that hopefully for the postseason run. Do the rams look obviously I lost von Miller. Did the rams look like they can repeat or I'm already starting to get where I like Matt Matthew Stafford. They're having issues like, oh, that's kind of the thing that a baseball player has been dealing with. And worried about his art. That's what I don't want to hear. You don't have anything like his shoulder soreness. What is happening? Then shut them down. There's another guy. Yeah, we're good. We know what he's got. He's going to be put Johnny dubs out there, let him play some preseason games. I'm excited about having Allen Robinson out there. I think a lot of people are sleeping on him. What happened last season to just be disregarded? That was a whole, that's a Matt naggy situation. That was mishandled. Alan Robinson has been one of the best professionals. He's played with some of the worst quarterbacks in NFL history and gone out there. But great numbers. Yeah, he's a great Matthew Stafford is healthy than Alan Robinson puts up top 5 numbers. And I think we're going to see something special out of him. I'm rooting for him. Anybody from Chicago, like we're cool. Like Alan Robinson did nothing wrong. We're good with him still. No need to go after him. So, I mean, it's funny. I don't know if we said this to you when you came and did our podcast. I feel like Justin Herbert is like West Coast Josh Allen. To be very similar, they can run big, both guys are 6, 6, 6, 5, 6, 6, great arms. And credit for his athletic ability. He can run. I think Herbert, I don't know why I feel like this could be a breakthrough year for the chargers. Oh my gosh, I hope so. You had gar out here. You're talking about Mike challenge. Which, by the way, I love Fernando tatis. Yeah. Amazing player. When you guys are saying life, stop it. If it's not Shohei Ohtani, it's nobody. I'm a showtime guy. He's the face of base. Why is he in the witness protection program? He's following the angels. He's not and when no, you can come see him any time. He hit two home runs yesterday. My kids were there watching the game. They lost. Who cares? What do you mean? Who cares? I have a set. What does it matter? Mike Trout has 12 career jobs. What I have liked them to be in the playoffs, yes, yes. But you guys don't care. You're a Boston fan. You don't care. Like if Dustin pedroia never played in a playoff game, I would have never cared. And it's like one of those things. I think people MVPs. Listen, I also didn't like him because Cal state Fullerton, we had a rivalry with ASU. I had to come to the Cardinals to win an MVP World Series MVP. He won a second title. That's right, because he did one with the angels. We are the 2002 reunion this season and they all came out and it was amazing to see people like spicy out. I'm like, eckstein. John lackey came back. With just one shoe on, you're like, what's going on, right? Yeah. It was an amazing plan. So I don't even know what my point was. Oh, but what I hope though, to your point, I hope that Herbert doesn't like when we did that when we, when the angels forget it, I've got enough games. I spend enough money there. We debuted the city connect jerseys, and they had Justin Herbert as part of it and you're like, oh, don't do this, still this guy, because if you're talking about somebody who could be the Mike Trout of football, you're like, oh wait, like everybody's just already assuming the Chargers are going to the playoffs. And you're like, I've seen this movie before. I don't want to say, and you're like, well, they brought in Cleo Mac. You're like, yeah, that guy played 7 games last year, right? So Jackson, you're like, yeah, you know, when Tennessee brought in butler, Malcolm butler, they thought they were getting the guy who won the Super Bowl.

"Plus, Big Ten network host Dave ribs in. And now. It's a rich ISON. It's actually Randy Sklar village. And it's actually the batting stance guy, although he is the batting stance guy. I'm feeling it for rich eisen. It's just me, Randy scar Jason's on his way, or if he's there already, to the French Alps, he's hiking around Mont Blanc. He's so lucky. I'll be there later tonight. But we're here. I'm so excited. We have a new show on UFC fight pass. Called the nosebleeds in the first episode is up for free on YouTube. You guys can check that out. But hey, we're streaming right here on NBC, sports on peacock, serious XM channel 85. I listen to it all the time. It's so fun to be behind the desk, brockman's here. Mike's here, TJ's here. The guests we have today are fantastic. I could sit and talk to him for an hour straight. The trade deadline with baseball and MLB, there are so many big moves he was in San Diego to watch Juan Soto's first AB's there, which were incredible. We'll get into all that stuff with him. Obviously football brockman you watched the Hall of Fame game yesterday. I watched every single second of it. Not because I believe you. Not because I'm a huge football fan because I bet the under dude. 'cause you were like, it's raining. It's raining. There's gonna be bad QB play, but then you were like, wait a minute, the Raiders are good. The Raiders are good and they're running all over Jacksonville. There was like a 45 minute delay because of lightning and canton last night. It was pouring down rain, Trevor Lawrence's hair still looked perfect. Yeah, Trevor, I was like, dude, recording a per plus two in one commercial on the sideline. His hair is way too good. Tony, come on, tell me miss Sally walks out there. You're like, God, that guy's I remember when he was the first pick ever. The Jacksonville Jaguars. He was the guy. Talk about a franchise guy. That's the beginning to end. You're the first pick ever for a franchise that needed somebody and you start with an offensive lineman, which everyone's like, who back in the day. No one knows who the offensive lineman are. Nobody knows this guy. This giant 6 7 330 pound guy is going to be the future of our team. Don't you feel like fan base is when they pick a lineman attack or something. They're not happy. It's always like, oh. I guess? That's like the person at the record store who knows more about the bands that anyone who walks in. You know what I mean? You're like, well, I just want a Coldplay album, and they're like, okay. And they're like, this right here is the best thing you'll ever hear in your life, and then they like to let you know that they know more about it. So that's exactly what teams are when they pick the offensive lineman. And so you see basile great career and then go into the Hall of Fame. I mean, we talked about this when we were on the show yesterday. Our mom grew up in Ken, grew up in canton, Ohio. We would go there every year in our dad was too cheap to take us to the Hall of Fame. You guys have been in the hall. Hall of Fame's nice. Oh, it's beautiful. Hall of Fame is super cool. The Hall of Fame is amazing. But the games themselves, this game was just, and most preseason games, but I feel like people are excited about the Hall of Fame game. They put it on TV. It's a big deal. There's a lot of pomp and circumstance. You get the Hall of Famers out there to flip coins and all that other stuff. And then you're looking at these two guys who are like practice squad dudes as well. I don't know, it's not as fun to me. Yeah, not as fun. I guess it's one of those things where when it's been 5 months without football, you're just kind of excited to see guys in helmets, the uniforms, Doug Peterson's out there, not wearing a visor, upset. I lost that bet as well. Doug Peterson to me is fat, John Hamm. Right? He's fat hand. Fat ham, fat ham Doug Peterson. I love fat ham. Peterson's great. He won a Super Bowl for Christ's sake. Give him some credit. Did it with the most Philadelphia named quarterback ever. So Philly has the accident where you swallow the L's. Right. I'm a huge fan of Nick Foles. I swallow all of my elves. Huge phones falls fan. So he had a great moment with that. You're like, maybe he can do it again down there in Jacksonville? I don't know. I don't know. I really it was awesome. It was good to see the Raiders. Raider nation always shows up. It's one of those things, even if they don't have a Hall of Famer, so they have cliff branch going in this year. Yes. So obviously they were showing up and showing out for that. Rain, the stadium's great Mike. You've been there, the new stadium, the new construction that's going on. It's beautiful. It's a beautiful place. It's just nice to see it back. I know with a quality of play, you're not really expecting much, but it's that feeling of like, remember when there was no sports because the pandemic didn't know anything. And then they put on ESPN, they did a horse between the NBA players. NBA and WNBA players said that was the moment at which you realized how the pay disparity, where Mike Conley junior is playing in basically a practice gym and is the back of his house and a WMA player is playing on a hoop in their driveway in Indianapolis and just a simple subdivision. I was like, come on. This is terrible. She's contending with wind. My Conley junior has a climate controlled gym in like a ball machine that's feeding him stuff and there are people like other kids from other balls from other yards are going through the shot. Yes, we had, but still you're so starved for it. You were excited that it's back. So listen, there's so much stuff to get into today. You were like, this is going to go by so fast. And it really will. The truth of the matter is we're going to get into later. We're going to talk about the live golf because it is insane. I really want to get into the now the golfers are suing the PGA for suspending them, which is just fascinating. We'll get into that later, maybe bottom of this hour. We're going to talk to MMA where we'll talk about with Brendan Fitzgerald, who's amazing if you guys don't know who he is. But first let's talk about football is really on

"Two of my favorite guys. Oh my gosh. Adam rank of the NFL network. You took issue, you came here early. Well, I was here early. I took issue with a few number of things if I can get on my chest. Why are you sitting here? We'll do panel, like the old tonight show. There's plenty of room here. We're going to pull in a chair. Doesn't matter. Some of the greatest moments in television or guys doing panel, like Norm Macdonald, Courtney Thorne Smith. Oh my God. Like nowadays, that would never happen. No. Jimmy Fallon's out there trying to recreate magic. It's never going to happen unless you have somebody doing panel. I agree. Reynolds and the dude from win loser draw. Oh, that was another classic one. It was for he was in double dare. Mark summers. Mark summers. And Burt Reynolds when he tried to throw the water on him and that was the pies afterwards. I was never happy. Mark summers don't get into Burt Reynolds marriage history. You're out of your depth. The fact that birds stayed for you, and that's where you went. What is wrong with it? Did he do supermarket sweep too? I'm sure Mark summers did supermarkets. Well, check on that. We'll find that out. And I also, by the way, I also love that you bring me on to these shows. Like the only time I get to do Rome, the only time I get to do is when you're there. You're like the backup quarterback who comes into the game, but he throws the second team guy. That's right. You come into the game and you're like, I'm not, I'm not throwing it to the spot that I'm sort of my guy at the rank, because we practice together. We know, we have a chemistry. The chemistry of that thing. Did you watch any of the game yesterday? I think there were two people. I was on a flight coming back from Chicago. I was out there for training camp. But I did come back and watch a little bit of it. Learn anything. Nothing. But the Raiders are good. The Raiders are going to be good this year. What do we think? I think a lot of people continue to overlook the fact that the Raiders made the playoffs last season. Like everybody talks about the AFC west. Oh, they're loaded up. They're ready to go, I'm not so sure about the Raiders. And you're like, I'm sorry, the team that made the playoffs. That eliminated the Chargers. I know. What was essentially a playoff game, they add devonte Adams, they add Chandler Jones. That's the thing that kind of goes under the radar. Like we're laughing at the tiktoks of hunter Renfro and an Uber. But oh yeah, they also got Chandler Jones, who's one of the best, most excellent pass rushers in the game going alongside the other guy that got there now I'm like space. Yeah, but I've been traveling too much. But yeah, they beefed up their team a team that already made the playoffs. Yes. So did Denver was already a good team. They're already good team and then they added a component to it. I think Kansas City. I know a lot of people, I know if stone street was here, he'd be upset with me. But I think getting rid of tyreek hill is a bigger mistake. It's a bigger deal than a lot of people are talking about. I will say this. When you're talking about fantasy production, yeah. Patrick Mahomes is going to go out there and put up numbers. Like you look at it and runs. You know, he's listening. His passer rating without tyreek hill was over a hundred. He had 7 touchdown zone receptions. That's fine. But if you went back and looked at that game against buffalo, the reason they know what game you're talking about is the history of football. I don't know that game. But that was tyreek hill. A lot of that was most of that was tyreek hill. I mean, Tyree kill was like the guy who just kept on reigning threes in a pickup basketball game at a YMCA. And he keeps coming down and the other guys are like, guard him. Guard him. They couldn't. They could not. They can not stop him. Yes. And every time it's like not just a ten yard over the middle, he turns into 15. 30 yard across the middle. I'm like, no one's seeing this coming. How is this guy dusting everybody? Put four guys on him. You can't make someone else beat you. But again, Travis Kelce. He's got weapons. The players, you'll be fine, but there's a difference. There's a difference between like, are you a playoff team? Are you a Super Bowl team? I think tyreek hill makes them a Super Bowl team. I think they're just, they're good, they're a good team. So is this the year that Josh Allen if he doesn't get into fights with everyone on the team during Pratt? Is this a year that he that the bills can take it over the top and perhaps go to the Super Bowl win one for the great Jew Marv levy? I love that. Great Jew in the sky. I think he's still alive. He just had a birthday, right? 90 6 or something? Just trying to just turn 97, I was told. There you go. Don't get ahead of yourself. I know, but I like the bills. I think everything's been building to this point. It is one of those things.

"Saw. I question my friend. What is the fast. Ufc fight you remember. What should i. The first time i saw the. Ufc was way back in nineteen ninety six. I worked in a video cassette rental store. This is how people used to buy. I used to rent movies. And we had a whole section for ufc fights and this is pretty fascinating and and promised to be very violent. I watched it. It was one round for twenty five minutes. They're kind of locked up for like the whole time. And i thought well this isn't very violent So side i did become a really die hard fan when i really fell in love with it was when there was all the hype surrounding ronda. Rousey yeah met. Ronda rousey should. She had Her training facility in glendale california and it was attached to the little office where you would go to apply for your Tsa pre check. Which would allow you to get through the airport without taking off your shoes. I was just trying to get my pre check clearance and next thing you know. I'm talking to ronda rousey. And and and i really got it got into it so i wanted to watch all all of her stuff. I and then that wow you know. This is actually really really exciting. So it's it's been five or six years that i've been pretty die hard and i've become such a maniac for it like i watch. I watch every fight. What would you most called. I was watching. I'm your tweet. Came up and then they gave you a saw. I don't know if you if you had two saw but they will us tvos watching. I thought very gus for you but thank you saw mid fight. I appreciate that. Yeah brendan fitzgerald said. Stephen likes what he sees and i did. I don't think there's anything i've been in a shot mid fight. You know the tweet coming up on the screen is good but getting the i. That's that's the next level right question. He's favorite ufc fight overtime man. That's such a tough one. My girl and i are both rabid fans we sit down we watch you know for six hours from the fight. Pass prelims on and there's only one fighter who when this fighter fights we can almost not stand the anxiety because if anything bad happens rose nominee unions. It's going to destroy dog. Rose thug rose. We love her so much that we almost like can't stand the anxiety of watching her fight because we so don't want anything bad to happen to her. When thug rose. I knocked out. You wanna nj check like we were jumping up and down on the sofa like tom. Cruise doing an oprah interview was it was it. I mean she likes her so much was it. Wasn't he love about you. Know i would have to say that it is her humility. You know. I of the belief that it's possible to be a star in the ufc and have humility and respect and integrity in all of this Trash talk and being the villain and being disrespectful of your opponents like it a little bit rubs me the wrong way you know i. I don't care for it as much as fighter with with real class like destined pouria. And i'm speaking with dustin pori a after the last mcgregor fight and i told him i said you know what man not only happy for you. But i'm happy with the idea that we could usher in a new era. Where the stars of the us the you have seen can be like really classy. Have humility be good people. And what dustin said was he said man. That's what i want for the whole world. You know what. I want people in the all the people in the world to be like what a great guy. I understand that the fight game is show business. It's entertainment and so you've gotta get attention you've got to create a story line. You know there is value in being disliked. I mean take kobe. Covington for example. I love watching that guy fight. I feel so invested in disliking colby. Covington that i could almost say he's my favorite fighter. You know so. I understand the you know the dynamics of fight promotion but i also just wish that That there is a real reward for being a classy guy with humility. You know like rob rob whitaker. He was saying. Hey man. I know that. The title shot. I should be talking trash and this and that was. That's just not me and that kind of hurt me in my heart. I want like. I want that for the good guys question. What is your favorite. Yes he fight that you have attended or watched you know. I gotta i gotta say it's a toss up between this last one between dustin and connor because i mean i was sitting right next to donald trump and justin bieber. You know the celebrity firepower at you have to sixty four was really off the charts. Man always mcgregor fight as far as actual fights go being in the very front row watching whitaker romero to in chicago. This happened and June of twenty eighteen and god. It was incredible fight. That hall event was was unbelievable. And si- right up close in person from the front row a love. That was incredibly. You call go room. I mean i mean i. I live in england so we have to stay up to three in the morning to watch the fights. You kinda you kinda like forcing your.

"There had to find a way to be the boss being command and for me. You know what it came down to kent. Whoever was going to be in command was going to be a commandment to and that's to me. That's it that was the fight. I'm gonna go further. But for me. I don't i don't be as somebody if it's you know it's one thing i don't try to go somewhere else making something that's more interesting more. No it stat. Whatever it is for me. It was who's going to control the jet that that one night and strictly controlled the jab. Now to the credit where i disagree with you. A little bit was what way traffic except the second round the second round hole a run. He made a run to get back into the fight and he might have even one that second round to be honest he made him one. But i'd find out for me And it was all one way. Traffic bed strickland. Shoulders worth chilled. Why was the favorite. So why people take so much a out there. In a ufc world in mma will where they took control but he took a four with the he did his. I like to say he's set the table jeb eating that he ate with the right at. That's what he was looking at. That was that was his. That was his mo that was that was his plan. You could see it wasn't complex was going to set the table to great with the right hand. What i eat and and he did he. He had a nice steph accurate hawed jam and the difference for me was where whole came up short way a homemade homemade a bit of a mistake was holding us holding music jam. His jab was a little long hauls and he should've found the to take control with his job. He should have found because they're gonna come down to who controls the jeb as good a good troll the night. That's what was going come down to. And he added shot there. Let's say he would have won. The other guy showed his worth sterkel. Show to be the the destroyer guy the more complete guide. You will Where he could have an edge if they went to the floor. Ed used that edge by just getting into the right position not even avenue to go to the mat but getting up against getting hold up against the defense the the cage if you will What he way he could have control it. Kinda did with dc the great daniel kobe and all those commentators with great would talk about what he talked about. Kate space who gets see. I talk about geography. He talks about safety all the same cage face. Who gets the right cage space that they need and for me. It's geography but it about like i said save it amounts to it amounts of the same day and what it came down to. There was not understanding holding understand about distance where he had a little longer jab. He needed to throw his have for maybe four inches maybe three inches further back. Eddie he might have had a chance. He did it in spots and he landed but wasn't enough. It wasn't enough. He allowed again cage space geography. Whatever makes you comfortable baby. But he allowed strictly to get his the distance where he could jab for the proper distance and be the boss where all did never got wondering accommodate commentators. Who i again. I applaud them. I can't remember what it was busy. Paying was to shelter. Yes felt he does a great job to and then and then the blow-by-blow. Guy friend in brendan fitzgerald. Yeah they're all very good. But one of mehta said something right along what i was thinking about and i was tweeting about. My man. Rob was getting those tweets. Baby you know where where they mentioned. He's having trouble. He being whole with this fits and that's what they meant for me was. He was jabber for the right distance again. He had long rum's if.
